Why Christmas Trees are Better Than Men

A Christmas tree is ALWAYS erect.

Even small Christmas trees give satisfaction.

A Christmas tree stays up for 12 days and nights.

A Christmas tree always looks good-even when it’s lit.

A Christmas tree is always happy with its size.

A Christmas tree has cute balls.

A Christmas tree doesn’t get mad if you break one of its balls.

You can throw out a Christmas tree when it wears out.

You don’t have to put up with a Christmas tree all year.

You only have to feed/water a Christmas tree once a week.

Christmas trees will always be there to light up your life.

Christmas trees only get turned on when you want it to.

Christmas trees always smell nice and never pass gas.

If a Christmas tree needles you, you can toss it out.

Christmas trees don’t ask you to have little Christmas trees.

  1. Morning All!
this was one of those funny emails my sister sent me over 20 years ago…I just can’t seem to throw them out, so they’re in a big notebook–now on my bookshelf so i don’t lose track of it again.
supposed to be nicer today…it poured yesterday and the wind was fierce!

    1. Good morning! What a cute open! Too funny!!! At least the rain didn’t freeze and turn icy, right? My chest freezer is all nicely defrosted and plugged in again; soon I can bring everything in from the patio.

          Are you baking again?

          Here’s a killer cookie recipe.

          ALMOND ROCA COOKIE BARS

          Ingredients
nonstick cooking spray (i use bakers joy for this recipe)
          1/2 cup brown sugar
          1/2 cup granulated sugar
          1 cup unsalted butter
          1 large egg yolk
          1/2 tsp salt
          1 tsp almond extract
1 cup all-purpose flour (see note in recipe intro)
1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips (note: a 12oz bag has about 2 cups chips, and i usually use the entire bag for more chocolate flavor, but the original recipe called for 1 1/2 cups of chips)
          1/2 cup finely chopped almonds

          Directions
          1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly spray a 11×15-inch baking sheet (or jelly roll pan) with nonstick spray.
          2. Blend brown sugar, white sugar, butter and egg yolk until well combined. Add flour, salt and almond extract, and mix well.
          3. Add dough to baking sheet, and spread into even layer. Bake in oven for 25 minutes.
          4. Immediately after removing baking sheet from oven, spread chips overthe hot cookie base. As the chips melt, use a spatula to spread the meltedchocolate evenly over the cookies base. Sprinkle the almonds on top whilechocolate is still warm and melted. Let it cool

HINT – Double the recipe and use the leftover egg whites for these:

          FORGOTTEN COOKIES

          Ingredients

          2 egg whites
          1 teaspoon vanilla extract
          1 pinch salt
          1/4 tsp cream of tartar
          1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
          1 cup chopped pecans
          ¼ cup white sugar

          Directions

          Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (170 degrees C).

Beat egg whites with the salt and cream of tartar until foamy. Slowly add sugar, one tablespoonful at a time, beating after each addition until the meringue stands in stiff peaks.

Stir in vanilla and fold in chocolate chips and pecans. Drop by teaspoonfuls on a lined baking sheet and place in preheated oven.

After 2 minutes, turn off oven. Leave meringues in oven overnight. Remove from pan and store in cookie tin lined with paper towel.

          1. OOPS – I forgot there was another recipe on that file.

Those Forgotten cookies are good if you like meringues – which I do.

Williamsburg and Martha Washington Cookies are a variation of meringues with pecans and made with brown sugar. One has a bit of flour. Oh man – they are so good.

            Martha Washington Cookies

            Ingredients
            2 egg whites
            ¼ teaspoon salt
            1 cup packed brown sugar
            1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
            1 cup pecan pieces

            Directions
            Preheat oven to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C).
Beat egg whites and salt until foamy; gradually add brown sugar and vanilla.
Continue beating until stiff peaks are formed. Fold in pecan halves.
Drop by teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet. Bake for 1 hour.

            2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
            ½ teaspoon salt
            1 teaspoon vanilla extract

            Directions
Beat egg whites until stiff. Add salt and beat. Add brown sugar gradually. Sprinkle flour over pecans, toss and add to mixture. Add vanilla.
Drop by teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet. (Use low fat, non-stick spray for less fat).
            Bake at 275 degrees F (135 degrees C) for 12 – 15 minutes.

GRAHAM CHEWIES – PECAN BAR COOKIES

Note: Adapted from “Celebrating With Julienne” by Susan Campoy. Campoy writes, “I adapted this recipe from one of my favorite books, ‘Nantucket Open-House Cookbook,’ by Sarah Leah Chase. I love watching people’s expressions when they bite into these bars for the first time. The textures and flavors — rich toffee, a chewy center and a crunchy bottom — make everyone smile. The secret is not to over-bake the crust. Serve them at room temperature, so the flavors meld together.”

          Crust
          3 cups graham cracker crumbs
3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) butter, at room temperature
          1/4 cup sugar
          2 tablespoons flour

          Topping
          2 1/2 cups brown sugar
          4 extra-large eggs
          2/3 cup graham cracker crumbs
          1 tablespoon vanilla extract
          3/4 teaspoon salt
          1/2 teaspoon baking powder
          1 cup pecans, chopped
          Optional – chopped coconut flakes

          1. Heat the oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl with an electric mixer, or in the bowl of a stand mixer, beat the graham cracker crumbs, butter, sugar and flour until moist and well-blended. Press the mixture firmly and evenly over the bottom of a 13-inch by 9-inch baking pan. Bake until the crust is golden brown, 10 to 15 minutes.
          2. While the crust is baking, in a large bowl, whisk together the brown sugar and eggs to blend. Whisk in the graham cracker crumbs, vanilla, salt and baking powder until well-blended. Stir in the pecans and coconut if desired.
          3. Spread the mixture over the baked crust and return to the 350-degree oven until the filling is dark-golden on top and jiggles slightly when tapped, 20 to 25 minutes. Transfer the pan to a cooling rack and cool completely.
          4. Sprinkle a light coating of sifted powdered sugar over the pan if desired, and cut into 24 bars. Wrap in plastic and keep at room temperature up to 1 day in advance of serving. To keep longer – store in refrigerator or freezer.

Jack Smith’s mother-in-law was a George Soros Senior Fellow at the Open Society Foundation.

Jack Smith’s psychotherapist sister-in-law compared Trump winning POTUS the same as 9/11 and urged her patients to resist and is also a Biden donor.

Democrats always take care of their own.

3)$8 million taxpayer dollars was in the

    Fair is fair, right?

The Special Counsel is just another taxpayer funded Democrat political campaign that will be used to create more lying headlines to be used to produce Democrat campaign ads in 2024.

  7. bringing this story again from yesterday…one more way the left exploits BALLOTS
    entire story

There are new questions about the 2020 election after the latest numbers from the 2022 election.

Rep. Janel Brandtjen, R-Menomonee Falls, on Tuesday said this year’s military voting numbers show something happened between the two elections.

“We have learned that the number of active military members voting in the 2022 election dropped by over 83% since the 2020 election!” Brandtjen said in a statement.

Brandtjen is at the center of the story about military ballots in Wisconsin.

She received three fake military ballots ahead of Election Day. Those ballots, it turned out, came from a Milwaukee election manager.

“When Milwaukee deputy election clerk Kim Zapata created three military members out of thin air and sent requests for legitimate ballots to my home address, the vulnerability of the military ballot process was exposed,” Brandtken added.

Military voters in Wisconsin don’t have to actually register, and never have to show voter ID in order to get an absentee ballot in the state.

Brandtjen said there were nearly 10,000 military votes in the 2020 election, and not even 2,000 in the 2022 election.

“The 2022 active military voters dropped to 1,573 after a 2020 high number of 9,876, 4,966 in 2018 and 6,736 in 2016,” she said. Referencing the Wisconsin Election Commission, Brandtjen continued: “The substantial drop should have been noticed by WEC, and inquiries should have been made. Once again, WEC failed to do their job.”

Wisconsin law requires local election managers track military voters on a list, and Brandtjen said many clerks did not do that.

Brandtjen is not saying whether she thinks the shift in military voting numbers point to more shenanigans from the 2020 election or a lack of shenanigans in the 2022 election.

Brandtjen has, of course, led one of the investigations into the 2020 election. She also was a supporter of the investigation conducted by former Supreme Court Justice Mike Gableman, and has said the questions first raised in that probe have not yet been answered.

  8. “Balenciaga Is Pizzagate — The truth about the Satanic pedophile cabal featuring Balenciaga, the Clintons, Rachel Chandler and more!”

    Liz Crokin
EXCERPT: “In this column I’m going to explain in detail how the Balenciaga scandal is Pizzagate.

The term Pizzagate stems from the release of thousands of John Podesta’s e-mails via Wikileaks in 2016. John was the campaign chairman for Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign, and several e-mails between him and his associates contained the use of the word pizza, a well-known pedophile code word that has been identified by law enforcement and documented in the Department of Justice records, in a context that does not make sense for them to be referring to the Italian dish. This launched a citizen investigation around the world, and what horrified researchers discovered is that there’s a secret cabal of powerful Satanic pedophiles who are engaged in the rape, torture and trafficking of children. That’s what Pizzagate is, period. Pizzagate was never just about one DC pizza joint and a basement – that was the mainstream media’s spin on it to distract you and to cover up crimes against children.

I’ve been saying for six years now that one day the mainstream media would be forced to tell the truth about Pizzagate. That day has finally come. Enter Balenciaga. Balenciaga recently released a holiday ad campaign featuring children holding teddy bears in bondage with BDSM accessories. In another ad that dropped on Nov. 21, copies appeared strategically placed on a desk from the Supreme Court Case United States v. Williams, a ruling that upheld the PROTECT Act, that increased federal protections against child pornography. These ads promoting the sexual exploitation of children launched another global citizen investigation, and suddenly it was 2016 all over again. However, this time the media has not been able to successfully cover up or ignore this elephant in the room. As researchers dug, the Balenciaga Satanic horror show got worse and worse. The parallels between this scandal and what citizen journalists discovered after the Podesta E-mails were released are not only strikingly similar, there’s direct connections between the Clintons and their sex trafficking pals and Balenciaga. I will get to that soon.

Upon further digging, Internet sleuths discovered that some of the women behind Balenciaga’s ad campaigns openly promote on their social media images glorifying Satanism, occult blood rituals, child abuse and cannibalism. For instance, the fashion empire’s stylist, Lotta Volkova, has an Instagram account littered with stomach churning, demonic garbage and many of the photos depict child torture. There are photos of white rabbits terrorizing children. In one photo Volkova is in a church wearing a long-sleeve shirt that reads “Cannibal Corpse”. Another photo shows a young woman tied down to the floor over a pentagram. Above her is a man dressed up as Baal, a Canaanite deity who kids were ritualistically sacrificed to. One of the more disturbing images shows a child with her mouth and entire body taped to a chair. The helpless child has a headset on linked up to a computer. In one image, Volkova implies she’s eating a baby with a photo of her eating a tiny arm with a demon possessed look in her eyes with the caption “canniballotta”. There’s another Satanic photo of her wearing all red holding baby dolls that are blood red.”

Qualifications and cogency don’t matter any more.

Platforms do not matter any more.

Elections are rigged – so that candidates like Biden, Fetterman and Katie Hobbs win whether they campaign or even speak coherently, much less put forth a rational platform and policies.

They just sign up, get big $$$, go through the motions and wait until the election fraud machine works on their behalf.

As that Communist once said – doesn’t matter who votes – it’s who counts the votes that matters.

  11. “Google to introduce behavioral “interventions” — The next dystopian idea, including proposals such as “pre-bunking.”
    By Didi Rankovic
    Posted 3:07 pm

ENTIRE ARTICLE @ ReclaimTheNet: “Google has presented its project dubbed “Info Interventions” based on what it says is a behavioral science that, if these “interventions” are used as directed, could “teach” users to the degree they will become resilient to online harms. Another promise is that by “pre-bunking misinformation” users can be “immunized.”

How is this supposed to work? Google has put up a site that states the goal is to provide accuracy prompts that would refocus users’ attention toward whatever Google decides qualifies as accurate information. And to reach it, the “hypothesis” currently seems to be that “reminding individuals to think about accuracy when they might be about to engage with false information can boost users’ pre-existing accuracy goals.”

This method of effectively training users to behave in a desired way is unsurprisingly attempting to draw from behavioral science research and Google says it has been validated by digital experiments. This “gift to the world” comes thanks to Google’s unit called Jigsaw, set up to “explore threats to open societies, and build technology that inspires scalable solutions.”

A Medium post by Jigsaw posted back in March 2021 declares that research suggests there could be a powerful way to reduce “misinformation” simply by reminding internet users to think about accuracy – in other words, goading them until they move to where you want them to go.

There’s even an attempt to guilt-trip users into thinking they are helping spread “misinformation by being prone to distractions” – whereas having accuracy as defined by Google on your mind might reduce that.

Currently, Google explains on its “Interventions” page, if a user scrolls through a feed they may encounter “potential misinformation.” That would then activate “an accuracy prompt” that would partially cover the information already labeled as misinformation. The prompt contains a short explanation as to why a user is seeing it, but in general, a user’s attention is now supposed to shift from the content they wanted to see, to the prompt, which means they will be directed to consider “accuracy” instead. They will also be subjected to something called information literacy tips.

Primed like this, the user’s attention is now all on the “reminder” with the content left far behind – and more importantly, as far as Google is concerned, the next time they encounter similar content, the hope is they will “think twice” (presumably, about engaging with it.)

Now about the results of those experiments Google (Jigsaw) says have been carried out together with MIT and the University of Regina:

“Those who received accuracy tips were 50% more discerning in sharing habits versus users who did not” – and, “Pre-roll videos on YouTube drove up to an 11% increase in confidence, three weeks after exposure.”

    See the full details here.”

We obtained a copy of the appeal for you here. The group believes that current US administration officials have violated the First Amendment by playing an active role in directing the way major social media companies censor user content around Covid. This, NCLA said, announcing the appeal, included not only some Biden White House Officials but also some from the the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

The lawsuit, the future of which is now in the hands of the Sixth Circuit, concerns Twitter users Mark Changizi, Michael P. Senger, and Daniel Kotzin, who are described as having been active on the social site, with a large number of followers – and what attracted those followers was plaintiffs’ criticism, described as “reasoned,” of Covid restrictions.

However reasoned or otherwise, their views on the pandemic situation got them suspended and deplatformed, like so many Twitter users before recent dramatic changes at the company.

It’s also not the first time that Covid speech that Twitter banned at the time was later recognized by the government as true rather than being “misinformation.” And all the while as narratives and the dubious “scientific consensus” on the topic were changing, social media users were getting banned regardless, and, as it turned out, US government officials had their hand in it by pressuring private companies behind social platforms.

The lawsuit filed by Changizi, Kotzin (both were temporarily suspended for their speech) and Kotzin, who was permanently banned, names the Department of Health and Human Services et al., based on all the information that has come to light about the White House collaborating and even threatening tech companies to comply with the official line on Covid.

“The government may not direct social media platforms to censor expression of certain viewpoints about Covid-19 or anything else. The law is clear that the First Amendment prohibits government from using private companies to accomplish what it cannot do directly,” NCLA Litigation Council Jenin Younes said, noting that “the reasoning underlying the district court’s dismissal order in this case would prevent any individual from bringing a case alleging such censorship, since it will almost always be impossible without discovery -to prove the government targeted a specific person.”

For that reason, the “the Sixth Circuit must reverse the district court’s erroneous judgment,” said the NCLA in a statement.”

“Google’s handing over of location data on January 6th protesters was a new record — The biggest geofence investigation ever – and also the biggest challenge to them.”
    By Didi Rankovic
    Posted 2:36 pm

ENTIRE ARTICLE @ ReclaimTheNet: “The investigation into January 6 events in Washington is said to be the FBI’s biggest in history; and another record that was broken, reports say, is the number of phones identified via the geofence dragnet mass surveillance method, and thanks to Google.

There is still no consensus between various US courts on how valid, under the 4th, lawful search-related amendment, geofence warrants even are. Nevertheless, of the 5,723 devices that Google identified for the FBI “initially” about 900 people have been charged for some offense related to the riot. The thousands of others were caught in the Google/FBI net of digital surveillance because their location data showed they happened to be close to the Capitol as the events unfolded.

All this has been revealed in a filing in the case of David Rhine, one of those suspected of entering the building, behaving “disorderly and disruptively,” and “parading, demonstrating, or picketing in a Capitol building.”

Rhine’s attorney now wants to suppress geofence data – citing their client’s constitutional expectation of privacy regarding his Google data – and evidence has in the process revealed how it works and at what scale. The filing reaffirmed and revealed a host of facts about the tech giant’s role in geofencing.

The main tool is Location History. Even phones set to “airplane mode” were caught in the dragnet, and people who tried to erase their location history after the events – somehow – wound up attracting even more attention from the FBI.

Google’s Location feature uses data from GPS, wireless internet networks, and Bluetooth and locates the device with accuracy that is said to be less than “a few yards.” So, apparently much better than relying on the cell towers’ accuracy in tracking users.

No wonder then that in the US, Google receives about 10,000 geofence warrants each year. Since it seems to rely on Location History being turned on, Android users can opt-out when prompted while setting up their Android phone.

And later they can do the same when a variety of apps, sometimes seemingly for no reason, wants precisely that permission from them. Meanwhile, Rhine’s representatives say that the government “enlisted Google to search untold millions of unknown accounts in a massive fishing expedition,” while “just a small amount of Location History can identify individuals engaged in personal and protected activities (such as exercising their rights under the First Amendment).”

Read the motion to dismiss filing here:

If the judge accepts these arguments, Rhine and others the FBI identified using this method could be set free.”

He had already been neutered and declawed but he kept tripping her and chewing on the power cords. Her apartment was just too small for him as well. When I first brought him here, he was very playful and loved having the room to run. That only lasted a couple of years before he got fat and lazy! LOL

  14. Oh, gross!!!

EXCERPT: “There is probably trace amounts of animal poop, rat hairs and insect skin in some of your favorite foods — and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is OK with it. The average 17oz jar of peanut butter is legally allowed to contain up to five rodent hairs and still meet the agency’s regulatory standards.

Every store-bought 3oz bag of popcorn can ship with one rat poop pellet and a standard 1.5oz bar of chocolate is allowed up to 30 insect parts. Insect fragments include legs, antenna and other parts of the bugs that can find their way mixed into the products. These ‘food defects’ end up in food during the harvesting of raw materials, and during the manufacturing process.

The FDA says that it is ‘economically impractical’ for manufacturers to grow and harvest these products without at least some minor contamination.

(The FDA allows for defects like rat poop, insect parts and mold to be present in people’s food. In coffee, up to 10 per cent of the beans are allowed to be moldy, and the same share is allowed to be infested with insects. One rat poop pellet is allowed in each sample of popcorn. There can also be up to five rodent hairs in one jar of peanut butter, and 30 insect parts in a single bar of chocolate.)

The agency’s Food Defects Levels Handbook notes the levels listed in its guidelines are a maximums, but the actual amounts in foods are often lower. These defects are so tiny they do not cause harm to consumers. Insects, while gross, do not typically lead to food-borne illnesses. Whereas bacterial infections like sapovirus – most recently detected in oysters which were recalled by the FDA – can cause serve illness and death.

The list of foods with allowed defects includes fruit and vegetables – fresh, canned and frozen – spices, seafood and nuts. In total there are 111 products listed.”

  15. Entire Article: “CINCINNATI (WXIX) – Pardoned by former Ky. Gov. Matt Bevin nearly three years ago, a man was found guilty of strangulation on Wednesday. The Kenton County jury recommended a sentence of five years for Joheim Bandy.

“This is definitely someone we’re afraid of,” said Kenton County Commonwealth’s Attorney Rob Sanders. Sanders was furious in 2019 when Bevin pardoned numerous convicted criminals, Bandy included. “The sad reality of this case is that Bandy never should have been out of prison in the first place to commit these crimes, and a young woman almost lost her life because of it,” Sanders said Wednesday.

Bandy had been sentenced to 13 years on an assault and robbery conviction. He only served around a year before his pardon. “He hadn’t had nearly enough rehabilitation to give me confidence whatsoever that he had turned his life around like Governor Bevin opined in the pardon,” Sanders said. Sanders said it didn’t take long for Bandy to get in trouble. Officers began looking for him after several reports of strangulation in the City Heights neighborhood. “They were coming in faster than they could find him,” Sanders said.

Bandy was found guilty Wednesday in the first of three strangulation trials. Sanders says a neighbor witnessed Bandy attacking a young mother in April 2022. “She called 911 and told the operator that she observed Mr. Bandy holding her neighbor by the hair and punching her in the face,” Sanders said. Prosecutors say the woman had been on the phone with her mom when it happened, hearing her daughter being assaulted and crying for help. The victim did not want to testify on fears of what Bandy would do to her, Sanders said.

“The world is a safer place because of her,” Sanders said. “And she’s probably going to save a lot of other women from being assaulted by Mr. Bandy as well, because at least for a little while he’s going to be behind bars.”

Bandy’s sentencing is scheduled for late January. His second strangulation trial is scheduled for February. The third does not yet have a trial date.”

  16. “Lincoln Project’s Rick Wilson Can’t Escape His Own Stench After Moving on to Latest Grift”
By Sister Toldjah | 12:45 PM on November 30, 2022

ENTIRE ARTICLE @ RedState: “As we previously reported, the gnashing of teeth and the popcorn-worthy temper tantrums have commenced rapid-fire in Never Trump LaLa Land over scattered speculation mostly in Republican circles that perhaps former President Donald Trump won’t have the same luck in his 2024 presidential bid as he did in 2016.

Among those who are wailing and gesturing wildly over the possibility has been Rick Wilson of Lincoln Project infamy, who as we all know at this point has unquestionably turned being an unapologetic sellout/fraudster into an art form in ways that will be analyzed for years to come.

Undoubtedly because of uncertainty over Trump’s political future and the once-lucrative gravy train potentially coming to a screeching halt, Wilson has moved on to his latest grift according to tweets that he’s periodically posted to his account in recent days about something called “Resolute Square,” which Wilson claims is “a media enterprise solely dedicated to defending democracy and attacking those who would like to see it die. And starting for just $5 a month, you can help it grow.”

Wilson was immediately mocked over the transparently obvious ploy by, among others, the DC Examiner’s Byron York.

“You can defend democracy for the low, low price of $5 a month! And for just $10 a month, you can defend democracy even more, plus get great defending democracy swag! And for $250 a year, you can be a super duper defender of democracy, with super special swag! Join today!” York tweeted in response. For those who are curious, yes the “super special swag” York mentioned is actually a thing:

Others were quick to point out that The Usual Suspects on the “show me da money” grifter circuit never change:

Some quipped about what Wilson’s “target audience” would be, a not-so-veiled reference to the disgraced Lincoln Project’s shameful cover-up of the disturbing scandal involving fellow co-founder John Weaver, who was reportedly trying to groom young men, some allegedly underage at the time, behind the scenes while Lincoln Project higher-ups looked the other way as the cash flowed in primarily from super-rich, self-important Democrats who detested Trump:

Whether it’s kids who are the target audience or people who enjoy carrying around Confederate-themed coolers on summertime trips to the lake as much as Wilson does, one thing is an absolute certainty in all of this: If someone is gullible enough to pay their hard-earned money for the absolute cringe that Wilson delivers online every day for free, they might want to think twice about getting on social media to complain about it later. Because in the end, just like it is when one seeks out a lady of the night, it’s pretty obvious that you’re, um … just getting what you paid for.”

At first he intended for the preserved bodies to serve as purely educational tools, but his flair for the theatrical got the better of him. Soon he was positioning flayed, desiccated corpses in attention-getting poses—a man astride a horse; fetuses dancing a jig. The locals did not respond with enthusiasm. Red liquid does stream down the glacier, staining the ice in its path, but there’s a perfectly reasonable explanation. The crimson substance is high-salt, iron-heavy, microbe-laden water that’s been trapped beneath the glacier for millions of years. As it reaches the surface it oxygenates, resulting in the rust-colored waterfall.”

  20. another slap down of the illegal deadbeat student loan vote buying scheme
    entire article
On Wednesday, a federal appeals court decided to reject the request of the Biden administration to reinstate the student loan debt relief program after it was ruled illegal by a lower district court in Texas. Biden’s student loan bailout will remain paused after the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans rejected Biden’s plea to put a stay on the program.

The Student Loan handout sought to forgive $10,000 in federal student loans for most borrowers and up to $20,000 for PELL grant recipients. It has been estimated this forgiveness would cost upwards of $400 billion that taxpayers would have to cover.

The original lawsuit in Texas came from a conservative organization, the Job Creators Network Foundation, who represented borrowers who did not qualify for loan forgiveness. U.S. District Judge Mark Pittman oversaw the case and sided with the conservative group.

Pittman condemned the student loan handouts and ruled them illegal. The Texas judge stated in his ruling:

“Whether the Program constitutes good public policy is not the role of this Court to determine. “Still, no one can plausibly deny that it is either one of the largest delegations of legislative power to the executive branch, or one of the largest exercises of legislative power without congressional authority in the history of the United States.”

“In this country, we are not ruled by an all-powerful executive with a pen and a phone. Instead, we are ruled by a Constitution that provides for three distinct and independent branches of government … The Court is not blind to the current political division in our country. But it is fundamental to the survival of our Republic that the separation of powers as outlined in our Constitution be preserved. And having interpreted the HEROES Act, the Court holds that it does not provide ‘clear congressional authorization’ for the Program proposed by the Secretary.”

The three-judge panel in New Orleans chose not to override Pittman’s ruling. However, the court will expedite the case in the soonest available oral argument. The court does not contain appointees of Biden, casting doubt on the program’s chances.

  23. “Germany has ‘OneLove’ for Qatar’s gas — Germany just got done lecturing Qatar on human rights during the World Cup only to sign a 15-year gas deal with the Sharia-run country”
    November 30, 2022
editor: REMIX NEWS author: JOHN CODY

(Germany’s Robert Habeck (left) is celebrating a 15-year gas deal signed with Qatar, led by Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.”

EXCERPT: “The entire German political establishment went into a rage after FIFA banned the pro-LGBT “OneLove” armband at the World Cup. Germany’s economics minister, Robert Habeck of the Green Party, told the German national team they should defy the threat of sanctions and wear the armband anyway. Various government officials protested the move, including Interior Minister Nancy Faeser, who wore a OneLove armband during the opening game while cheering on the German national team.

Now, immediately after the “scandal,” Germany is proudly announcing a new gas deal with none other than Qatar — a deal Habeck has labeled as “super.” The deal may represent an energy coup for the new government, but perhaps just as important is that the deal demonstrates the German left-liberal establishment’s raw political and social engineering power — the amazing ability to virtue signal and then completely contradict that same virtue signaling a week later with zero repercussions.

It is important to remember that European foreign and energy policy is value-based, and while Qatar’s actions last week were abominable, Germany is forward-looking. Yes, Sharia-run Qatar is still known for its persecution of women and LGBT groups, and sure, Qatar has a far more oppressive, non-democratic system than Russia, and yes, there are still plenty of instances of outright slavery in Qatar, but in the words of Habeck, “15 years is great.” He is, after all, referring to the fact that the LNG contract will begin running in 2026 and end in 2041.

As N.S. Lyons writes, “Hypocrisy… is simply a display of power, so the more blatant it is the better. Hypocrisy is a concrete demonstration of living without having to fear consequences.”

The reality is the gas deal with Qatar is an example of hypocrisy, but also realpolitik, even if the left-liberals would never admit it.

Germany needs gas, but it cannot obtain the amount it needs without violating its own so-called moral standards, which is why it is reaching out to all those “detestable” countries such as Qatar, which are extremely anti-gay, but also quite Brown, a combination which creates a great deal of confusion in the German mind. Interestingly, the realpolitik deal with Qatar was necessitated by Germany actually ignoring realpolitik and abandoning Russian resources, but Russians are unapologetically White and not very happy about gay people, which is far easier for the German mind to process.
    ——————
Of course, the U.S., and in turn, the German media, would fight tooth and nail against such a dramatic foreign policy turnaround vis-à-vis Russia, even if some within Germany’s political establishment are secretly hoping for the war to come to an end without Ukraine necessarily pushing the Russians back to their border.

For now, moral grandstanding trumps raw national interest across Europe, and the German and European populations, even with gas deals from Qatar and the United States, will continue to pay for this new paradigm.”

    December 01, 2022
    editor: REMIX NEWS author: MANDINER

(Russian Tornado-S rocket launcher. (Wikimedia Commons)

ENTIRE ARTICLE: “The Russian Defense Ministry announced in a video that it has deployed one of the country’s most powerful weapons, the Tornado-S rocket launcher system, in Ukraine. The devastating power of the system is likened to that of a small nuclear bomb.

A recent U.S. Congressional report analyzed how and to what extent the Russian military’s activities have changed since the outbreak of the war in Ukraine. Among other things, it was found that the Russian side has not only improved communication between troops in the wake of the initial setbacks, but has also transformed the campaign into a generalized all-arms fight. The most important element of this is the extensive use of artillery, including a special role for rocket launchers.

Effective range of 120 kilometers — The recently deployed 9K515 Tornado-S rocket launcher has been in the Russian army’s arsenal since 2016. It has already been tested in the Syrian civil war and is now being deployed in Ukraine. The Tornado differs from its predecessor in that it can launch guided missiles that can attack targets up to 120 kilometers away, instead of the previous 70 kilometers.

Its thermobaric head is the most feared — In addition to satellite guidance and increased range, designers have developed a range of warheads. Among these, is one of the most terrifying, the thermobaric warhead, which not only scorches its surroundings but literally sucks the air out of people’s lungs.

The effectiveness of a single Tornado-S is equivalent to 21 conventional BM-21 Grad serial launchers and can devastate tens of hectares at full firepower. A battery of six launchers can stop an entire division or destroy a small town. That is why its combat power is compared to that of nuclear weapons.”

  25. Shedding Concerns: “It Looks Like the mRNA is Transferring from the Vaccinated to the Unvaccinated” — “Every shot is accumulating in the body with no ability for the body to get rid of it.”

EXCERPT (video @ link): “What are the risks to the unvaccinated?” asked the founder of Action4Canada, Tanya Gaw, in an interview with Dr. Peter McCullough. “There was a recent paper,” replied McCullough. “I just have it on my Substack if you want to review it — you go to the Courageous Discourse substack. And the first author is Helene Banoun, a former Inserm scientist. Inserm is a leading research unit in France. And Banoun has summarized this. This is disturbing. It looks like the messenger RNA is transferring from the vaccinated to the unvaccinated now.”

“And, in a paper by Fertig and colleagues, the messenger RNA is found circulating in the blood for at least two weeks. And the curves were not going down. That’s as long as they looked.”

In another study, they found messenger RNA in the lymph nodes of the vaccinated for months. “It looks like the body’s not clearing it out,” stated McCullough.

And then a recent paper that is “most disturbing” from Hanna and colleagues — JAMA. This paper showed that the messenger RNA is in the breast milk of women who took the vaccine during pregnancy or afterwards.

    So the big question.
Could you actually take a vaccine inadvertently through close contact, kissing, sexual contact, or breastfeeding? Dr. McCullough says, “it looks like the answer is YES.”
