We Need to Talk…

Are there any more chilling words than those on the planet?  Sigh…but sometimes it’s inevitable…so here goes.  Dr…uh…Mrs…First Lady…oh whatever…Jill, we NEED to talk.  There may be people surrounding the current…uh…your husband…who insist he remain in office sedated with drugs and ice cream in spite of evidence that he can no longer function cognitively.  We can all see that, and perhaps you do not have control over that aspect of things at present.  But there is something you DO have control of at the present time and that needs to be addressed post haste.  Your wardrobe.

Maybe someone along the campaign trail complimented your floral outfit and you took that to heart and ran with it.  Word of advice: STOP RUNNING!  It’s not a good look…

To be fair, you did try solids…sigh, another failure.  Perhaps maybe wear a bra…and something not so tight.  (whispering: you are no longer the sweet young thing sitting on Joe’s lap)

My goodness! And the footwear!!  This is the definition of CRINGE.

Admittedly, a former fashion model is a lot easier to dress in any type of clothing…

and yellow is NOT a color for everybody…

But a First Lady should complement her husband, be a strong partner, and champion her own cause. She should not overwhelm, but she should also not fade into the wallpaper or dress like upholstery.  It just makes her a target.

    EXCERPT: “House Republicans announced an investigation into President Joe Biden’s family, including his son Hunter Biden, on Thursday, just a day after winning control of the lower chamber of Congress.

    “I want to be clear, this is an investigation of Joe Biden, that is where the committee will focus in this next Congress,” GOP Rep. James Comer said. “These include conspiracy or defrauding the United States, wire fraud, conspiracy to commit wire fraud, violation of the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA), violation of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, violations of the Trafficking Victims Protection Act, tax evasion, money laundering, and conspiracy to commit money laundering.”

    Last month, Marco Polo, a nonprofit led by a former President Donald Trump staffer, released a 630-page report with 2,020 citations that fully document 459 crimes committed by the Biden family and their business associates. The detailed report sent to District Attorneys, U.S. Attorneys, and all 535 House and Senate members includes 140 alleged business-related crimes, 191 sex-related offenses, and 128 drug-related crimes.

    The group’s founder Garrett Ziegler told The Sun:

    “Our number one goal is to ensure that Republicans don’t waste time. The investigation has been done. This report is a simple but extremely thorough roadmap for who needs to be subpoenaed for which timeframes and for what types of crimes. All we’re seeking is the equal application of the law. So far, this saga has been one of the greatest examples of double standards in American legal history.”

    The report documents how Hunter Biden violated the Mann Act on at least six occasions, a sex-trafficking law that bars transporting individuals across state lines for illegal sexual activity.

    This is the same law that federal prosecutors convicted Ghislaine Maxwell of violating when she persuaded an underage girl to travel from Florida to New York with the intention of having her engage in sexual activity with Jeffrey Epstein. Violations of the Mann Act carry up to ten years of imprisonment, and Maxwell was sentenced to twenty years after being found guilty on two counts.

    The specific federal sex-trafficking law that Hunter Biden violated states:

    18 USC 2421(a) – Whoever knowingly transports any individual in interstate or foreign commerce….with intent that such individual engage in prostitution, or in any sexual activity for which any person can be charged with a criminal offense, or attempts to do so, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both.

    18 USC 2422 (a) – Whoever knowingly persuades, induces, entices, or coerces any individual to travel in interstate or foreign commerce….to engage in prostitution, or in any sexual activity for which any person can be charged with a criminal offense, or attempts to do so, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than 20 years, or both.

    The Federal Bureau of Investigation did not set out to prove Donald Trump had nothing to do with the January 6 events that have been characterized as an “insurrection” and a “coup.” But a new exclusive report from Reuters obliterates the essential claims that Donald Trump directed extremists to attack the Capitol building and urged protesters to thwart a peaceful transfer of power.

    “The FBI has found scant evidence that the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol was the result of an organized plot to overturn the presidential election result, according to four current and former law enforcement officials,” Reuters reported.

    “Though federal officials have arrested more than 570 alleged participants, the FBI at this point believes the violence was not centrally coordinated by far-right groups or prominent supporters of then-President Donald Trump, according to the sources, who have been either directly involved in or briefed regularly on the wide-ranging investigations,” the report continued.

    “Ninety to ninety-five percent of these are one-off cases,” said a former senior law enforcement official with knowledge of the investigation. “Then you have five percent, maybe, of these militia groups that were more closely organized. But there was no grand scheme with Roger Stone and Alex Jones and all of these people to storm the Capitol and take hostages.”

    Thus, the FBI has provided substantiation that many of those arrested at the Capitol riots were Trump-supporting MAGA tourists swept up in a planned siege by outside extremist groups. Donald Trump had nothing to do with ‘ordering’ the siege.

    House impeachment managers, nine radicals hand-picked by Speaker Pelosi to bring a partisan case to the Senate, made the case that former President Donald Trump was “singularly responsible” for the Capitol siege. The impeachment managers made the argument in an 80-page document.

    The Nation will indeed remember January 6, 2021—and President Trump’s singular responsibility for that tragedy. It is impossible to imagine the events of January 6 occurring without President Trump creating a powder keg, striking a match, and then seeking personal advantage from the ensuing havoc.

    However, President Trump could not have “incited” the Capitol attack that was planned before his speech was given. The New York Times reports that the “first barriers were breached” at 12:53 p.m. at the Northwest side of the Capitol. The NY Times then claims that Trump’s “call to action” was at 1:12 p.m. Of course, this is nearly twenty minutes after the purported first “breach” of the barricades. The speech was given a mile and a half away.

    Trump’s speech was standard political fare, and he even told the audience at his speech to “peacefully and patriotically make their voices heard.” He also deliberately said “fight” in the commonplace political context:

    For years, Democrats have gotten away with election fraud and weak Republicans. And that’s what they are. There’s so many weak Republicans. And we have great ones. Jim Jordan and some of these guys, they’re out there fighting. The House guys are fighting. But it’s, it’s incredible.

    The Commander-in-Chief and head of powerful intelligence and law enforcement agencies did not select a motley rabble of disparate extremist elements to carry out a “coup” to disrupt the objections of the Electoral College. The extremists in the Capitol building were not even found to be armed with firearms. This was a ludicrous argument from the very beginning, but that did not stop major news outlets from promoting it.

    Reuters itself had put forth the claim that Donald Trump had attempted to ‘thwart’ a peaceful transfer of power in a tendentious article it published on January 6.

    “Trump has sought for weeks to thwart a peaceful transfer of power, aided by groups such as ‘Stop the Steal,’ which promoted stopthesteal.us the day’s protest and peddled false claims about voter fraud on Facebook and other social media,” Reuters reported.

    “In a statement posted on Twitter by White House spokesman Dan Scavino on Thursday, Trump said there would be an orderly transition of power ‘though I totally disagree with the outcome of the election’,” the report continued.

    “But Wednesday’s events were the culmination of his efforts to thwart a peaceful transfer,” Reuters claimed. “About 50 minutes into the speech, some of his supporters, waving Trump flags, began heading toward Capitol Hill, where unprecedented mayhem ensued.”

    This is a deceptive narrative on many accounts, even setting aside that Democrats for decades had been putting forth arguments that elections were ‘stolen‘ or had otherwise contested election results. An article in USA Today is indicative of the kinds of misleading narratives the media spread about January 6 and Donald Trump’s purported role in it.

    “As the cases against nearly 200 of the Capitol rioters begin to wind through federal court, many of the defendants blame the commander in chief they followed for the violence that left five dead during the insurrection Jan. 6,” USA Today earlier reported.

    “In court documents, media interviews and through official attorney statements, staunch supporters of former President Donald Trump who carried out the attempted coup argue they were merely doing what they thought the nation’s leader had asked, some citing a cult-like loyalty.”

    Yet none of the January 6 defendants have been charged with “insurrection.” None of them have been charged with “treason” for attempting to overturn an election. In fact, many of those who were charged with even violent crimes are getting plea deals, apparently to prevent the release of exculpatory evidence in discovery, such as nearly 14,000 hours of video footage of the event.

    The FBI is coming clean that when it comes to January 6, the agency has found nothing against the 550 defendants to suggest it was an organized “coup” attempt. Nor is there anything to suggest that Donald Trump ‘incited’ the riot or had ‘directed’ the extremists.

    The lack of evidence, however, did not stop a partisan and deceptive impeachment trial against the former president. It shows that the Democratic Party does not care about dividing the country with its extreme and unfounded claims against its political opponents.

    Republicans will need to refuse to appropriate any funding to Merrick Garland’s Special Counsel and defund any part of the DOJ acting on behalf of the Democrat party as a taxpayer funded campaign arm for the Democrat’s 2024 presidential nominee.
