The Snow Charts

November is a month steeped with traditions and family activities.  One of my favorite traditions involved the Snow Charts.  As I mentioned before, the kids were always apprehensive when the snow started to fly, because their father had to travel down the mountain road we lived on at that time.  One snowy day in early November, I kept them busy making Christmas gifts for their grandmothers while we waited for my husband to call and say he arrived safely at work.

(The craft itself was a measuring stick for the yard, sort of like this…)

As we painted the pieces, we began to speculate about the coming winter and what they hoped would be a great amount of snowfall…and the idea of the snow charts was born.  One child would be responsible for the Snow Depth Chart.  The premise was simple.  To win the prize, you had to be the most accurate predictor of how much snow we got at the house for the winter season.  At dinner that night, my husband helped them determine the optimal place to put the measuring yardstick.  The child who made this chart was responsible for accurately measuring the snow in the yard at that point and entering it on the chart. They also had to record on the chart everyone’s guess at what the final amount would be.

The other child would be responsible for the Snow Frequency Chart, which would maintain and record the number of storms and our predictions of when the largest snowfall of the season would occur.  Naturally we had to vote on the rules, such as only storms dumping an inch or more of snow would be counted and the guess for when the largest snowfall occurred was expanded to a week and not a day. The responsibilities would switch every year and the kids were encouraged to make their charts as artistic as they could.   And there were additional prizes, of course.  The competition grew increasingly fierce as the kids got older, because they no longer coveted a $5 prize—they lobbied instead for Get-out-of chores FREE cards and longer curfews…LOL

  3. “Ex-Wife Asks Court To Bring Warnock in for Questioning in Child Custody Battle — Move would allow lawyers to grill Warnock on unpaid child care expenses”

Entire Article@ FreeBeacon: “Georgia Democratic senator Raphael Warnock’s ex-wife asked a court to bring Warnock in to face questions from her attorneys as part of their contentious child custody battle, according to a court notice filed last week and obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.

The filing is the first sign of movement in the case since the judge in August filed a sealed temporary custody order and shows that the conflict has not been resolved out of court. Warnock’s ex-wife, Oulèye Ndoye, has accused him in court filings of neglecting to see his children during his custody days and leaving her financially strapped with unpaid child care expenses.

The deposition will allow Ndoye’s lawyers to grill Warnock about these issues under oath in a closed-door deposition, information that could be used as part of a settlement or if the case goes to trial. Ndoye’s lawyers notified Warnock that they plan to question him on Jan. 18, 2023—just days after the Senate is scheduled to open for the next session.

Warnock’s rocky divorce and custody fight have been issues for him in the election. Allegations of neglect were highlighted in Republican political attacks, and Republican challenger Herschel Walker ran ads featuring police footage of Ndoye accusing Warnock of hitting her with his Tesla, a claim the senator denied.

The latest filing could revive attention on the messy legal dispute ahead of the Dec. 6 runoff. Warnock in June asked a judge to seal the full case, arguing that because he is “currently running for reelection” his opponent could use the case to “gain some political advantage,” according to a court motion obtained by the Free Beacon.

Ndoye in February took Warnock to court to revise their custody agreement, asking to move their two young children to Massachusetts while she attends a program at Harvard and for more financial support from Warnock. The couple split in 2020 after four years of marriage.

Ndoye said in her initial complaint that Warnock’s income “substantially increased” since he joined the Senate but that he “refused to reimburse [her] for child care expenses for the children” and “left [her] financially strapped.” She also claimed Warnock left their two children with “various babysitters overnight” when they were in his care.

Her statement about Warnock’s income is supported by financial disclosure records, reviewed by the Free Beacon, which show his earnings more than doubled since he joined the Senate in 2021, mostly due to payments from outside employers and book deals.

Warnock’s outside compensation includes a $7,400-per-month housing allowance from Ebenezer Baptist Church, where he serves as CEO and senior pastor. That housing allowance is not subject to income taxes, the Free Beacon first reported. The unusual arrangement also allows Warnock to dodge the annual outside income limit for senators under federal law.

Both Warnock and Ndoye have traded jabs in the custody case. In the spring, Warnock tried to subpoena Ndoye’s college records from a decade ago, a move that Ndoye said was “purely for the purpose of embarrassing and harassing” her, the Free Beacon reported. Fulton Superior Court judge Shermela Williams, who was a registered Democrat before winning her seat in a nonpartisan 2020 judicial election, barred the public from attending a hearing in June, the Free Beacon reported.”

“Arizona Announces They Have Finished Counting And Calvin Coolidge Has Won Their 3 Electoral Votes”

PHOENIX, AZ — After finally tallying the votes from Maricopa County, Arizona has announced that Calvin Coolidge has narrowly defeated John Davis for its three electoral votes.

“We are finally ready for the big announcement,” said Election Chairman Bill Gates. “I know the rest of the country has been patiently waiting. We are thrilled to announce that every vote in the 1924 Presidential election has at last been tallied, with Mr. Calvin Coolidge now set to receive all three electoral votes posthumously!”

Though happy to hear about Mr. Coolidge’s victory, the remainder of America has continued to ask when we might know the results of the most recent election. “We do recognize that the slight delay in certifying our vote is not entirely ideal, since Mr. Coolidge apparently died back in 1933,” said Arizona Secretary of State Ms. Hobbs. “However, we stand by our practice of locking every ballot away in a cellar for thirty years and then asking a drunk raccoon to count the votes. It has worked so well in the past, we see no reason to change now.”

According to sources, Ms. Hobbs periodically replaces the drunk raccoon by catching one in her backyard and then steadily introducing Jim Beam into its diet. “People act like I’m so lazy, but this system takes a tremendous amount of work,” stated Ms. Hobbs. “Everyone needs to spend a few days trying to teach a raccoon to shoot whiskey before they come at me with all their criticism.”

“Exclusive: Trump’s Big Announcement This Week Is That He Bowled A Perfect 300 In Wii Sports”

PALM BEACH, FL — The Babylon Bee has obtained the inside scoop regarding Donald J. Trump’s big upcoming announcement, and is first to report that the 45th President of the United States bowled a perfect 300 in Wii Sports.

This is the biggest news since last year’s announcement that Trump had scored a double-eagle in Mario Golf: Super Rush.

“I’m making a huge announcement today, absolutely huge,” reads the announcement leaked exclusively to The Babylon Bee as a show of gratitude for publishing real news at the highest standard. “Despite literally everyone trying to subvert the count and gaslight me into thinking I did not score a 300, I defied all possible expectations and did in fact score a 300 in Nintendo Bowling. Never been done before in Nintendo Bowling. Not ever. Phenomenal job everyone, especially me.”

Those close to President Trump confirm that he did in fact bowl a 300 in Wii Sports, but expressed confusion when asked by intrepid journalists of The Babylon Bee whether others had really tried to “rig the bowling scorecard,” as mentioned in the full announcement. One staffer looked suspiciously bewildered when asked whether the electronic bowling score software in Wii Sports could have been hacked by Dominion Voting Systems.

At publishing time, The New York Times had published an article describing how Joe Biden had bowled an even perfecter 301 in Wii Sports.”

“In Narrow Senate Race, Democratic Candidate Wins By Only 2 Roller Bags”

LAS VEGAS, NV — As the nation continues to await the final results of last week’s midterm elections, a local Democrat candidate pulled out a shocking victory in a narrow race, winning by only two rolling travel suitcases.

“The Republican candidate built a substantial lead on election night after being significantly ahead of his challenger in all of the polls,” said election expert Chip Parvin. “Fascinatingly, though many of the other races in the state were called as soon as the Democrat candidates took the lead, this particular race remained hotly contested for days after the polls were closed.”

Onlookers were stumped as to what exactly happened, but new vote tallies were reported this morning after several unmarked vans dropped off multiple bags at vote-counting sites in the middle of the night. In a statement shortly before the Associated Press and other major media outlets reported the final count, a representative for the county stated the Democrat had, in fact, won by only two roller bags.

“This only serves to further assure our citizens that our democratic process is entirely pure and incorruptible,” said election supervisor Tom Servo. “It is our solemn duty to make sure that our elections are done transparently, with every single vote being counted, even if they come in several days after polls close and have no discernable way to determine their validity or where they came from.”

At publishing time, county election workers were seen hurriedly filling out ballots ahead of time for the 2024 presidential election, which the county assured reporters is completely normal and in no way a violation of any election integrity ethics or existing laws.”

Will be disappointing if that is all he does but I get it, probably the safest move he can make to try and protect himself and his family, but make no mistake the people in control will never allow Trump to hold any office within the current system, it will simply provide two more years for them to do what they are doing and give the disenchanted masses two more years of false hope.

  8. this galls me! dems complain about every vote counts–but they don’t care about DILUTED votes…ANY discrepancy is a reason to redo an election…get it right or do it over…
    FTA
Election machines reported more votes than physical ballots cast in two precincts in an influential Virginia county, raising concerns about election administration in the midterms after the county’s former registrar was charged earlier this year with multiple election-related offenses.

In Prince William County, one of Virginia’s most important electoral counties, at least two precincts had more ballots reported on the machine scanners’ tallies of ballots than were tabulated by election officers, according to a report by Electoral Process Education Corporation (EPEC), a nonprofit that performs election data analysis.
    File
    PressRelease_EPEC_11_14_2022_FINAL-2.pdf

A board of directors member of EPEC told Just the News on Monday that precincts P-612 and P-104 were the ones affected by the discrepant vote totals. P-612 is in Virginia’s 7th Congressional District, and P-104 is in the 10th.

Democratic Rep. Abigail Spanberger won the 7th CD against GOP nominee Yesli Vega, and Democratic Rep. Jennifer Wexton won reelection in the 10th CD against Republican candidate Hung Cao.

In P-612, the ballot scanner reported 531 ballots scanned, but only 504 ballots were actually collected in the machine. Election officers realized the discrepancy when comparing the check-ins on the poll books to the number of ballots the scanner had reported.

The issues were documented by election officers with the General Registrar and Electoral Board, and the information was recorded in the official statement of results and chief’s notes.

Election officers hand-counted the ballots according to election procedures multiple times. The outcome was 27 more votes on the machine tallies than physical ballots. A total of 22 of those votes were for the Democratic candidate, three for the Republican, and two write-ins.

In P-104, there were only about 5-10 more ballots on the machine tallies compared to physical ballots out of a total of 1505 ballots cast.

While the discrepancies won’t change the outcome of the elections, and no other errors have been discovered, the issue has yet to be explained.

Prince William County’s Office of Elections didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment Monday night.

EPEC “is urging Virginia’s public election officials to verify scanner machine ballot counts before certification of results in key precincts as a result of recent findings.”

The nonprofit added, “Although the number of ballots impacted was small, the repeated findings raise questions about the origin of the errors and whether the machines were operating correctly.”

  9. nanzi considering another run at speaker? what does she know?
    entire article

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Sunday her congressional colleagues are encouraging her to run for another term as Democratic leader.

Why it matters: The comment is the starkest indication yet that Pelosi is mulling another run for the position she’s held variably as speaker and minority leader for nearly two decades.

What she’s saying: In a CNN “State of the Union” interview, Pelosi said “of course” she will make a decision about re-election to the position before the Democrats’ leadership elections on Nov. 30.

“People are campaigning, and that’s a beautiful thing, and I’m not asking anyone for anything,” Pelosi said, “My members are asking me to consider doing that.”
“Let’s just get through the [2022 midterm] election,” she added.

Between the lines: Whether Democrats keep the majority in the House is expected to have a significant impact on Pelosi’s decision-making.

She is much more likely to stay if she can be the speaker than the House minority leader.
“The Speaker will make an announcement when she makes an announcement,” Pelosi spokesperson Drew Hammill said in a statement. “Until then, let’s all enjoy watching Kevin McCarthy lose a speakership his party hasn’t even won in the first place.”
Asked on Sunday whether McCarthy has what it takes to be speaker, Pelosi said, “No, I don’t think he has it.”

State of play: Roughly 20 House races remain uncalled by the Associated Press as of Sunday. Neither party has reached the 218 seats needed to take the majority.

Democrats would have to win three-quarters of those seats to keep the House — a long shot, but not out of the question.
“They’ve been measuring for draperies. They’ve been putting forth an agenda. They haven’t won it yet,” Pelosi said Sunday.

We were the same – the employees brought the food for BD parties, etc.! I worked a couple of places that routinely had employee get-togethers on Friday afternoons but never anything extravagant. However, all of them had some kind of Christmas party, whether in the office or a real humdinger of a blow-out like we had one year at the SPC. 13. “Potato prices jump 73% in Germany, food inflation rises 40% overall — Potatoes, grain, and milk have all seen massive price increases in the last year”
    November 15, 2022
editor: REMIX NEWS author: JOHN CODY

Entire Article: “Germans are known for their love of the potato to the point that the country’s controversial anti-discrimination commissioner, Ferda Ataman, referred to ethnic Germans as “potatoes” as a slur in February of this year. Now, the price of potatoes has soared 73 percent compared to the previous year, which is one of the steepest increases of any food product at the supermarket.

Overall, the price of food has jumped 40 percent compared to last year, and certain products, such as milk and meat, have risen even more, according to the German Federal Statistical office.

According to the data, the prices for fruits and vegetables increased less than animal products. For example, milk jumped 58 percent while vegetables only increased 28 percent. However, the price of grain rose by 41 percent in September compared to the same month last year. The rising cost of energy and feed have been the main factors driving up the prices of animal products.

One of the bright spots has been a fall in fruit prices, which dropped 4.7 percent compared to last year. Rising inflation has hit German consumers hard. Helmut Schleweis, president of the German Savings Banks Association (DSGV), recently warned that 60 percent of German households, which amounts to 25 million people, are already using their entire monthly income and some savings to keep up with the country’s rising cost of living.

“This means that the loss of prosperity and the consumption of wealth is affecting the middle class,” said Schleweis.”

EXCERPT: “KYIV, Ukraine (AP) — A Russian missile barrage on the Ukrainian power grid sent the war spilling over into neighboring countries Tuesday, hitting NATO member Poland and cutting electricity to much of Moldova. The strikes plunged much of Ukraine into darkness and drew defiance from President Volodymr Zelenskyy, who shook his fist and declared: “We will survive everything.”

It was Russia’s biggest barrage yet, and some of the missiles crossed into Poland, where two people were killed, according to a U.S. official. It marked the first time in the war that Russian weapons have come down on a NATO country.

Polish government spokesman Piotr Mueller did not immediately confirm the information from a senior U.S. intelligence official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitive nature of the situation. A second person confirmed that apparent Russian missiles struck a site in Poland about 15 miles from the Ukrainian border. But Mueller said top leaders were holding an emergency meeting due to a “crisis situation.”

Polish media reported that two people died Tuesday afternoon after a projectile struck an area where grain was drying in Przewodów, a Polish village near the border with Ukraine. Neighboring Moldova was also affected. It reported massive power outages after the strikes knocked out a key power line that supplies the small nation, an official said.

Zelenskyy said Russia fired at least 85 missiles, most of them aimed at the country’s power facilities, and blacked out many cities.”

  17. BOISE, Idaho — Four University of Idaho students found dead in an off-campus home were targeted, and the killer or killers used a knife or other “edged weapon” in the attack, police said Tuesday.

The Moscow Police Department made the announcement in a news release, adding that investigators were working to establish a timeline to recreate the victims’ activities before they were found dead Sunday. Police said the killings likely occurred in the early morning hours, and the bodies were found around noon.

The students’ deaths were considered to be “an isolated, targeted attack and there is no imminent threat to the community at large,” according to police, who earlier said evidence from the scene led them to believe there was no broader risk. Police provided no information about that evidence or why they believe the victims were targeted. Autopsies expected to be completed later this week could provide more information about how the victims were killed.

Investigators were “following all leads and identifying persons of interest” in the case, the news release said. Monday night, police Captain Anthony Dahlinger told the Idaho Statesman that officers were searching for a suspect.

Police discovered the students’ bodies Sunday as they responded to a report of an unconscious person at a home steps away from the campus. The victims were identified as Ethan Chapin, a 20-year-old from Conway, Washington; Madison Mogen, a 21-year-old from Coeur d’Alene, Idaho; Xana Kernodle, 20, from Avondale, Arizona; and Kaylee Goncalves, 21, from Rathdrum, Idaho.
    —————-
Brian Nickerson, the fire chief of the Moscow Volunteer Fire and EMS Department, said police were the first to arrive at the home. The first responders from the fire and EMS department didn’t go inside or transport anyone from the scene, Nickerson said. The city of Moscow is a close-knit college town nestled in the rolling hills of north-central Idaho, about 80 miles (130 kilometers) southeast of Spokane, Washington.

The university said Chapin was a freshman and a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity, and Kernodle was a junior majoring in marketing and a member of the Pi Beta Phi sorority. Mogen was a senior also majoring in marketing and a member of Pi Beta Phi, and Goncalves was a senior majoring in general studies and a member of the Alpha Phi sorority, the university said. The university also had different home town listed for Chapin and Kernodle than the towns listed in the Moscow Police Department release: The school said Chapin was from Mount Vernon, Washington, and Kernodle was from Post Falls, Idaho.”

  18. “Kari Lake ‘Defeat’ Might Not Be Final – Recount ‘Possible’ in Next Few Days”

Entire Article @dailyfetched: “Despite the Arizona gubernatorial election being called on Monday night, Democratic candidate Katie Hobbs’s ‘victory’ may not be final for another few weeks. The race for Arizona Governor was tight between Hobbs Republican candidate Kari Lake, with a possible recount in the next few days.

Meanwhile, a group of citizens in Arizona released a statement calling for an entirely new election. According to The Washington Examiner: ‘A new state law allows a recount to be made in an election if votes are separated by 0.5 percentage points, widening the possibility of a recount from the previous distance of 0.1 percentage points, according to AZ Family.’

Christine Jones, a former congressional candidate said: “If it’s around 10,000 votes, certainly a recount probably won’t result in a change, but if your race is decided by single digits, like mine was, then, of course, you want it to be recounted.”

The outlet continued: ‘Jones ran for the Republican candidacy for Arizona’s 5th District in 2016, losing the primary to Andy Biggs by only 16 votes. Biggs’s razor-thin victory meant that Jones was eligible for a recount, though that recount led to Biggs expanding his lead to a victory of 27 votes, with Jones stating that it was “a lot of effort for that small of a difference.”’

According to Maricopa County’s director of Election Day and emergency voting, Scott Jarrett, automatic recounts can only be initiated after the Secretary of State’s Office begins its canvass on Dec. 5 – meaning the process could drag on until Dec. 30. Jarrett said up to 3 million votes could be cast in Arizona, which means the number of votes needed for an automatic recount would be 15,000 – Axios reported.

Before Hobbs’s victory was declared, the Democrat led the race with over 26,000 votes and one percentage point lead ahead of Lake.

Although Lake gained ground in catching up with her opponent, the margin of victory between the two may not be sufficient for a recount, AZ Central reported.

As Breitbart notes: Lake, a former Fox 10 Phoenix anchor of 22 years whom former President Donald Trump endorsed, looked to be one of the top Republican candidates in the country with her outstanding communication skills and the enthusiasm among her base. Her loss comes after she led in the vast majority of polls that were posted to FiveThirtyEight’s website in the lead-up to the election.”

I was listening to part of Bannon’s program this morning. Ed Henry reports that people have been lining up near Mar-a-Lago for hours. The international press is there. He was told that his crew has to get there by 2:30 or so. This is YUGE. I also expect huge disappointment because people’s hopes and expectations are always set extremely high. I’m just glad Trump is out there fighting for us and that he is willing to lead us.

It’s time for a new party. I don’t care if it’s a losing move. I don’t want to be tied to the GOP anymore.

BREAKING: The House GOP conference just elected Rep. Tom Emmer as their nominee for whip, a RINO with a liberal voting record who was in charge of electing Republicans this cycle as chair of the NRCC over America First fighter @RepJimBanks.

      Unbelievable. Truly unbelievable.

The ongoing COVID-19 nonsense here in the United States exists solely and exclusively because our governments have failed to use the correct treatment. They used so-called “vaccines” when Japan has just proven, in less than ONE MONTH, that Ivermectin can wipe out the disease. IVM was awarded the Nobel prize for medicine in 2015. One of the 3 most important drugs in human history: Aspirin, Penicillin, and Ivermectin. If you want to get Ivermectin you can visit getmeivm.com

  24. so I don’t know how this works…the repubs have mccarthy as their nomination–do the dems also get a nomination? cuz they vote as a block…if they have 210 (just an example) and they promise rinos things to get them to vote for their nominee do we get a dem speaker in a repub majority house?
and by that logic–what is mccarthy going to be promising to get the speakership?

  27. “How the Chinese Academy of Sciences financed & developed Konnech’s subsidiary” — Konnech’s rise from Jinhua Yulian Network to Hongzheng Technology begins on January 25, 2006, when CEO Eugene Yu was accepted into the Chinese Academy of Sciences Jinhua Science and Technology Park.

EXCERPT: “The Konnech story is much bigger than U.S. election software and best understood through the lens of China’s rise into a global superpower. Regardless of the actions of federal law enforcement or county prosecutors, many of the facts of this case are archived on deleted Chinese government websites, waiting to be uncovered by those who are willing to look. What is the truth about Konnech’s connection to China?

In 2019, the United States Senate released a report entitled Threats to the U.S. Research Enterprise: China’s Talent Recruitment Plans that explains how China’s more than 200 overseas talent recruitment plans—the most prominent of which is the Thousand Talents Plan—has contributed to China’s global rise over the last 20 years.

During that time, China openly recruited U.S.-based researchers, scientists, and entrepreneurs in the public and private sector to provide China with knowledge and intellectual capital in exchange for monetary gain and other benefits.

China provides salaries, research funding, office space, and other incentives to lure overseas talents into working for China. According to an analysis by the FBI, China invested more than $2 trillion between 2008 and 2020 into human resources as part of this “whole-of-government campaign to recruit talent and foreign experts from around the world.”

  28. EXCERPT: “House Republicans elected Minority Whip Steve Scalise (R-LA) on Tuesday to serve as majority leader in the next Congress in anticipation that Republicans will narrowly clinch the chamber majority.

Unlike elections for some of the other top leadership positions, Scalise ran unopposed for the position and was elected via a voice vote rather than a secret ballot during the House Republican Conference’s closed-door elections on Capitol Hill.

Scalise, who has served in office for 14 years, said in a statement he was “humbled” to be chosen by his colleagues, and he vowed to pursue a congressional agenda focused on fighting inflation, border control, and crime.

“We will get to work preparing an agenda that is focused on the struggles hardworking families are facing, including passing bills through the House to reduce inflation, lower energy costs, secure the border, and help law enforcement officers get the tools they need to keep our communities safe from rampant crime,” Scalise said.”

EXCERPT: “SINAI, Egypt — Leaders of various religions and religious organizations gathered to repent of their alleged “climate” sins and usher in what they described as a new, universal “Ten Commandments.” Gathered in Sharm El Sheik and cities around the world amid the United Nations COP27 Climate Change Summit in Egypt, representatives of major Christian and Islamic denominations joined forces with all manner of pagans and heathens to unveil what they hope will be the new and improved moral code of the future.

After worldwide criticism, the new Ten Commandments were re-framed as “Ten Principles of Climate Repentance.” Critics still ridiculed the movement, joking that these religious leaders were hitching their wagons to what many scientists and experts have referred to as the discredited climate “religion” or even “cult.” But the events and the move toward a united global religious movement organized around “Mother Earth” are no laughing matter.

The bizarre ceremonies, organized by the “Interfaith Center for Sustainable Development” (ICSD), were originally scheduled to take place at Mount Sinai on Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula, near the Red Sea resort town of Sharm El Sheik as the UN climate summit takes place nearby. While some of the religious antics took place on the Sinai Peninsula, many of the festivities were held in London and Jerusalem after security concerns reportedly led Egyptian authorities to withhold permission for the original plan.

A key organizer of the global call for climate “repentance,” Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew — dubbed the “Green Patriarch” — issued a public statement denouncing the “abuse of nature and the exploitation of its resources” as a “sin against God … and the gift of creation.” In a press release about the effort, organizers said they hoped it “will inspire the people to act modestly and carry out actions for climate justice.”

The new ten commandments were listed as:

We are stewards of this world
    Creation manifests divinity
    Everything in life is interconnected
    Do no harm
    Look after tomorrow
Rise above ego for our world
    Change our inner climate
    Repent and return
    Every action matters
    Use mind, open heart

Another one of the ringleaders of the events, Interfaith Center for Sustainable Development boss Rabbi Yonatan Neril, rejected the idea that “religion” and “ecology” are separate and distinct from each other. “Many people fear that humans have irrevocably destroyed the ecology of ‘Eden’ on earth,” Rabbi Neril was quoted as saying in media reports, totally misrepresenting the Hebrew Scriptures found in Genesis. “But God created the world out of love for life on earth.”
