With the holidays fast approaching, I found an amazing diet designed to help you de-stress…and these days, who couldn’t use that??

Sample Menu

Breakfast

½ grapefruit

1 slice whole wheat toast-dab of butter

8 oz skim milk

Lunch

4 oz lean broiled chicken breast

1 cup steamed spinach

1 cup iced tea (no sugar)

1 Oreo cookie

Mid Afternoon Snack

The rest of the Oreos in the package

2 pints Rocky Road ice cream

Nuts, cherries, whipped cream

1 jar hot fudge sauce

Dinner

2 loaves garlic bread

4 cans lite beer or diet soda

1 large sausage, mushroom and cheese pizza

3 Snickers bars

Evening snack

Sara Lee cheesecake (eaten directly from the freezer)

Rules for this diet:

  1. If you eat something and no one sees you eat it, it has no calories.
  2. If you drink a diet soda with a candy bar, the calories in the candy car are canceled out by the diet soda.
  3. When you eat with someone, calories don’t count if you don’t eat more than they do.
  4. Food used for medicinal purposes NEVER count, such as hot chocolate, brandy, toast, and, of course, Sara Lee Cheesecake.
  5. If you fatten everyone around you, you will look thinner.
  6. Movie related foods do not add calories because they are part of the entertainment package.  Examples: Milk Duds, Red Hots, Tootsie Rolls and Red Vines
  7. Cookie pieces contain no calories.  The breaking process causes calories to leak out.
  8. Things licked off knives and spoons have no calories if you are in the process of cooking something.
  9. Foods that have the same color have the same number of calories. Examples: spinach and pistachio ice cream; mushrooms and mashed potatoes.
  10. Chocolate is a universal color and may be substituted for any other food color.
  11. Anything consumed while standing has no calories.  This is due to gravity and the density of the caloric mass.
  12. Anything consumed from someone else’s plate has no calories since the calories rightfully belong to the other person and will cling to his plate.  (We all know calories like to cling!)

REMEMBER: STRESSED spelled backwards is DESSERTS!

            1. Saw a dead doe on the side of the road today. For the next several months, it is time to stay on my toes when I’m driving. The fact that I pretty much never drive after dark or that early in the morning, I’m pretty safe. Saw a dead skunk, too.

    “The Dossier has obtained the “digital tool” that at least one branch of the U.S. military has been using to mass-deny soldiers who apply for an exemption to the Pentagon’s unlawful Covid-19 injection mandate.

    This system, known as the “Religious Accommodations Appeal Generator” (RAGG), has been used by the Coast Guard to strike down nearly 99% of exemption requests, utilized specifically to enforce the Pentagon’s unlawful mRNA mandate. The collective sorting computer tool was implemented despite the fact that federal laws and Pentagon policies require every religious exemption application to be treated on an individualized basis.

    While the U.S. Coast Guard is supposed to be providing an “individualized look,” the system is being utilized to swiftly deny the prospect for exemptions from the mRNA drugs, which carry an increasing worrisome side effect profile. The Florida Department of Health recently released a study showing that the mRNA shots carry significant risks specifically for fighting age males.

    Nonetheless, the Coast Guard has maintained a stunning a near 99% denial rate in response to exemption requests. The RAGG is used to sort and then generate a blanket response to arguments against receiving the injections. This response would then appear in a dismissal letter “explaining” the exemption denial.

    As shown below, the maritime security service sorted common arguments into certain categories. Some rejection worthy arguments (according to the Coast Guard) included:

    “Risk of death is minimal. Only .03% death rate in DOD.”
    “Risk of harm from the vaccine undermines readiness interest.”
    “Vaccinated but unboosted members create similar risk from Omicron.”





    On October 18, House Oversight Committee Republicans published a letter to the Pentagon requesting answers about the exemption denial tool.

      1. I’m back! Man, that sucks!!! I can’t tell you how many hours I have spent doing shit like that. And there is one sound I have been trying to figure out since I bought this danged place! There is a ticking noise that I hear every night in bed but I can’t for the life of me figure out what it is!!! Almost like a slow drip of water, but there IS no water there and I’ve looked several times in the crawl space – nada!

              can’t be the walls. they are solid logs. when we ordered our house “kit” we had to predetermine where the outlets would be so holes could be drilled in the numbered logs to allow the running of wires–same with pipes. the ceiling is cathedral with a metal roof–no spaces there either…it’s creepy!

    With inflation, prices are up pretty much across the board, but if you’re looking for a new gun for recreation or self-defense, here’s a hint: the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) is offering them at an absolute steal. Seriously, the federal agency tasked with enforcing firearms regulations has such poor security that thousands of guns and gun parts once in its possession disappeared in the hands of thieves. And it has yet to fully implement recommended reforms.

    “Since September 2015, the ATF has utilized the National Disposal Branch (NDB), formerly the National Firearms and Ammunition Destruction (NFAD) Branch, to centralize and streamline the disposal process of forfeited and ATF-owned firearms. Each year, the ATF destroys thousands of firearms at the NDB,” the U.S. Justice Department’s Inspector General noted in announcing a recent report. “The DOJ Office of the Inspector General (OIG) undertook this audit following the discovery that thousands of firearms, firearm parts, and ammunition had been stolen from NFAD from 2016 to 2019.”

    So, for three years, the agency that enforces every petty and intrusive federal regulation regarding firearms (as well as alcohol, tobacco, and explosives) let its own security personnel (“a DHS contract security guard was convicted in connection with these thefts”) pilfer its inventory.

    Strictly speaking, the report isn’t about the thefts themselves, which were discovered by accident during a traffic stop. The recent report delved into the ATF’s progress in implementing anything resembling the security procedures it requires of the private gun dealers it oversees—or maybe just something more challenging than leaving “intact weapons … in unsecured boxes and unlocked containers.” So, how is the ATF doing at storing firearms at least as securely as you might expect of private businesses?

    “The ATF has implemented several new control procedures to reduce the risk of firearm thefts,” the report found. “However, the ATF has not implemented all improvements to NDB operations recommended over three years ago.”

    Among other challenges, even well after the disposal facility was identified as a grab-bag for the firearms black market (the convicted security guard, Christopher Lee Yates, sold what he stole), the Inspector General “identified several ATF policies regarding firearm storage and evidence tracking with which the NDB is not in compliance.” Of course, implementing new security measures doesn’t matter much when “staff does not consistently adhere to established operating procedures in place to mitigate the risk of firearms being lost or stolen. Specifically, we observed, in the NDB facility surveillance footage, staff occasionally circumventing controls pertaining to facility and vault access solely for the sake of convenience.”

    Staff stored guns on top of vaults instead of inside them, left keys lying around, propped exterior doors open, didn’t sign people in and out, and otherwise engaged in more sloppiness than you might expect of people who had already been caught with their pants down and were told to tighten things up. Then again, government workers aren’t generally held to the same standards as the private sector.

    Disney just went full-on “gender.” They will no longer welcome guests with the traditional “Welcome ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls” Why? Because 1% of the population dictates to the other 99% (that would be the vast majority) and corporate America falls for it. Regardless of what you think, less than 20% of Americans use “Twitter” yet Twitter controls 80% of public opinion, why? The MEDIA!

  41. I think today just might be our last hurrah for the summer….it is GORGEOUS outside, altho getting a bit windier – still, a nice breeze right now. 85 on the patio! But tomorrow it’s going to get windier and cooler, then into the mid 30’s at night….after that, highs in the 30’s and lows in the 20’s!!!! Then some clouds possible so it is within the realm of possibility – highly unlikely – we could get a snow shower. That would have to be the earliest, were it to happen!

    The qualifications for the position make it quite clear that the Ombuds is not merely to be an impartial disseminator of information but an advocate for all manner of perversion. In addition to having “expertise in sexual and reproductive health,” the Ombuds must also possess “demonstrated commitment to the provision of specified health services, including abortion and the care of LGBTQ+ individuals.” In short, anyone who opposes abortion-on-demand, believes that the homosexual lifestyle is detrimental to a person’s health, or has any trepidations about permanently altering “transgender” children’s bodies need not apply.

    The first job of the Ombuds is “to educate the public on specified health care services, including by making evidence-based, medically accurate educational materials available to the public.” The bill later defines “specified health care services” as “evidence-based, medically accurate medical, surgical, counseling, or referral services relating to reproductive and sexual health, including services relating to pregnancy and the termination of a pregnancy.”

    As a corollary to this function, the Ombuds is also charged with “collect[ing] information regarding, and … address[ing], reproductive and sexual health misinformation being disseminated to the public.” That, according to the bill, “includes any information relating to reproductive and sexual health that is not evidence based or medically accurate, including inaccuracy in the provision of any related services.”

    In other words, the same people whose idea of “evidence based” and “medically accurate” information concerning Covid-19 included such things as wearing cloth masks, social distancing, closing schools and churches, forbidding people to leave their homes, and using the entire population as guinea pigs in a deadly “vaccine” experiment — those who, as one UN official put it, “own the science” — will now be in charge of deciding what qualifies as accurate information regarding abortion, sexual health, and gender “transitioning.”

    These same individuals will also determine what qualifies as “misinformation” regarding these topics. Once again, the people who told us that the coronavirus couldn’t possibly have leaked from a Chinese laboratory, that the vaccines are perfectly safe and prevent infection and transmission, and that anyone who disagreed with their policies was a “science denier” will, under this bill, have the authority to tell us which statements regarding abortion and other topics are false.

    Moreover, given the Left’s proclivity for silencing its critics, one can be relatively certain that the government will act on the Ombuds’ “misinformation” findings in ways detrimental to free speech and debate. Earlier this year, for example, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) created a “Disinformation Governance Board” to monitor alleged falsehoods in the runup to the midterm elections. Although that plan was officially put on hold after intense public resistance, its work continues apace, albeit out of public view, documents leaked to The Intercept revealed.

    “Since the Supreme Court stuck [sic] down Roe v. Wade and gave states the right to regulate abortion in June,” observed Fox News, “Democrats have been looking for ways to help steer people to abortion services in states with fewer restrictions on the procedure.” To that end, the Ombuds would also “disseminate information about how individuals can connect with … abortion funds” and “other clinics that provide specified health care services.” In addition, the official would “provide the public with … information regarding medication abortions conducted outside formal medical settings.”

    Williams’ bill is, of course, in its earliest stages, and it may well disappear without a trace like dozens of other bills introduced every legislative session. But given the zeal for such matters among Democrats, which will only intensify if they lose control of one or both chambers of Congress next week, don’t be surprised if it ends up on the fast track to the president’s desk.”
