When Life Hands You Lemons…

Lemons are not just for lemonade!  They can be used in a variety of places for cleaning and deodorizing, and they even have some medicinal uses you may not be familiar with!

Freshen the Fridge
Remove refrigerator odors with ease. Dab lemon juice on a cotton ball or sponge and leave it in the fridge for several hours to absorb odors. Make sure to toss out any stinky items that might be causing the bad smell and improve the effectiveness of the lemon juice.

High Blood Pressure
Squeeze half a lemon into a glass of water and drink three to four times per day to lower your blood pressure. For best results, you can squeeze the lemon into a warm cup of water and drink it first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. Drinking the lemon water can reduce the effect of nausea and dizziness.

Prevent Cauliflower from Turning Brown
Cauliflower tends to turn brown with even the slightest cooking. You can make sure the white vegetables stay white by squeezing a teaspoon of fresh lemon juice on them before heating.

Refresh Cutting Boards
No wonder your kitchen cutting board smells! After all, you use it to chop onions, crush garlic, and prepare fish. To get rid of the smell and help sanitize the cutting board, rub it all over with the cut side of half a lemon or wash it in undiluted juice straight from the bottle.

Respiratory Problems
Lemon water can reduce phlegm; and can also help you breathe properly and aids a person suffering with asthma. The vitamin C in lemons can also help with long-term respiratory disorders.

Prevents Kidney Stones
Regular consumption of lemon juice mixed with water may increase the production of urinary citrate, a chemical in the urine that prevents the formation of crystals that may build up into kidney stones.

Keep Insects Out of the Kitchen
You don’t need insecticides or ant traps to ant-proof your kitchen. Just give it the lemon treatment. First squirt some lemon juice on door thresholds and windowsills. Then squeeze lemon juice into any holes or cracks where the ants are getting in. Finally, scatter small slices of lemon peel around the outdoor entrance. The ants will get the message that they aren’t welcome. Lemons are also effective against roaches and fleas: Simply mix the juice of 4 lemons (along with the rinds) with 1/2 gallon (2 liters) water and wash your floors with it; then watch the fleas and roaches flee. They hate the smell.

Fruit and Vegetable Wash
You never know what kind of pesticides or dirt may be lurking on the skin of your favorite fruits and vegetables. Slice your lemon and squeeze out one tablespoon of lemon juice into your spray bottle. The lemon juice is a natural disinfectant and will leave your fruits and vegetables smelling nice too.

Treat Infections
Lemon water can fight throat infections thanks to its antibacterial property. If salt water does not work for you, try lemon and water for gargling.

Deodorize Your Garbage
If your garbage is beginning to smell yucky, here’s an easy way to deodorize it: Save leftover lemon and orange peels and toss them at the base under the bag. To keep it smelling fresh, repeat once every couple of weeks.

Keep Guacamole Green
You’ve been making guacamole all day long for the big party, and you don’t want it to turn brown on top before the guests arrive. The solution: Sprinkle a liberal amount of fresh lemon juice over it and it will stay fresh and green. The flavor of the lemon juice is a natural complement to the avocados in the guacamole. Make the fruit salad hours in advance too. Just squeeze some lemon juice onto the apple slices, and they’ll stay snowy white.

Make Soggy Lettuce Crisp
Don’t toss that soggy lettuce into the garbage. With the help of a little lemon juice you can toss it in a salad instead. Add the juice of half a lemon to a bowl of cold water. Then put the soggy lettuce in it and refrigerate for 1 hour. Make sure to dry the leaves completely before putting them into salads or sandwiches.

Oral Health
Lemon juice can relieve pain from toothaches, stop bleeding gums, and eliminate bad odors caused by gum diseases or conditions. Massage lemon juice on bleeding gums or directly onto the area of the toothache. If the acidity from the lemon begins to burn in your mouth, be sure to rinse your gums and mouth quickly with water.

Lighten Age Spots
Why buy expensive creams when you’ve got lemon juice? To lighten liver spots or freckles, try applying lemon juice directly to the area. Let it sit for 15 minutes and then rinse your skin clean. It’s a safe and effective skin-lightening agent.

Create Blonde Highlights
For salon-worthy highlights, add 1/4 cup lemon juice to 3/4 cup water and rinse your hair with the mixture. Then, sit in the sun until your hair dries. To maximize the effect, repeat once daily for up to a week.

Make a Room Scent/Humidifier
Freshen and moisturize the air in your home on dry winter days. Make your own room scent that also doubles as a humidifier. If you have a wood-burning stove, place an enameled cast-iron pot or bowl on top, fill with water, and add lemon (and/or orange) peels, cinnamon sticks, cloves, and apple skins. No wood-burning stove? Use your stovetop instead and just simmer the water periodically.

Clean and Whiten Nails
Pamper your hands without a manicurist. Add the juice of 1/2 lemon to 1 cup warm water and soak your fingertips in the mixture for 5 minutes. After pushing back the cuticles, rub some lemon peel back and forth against the nail.

Cleanse Your Face
Zap zits naturally by dabbing lemon juice on blackheads to draw them out during the day. You can also wash your face with lemon juice for a natural cleanse and exfoliation. Your skin should improve after several days of treatment. Lemon water is also a cooling agent, best way to beat the heat.

Freshen Your Breath
Make an impromptu mouthwash by rinsing with lemon juice straight from the bottle. Swallow for longer-lasting fresh breath. The citric acid in the juice alters the pH level in your mouth, killing bacteria that causes bad breath. Rinse after a few minutes because long-term exposure to the acid in lemons can harm tooth enamel.

Treat Flaky Dandruff
If itchy, scaly dandruff has you scratching your head, relief may be no farther away than your refrigerator. Just massage two tablespoons lemon juice into your scalp and rinse with water. Then stir one teaspoon lemon juice into one cup water and rinse your hair with it. Repeat daily until your dandruff disappears.

Get Rid of Tough Stains on Marble
You probably think of marble as stone, but it is really petrified calcium (also known as old seashells). That explains why it is so porous and easily stained and damaged. Those stains can be hard to remove. If washing won’t remove a stubborn stain, try this: Cut a lemon in half, dip the exposed flesh into some table salt, and rub it vigorously on the stain. But do this only as a last resort; acid can damage marble. Rinse well.

Remove Berry Stains
It sure was fun to pick your own berries, but now your fingers are stained with berry juice that won’t come off no matter how much you scrub with soap and water. Try washing your hands with undiluted lemon juice, then wait a few minutes and wash with warm, soapy water. Repeat until your hands are stain-free.

Soften Dry, Scaly Elbows
Itchy elbows are bad enough, but they look terrible too. For better looking (and feeling) elbows, mix baking soda and lemon juice to make an abrasive paste, then rub it into your elbows for a soothing, smoothing, and exfoliating treatment. Rinse your extremities in a mixture of equal parts lemon juice and water, then massage with olive oil and dab dry with a soft cloth.

Lemon juice with a few teaspoons of hot tea added is the treatment of a sophisticated New York bartender, for those who suffer with hangover headaches–and from headaches due to many other causes. He converts his customers to this regimen, and weans them away from drug remedies completely.

Disinfect Cuts and Scrapes
Stop bleeding and disinfect minor cuts and scrapes by pouring a few drops of lemon juice directly on the cut. You can also apply the juice with a cotton ball and hold firmly in place for one minute.

Soothe Poison Ivy Rash
You won’t need an ocean of calamine lotion the next time poison ivy comes a-creeping. Just apply lemon juice directly to the affected area to soothe itching and alleviate the rash.

Remove Warts
You’ve tried countless remedies to banish warts and nothing seems to work. Next time, apply a dab of lemon juice directly to the wart using a cotton swab. Repeat for several days until the acids in the lemon juice dissolve the wart completely.

Bleach Delicate Fabrics
Avoid additional bleach stains by swapping ordinary household chlorine bleach with lemon juice, which is milder but no less effective. Soak your delicates in a mixture of lemon juice and baking soda for at least half an hour before washing.

Clean Tarnished Brass and Polish Chrome
Say good-bye to tarnish on brass, copper, or stainless steel. Make a paste of lemon juice and salt (or substitute baking soda or cream of tartar for the salt) and coat the affected area. Let it stay on for 5 minutes. Then wash in warm water, rinse, and polish dry. Use the same mixture to clean metal kitchen sinks too. Apply the paste, scrub gently, and rinse. Get rid of mineral deposits and polish chrome faucets and other tarnished chrome. Simply rub lemon rind over the chrome and watch it shine! Rinse well and dry with a soft cloth.

Boost Laundry Detergent
For more powerful cleaning action, pour 1 cup lemon juice into the washer during the wash cycle. The natural bleaching action of the juice will zap stains and remove rust and mineral discolorations from cotton T-shirts and briefs and will leave your clothes smelling fresh. Your clothes will turn out brighter and also come out smelling lemon-fresh.

Eliminate Fireplace Odor
There’s nothing cozier on a cold winter night than a warm fire burning in the fireplace, unless the fire happens to smell horrible. Next time you have a fire that sends a stench into the room, try throwing a few lemon peels into the flames. You can also burn some lemon peels along with your firewood as a preventive measure.

Neutralize Cat-Box Odor
You don’t have to use an aerosol spray to neutralize foul-smelling cat-box odors or freshen the air in your bathroom. Just cut a couple of lemons in half. Then place them, cut side up, in a dish in the room, and the air will soon smell lemon-fresh.

Deodorize a Humidifier
When your humidifier starts to smell funky, deodorize it with ease: Just pour 3 or 4 teaspoons lemon juice into the water. It will not only remove the off odor but will replace it with a lemon-fresh fragrance. Repeat every couple of weeks to keep the odor from returning.

  2. imagine how much more damage 87,000 MORE of them will do?

The Internal Revenue Service accidentally sent out $1.1 billion in advanced child tax credits, meant for lower to middle-income families, to 1.5 million taxpayers who should not have received them last year.

The agency also failed to distribute $3.7 billion in tax credits to 4.1 million eligible households, the results of a Treasury Department audit released Tuesday showed.

    J. Russell George, the Treasury Department’s inspector general for tax administration, claimed that the IRS mishandled billions in funds between July and December 2021 due to a change in refund payments from annually to monthly.

The change in payment distribution was part of President Joe Biden’s $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan Act, which included a one-year increase of the tax credit to $3,600 for each child six and up and $3,000 for each one aged six through 17.

According to the inspector general, his office made five recommendations to the IRS on how to better implement tax credit payments in the future, including: “prevent taxpayers from receiving additional improper advance Child Tax Credit payments, inform taxpayers of the possibility that their advance payments may have been sent to other accounts the taxpayers may own, and validate incoming files from third-party sources prior to their use.”

The IRS reportedly agreed to all five recommendations and has either already enacted the changes or plans to in the near future.

News of the incident comes after Congress approved roughly $80 billion in new funding to the tax enforcement agency through the Biden administration’s “Inflation Reduction Act,” which could increase its workforce by almost 87,000.

Earlier this month, the IRS admitted to mistakenly releasing the personal information online of close to 120,000 taxpayers who filed a 990-T form in their tax returns.

Although the leak temporarily exposed the names, contact information, and reported income of those affected, social security numbers were reportedly not exposed, The Wall Street Journal reported.

  3. dems postpone their FINALE of the j6 hearings–due ti hurricane ian–or so they say–but it’s probably because they have low viewership and want something big to air before november
“In light of Hurricane Ian bearing down on parts of Florida, we have decided to postpone tomorrow’s proceedings,” said Chairman Rep. Bennie Thompson, D-Miss., and Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., who vice-chairs the committee. We’re praying for the safety of all those in the storm’s path.”

No new date has been announced.

It is customary to postpone live entertainment shows following natural disasters, as a mark of respect to those suffering.

But the hurricane hasn’t hit Florida yet. Florida is almost 900 miles away from Washington D.C. where the hearing is to take place. Most importantly, the trial is not an entertainment show.

The Democrats claim the hearings have been conducted in defense of democracy and the Constitution.

Why then would they postpone an event of such monumental importance?

Why couldn’t they have their hearing but begin with a somber message in support of Floridians?

There are two main reasons for this postponement:

The first reason is the media and the nation will soon be totally focused on the hurricane in Florida, i.e., their hearings will receive no media traction.

This is a media trial, and if the media is unable to cover it and amplify its misinformation, it is meaningless.

The second reason is that it gives them an excuse to hold their hearing just before the midterms in November. They hope the claims are fresh in the minds of voters to inflict maximum damage to the GOP.

The Washington Post revealed the ulterior motives of the committee:

“They’ll attempt to do so this spring through public hearings, along with a potential interim report and a final report that will be published ahead of the November midterms — with the findings likely a key part of the Democrat’s midterm strategy. They hope their recommendations to prevent another insurrection will be adopted, but also that their work will repel voters from Republicans who they say helped propel the attack.”

    1. I read something yesterday about them postponing it because they’ve gotten some “new” video which is evidence they need to “develop” before proceeding. IDR where I read it, tho, since I was ALL over the place yesterday!

    2. And, of course I can’t find it now….but Heavy.com wonders, too. Oh, yeah – this reminded me – they have inside video of Roger Stone planning how to keep the electors from being certified.

EXCERPT: “The House select committee investigating Jan. 6, 2021, was gearing up to hold what is likely to be its last hearing ahead of its final report. The hearings were scheduled to resume today, Wednesday, September 28, 2022, according to the committee’s schedule. But it has been postponed. Why?

The committee’s schedule simply says the hearing was postponed, but major news outlets are reporting that the reason for the delay is Hurricane Ian. It was headed toward Florida when the committee’s chairman, Democratic Rep. Bennie Thompson of Mississippi, and vice chairwoman, Republican Rep. Liz Cheney of Wyoming, made the announcement, according to CNN.
Democratic Rep. Stephanie Murphy, who is one of the nine committee members, represents a district that includes parts of Orlando, according to CNN. The news outlet reported before the announcement that she may have been unable to attend. The committee did not immediately announce a new date for the rescheduled hearing.

The committee is keeping the details of what it will present secret, including the names of key witnesses, CNN reported. Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff of California told CNN that this hearing, like past hearings, will be thematic. But he said he expects the evidence presented to be “more sweeping” than in previous hearings.
The Hearing Will Include New Footage From the Events of Jan. 6, 2021

  4. Speaking of handy uses for common items…..I’ve had an issue recently with gnats in my kitchen so I looked on-line. Turns out they will congregate in your drains – one of the solutions was to pour about 1/2 cup of hydrogen peroxide down the drains. Of course it foams up and will kill the gnats themselves as well as their eggs. Well, I always have that on hand – I have for years since I used it for gingivitis as well as on my leg. I tried it and – voila! No more gnats!!!

  5. Fulton County Sues Dominion Voting Systems!
Was someone in Canada running Fulton County’s elections?

    Emerald Robinson

On September 20th, Fulton County (PA) filed a lawsuit against Dominion Voting Systems for breach of contract and breach of warrant. Need I tell you, dear reader, that America’s corrupt corporate media ignored this landmark lawsuit? Here’s page 13 of Fulton County’s 29-page lawsuit (read it here) and it’s a killer for electronic voting machines in America.

It’s a very simple and very effective argument: if the Halderman Declaration is accurate (and neither the federal government’s cybersecurity agency nor Dominion Voting Systems have claimed otherwise) then Dominion Voting Systems could not have delivered properly certified machines according to the contract.

The Federal government’s own cybersecurity agency CISA has already conceded that the Halderman Declaration is accurate because it has issued a warning bulletin to county election officials who use Dominion Voting machines about nine major vulnerabilities that can be exploited.

Fulton County hired another company called Wake TSI to review the Dominion machines, and Wake TSI delivered a report in February 2021 that showed five key issues:

    1. There were errors in the ballot scanning.
    2. There was a failure of Dominion Voting to meet Commonwealth Certification requirements.
    3. There were non-certified database tools installed on the Dominion Voting System.
    4. There were changes made to EMS three weeks before the 2020 election.
    5. There was a lack of commonwealth L&A inspections of the Dominion Voting Systems.

A few months later in 2021, the the Secretary of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania decertified the Dominion Voting System machines in Fulton County, “purportedly because Fulton County had used ‘a third-party consultant’ to inspect its electronic voting devices as part of Fulton County’s inquiry into the integrity of the system’s performance during the 2020 election.”

So Fulton County sued the Secretary of the Commonwealth and challenged the decertification of Dominion voting machines in August, 2021 — that’s Case No. 277 MD 2021 if you’re interested.

That particular lawsuit maintains that the Secretary unlawfully decertified Fulton County’s two electronic voting machines; that the Pennsylvania Election Code authorized the County to inspect its electronic voting devices as part of its statutory duty to ensure the safe and honest conduct of elections; that the Secretary tried to prohibit all county boards of elections from inspecting their electronic voting devices with the assistance of a third-party consultant and that such a prohibition violates Section 302 of the Election Code, 25 P.S. §2642; and that the Secretary unlawfully withheld funding from the County that it needs to acquire replacement electronic voting devices.

In January of 2022, Fulton County stopped using Dominion Voting Systems and contracted with another provider. How did Dominion Voting Systems respond? Dominion sought to “intervene” by claiming that it was intervening “for the limited purpose of securing a protective order to enforce the terms of its contract” with Fulton County.

In other words, Dominion wanted to force Fulton County to use its machines even while Fulton County was suing them for breach of contract! Does that sound like the behavior of a third-party vendor and a private company — or more like the behavior of a much more powerful entity pretending to be a third-party vendor and a private company?

Fulton County chose to hire another independent company called Speckin Forensics to analyze six hard drives from the Dominion machines, and those findings are contained in a September 2022 Report that is devastating for Dominion Voting Systems.

That unauthorized “python script” was installed after the certification date of the system — and “[t]his python script can exploit and create any number of vulnerabilities including, external access to the system, data export of the tabulations, or introduction of other metrics not part of or allowed by the certification process.”

The September Report also found an “external IP address that is associated with Canada” in the workstation which shows “that at least one of the network devices has
connected to an external device on an external network.”

Here’s the smoking gun: “This was the same device that the post-certification python script was found on.”

There’s also a high probability that someone in Canada was running Fulton County’s elections remotely. “The log files for the Adjudication device showed an IP address of, which derives from a location in Quebec, Canada and that this revealed a serious issue to be connected remotely to a Canadian system.”

    1. OK, I’ve got a question…..”….and contracted with another provider.” And WHO might that other provider be? Perhaps ES&S?

From Wiki: “ES&S acquired Premier Election Solutions (formerly known as Diebold Election Systems) on September 3, 2009.[17][20] Following the acquisition, the Department of Justice and 14 individual states launched investigations into the transaction on antitrust grounds.[21] In March 2010, the Department of Justice filed a civil antitrust lawsuit against ES&S, requiring it to divest voting equipment systems assets it purchased in September 2009 from Premier Election Solutions in order to restore competition.[22] The company later sold the assets to Dominion Voting Systems.[23]

      Recent ownership

In June 2019, ES&S was wholly owned by “Government Systems, Software & Services, Inc,” of which “McCarthy Group. LLC” held a controlling ownership, and shares over 5% each were held by Tom Burt and Tom O’Brien. Shares over 5% of McCarthy Group in turn were owned by passive investors Nancy McCarthy and Kenneth Stinson.[24] Burt is president/CEO of ES&S, and O’Brien is vice president/CFO.[25]”
Of course, Government Systems, Software & Services was incorporated in Delaware! SMDH

EXCERPT from NBC 2019 article: “OMAHA, Neb. — Just off a bustling interstate near the border between Nebraska and Iowa, a 2,800-square-foot American flag flies over the squat office park that is home to Election Systems & Software LLC.

The nondescript name and building match the relative anonymity of the company, more commonly known as ES&S, which has operated in obscurity for years despite its central role in U.S. elections. Nearly half of all Americans who vote in the 2020 election will use one of its devices.

That’s starting to change. A new level of scrutiny of the election system, spurred by Russia’s interference in the 2016 election, has put ES&S in the political spotlight. The source of the nation’s voting machines has become an urgent issue because of real fears that hackers, whether foreign or domestic, might tamper with the mechanics of the voting system.

That has led to calls for ES&S and its competitors, Denver-based Dominion Voting Systems and Austin, Texas-based Hart Intercivic, to reveal details about their ownership and the origins of the parts, some of which come from China, that make up their machines.

But ES&S still faces questions about the company’s supply chain and the identities of its investors, although it has said it is entirely owned by Americans. And the results of its government penetration tests, in which authorized hackers try to break in so vulnerabilities can be identified and fixed, have yet to be revealed.
ES&S invited NBC News journalists into its headquarters, the first time it has done so for a national news organization. The walls were decorated with images of the Constitution and inspirational messages about quality control. In glass-walled rooms etched with the company’s patents, technicians tested machines under tight security.

Burt, a native Nebraskan, has called for federal regulations that would require voting machine companies to address some of the key questions posed to ES&S. In June, he wrote an op-ed asking Congress for more regulation, which would include requirements for paper backups of individual votes, mandatory post-election audits and more resources for the U.S. Election Assistance Commission to speed improvements.

CEO Tom Burt talks with McFadden

NBC News examined publicly available online shipping records for ES&S for the past five years and found that many parts, including electronics and tablets, were made in China and the Philippines, raising concerns about technology theft or sabotage.

During the tour, Burt said the overseas facilities are “very secure.” He said the final assembly of voting machines takes place in the U.S.

Chinese manufacturers can be forced to cooperate with requests from Chinese intelligence officials to share any information about the technology and therefore pose a risk for U.S. companies, NBC News analyst Frank Figliuzzi, a former assistant director of the FBI for counterintelligence, said. That could include intellectual property, such as source code, materials or blueprints. There is also the concern of machines shipped with undetected vulnerabilities or backdoors that could allow tampering.”

  6. ultra maggot tries introducing dead congresswoman at event
    entire article
Joe Biden’s questionable mental state has come to the forefront again as he tries to find and introduce the recently deceased Rep. Jackie Walorski of Indiana in the audience at a White House event.

Jackie Walorski tragically died in a car accident in August. Biden released this statement at that time:

Weeks later, Biden seems to have forgotten the conservative congresswoman has passed away.

You might think it’s a different Jackie, and I’m sure someone will try to spin it that way (the White House is probably desperately searching for other women named Jackie in the audience), but this event is directly connected to Walorski’s work in Congress. She would have been there if not for her accident.

The President of the United States has ZERO clue what’s going on around him. It’s not only embarrassing, it’s dangerous.

  7. Entire Article @ DC: “Oklahoma Children’s Hospital will stop performing “certain gender medicine services” on minors, OU Health told the Daily Caller in a statement Tuesday.

The hospital, which is part of the Oklahoma University (OU) Health system, provides a wide range of adolescent medical services, including for sexuality and gender identity issues, according to the Oklahoma Children’s Hospital website. However OU Health told the Daily Caller the current gender program is facing cuts to its available services.

“The OU Health Senior Leadership team is proactively planning the ceasing of certain gender medicine services across our facilities and that plan is already under development,” OU Health said in the statement.

The Oklahoma House of Representatives added restrictions on Monday to special session legislation that would prevent Oklahoma Children’s Hospital from performing gender surgeries on minors at any of its locations. The Oklahoma House Conference Committee approved a new version of Oklahoma bill HB1007 on Monday that would restrict the hospital’s ability to perform some gender services, including hormone therapy and sex reassignment surgeries on minors, according to the bill.

The bill’s new version prevents OU Health from using any of the $39.4 million the hospital’s new mental and behavioral health facility is set to receive from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) “for the benefit of any facility owned by the University Hospitals Authority or University Hospitals Trust performing ‘gender reassignment medical treatment’ … on children under eighteen (18) years of age.”

These treatments include “interventions to suppress the development of endogenous secondary sex characteristics … interventions to align the patient’s appearance or physical body with the patient’s gender identity, and … medical therapies and medical interventions used to treat gender dysphoria,” the bill states.

Oklahoma Children’s Hospital boasts of being “the only interdisciplinary clinic in the state that provides gender-related care to patients under the age of 16 years” and of its status “as the founding member of the Gender Affirming Professionals Network (GAP-Net) that promotes collaboration among gender-affirming healthcare providers across the state.”

The hospital website states that it offers the “Roy G. Biv program,” which helps adolescent patients to “benefit” from services like “pausing puberty to further explore gender … managing gender-affirming hormone therapy … helping find surgeons who perform gender-affirming surgeries” on minors.

OU Health told the Daily Caller in a statement that the almost $40 million from the ARPA will provide “significant health benefits for Oklahomans,” including “deliver[ing] the most advanced inpatient and outpatient resources in the country for young people who need mental and behavioral health care.” OU Health further stated that their new mental health facility was never designed to perform these services.

“As the state’s flagship academic health system, OU Health remains committed to providing excellent, comprehensive medical care to all patients while following all state and federal laws and regulatory governing bodies. We appreciate our long-standing, collaborative relationship with the Legislature, and we look forward to future efforts to move our institution and our state forward,” OU Health added.

Republican Oklahoma state Rep. Kevin West said in a statement released by the Oklahoma House of Representatives that he supported the latest version of HB1007.

“I’m thankful for language in this bill that protects children from the practice of mutilation through gender reassignment medical treatment. This unbelievably harmful practice cannot be reversed, and has lasting physical and psychological consequences that can damage these children for the rest of their lives,” West said.

West, who represents Oklahoma City, said HB1007 addresses the issue of performing transgender surgeries on minors as far as the legislature is allowed during a special session. He also indicated that other members of the legislature support taking up the issue again when the regular session commences in spring 2023.

“Passing this legislation now will provide protections for children, and we can further expand those protections when we come back in the spring,” said West. “The radical Left may be making a national push to try and allow the mutilation of our children to become mainstream, but here in Oklahoma, we have to stand up for our kids and say enough is enough.”

Rep. Kevin West did not respond to the Caller’s request for comment.”

More evidence including a whistleblower have confirmed that the U.S. Navy did indeed shoot down TWA Flight 800 in the Atlantic as it left New York, and the CIA and the New York Times worked to cover it up, explained renowned investigative reporter Jack Cashill in this interview on Conversations That Matter with The New American magazine’s Alex Newman. Families of the victims have now filed a lawsuit against the government as a result of the FOIA documents that have emerged thanks to the work of tireless researchers. According to Cashill, this was a tragic accident by the U.S. Navy as it was testing out new technology to shoot down planes and missiles. Under pressure from the CIA, the FBI played a key role in covering up the truth, and the dishonest New York Times carried water for the cover-up, highlighting the power of the “Deep State.” Cashill thinks Bill Clinton’s re-election was one of the major reasons why the cover-up was so extreme. There must be accountability, he said.

A hearing in the case of Darrell Brooks, who is accused of plowing into a Christmas parade last year in Waukesha, Wisconsin, ended with the judge venting her frustrations over what she called “word games” being employed by the accused killer.

The hearing came in response to a motion from Brooks to represent himself. It ended with Waukesha County Judge Jennifer Dorow walking off the bench after giving Brooks a deadline to file official paperwork to remove his public defender attorneys from the case.

Brooks is accused of killing six and wounding dozens in the Nov. 21, 2021, attack.

In a video of part of the hearing posted to YouTube, Dorow had her bailiff hand Brooks some documents. Brooks tried to talk over her.

“Nope. I’m talking, sir,” the judge said. “Listen Mr. Brooks. We are not; we are done here today.”

”I cannot make a finding at the point that you have an understanding of what you’re charged with, the nature of these proceedings,” she said.

“I am not going to get into a debate about whether you’re a sovereign citizen or not, or even whether you have any understanding of how the state is a plaintiff in this case.

“My sole reason for being here today is your motion through your attorneys to consider your request to represent yourself. You have demonstrated through this hearing that you don’t have a basic understanding of some of the things that are going on,” she said.

She said her lack of ability to decide was due in part to “the word games that you are employing.”

“You can roll your eyes all you want sir, I’m done,” she said.

As Brooks continued to speak, Dorow walked away from the bench saying, “this court’s in recess.”

Earlier in the hearing, in which Brooks said he did not “’understand the nature and cause of the charges,” according to WITI-TV.

Brooks told Dorow, “I simply want to represent myself to establish my sovereign citizen.”

During a second reading of the charges against, him, Brooks laughed.
Brooks said he did not understand how the state could be the plaintiff, asking “How could the state be the injured party?”

At one point, according to WISN-TV, after Dorow tried to ascertain if Brooks understood the charges he faces and their possible penalties, he replied, “It’s a lot of numbers.”

Waukesha County District Attorney Sue Opper said she does not care if Brooks represents himself, but does not want the trial delayed any further, according to WISN-TV.

“Any request to adjourn the trial at this late date is untimely and should be denied,” Opper wrote in a filing, adding, “The jury trial date was set on March 11, 2022, over 6 months ago.”

Brooks faces 77 charges, including six counts of first-degree intentional homicide.

Entire Article @ DC: “NFL icon Terry Bradshaw listed his 744-acre ranch in Oklahoma for $22.5 million.

The Terry Bradshaw Quarter Horses Ranch is located in Love County, Oklahoma, according to the listing by Icon Global. It has been significantly updated since the last time the football legend attempted to sell the land in 2014. It’s back on the market after the latest prospective buyer fell through, according to a Dallas Morning News report published Sept. 22.

The sale comes amid rumors of Bradshaw’s ailing health, with some viewers believing the former quarterback appeared to struggle during his “Fox NFL Sunday” show, the New York Post reported. Bradshaw appeared to forget his train of thought and slur his speech during the episode, with SteelerNation reporting that he seemed to be smiling through excruciating pain throughout the show.”

“Unfortunately, despite a series of contract extensions after repeated assurances and promises from the buyer, as well as his agents and other representatives, the buyer sadly failed to follow through, perform, fund and close the transaction,” Icon Global’s owner Bernard Uechtritz said in a statement, the Dallas Morning News reported. “So as of today, the entire ranch is back on the market, and it’s now not a matter of if it will sell but to whom.”

The property features eight lakes and ponds, an 8,600-square-foot main house with six bedrooms and a large pool, along with almost complete equestrian facilities, the listing notes. The listing also appears to describe fully working cattle facilities, with a majority of the land enclosed by secure fencing.”

  12. Now, THIS woman is an out-and-out fruitcake, pure and simple!!!!

Entire Article @ DC: “A federal court Tuesday opened the door for former President Donald Trump to escape a personal defamation lawsuit brought by a woman who accused him of rape.

In 2019, Trump denied writer E. Jean Carroll‘s allegations that he raped her in a New York City department store fitting room in the early 1990s. Carroll subsequently filed a defamation lawsuit against him for allegedly harming her reputation and career.

Trump motioned to be replaced with the U.S. government as the lawsuit’s defendant, arguing that he had immunity from civil lawsuits because his alleged defamatory actions occurred within the scope of his employment as a federal official, which shields individuals from being held personally liable. The Second Circuit Court of Appeals on Monday declared that the president was a qualified government employee, reversing a New York district court’s ruling in the case.

The district court had said Trump did not act within the scope of his employment when he allegedly defamed Carroll. The circuit court vacated that decision, asking the D.C. Court of Appeals to give its opinion.

“We are extremely pleased with the Second Circuit’s decision today in reversing and vacating the District Court’s finding in this matter,” Trump lawyer Alina Habba told the Daily Caller News Foundation. “This decision will protect the ability of all future Presidents to effectively govern without hindrance. We are confident that the D.C. Court of Appeals will find that our client was acting within the scope of his employment when properly repudiating Ms. Carroll’s allegations.”

“Donald Trump was not acting within the scope of his duties as President when he defamed our client, E. Jean Carroll because he was not serving any purpose of the federal government and because the comment ‘she’s not my type’ is not something one would expect the President of the United States to say in the course of his duties,” Carroll’s lawyers argued after the ruling, according to The Hill.

Carroll plans to sue Trump for allegedly sexually assaulting her under New York’s Adult Survivors Act, according to court documents The Washington Post cited. Carroll’s attorney did not immediately respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for comment.”

TAMPA BAY, FL — Authorities are warning that the destructive power of Hurricane Ian is so severe that it could cause Florida to experience water and power shortage almost as bad as they have in California.

“This deadly storm could cause near California-levels of suffering,” said NOAA Chief Meteorologist Storm McSerge. “This is absolutely devastating.”

Local residents pointed out that they had always wondered what it’s like to live in California, and they look forward to finding out. “We’re preparing the way we always do,” said local Florida man Buggs Crullers. “By stocking up on enough beer, cigarettes, and lotto tickets to last us a couple of weeks! If it gets as bad as a normal day in Cali, we’ll be ready!”

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis attempted to quell fears, noting that even if power outages get as bad as they do in Gavin Newsom’s state, at least Florida parents won’t have to worry about their kids getting indoctrinated with CRT and trans ideology behind their parents’ backs. “That’s gotta count for something!” he said.

Sources also confirmed that if essential services and law enforcement resources are strained by the hurricane, it could cause Florida to have almost as much crime as New York City.

GARDEN CITY, CO — Local man Terrence Bilkerson successfully transitioned into a woman recently after taking his wife’s multivitamin. The transition occurred instantly after he grabbed the wrong bottle of vitamins, being distracted by that idiot referee who had made that confounding call in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s big game.

Terrence knew the transition was real when he turned to his wife and asked if she had heard the juicy gossip about the Hendersons next door. It was at that moment, thanks to Centrum™ Women’s Daily Multivitamin that Terrence asked to be called Teresa, she/her.

“Don’t you dare call me Terrence or Terry unless you want me to beat your face in,” said Teresa on her Facebook post announcing her new identity, and obviously experiencing a few transitory hiccups between being a sensitive, emotional woman and a violent, manly man. “As a woman, I feel free from the shackles of taking out the kitchen garbage and mowing the lawn, yet oppressed by society’s severe lack of size 13 stilettos.”

Representatives for Centrum™ could not be reached for comment.

At publishing time, Teresa’s wife Gloria transitioned instantly into a man when Teresa asked what she was thinking about and she replied, “Nothing.”

TALLAHASSEE, FL — Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is being hailed as a hero after he used top-secret technology to reroute Hurricane Ian to Martha’s Vineyard.

“I’ll tell you what, hurricanes have been tormenting Florida for too long. Not on my watch!” said DeSantis to a crowd of screaming fans. “So you know what? We’re gonna load this hurricane onto a plane and fly it north. Martha’s Vinyard, you’d better board up your 10,000 square foot mansions and cancel your polo matches, because Ian is on its way!”

Martha’s Vinyard residents have responded by flying to their winter homes in Florida and directing their house servants to prepare their homes for hurricane landfall. “The fact that DeSantis would spare his own densely populated cities and send the hurricane to ravage our multi-million-dollar mansions as a political stunt is beyond the pale,” said Vineyard resident Karen Von Karen. “First the migrants, and now this? Haven’t the good people of Martha’s Vineyard suffered enough?”

The DOJ has also responded, saying they will investigate the governor for using unapproved top-secret hurricane trafficking technology. “Hurricane trafficking is a serious offense, almost as serious as protesting at a school board meeting,” said Attorney General Merrick Garland. “We will not let this horrific act go unpunished.”

At publishing time, the National Guard announced they will return all the Venezuelan migrants back to Martha’s Vineyard to assist in Hurricane cleanup efforts.

  14. I’m just now watching Tucker from last night. IMO, Tucker is being somewhat disingenuous about that Polish politician’s statement “Thank you, USA!” after the Nord Stream pipeline “leak.” He is suggesting it was a thank you for blowing up the pipeline. I believe what he was saying thank you for was the funding the US made available to Poland for the Baltic Pipe – from Norway to Denmark to Poland – so they can by-pass Russian gas. And Tucker goes on to describe that pipeline, suggesting the USA did it to help THAT pipeline ship more gas and increase it’s profitability, while hurting Putin.

Having said that……I’m being my usual practical, skeptical self, admittedly and, of course, I could be completely off-base so……take it for what it’s worth….not a plugged nickel!

  15. EXCERPT: “AfD has experienced a steady positive trend in polling over the last months, with the party serving as a vocal critic of the left-wing government’s sanctions policy against Russia. The party has also called for an opening of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline between Russia and Germany; however, such a policy is likely no longer possible for the foreseeable future following a suspected sabotage attack on the pipeline that will keep it offline for some time.

Specific cultural and economic factors have led AfD to be far more popular in the east of Germany than in the west. East Germans remain more skeptical of mass immigration and cultural trends from the West, but also tend to sympathize more with Russia. However, one of the greatest concerns in this region of Germany, which is driving popular support of AfD, is the current economic crisis, with inflation hitting east Germans far harder than those in the west of Germany due to the already lower incomes and poverty rates seen in the east.

The major parties in Germany have long said they would never form a coalition with AfD. However, the same cordon sanitaire applied to the Sweden Democrats (SD) in Sweden. And yet, after scoring over 20 percent of the vote earlier this month, SD has entered a power-sharing agreement that many in Swedish politics never thought would be possible.”
