ARRRRGH….today be International Talk like a Pirate Day Matey!  And it brings to mind a “pirate party” the family had 20 some years ago.

It was a snow day and I was home with both kids.  Hubby had to head into work, and to distract the kids from worrying about their father, I announced that we’d be having a “pirate party” that evening after Dad got home.  I told them they had the day to fashion pirate costumes, and there would be treasure for the best.  I also said there would be a cupcake eating contest, and another game based on their current spelling words for the week.  I pulled out all the craft supplies I thought they’d need and piled it on the table.  I would only help if specifically asked.  Then I began making the jumbo cupcakes for the contest.

Once the cupcakes were finished, I grabbed several brown paper bags, the scotch tape and a thick black marker.  I cut the bottoms off the bags and opened them to lay flat.  I taped two together and sectioned off 1-foot sections with the marker.  Once I completed one plank, I made a second.

Next, I snagged the black poster board and the Cap’n Crunch box.  Using the hat in the picture, I fashioned a hat for hubby—I had yet to clue him in that costumes were required…lol.  I even added a white skull and crossbones in the center.  I stapled the two pieces together and viola! Pirate hat!  (By the way, it remains intact to this day—I keep it under the ink blotter on hubby’s oak desk.)

I took some red and white striped fabric and fashioned a head scarf for me and dug out my biggest hoop earrings.  Now to find the blue picnic blanket and the squirt guns!

Hubby made it safely home and while we ate dinner the kids told him all about the party.  They were very excited!! Neither had revealed any clues as to their costumes while we ate lunch and I admit to being anxious to see what they came up with! After eating, we did the dishes and the kids scurried upstairs to put on their costumes.  I filled hubby in on my plans for the games and he balked at wearing the pirate hat.  (When he saw how disappointed the kids were though, he gave in…how can you not love that man?)

When the kids came down the stairs, I was so impressed with their costumes.  Both had used brown paper bags to create peg legs for themselves—wrapping it around their calves.  My daughter created an eye patch, while my son used a dixie cup, paper and aluminum foil to create a hook for his hand.  Both had newspaper hats.  Hubby and I conferred and decided they both should win the $5 treasure.

The next “event” was the cupcake eating contest—and the rules were simple.  First one to eat their entire cupcake—no hands allowed—would win an additional treasure.  My daughter put up a valiant try, but in the end, my son would win. We sent them both upstairs to clean up while we cleaned up the dining room and set up the “finale” in the living room.  We moved the coffee table, smoothed out the blue picnic blanket and arranged the 2 planks.  They would each stand on the end of a plank, facing the sofa, where we sat.  The finale was a spelling bee—I called the game “walk the plank”.  The rules were easy—if you spelled your word correctly, you got to stay where you were. If you misspelled the word, you advanced one section of the plank.

What neither of the kids knew was what awaited the player who eventually ended up off the plank and in the water…lol.  My son, the terrible speller that he was (and remains) found out.  As he took the last step “off the plank” he said, “Now what?” 

We pulled out the squirt guns, and got him soaking wet, yelling “SPLASH!”

    I’ll soon be heading to the scene of the unwarranted, unjust, and illegal Raid and Break-In of my home in Florida, Mar-a-Lago. I’ll be able to see for myself the results of the unnecessary ransacking of rooms and other areas of the house. It has already been proven that so much has been wrongfully taken, it is not a “pretty thing.” So sad! The 4th Amendment, and much more, has been totally violated, a grave invasion of privacy. I will keep the American public informed on TRUTH!

    The digital currency requires a digital identity in order for apportionment based on your value to society. This is essentially an extension of the Fabian mindset into the world of financial transactions and monetary evaluations. Fabians believed that some form of socioeconomic tribunal would be needed in order for each citizen to be quantified according to their “worth” to society. The Chinese social credit score is a variant of that same concept.

    An undercover FBI agent texted a would-be mass shooter to “tear up Texas” prior to the attempted 2014 terror attack on a “Draw Muhammad” cartoon contest in Garland, Texas. That same FBI agent was in the parking lot of the location where the two gunmen launched their attack.

    Boston magazine reporter Michelle McPhee reported in 2017 that one of the Boston Marathon bombers, Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev, was very likely an FBI informant. Despite the FBI receiving warnings from the Russian government that Tsarnaev was a threat, he somehow managed to enter and exit the United States from a known terror hot spot without a passport . . . all while his name was on two terrorist watchlists.

    In 2017, the FBI maintained a network of some 15,000 to 20,000 turncoat informants: an utterly mind boggling number. Between 2011 and 2018, the federal government paid $548 million to federal informants for the DEA, ATF, and FBI. Those informants collectively were involved in 22,800 crimes while receiving taxpayer funds.

    One of those informants was Joshua Caleb Sutter, a member of the alleged “neo-Nazi” group Atomwaffen. Sutter ran a printing press called Martinet that published Satanist and Nazi material. The FBI, it turns out, paid Sutter around $100,000 over nearly a decade.

    Robert Mueller, the former FBI director who headed the Russian hoax investigation into Trump, is especially dirty. He had exculpatory evidence for four innocent men who had been wrongfully convicted of murders committed by FBI agents. He stonewalled the evidence as director in order to protect the corrupt Boston office of the FBI, where at least a half-dozen agents were taking bribes from organized crime.

    The FBI, along with its investigative brethren, is actively enmeshed in the dealings of the underworld. In 2016, the FBI seized the world’s largest child porn site on the “darkweb” called Playpen and then kept it running for two weeks while it infected the computers of visitors to the website with malware designed to track their activity.

    Put simply, the FBI distributed child porn in the name of the supposed “greater good.”

    The line between the scum of the earth and the FBI has blurred to the point of disappearing entirely. The lead FBI agent in Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s kidnapping case, Richard Trask, was a “swinger” (involved in polyamorous sexual activity) who also beat his wife. Trask testified repeatedly in the FBI’s case against alleged militia members but had to be pulled from the case when it was discovered that he had been railing against Trump on social media.

      First, federal law states: “Whoever knowingly alters, destroys, mutilates, conceals, covers up, falsifies, or makes a false entry in any record, document, or tangible object with the intent to impede, obstruct, or influence the investigation or proper administration of any matter within the jurisdiction of any department or agency of the United States” shall be punished.

      Trump had every right to keep all of his records. He was the president. He alone decides what qualifies as a federal record and what he wishes to turn over to his subordinates at the National Archives Administration. The president is a unitary executive. The National Archivist works for him, not the other way around.

      Telling Trump he couldn’t keep documents that he declassified is absurd. Trump did not interfere with the “proper administration” of a matter before the “jurisdiction” of a federal agency because he was the one who controlled those entities. They did not control him.

      The federal statute that addresses the mutilation of government documents doesn’t apply for the same reasons. It states that the “unlawful” concealment of documents is not allowed. Trump had every right to declassify and use documents that were created and maintained by the executive branch. Again, the American executive is unitary. President Trump is, per Article II of the Constitution, the sole possessor of executive power in the United States government. The FBI and National Archives Administration do not get to decide what is unlawful for their boss, the chief executive, to do with his own documents.

      The final law under which Trump was searched, the Espionage Act, is outrageous in the highest degree. The idea that the president can be charged as a spy because he kept his own documents is absurd. The law is so broadly written that virtually any American citizen who has ever taken a photo on or of a military base—even soldiers—could be guilty of a crime.

    Among non-Western nations, China’s carbon dioxide emissions tripled, and its share of global emissions rose from 12 percent in 1992 to 31 percent in 2020. The math is inescapable: what America and the West do is of diminishing relevance to global emissions and therefore to future global temperatures.

    Yes, we can all mortgage our futures by buying an electric cars or buy a big fan to cool our homes with some type of wind energy and it means nothing. We are not the problem in the U.S. The problem is over in China.

    So maybe we should pass a climate change bill saying that the U.S. will do nothing until the Chinese do something. Maybe the President can sign it in front of the Chinese Embassy and drop off a Chinese translation at the gate.

    Of course, maybe all of this stuff about climate change has more to do with hating capitalism. After all, Earth Day was conveniently celebrated on Lenin’s birthday in 1970 and China, the communist superpower, gets a free pass from the environmentalists. I smell a rat. Maybe I should check the calendar and see if this is the year of the rat over in China.

    AP also let Pfizer claim, unchallenged, that a 2020 Phase 3 clinical study of “more than 44,000 people,” half of whom were women, showed, according to Pfizer, that “miscarriages were not reported as a vaccine side effect.”

    Second, the AP did not link to or appear to check this study, which was reported in the New England Journal of Medicine. Safety and immune response data from this trial after immunization of adolescents 12 to 15 years of age will be reported subsequently, and additional studies are planned to evaluate BNT162b2 in pregnant women, children younger than 12 years, and those in special risk groups, such as immunocompromised persons.”

    So if you exclude pregnant women, of course “miscarriages were not reported as a vaccine side effect”.

    First of all, an acceptable red heifer had to be unblemished. But here in the western world, we tag the ears of calves when they are born, and the tagging creates a blemish.

    Fortunately, there was a rancher in Texas that was aware of this requirement and did not tag the ears of his calves when red heifers were born. In addition, according to Jewish tradition more than two non-red hairs would disqualify a calf.

    There have been times when a calf is born 100 percent red but then develops black or white hairs as it grows older. So that is a problem. To determine whether a heifer is acceptable or not, a rabbi literally goes over every inch with a magnifying glass.

    There are other requirements as well, but there is one in particular that I want to mention. The red heifers that were delivered to Israel are all between five and eight months old. But according to Jewish tradition, they must be two years and one day old to be used in a red heifer ceremony.

    So they will be raised in Israel until they reach the appropriate age. And that also means that the clock is ticking. It will be some time in 2024 when these five red heifers reach the key age, and they must be used then or they won’t be able to be used at all.”

    Trafalgar Group chief pollster Robert Cahaly wrote on Sept. 17 that Biden’s speech will make it more difficult to survey or even estimate Trump-aligned voters than in prior years. He noted that in 2016, a number of presidential polls and predictions regarding Trump and opponent Hillary Clinton proved to be inaccurate.

    “In 2016, Trump supporters were called ‘Deplorables’ and other unflattering names,” Cahaly said on Twitter. “This was a major contributor to the ‘shy Trump voter’ phenomenon that ‘most’ polling missed, which resulted in a major loss in public confidence for polling flowing the election.” In 2020, “people who supported Trump or espoused conservative values out of step with ‘Woke’ culture found themselves being ‘canceled’ or ‘doxed,’” he continued.

    “This led to ‘hidden voters’ that ‘most’ polling under counted, therefore Trump support in key battleground states exceeded expectations. Now [the] Biden administration has essentially classified ‘MAGA Republicans’ as a threat to democracy marshaling federal law enforcement to focus on them,” the pollster wrote. “This move has created a new type of voter that will be even harder to poll or even estimate.”

    He was referring to Biden’s Sept. 1 speech that targeted “MAGA Republicans” as a threat to U.S. institutions, just weeks after the FBI raided Trump’s Florida residence. Speaking in front of a red backdrop and flanked by two Marines, Biden claimed Trump and his supporters “represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic.”

    Describing this new group as “submerged voters,” Cahaly wrote that these people “aren’t putting stickers on their cars, signs in their yards, posting their opinions, or even answering polls. At this point, I think it’s fair to say that Biden’s pursuit of and attacks on ‘MAGA Republicans’ has created an army of voters who will be virtually impossible to poll (even for us) and more difficult still to estimate,” he wrote.

    For 2022, GOP voter turnout will most likely be higher than what the polls and other election models are showing, Cahaly said. Polls, including those carried out by his Trafalgar Group, are underestimating the effect of the “submerged voter” phenomenon, the pollster concluded.

    His prediction comes after The New York Times’ chief political analyst, Nate Cohn, warned that mainstream polling is likely overstating support for Democrats.

    “The apparent Democratic strength in Wisconsin and elsewhere is a mirage—an artifact of persistent and unaddressed biases in survey research,” Cohn wrote earlier this month. “If the polls are wrong yet again, it will not be hard to explain. Most pollsters haven’t made significant methodological changes since the last election.”

    Why is America’s intelligence community so involved in the global COVID vaccine campaign?

    A week ago, I discussed how the Department of Homeland Security filed for a patent regarding “fusion proteins containing luciferase” in 2017, and was granted the patent in 2019. Luciferase has only one purpose in medicine: tracking things. Entire Article @ EpochTimes: “MARTHA’S VINEYARD, Mass.—While some locals have claimed that the illegal immigrants who arrived on this wealthy island should go elsewhere since there wouldn’t be work for them with the summer rush gone, the local newspaper has listed 50 help wanted ads in a recent issue, and the local supermarket chain has been known to need help all year long.

    The classified section of the Vineyard Gazette listed more than 50 jobs in the same issue that ran a story about the illegal aliens, referring to them as “stranded migrants.” The job ads included positions for laborers, custodians, landscapers, bakers, cooks, dishwashers, technicians, library assistant, and several retail positions.

    The local YMCA also listed several job openings, including housekeepers, ice arena workers, and a front desk administrator. The spacious Y, located near where the illegal immigrants spent the night at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, shares a complex with Martha’s Vineyard Community Services (MVCS), which also ran a help wanted ad in the paper, including a job for administrative assistant, “bilingual preferred.”

    MVCS didn’t respond to a request for comment by press time. The outreach center and the island’s homeless shelter told the media that they didn’t have room for the illegal aliens.

    In the afternoon of Sept. 17, a Saturday, the large MVCS complex had several doors to its buildings wide open, but no staff could be found. One of the open buildings consisted of two floors with several empty rooms, including rooms with full kitchens and couches. A group of friends enjoying an outdoor lunch at the Martha’s Vineyard Airport told The Epoch Times that while the plume of summer jobs is over, there are still enough job opportunities on the island.

    The women, year-round residents who grew up on the island, pointed to Stop & Shop, a grocery store chain with three locations on the island. According to the women, the stores are always looking for help and they have worker dormitories, which they said are “now empty” with most of the summer help gone.

    “Martha’s Vineyard is a tale of two cities,” said one of the women, who spoke on condition of anonymity. But Charles Rus, music director at St. Andrew’s, the episcopal church in Edgartown where the illegal immigrants were housed, told The Epoch Times there weren’t any jobs for them on the island. “There’s space, but there’s no job,” he said.

    Rus had offered to put some of the illegal immigrants up in his two-bedroom apartment. “If they had come four months earlier, every one of them would have had a $20 per hour job,” he said. In response to criticism that the illegal aliens were forced off the island, Rus said the Venezuelans had to leave the island for “practical reasons,” including the need to attend scheduled court hearings.

    According to a Sept. 16 story in the Vineyard Gazette, the Island Counseling Center provided each of the 50 illegal immigrants with individual legal counseling by an immigration attorney.

    The Baker Call

    The seemingly ample availability of jobs on Martha’s Vineyard isn’t the only point of contradiction to the narrative spun by some locals and picked up by establishment media outlets. Some locals questioned whether local officials were unaware of the two planes of illegal aliens chartered by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, and speculated about who had called on Republican Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker to remove the uninvited visitors.

    “I don’t think Baker woke up in the morning, said, ‘Hey, I think I’ll take those 50 immigrants off the hands of Martha’s Vineyard,’” Richard Rooney, who lives and owns a real estate agency on the island, told The Epoch Times.

    Less than 24 hours after their arrival to Martha’s Vineyard, a self-proclaimed sanctuary community, Baker approved the transfer of the illegal immigrants, mostly Venezuelans, off the island to a military base in Bourne, which is located within minutes of the ferry terminal to Martha’s Vineyard. In Bourne, the group was given shelter, food, clothing, and other supplies. Baker committed 125 members of the Massachusetts National Guard as part of the transfer.

    Rooney, a Republican who has been active in local government on Martha’s Vineyard for about 30 years, also joined others who pointed to the notification requirements by Martha’s Vineyard Airport for unscheduled flights. Democrats have attacked DeSantis, a Republican, for sending the illegal aliens to Martha’s Vineyard in what they have characterized as an ambush.

    “We were given no notice,” Massachusetts state Rep. Dylan Fernandes, a Democrat representing Martha’s Vineyard, told a TV news outlet the day the illegal immigrants arrived on Martha’s Vineyard. Massachusets Public Safety and Security Secretary Terrence Reidy, appointed by Baker in 2021, also called their arrival on Martha’s Vineyard “unexpected” in a Sept. 16 press release announcing the Baker administration’s plans to take the illegal immigrants.

    The island airport’s flight notification requirements state that 24-hour notification before takeoff is required for any plane with more than nine passengers, and suggest that a passenger list must also be provided in advance. Video footage from Fox News shows the illegal aliens disembarking from a plane shortly after arriving on Martha’s Vineyard.

    Rooney wonders why someone was at the airport filming the debarkation, especially if the plane was “secretly” sent. On Sept. 18, a man answering the phone line for airport operations refused to provide general information about the airport’s notification requirements, initially telling The Epoch Times that there were no notification requirements. When The Epoch Times stated the 24-hour notice policy for flights with nine or more passengers, the man said he wasn’t permitted to speak to the press.

    Martha’s Vineyard Airport is funded with tax dollars and receives sizable state and federal subsidies. The airport received $1.2 million in federal COVID-19 aid in 2020. In 2019, Dukes County, the county-level government on Martha’s Vineyard, gave the airport $1.2 million for “improvements.” Airport General Geoffrey Freeman couldn’t be reached for comment.

    In response to the charge made by Democrats that DeSantis used the immigrants as political pawns, Rooney told The Epoch Times that he sees “the move by DeSantis to fly the immigrants to the island as no different than Biden sneaking millions of illegal immigrants all over the country in the dark of night by bus and plane.”

    “At least DeSantis did it in the daylight,” Rooney said. Speculation about who contacted Baker, a Republican, from this Democrat-dominated island is widespread. Amanda Orlando, campaign manager for Massachusetts Republican gubernatorial candidate Geoff Diehl, told The Epoch Times on Sept. 16 that Diehl, also curious about who made the call to Baker, has filed a Freedom of Information Act request to find out.

    Former President Barack Obama, who owns a 6,982-square foot mansion and a 29-acre farm on the island, came up routinely as a possibility. Within 12 hours after the arrival of the immigrants to the island, social media posts on Facebook and Twitter were riddled with criticism aimed at wealthy Democrats for not offering up their empty summer rentals.

    Rus, of St. Andrew’s, told The Epoch Times that there were locals who did derisively call for “putting them in Obama’s House.” “But they were in the minority,” he said.”

    The Infuriating Popularity of Donald Trump

    It is almost as if they do not believe they won in 2020. Every day since that fateful election, Donald J. Trump has graced the front pages of the legacy media almost without exception. Two years later and with midterms rapidly approaching, the Liz Cheney wing of the Republican party remains perplexed. In a New York Times column recently, Never-Trumper David Brooks marveled at the continued political strength of the former president:

    “One of the stunning facts of the age is the continued prominence of Donald Trump. His candidates did well in the G.O.P. primaries this year. He won more votes in 2020 than he did in 2016. His favorability ratings within his party have been high and basically unchanged since late 2016. In a range of polls, some have actually shown Trump leading President Biden in a race for re-election in 2024.”

    Then, as the left (among whom Brooks must be counted) lurched uncontrollably into the truth. “His prominence is astounding because, over the past seven years, the American establishment has spent enormous amounts of energy trying to discredit him,” Brooks whined.

    In a rare display of rational thinking, Brooks outlined the many strategies employed by the establishment to take Trump out: This included, but was not limited to, the immorality tactic, various impeachment schemes, and the so-called exposure ploy, which were designed to unmask him as a terrible human being. Frustrated and nonplussed by the inadequacy of these efforts, the thought occurs to Brooks, and likely others, that “The barrage has probably solidified Trump’s hold on his party.”

    He got that right.

    Never-Trumpers Search for the Holy Grail

    Joe Biden & Company appear to have settled upon the strategy of damning the entire lot of Trumpists. By going after the electorate (an unusual approach to be sure), the establishment hopes to marginalize the Trump advocate. The idea is to corner the pro-Trump crowd, and make them appear radical, which is why words like white supremacist, semi-fascist, and Ultra MAGA are being tossed around ad infinitum.

    Why employ such a divisive tactic? Because it is designed to persuade the folks who live in the political center. Brooks even admitted as much. “The job was to peel away independents and those Republicans offended by and exhausted by his antics,” he wrote. However, trying to make everyone who supports Mr. Trump into a lunatic has a downside, as is evident by this story shared by The New York Times columnist:

    “This week, I talked with a Republican who was incensed by Biden’s approach. He is an 82-year-old émigré from Russia who is thinking of supporting Ron DeSantis in the 2024 primaries because he has less baggage. His parents were killed by the Nazis in World War II. ‘And now Biden’s calling me a fascist?!’ he fumed.”

    One wonders if the president and his party satraps have become so insular, they cannot recognize the strategy of making Trump supporters out to be an archetypal anti-Christ is not working. Much like the elderly émigré mentioned above, it may actually be backfiring.

    And so, it appears MAGA man and his millions of followers have gotten into their heads, and the establishment is utterly exasperated. The Never-Trump elite may be frustrated that they have not been able to rid the earth of Orange Man Bad, but they continue to search – almost without pause – for an answer. It is if they are locked inside a political maze without entrance or exit. Perhaps they are so confounded because taking the time to understand the average Trump supporter is beneath them. It is class politics to the core – a concept which Donald Trump has fundamentally turned on its head. Although the Shakespearean provenance is disputed, this quote aptly describes the situation: “Love me or hate me, both are in my favor…If you love me, I’ll always be in your heart…If you hate me, I’ll always be in your mind.”

  31. EXCERPTS: “I often play a sick rendition of Where’s Waldo – except I am looking for Billy Boy Gates instead. While doing research into the monkeypox virus (MPXV), I didn’t need to go far to find the mad sweater-wearing ghoul.

    On July 29th, on the heels of the World Hoax Organization (WHO) announcing monkeypox as the next “plandemic,” National Public Radio (NPR) put out a story that received little fanfare or coverage.

    In 2017, Dr. Dimie Ogoina, professor of medicine and infectious diseases at Niger Delta University in Nigeria, tried to warn health officials that the monkeypox virus had changed, but somebody told him to be quiet. Who? Was it Bill Gates?

    I wondered why NPR would even publish such a story, given that the mainstream media no longer cares about the truth. Moreover, NPR had accepted tons of money from the Gates Foundation in the past. Was the article a confession to cover their behinds with the assumption that no one would connect the dots?

    I also wondered exactly what meddlings Gates had had in Nigeria. Sure enough, the country sold its soul to the devil.

    Five years ago, Dr. Dimie Ogoina said he saw the most important patient of his career – an 11-year-old whose infection would eventually be linked to the largest monkeypox outbreak in history. According to NPR, a few weeks after diagnosing the young boy, Ogoina “became concerned – quite concerned.” The outbreak in Nigeria began to grow rapidly. Cases cropped up in counties not just near this one boy, but all over. “Suddenly, we were seeing cases appear across the country,” Ogoina said.

    The boy was the first case of monkeypox in Nigeria in 38 years. But not the last. Eventually, they figured out that the young boy didn’t catch the virus from playing with a monkey (shocker!) but rather from a male relative in his household. And rather than rashes on their face and extremities, blisters occurred around their genitals. “They had very extensive genital lesions. Very, very extensive,” Ogoina says. To Dr. Ogoina, clearly, the virus had changed.

    Additionally, months after accusing the United States of having biological laboratories in Ukraine, Russia revealed that there are at least four US-operated biological laboratories in Nigeria – in Abuja, Zaria, and Lagos – from where the monkeypox virus was spread.

    While the “hows” are convoluted, they started spreading through sexual contact for the first time five years ago. Ogoina and his colleagues even mentioned this occurrence in a study published in 2019:

    “Although the role of sexual transmission of human monkeypox is not established, sexual transmission is plausible in some of these patients through close, skin-to-skin contact during sexual intercourse or by transmission via genital secretions,” Ogoina and his colleagues wrote in the journal PLOS One. “Yes, someone told me that we should not say sexual transmission is possible,” Ogoina recalls with exasperation in his voice. “I was told, ‘We should not worry about sexual transmission.’ “

    Who told him to stay silent?

    Was this when monkeypox first started spreading sexually? Was a messed-with gain-of-function monkeypox virus circulating in Nigeria that far back? What if whatever was going on was spread via a vaccine? Dr. Ogoina didn’t respond to my email message. At the time of his observation, Nigeria didn’t have the ability to test for the disease. “So we had to send our samples to Senegal and even to the US to make a diagnosis,” he says. “We had to wait.”

    Not surprisingly, they were instructed to use the unreliable PCR test which ratcheted up cases on demand.

    Reports emerged that the NIH and Wuhan Lab had been working on monkeypox prior to the outbreak. In a scientific article in Virologica Sinica, the official journal of the Chinese Society of Microbiology, the authors explained the process for artificially engineering a monkeypox virus.

    In fact, the Wuhan Institute of Virology published a study in February 2022 – months before the outbreak – in which they described creating a portion of a monkeypox genome from scratch in order to develop a PCR test for monkeypox diagnosis.

    Curiously, the paper states that, because there’s never been a monkeypox outbreak in China, “the viral genomic material required for PCR detection is unavailable.”

    Worobey hasn’t published his analysis yet, but he says the data is indisputable. “It’s clear that there’s been continuous cases – or endemic transmission – in Nigeria since 2017, possibly even a bit earlier. Subsequently, something from there got exported out [to the rest of world].”

    Why didn’t health officials listen to Ogoina? And perhaps more importantly, what exactly was Bill Gates’ the reasoning for his presence in Nigeria in the 2017 timeframe?

  34. Entire Article: “NEW YORK (PIX11) — Five years after Hurricane Maria battered Puerto Rico, the island was drenched by Hurricane Fiona over the weekend.

    Puerto Rico is without power and many hospitals and businesses do not have generators, despite the island having the highest electricity costs in the country, according to Rep. Ritchie Torres.

    “It could take days to restore power in Puerto Rico,” Torres said. “Puerto continues to be haunted by the ghost of Hurricane Maria.”

    The failure to rebuild the electric grid in Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria is a tragedy, the politician added. However, the company responsible for building the grid is in bankruptcy, and therefore more support is needed from the federal government, he added.

    Puerto Rico is a colony rather than a state and, consequently, has no politicians representing its interests. It has “no vote and no voice,” Torres said.

    Hurricane Fiona is roaring over the Dominican Republic after knocking out power across all of Puerto Rico and causing damage the governor says is “catastrophic.” No deaths have been reported, but authorities in the U.S. territory say it’s too early to know the full scope of the damage.

    The expansive storm is still forecast to unleash torrential rain across Puerto Rico on Monday, as well as in the eastern Dominican Republic.

  36. EXCERPT: “The Wisconsin man who allegedly fired the first gunshot as people chased Kyle Rittenhouse during the 2020 Kenosha riots has been arrested this week. Joshua Ziminski, 37, reportedly admitted to investigators that he fired a “warning shot” into the air on Aug. 25, 2020. Immediately after, the then-17-year-old Rittenhouse was nearby and shot and killed his assailants – Joseph Rosenbaum and Anthony Huber.

    Ziminski was charged with felony arson and misdemeanors of obstructing an officer and disorderly conduct with a deadly weapon. WiscNews reported, “Joshua Ziminski was already out on bond and scheduled to appear in court Oct. 14 for crimes allegedly committed in August 2020 during the Downtown turmoil following the shooting of Jacob Blake by a Kenosha Police officer.”

    A judge raised Ziminski’s bond from $1,000 to $13,000 earlier this year after he allegedly threatened and intimidated a witness who was set to testify against him.

    On Monday, Ziminski was arrested for reportedly attempting to rob a Kenosha man at knifepoint in August. The Kenosha County Eye reported that Ziminski and his wife Kelly, 32, were charged with felony armed robbery, felony armed burglary, felony false imprisonment, felony intimidation of a victim, felony identification theft, and misdemeanor battery. He is also reportedly facing a felony charge of bail-jumping.

    Joshua Ziminski allegedly told police that his wife cleans the victim’s apartment for $200 a week, and went to the man’s home at 1:30 a.m. so she could tidy up. Ziminski said he waited in his car, but Kelly returned to tell her husband that the man had hit and raped her.

    The Ziminskis are being held on $100,000 cash bonds. They are scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 23 for preliminary hearings.”

CDC Director Rochelle Walensky told CNN in January that vaccines are ineffective at preventing transmission of the COVID-19 virus. Earlier this year, the CDC began acknowledging the benefits and protections provided by the natural immunity resultant of an infection by the virus. Nevertheless, workers across America continue to lose their jobs for refusing COVID-19 vaccines.

    The New York City Department of Education has terminated an additional 850 teachers for resisting the vaccine mandate. According to the New York Post, this recent spate of firings brings the total number of school employees ousted for their failure to comply to 1,950. Those fired have also lost their health insurance benefits.

    While 850 remained resolute in their refusal to comply with the mandate, 1,300 employees who had been placed on unpaid leave with benefits agreed to show proof of vaccination by September 5. 450 got vaccinated before the deadline and are reportedly “returning to their prior schools or work locations.” Those who refused to show up with papers were “deemed to have voluntarily resigned.”

    Vaccinations for jobs

    The mandate that has now put thousands of New Yorkers out of work first went into effect on October 4, 2021. Then-mayor Bill de Blasio indicated that objectors, estimated to be about 5% of 148,000 public school staffers, would be placed on unpaid leave. Teachers, principals, school safety agents and food service workers were among those targeted by the requirement. De Blasio said, “Every adult in our schools is now vaccinated, and that’s going to be the rule going forward.”

    Mayor Eric Adams maintained the mandate, recently noting that “city workers served on the front lines during the pandemic, and by getting vaccinated, they are, once again, showing how they are willing to do the right thing to protect themselves and all New Yorkers.”

    Those who did not do what was perceived by Adams to be “the right thing” did not have their livelihoods protected, despite having “served on the front lines.”

    In addition to firefighters, police officers, and teachers losing their jobs on account of personal medical decisions, tens of thousands of health care workers were similarly terminated after Democrat Gov. Kathy Hochul expanded her predecessor’s mandate to include staff in various additional hospital settings.

    Timing and legality

    Whereas the firing of thousands of unvaccinated NYPD police officers may leave an overburdened police force with even fewer hands to deal with a 36% surge in crime, the loss of thousands of educators will similarly have a negative impact on the city. After all, there is a looming teacher shortage.

    The New York State United Teachers union indicated that approximately 180,000 teachers need to be hired in the state over the next decade, especially after 280,000 teachers across the U.S. left the workforce during the pandemic. Jolene DiBrango, the union’s executive vice president, said “The teacher shortage is definitely not looming anymore. It is here. It is in a full blown crisis mode.”

    Earlier this month, the New York City Council’s Common-Sense Caucus pressured the mayor and Dr. Ashwin Vasan, the city’s health commissioner, to ease restrictions and mandates. Republican councilman Joe Borelli of South Shore, a member of the group, noted that “these mandates … no longer have any basis in public health rationale.”

    Months after the city lifted its vaccine mandate for indoor venues, teachers must still be vaccinated along with children seeking to participate in extracurricular activities. Borelli called these vestigial mandates “simply absurd.”

    While the Supreme Court blocked the Biden administration’s federal vaccine mandate, Justice Sonia Sotomayor refused to block NYC’s mandate for teachers in October 2021. Late last month, Sotomayor again declined to block the mandate.

    Notwithstanding federal permissiveness, last week, a Manhattan judge ruled that a Brooklyn police officer, Officer Alexander Deletto, could not be fired for refusing vaccination. Deletto had sought a religious exemption, which the city had initially denied. Deletto’s lawyer, James Mermigis, told the Post “These are people that were heroes during COVID that put their own safety at risk to help the city of New York and this is how the mayor treats them? … It’s an absolute disgrace.”

    Michigan Democrat Hillary Scholten, who is running in one of the country’s most competitive congressional races, wants voters to believe she’s “making do with less and making things last longer” just like them.

    In her latest campaign ad, Scholten claims her family has dramatically cut back on spending because of inflation. Higher energy prices, for example, mean no more air conditioning for the Scholten family, the ad shows.

    Nor can Scholten even afford shoes for her children. “Things [are] so expensive,” she says after the ad shows her son wearing duct-taped sandals.

    But those images may be a tough sell for Michigan voters, considering Scholten netted more than $200,000 last year working as an immigration attorney for a Grand Rapids-area law firm, according to a Washington Free Beacon review of her financial disclosure forms. Her family’s total income was likely far higher given her husband scored consulting fees from two nonprofits, on top of his salary as a professor at a local university.

    Scholten’s latest ad push is part of a broader trend of Democrats struggling to relate to average voters during a period of immense economic uncertainty. For candidates such as Scholten, who makes roughly six to seven times Michigan’s median individual income, that means making questionable statements about their own financial security.

    Scholten did not respond to a request for comment.
