Upon hearing this the other day, I realized instead of blindly accepting Mr Adkins’ lyrics, I would fact check them…it’s all the rage, right?  Will country boys have the STATS?  (STATS: Smile, Transportation, Attitude, Talent, and Sex Appeal.)

Let’s start with Smile…a city guy smiling…

versus a country boy smiling.

NO CONTEST! Am I right???

Let’s talk transportation…city guy transportation:

versus country boy transportation:

hmmmmm…little scooter versus a pick-up truck? Can two even ride those scooter things?

“A” is for attitude. Compare the attitude of a city guy…

with a country man’s attitude:

I don’t know about you, but i think the merman is creepy!

When it comes to talent, a lot of city guys are limited to destructive screaming and protesting…

but country boys have impressive, life affirming talents.

Which brings us to sex appeal.  This is a typical city man…

versus a typical country man…

Not even close!

I think I can rate the above song as TRUE!

  1. Good morning y’all! It’s true! My wife travelled halfway around the world to land this country boy/redneck. I can sing country music, work with my hands, drink beers, garden, and do labor all day long…oh, and I have a pick up!

Morning All…no raccoons in the trap this morning…although since the last one managed to flip the cage, hubby secured this one to the deck and the railing…the little cup with bait is overturned and empty. so now he’s wondering if the trap didn’t spring or maybe a mouse, chipmunk or squirrel got in there. we’ll have to check the trail cam to see

    1. A nipply NE good morning to you, Miss Pat! Seriously chilly for early August – only 60 right now and that’s gone up a bit. This is why I always keep sweats close at hand! The coons are spreading the word – betcha! Or maybe they’re letting the squirrels and chipmunks do their dirty work?

        I saw this open in my mind listening to the song and i was laughing…hubby thought I was nuts! LOL
        hubby inspected the trap and the spring mechanism is a little bent–he thinks one of the 2 we caught bent it trying to escape–they are strong!

        we have a “chance” of rain every day this week–man do we need it!!

        1. It really is a refreshing change. Supposedly a good chance for rain here this coming week-end but we’ll see. I dropped over at Oran/Lois’ house to give them a cantaloupe I couldn’t eat – didn’t even taste ANY cantaloupe flavor – and he said he would also not mow until we got some good rain.

          Most people around us have working sprinkler systems. Oran doesn’t have one and mine hasn’t been in working condition for many years now. I had to replace all of the water lines/pipes in the house and would have had to do the same with the entire sprinkler system. I put my focus on the flowers and flower beds – I am not obsessing over a lawn that managed to survive for many years with no attention whatsoever.

            1. IMO, it’s too early to talk about 2024 – I think he is solely focused right now on being re-elected Governor – as Pushaw said “he is focused on FL!” Whatever it is, I think it will be primarily specific to FL but that’s just my guess.

            2. Oh, another thought – why would he announce now, while running for re-election, that he intends to quit mid-term in 2 years and go for the VP position???? Why would Floridians vote for him under those circumstances? More spitballing here…..

    Indeed, the order is so “in your face” violative that even ABC News has acknowledged the problems with putting it into effect:

    As always, to justify his actions, Biden lied:

The Post Millennial recently reported that Farmer’s video begins with the written message: “Menstruation is something natural that is constantly associated with being a ‘woman,’ therefore it is completely normal for all women to want to experience this sensation and I hope you all can appreciate that.”

PPP “loans” kept the company hubby works for afloat during the shutdown. they are a hvac/plumbing contractor with less than a handful of office personnel. their loan was “forgiven” since most went to salaries of workers. but big law firms? they never shold have qualified imo…to the tune of $16 BILLION?????

    The wasteful spending by our government is no big secret, as it has unfortunately been going on forever, but I just came across some information that brought out government wasteful spending practices to rock bottom.

    During COVID, the government came up with a not very well thought out idea: the “Paycheck Protection Program” (PPP). In principle, PPP sounded good, but in practice, it was a blatant abuse of the taxpayers’ money to the extent that it enriched the bank accounts of multimillion-dollar law firms. The government actually used the taxpayers’ hard earned money to make the already rich lawyers even richer, via a very underserved windfall for doing absolutely nothing but filling out a form.

    A mind-boggling 200,503 businesses in the so-called “Offices of Lawyers” industry received a total of $16.4 billion of taxpayers’ money in this money-squandering program. The criteria for the law firms to receive this money was minimal, almost to the point that it was a joke. The PPP was a loan designed to provide a direct incentive for “small businesses” to keep their workers on payroll.

    What the public wasn’t told was that this program was going to funnel $16.4 billion into the bank accounts of rich law firms who obviously didn’t need the money. Many high-profile law firms around the country received as much as $10 million per firm, and numerous firms received several hundreds of thousands of dollars each. The law firms who received this are shown here.

    The Paycheck Protection Program loans were very generous, as the so called “loans” could be forgiven if at least 60% of the money was used on payroll. Many of the employees’ salaries were $60,000–100,000. While it is great that the employees were able to earn such impressive salaries, a law firm that could afford to pay such high salaries should hardly have its hand out for donations from the taxpayers to help. And, as usual, the government is playing games with not being very upfront with the public, as the so called “loans” were reported by the Small Business Association (SBA) as “paid in full,” which includes both loans repaid and those “fully forgiven” from repayment under PPP guidelines.

        Humming birds and butterflies come almost to my nose … they love the Lantana I planted (who knew! I grew up on coast where Lantana grows like a weed, so didn’t plant here ’til this year… )

    EXCERPT: “Authorities arrested a 37-year-old man Monday for allegedly kidnapping a 12-year-old girl who police are calling a “hero” after she escaped her kidnapper by chewing through restraints. The girl was tied to bed posts in her kidnapper’s mobile home for more than a week, according to a criminal complaint, CNN reported. She was drugged with alcohol and physically abused, the outlet continued.

    “Yesterday [at] about 8:26, our office received a call of a young juvenile female walking in the roadway,” Tallapoosa County Sheriff Jimmy Abbett said in a press conference Tuesday. “During the initial investigation, from the information that we were receiving and collected, we were able to arrest Jose Paulino Pascal Reyes,” Sheriff Abbett continued.”

    Police found two other decomposing bodies in the mobile home. The Department of Forensics Sciences is working to identify the bodies, Abbett added.”

    TALLAHASSEE — Gov. Ron DeSantis said Thursday that he was suspending Hillsborough County State Attorney Andrew Warren for not prosecuting certain crimes.

    At a news conference in front of Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office deputies, DeSantis said Warren has “put himself publicly above the law” by signing letters saying he would not enforce laws prohibiting sex changes for minors or laws limiting abortion.

    “Our government is a government of laws, not a government of men,” DeSantis said.

    Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister said they’ve had long-running frustrations with Warren for not prosecuting particular cases.

    “I continue to work with my law enforcement counterparts who privately are frustrated with the state attorney, who seems intently focused on empathy for criminals and less interested in pursuing justice for crime victims,” Chronister said Thursday.

    Thursday’s press conference included neighboring other police chiefs, including Pasco County Sheriff Chris Nocco and Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd.

    “Andrew Warren is a fraud,” former Tampa police Chief Brian Dugan said. “This is a terrible day, that the governor had to come and clean up our mess.”

    While watching the Kabuki of Spending Bills passing through the Uni-Party Congress, the PACT Spending Bill being the latest, keep the following in mind.

    Congress AUTHORIZES Spending via spending Bills (Laws). Within each spending Bill is a section that also describes “REPROGRAMMING” authority and oversight requirements.

    The Executive Branch (using Sock Puppet JoeBama’s pen and cellphone) OBLIGATES (spends) the money per the rules written in ALL spending Bills.

    The REPROGRAMMING rules have made the TRILLIONS of dollars of AUTHORIZED by Congress over the past 18+ months a massive slush fund for use by Sock Puppet JoeBama’s handlers.

    Money allocated to the States is sent to the State Executives as Grants with rules, including reprogramming instructions. Each State Grant is individually written. That means democrat governors can be granted wide latitude in spending, while Republican Governors can be limited.

    For the past 18+ months between 30-50% of the Spending Bills passed have been earmarked for items NOT targeted by the Bill and rest is liable for REPROGRAMMING as needed.

    Therefore we have:
    Democrat Governors able to reprogram Federal Grant money as they see fit, LEGALLY.
    JoeBama’s pen and cellphone being used to send Billions around the world.
    The JoeBama administration having a massive slush fund to impact election as only a fraction of the Congressionally AUTHORIZED Money has been Obligated.

    The Uni-Party is counting on 90%+ of normal citizens NOT understanding how money is generated for use by the people in power within the Executive Branch.
