    we caught another raccoon…this one flipped over the cage! although when hubby went out to move the cage off the deck, he was not snarling and growling at him! and, of course, it pooped all over the deck again…sigh…what a mess!

          1. iirc Rodney has luck with them, but then his garden is humungous! we have the space, but not the right sun for it…and fencing in another area seems pointless.
            the area behind the grapvines seemed perfect for pumpkins, but the deer ate them as soon as they sprouted…and they tromped thru the rest…LOL…sigh.

      1. I love to bake and i love the convenience of mixes. The book that had the DIY toiletries also has recipes for mixes–muffins, brownies and even cake mixes. the thought being, just a nix, the dry ingredients are mixed and sealed and you add the wet stuff at the time of baking.
        I have a vacuum sealer I use for meat and i am thinking of trying it for baking mixes. that way I CONTROL what’s in it.
        I will have to see how long they can be stored…and price it out to see if it’s a good thing to do.

    I don’t know who jesse waters (?) is but the video says not ony was paul drunk, he was under the influence of a “drug”…and when asked for his driver’s license, he presented a police DONOR card–showing that he donates to CA police somewhere or the highway cops or something like that. AND last night, the judge in the case, stepped down. the new judge, never heard a case before, and the prosecutor donated to her campaign (?) and the victim had injuries–so paul should have been charged with a felony

    “The State of California has a long-standing requirement that voters must be United States citizens,” the plaintiffs argued. “This requirement applies to every election in the state, even those conducted by charter cities, because determining voter qualifications is a matter of statewide concern where state law supersedes conflicting charter city ordinances.”

    The court agreed.

    “Transcendent law of California, the Constitution … reserves the right to vote to a United States citizen, contrary to (the) San Francisco ordinance,” San Francisco Superior Court Judge Richard Ulmer said in a ruling that will prohibit the city from counting non-citizen votes.

    The lawsuit also argued that because the San Francisco Unified School District receives money from state taxpayers, the entire state has an interest in the qualifications of its voters, and the city does not have unlimited autonomy to redefine who is eligible to vote.

In the lower-left corner of the envelope that contains the absentee ballot, there is a box for the person checking the validity of the signature to either mark with a red pen or stamp with an official stamp from the clerk’s office. According to multiple poll challengers, the box was left empty at least 50% of the time.

    Senator Rand Paul has called for restricting the exporting of DNA technology to China in the same way nuclear technology to the Communist regime is restricted.

    Speaking on Fox News Tuesday, Paul was explaining the intentions of his Senate Health Committee Gain of Function hearing, which begins today.

    “Before we even get whether the virus came from a lab we have to explore, were they doing gain-of-function research?” Paul said.

    The Senator continued, “Were they taking viruses, mixing them with unknown viruses and creating more lethal viruses or viruses that were more infectious or transmissible. I say without question they were doing this. Anthony Fauci says they weren’t.”

    Paul further noted, “Tomorrow we will have the first gain-of-function hearing on Capitol Hill, the first exploration of this topic in two years. A million Americans died and we have not had one single hearing.”

    “I’m going to ask them was it gain-of-function research that was going on in Wuhan. That doesn’t prove it came from a lab but it proves that dangerous research was happening there and that it could have come from a lab,” the Senator vowed.

    “My question is even if we don’t know for certain, let’s say it is 50/50, that’s still a big probability that it came from a lab. At that point, wouldn’t we want to make sure we’re controlling [it]?” Paul further urged.

    He further explained “We have restrictions on exporting nuclear technology. Should we have restrictions on exporting DNA technology to Communist China? I think yes.”

    As we highlighted earlier this week, Anthony Fauci is complaining that Americans are refusing to “adhere” to COVID restrictions, while asserting that everyone should STILL be wearing masks indoors.

    Last week Fauci told Paul that he could “go ahead” and investigate all he wants.

    “If they’re going to investigate me, I’d like to ask ‘investigate me for what’?” Fauci said, adding “For telling people to get vaccinated? For telling people to wear a mask? For telling people to abide by common sense, good public health practices?”

That was one of the things truckers liked most – the different stores that might be there….and of course the showers, bathrooms, laundry facilities, etc., etc. How stupid is that??!!??       1. there are still “truck stops” here in PA…gas station/diner/shower facilites…but then there are rest stops. bathrooms, grass for your animals and vending machines. that’s it

        1. Yeah, I know there are some on or near the interstates but they just aren’t the same any more. In some cases, it was almost like just a little bit of home for those guys – the friendly, well known faces, same thing always on the menu, home-style cafes, etc., etc.
