The 45th President of the United States, Donald Trump, was unlikely to find the White House in anything other than tip-top condition. [NF: Which we now know was untrue!] However, things weren’t quite the same when the 33rd President of the United States, Harry S. Truman, moved into the residence in 1945. To his surprise and dismay, it had serious problems. Not only was it drafty and creaky – it was downright unsafe. Chandeliers in the house were observed swaying for no apparent reason, and floors moved underneath people’s feet when stepped on.
All of the above resulted in a structural investigation being conducted on the building, revealing haphazard retrofitting, fire hazards and a second floor that was on the verge of collapsing. What’s more, the White House’s foundations were sinking, walls were peeling away, and disused water and gas pipes were weighing down the building and making it unsustainable. The situation was so bad that, in June 1948, one of the legs of First Daughter Margaret Truman’s piano fell right through a floorboard of her second-floor sitting room. This event, along with others, made the Presidential family and its aides realize that serious measures were required to save the historic building.
In 1949, Congress approved a $5.4 million project to gut the building in its entirety, replacing its interior while retaining its historic facade. Architects, engineers, and workers toiled for the next 22 months, trying to figure out how to remove unstable structural elements while somehow ensuring the exterior of the building remained intact. All of the construction equipment used on the site had to be carried inside in pieces, then re-assembled before being used in order to prevent exterior damage. The first and second floors were replaced, while several expansions and basement levels were added, including a bomb shelter that was capable of withstanding a nuclear attack. President Truman and his family returned to reside in the White House in 1952, with a small ceremony marking the occasion. The First Family received a gold key to its newly-refurbished residence.

Good morning! Supposed to be a beautiful day here, with sunshine, low wind and high around 76. But it’s going to be the last day like that for around the next 10 days, allegedly. Cooler temps, cloudy and rain off-and-on. But we need the rain since we are still in the red zone for drought conditions here.

Good morning y’all! Very good stuff about the White House renovations. I had heard bits and pieces about Roosevelt’s pool being under what is now the press room and little things before,; the bowling alley, etc. Have never seen many of these pictures before. As one who has been on many construction sites over the years, I can guarantee this was an “all hands” type of job. Wonder if the plumbers removing the bathtub were out of D.C. Local 5? We shared our apprenticeship school with them. We were one of the few Steamfitters and Plumbers unions that were not a combined Local. Most around the country and Canada are joint Locals now.
On another note, we are supposed to get storms around noon and through the evening. Has been dry and about 90°F the last 2 days.

Well, there’s been a heat wave in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area for the past several days — it was 94 yesterday with humidity, so the “heat index” was 104. Grass pollen and mold levels were off the chart. Yours Truly had to stay inside with the windows closed, the AC cranked, the ceiling fans going. Even with that, my allergies were pretty bad. I was able to walk Solas outside for a little while in the early morning and after 8PM. Same thing going on today. The people around here say that even for late May – early June, this weather is unusual.

EXCERPT: “Senate Democrats considered gun control legislation last week in response to the mass school shooting in Uvalde, Texas, but Republicans questioned whether such a response would actually address the real problem.
“Why is our culture suddenly producing so many young men who want to murder innocent people?” asked Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah. “Could things like fatherlessness, the breakdown of families, isolation from civil society, or the glorification of violence be contributing factors?”
They absolutely are contributing factors, said Lynne Marie Kohm, professor of family law at Regent University School of Law, on “Washington Watch.” “The state of the family makes a huge difference.” After extensive research on juvenile violence, Kohm has compiled a list of five “common denominators for all of these boys” who turn violent:
(Each of these headings includes a brief explanation – see link)
1. “Very little parental involvement.”
2. “Some kind of stress on the child.”
3. “A whole lot of time alone.”
4. “Loss of a sense of truth and morality.”
5. “Incredible lack of remorse.”
While not every neglected youth will become a mass shooter (stress and loneliness also factor in—not to mention personal choices), the pathway to violence appears to begin with absent fathers.
—————–
So, the next time a hardened young man takes his anger out on innocent civilians, a question at least as relevant as “Where did he get a gun?” is “Where did he lose a father figure?”

I think those are relevant points…
it probably started before the feminist movement but when they lied to women and told them they could “have everything” …that contributed–started the isolation…kids being left alone after school while mom worked…then the weekends were cleaning and laundry and further leaving the kids alone. add in the welfare state…which encouraged having children but no fathers in homes…it was a slow plot that we are seeing the fruition of right now

EXCERPT: “A Florida Veterans Affairs hospital refused treatment for a veteran dying of heart failure because first responders could not prove his military service, a clear violation of federal law, according to a new report released by a department watchdog Tuesday.
The incident, which occurred at the Malcom Randall VA Medical Center in Gainesville in summer 2020, was not the first failure by emergency medical staff there to provide care to individuals facing critical medical crises. Staff from the VA Inspector General’s Office said without policy and staffing changes, it may not be the last.
“Although facility leaders implemented actions to address concerns identified … since implementation the actions have not been effective in preventing the occurrence of additional patient incidents,” investigators wrote. “Despite the simulation education and interventions, the OIG learned … that there continue to be delays in the provision of emergency care to patients in the Emergency Department due to inefficient registration processes and practices.”
In a statement to the inspector general, officials at the medical center said the emergency department staff “prioritizes patient care before patient eligibility status when patients present with an emergency medical condition, holds staff accountable when violations occur, and monitors for ongoing compliance.”
But the inspector general found that no individuals have been fired for the 2020 incident, even though prompt action may have saved the veteran’s life. The veteran — identified only as a 60-year-old man who had been treated at Malcom Randall VA Medical Center for heart issues earlier that spring — was rushed to the hospital by a local ambulance after a neighbor found him unconscious at home.”

EXCERPTS: “A new study published by Portugal’s National Institute of Health has uncovered evidence that the virus responsible for the Monkeypox outbreak allegedly sweeping across Europe, America and Australia, has been heavily manipulated in a lab by scientists, and further evidence suggests it has been released intentionally.
———————
Monkeypox illness usually begins with a fever before a rash develops one to five days later, often beginning on the face then spreading to other parts of the body. The rash changes and goes through different stages before finally forming a scab which later falls off. An individual is contagious until all the scabs have fallen off and there is intact skin underneath.
The disease has always ben extremely rare and was first identified in humans in 1970 in the Democratic Republic of the Congo in a 9-year-old boy. Since then, human cases of monkeypox have been reported in 11 African countries. It wasn’t until 2003 that the first monkeypox outbreak outside of Africa was recorded, and this was in the United States, and it has never been recorded in multiple countries at the same time.
Until now. Suddenly, we are being told that cases of monkeypox are now being recorded in the USA, Canada, the UK, Australia, Sweden, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Spain, Italy and Germany, all at the same time.
———————-
But there’s something extremely strange about this outbreak, as if the fact we’re allegedly witnessing an outbreak across first-world countries all at the same time for the first time in history wasn’t strange enough. We don’t believe in coincidences, but there are many people that do. But we imagine those will do will struggle to comprehend this one.
Back in March 2021, the Nuclear Threat Initative (NTI) partnered with the Munich Security Conference to conduct a tabletop exercise on reducing high-consequence biological threats. The exercise examined gaps in national and international biosecurity and pandemic preparedness architectures—exploring opportunities to improve prevention and response capabilities for high-consequence biological events. Here’s the scenario that they conducted:
A monkeypox outbreak that began on May 15th 2022, resulting in 3.2 billion cases and 271 million deaths by December 1st 2023. Are we really to believe it’s just a coincidence that we’re now witnessing an actual monkeypox outbreak, with the first cases being reported to the World Health Organisation on May 13th 2022?

EXCERPT: “The Uvalde Police Department and the Uvalde Independent School District Police have stopped cooperating with the Texas Department of Public Safety’s (DPS) investigation into the response to last week’s mass shooting at Robb Elementary School, ABC News reports.
The decision to stop cooperating came shortly after the Friday news conference when DPS Director Col. Steven McCraw said the delayed police entry into the classroom was “the wrong decision” and went against protocol, several law enforcement sources told the news outlet.
Uvalde police have faced intense scrutiny after officers responding to the shooting at the elementary school waited outside the classroom for up to 90 minutes as the 18-year-old gunman shot and killed children and teachers inside.
According to The Daily Wire, the state DPS and the federal government have begun probes into the response of local law enforcement.”

Our job, as prosecutors, is to remain neutral and review all evidence. Our review of body cam videos provided the actual accounting of events that night.
Our review of the investigation revealed the defendant, although she denied having a weapon at the time of the encounter with law enforcement officers, continually displayed a weapon during her encounter with police officers and also appeared to be attempting to flee. The two officers stated that she was armed with what they believed to be a handgun. Body camera footage confirms the officers’ statements that Hale was holding a handgun. Still photos, taken from body cam footage, of this encounter also demonstrate a weapon was present and in the hands of the defendant.”

EXCERPT: “An Australian primary school predicted “microchips in student’s brains” within 10 years before subsequently deleting the newsletter that contained the creepy prophecy. The bizarre entry was featured in the May 26 edition of the Preston West Primary school’s newsletter, which listed a number of prosaic things the school envisages will be helpful to educating children in a decade.
They include “more mental health awareness,” “more buildings and development,” as well as “technological advances for teachers and students.” However, also included on this list is “microchips in student’s brains to promote intelligence and memory.”
——————-
Although the newsletter was deleted by the school (it appears all their newsletters have been wiped), proof it was originally posted can be seen via the Google search cache below.
As we have previously highlighted, implantable microchips are moving closer to becoming commonplace, particularly as countries embrace the digital ID and a cashless society. The BBC recently reported on people getting implanted with microchips in their arms in order to make purchases in a more convenient way. We also highlighted how people in Sweden are willingly having COVID vaccine passports placed onto implantable microchips in their hands.
Cartoon villain and World Economic Forum chief Klaus Schwab wrote in his book ‘The Great Reset’ that the fourth industrial revolution would “lead to a fusion of our physical, digital and biological identity,” which in his book he clarifies is implantable microchips that can read your thoughts.”

EXCERPT: “EXCLUSIVE – A presentation given to counselors at a Texas school encouraged them to refer students, who wished to transition to one biological sex to another, directly to a private company rather than notifying the student’s parents, according to a letter sent from America First Legal to the school district.
According to the letter, during a “day of professional learning” at the Clear Creek Independent School District, a presentation was given regarding topics related to gender identity by a staff member from the Montrose Center, which “empowers our community—primarily [LGBTQ] individuals and their families—to live healthier, more fulfilling lives.”
The letter, which was sent on behalf of an America First Legal client, noted that two weeks after the presentation, the school sent an email to counselors to “clarify district expectation as it relates to working with gay, lesbian, and transgender students.” The email clarified that the school expects counselors to use state statute and school board policies “to guide their work, rather than the practices and graphics shared by the Montrose Center.”
The Montrose Center has not released the contents of the presentation provided to the school counselors, according to the letter, “claiming that the presentation is proprietary intellectual property.”
—————————
“However, the School District has taken no additional actions to secure the PowerPoint presentation slides and to comply with its responsibilities under the Texas Public Information Act,” the letter continued. Ian Prior, a senior adviser at America First Legal, told Fox News Digital that seeing the communication and contract between the school district and the Montrose Center was important to ensure the release of the presentation given to teachers.
“I would be pretty shocked if there was anything in there that actually prevented, or where the school district agreed that materials used in teacher trainings could not be provided to parents. Because that, in and of itself, could potentially be a violation of law,” he said.”

EXCERPT: “The Supreme Court will soon issue an opinion in a major Second Amendment case over whether New Yorkers have the right to carry concealed handguns in public for self-defense, which many legal experts say could lead to the expansion of gun rights.
Justices on the high court, which has a 6-3 Republican-appointed majority, are expected to issue an opinion no later than late June or early July in the case New York State Rifle & Pistol Association Inc. v. Bruen. The case involves two men who were denied a special need or “proper cause” license to carry a concealed pistol or revolver that is required under a New York law that has been in place since 1913.
Carrie Severino, the president of the prominent conservative group the Judicial Crisis Network, told the Washington Examiner the challenge with New York’s restrictive law is that it “effectively makes it impossible” to obtain an open or concealed carry permit “without having some specific threat against you.”
“The idea is you kind of need to have some specific threat against you. So, living in a really dangerous neighborhood doesn’t matter,” Severino said, arguing that the Second Amendment is broadly meant to apply to the general public.
The plaintiffs who challenged the law, Robert Nash and Brandon Koch, filed their lawsuit after the Empire State rejected their concealed carry applications over insufficiently demonstrating a special need for a permit despite having already passed required background checks for gun licenses for hunting and target practice.”

EXCEERPT: “(CNS News) – The Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) filed a brief with the Supreme Court last week in defense of a graphic artist who is being told by Colorado officials that she cannot refuse work that promotes same-sex marriage, a position that the artist, Lorie Smith, says violates her religious beliefs.
Lorie Smith, an artist and web designer in the Denver area, runs 303 Creative, an LLC that provides services in marketing, graphics, websites and events. A self-described Christian, Smith states on her website, “ I am selective about the messages that I create or promote – while I will serve anyone I am always careful to avoid communicating ideas or messages, or promoting events, products, services, or organizations, that are inconsistent with my religious beliefs.”
Under Colorado’s Anti-Discrimination Act (CADA), however, public businesses cannot deny their services to someone “because of… sexual orientation.” It also prohibits businesses from sharing “communication” that hinders “full and equal enjoyment” of the goods provided.
Smith is legally challenging the CADA. The case is now before the Supreme Court because the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit ruled (2-1) against Smith in July 2021.
————————-
“Smith decides which commissions to accept based on what the message is, not who is requesting it,” reads the brief. “She has designed graphics and created websites for religious and non-religious groups advocating for causes that align with her beliefs, no matter the client’s identity. The question is always what message will be expressed.”
Smith’s case is not the only one challenging Colorado’s Civil Rights Commission that has reached the Supreme Court. In fact, Smith’s juridical predecessor designed her wedding cake, according to Andrea Picciotti-Bayer, director of the Conscience Project, in an EWTN interview.
Masterpiece Cakeshop owner Jack Phillips made headlines in 2018, six years after declining to design a wedding cake for Charlie Craig and David Mullins, a same-sex couple. Like Smith, Phillips based his decision on his religious beliefs.”

EXCERPT: “Will there be any culture left when the culture war is over? Our culture is what we hand on to our children, but the West isn’t having children. The birth rates are down, and people are wondering why we aren’t having babies. Our men and women aren’t making big families and our communities are becoming sterile and childless. This is a crisis that’s been building for generations. Sterility is the real climate change crisis of our time. The poles are melting but it’s not the ice caps, it’s the sex symbols.
We have trashed our sex symbols in only three generations. The icons of male and female have been ruined by equality of the sexes, and the West has become almost indistinguishable from The Rocky Horror Picture Show. We’re being terrorized by maniacal transvestites who want a genderless future. And yet the men and women who are opposed to the destruction of their sex are not unifying to revolt and create families. Without cultivating families, we have no culture. So how were we spoiled and sterilized in the first place?
We dressed our children in pink and blue, but we didn’t colour their language. We forgot to talk to children as future mothers and fathers. How we talk to our children is how we cultivate them, and the LGBT cultists grooming your kids understand this. They want to destroy sexual dimorphism and warp gender from the cradle. Their obsession with linguistics and sexual identity hits the foundation of our civilization. It’s why they are in kindergartens to enforce their barbarous dialect on your children. Our mother tongue is under attack and the maniacs are on target. They understand what conservatives have forgotten: that masculine men and feminine women are created through language.
——————–
We must become unequal to stick together and unite in family life. The only way to cultivate unequal children is through language and storytelling to show boys and girls how to speak and act in polarity, not equality. We train our children in the way they should go in stories. Drag Queen Story Hour is the Rocky Horror Picture Show for your children. It’s a linguistic sex-change program. The drag scientists want to destroy the virtue of children and their sense of sexual reality. How can we repair the damage that these “Frank-N-Furter’s” have done to the little Brad and Janets of the world? Traditionalists need to talk ourselves out of this deadly transgendered sterility and back into our right minds as masculine and feminine creators. We must teach children to talk unequally and uniquely. If we restore the culture of opposites, we can restore the sex symbols. Our culture depends on it.”

Entire article @ AmericanThinker: “On May 28, Sky News Australia posted a video titled “New York bearing signs of ‘societal decay.'” The video shows a man (who seems as if he is on drugs) entering a train car and sitting next to a young woman. He then touches her without consent, grabs her, drags her around a bit, and generally is an extremely unpleasant nuisance. He eventually leaves her alone and proceeds to try to kick out one of the windows.
During the video, the young woman is seen looking at other passengers, with obvious worry in her eyes, begging somebody to please “help me.” Nobody tries to help her. The news anchor, Rita Panahi, asks the question, “Where are the men?”
If I had to guess, they were standing in their place, checking their male privilege, toning down their toxic masculinity, and coping with how their Time’s Up. Perhaps the men wanted a demonstration of how women are actually the stronger sex. Perhaps the threat level just did not seem that high to them; New York has a duty to retreat, after all. Besides, New York has been in the habit of arresting those who defend themselves.
Most likely, the men who were on the train did not care about this woman. They did not know her and were not likely to ever get to know her. How could it be worth it for these men to possibly be killed or maimed (it is unknown if the aggressor had a knife) for the sake of someone who may as well not exist to them?
Then again, let us give these men the benefit of the doubt. Perhaps they probably did want to help this woman. Watching the video, you might notice something about the aggressor. My guess is that none of the men watching wanted to become the next George Zimmerman. We all saw the emotional toll Kyle Rittenhouse suffered for defending himself. (Yes, the media vilified him for having an emotional testimony.)
The anchor refers to the men on the train as cowards, but I think that might be a bit unfair. Quite simply, Western society does not trust people who defend themselves or others. In 2016, a 17-year-old Danish girl was arrested for defending herself with pepper spray from a would-be-rapist. In 2020, a Virginia store clerk was arrested for defending his store from robbers. Even an elderly U.K. pensioner was arrested for “stabbing a burglar to death.” It is entirely possible that those men had such cases in mind.
In the armed defense community, there is a common phrase: “better to be judged by twelve than carried by six.” In most cases, this is true; it is better to be alive to face trial than to be dead. But is it better to be condemned by society than to let a crime happen to another person? How difficult is it to imagine anyone who may have intervened being decried as racist?
I can see the headlines maligning any actions taken as being racially motivated or entirely aggressive. Let us not forget the videos posted without context of the Covington kids, or how Darren Wilson maliciously killed an unarmed teenager. Perhaps the media would issue corrections for the “mistakes” made in the reports, but no doubt the names, faces, and workplaces of those involved would have already been exposed.
Miss Panahi was definitely right about one thing: society is declining. The signs are legion and everywhere, but it is not necessary to get into that here. I just want to make the case that cowardice may not have been the only reason that no men acted that day, especially considering the society that fostered these men.
Breason Jacak is a pen name.”

EXCERPT: “The State of California, which entered the Union in 1850 as a free state, has issued a 492-page interim report recommending the state pay reparations for slavery and for other acts of racial injustice, nationally and locally, over the last two centuries. The report, issued by the California’s Task Force to Study and Develop Reparation Proposals for African Americans, is the outcome of deliberations that were launched last June when Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) signed AB 3121 into law.
The nine-member panel, which is predominantly black, deadlocked for months over the question of who should benefit from proposed reparations — whether all people of color, or only those who could prove that they were directly descended from slaves.
Ultimately, the panel decided to focus more narrowly, but the legislative recommendations of the interim report include broad measures that would apply to all “Black Californians,” such as a proposal to “[e]stimate the value of Black-owned businesses and property in California stolen or destroyed through acts of racial terror, distribute this amount back to Black Californians, and make housing grants, zero-interest business and housing loans and grants available to Black Californians.”
The interim report also proposes creating a separate system of publicly-funded black schools, described as “African American/American Freedmen owned and controlled K-12 schools, colleges and universities, trade and professional schools.”
(It is not clear how this would be done, since the state’s constitution prohibits discrimination by the state on the basis of race.)”

i think their previous reparations program–also called no harm, no foul you can steal $950 and not go to jail–is sufficient.

Even that should be pulled back! No-one should be allowed to steal ANYTHING! Period!

I foresee a pile of regulations coming for parasail operators!!!!
EXCERPT: “A 33-year-old mother was tragically killed, while her son and nephew were injured, in a parasailing accident where they collided with the Seven Mile Bridge in the Florida Keys on Memorial Day.
Supraja Alaparthi, of Schaumburg, Illinois, was parasailing with her son Sriakshith, ten, and her nephew Vishant Sadda, nine, near Pigeon Key in the late afternoon, according to a Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) report obtained by Breitbart News. While sailing, the weather changed suddenly, as John Callion, who was boating in the area at the time, described the conditions going from “flat calm” to suddenly stormy “in a matter of seconds.”
The FWC report stated that Captain Daniel Couch cut the line from the boat that was carrying the three family members after “a strong gust of wind ‘pegged’ the parasail.” “Pegging a parasail,” as described by the commission, “is an industry term or jargon to describe when the parasail chute becomes controlled by the weather conditions (wind speed) and not by the operation of the vessel.”
——————–
The captain of the boat carrying the parasail has received criticism from a local parasailing safety expert regarding his decision to cut the line. “He never should have done that,” Mark McCulloh, chairman of the Parasail Safety Council, told the Herald. “That’s the golden rule. Do not cut the line.”
McCulloh “said the captain should have known other tactics, like steering the boat side to side, which would have deflated the parasail,” the Herald wrote.”

Article specifically mentions ABC and Fox. EXCERPT: “Some media outlets incorrectly claim cooperation between state and local police officials in the investigation of the Robb Elementary School shooting stopped. Specifically, some claim the Uvalde Police Department (UPD) and the Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District Police Department (UCISDPD) stopped cooperating with an investigation led by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) into the shooting that left 19 children and two adults dead and dozens wounded.
Breitbart Texas spoke to a DPS spokesperson who said any information indicating there is a lack of cooperation by the Uvalde Police Department or the Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District Police with the ongoing investigation by the Texas Rangers is inaccurate.
An official statement from the DPS reads: “The Uvalde Police Department and Uvalde CISD Police have been cooperating with investigators. The chief of the Uvalde CISD Police provided an initial interview but has not responded to a request for a followup interview with the Texas Rangers that was made two days ago.”
The spokesperson did not speculate on the reasons for the lack of response from UCISD Police Chief Arredondo.”

EXCERPT: “Former President Donald Trump threatened to sue the Pulitzer Prize Board if they do not revoke the prizes awarded to The New York Times and The Washington Post over their reporting that fueled the hoax that Trump and his campaign colluded with Russia in the 2016 presidential election.
In a letter dated May 27 but released Tuesday, Trump wrote to Pulitzer Prize administrator Marjorie Miller:
‘There is no dispute that the Pulitzer Board’s award to those media outlets was based on false and fabricated information that they published.
The continuing publication and recognition of the prizes on the Board’s website is a distortion of fact and a personal defamation that will result in the filing of litigation if the Board cannot be persuaded to do the right thing on its own.
In light of additional recent evidence that the articles for which that prize was awarded contained incontrovertibly false information that misled the public, I again call on your organization to maintain its own credibility by rescinding that prize to The New York Times and The Washington Post.’
Trump’s efforts come after the former President called on the board to rescind both organizations’ 2018 prizes in October and November of last year. In his most recent letter, Trump drew attention to the criminal trial of Michal Sussman, a former Hillary Clinton campaign lawyer whom the U.S. Department of Justice prosecuted on charges of lying to the FBI.”

How about an uplifting, happy story?
Entire Article @ BB: “Heartwarming footage captured the moment an adopted boy from Sierra Leone, who now lives in Charlotte, North Carolina, was brought to tears when he caught a glimpse of his first-ever birthday cake.
A viral video posted to Jaimie Walker’s Facebook, showing her son Abraham receiving his cake, has garnered nearly 40,000 Facebook shares and some 56,000 interactions. The video shows the family singing Happy Birthday to Abraham as he is overcome with emotion, hiding his face in his hands as tears roll down his cheeks. When the cake is set in front of him, he runs over to his father and hugs him before blowing out his candles.
“What a gift He is. What a gift this moment was. Incredibly simple yet wholly significant,” she wrote in her Facebook post. “As it unfolded it dawned on me that Abraham would have no idea what ‘make a wish’ meant so we let him have a redo.”
While speaking with Queen City News, Abraham described the rich meaning he felt when he received his cake. “We never knew about something called a birthday,” he explained. “It just feels like God is showing all the blessings in you. Everybody in the whole world is giving you their best love that they have ever given. That is what it feels like to have that cake.”
In October 2021, Joe Walker and Jamie adopted brothers Abraham and James after getting to know the boys, WCNC reported. It all began when Joe “took a trip down to Sierra Leone with his friend who started an orphanage there.” While at the orphanage, Joe met James, and the pair hit it off. After Joe returned home, James kept up with the Walker family through monthly Skype sessions, but trouble struck in the months that followed when he was “forced out of the orphanage,” according to the outlet.
Joe purchased a cell phone for James so they could keep in contact, and after James returned to his village, Joe was introduced to his younger sibling Abraham, WCNC noted. Eventually, with the help of a team, he worked out a plan to get the boys into the orphanage, and after another trip to Africa to see the pair, Joe had an epiphany.
“And by then we had formed this really special connected bond,” Joe told WCNC. “And I came home from that trip and said to my wife, ‘I just feel like there’s more being asked of us.’”
When presented with the idea of adoption, their four children were instantly on board with having James and Abraham as their two new siblings and the brothers from Sierra Leone were eager to join the Walker Family, WCNC noted. The siblings made it to their new home last fall after a delay in the adoption process due to the coronavirus pandemic and restrictions that followed.
“I love them more than they can ever imagine in the world,” Abraham told Queen City News of his family. “They’re the ones that showed me to the world, and showed me what happiness is, and showed me what love is, and showed me what it means to have a family around you,” he continued. “I really, really want to say thank you to them for that.”

Entire Article from Emerald Robinson: “There’s an incredible election story developing in Georgia right now — in the same week that the U.S. Federal Government has been forced to admit that Dominion Voting machines (used in all of Georgia’s counties) are vulnerable to hacking and should be fixed!
According to the local paper Decaturish: DeKalb County (GA) just released the results of a hand count in the District 2County Commission primary race — and the hand count revealed such massive discrepancies between the May 24th machine results and the June 1 hand count that it has flipped the race! Here are the initial May 24th election results.
It’s important to note that these reported results counted 12,639 votes in total for all candidates in the race. Now look at the results of the hand count released yesterday!
The machines did not count 2,810 votes at all — mostly from Election Day ballots. That’s almost 20% of the total votes that mysteriously disappeared! The machines also counted only 589 votes for the candidate Michelle Long Spears on May 24th and placed her third in the race but the June 1st hand count discovered 3,491 more votes for her. Suddenly, she’s winning the race.
The winner of the May 24th machine count was Marshall Orson — the hand count reduced his total by 1,298 votes and now he’s in third place. Orson made a very telling statement after the hand count results were announced as well.
The real bombshell is why there was a hand count conducted at all in this race. It only happened because the candidate Michelle Long Spears took pictures of the precinct-level results and showed them to the local media site Decaturish and those machine “results” showed that Michelle Long Spears was getting zero votes in her own precinct. In other words: obvious fraud. Here’s the key section of the Decaturish article.
New and corrupt databases created ! Mistakes in the precinct scanners! Thousands of votes not counted! Thousands of votes miscounted for multiple candidates! Hand counts conducted to correct the machine counts! Guess what folks: it’s called election fraud using the electronic voting machines. Are you ready for the best part of the story? It’s a primary race for Democrats.”

saw a story on gwp…a moose slime woman and her 2 twin 7 yr old boys ordered sandwiches at McDonald’s…and took them to go. when they got to a park and opened them, one fish sandwich was “loaded” with bacon. the son was “starving” and so he ate the bottom bun and the fish filet. when they got home, her husband was furious and brought the remains of the sandwich back to Mcd’s where he got a full refund. Now they are discriminating for a hate crime…

here’s the photo
the comments on the story are calling bs on the story as a hate crime…and the fact that a true moose slime would not touch anything that bacon has touched…and the bacon looks too thick for mcd’s…and so on

How the hell is McD’s supposed to know they’re Muslim? As fast as they go in the kitchen, it is understandable that someone could make a simple mistake! Does she have a thick accent? Perhaps they misunderstood? It could be all kinds of things! SMDH
