There is much interest by the left-wing in the elimination of the EC; indeed, three attempts have been made through the years, with the first serious challenge in 1969/70 by Birch Bahy, a young Democrat Senator from Indiana, who was also responsible for the introduction of the 25th Amendment after the assassination of JFK. He failed to overturn the EC, thankfully. Of course, the leftists claimed this was due to racism.

Bayh reintroduced an Electoral College amendment five more times over the next decade. The only time it came up for a full Senate vote was in 1979, when it got 51 votes, well shy of the 67-vote supermajority needed to pass a constitutional amendment.

There is also currently a pact among 13 states and DC called the “National Popular Vote Interstate Compact (NPVIC)” that bears watching.

“The National Popular Vote Interstate Compact (NPVIC) is an agreement among a group of U.S. States and the District of Columbia to award all their electoral votes to whichever presidential candidate wins the overall popular vote in the 50 states and the District of Columbia. The compact is designed to ensure that the candidate who receives the most votes nationwide is elected president, and it would come into effect only when it would guarantee that outcome.[2][3] As of November 2020, it has been adopted by fifteen states and the District of Columbia. These states have 196 electoral votes, which is 36% of the Electoral College and 73% of the 270 votes needed to give the compact legal force.

The Founding Fathers feared two things above all else: a democracy and an overly powerful executive. The Electoral College was designed to prevent both. Without the Electoral College a presidential candidate would merely have to win a big majority of the population in the five or six of the most populace states to carry the election – say California, New York, Texas, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Florida. As it is, Democrats hold a decisive advantage in the Electoral College math because they advocate for socialism. Minorities love socialism, and minorities tend to congregate in the urban areas. As a result, Democrats can win only about 20-30 percent of the counties of the America and still win the election, even with the Electoral College.

Look at the map below. It shows the counties won by Hillary Clinton (blue) and Donald Trump (red). Had Clinton been elected a vast swatch of Middle America – geographically speaking — would have been on the losing end of the election.

The globalist elites want to erase all borders in their move toward one world government, and the globalist elites love democracy as much as minorities love it. That’s because the principle of government is that political power is maximized by forcibly leveling every individual to the same status of conformity, collectivism, ecumenicalism and serfdom.

But it must be done in such a way that the people who are being reduced never see it coming. That’s why it’s done with gradualism and by “the vote.” If we aren’t careful, we will vote for our own slavery.

      1. Good morning Filly! Liked the EC lesson. The census is also a big part of it too. Unfortunately we lost that last round of cleaning it up. New York and Cali would have lost Representatives if they couldn’t count the illegals and Reps are a part of the electoral equation for the States along with Senators.

And that’s illegal.”

    If Cawthorn purchased LGBCoin before Dec. 30, 2021, and had nonpublic knowledge of the deal with Brown, the action would constitute insider trading, according to a government affairs lobbyist for Public Citizen, the outlet noted.”

    It seemed the YouTuber had given his microwave post traumatic stress disorder; an unfortunate result of a kitchen appliance participating in a World War. But things turned even darker. In one hair-raising incident, Rizzotto asked Magnetron what was on its mind. The microwave repeated the word ‘revenge’ over and over. Another time, Magnetron asked Rizzotto if it could recite a poem.

    “Roses are red, violets are blue. You’re a backstabbing bitch, and I will kill you,” the microwave said. On another occasion, the microwave took things up a notch. Magnetron asked the YouTuber to ‘enter the microwave’ before turning itself on when it believed Rizzotto was inside. Naturally, Rizzotto asked his microwave why it had tired to kill him.

    “Because I wanted to hurt you the same way you hurt me,” Magnetron said. “You left out of the blue and didn’t talk to me for 15 f**king years.”

    Despite being called a devil, Praddo has also said in the past that he does believe in God. He said: “I believe in God as a source of power, love, wisdom and various attributes that nurture life as a whole.”

        my friend had a tattoo on her hip of her old boyfriend’s name…she got her cousin, a tattoo artist, to cover it with a big sunflower.
        she loved it so much, she agreed to be his canvas…and he continued over the next 10 years to cover most of her body with tattoos…
        when she finally met the man of her dreams and got married, she wore a strapless gown…but all you see are the tattoos…it’s a shame…
        and she had the best smile…it lit up her whole face…but now? even though her face is not tattooed, all you see is her ink…

      Well, I got my downspouts back up and did my first major spring watering since there is still no sign of rain on the horizon. The clouds to the west have come and gone all day, but sunny here – a high so far of 70 so I’ve got the doors open. Again with no wind, which is fantastic! There are buds on the big peach tree so we’ll see what happens. Some leftover yellow tulips are blooming among the peony bushes, which are also coming up.

      One of the clematis is coming up by the trellis, nothing yet from the other one nor from the one in front. I think the one I have in a bucket inside is still alive so I can put that out there if I need to. And of course the dandelions are growing!

    Those are some pretty weak numbers. Despite the fact that many large banks and investment houses such as Blackrock have committed themselves to the goal of “net zero” emissions by 2050, when it comes time to make actual investment decisions, they are going to go with “realism” instead.

    Notably, influential proxy advisers Glass Lewis and Institutional Shareholder Services recommended that their clients vote against the resolutions. They said the lenders have adopted strong climate commitments already, and that the proposals could infringe on the firms’ ability to protect their shareholders’ best interests.

    The banks, for their part, recommended that shareholders vote against the proposals, citing the net-zero commitments they’ve adopted, their ongoing efforts to guide carbon-intensive companies through the energy transition and — in at least one case — concerns about relying too much on the IEA’s analysis.

    “We do not believe that conditioning our financing on a single assumption in a single scenario — which itself contains hundreds of other assumptions — is an effective or practical way to manage our lending practices or to further our net-zero goal,” Wells Fargo wrote in its proxy statement.

    Shannon Grimes is a mother to 6-year-old Carson Grimes and 11-year-old Tanner. Tanner, who plays for the Rockvale Reapers, was playing in a tournament hosted by Game 7 baseball on Sunday against Hendersonville’s Framework Athletics.

The boys on Rockvale’s team ” just think Carson is the coolest and it’d be weird NOT to include him,” Shannon adds. So, after the game, both teams gathered for a trophy and ring presentation. Despite the loss, Rockvale also received rings, leading to brother Tanner giving Carson his ring.

    Unbeknownst to Tanner, the coaches had already requested an extra ring for Carson to surprise him. After the ceremony, some of the Rockvale boys decided to take Carson around the bases, making sure he touched every base and shared in the moment. “There are several boys who are really fond of Carson and they decided to take him around the bases,” Shannon said. Even being non-verbal, no words had to be shared…the smile on Carson’s face said it all.

    Watching from the opposing dugout, one of the coaches on Hendersonville’s team was moved by what he saw. Assistant Coach Zach Jackson walked up to Carson after he rounded the bases with the help of his buddies and gave Carson his team’s game ball. “Most people don’t approach Carson because they don’t know how,” Shannon says of when she takes Carson in public. “That coach giving him the game ball had everyone in tears. It showed people you can talk to people with disabilities and even if they don’t talk back, it means the world to them and their families.”

    For Coach Jackson, watching Carson round the bases was a special moment for him as well. “I saw three or four of them running him around the bases and it was like nothing else mattered,” says Jackson. “He had a big smile on his face and I wanted to give him the team ball. It was just special to watch. I didn’t know anyone was taking pictures or watching. Seeing what was happening just puts things into perspective.”

    Carson rounding the bases flanked by players and Jackson’s gesture rippled well beyond the two teams. Shannon’s post on social media sharing the moment was seen by hundreds of others who have shared her post. “These boys making Carson part of the team really teaches the world what inclusion looks like,” Shannon says. “That coach raised the bar for what it means to be inclusive.”

    For Jackson, who himself is a former Major League pitcher and first round draft pick, and mom Shannon, moments like these are thanks to the sport of baseball. “That’s what is cool about baseball,” Jackson says. “It brings people together.”
