In honor of the holiday named for politicians (April Fools, I made that up), I am proposing a simple game. Try to determine which of the following statements are true or made up. Sounds simple, right? Ready?

- The original London Bridge is currently in Arizona.

2. You can purchase alien abduction insurance in Florida.

3. KFC produced edible nail polish in Hong Kong in the flavors Original and Hot & Spicy.

4. There’s a church–The United Church of Bacon–whose mission statement is “Hail Piggy, full of grease, the Lard is with thee.”

5. There was a program in NYC & Washington,DC called Joints for Jabs which provided a rolled joint upon proof of vaccination.

So what do you think? Got these figured out?
Take your time…I can wait…
Okay…here we go…
- The original London Bridge IS in Arizona.
Where is the London Bridge in Arizona? The London Bridge is in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, at the northern and western edges of the Sonoran Desert. It was originally located in London, England, where it spanned the River Thames for over 130 years. There have actually been several different bridges called the London Bridge in the same location along the Thames over the past 2,000 years. This London Bridge was built to replace the Old London Bridge in 1831, which had been in place for over 600 years. The old bridge was too narrow to support the volume of traffic crossing each day, and its narrow arches blocked boat traffic on the river.
Robert McCulloch, an American business owner and millionaire who was building Lake Havasu City at the time, saw the bridge sale as an opportunity to attract tourists and residents to his new Arizona city. He put in a bid of $2.4 million for the bridge, doubling how much it would cost the city of London to dismantle the bridge, and adding $60,000 – $1,000 for each year of his age when the bridge was reconstructed in Lake Havasu City. His bid was accepted, and work began to dismantle the bridge and transport it across the Atlantic Ocean to the United States.

2. You CAN purchase alien abduction insurance in Florida.
UFO Abduction Insurance Company
This Florida insurer has been writing alien abduction insurance policies since 1987. Located in Altamonte Springs, the company says its policies are perfect “for anyone who thinks they have everything covered.”
You can purchase $10 million in alien abduction insurance for a single lifetime premium of $19.95. You’ll receive a “gold bordered” policy claim form and a frequent flyer endorsement, according to the company’s website.
Policyholders can claim the $10 million if they can prove they were taken by “aliens not from this planet” and then returned. Of course, they will need one of the aliens on the ship to sign the claim form. Once a claim is approved, the beneficiary will be distributed $1 a year for 10 million years, or until their passing.
This payout doubles to $20 million if the aliens insist on conjugal visits, if the encounter results in any offspring, or if the aliens refer to the abductee as a nutritional food source.

3. KFC DID release edible nail polish in those flavors in Hong Kong.
HONG KONG (CBS) — This really gives “Finger Lickin’ Good” a whole new meaning.
KFC has made edible nail polish – in Original and Hot & Spicy flavors – to promote its fast food restaurants in Hong Kong.
https://boston.cbslocal.com/2016/05/05/kfc-edible-nail-polish-hong-kong-original-hot
4. There IS a church in Las Vegas called The United Church of Bacon. Their mission statement is “Hail Piggy, full of grease. The Lard is with thee.”
The church’s clergy members — who have the authority to officiate weddings and conduct baptisms and funerals — are called friars. The opening lines of “Hail Piggy: A Prayer for Bacon,” a play on Catholicism’s “Hail Mary,” are a medley of porky puns, such as, “Hail Piggy, full of grease, the Lard is with thee.” Clearly, some flavorful strategy has been put into the congregation’s principles.
5. There WAS a program in NYC and Washington DC called “Joints for Jabs” giving every person who had at least I cv shot a free joint.
Authorities in the US capital have been working around the clock to open up the state, as seen by the relaxing of its prior restrictions against breweries, pubs, salons, restaurants and so on – where some of these now even give out a free appetiser, drink or cup of coffee for proof of vaccination. Others were even authorised to arrange prize giveaways and free tickets to landmark sports events. However, their most daring venture yet just saw them setting up the ‘Joints for Jabs’ program, which aims to incentivise the vaccine rollout by giving out a free ‘blunt’ to each successful recipient of the vaccine – yes, you heard me, free weed for anyone who gets vaccinated!

Are you keeping score? That’s right…ALL of them are true…wait for it…

Koons get caught on film allegedly forging signatures on an election petition in a parking lot in his car. video in the story. he wanred to challenge elise stefanik
FTA
The Daily Caller contacted Koons about the videos and the signatures to which he responded by saying, “I have been preparing a press release of my own to announce that I am suspending my campaign due to a lack of funds and that I cannot afford to stay afloat because I have been on disability for 6 plus weeks at half my pay.”
“I will reevaluate a future run but currently I cannot afford to stay in this race and need to get back to work as am by definition, blue collar. As for Ticonderoga Walmart; I was indeed in my car filling out paperwork; some in regards to my campaign and some in regards to the disability issues I have been dealing with MetLife and the Hartford improperly paying my disability due to rotate cuff / bicep surgery. I had received a very good reception in Ticonderoga and had spoken to quite a few local businesses that support the idea of an average American trying to stand up,” Koons added.

mess with the bull…you get the horns. after disney opened their mouths about the new anti-sexualizing children bill, Florida legislature began to examine an old law basically allowing disney to govern itself. they are considering revoking it.
FTA
DeSantis referenced a bill reining in big tech that Republicans were working through the legislature last year when Disney added a “carve out” at the “11th hour” for theme parks.
“I’m thinking to myself, ‘This is ridiculous,’” DeSantis said. “Honestly, it was embarrassing.”
DeSantis continued, “I think what has happened is there’s a lot of these special privileges that are not justifiable, but because Disney had held so much sway, they were able to sustain a lot of special treatment over the years.”
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis addresses a joint session of a legislative session, Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2022, in Tallahassee, Florida.
DeSantis said that Disney has “lost a lot of the pull that they used to have” over the company’s reaction to the parental rights law and said he thinks that’s a “good thing for our state because the state should be governed by the best interest of the people.”
“I would say any special privileges that are in law I would like to get rid of generally,” DeSantis added. “I think in this particular case with Disney, I just don’t think you have very many people in the legislature anymore who are going to be able to defend a lot of what has been done over many years to really have them almost govern themselves in some of these things. That was probably never appropriate to start, but is certainly not appropriate now at this point.”
DeSantis’s comments comes after Florida State Rep. Spencer Roach tweeted that he has met with legislators to discuss repealing the self-governing law in response to Disney’s recent actions.
“Yesterday was the 2nd meeting in a week w/fellow legislators to discuss a repeal of the 1967 Reedy Creek Improvement Act, which allows Disney to act as its own government,” Roach tweeted. “If Disney wants to embrace woke ideology, it seems fitting that they should be regulated by Orange County.”

so cia director Burns testified he cut ties with ccp influence groups right after he inherited the presidency at Carnegie Endowment for International Peace LIED. (is this the same director recently saying he has cv?)
FTA
In response, Burns claimed that “…on the China-U.S. Exchange Foundation, this is a relationship that I inherited when I became president of Carnegie and that I ended not long after I became president precisely for the concerns that you just described because we were increasingly worried about the expansion of Chinese influence operations. Shortly after I ended that relationship, we began a program at the Carnegie Endowment on countering foreign influence operations which was aimed mostly at China and Russia and was supported in part from a grant from the Global Engagement Center at the State Department in the last administration.”
But Burns’s think tank continued to accept funds and collaborate with officials tied to CUSEF during his tenure, and recently released another research paper on the subject of cyber attacks, in partnership with CUSEF and other Chinese Communist Party-funded institutions. The paper, released March 2022, is the latest piece of evidence contradicting Burns’s assertions.
The 76-pager – “Managing U.S.-China Tensions Over Public Cyber Attribution” – is the second joint research publication produced by the Shanghai Institutes for International Studies (SIIS) in collaboration with the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.
A foreword to the work by SIIS President Chen Dongxiao thanks CUSEF for its “generous support” of the effort.

The t-shirt….from the Holiday Inn in Crawfordsville, IN. That was where we used to meet my parents in early summer when she went to visit with them in NE. We always stayed at that HI because – most important of all – they had a swimming pool!!! HB always wanted to swim! Of course, the fact that it was almost exactly halfway between VA and NE, and right off of the interstate, also made it the perfect location.

I went to Family $ to pick up a few dry goods, one of them being Cheerios. I’ve always loved ’em and it’s something I can eat easily at the moment. They had the big family size of regular Cheerios for $4.79/box. No regular size boxes of the regular flavor but tons of the Honey-Nut kind. For $4.09/box! Huh???? Now WTH about that makes sense??!!??
The regular size boxes are much thinner now and are normally only about 2/3 full, if that. The family size box was, of course, much wider – close to twice the width, actually – and filled to 3/4. For an extra $.70!!!!

Huh! Something is clearly going on in France these days!!!!
EXCERPT: “The French government has moved to dissolve an Antifa group in Lyon over calls for violence against police and violent actions, marking the first time in 40 years the French government has dissolved a far-left extremist group.
French government spokesman Gabriel Attal announced the dissolution of Anti-Fascist Group Lyon and Surroundings, or Groupe antifasciste Lyon et Environs (GALE) in French, earlier this week under a 1936 law originally aimed at far-right extremist groups.
“We have adopted the dissolution of the de facto group known as the anti-fascist group Lyon and surroundings known for its violent actions, its calls to hatred and its virulent and incessant incitement to attack our police forces,” Attal said, broadcaster Franceinfo reports.
“We will respect the republican order to the end and in the face of all those who threaten it,” Attal added.”

EXCERPT: “Florida Republicans now overtake Democrats in voter registration by over 100,000, Gov. Ron DeSantis’s (R) office revealed this week.
The governor, who has keenly prioritized personal liberty and parental rights over the last two years, announced in November that the GOP made history, finally overtaking Democrats in the Sunshine State.
“Today, and it will probably be fully publicized very soon, today for the first time in the history of Florida, we’ve now overtaken Democrats. There are more registered Republicans in Florida than Democrats,” he announced at a press conference in Seminole in November.
At the time, DeSantis noted that Democrats had had an advantage of well over 260,000. According to his office, the figure stood around 263,000, making a net gain of over 300,000 new Republican voters since he took office. His office also provided another startling figure, noting that there are more new Republican voter registrations than Democrat ones in blue Miami-Dade County as well — 426,861 Republicans total to 589,429 Democrats.
“There’s no beating around the fact this historic gain is because of Governor Ron DeSantis. Florida voters are appreciative of the palpable sense of freedom he has created in our state,” Helen Aguirre Ferré, Executive Director of the Republican Party of Florida, said in a statement.”
