      1. Morning Filly!

we have 60* and brief showers–then some sun, then showers…lol

I saw the fist cowbird this morning! And I’m guessing 3 small female orioles…not the Baltimore type–these are pale yellow with a black and white stripe on their wings and very tiny compared to the Baltimore ones.

              1. it would bring some color! we gotta a lot of green in the spring/summer.

we bought this cool bush that has red/purple leaves and in the winter, there’s “berries” on it. we thought it would be a splash of color for the yard. NOPE. as soon as the leaves start growing, the deer decimate it and it has THORNS!

they don’t kill it, it keeps coming back, but it never gets big or bushy–just a 2 feet tall by 1 foot wide blob.

              2. does it get tall like a tree or is it just a midget tree type bush?
we have the oak tree trunk covered (buck rubs in the fall) AND the tree has a tall enough fence to keep them away, Same with the miniature cherry and 2 pear trees. As soon as their trunks are large enough that the deer can’t damage them, we’ll remove the fencing.
although we did that with the apple trees and one fat ass raccoon climbed out on to a branch to get the apples and broke the branch and killed itself in the process. (we found it in the morning)

              3. They are small trees for the most part – mine was only about 12-15 feet tall.

“Redbuds always remain small, maturing at 20 to 30 feet in height and 15 to 35 feet in width. They generally grow as a small tree with a divided trunk close to the ground. The spreading crown is usually rounded to flat-topped. It can develop as a multi-trunk shrub. Redbuds growing in the sun will be compact and rounded; when grown in shade, their form is loose, open and tall.”

Texas Congressman Keith Self confirms Muslims are practicing Sharia Law and building ‘Muslim only’ communities

He says Islamic Centers are being strategically planned next to our police training facilities “Sharia is alive, well, and operating in Plano, Texas.

Right now, as I speak, there is an existing Sharia-adherent enclave run by the East Plano Islamic Center in my congressional district. It’s been functioning for 12 years right in our midst.

This is not a hypothetical or future threat. It is here, now and operational” “It is a parallel society, a de facto Sharia enclave operating in defiance of full assimilation into American law situated immediately adjacent to the very law enforcement facilities meant to protect our communities.”

“Alarmingly, as a matter of fact, a pattern of Islamic centers being built next to police training facilities is emerging. There’s also one in Irving, Texas. Intimidation, is clearly the intent.”

  2. biological male criminal claims to be a woman (still anatomically a male) so he gets put in a women’s prison. commits 3 rapes and gets his cell mate pregnant. So now the DOJ is investigating.

    FTA

The investigation follows horrific allegations of rape and harassment at the California Institution for Women in San Bernardino County, the Central California Women’s Facility in Madera County, and the Maine Correctional Center in Windham.

“The probe is going to examine whether the two states have violated constitutional rights of female inmates by placing them alongside male prisoners,” Gonzales explains, before homing in on one alleged rape case involving a California prisoner.

Tremaine Carroll, a convicted criminal who served time at a women’s prison in Chowchilla, California, has been charged with allegedly raping fellow inmates — as the 52-year-old is a biological male who simply identifies as a woman.

“Carroll has been charged with raping three women, one of which was his cellmate, who he allegedly got pregnant,” Gonzales comments.

“Any giant dude can be like, ‘Yeah, I identify as a woman.’ And they’re just like, ‘Oh, well, ma’am, let’s get you over to the all-female prison so you can rape a bunch of women, and we don’t get to say anything because you’ve just told us you identify as a woman,’” she continues.

USAID money was funneled to an organization that created fake Ukraine and Russiagate evidence against Donald Trump

The CIA then worked with the agency to use that evidence in the impeachments against Donald Trump to remove him as President

    Literally treason

“New reporting reveals that USAID and a CIA analyst were behind a project that later led to one of Trump’s impeachments independent journalist — USAID effectively created this organization called the Organized Crime and Corruption Research Project Reporting Project — We also know that it did the foundational research that was essential to bringing the impeachment case against Trump in December of 2019. It was what the CIA whistleblower relied upon in his initial complaint in lDecember of 2019

So those are the facts — So this is basically a situation where the CIA person in the White House who’ve been left over by Obama writes a a complaint describing alleged violation of the law. This was then picked up in the house, impeached Trump, the Senate of course declined to hear it. But I think what’s so interesting here is that this is an organization that’s behind it that’s funded by USAID that would not exist without USAID in what I think you have to consider to be domestic politics, which is absolutely forbidden.

    — So this looks like regime change tactics that the CIA and USAID had done abroad being brought back home against Donald Trump”

  4. Just The News: “House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer said Monday his committee has received information showing the United States’ Census Bureau in 2020 miscalculated the number of Americans in a way that cost Republicans multiple House seats.

Comer claimed the basic count was biased against Republicans because the bureau made estimations instead of doing a physical count during the COVID-19 pandemic, and estimated high in Democratic areas like major cities and underestimated in suburban areas known to be more friendly to Republicans.

“The basic count was miscounted grossly in the last census, to the tune of costing the Republicans anywhere from four to five congressional seat,” Comer said on the “Just The News, No Noise” TV show. “The fact that we lost [is] because the Census Bureau was biased. If you go back to when the census was taken, the last time it was during COVID, no one knocked on anybody’s doors because of COVID. So they ended up estimating.

“They overestimated Democrats in the Democratic areas, which are the urban, rundown communities across America, and they undercounted all the suburban areas, which are the Republicans [fastest] growing areas,” he added.

Comer said California, New York and Rhode Island should have lost more House seats than they did and that Florida and Texas should have gained at least one new member of Congress because of an exodus during the pandemic.

“This was a census that really messed up, and it erred on the side of Democrats and against Republicans, and I hope that that mistake is not made again,” Comer said. “Now we’ve got a one-vote majority in the House of Representatives. If we had a five-vote majority, where we didn’t have to worry that much about Thomas Massie, then we would have probably been able to have passed a lot more of President Trump’s agenda.”

Comer said he is committed to making sure the next census count is more accurate, so inaccurate reporting by the bureau is not done again.

“You know, the whole issue of whether you count illegals or not, that’s a whole other issue,” he said. “What we’re focused on, I’m focusing on is making sure we get an accurate count, because that will be a significant improvement …  Just get an accurate count. We didn’t have that the last time, and it was off by a lot.”

During the Monday press briefing, Leavitt fielded a question from a reporter who recalled that Arab nations paid for much of the First Gulf War and asked if they would make similar contributions.

“I think it’s something the president would be quite interested in calling them to do. I won’t get ahead of him on that. But certainly, it’s an idea that he has, and I think you’ll hear more from him on,” Leavitt said.

Relations between the U.S. and the Gulf States have deteriorated somewhat amid the Iran war and the Iranian targeting of Gulf State infrastructure in the wake of the joint U.S.-Israeli strikes that kicked off the conflict.”

  8. Just The News: “The Supreme Court on Tuesday struck down a Colorado law banning conversion therapy for LGBT minors. The court ruled in favor of a Christian therapist, rejecting the state’s law that prohibited mental health professionals from trying to change the sexual orientation or gender identity of LGBT minors, The New York Times reported. The 8-1 decision impacts more than 20 other states that have similar laws banning conversion therapy.

The court’s majority decision said the law, as applied to talk therapy, impermissibly interferes with free speech.

“Colorado may regard its policy as essential to public health and safety,” Justice Neil Gorsuch wrote in the court’s opinion. “But the First Amendment stands as a shield against any effort to enforce orthodoxy in thought or speech in this country.”

Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson was the lone dissenter, reading a lengthy summary of her opposition from the bench.

Colorado’s law was adopted in 2019, and prohibits “any practice or treatment” that tries to change a minor’s “gender expressions or to eliminate or reduce sexual or romantic attraction or feelings toward individuals of the same sex.”

The law has never been enforced, but it includes fines of up to $5,000 for each violation and possible suspension or revocation of a counselor’s license. The law includes an exemption for those “engaged in the practice of religious ministry.”

Kaley Chiles, who’s a Christian, sued Colorado over the law in 2022, arguing that it prevented her from working with young patients who want to live a life “consistent with their faith.” In her court filings, she said that she was not seeking to “cure” clients of same-sex attractions or to “change” their sexual orientation, but to help them with their own stated goals, which sometimes include “seeking to reduce or eliminate unwanted sexual attractions.”

Image for article: US Army investigating why two of its attack choppers stopped at Kid Rock's house after buzzing liberal protesters 😂

“You probably don’t believe me, but this really happened. [Warning: S-bomb in caption]

Yes, Robert Richie (Kid Rock) is a 100% certified true American patriot. He sees an Apache outside his swimming pool and he doesn’t question it. He doesn’t freak out. He stands and salutes the brave souls on board, no questions asked.

There’s only one problem. The Army never authorized the flyby.

Here’s News Channel 5 in Nashville:

U.S. Army officials have ordered an investigation into the activities of two AH-64 Apache attack helicopters that flew over Saturday’s ‘No Kings’ protest in downtown Nashville, then engaged in low-altitude maneuvers near the home of Kid Rock just north of the city.

The initial investigation appears to be focused, for now, on the maneuvers at the entertainer’s so-called ‘Southern White House’ in the Nashville suburb of Whites Creek.

Senior investigative reporter Phil Williams of News Channel 5 specified that the Apaches were flying low over the protest.

    And WSMV:

A protester who attended the weekend rally sent a picture of one of the helicopters and said it was too low and felt ‘deliberate.’

The Army pilots buzzed the No Kings losers in downtown Nashville, then high-tailed it to Kid Rock’s Southern White House?Honestly, I’m not sure I can be angry at these pilots!

But the Army has its rules (killjoys!):

‘Fort Campbell leadership is aware of a video circulating on social media depicting AH-64 Apache helicopters operating in the vicinity of a private residence associated with Mr. Robert Ritchie (also known as ‘Kid Rock’),’ said a statement by Maj. Jonathon Bless, public affairs officer for the 101st Airborne Division …

‘Our pilots do regularly fly routes outside the Fort Campbell area,’ the spokesperson said. ‘We just don’t know if it was incidental or if it was deliberate.’

I’m sure it was incidental, Major.

(Please don’t go too hard on these patriots in the 101st)

Hopefully no one gets into too much trouble for being awesome!”

Since Elon bought the platform, X has been filled with engagement farming accounts – largely based in nations like India, Pakistan, or Nigeria – that have really ruined the experience.

Many such accounts post propaganda or ragebait to start flamewars in the comment section, which earns them more revenue under X’s new payout rules. Consider how divisive “influencers” like Nick Fuentes and Candace Owens have been platformed by these foreign accounts:…..”

What a misleading headline from The Daily Mail.

The ATF ran a tool mark analysis on a bullet jacket fragment recovered from Charlie’s autopsy.

The result was “inconclusive” — not “no match.”

The jacket was too fragmented to compare, which also partially explains the lack of an exit wound. The bullet shattered on impact.

“Inconclusive” means insufficient evidence to draw any conclusion. It doesn’t mean the bullet “did NOT match” the rifle like the headline says.

The defense wants to use “inconclusive” as exculpatory evidence — but the prosecution wants to run chemical or molecular analysis comparing the jacket alloy to ammunition recovered with the gun. Unlike tool mark analysis, it doesn’t require an intact bullet.

The defense is trying to block that testing from happening.

That’s the nuance of the real story.

Washington’s troubled childcare subsidy system is facing renewed scrutiny after a sweeping new state audit found tens of millions of dollars in questionable payments, adding to a growing list of red flags involving oversight failures, missing records, and weak financial controls at the Department of Children, Youth and Families (DCYF).

The Washington State Auditor’s Office (SAO) released its annual review of $23.7 billion in federal funds across 28 programs, identifying serious weaknesses in how the state detects improper payments in child care subsidies. Auditors estimate that those failures contributed to $37 million in questionable payments in 2025 alone, according to KOMO news.

According to the audit, problems with documentation and verification continue to plague the system, including $27.2 million in questionable payments tied to the federal Child Care Development Fund, and $9.9 million in questionable payments tied to Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF).

Providers also failed to produce attendance records, overbilled for services, or lacked required parent signatures. Auditors found the state often pays providers before verifying documentation, relying instead on audits after the fact, a system critics describe as “pay and chase.”

Outrageous and criminal. The US Attorney for NDCA needs to look at this under Sec. 666 to see if any of this involved federal funds.

THERE IS A THROUGH-LINE COMMON TO MOST OF THESE CASES OF RIDICULOUS CORRUPTION IN THESE BLUE CITIES.

Everyone involved seems to have this inexplicable attitude that they are entitled to do this by virtue of their position. They make very little effort to hide it.

Note the reference to all the “non-profits” living large off the money she was giving away for nonsense.

This is the NGO community that supports liberal progressives who wouldn’t be able to find comparable PRODUCTIVE work in the private sector with a rate of compensation they think they are entitled to.

So they take taxpayer dollars, divide it up, and pay themselves lavishly along the way.

When the pay isn’t quite enough, they just steal it in ways that are blatant and obvious.

You can see it happening everywhere – driveways filling up with packed SUVs, trunks playing Tetris with suitcases, and that one neighbor doing a final lap in flip-flops like they’re trying to soak up every last degree of warmth before reality hits. Little by little, Florida starts to exhale. Traffic loosens up, wait times shrink, and locals quietly reclaim their favorite tables like they never left.

But let’s not kid ourselves. This isn’t goodbye. It’s just a seasonal intermission.  Because once you’ve lived the “skip winter” lifestyle, scraping ice off a windshield feels like a personal attack.

Judges just can’t leave things alone……

    By Mike Scarcella
WASHINGTON, March 31 (Reuters) – A U.S. judge blocked Donald Trump on Tuesday from proceeding with construction of a $400 million ballroom on the site of the White House’s ‌demolished East Wing, halting for now one of the Republican president’s most visible efforts ‌to reshape the seat of American power.
U.S. District Judge Richard Leon in Washington granted a request for a preliminary injunction by the National Trust for Historic Preservation, a nonprofit organization that brought a lawsuit alleging Trump exceeded his authority when he razed the historic East Wing and launched construction without approval from Congress.
The decision by Leon, an appointee of Republican President George W. Bush, keeps the 90,000-square-foot ballroom project on hold ‌while the lawsuit continues.

  21. Just The News: “A federal judge Tuesday blocked President Donald Trump’s order to cut funding for National Public Radio and Public Broadcasting Service, alleging the executive order violates the First Amendment because it amounts to “viewpoint discrimination.”

Trump signed the executive order last May, stating that NPR and PBS no longer served a meaningful purpose warranting taxpayer funding because there are so many private media choices in the digital era.

U.S. District Judge Randolph Moss said the order is unlawful and unenforceable because it violates the First Amendment right to free speech, which “does not tolerate viewpoint discrimination and retaliation of this type.”

“It is difficult to conceive of clearer evidence that a government action is targeted at viewpoints that the President does not like and seeks to squelch,” Moss, an Obama appointee, wrote in the order, according to the Associated Press.

The Trump administration is expected to appeal the ruling, which also comes after Congress reduced federal funding for PBS last year.”
