Just The News: “President Donald Trump said early Tuesday he had agreed with the head of NATO to meet with America’s allies in Switzerland as he doubled down on his gambit to acquire the island of Greenland in a move that has roiled Europe.
“There can be no going back — On that, everyone agrees!” Trump wrote in one of several early morning statements on his Truth Social platform where he also posted a mockup photo of him planting an American flag in Greenland. Trump disclosed he had a call with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte and had agreed to a meeting at the World Economic Forum in Davos, where the American President plans to give a speech Wednesday.
“I had a very good telephone call with Mark Rutte, the Secretary General of NATO, concerning Greenland,” Trump wrote. “I agreed to a meeting of the various parties in Davos, Switzerland. As I expressed to everyone, very plainly, Greenland is imperative for National and World Security. There can be no going back — On that, everyone agrees!”
Trump also posted what appeared to be text messages from Rutte and French President Emanuel Macron on the subject, that latter which included an expression of befuddlement. “I do not understand what you are doing on Greenland,” the purported text message from Macron read among praise for other Trump foreign policy moves.
Trump has relentlessly renewed a long-standing American desire to acquire Greenland, even imposing tariffs against European allies opposing his plan. The pressure has created turmoil in Europe and unease in financial markets.
Trump early Tuesday cast the acquisition of Greenland as a security imperative for the entire world. “The United States of America is the most powerful Country anywhere on the Globe, by far. Much of the reason for this is a rebuilding of our Military during my First Term, which rebuilding continues at even more expedited pace. We are the only POWER that can ensure PEACE throughout the World — And it is done, quite simply, through STRENGTH!” he wrote.
Trump also criticized British Prime Minister Keir Starmer over plans to hand the Chagos Islands back to Mauritius. “Shockingly, our ‘brilliant’ NATO Ally, the United Kingdom, is currently planning to give away the Island of Diego Garcia, the site of a vital U.S. Military Base, to Mauritius, and to do so FOR NO REASON WHATSOEVER,” he wrote.
The United States has secured a long-term lease for the military base as part of the transition.”

HOLY CRAP! Slovakia PM Robert Fico STUNS the EU after talking to President Trump and Rubio about Greenland
“[Trump] is clearly pursuing the nation state interests of the US. If the EU acted in the same way, we would be in a completely different position than we are now!”
“World leaders do not take the EU fully seriously, and this can be attributed to our nonsensical climate targets and our suicidal migration policy.”

Nigerian Professor + a daycare = $1.4 MILLION in fraud in Michigan!
FTA
A highly acclaimed Nigerian professor at Aquinas College is facing two decades in prison after she admitted to swindling more than $1 million from taxpayers and poor minority children in West Michigan.
Nkechy Ezeh, founder and CEO of the Early Learning Neighborhood Collaborative, pleaded guilty last week to wire fraud and tax evasion in a scheme that forced the nonprofit to shut down after a dozen years preparing about 8,000 preschoolers for kindergarten in Kent County, Battle Creek and Kalamazoo, WOOD reports.
Ezeh worked with ELNC bookkeeper Sharon Killebrew to create nearly $500,000 in fake invoices, as well as created fake daycare businesses to siphon off hundreds of thousands of dollars more, which Ezeh used for personal travel to Hawaii, Nigeria and Liberia, according to court documents cited by the news site.
The case comes amid sprawling investigations into fraud in government funded child care programs in Minnesota, Ohio and other states.
The investigations are motivated in part by a viral YouTube video last month that featured what appeared to be a largely vacant “Quality Learing [sic] Center” in Minneapolis that collected $4 million in recent years to provide child care services to the Somali community, Fox News reports.
The learning center is part of a broader scandal involving alleged social services fraud largely tied to the Somali community in the Twin Cities that U.S. Attorney Joseph Thompson said last month could exceed $1 billion once investigations into Minnesota’s Child Care Assistance Program are complete. Officials have followed some of the funds to the Somali terror group Al-Shabab, according to Fox.
Ezeh’s attorney, Mary Chartier, told MLive her client “is committed to taking full responsibility and accountability for her actions.
“She is deeply remorseful to anyone who has been negatively impacted,” Chartier said.
ELNC President Amy DeLeeuw offered a decidedly different perspective following Ezeh’s plea hearing in U.S. District Court on Jan. 14, noting in a statement the former CEO’s “failure to meaningfully articulate the nature and scope of her criminal misconduct.”
“Her theft of million of dollars intended for the most vulnerable of children was brazen, all encompassing and unconscionable,” DeLeeuw said.
“To date, Nkechy has made no effort to repay any of the millions of dollars she stole from ELNC,” the statement read. “I trust Nkechy’s demeanor at today’s hearing did not go unnoticed by Chief Judge Hala Jarbou. I and the board will have more to say in our victim impact statement and look forward to her sentencing hearing on May 13.”

One of the protesters who took over a church service and screamed “shut it down” works for Minneapolis’s local prosecutor, is married to a St. Paul councilwoman, is running for state Senate, and runs HOMES FOR HOMIES taking Section 8 money and steering it to black criminals.
Don Lemon interviewed Jamael Lundy from the crowd at random and asked him about how the crowd was “grassroots.” But Lundy is the Intergovernmental Affairs Coordinator for Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty, handling the prosecutor’s communications with federal officials.
@HarmeetKDhillon is already investigating Moriarty for taking “racial identity” into account when making charging decisions, and HUD is investigating Minneapolis for giving minorities preference when it comes to housing subsidies. Lundy is involved in both.
Homes for Homies, which he runs while working for the local prosecutor, seems to amount to taking Section 8 vouchers from the feds and intentionally steering them to people “of color” and (this FB post implies) also illegal immigrants.
Protesters–perhaps including the staffer of the local prosecutor–could face federal charges after they stopped the Christian service. One said “This ain’t God’s house, it’s the house of the devil.”

Very, very dangerous move!!!! Trump needs to back off of this pronto!!!
Just The News: “A years-long effort to hold a convention of states to propose amendments under Article V of the Constitution appears poised to hit a major milestone in Kansas this week as the legislature mulls becoming the 20th state to call for such a move. In 2025, the Kansas Senate approved a resolution calling for a convention in a supermajority 29-11 vote, and the state House is expected to consider the legislation this week. A vote is expected on the measure this week.
Should the House approve the resolution, the Senate will not need to vote again as Kansas has a multi-year legislative session.
Never Done Before (NF: And rightfully so! VERY dangerous!!!)
Article V of the U.S. Constitution allows amendments if two-thirds of the state legislatures approve the calling of a state convention for a specified, limited purpose. All 27 of the previous constitutional amendments have come through the first method specified in the Constitution, when two thirds of both houses of Congress propose an amendment that is then ratified by three quarters of the states.
In this case, a minimum of 34 states would need to approve such a move for a convention to occur, and any proposed amendments would still need to be ratified by three quarters of the states (38). Nevertheless, the current initiative led by the organization Convention of States (COS) appears set to take its next step with the Kansas vote.
COS Action President Mark Meckler told Just the News that “this is an extraordinary moment for the Convention of States movement. Obviously, reaching the benchmark of 20 out of 34 states is a big one, and we’re excited for the states to come this year. With the President’s support, there should be many more and they could come quickly.”
COS has long lobbied state legislatures to approve a call for a convention, hoping to curb the authority of the federal government. This would include debates on imposing fiscal restraints, term limits, and power limitations on the federal government.
Presently, 19 states have approved a resolution calling for such a convention. Four more, including Kansas, have passed a resolution in one chamber and another 18 are expected to consider similar legislation this year.
Litigation speed-bump
Though the Kansas bill cleared the state House committee in March 2025, litigation stalled its advancement due to a dispute over the passage threshold. The Kansas Constitution required that both chambers of the legislature approve a constitutional convention via a two-thirds vote in both chambers, though in November U.S. District Court Judge Toby Crouse ruled such a requirement unconstitutional under the U.S. Constitution’s Supremacy Clause. That ruling set the stage for the Republican-led chamber to approve the resolution in the early days of the legislative session.
President Donald Trump, in September 2025, shared a Just the News article outlining the progress of the movement in the wake of the annual Convention of States Action Summit. Should the Kansas House back the resolution, it will become the first chamber to do so since Trump amplified the effort.

Just The News: “The Norwegian Nobel Committee may have put Denmark’s territory Greenland in President Trump’s cross hairs by not awarding him the Nobel Peace Prize, recently regifted to Trump by its recipient, Venezuelan opposition leader Maria Corina Machado, according to a report.
Reuters said it saw a letter from Trump to Norway’s Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Stoere that portrayed the Nobel Peace Prize snub as a last straw for the president.
“Considering your Country decided not to give me the Nobel Peace Prize for having stopped 8 Wars PLUS, I no longer feel an obligation to think purely of Peace, although it will always be predominant, but can now think about what is good and proper for the United States of America,” Trump reportedly wrote.
He asked why Denmark has “a ‘right of ownership’ anyway?” and said: “The World is not secure unless we have Complete and Total Control of Greenland.”
As with the European Union’s emergency summit following Trump’s tariff threat against countries not supporting U.S. control of Greenland, Stoere changed his schedule in response to Trump’s reported letter, now saying he’ll attend the World Economic Forum in Davos this week when Trump is also there, Reuters reported.”

Everyone saying, “good job Virginia, you’re getting what you voted for” is either ignorant, or the type of person that just regurgitates talking points.
We didn’t vote for this. You don’t need an ID to vote in Virginia. Elections here aren’t real.
Youngkin had 4 years to secure elections via executive powers, and did nothing.
He had a chance to make an invasion declaration because of the illegal immigration, and he didn’t.
It’s in the state constitution that he had the powers to do so.
That would’ve allowed him to secure elections because we have proof of election fraud and illegals voting.
All Youngkin did was move big corporations into VA and secure his next job.
Dems have been in power for two minutes and they’re already exercising all of the power available to them, and then some.
Youngkin was a corporate shill. He quietly moved corporations into VA with huge subsidies (your tax dollars).
Now the corporate elites have their radical in place and are going to kill small businesses and ensure elections are rigged indefinitely.

Not surprising with Spanberger in charge!!!
EXCERPT: “Virginia legislators took a radical step forward in altering the state’s constitution on Friday, passing an extreme abortion amendment that will go to a people’s vote in November. The Virginia “Fundamental Right to Reproductive Freedom” Amendment passed the House on Wednesday and the Senate on Friday along party lines, the result of a multi-year effort by Democrats to dismantle the few protections in place for the unborn in the state.
The amendment incorporates broad language and excludes basic safeguards. It includes no age limit, no parental rights, no ban on partial-birth abortions, no required medical treatment for babies born alive after a botched abortion, and no restrictions on taxpayer funding. The language goes so far as to protect anyone “aiding” a woman in killing her unborn child. Freedom of conscience protections are completely absent.
Hundreds of Virginians from across the state, including Democrats for Life, flooded the General Assembly building on Thursday to oppose the amendment. In an effort led by the Virginia Society for Human Life and Virginia’s Catholic bishops, constituents met with their legislators to express grave concerns and demand a “no” vote. Despite the public outcry, Democrat legislators voted in favor.
Conservative Virginians must now fight the abortion lobby for the people’s vote, which would determine adoption of the amendment in November’s general election.
Democrat Power Grab
The amendment is one of four proposed changes to the Virginia Constitution to pass the legislature in the first three days of the 60-day session. Other proposed amendments would restore voting rights for felons following completion of sentence, redefine marriage beyond one man and one woman, and redraw the congressional map, which was fast-tracked to a springtime vote.
Republican state Sen. Luther H. Cifers III called the constitutional amendment process “compromised,” as Democrats rushed to make “partisan agendas permanent” rather than serve the needs of the people. Democrats are taking full advantage of the blue wave that led to a two-chamber majority, plus now the state executive branch.
Radical and Vague
Though the redistricting amendment has warranted significant attention, the proposed abortion amendment should not be overlooked.
In states where similarly vague and expansive constitutional amendments have been codified, abortion has overwhelmed facilities, degraded women’s health care, and led to scores of safety violations. Americans United for Life said its Center for Client Safety has reviewed well over 100 abortion complaints in the last two years, including the case of an allegedly post-abortive woman left to wait for an ambulance on the ground outside a Planned Parenthood in Chicago late last year. What would have been called “back-alley” in a previous generation is becoming dangerously mainstream…..”

drama at mom’s facility…LOL
the place is laid out like a flower with a center and 4 radiating petals coming out of that. The center houses the big meeting room and a smaller meeting room, the barbershop/hair salon, and the doctor station. Te four petals are color coded–green, orange, brown, blue. And each petal has its own cafeteria/dining section and showers and tv rooms. The residents are supposed to stay within their sections for meals but can go to other sections for group activities.
Well, mom walks with a walker and in their little dining area, only on chair accommodates her walker –because after she eats, she leaves–while others with walkers stay and chat. A few days ago a woman from another section (no walker) has come into their cafeteria and tells Mom she wants her chair. Mom says, i’m sitting here, go sit somewhere else. And so the drama began. LOL
Now Mom feels she has to go earlier and earlier to get “her chair” before this other lady does. And Mom complained to the staff–saying she belongs in another section…shouldn’t she be eating there? And they agree with her and chase this woman. She always comes back.

This is long but well worth it – a list of our President’s wins in just one year!
Just The News: “Tuesday marks the one-year anniversary of President Donald Trump’s return to office for his second term, and the country is nearly unrecognizable from the way it looked under his predecessor, former President Joe Biden.
Mortgages then and now
The average 30-year fixed mortgage rate right now is at roughly 6.02%, down from about 7.04% a year ago in January, when Biden was still in office. However, that’s three-quarters of a point down from the rate in October of 2023, when the 30-year fixed mortgage rate reached 7.79%. Average rates were roughly 2.5 times higher than when Biden took over following Trump’s first term.
In an effort to supercharge America’s buying power for home purchases, Trump is directing federally mandated and backed Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to purchase $200 billion in mortgage bonds to push rates lower, which briefly dropped them below 6% following the announcement, while also pausing a 50-year mortgage plan and exploring options such as penalty-free 401(k) withdrawals for down payments.
Gas prices cratering
As of January 2026, the national average price for regular gasoline is roughly $2.82 a gallon, down from around $3.08 in January 2025 under the end of the Biden administration. The highest national average gas price during the Biden presidency skyrocketed to roughly $5.02 a gallon in June 2022, driven largely by self-inflicted refining capacity constraints.
Biden in response drained the nation’s Strategic Petroleum Reserve in an effort to reduce the pain at the pump, lowering prices an estimated 17 to 42 cents per gallon. The reserve, which is stored in salt caverns across Louisiana and Texas, currently holds 413.68 million barrels of crude oil, about 60% of its full capacity.
During Trump’s second term, he is pursuing an aggressive “energy dominance” agenda – including record domestic oil production, deregulation and resuming LNG exports – which has contributed significantly to lower prices now at multi-year lows, with households projected to save billions in 2026 compared to prior years.
Egg-cellent prices
Right now, the national average retail price for a dozen Grade A large eggs is about $2.71, down from around $4.15 in January 2025 at the end of the Biden administration. The highest egg prices under Biden hit roughly $4.82 per dozen, in early 2023, and spiked again in 2025 (reaching $8.17 in some retail locations in March) mainly due to avian flu outbreaks that forced massive flock culling.
By contrast, Trump’s agriculture agenda – including a $12 billion USDA biosecurity and compensation plan, deregulation and faster flock rebuilding – has driven the sharp price drop to multi-year lows, delivering major savings for consumers.
Bidenflation no more
The annual U.S. inflation rate (taken from the federal government’s monthly Consumer Price Index report) now sits at 2.7% for the 12 months ending December 2025, unchanged from the prior month and down from around 3% at the end of Biden’s term in January 2025. In what came to be known as Bidenflation, the highest rate during the Biden presidency peaked at 9.1% year-over-year in June 2022, the highest in over 40 years, with cumulative inflation totaling a staggering 21.5%.
Adhering to many of his campaign promises, Trump is advancing supply-side policies – including sweeping deregulation to boost productivity (potentially lowering inflation by up to 0.5% annually), tax cuts for working families, energy abundance initiatives, and tariff adjustments – which are credited with helping stabilize and gradually cool inflation toward the Fed’s 2% target while supporting real wage gains for American workers.
GDP growth
The latest BEA (Bureau of Economic Analysis) numbers show real domestic Gross Domestic Product grew at a solid 4.3% annualized pace in the third quarter of 2025 (July–September), and the Atlanta Fed’s GDPNow is now pointing to roughly 5.3% for the fourth quarter of 2025 – up substantially from the roughly 2.4% annualized growth in fourth-quarter 2024 toward the end of the Biden administration.
Trump’s “America First” agenda – including deregulation to spark business investment, energy dominance to keep costs down, extensions of tax cuts and tariff moves to bring production back home – is powering this faster growth seen now at multi-year highs, with forecasts calling for continued strong expansion in 2026 that should result in higher wages and more jobs and prosperity for U.S. workers.
Immigration and foreign population remaining in country
Following aggressive deportation operations throughout last year, the U.S. foreign-born population is now estimated to be at 51.5 million – a decline of about 1.8 million from January 2025 due to negative net migration and heightened enforcement. Trump closes out his first year with border crossings down 95%. This drop includes the illegal-alien population, which fell by an estimated 576,000 amid over 622,000 reported deportations and reports of 1.9 million self-deportations.
Under Biden’s administration, the foreign-born population grew to a peak of 53.3 million by January 2025. The illegal-alien population reached a record 14 million in 2023 before beginning to stabilize or slightly decline in late 2024, contrasting with the sharp contraction in 2025 as Biden-era deportations focused more on border encounters rather than interior enforcement.
Peace deals signed
In just one year, Trump has brokered several international peace deals, including the Armenia-Azerbaijan agreement signed in August 2025 at the White House; the Democratic Republic of Congo-Rwanda Washington Accords in December 2025; the India-Pakistan ceasefire in May 2025; the Israel-Iran ceasefire in June 2025, the Thailand-Cambodia Kuala Lumpur Peace Accord in October 2025; and the Egypt-Ethiopia resolution over the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam.
Additional efforts include the proposed Russia-Ukraine ceasefire in March 2025 and the Gaza peace plan signed between Israel and Hamas in October 2025, marking at least eight significant accords aimed at reducing global conflicts.
While Biden pursued initiatives such as rejoining the Paris Climate Agreement and supporting Ukraine against Russia, his record reveals only two advancements for peace, the 2021 Israel-Hamas ceasefire and the 2024 Lebanon ceasefire involving Israel and Hezbollah, neither of which held.
FBI most wanted captured
In the first year of the president’s second term, the FBI has caught 5 of the 10 most wanted fugitives in the country. FBI Director Kash Patel said the record was a result of Trump’s laser-focus on restoring the proper role of the agency to focus on crime. In contrast, the Biden administration captured 4 of the top 10 most wanted individuals during its four-year entirety.
Middle class tax cuts
The tax reforms in Trump’s signature One Big Beautiful Bill will result in an estimated 15% tax cut for middle-income Americans, those making $30,000 to $80,000, an official analysis by the nonpartisan Joint Committee on Taxation concluded.
The White House called the bill, which also included reforms such as eliminating taxes on tips and overtime and boosting the child tax credit, “the largest tax cut in history for Working and Middle-Class Americans.”
Record tariff revenues
One year in, the president’s tariff policies, which he has long said are aimed at rebalancing trade between the U.S. and the rest of the world and restoring U.S. manufacturing, have resulted in record tariff revenues in 2025. In his first year, the U.S. Treasury collected $264.05 billion as a result of the import duties. Data from the Commerce Department also shows that over the same period, the U.S. trade gap narrowed to its lowest point since 2009.”

“Military is the Only Way”
Clandestine, Jan 20, 2026
“When people get mad about the lack of high-profile arrests, they direct their displeasure at Bondi/Patel. But given the magnitude and scope of the criminality, I don’t know if the DOJ is even the right avenue to prosecute this mess. It might have to be handled by the Military.
The Dems are engaged in a decades-long treasonous conspiracy, in which they wittingly did not enforce our immigration laws, as part of a broader scheme to steal elections, all while they stole billions of our tax dollars, and tried to replace us with low-IQ immigrants they could control better. In addition to the whole treasonous Russigate hoax, Covid hoax, January 6th hoax, etc., in which they, along with their cohorts in the media, wittingly brainwashed the planet to accept their lies. Not to mention the release of a man-made biological weapon, giving Iran the capability to build nuclear weapons, enabling cartels to engage in human/drug trafficking, and the mountain of other heinous crimes they committed.
At what point does this global crime syndicate become so vast and so entrenched, that the Military has to step in?
My point is, for everyone complaining about Bondi/Patel, I don’t think your displeasure is even directed at the right people. This situation is so severe, I don’t think the DOJ can feasibly take it on. I think they can gather all the evidence and build a case, but the prosecution might have to be handled via military tribunals, given the magnitude of the crimes at hand.
I know people will say that military tribunals are normally reserved for times of war, but this is a war. This is irregular warfare from a domestic enemy. The US is under attack from within by hostile foreign combatants, seeking to destroy this nation and her People. We are at war whether you believe it or not.
This situation must be handled by the Military. It would be a threat to NATSEC to do it any other way. It must be done.”

Just The News: “Federal prosecutors on Tuesday served subpoenas to at least five top Minnesota Democrats — including Gov. Tim Walz — as part of the Justice Department’s investigation into the obstruction of ICE and of the Trump administration’s illegal immigration crackdown in the state, U.S. officials confirmed to Just the News.
Beyond the subpoena issued to Walz for allegedly obstructing law enforcement activities, the DOJ also subpoenaed Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, St. Paul Mayor Kaohly Her and Hennepin County attorney Mary Moriarty over their alleged anti-ICE actions and obstruction activities, the U.S. officials said.
Just the News had reported on Friday that the DOJ had opened an investigation into Walz and Frey. The officials had said it was likely that Walz and Frey would get grand jury subpoenas in an investigation that is looking at obstruction, as well as scrutinizing whether Walz turned a blind eye to a massive fraud scheme in his state.
Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche had warned both men last week that he was “focused on stopping YOU from your terrorism by whatever means necessary.” Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem had also accused the pair of perpetuating violence directed at federal officers.
Walz responded to the federal investigation Friday night, claiming the probe was an “authoritarian tactic.” “Weaponizing the justice system against your opponents is an authoritarian tactic,” Walz said on X. “The only person not being investigated for the shooting of Renee Good is the federal agent who shot her.”
Frey accused the department of trying to intimidate him over his support for the city, including local law enforcement officers and residents who were protesting federal immigration operations. “I will not be intimidated,” Frey insisted on X on Friday. “My focus remains where it’s always been: keeping our city safe.”
The comments came as tensions in Minnesota increase over recent shootings involving federal immigration officers. One ICE agent fatally shot a woman last week who drove at the agent with her car. Democratic Minnesota officials argue that the shooting was unjustified, while federal officials counter that the agent acted in self-defense.”

Needle Agate
The Russian Prichtal module is prepared for launch to the International Space Station. Smaller Russian modules of the ISS are launched atop a modified Soyuz service module which is then discarded once attached to the station.
Interesting Entrance

“Trump wants to seize control of the vast Arctic territory of Greenland before Russia or China muscle in. Greenland is located where the Arctic Ocean meets the Atlantic – making it one of the most valuable strategic assets on Earth. I’ve said it before – the man is a Grand Master-level chess player when it comes to politics, whether you like the way he does things or not.
He knows we need at least one base there to establish part of our ‘Golden Dome’ defense system. He ‘s trolling all of them with his comments. He’ll get the military base he wants – wait and see…”

“Dolphins have evidently returned to Long Island Sound after an absence of nearly 40 years. I doubt if dolphins live that long (average 20-30 years), so these must be some new guys who don’t know how fucked up the water was back in the day…”

“Greenland: The Midnight Sun Fortress That Could Decide America’s Survival: If America secures Greenland, America secures leverage over the next century of industrial and military competition.”
Roger Stone, Jan 20, 2026
EXCERPT: “Many Americans are baffled as to why the United States must acquire Greenland. It is because President Trump realizes that we cannot permit the Arctic to become an enemy highway, and the American people deserve to understand, in plain language, why this matters right now. Greenland is not a novelty. It is not a Scandinavian snow globe. It is not a quirky Arctic postcard full of colorful houses, seal soup, and midnight sun selfies. Greenland is the most strategically valuable island on Earth, and if America treats it like a trivia question, we will wake up one day to find that Russia and China have treated it like a military objective.
For decades, Greenland has been discussed as if it were a distant curiosity. But Greenland is the crown jewel of the Arctic, and the Arctic is rapidly becoming the most dangerous arena of geopolitical competition on the planet. Shipping routes are evolving. Military postures are shifting. Critical resources are being hunted like trophies. Power is moving north, and America cannot afford to be last to the battlefield.
Greenland is the world’s largest island that is not its own continent, spanning more than 2.16 million square kilometers (or 1.34 million miles) it dwarfs most countries. It is not a small territory, but an enormous strategic platform hovering over the future of the West.
And Greenland is not just big, it is positioned like a dagger pointed at the transatlantic lifeline. Whoever controls Greenland can influence the approaches between North America and Europe, monitor and potentially disrupt movement across the Arctic, gain the high ground in a world where high ground no longer means hills and mountains; it means radar, satellites, missile warning, and the ability to see threats before they reach our shores. This is not academic. This is existential.
America already understands Greenland’s military value, which is why the United States operates Pituffik Space Base on the island, formerly known as Thule Air Base. This installation is not a tourist attraction. It is part of the backbone of American early warning capabilities, space surveillance, and missile defense posture. It exists because geography is destiny, and Greenland is one of the most decisive pieces of geography on Earth…..”
