“Illegal immigration is not a victimless crime and we don’t treat it as such!”

Just The News: “At least 31 freight train cars transporting the hazardous chemical molten sulfur were involved in a derailment in Kentucky early Tuesday morning. No injuries have been reported so far.
The derailment took place near the Kentucky and Tennessee border, according to Fox News, and several of the cars tipped onto their sides, causing debris to scatter across nearby fields.
One of the cars was transporting the molten sulfur, which is commonly used in industrial applications, such as fertilizer production. The chemical can cause severe thermal burns and release irritating gases such as sulfur dioxide or hydrogen sulfide if disturbed, according to the Environmental Protection Agency.
The incident prompted officials to issue a “shelter-in-place” order in Todd County, but the order has since been lifted. No cause of the derailment has been identified. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy confirmed the derailment on X and said investigators with the Federal Railroad Administration and Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration are looking into the incident.”

EXCERPT: “Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., was at the forefront of expanding federal funding for pandemic-era food and childcare programs. Those programs are now at the center of fraud allegations among the Somali immigrant community in her home state.
Omar, who represents a congressional district with a sizable Somali population in Minneapolis, championed the MEALS Act in 2020 at the height of the pandemic and offered an amendment that would allow the federal government the ability to grant waivers to state governments for increased costs.
Omar introduced the Act with the goal of removing oversight barriers to the expansion of federally funded state meals programs amid the school closures of the COVID-19 pandemic. The legislation allowed the Department of Agriculture to waive requirements, including for increased federal costs.
Omar’s MEALS Act opened the door to fraudsters
It was because of these waivers that Minnesota is now facing scrutiny for allegedly mismanaging federal funds, including by distributions to the “Feeding Our Future” program, which is linked to fraudulent activity by more than 70 defendants. Federal prosecutors say this particular scheme cost taxpayers $250 million after defendants allegedly appropriated the meals program funding for personal use or to send overseas during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Despite the controversy, Omar doubled down on her prior support for the MEALS Act. When asked whether she regretted that vote in light of the prosecutions, she said: “Absolutely not, it did help feed kids.”
“The largest pandemic-era fraud identified”: Garland
The Justice Department first charged 47 people in a $250 million scheme involving the nonprofit in 2022, Just the News previously reported. Then-FBI Director Christopher Wray said the defendants “went to great lengths to exploit a program designed to feed underserved children in Minnesota amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, fraudulently diverting millions of dollars designated for the program for their own personal gain.”
Attorney General Merrick Garland, who served during the Biden administration, called it the largest pandemic-era fraud scheme ever identified.
But the alleged fraud targeting the meals program is only part of the rampant fraud impacting Minnesota’s welfare system with its genesis in the Somali immigrant community there. The New York Times reported last month that the fraud likely totals more than $1 billion in misused taxpayer funds……”

“It is given over five years, so over time, we’re going to innovate and iterate and make the system work even better,” Dr. Mehmet Oz, administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, said Monday in the announcement video posted to the White House’s official X account. The agency is part of the Department of Health and Human Services.
The program touts innovations such as drone-delivered medications, expanded roles for nurses and pharmacists, robotic diagnostics for remote areas, and preventive care to ensure access doesn’t depend on location.

“Walz Announces $8 Billion Grant To Somali Company To Investigate Fraud”
Politics · Dec 29, 2025 · BabylonBee.com
ST. PAUL, MN — In response to growing allegations of fraud tied to Minnesota’s Somali community, Governor Tim Walz announced he had awarded an $8 billion grant to a Somali company to find the perpetrators.
“I’m sparing no expense to find those responsible,” Governor Walz announced. “That’s why I’m consulting with a Somali private detective agency. They know when to run a mean pick-six.”
“They also run a nifty daycare center,” he added.
To date, approximately $18 billion has been lost to fraud in Minnesota through fake social service programs run by Somalis, some of whom may be in the country illegally. Walz hopes to get to the bottom of the scandal with a lucrative grant to the newly formed Osman Farah Private Eye Detective Agency for Finding Welfare Fraud
“Look at me. Look at me. I am the detective now,” said Detective Osman Farah.
Democrats praised Walz for rising above politics to get to the bottom of the fraud case. “Well, I’m convinced,” said Minnesota Congressional Representative Ilhan Omar. “Nothing to see here. As usual, America is the real villain.”
Previously, Republicans questioned Walz’s leadership throughout the Somali daycare fraud scandal, even going so far as to suggest he’s involved. Now, however, they’re certain he’s just mentally handicapped and unable to run an elaborate money laundering scheme himself.
“We should probably have him arrested, but honestly, this is all so entertaining,” House Speaker Mike Johnson said as he ate a bag of popcorn while watching the news. “Ha, they just found another billion. Hilarious.”
At publishing time, Somali detectives announced they were close to cracking the case and just needed another $8 billion in funds to be sure.

“An aged cat named Flossie has just reached another major life milestone. The long-lived feline turned 30 on Dec. 29, extending her Guinness World Record run as the oldest living cat on Earth.
Cats typically live 12 to 17 years, with indoor cats generally living longer (around 12-15+) than outdoor or feral cats (3-5 years), thanks to better care, diet, and fewer hazards, though some well-cared-for felines can reach 20 or more, with the record holder living to 38. Key factors include indoor/outdoor status, nutrition, vet care, and genetics.
Creme Puff, a mixed tabby from Austin, Texas, holds the Guinness World Record as the oldest cat ever recorded, living an incredible 38 years and 3 days (August 3, 1967 – August 6, 2005). Her owner, Jake Perry, also owned the previous record holder, Grandpa Rex Allen, and credited their longevity to an unusual diet of eggs, bacon, broccoli, coffee with cream, and occasional red wine.”

“Here Are The 10 Biggest Media Hoaxes Of 2025 — In no particular order, here are the biggest hoaxes run by our truth-deprived media throughout the past year.”
By: Shawn Fleetwood, December 31, 2025
EXCERPT: “It turns out that when you spend every day parroting the most asinine conspiracies and narratives imaginable, people lose faith in your ability to play it straight pretty quickly. That’s the situation that America’s propaganda media found themselves in this year, as their credibility amongst the public hit the lowest level in recorded history.
For anyone who’s paid attention to their coverage of the 2025 “news” cycle, it’s not hard to see why. From running cover for leftist violence to gaslighting Americans about their role in the cover-up over Joe Biden’s ailing health, the corporate media’s bid to hide the truth was nothing short of remarkable.

“The ordinance establishes a Reparations Fund, as recommended by the city’s African American Reparations Advisory Committee (AARAC) in its 2023 report. The legislation merely establishes the fund but does not allocate any money to it – setting up the framework for any future contributions, whether they be through the city or privately donated.
The AARAC is tasked with developing ‘recommendations for repairing harm in our black communities,’ according to its website. Per the 2023 report, every African American adult in San Francisco should be handed a $5 million lump sum to ‘compensate the affected population for the decades of harms that they have experienced.'”

“Kenneth Johnson discovered a massive male black bear had taken up residence in the crawl space of his Altadena home just before Thanksgiving. The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) attempted to capture the beast, called Yellow 2120 by researchers, with bait and noisemakers.
But their efforts were unsuccessful on December 9 when they trapped a smaller bear instead. ‘I knew my bear hadn’t gone out because I’ve got enough cameras on it,’ Johnson told the Los Angeles Times. The department tagged and released the smaller bear, but Johnson said Yellow 2120 is still terrorizing his home despite his efforts to flush the creature out.
Johnson is now threatening to sue the department, accusing officials of negligence and emotional distress after he claimed they suddenly told him to stand down on his efforts to remove the bear. Johnson told local media that he can still hear the bear moving around and is fearful for his safety.
‘I can hear the plastic being shredded underneath, and one of the cameras picked it up just bulldozing through it. It’s a mess under there,’ Johnson said. Johnson was forced to shut off his gas on Christmas Eve after he captured video of a broken pipe by the bear, and said he has not had hot water since.”

i don’t know House rules or if this is even true..but here is the story:
(The Center Square) — House Democrats are reconvening a special committee for a hearing to mark the fifth anniversary of the Jan. 6, 2021 riot at the U.S. Capitol and criticize the Trump administration for trying to “white-wash” history.
In a Dear Colleague letter, House Speaker Hakeem Jeffries said Democratic members of the Jan. 6 select committee will hold a “special hearing” on the 5th anniversary of the Capitol building assault to “honor” first responders and “expose the election deniers who hold high-level positions of influence in the executive branch.”
“At the hearing, we will examine ongoing threats to free and fair elections posed by an out-of-control Trump administration, expose the election deniers who hold high-level positions of significance in the executive branch and detail the threats to public safety posed by the hundreds of violent felons who were pardoned on the President’s first day in office,” the New York Democrat wrote.
“We will also present a panel of members who wish to share their personal experiences from that horrific day,” Jeffries said, calling on members “who wish to share their personal experiences from that horrific day.”
The House select committee held a series of live-streamed hearings in 2022 that sought to tie President Donald Trump and his closest advisers to the “insurrection” and efforts to block the certification of the presidential election. The Democratic-controlled panel approved a criminal referral for Trump and called for charges against him, including aiding an insurrection.
But Trump wasn’t prosecuted, and shortly after returning to the White House in January he pardoned or commuted the sentences of more than 1,600 people charged in connection with the Jan. 6 Capitol attack.
Trump has also urged the U.S. Department of Justice to prosecute members of the committee, which included former Republican Reps. Liz Cheney of Wyoming, and Adam Kinzinger, of Illinois — but outgoing Democratic President Biden Joe Biden preemptively pardoned the nine members of the panel.
In his letter, Jeffries said at the hearing Democratic lawmakers will review Trump’s “blanket pardons and commutations” to individuals charged in connection with the Jan. 6 attack, “including hundreds of violent felons who brutally assaulted law enforcement officers.”
“Several of those individuals have been charged with new crimes throughout the country, putting the safety of the American people in jeopardy,” Jeffries wrote. “A troubling number of the criminals pardoned by Donald Trump have been arrested for child molestation, sexual assault and kidnapping.”
Jeffries also accused the White House of trying to “re-write history” and of ignoring the trauma of more than 140 “heroic” police officers who were injured or “tragically” lost their lives as a result of the Capitol attack.
“In the years since that disgraceful day, far-right Republicans in Congress have repeatedly attempted to rewrite history and whitewash the events of January 6th,” he said. “Our country has been indelibly scarred.”

suggestions for those who want to dig…
Fionnagh
December 31, 2025 8:05 am
A number of treepers have asked in the comments above what can they do, while expressing frustration.
My .02 suggestion: make use of your search engine and determine how many daycare centers are in your area. I just came up with a list for my own city. There are 37, as of last October. And I have the names of the centers. I could use the WA state DOL web site to capture business licenses, determine when the centers first registered as a business, and if a corporation or LLC, ascertain the names of the governing body. I could idly drive by each center during different times of the day just to see if there are children present. Or not.
Do they have linkedin profiles? Facebook pages? Instagram? Twitter? YouTube? Do they have their own website?
If so, they are probably legitimate.
As a retiree, I have time to do this investigation. As an American who is pi$$ed off about our country being defrauded, I have enough righteous anger to do this investigation.
nichan posted valuable comments around two this morning which included a link to report suspected fraud.
Again, these are my off-the-cuff suggestions. Feel free to add on.
“I want you to be Nick Shirley.”

This type of scam is well known to DC. They have mastered it in DC. Have a friend, colleague, or family member start an NGO or charity or consulting firm or other nonprofit and funnel billions of our tax dollars to those fake storefronts. The players all get a piece of the pie and become millionaires overnight . The money moves in a circle right back to the politicians in one form or another. This goes on in perpetuity. As Sundance says “there are trillions at stake”.

While Minnesota burns through billions in Somali-linked welfare fraud (Feeding Our Future, Medicaid scams, etc.), guess where some of that stolen money went? Real estate in KENTUCKY.
According to federal court records, Abdiaziz Shafii Farah, a Somali-born defendant convicted in the $300 million Feeding Our Future scam, used fraudulently obtained taxpayer funds to purchase several commercial and residential properties, including in Kentucky.
According to court documents, the only states he bought property in were Kentucky and Minnesota. Was he going to target Kentucky next?
Time to audit our own programs before it’s too late.

Just The News: “Former Special Counsel Jack Smith told the House Judiciary Committee in a closed-door deposition earlier this month that he did not believe the testimony of former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson, according to a transcript of the deposition released Wednesday.
In 2022, then-Attorney General Merrick Garland appointed Smith to handle the investigation into President Donald Trump’s alleged mishandling of classified documents, and to investigate Trump’s 2020 election challenges.
The House Judiciary subpoenaed Smith for the deposition earlier this month, which took place on Dec. 17. Smith told the committee that he had evaluated Hutchinson’s testimony, which he had considered using in his prosecution of Trump over the 2020 election, but decided that it relied too much on hearsay.
Smith said Hutchinson was a “secondhand” or “third-hand” witness for the January 6 panel, and that he would have moved to prohibit some of her testimony from being used if he cross-examined her in court, according to Fox News.
“A number of the things that she gave evidence on were secondhand hearsay, were things that she had heard from other people and, as a result, that testimony may or may not be admissible, and it certainly wouldn’t be as powerful as firsthand testimony,” he said.
Hutchinson testified in front the committee multiple times but largely testified about things she heard from other witnesses, including a claim that Trump attempted to grab the steering wheel from a U.S. Secret Service agent because he wanted to go to the Capitol and not the West Wing. The claim was later disputed by other witnesses.
Smith also told the committee that he was the one who decided to bring charges against Trump but denied that the prosecution and decision were politically motivated.
“The decision to bring charges against President Trump was mine, but the basis for nine of those charges rests entirely with President Trump and his actions, as alleged in the 10 indictments returned by grand juries in two different districts,” Smith told the committee in his hours-long deposition.
The full transcript of Smith’s deposition can be read here, and footage of the eight-hour deposition can be viewed here.”

“Trump Teasing Insurrection Act!”
Clandestine, Dec 31, 2025
🔥HOLY SHIT🔥
Trump just said he is removing the National Guard from Chicago, LA, and Portland, but says “we will come back, perhaps in a much different and stronger form”.
HE IS TALKING ABOUT SENDING IN ACTIVE DUTY MILITARY VIA THE INSURRECTION ACT!!!
This comes after the Supreme Court ruling in Trump Admin v. Chicago, where they ruled that Trump was not allowed to send NG troops to Chicago to defend federal buildings, but Kavanaugh outlined in his opinion that Trump would be allowed to send Active Duty US MIL into Chicago via the Insurrection Act.
We are one step closer to Trump invoking the Insurrection Act!

🚨 HERE IT IS — and it’s ugly.
The IRS has now confirmed Gavin Newsom is running what looks like a straight-up criminal operation.
Spencer Pratt sat down with IRS criminal investigators after discovering that $800 MILLION raised through “Fire Aid” for Pacific Palisades and Los Angeles fire victims never reached a single victim.
Not one dollar.
Meanwhile, Newsom’s Section 8 pipeline stayed fully funded — through theft.
So where did the money go?
Straight into NGOs.
Including “Cal Volunteers,” an organization created by Gavin Newsom and his wife.
And here’s the tell…
The moment this story broke, Fire Aid quietly removed “Cal Volunteers” from its website as a listed recipient.
Erase the evidence.
Hide the trail.
Classic racket behavior.
This isn’t incompetence.
This is a scheme.
