I found this article on a site called MyCountry955.com that details the differences between an American Bison and the American Buffalo.
From MyCountry955.com:
Don’t be confused, when in Yellowstone or most places in the North America, you’re not seeing Buffalo you’re seeing the American Bison. There is quite the difference and if you’ll follow along, I will explain it.
When the first explorers made their way west they came in contact with these massive beasts, that roamed the plains in the millions and started hunting until they thinned the herds greatly. Bison were hunted so often, they were almost eliminated in the late 1800’s. In the early 1900’s the US Army brought 21 Bison into Yellowstone and protected them and eventually were able to bring back to a comfortable number like we have now in the park.
Even back as far as those early day’s Bison have been (by some measures) incorrectly called Buffalo. Other than being both big, having horns and being extreme distant cousins in the Bovidae family, the American Bison isn’t even closely related to the Buffalo.
One difference you can see immediately between Bison and Buffalo is the Bison’s large hump on it’s back. This may shock you, but according to NPS.GOV the Bison’s hump is made up of muscles and long vertebrae so they can use their head as a snow plow to get to plants to eat during the winter. That comes in really handy during the Wyoming winters.
Yep! The American Bison is a natural born snow remover!

The Smithsonian’s National Zoo & Conservation Biology Institute points out that “True Buffalo” are actually native to Africa and Asia (Cape Buffalo and Water Buffalo), so living in the warmer climates, they wouldn’t need the type of thick coat of fur that the Bison of North America need during the winter months. You’ll also notice that the Bison has a nice “mountain man” like beard to go along with that big winter coat. Of course the hot summers and to cool down the bison will shed the thick warmth for a lighter/cooler summer coat.
The next difference will come when you’re looking at the horns of the Buffalo and Bison. African Water Buffalo have long, large curved horns, the Cape Buffalo has horns that dip down and look like a mustache coming out of the top of their head and the Bison horns are sharp and shorter than the others.
Historians believe the reason many call the bison, buffalo is a simple play on words. Early explorers called bison by many names and that the French word for beef “boeuf” is where the name originated. Others believe the Bison’s coat resemble a “buff” coat (a popular coat worn in those times) and that’s how they started to be called “Buffalo”. Since that was EARLY in our country’s history, the origins of why they were called Buffalo are a little sketchy, but what we do know is that here in North America…they’re Bison!
I’m fairly certain that you’re not going to get in trouble for calling a bison, buffalo…BUT, just wanted you to be informed when you were in a deep conversation about western U.S. history and so you can school the “Tourons” on your next visit to Yellowstone

EXCERPT: “During President Donald Trump’s first year back in office, auditors said customer service at the Social Security Administration markedly improved as tens of millions more Americans were served in 2025 and the wait times for calls being answered dropped four-fold, the agency watchdog reported in a surprisingly positive year-end report.
The findings were in response to a query from Democrat Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts, and the auditors credited the improvements to a new telephone customer service system, changes in staffing and better training.
“In FY 2025, SSA served—either by an SSA employee or automation—68 million callers, a 65-percent increase from FY 2024,” the SSA Office of Inspector General reported. “The Agency improved performance because it used a new telecommunications platform and staff realignments.
“The new platform increased call volume capacity and expanded self-service and automated options. SSA also used the new platform’s capabilities to identify in real-time ways to better serve callers, target training, and improve frequently asked questions,” it added.
Response time 42 minutes under Biden, seven minutes under Trump
Most significantly, wait times for calls being answered from Social Security customers dropped from a peak of 30 minutes when Trump took over in January to seven minutes at the end of the fiscal year Sept. 30, the report found. That was an improvement from Biden’s last year in office, when call wait times reached as high as 42 minutes, it noted.
You can read the full report here. SocSecAudit-CustimerServicedec25.pdf
Social Security Commissioner Frank J. Bisignano credited concerted changes in staffing and the new phone system for the improvements and vowed more are coming in 2026…..”

Russia launched missile and drone attacks on Kyiv and other areas on Saturday, prompting a response from Zelensky heading into the talks. “We want peace, and Russia demonstrates a desire to continue the war. If the whole world — Europe and America — is on our side, together we will stop,” he said.”

“Brigitte Bardot, the iconic French actress, singer, and animal rights activist, died on Sunday, December 28, 2025, at the age of 91 in Toulon, France. Her death was announced by the Brigitte Bardot Foundation, which confirmed she passed away following an illness and surgery two months earlier, though no specific cause of death was provided. French President Emmanuel Macron and other public figures paid tribute to her legacy as a cultural and political icon.
Bardot was born Brigitte Anne-Marie Bardot on September 28, 1934, in Paris, France. She rose to international fame in 1956 with her role in And God Created Woman, directed by her first husband, Roger Vadim. She retired from acting in 1973 at the age of 39 to focus on animal rights activism, founding the Brigitte Bardot Foundation in 1986.
Her later life was marked by controversial political views, including support for the far-right National Rally party and inflammatory remarks on immigration and Islam, leading to multiple convictions for inciting racial hatred.
She was married four times and had one child, Nicolas, with Jacques Charrier.
Tributes poured in from global media and political leaders, with Macron describing her as a “legend of the century” and Jordan Bardella of the National Rally calling her a symbol of “courage and freedom.”

Instead of collecting donations, Pavlik got drunk and started confronting customers as they walked in and out of the store.
When a Publix manager stepped outside to address the situation, Pavlik tried to hit the manager with the tripod holding the donation kettle. He missed by a mile. Pavlik stumbled away before cops arrived. He was later found passed out at his single-wide, where he was taken into custody without further incident. “Trump Gives Terrorists Gift Of Meeting Allah For Christmas”
World · Dec 27, 2025 · BabylonBee.com
NIGERIA — President Trump has given dozens of ISIS terrorists the gift of getting to meet Allah for Christmas.
After giving much thought to what they would like, Trump decided there was simply no better gift than sending them to meet Allah.
“A one-way ticket to Allah! They’re going to love this,” said Trump as he wrote “Merry Christmas” on the missiles destined for Nigeria. “No one gives better gifts then me, your favorite President. It’s a beautiful gift, very expensive, let me tell you. I spent millions of dollars on it, but it will all be worth it for the looks on their faces. It’s so nice, I don’t think anyone will be regifting this one.”
Dubbed “Operation Santa Trump”, the military helped deliver Trump’s presents to several sites in Nigeria with incredible precision. “It feels good, giving back,” said Air Force pilot Lieutenant Dan “Firefly” Rogers. “We all need help sometimes getting away from thinking about ourselves, and the whole commercialization of Christmas. When you pull the trigger to send gifts like that, it brings the meaning of Christmas home.”
At publishing time, the dead terrorists had discovered that Allah had a different name and was not quite what they had in mind.

Don’t let the Minnesota fraud distract you from the fact that Obamacare is guilty of what’s NOW been discovered as $47+ BILLION in complete widespread missing money-fraud in just one year alone!
They’re distracting us with Walz because money laundering from Obamacare is bankrolling most of the DNC and Uniparty Swamp since USAID has now been cut off to them.
The Obamacare subsidies EXPIRE December 31st and the DNC is HEAVILY dependent upon it!
That’s why democrats are now trying to shake President Trump down for $400 billion MORE in Obamacare subsidies. They shut down the government over it and then blamed President Trump for the shutdown! 😡
Liberals need to realize their democrat party masters will NEVER give us free universal healthcare despite their fake promises to do it because then these elites wouldn’t be able to STEAL TAXPAYER DOLLARS through their corrupt insurance companies that would cease to exist.
Also, corrupt corporations that are POISONING US ON PURPOSE to give us cancers would have to stop doing it because none of these elite healthcare companies would exist as the middle-man (also lobbying doctors) to profit from our sickness.
They’d be OVERLOADING hospitals for absolutely no reason at all at that point.
It’s a huge racket and they don’t ever want it to stop.
It’s time for liberals to wake up and join us against a corrupt system that’s killing ALL of us!

Told you so. NGOs are making primaries a top target now.
The reasoning goes: gerrymandering means 90%+ of seats are “safe.” Thus, don’t fight over the 10% — which tends to be high cost battles.
It’s much more efficient to simply take over the other 90%. It’s logical. It’s diabolical. And it’s going to work until we understand that primaries will be more important than generals from here out on.

“Reflections On The Past Year: One cannot look at 2025 and conclude that it was anything other than a resounding success.”
Paul Ingrassia, Dec 28, 2025
EXCERPT: “As we prepare ourselves for 2026, a year of endless opportunity and newfound challenges, it can be prudent to take a moment to reflect on the year behind us – meditating on the lessons gleaned through the experiences of life in an arena as dynamic and tempestuous as is our current political environment. On the whole, despite some growing pains, one cannot take an objective look at 2025 and reach any other verdict than the obvious: that it was nothing short of a resounding success. One can similarly not deny that with the past twelve months under our belt, a rock-solid foundation has been laid to make the next twelve months an even greater success. It is our public duty, now, to not squander the past year’s strong table-setting.
Compared to last year, America is significantly better off, and along every measure the comparison is night and day. Just a year ago, the United States was losing – albeit some hope had been restored on the heels of Donald Trump’s victory, what amounted to the greatest political comeback in presidential political history.
But victory alone is insufficient to bring a country back – particularly one going through a crisis like the United States, which through decades of bad policies and even worse political leadership, was teetering close to the abyss. It is easy to forget how close we came to losing it all as a country, a fact many Americans still don’t appreciate a little over a year after that historic victory of 2024. Donald Trump surged back from political oblivion, at nearly eighty years of age, to take down the most corrupt and illegitimate political cartel to ever infiltrate the halls of power.
Biden’s illegitimate regime was made possible by an enabling and equally corrupt press. It was likewise propped up by an administrative or “deep” state composed of nefarious, anti-democratic actors, which shrewdly deputized agitprop and deployed media gaslighting relentlessly on a vulnerable population. They aimed to demoralize the public into submission with Woke bromides, which included Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion as an axiomatic precept, alongside initiatives like ESG and the Paris Climate Accords – as well as globalism (and every political consequence of those poisonous -isms) whose tenets the powers that be imbibed with drunken zeal.
In this concatenation of ideologies, managed by woke evangelists or “true believers” of the faith, the Biden presidency represented the effective end of politics. On its own terms, that is to say, electorally, Biden’s regime could never legitimate itself. Regimes that cannot legitimate themselves by reference to some agreed-upon authority, which in our system means democratic election processes, invariably turn autocratic in their tendencies. And autocratic did Biden become.
Biden’s autocratic regime could not compete in the arena of small-d democratic politics because it denied the traditional democratic processes, or means, necessary to establish a government built on trust. This is another way of saying that in rewriting all the election procedures heading into 2020 – not just trivially, but in substantively breaking from all historic norms and rules governing how elections were carried out for quite some time – Biden had gotten off on incredibly shaky grounds.
But even if one insisted that the election of 2020 was conducted fairly, the credibility behind that view was severely undermined by the fact that liberals went on a scorched-earth crusade to prevent public discussion of the 2020 race in every corner, including public discussion and a deep dive into how procedures were changed to accommodate the conditions of COVID, and whether such procedures were lawfully valid, eliminating any chance for built-up doubts to be aired publicly. This had the effect of inevitably forcing such conversations underground.
President Trump at the time experienced censorship to a degree that few others in our era can ever understand; he was forced off social media, and criminally indicted in several states for merely raising legitimate, reasonable, and indeed, commonsensical inquiries about why certain votes were tabulated the way they were, and whether certain processes, now readily admitted as slipshod or sloppy in their execution (as with Fulton County Georgia, which recently admitted to not lawfully certifying tabulator tapes that amounted to 315,000 ballots cast), could be reevaluated in a court of law, allowing the fact-finding process to play out rigorously, impartially, and with all the process an issue of such gravity is due.
That process was never allowed to take place as those who were interested in ousting the President from power for good instead allocated all their time and energy to flouting our system’s constitutional guardrails, opting to silence and even punish those, under the force of law, who so dared challenge the dominant narrative……”
Paul Ingrassia, is serving as the Acting General Counsel at GSA; he previously served as White House liaison for DOJ and DHS.

Just The News: “FBI Director Kash Patel said on Sunday that the bureau would “continue to follow the money” in Minnesota and protect children, adding that the investigation “very much remains ongoing.” He said the FBI is aware of “recent social media reports in Minnesota” about fraud allegations.
“However, even before the public conversation escalated online, the FBI had surged personnel and investigative resources to Minnesota to dismantle large-scale fraud schemes exploiting federal programs. Fraud that steals from taxpayers and robs vulnerable children will remain a top FBI priority in Minnesota and nationwide,” he wrote.
“To date, the FBI dismantled a $250 million fraud scheme that stole federal food aid meant for vulnerable children during COVID. The investigation exposed sham vendors, shell companies, and large-scale money laundering tied to the Feeding Our Future network,” he added.
He noted that the case led to 78 indictments and 57 convictions.
“These criminals didn’t just engaged in historic fraud, but tried to subvert justice as well. Abdimajid Mohamed Nur and others were charged for attempting to bribe a juror with $120,000 in cash. Those responsible pleaded guilty and were sentenced, including a 10-year prison term and nearly $48 million in restitution in related cases,” he said.
“The FBI believes this is just the tip of a very large iceberg. We will continue to follow the money and protect children, and this investigation very much remains ongoing,” he also said. Patel also said that “many are also being referred to immigrations officials for possible further denaturalization and deportation proceedings where eligible.”

NEWARK, NJ – Beginning January 1, riders using NJ Transit’s Reduced Fare Program will need a photo identification card to qualify for discounted tickets, but you will still be able to vote in the Garden State without proving who you are. How does that make sense?
The change affects seniors, people with disabilities, and active military members who use the reduced fare option on buses, trains, and light rail. NJ Transit said all non-photo Reduced Fare IDs will become invalid after the new year. Riders must apply for the new, free photo ID card online, by mail, or in person, providing proof of age or disability along with a recent photo.
Applications can be submitted through the agency’s website, mailed to the NJ Transit Reduced Fare Program, or processed at participating banks, savings and loans, or county offices on aging.

an explanation about the Hoover Building
FBI Director Kash Patel
@FBIDirectorKash
December 26: Shutting down the Hoover Building.
After more than 20 years of failed attempts, we finalized a plan to permanently close the FBI’s Hoover headquarters and move the workforce into a safe, modern facility. Working directly with President Trump and Congress, we accomplished what no one else could.
When we arrived, taxpayers were about to be on the hook for nearly $5 billion for a new headquarters that wouldn’t open until 2035. We scrapped that plan. Instead, we selected the already-existing Reagan Building, saving billions and allowing the transition to begin immediately with required safety and infrastructure upgrades already underway. Once complete, most of the HQ FBI workforce will move in, and the rest are continuing in our ongoing push to put more manpower in the field, where they will remain.
This decision puts resources where they belong: defending the homeland, crushing violent crime, and protecting national security. It delivers better tools for today’s FBI workforce at a fraction of the cost.
The Hoover Building will be shut down permanently.
