King Tut

In honor of the finding of Tutankhamun‘s Tomb on this day in 1922, I present something entirely silly—Steve Martin sings King Tut.

(King Tut, King Tut)
Now when he was a young man
He never thought he’d see (King Tut)
People stand in line to see the boy king (King Tut)

How’d you get so funky? (Funky Tut)
Did you do the monkey?
Born in Arizona
Moved to Babylonia (King Tut)

(King Tut) Now, if I’d known
They’d line up just to see him (King Tut)
I’d taken all my money
And bought me a museum (King Tut)

Buried with a donkey (Funky Tut)
He’s my favorite honkey!
Born in Arizona
Moved to Babylonia (King Tut)

Dancin’ by the Nile (Disco Tut)
The ladies love his style (Boss Tut)
Rockin for a mile (Rockin’ Tut)
He ate a crocodile (Ooh)

He gave his life for tourism (King Tut)

(Tut, tut, tut, tut) Golden idol!
(Tut, tut, tut, tut)
(Tut, tut) He’s an Egyptian
(Tut, tut, tut, tut)
They’re sellin’ you (King Tut)

Now, when I die
Now don’t think I’m a nut (King Tut)
Don’t want no fancy funeral
Just one like ol’ King Tut (King Tut)

He coulda won a Grammy (King Tut)
Buried in his jammies
Born in Arizona
Moved to Babylonia
He was born in Arizona
Got a condo made of stone-a
King Tut!

Bondi Gives Lindsey Halligan New Title After Comey and Letitia James Challenge US Attorney’s Appointment

US Attorney General Pam Bondi on Monday gave US Attorney Lindsey Halligan a new title as James Comey and Letitia James challenge her appointment.

US District Judge Cameron Currie, a Clinton appointee, will decide whether Lindsey Halligan will be disqualified as US Attorney after Comey filed a motion challenging her appointment.

Former FBI Director James filed a motion to dismiss his federal criminal case on Monday, claiming “vindictive prosecution.”

Comey also challenged the appointment of US Attorney Lindsey Halligan.

A grand jury in the Eastern District of Virginia indicted former FBI Director James Comey in September. He was indicted on two counts – false statements and obstruction of a congressional proceeding.

If convicted, James Comey is facing up to five years in prison.

Comey is attacking the federal criminal case, citing “vindictive prosecution” and challenging Lindsey Halligan’s appointment.

James Comey cited two other cases as he challenged Halligan’s appointment as Interim US Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia.

Pam Bondi jumped into action and retroactively gave Lindsey Halligan a new position of “special attorney” in response to Comey’s effort to remove Halligan.

“On September 22, 2025, I exercised the authority vested in the Attorney General by 28 U.S.C. § 546 to designate and appoint Lindsey Halligan as the United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia,” Bondi wrote in a new order dated October 31.

“For the avoidance of doubt as to the validity of that appointment, and by virtue of the authority vested in the Attorney General by law, including 28 U.S.C. § 509, 510, and 515, I hereby appoint Ms. Halligan to the additional position of Special Attorney, as of September 22, 2025, and thereby ratify her employment as an attorney of the Department of Justice from that date going forward,” Bondi said.

As a “special attorney,” Halligan has the authority to conduct legal proceedings before judges and magistrates.

“As Special Attorney, Ms. Halligan has authority to conduct, in the Eastern District of Virginia, any kind of legal proceeding, civil or criminal, including grand jury proceedings and proceedings before United States Magistrates and Judges,” Bondi wrote.

Bondi specifically designated Halligan authority to handle the cases against Comey and James.

“In the alternative, should a court conclude that Ms. Halligan’s authority as Special Attorney is limited to particular matters, I hereby delegate to Ms. Halligan authority as Special Attorney to conduct and supervise the prosecutions in United States v. Comey (Case No. 1:25-CR-00272) and United States v. James (Case No. 2:25-CR-00122),” Bondi added.

NEW: James Comey tried to get his indictment thrown out, only for prosecutors to drop even more explosive evidence.

A handwritten note from Comey himself reveals he knew all about the scheme behind the Russia collusion hoax.

    1. Good morning, Pat! I never get asked that question but I go to the self-checkout whenever possible. HyVee has it on their self-service checkout screens but they donate specifically to Norfolk schools. It’s different when you know the $ will stay local. Clear, sunny & 36 here this morning – Wheezer was waiting at the door. A shopping trip to Norfolk is needed later – got quite a list going!

  3. Just The News: “More than a month after President Donald Trump designated Antifa a domestic terror organization, a group of senators is proposing legislation to codify the president’s executive order. The Stop ANTIFA Act has been introduced by U.S. Sens. Ashley Moody, R-Fla., Rick Scott, R-Fla., and Mike Lee, R-Utah, which would direct the National Joint Terrorism Task Force to investigate Antifa.

The president’s executive order designating Antifa a domestic terror organization came a week after The Center Square posed the question to Trump in the Oval Office, following a rise in left-wing violence, including the assassination of conservative political activist Charlie Kirk.

The president’s executive order describes the group as a “militarist, anarchist enterprise,” which calls for the overthrow of the federal government, especially targeting law enforcement.

Antifa “uses illegal means to organize and execute a campaign of violence and terrorism nationwide to accomplish these goals. This campaign involves coordinated efforts to obstruct enforcement of Federal laws through armed standoffs with law enforcement, organized riots, violent assaults on Immigration and Customs Enforcement and other law enforcement officers, and routine doxing of and other threats against political figures and activists,” according to the executive order.

The president’s order says the group targets young Americans as part of its recruiting efforts, while radicalizing and training them to engage in “violence and suppression of political activities.”

Antifa “employs elaborate means and mechanisms to shield the identities of its operatives, conceal its funding sources and operations in an effort to frustrate law enforcement, and recruit additional members. Individuals associated with and acting on behalf of Antifa further coordinate with other organizations and entities for the purpose of spreading, fomenting, and advancing political violence and suppressing lawful political speech. This organized effort designed to achieve policy objectives by coercion and intimidation is domestic terrorism,” the executive order added.

Moody echoed the president’s executive order, underscoring the group’s continual targeting of law enforcement. “Violent extremists who target our law enforcement officers and destroy our communities must be held accountable. It’s far past time to designate Antifa a terrorist organization. The Stop ANTIFA Act makes it clear that organized violence has no place in America,” Moody said in a news release.

During an Antifa round table with independent journalists at the White House on Oct. 8, The Center Square asked the president if he would go a step further and designate the group a foreign terror organization, with the president responding, “Let’s get it done.”

While the president directed Secretary of State Marco Rubio to “take care of it,” the group has yet to be officially designated a foreign terror organization.”

  4. EXCERPT: “A recent nomination hearing was held in the U.S. Senate in which lawmakers considered Thomas March Bell, a former fetal tissue investigator, for the inspector general role at the Department of Health and Human Services. The Senate Committee on Finance will now determine whether his nomination is advanced to the full Senate.

If confirmed, Bell will have the opportunity to revive a 2021 federal investigation into the University of Pittsburgh’s potentially illicit use of fetal tissue obtained from aborted babies. In one particularly gruesome study published in 2020, the scalps of second-trimester infants aborted at an affiliated hospital were sliced off and attached to mice and rats by Pitt researchers….”

“….Shortly after nominating Bell earlier this year, President Trump announced that his administration planned to “look into” the harvesting of aborted baby organs. His National Institutes of Health director, Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, vowed during his Senate hearing that he would discontinue the use of aborted fetal tissue in grants funded through the agency.

So far, the administration appears to be following through. Last month, the NIH pledged that more than a dozen human fetal tissue projects initiated by the Biden administration and intended to continue into next year would not be renewed. The University of Pittsburgh has been a major recipient of NIH funding, currently ranking sixth in the country for research dollars among all colleges and universities.”

  5. EXCERPT: “You may know Pennsylvania’s Democrat Supreme Court justices by the misery they inflicted during Covid. Former Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf declared a state of emergency on March 6, 2020, and locked down the state in response to the Covid pandemic. Then a Republican-led legislative resolution passed that would have returned the state to normal operations. The state Supreme Court invalidated the resolution on July 1, and because of that decision, the devastating shutdown lasted until June 2021.

Now the judges who made that happen want Pennsylvanians to vote to keep their power.

A Republican campaign to “vote no” Tuesday on all statewide judges on the ballot aims to flip the state Supreme Court’s far-left slant by denying activist judges a 10-year retention. They are Pennsylvania Supreme Court Justices Kevin M. Dougherty, 63; David Wecht, 63; and Christine Donohue, 72. All are already old enough to start drawing Social Security retirement benefits. If retained, Donohue will be 82 for her next retention vote. Currently the state Supreme Court has seven judges: five Democrats and two Republicans.

Republicans also urge voters to say no to the 10-year retention of Judge Michael H. Wojcik, 61, for the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court, and Alice Beck Dubow, 66, in the Superior Court.

In Pennsylvania, judges run with party affiliation for their first 10-year term. After that, they stop listing party affiliation on ballots, and voters are simply asked if the judge should be retained, voting yes or no.

“Retention is a nonpolitical method of reelecting Pennsylvania judges and is intended to be politically neutral as they do not require judges to engage in campaigning against other candidates,” the Administrative Office of Pennsylvania Courts wrote in a 2017 explainer. “Retention is specifically designed to keep judges out of the political fray while at the same time holding them accountable to the voters based on their overall records and performance in office. The intent is to provide a fair and nonpartisan way for the public to judge its judges.”

But the retention vote is highly partisan and totally political, with President Donald Trump and Gov. Josh Shapiro weighing in on social media.

Low voter turnout and other factors have allowed Democrats to take over the courts. And if you look back at how Democrat partisanship has played out for Pennsylvanians, it has been a decade of terribly lopsided decisions. Dougherty, Wecht, and Donohue were elected in 2015 and took their seats in 2016…..”

  6. Just The News: “A federal judge on Friday ruled President Donald Trump’s executive order requiring documentary proof of U.S. citizenship to register to vote is unconstitutional, making it even more necessary that Republicans in Congress take advantage of Trump’s momentum and pass the SAVE Act.

Trump signed the executive order in March, directing that within 30 days, “the Election Assistance Commission shall take appropriate action to require, in its national mail voter registration form issued under 52 U.S.C. 20508 … documentary proof of United States citizenship.”

The order also required state and local officials to record the type of documentation used and the date such documentation was issued. Some examples of documentary proof of citizenship include a United States passport, a REAL ID that indicates citizenship, a military identification card, and a valid federal or state government-issued identification.

But District Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly ruled the order is unconstitutional, arguing Trump “lacks the authority to direct such changes.”

“Because our Constitution assigns responsibility for election regulation to the states and to Congress, this Court holds that the President lacks the authority to direct such changes.”

Kollar-Kotelly has previously ruled against Trump as Democrats use lawfare to block, stall, or overturn Trump’s mandate. This ruling should also serve as a reminder: while Democrats are laser-focused on obstructing Trump’s agenda in court, Republicans in Congress have the power to act now.

That means passing the Safeguarding American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act, which would amend the 1993 National Voter Registration Act to require documentary proof of citizenship to register to vote. The legislation was previously passed by the Republican-led House.

While it is illegal for noncitizens to register to vote or vote, current federal law is largely toothless. Prospective voters simply check a tiny square box on a federal voter registration form attesting under penalty of perjury that they are a citizen. But that’s it — it’s the honor system. Both the SAVE Act and Trump’s order would give teeth to the law by requiring prospective voters prove they are a citizen.

If Democrats’ playbook is to block or reverse every Trump policy through unprecedented lawfare, Republicans’ response must be to make those policies law. The courts can slow Trump down, but Congress can secure true victories for election integrity. The fight must start with the SAVE Act.”

As I read Lindsey Halligan’s 48-page filing, detailing for the first time her case against Comey, two things stand out immediately. First, contrary to fake media and DC establishment narratives, this was always a strong case, supported by a copious record documenting Comey leaking to the media to shape his own false narratives. Second, it completely shatters the “Legally Blonde” stereotype that the media tried to push. Lindsey Halligan is an exceptionally sharp and capable attorney.

  8. Just The News: “The Federal Aviation Administration on Tuesday shut down flights at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport over security concerns. The FAA issued a ground stop, freezing all departing flights from the airport between 11:18 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. ET, according to the alert, the Daily Mail reported.

Crystal Nosal, Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Media Relations, said in a statement, “All flight operations are being held at Reagan National while passengers on a United Airlines flight are being offloaded and bussed to the terminal. We will provide more information as it becomes available.”

“United Airlines flight 512 landed at Reagan National Airport around 11:30 a.m. and then stopped on an adjacent runway away from the terminal in response to a security threat. Airport runways remained closed until passengers were safely offloaded and bussed to the terminal. Runways reopened at 12:50 p.m. Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority police are conducting a thorough investigation with the assistance of multiple law enforcement partners. Several flights were diverted to other airports during the runway closure. People meeting passengers or flying this afternoon should expect delays and check with their airline for updated flight information,” Nosal later added.

In a recording posted on X between an air traffic controller and the plane’s pilot, the ATC said, “We have an unconfirmed bomb report for your flight. We’ve got to get you away from the airport.”

Flight radar around the airport showed several planes circling during the ground stop, while others were diverted to other locations.

The ground stop impacted about 820 flights, with maximum delays of 66 minutes and average delays of 33 minutes.

The airport announced that “our main runway reopened at 12:50 p.m.” and “flights are resuming,” ARLnow reported. The United Airlines flight that caused the concern had arrived from Houston.”

FBI Boston posted on X on Tuesday regarding the arrests, saying, “BREAKING: Special agents & officers with FBI Boston’s Joint Terrorism Task Force & Harvard University Police Dept. have arrested two Massachusetts men in connection with an explosion at Harvard Medical School. Details to follow at a 1:00 p.m. news conference with [U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts] at the federal courthouse in Boston.”

Early Saturday morning, an officer who responded to a fire alarm encountered two people running from the Goldenson Building on Longwood Avenue, according to Harvard University Police, NBC Boston reported. The explosion occurred on the building’s fourth floor, which includes labs and offices associated with the medical school’s Department of Neurobiology.

The Boston Fire Department said the explosion was intentional, no one was injured, and officers did not find additional devices in a sweep of the building, according to police. “The small section of the fourth-floor hallway where the explosion took place has been cleared and is fully operational. There was no structural damage to the building, and all labs and equipment remain intact,” medical school officials said in a statement.”

  10. EXCERPT: “New data shows that an incredible 60 percent of those without work in Belgium were of non-Belgian background in 2023, and now new rules mean 180,000 people could lose their social welfare benefits starting next year.

Employment Minister David Clarinval found the data “rather astonishing” but also noted, according to Politico, that migrants not only do not understand the local language but can also “have difficulty understanding the institutional system.” Clarinval added that “everyone must work, including people of foreign origin.”

The Belgian government has now decided that, starting next year, unemployment benefits will end for those who have been out of work for more than 20 years, and benefits will be available for a maximum of two years. The move will see around 180,000 people lose their benefits next year, saving almost €2 billion for the state.

In addition, a huge share of those who are unemployed are non-European foreigners.

Stijn Baert, professor of labor economics at Ghent University, told another local news portal, “More than half of non-European foreigners living in Belgium have been unemployed for more than a year.”

“When we focus on migrants from countries outside the European Union, Belgium almost always ranks among the worst performers in Europe. In Belgium, more than half of unemployed non-European foreigners have been out of work for more than a year. Only Greece performs worse,” said Baert…..”

This means the Biden Administration turned over President Trump’s phone to Special Counsel—an UNPRECEDENTED action.

In addition, Special Counsel subpoenaed all of President Trump’s PERSONAL phone records.

U.S. — The nation is mourning the death of former Vice President Dick Cheney, who has tragically passed away without getting to see World War III.

The renowned politician, avid hunter of both animals and men, and 43rd most popular Vice President, passed away peacefully at 84, surrounded by family.

“He dedicated his life to achieving his dream of devastating global conflict, and it’s a shame he passed before any of his work came to fruition,” said close friend John Bolton while adding his signature to the latest batch of bombs coming off the assembly line. “We can only do our best to carry on his legacy until this wretched sphere is baptized in the holy fires of thermonuclear war.”

    “It’s what Dick would want.”

Cheney was known for vastly increasing the surveillance state, his aggressive foreign policy of invading Iraq and Afghanistan, and also for shooting a dude in the face. “We have lost a titan,” said Bolton.

At publishing time, reports from the celestial realm reported Cheney had opted to go to Hell after hearing it had oil.

U.S. — With SNAP funding temporarily blocked, beneficiaries of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program are reportedly wishing there were some way to trade their labor and services for money to buy food.

“That would be really convenient,” said Sarah Hartford, a divorced mother of two kids. “But I guess I’ll just sit here and starve to death. There’s literally no other way to make money.”

“If only there were some sort of social contract I could enter into where I complete certain tasks in exchange for money that I could then use to buy food,” noted Antoine Davis, a 43-year-old bachelor. “If only.”

Some of the more privileged members of society encouraged lower-income families to “pull themselves up by their bootstraps”, a statement that has been criticized for being confusing. “What’s a bootstrap?” asked one deadbeat father. “How does pulling it get me a beer?”

According to sources, SNAP beneficiaries have expressed bewilderment as to how anyone else makes money to feed themselves. “Are they just really good at finding coins? That’s how I get my money, I run around town jumping and collecting coins,” said Morro Hermano of Los Angeles.

Note: All SNAP interviewees were paid for their time with free hot dogs.

  18. Just The News: “House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan on Tuesday sent letters to two telecommunications companies that were subpoenaed by former special counsel Jack Smith regarding records of multiple Republican lawmakers as part of his Arctic Frost investigation.

Recent documents have shown that the Biden administration’s FBI opened an investigation into President Donald Trump and hundreds of his allies over their Jan. 6 activities, which included obtaining phone records and geolocations of prominent lawmakers.

Jordan sent the letters to AT&T and Verizon demanding documents and communications related to Smith’s subpoenas, per National Review.

“Recently released internal DOJ documents indicate that former Special Counsel Jack Smith compelled the production of phone records belonging to several Republican Members of Congress and simultaneously sought a gag order to prevent your company from disclosing the DOJ’s subpoenas into these individuals,” Jordan wrote in the letters to both companies.

“These findings raise serious concerns about potential statutory and constitutional violations, including violations of the Speech or Debate Clause, and we therefore request documents and information to aid in our oversight,” he continued. “It is concerning that the Biden-Harris DOJ abused its federal law enforcement authority to effectuate a politically motivated prosecution against President Trump, in such a clandestine and partisan manner, by spying on the communications of sitting Members of Congress.”

Verizon confirmed that it received the letter from Jordan and said it was cooperating with the investigation.

The letters come after the carriers produced documents related to the subpoenas to Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley as part of his probe. The new records showed Verizon’s willingness and AT&T’s objections when faced with Smith’s requests for private information.

Both companies were also given nondisclosure orders, which were signed by U.S. District Judge James Boasberg, who ordered the companies not to notify lawmakers of the subpoenas for a year.
