Happy National Ohio Day!

Here are some fun facts about Ohio—The Buckeye State (including what the heck a “buckeye” is!).

Ohio is derived from the Iroquois word “oyo,” meaning “great river.”

Seven U.S. presidents were born in Ohio: Ulysses S. Grant, Rutherford B. Hayes, James Garfield, Benjamin Harrison, William McKinley, William H. Taft and Warren G. Harding.

The burgee-shaped Ohio flag is the only non-rectangular state flag in the country.

You may hear “Hang On Sloopy” whenever you go to Ohio State football games. The song is the state’s official rock song.

Ohio is known as the Buckeye State, but what is a Buckeye? The buckeye tree bears fruit that contains a large nut. The tree got its name because it is dark brown with a light spot, resembling the shape and color of a deer’s eye.

Ohio hosts teams in all five major professional sports leagues, including

Cincinnati Reds and Cleveland Guardians (MLB)

Columbus Crew and FC Cincinnati (MLS)

Cleveland Cavaliers (NBA)

Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns (NFL

Columbus Blue Jackets (NHL)

Ohio has two world-class theme parks – King’s Island in Mason, and Cedar Point in Sandusky – and more than a dozen smaller amusement parks that are local favorites. There are also indoor and outdoor waterparks around the state.

The state beverage is tomato juice.

The state slogan is “Ohio, The Heart of It All.”

The biggest city in the state is Columbus.

Its not the first time they spoke Apparently Mamdani and some of his islamist advisers visited Obama in DC a few months ago

“Why did Mamdani visit Obama’s DC residence several times? Is he being groomed by Obama?”

        Thread:

THE KENYAN AND THE UGANDAN COMMUNIST:

        The Hidden Bridge:

How Zohran Mamdani’s Rise Crosses Paths with Barack Obama’s Legacy When Barack Obama picked up the phone to congratulate Zohran Mamdani after his 2025 Democratic primary win, it wasn’t just a courtesy call — it was a signal. A signal that the most prominent figure in modern Democratic politics had quietly extended legitimacy to one of the party’s most divisive new stars.

        1. The Direct Connection: Obama’s Call to Mamdani Multiple outlets — from CNN to The New York Post — have confirmed that Barack Obama personally called Mamdani after his mayoral primary victory: “In a lengthy call in June, Mr. Obama congratulated Mr. Mamdani, offered him advice about governing and discussed the importance of giving people hope in a dark time.” (JNS.org)

Mamdani himself confirmed it: “That call happened soon after the primary. … It was an honour to receive that time and those reflections from the former president.” (Grabien News)

And according to a CNN transcript: “Democratic New York mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani confirmed having multiple phone calls with former President Barack Obama.” (CNN Transcripts) Though Obama has issued no public endorsement, the call has been read as a strategic nod of credibility. (New York Post)

        2. Obama’s Network:

The Familiar Faces Behind Mamdani’s Campaign

Patrick Gaspard, Obama’s former White House Director of Political Affairs, DNC executive, and later U.S. Ambassador to South Africa, has emerged as one of Zohran Mamdani’s quiet power brokers. City & State NY describes him as an informal but crucial adviser, helping the campaign navigate New York’s complex political machinery and connecting Mamdani’s grassroots team with establishment figures who once would have kept their distance.

Jeffrey Lerner, who served in the Obama White House from 2009 to 2011 and later at the Democratic National Committee, now leads Mamdani’s communications strategy. As the campaign’s Communications Director, Lerner brings the disciplined messaging and narrative coherence honed during the Obama years — a steadying influence within a movement known for passion more than polish.

Jon Favreau, Obama’s celebrated chief speechwriter and voice behind the “Yes We Can” era, has also reappeared on the periphery of Mamdani’s operation. Media reports indicate that Favreau has maintained informal communication with one of Mamdani’s senior advisers, suggesting a shared rhetorical DNA between the two campaigns — concise, moral, and mobilizing.

Dan Pfeiffer, another of Obama’s top strategists and a longtime senior adviser, has been more explicit. He publicly called it “insane” to prefer Andrew Cuomo over Mamdani, a pointed statement that both affirmed Mamdani’s credibility and underscored the growing acceptance of his candidacy within the mainstream Democratic network.

Together, these veterans of Obama’s political orbit lend Mamdani more than experience — they give his campaign a sense of continuity. The organizational discipline, narrative control, and aspirational tone that once powered Obama’s rise now pulse through Mamdani’s movement, retooled for a new generation and a more radical moment.

        3. Echoes of Obama: The Symbolism and Strategy Commentators have drawn unmistakable parallels between the two: both sons of immigrants, both firsts in their political categories, both built campaigns around hope. “In that sense, Mamdani’s victory is an Obama moment for us.” — The Washington Post (Washington Post) A labor leader echoed the sentiment: “For me, Mamdani represents that change.” — Christophe Silvera, Teamsters Local 808. (The Chief)

Mamdani’s story is more than the rise of a progressive New York assemblyman — it marks the advance of an ideology that seeks to reshape the American experiment itself.

The echo of Obama’s political movement — its personnel, tone, and strategic DNA — has resurfaced not as a renewal of hope, but as a vessel for a more radical, collectivist agenda.
The bridge between Harlem and Hyde Park is no longer built on the promise of liberty and individual dignity, but on the centralizing logic of socialism — an ideology that, wherever it has taken hold, has eroded freedom, silenced dissent, and subordinated the person to the state.

In America, where human dignity depends on the right to think, speak, and prosper freely, that vision is not progress — it is a quiet step toward total control.

More details with publicly available dates:

        • Patrick Gaspard — Informal / strategic adviser (began 2024). Gaspard is reported to have been advising Mamdani starting in 2024 and has played a visible advisory role thereafter.

Described in press profiles as an informal but influential adviser, his involvement appears strategic and ongoing rather than that of a salaried campaign staffer.

        • Jeffrey Lerner — Hired as Communications Director (early July 2025). Multiple reports list Lerner (former DNC and White House official) as joining Mamdani’s campaign in July 2025 in an official communications role. This is the clearest documented hire; press coverage provides both a firm title and timeframe.

        • Dan Pfeiffer — Public commentator / sympathetic ally; public comment June 2025. Pfeiffer publicly commented on Mamdani’s race and appeared supportive in June 2025.

At the moment, there is no record of an official campaign hire. His involvement appears to be as a public supporter rather than a campaign employee.

        • Jon Favreau — Friendly media/podcast coverage and public commentary; no verified hire date. Favreau has discussed Mamdani on multiple podcasts and media platforms, often in positive or promotional terms. At the moment, there is no evidence of a formal employment or contract start date with the campaign. His participation appears to consist of favorable media coverage rather than formal staffing.

    2. Just The News: “President Donald Trump threatened Saturday to unleash U.S. military force in Nigeria and withhold foreign aid in a bid to stop the mass slaughter of Christians in that African country.

“If the Nigerian Government continues to allow the killing of Christians, the U.S.A. will immediately stop all aid and assistance to Nigeria, and may very well go into that now disgraced country, ‘guns-a-blazing,’ to completely wipe out the Islamic Terrorists who are committing these horrible atrocities,” Trump warned in a post on his Truth Social platform.

“I am hereby instructing our Department of War to prepare for possible action” he added. “If we attack, it will be fast, vicious, and sweet, just like the terrorist thugs attack our CHERISHED Christians! WARNING: THE NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT BETTER MOVE FAST!”

On Friday, Trump threatened possible sanctions against the African nation, declaring it a “country of particular concern.” In that post, he decried the deadly onslaught by Islamists, warning “Christianity is facing an existential threat in Nigeria. Thousands of Christians are being killed. Radical Islamists are responsible for this mass slaughter.”

Nigeria’s 220 million residents are largely divided between Christians and Muslims, with terror groups like Boko Haram carrying out systemic executions of Christians in that country in a bid to impose Islamic law.”

    3. Just The News: “Secretary of War Pete Hegseth says the U.S. military struck another drug-running boat in the Caribbean, killing three men in the latest effort to curb narco-trafficking to the United States.

Hegseth said late Saturday the latest strike was ordered by President Donald Trump, and he posted a short video on X of a missile hitting the vessel in international waters.

“This vessel—like EVERY OTHER—was known by our intelligence to be involved in illicit narcotics smuggling, was transiting along a known narco-trafficking route, and carrying narcotics,” Hegseth wrote in a social post .

“These narco-terrorists are bringing drugs to our shores to poison Americans at home—and they will not succeed. The Department will treat them EXACTLY how we treated Al-Qaeda. We will continue to track them, map them, hunt them, and kill them,” he added.

The strike brings to 67 the total number of alleged drug traffickers that the Trump administration has killed in military strikes since Trump designated the drug cartels as terrorist organizations earlier this year.”

    4. Just The News: “Over 100 juveniles on Halloween night in Washington, D.C., fought and caused mayhem in one of the city’s most notorious problem zones for such behavior, according to a news report Saturday.

A video that captured chaos appears to show National Guard members chasing after young people in the Navy Yard neighborhood, where this summer similar situations resulted, at least in part, in President Trump sending National Guard members to the nation’s capital.

The D.C. Metropolitan Police Department, the city’s police department, reportedly responded to a massive group of juveniles allegedly “engaging in fights and disrupting the flow of traffic.”

Five people were taken into custody, including four juveniles, and face such charges as possession of a prohibited weapon, public consumption of marijuana and resisting arrest, according to FoxNews.com.

Police said the group, which increased in size “to several hundred juveniles” at about 8 p.m., was initially peaceful. But later, many of the juveniles in the group started fighting and disrupting traffic. The situation was reportedly brought under control at about 11 p.m.

Additional MPD officers and others agencies including Metro Transit Police, United States Capitol Police, the National Guard, and members of the Federal Task Force also reportedly responded.”

POLITICO’s Defense of Letitia James Just Accidentally Proved the Fraud Case

      Full forensic analysis:

POLITICO consulted three legal experts to defend NY AG Letitia James:

      1. Georgetown Law professor
      2. Real estate expert
      3. Former HUD counsel

▸All cited Freddie Mac Bulletin 20197 to argue “including short-term rentals” saved her.
▸They cited the right document. They didn’t finish reading it.

HERE’S WHAT BULLETIN 20197 ACTUALLY SAYS: ▸”The property may be rented out on a short-term basis PROVIDED THAT the Borrower keeps the property available primarily (i.e., MORE THAN HALF OF THE CALENDAR YEAR) as a residence for the Borrower’s personal use”
      ▸182.5+ days minimum.
      ▸This isn’t ambiguous.
▸The bulletin POLITICO cited explicitly defines the standard.

THE QUESTION: How many days did James use the property during the mandatory first year (Aug 17, 2020 – Aug 17, 2021)?

      THE ANSWER:
🔥”ZERO PERSONAL USE DAYS” (reported to IRS)
      ▸0 ≠ 182.5
      ▸That’s not contract interpretation.
      ▸ That’s mathematics.

      THE FIVE CONTRADICTIONS
During that mandatory 12-month period, James made five sworn statements:

      1. To Bank: “Will use as secondary residence”
      2. To Insurance: “Owner-occupied non-seasonal use”
      3. To IRS: “Rental real estate” (classification)
      4. To IRS: “Zero personal use days” (usage)
      5. To NY State: “Investment property” (no mortgage disclosed)

Reality: Thompson (grandniece) lived there full-time.

These five statements cannot all be true.

      THE TRAP
      Here’s where it gets inescapable:
▸ IF THE RENTAL WAS PERMITTED: Under IRS rules, Thompson’s days = James’s personal use days. James reported “zero.” = Tax fraud (26 U.S.C. § 7206)
▸ IF THE RENTAL WASN’T PERMITTED: James violated the Second Home Rider during mandatory period. Obtained $18,933 through false pretenses. = Bank fraud (18 U.S.C. § 1344) There is no third option where James told the truth to everyone.

      THE FIVE-YEAR COVER-UP
Every year from 2020-2024, James filed Financial Disclosure Statements:
      ▸ Classified property as “investment”
▸ Never disclosed the $109,600 mortgage
▸ Used the “second home” exemption (only for residences, not investments)

Each electronic filing = wire fraud (18 U.S.C. § 1343) Five years = five counts This is “consciousness of guilt”—when the cover-up becomes its own crime.

      WHAT POLITICO ACTUALLY FOUND
      ✓ Cited Bulletin 20197
      ✓ Bulletin requires 182.5+ days
      ✓ James reported zero days
      ✓ 0 ≠ 182.5
✓ Their source proves the violation

Three experts. One document. All cited the standard. None checked if James met it.

      THE BOTTOM LINE
      During the mandatory first year:
▸ Promised “primarily for personal use” → violated
      ▸ Reported “owner-occupied” to insurance → false
▸ Reported “zero personal use days” to IRS → contradicts rider
▸ Classified as “rental real estate” → contradicts rider
▸ Classified as “investment” to NY State → contradicts loan
▸ Thompson lived there full-time → not personal use
      ▸ James never used it → 0 ≠ 182.5
Seven events. Five contradictory statements. Five years of cover-up.

When James prosecuted Trump, she said: “No one is above the law. There cannot be different rules for different people.”

POLITICO’s analysis—using their own sources—proves that standard applies to everyone. Including the Attorney General of New York.

      📊 Required: 182.5+ days | Reported: 0 days

No scenario exists where James told the truth to everyone.

“Soon, it will be time to go 40,000 feet. Hillary’s former aide, Huma Abedin, is connected to the Muslim Brotherhood, and is married to Alex Soros. Both the Muslim Brotherhood and Soros have infiltrated the US government, and have been destroying this nation from within.

George Soros is the one who bought up all the Left-wing politicians, controls prosecutors and judges all across the nation, and was the main architect behind the USAID money laundering scheme that he used to fund Left-wing terrorism, to include Antifa.

Now we have Obama and the Democrats trying to prop up Mamdami as the next young and upcoming Democrat. The enemies of this nation knew they could never stand up to us in direct military confrontation, so they sought to infiltrate us and destroy us from within, and in many ways, they succeeded.

However bad you think our situation was, it was worse. We were a centimeter away from the end of humanity as we know it.”

On Monday, I will ask President Trump, via X, to help save my life. He offered to help me if I needed it.

      I need it.

As many of you know, I have metastasized prostate cancer.

My healthcare provider, Kaiser of Northern California, has approved my application to receive a newly FDA-approved drug called Pluvicto. But they have dropped the ball in scheduling the brief IV to administer it and I can’t seem to fix that.

I am declining fast. I will ask President Trump if he can get Kaiser of Northern California to respond and schedule it for Monday. That will give me a fighting chance to stick around on this planet a little bit longer.

It is not a cure, but it does give good results to many people.

    9. “Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has ignited heated controversy after refusing to wear the NFL’s Pride-themed helmet decal ahead of a highly anticipated prime-time matchup. The decal was designed as part of the league’s initiative to celebrate inclusivity and support the LGBTQ+ community, but Jones made it clear he would not participate.

Speaking candidly, Jones criticized what he called the “woke agenda,” insisting that football should stay centered on performance and teamwork — not political or social campaigns.

His statement spread rapidly across social media, dividing fans, players, and analysts nationwide. Within hours, the Cowboys owner became the focal point of one of the most polarizing debates of the NFL season: should sports serve as a stage for activism, or remain purely about the game?

When you’re personal wealth is in excess of $ 20 billion, that’s an awful lotta ‘go fuck yourself’ you can throw around. I’m not a football fan at all, but this I like. Juss’ sayin’…”

    10. “For 17 years – from 1953 until 1970 – United ran daily flights that didn’t allow women. These men‑only trips were branded “The Executive” (“The Chicago Executive” / “The New York Executive”), and later there was a west coast flight between Los Angeles and San Francisco.

Marketed as “a club in the sky—For Men Only,” the service featured first class seating, steak dinners, cocktails, complimentary cigars, slippers, teletype business news with closing market quotes, and a “last‑minute message” service before pushback.

Women (other than the stewardesses) and children were not allowed. The service began on DC‑6B “Mainliners,” later shifting to Sud‑Aviation Caravelle VI‑R jets in an all‑first‑class 64‑seat 2‑2 layout.

After complaints (including a 1969 NOW protest and federal regulatory filings) and declining loads, United ended the service January 14, 1970.”

    11. “Professors Karle Flanagan and Wade Fagen-Ulmschneider, known as the Data Science Duo, recently confronted a group of students in their introductory data science course who had been accused of cheating and falsifying their attendance records. The professors grew suspicious when they received dozens of nearly identical apology emails from the accused students, which they soon discovered had been generated using artificial intelligence.

The incident occurred on October 17, when the professors read aloud the less-than-genuine apologies in a large lecture hall, projecting the emails on a screen for all to see. The students’ laughter in the background of the video footage indicated that they instantly recognized that AI was used to generate the emails.

So how smart are these kids? They’re milking somebody for their tuition, they get to fuck around for four years, coming out of school with a degree in Flower Botany, and they fake their way all the way through. Might be nice if their student loan debt crushes ’em for 20 years or so..”
