    3 Killed, 8 Wounded in Mass Shooting: Gunman Opens Fire From Boat on Southport, North Carolina Dockside Restaurant

    A gunman in a boat pulled up to the American Fish Company restaurant dock in the North Carolina coastal town of Southport’s Southport Yacht Basin Saturday night and opened fire, killing three and wounding eight according to a city official. The shooter escaped via the Intracoastal Waterway, however a person of interest was being interviewed according to a late update. 

    The City of Southport earlier posted an active shooter alert to Facebook at 9:53 p.m. EDT:, “There are reports of an active shooter in the Southport Yacht Basin. There is an unknown number of injuries. Avoid the area and remain in your homes. Please report any suspicious activity immediately to 911.”

    The judge assigned to Comey’s case is a Biden judge who is absolutely totally conflicted but he is making no mention of recusing himself. This is perhaps the worst conflict in US history and we hear crickets from the judge. This is so bad it must be criminal. How can the judge keep a law license after not recusing himself.
    So the judge that has been assigned the James Comey case goes by the name of Michael Nachmanoff. He was appointed as a federal judge by Joe Biden. But the plot thickens. Nachamanoff was given his first job out of law school working for the eastern district of Virginia by James Comey in 1995-1996. And then hired back again by James Comey once again in 2002 after working in a private practice didn’t work out well for him. You can’t make this shit up. It’s right there on the Internet just open your eyes and look. Nachamanoff worked for / with Comey! This is a massive conflict of interest, and he must recuse himself immediately!

    Really odd on the judges rotation roster the most corrupt, conflicted, radical liberal Trump hating, Conservative hating Obama or Biden appointed judge ALWAYS come up. Something stinks.

  6. Just The News: “President Donald Trump will meet with the top four congressional leaders on Monday, seeking to strike a possible bipartisan deal to avoid a government shutdown ahead of an Oct . 1 deadline.

    The planned meeting with Senate Majority Leader John Thune, Senate Democrat Leader Chuck Schumer, House Speaker Mike Johnson and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries was confirmed Saturday night to Just the News by multiple sources.

    Schumer and Jeffries issued a statement confirming their attendance at Monday’s meeting  

    “President Trump has once again agreed to a meeting in the Oval Office,” the Democrat leaders said. “As we have repeatedly said, Democrats will meet anywhere, at any time and with anyone to negotiate a bipartisan spending agreement that meets the needs of the American people. We are resolute in our determination to avoid a government shutdown and address the Republican healthcare crisis. Time is running out.”

    The 11th hour session comes a week after Trump canceled a meeting with Schumer and Jeffries after concluding their demands for hundreds of billions of dollars in spending was “unserious and ridiculous.”

    Federal spending is set to expire Tuesday night and the White House has already begun preparing contingency plans for a shutdown, including trimming the size of government agencies.”

  7. Just The News: “President Trump ordered his administration on Friday night to release “all Government Records related to Amelia Earhart, her final trip, and everything else about her.”

    Trump posted about the order on social media.

    “I have been asked by many people about the life and times of Amelia Earhart, such an interesting story, and would I consider declassifying and releasing everything about her, in particular, her last, fatal flight! She was an Aviation Pioneer, the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean, and achieved many other Aviation ‘firsts.’ She disappeared in the South Pacific while trying to become the first woman to fly around the World,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

    “Amelia made it almost three quarters around the World before she suddenly, and without notice, vanished, never to be seen again. Her disappearance, almost 90 years ago, has captivated millions. I am ordering my Administration to declassify and release all Government Records related to Amelia Earhart, her final trip, and everything else about her,” he added.”

  8. Just The News: “A federal judge in Minnesota has ruled that Mike Lindell, the founder of MyPillow, defamed voting technology firm Smartmatic by claiming on numerous occasions that its machines helped rig the 2020 presidential election.

    In a decision issued Friday, U.S. District Judge Jeffrey Bryan identified 51 instances in which Lindell made false statements in media appearances and in documentaries, claiming that Smartmatic manipulated results, according to the Associated Press.

    The judge wrote that “no reasonable trier of fact could find that any of the statements at issue are true.”

    Judge Bryan hasn’t yet decided if Lindell acted with “actual malice,” which Smartmatic would need to prove to recover damages.”

  9. Just The News: “Argentina’s poverty rate has dropped sharply to its lowest level in several years, which supporters of cost-cutting President Javier Milei are touting as a win for his economic agenda. 

    According to the national statistics agency cited by Semafor, about 32% of Argentinians lived in poverty during the first half of 2025, which represents a sharp decline from roughly 53% when Milei assumed office in late 2023. Semafor also noted that double-digit monthly inflation growth has come down to 2% in August as well. 

    Milei has appeared in the U.S. at the Conservative Political Action Conference and touted the benefits of reducing the deficit in Argentina.”

  10. “As of Sunday, September 28, 2025, one person was killed and nine others were injured in a shooting at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Grand Blanc, Michigan, with the suspect, a 40-year-old male from Burton, being shot and killed by police after ramming his vehicle through the church’s front doors and opening fire. The church was deliberately set on fire by the suspect, and authorities believe additional victims may be found inside once the scene is fully secure.

    • The shooting occurred just before 11 a.m. local time during a large worship service attended by hundreds of people.
    • The suspect was neutralized in a shootout involving two officers—one from the Grand Blanc Township Police Department and another from the Department of Natural Resources.
    • The fire has been extinguished, but the building remains unsafe for entry, delaying a full assessment of casualties.
    • The Grand Blanc Township Police Department confirmed there is no ongoing threat to the public, though residents are urged to avoid the area.
    • The FBI, ATF, and over 100 FBI agents have been deployed to assist in the investigation, with officials searching the suspect’s property and cell phone records.
    • U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi and Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer condemned the attack, calling it “unacceptable” and “heartbreaking,” particularly given the violence occurred at a place of worship.
    • The incident occurred one day after the death of Russell M. Nelson, the 101-year-old president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.”

    Amir Amiri, who was detained in Afghanistan in December 2024, was freed on Sunday and is now en route to the United States. His release was made possible through the efforts of Qatari diplomats, working closely with the office of the U.S. Special Envoy for Hostage Response. Qatar has served as Washington’s protecting power in Afghanistan since the U.S. withdrawal in 2021.

    The breakthrough followed diplomatic negotiations that began in March, when Qatari officials arranged a meeting between Amiri and the U.S. Special Envoy during a visit to Afghanistan. 

    Throughout his detention, Qatari representatives carried out health checks and maintained regular contact with U.S. officials while the negotiations moved along.

    Amiri’s case marks the fifth time this year that a U.S. citizen has been released from Afghan custody with Qatari help. Earlier in 2025, Americans Ryan Corbett and William McKenty were freed in January, while George Glezmann and Faye Hall were released separately in March.”

  21. We used to have a Nash like this, sans the posters/stickers, and only a 2-door – we called it Big Bertha! When the lake south of town where we had our cabin flooded, my Mom joked that we could turn Big Bertha upside down and use it like a boat! LOL – that was when I was first adopted and she would put me on her lap and let me drive!
