Based on the latest reports from the investigation into his assassination on September 10, 2025, at Utah Valley University, authorities have confirmed the recovery of the murder weapon—a high-powered, bolt-action rifle (likely a .30-06 Mauser)—found wrapped in a towel in a nearby wooded area, along with a spent cartridge still chambered in the rifle and three unfired rounds in the magazine. These items, including the cartridge casings, were sent to a federal lab at Quantico for ballistic analysis, where inscriptions like “Hey fascist, catch!” and references to anti-fascist themes were noted.
    However, no sources indicate that the actual projectile (the bullet itself) was located at the scene or during the autopsy. The single shot struck Kirk in the neck, and given the distance (fired from a rooftop) and the rifle’s power, it’s likely the bullet either exited the body, fragmented, or remained embedded but was not publicly confirmed as recovered—possibly due to ongoing forensic processing or investigative sensitivity. Just The News: “The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) is planning on providing an additional $18 million in grants to schools who want to participate in the Patrick Leahy Farm to School Grant Program, nearly 20% of the entire funding allotted over the 12-year life of the program.

    The Patrick Leahy Farm to School Grant Program, managed by the USDA’s Food and Nutrition Service, promotes the inclusion of local foods, agricultural education, and nutrition-focused activities in schools across the country. Since its inception in 2013, it has distributed $100 million to support over 1,275 initiatives, increasing students’ access to fresh, local produce while building ties to regional agriculture. 

    Child nutrition, community food networks

    Aligning with the Make America Healthy Again’s (MAHA) efforts to move away from processed foods, the program funds efforts such as school gardens, farm field trips, and local food sourcing to enhance child nutrition and bolster community food networks.

    The program also incorporates education in food safety, summer programs, and farm-to-school initiatives in tribal communities. The USDA’s Wednesday announcement confirms that the 2026 investment represents the “largest total amount” the department has offered in a single year.

    On Tuesday, Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. released over 100 recommendations in his “Make Our Children Healthy Again” strategy report. The report addresses some of the most pressing health issues facing children in the United States, such as poor diet, chemical exposure, lack of physical activity and chronic stress, and overmedicalization.

    Roughly 60% of the typical U.S. diet is made up of ultra-processed foods, packed with added sugars, salt, and unhealthy fats, fueling obesity and chronic illnesses. Research indicates a global rise in ultra-processed food consumption by 5-10% over the last 20 years, especially in low- and middle-income nations. These nutrient-poor foods contribute to nearly 90% of added sugar consumption in the U.S., increasing risks of diabetes and cardiovascular issues.

    One in five American kids suffer from obesity

    In the United States, the CDC reports that approximately one in five children and adolescents aged 2 to 19 years—equating to about 14.7 million individuals—suffer from obesity, with prevalence rates reaching 19.7% overall based on data from 2017 to 2020, and showing higher rates among adolescents at 22.2%. 

    This contributes significantly to chronic diseases, as childhood obesity triples the risk of developing type 2 diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular issues, and even certain cancers like breast and colon in later life, while also elevating markers of chronic inflammation as early as age three. Economically, the burden is substantial, with annual medical costs for obesity among U.S. children totaling $1.3 billion in 2019 dollars, or $116 more per child per year compared to those at a healthy weight.

    The announcement touted a number of additions and improvements. A streamlined application process should simplify requirements to take part in the program, reduce barriers for applicants and encourage more innovation and partnerships.

    Despite misinformation, the program is growing

    The program will also broaden eligibility to include state and local agencies, tribal organizations, more schools and child nutrition programs, nonprofits and more agricultural producers. Access is also expanded to include all child nutrition programs like summer educational programs and child care. Grants range from $100,000 to $500,000 per project.

    The program has been needing an overhaul. A recent USDA survey found that while nearly half of Iowa’s school districts offer classroom agriculture programs, only about 15% maintain edible school gardens. By supporting such initiatives, the program strives to spark interest in farming among students while boosting rural economies. Previous grants have facilitated nearly $790 million in local food purchases by schools in a single year, providing direct economic benefits to farmers and producers.

    In March of this year, Democratic politicians and their associates in the left-leaning media blared headlines saying “USDA yanks $3.4M in aid to state food banks,” “Jackson Food Program Disrupted as USDA Cancels Farm-to-School Grant,” and “Schools and farmers left scrambling after USDA axes $100 million program.” In fact, the program was not canceled. 

    Buried at the end of a story calling the program “canceled,” a USDA spokesperson told Little Rock Public Radio in March that the program was not canceled, but “paused” pending review, and that the Trump administration is “making plans for a new funding opportunity in FY26.”

    Six months later, those plans have arrived.”

    1. Problem is – most of the people who work in lunchrooms can’t really cook from scratch. Most wouldn’t know how to prepare fresh vegetables. They would need recipes.

      And the kids may not have a taste for fresh vegetables and fruit because they don’t have parents who know how to or want to cook balanced meals from basic foods, meat, vegs, rice, potatoes.

Just The News: “In the wake of the assassination of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, thousands of social media posts appear to list politically conservative targets for assassination by the political left. Those on the list include podcaster Joe Rogan, Harry Potter author JK Rowling, conservative political commentators Ben Shapiro and Matt Walsh, among others.

    In response to being targeted, Rowling, said, “If you believe free speech is for you but not your political opponents, you’re illiberal. If no contrary evidence could change your beliefs, you’re a fundamentalist. If you believe the state should punish those with contrary views, you’re a totalitarian. If you believe political opponents should be punished with violence or death, you’re a terrorist.”

    Shapiro said, “We will never stop debating and discussing. We will never stop standing up for what America is and what she should be. And we will never let Charlie’s voice die.”

    Walsh also said people were sending him screenshots of posted death threats, saying, “A lot of concerned people are sending me these screenshots (and dozens more). I appreciate their concern. But I’m not surprised and I won’t be going into hiding. We have to be louder and bolder now than ever. Or else the demons who killed Charlie win. And they cannot win.”

    A website has also been launched to “Expose Charlie’s Murderers.” It includes statements posted on social media by individuals who allegedly espouse violence as well as those celebrating Kirk’s assassination.

    “We have received nearly 20,000 submissions,” the site says. “This website will soon be converted into a searchable database of all 20,000 submissions, filterable by general location and job industry. This is a permanent and continuously-updating archive of Radical activists calling for violence.”

    The website has posted screenshots of the posts made, the alleged poster’s name, publicly available information about their employer, the company’s name, university or college and other publicly available information like the town and state where they live that the poster made public themselves.

    One post states, “We need to find people with better aim,” implying more politically conservative individuals should be murdered. Others posts state, “God bless the Second Amendment right;” “Are guns an issue now?” with graphic depictions of Kirk’s murder; “White supremacist down,” among others. Many posts refer to Kirk and his followers as “Nazis.”

    According to publicly available social media posts, those making the claims include U.S. military contractor employees; students and faculty from multiple colleges and universities, early childhood teachers and daycare workers, assisted living and senior living facilities employees, city fire department employees, attorneys, a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader; school board members, a U.S. Army career counselor, among thousands more.

    Those making the posts appear to be from different economic and racial demographics and appear to identify as the political left. They openly claim to oppose Christianity and support LGBTQ, policies, according to the screenshots of the posts.

    Separate from the website, screenshots of social media posts of individuals celebrating Kirk’s assassination are also being posted online. Clemson College Republicans highlighted two professor posts, including a since deleted post stating Kirk’s assassination was karma and another saying, “Nigga was worried about DEI and DIED instead.” CCR also posted the phone numbers of the president and deans calling for accountability. The university has yet to issue a statement.

    At Seattle Central College, the directive, “Kill All Charlie Kirks” was spray-painted on a college sign and an image of Kirk being killed was posted on a message board stating, “debate this.” Political commentator Sarah Stock said, “Not only are leftists gleefully celebrating Charlie’s murder, they are now using it to incite violence against conservative college students. This is political terrorism.”

    Utah Gov. Spencer Cox said at a news conference that authorities found shell casings with several inscriptions, including, “Hey fascist, Catch!” and “Oh bella ciao, bella ciao, bella ciao, ciao, ciao,” referring to a song used by resistance fighters in Italy during World War II.

    Cox has described Kirk’s murder as a political assassination and is working to ensure his killer receives the death penalty. On Friday morning, he announced that Kirk’s alleged assassin, Tyler Robinson, 22 of Utah, had been apprehended, The Center Square reported.

    Online threats made about conservatives and public figures have been reported to law enforcement. By contrast to the hatred spewed online, pastors are calling Americans to prayer, hoping Kirk’s death is a “catalyst to return America to a people of Godly values,” The Center Square reported.”

For many years now, they demonized all of us with labels like racist, fascist, Nazi, far-right, or anti-this & anti-that, all for no reason other than to cause enough people to hate with such passion they were/are willing to resort to the most heinous of actions…such as murder or other demonic acts of power.

    Charlie Kirk’s brutal assassination is a stark warning to many other public personas to shut up, or your next.     Coupled with a relentless censorship movement that silences dissent and a surging epidemic of youth mental health crises, we’ve created a tinderbox. Disturbed young minds, bombarded with messages that validate violence against “harmful” speech, are twisting these ideas into calls to action—with tragic results.

    Consider the chilling evolution. A recent survey by the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression (FIRE) found that record numbers of college students now believe it’s acceptable to shout down speakers, obstruct event entrances, or even use violence to prevent controversial talks.

    In the 2026 College Free Speech Rankings, 71% of students approved of shouting down a speaker, a sharp rise from prior years. This isn’t hyperbole; it’s a generational rewrite of reality, where emotional bruises are treated as battle wounds.

    At the heart of this lies the censorship juggernaut, which doesn’t just police words—it polices thoughts. In Canada, the compulsion to affirm reaches absurd, Orwellian heights. Take Robert Hoogland, a British Columbia father who in 2021 was sentenced to six months in jail for refusing to use male pronouns for his gender-dysphoric teenage daughter and for speaking publicly about his concerns over rushed medical transitions for minors, in violation of a court gag order.

    The judge ruled his words amounted to “family violence,” forcing him to affirm what he believed was untrue—or face incarceration. It’s a stark illustration of compelled speech: Not only must you hold your tongue, but you must lie with it.

    Across the Atlantic, the United Kingdom’s censorship trends make America’s content moderation battles look tame by comparison. British police now arrest over 30 people daily—more than 12,000 annually—for “offensive” online communications under vague laws criminalizing messages that cause mere “annoyance” or “inconvenience.” These aren’t threats of violence; they’re tweets, posts, and memes deemed distasteful.

    Just this past week, comedian Graham Linehan, co-creator of Father Ted, was arrested at Heathrow Airport for allegedly “misgendering” trans activists on social media, intercepted by armed officers after flying in from Arizona and sparking a national outcry over free speech.

    Earlier this year, a pensioner in Scotland was jailed for 12 weeks after posting a video criticizing Scottish nationalism, while convictions under similar provisions reached 1,119 in 2023 alone, a drop from prior peaks but still reflecting a 58% increase in arrests since 2019.

    Critics warn that Britain’s model—where even “non-crime hate incidents” are logged and can derail careers—could export its chill to the world. This isn’t benign overreach; it’s fertile ground for distortion, especially amid a youth mental health crisis that’s exploded in tandem.

    Autism diagnoses have skyrocketed, with one in 31 American children born in 2014 now identified as autistic, up nearly five times from rates two decades earlier, when we already faced a national emergency, according to CDC data.

    Anxiety and depression rates among teens have doubled since 2010, with 20% of adolescents ages 12-17 reporting unmet mental health needs as of 2025. The response to the Covid pandemic accelerated the slide, but experts point to social media’s echo chambers and schools’ emphasis on “trauma-informed” education as deeper culprits.

    When vulnerable young people—already grappling with isolation and identity flux—hear endlessly that words are weapons, it warps into permission. We’ve seen it in campus shout-downs turning physical, doxxing campaigns escalating to threats, and worse: the 2017 stabbing of a British politician by a man radicalized online against “hate speech” enablers.

In court, Miller-Young’s defense invoked historical traumas like slavery and forced pregnancy, arguing the images triggered an uncontrollable response akin to PTSD. She didn’t win—pleading no contest to assault, theft, and battery charges, she received three years’ probation—but the argument’s very airing in a U.S. courtroom marked a Rubicon.

    For the first time, a tenured academic formally equated ideological offense with physical threat, normalizing a logic that would echo in countless viral videos of disrupted lectures and street brawls. In retrospect, it was the canary in the coal mine: Words as violence wasn’t fringe; it was filing paperwork.

    The fallout? A generation ill-equipped for democracy’s rough edges, where debate devolves into de-escalation teams and safe spaces supplant town halls.

    But the path forward isn’t more rules—it’s roots. Tackle censorship at its source: Reform compelled-speech laws, protect anonymous dissent, and defund the outrage industrial complex.     “Let’s call them the “January 6 Rules.”

    Apparently, in some attempted “gotcha” effort, social media influencers on the Left are calling out MAGA’s purported ideological pivot following the vile response by many on their side to the assassination of Charlie Kirk last week. Kirk’s legion of admirers is publicly identifying individuals—many of whom unsurprisingly work in the education system—cheering Kirk’s murder online. Several have been fired including perpetual head case Matthew Dowd at MSNBC.

    But it is MAGA’s crusade to “cancel” those haters, not the expression of hate itself necessarily, causing performative pearl-clutching on the Left. What happened to conservatives’ defense of unfettered free speech and rejection of “cancel culture,” professional posters such as Michael Tracey ask online?

    Well, to Tracey and his ilk, allow me to answer: January 6, 2021.

    Immediately following the media’s crowning of Joe Biden as president, the Left insisted any talk of voting fraud in the 2020 presidential election represented “the Big Lie,” a term first used by Adolf Hitler; subsequently, everyone including President Trump who openly doubted the outcome of the election was branded a Nazi.

    After four-hour protest on January 6, the Left claimed President Donald Trump’s speech at the Ellipse that morning had “incited” a mob that attempted to overthrow democracy—while of course conveniently omitting the “peacefully and patriotically” part of the address. The Democratic-led House of Representatives impeached the president a week later for “incitement of insurrection” despite the fact no “insurrection” nor “incitement” occurred.

    Trump, along with hundreds of thousands of his supporters, were deplatformed by social media titans. Amazon Web Services also shuttered Parler, at the time considered the conservative alternative to Twitter.

    When Joe Biden took power, his Department of Justice immediately opened a criminal investigation into the president based not just on his words and actions but also those of his aides and voters. Every Trump associate from his closest advisors to former Vice President Michael Pence were hauled before a grand jury in Washington and forced to disclose details of private conversations with the president. Steve Bannon and Peter Navarro went to jail for refusing to cooperate with the Biden DOJ’s counterpart in Congress, the January 6 Select Committee.

    Top DOJ official Jeffrey Clark was named a co-conspirator in Special Counsel Jack Smith’s J6-related indictment for writing a letter that was perfectly legal and never sent. (The attempted cancellation of Clark is still underway at the D.C. Bar.) Well-funded nonprofits working with Democratic officials sought to disbar attorneys who had worked on election-related lawsuits for the president.

    Dozens of Trump advisors were indicted in other states for organizing and sending alternate slates of electors for January 6, a common act of political protest that a top National Archives official later confirmed happens every four years.An Arrest Per Day for Political Speech

    During the biggest criminal investigation in U.S. history—a factoid Attorney General Merrick Garland and FBI Director Christopher Wray often bragged about—the feds arrested an average of at least one Jan 6 protester per day. Investigators, with the voluntary help of Big Tech, retrieved deleted social media accounts including private messages to look for anything that could be considered evidence of incriminating behavior. In many cases, memes mocking Democrats or questioning the 2020 election were included in arrest warrants even for nonviolent misdemeanants.

    At trial, J6 prosecutors claimed any reference to the Founding Fathers, the American Revolution, and the Declaration of Independence in private group chats was proof of wrongdoing. Even repeating or posting the words of Thomas Jefferson—”the tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants”—meant that particular J6er wanted war, according to the Biden DOJ.

    Government witnesses including Capitol police officers routinely explained to Trump-hating D.C. jurors that the simple act of carrying an American flag inside of what used to be considered the “People’s House” and chanting “USA, USA!” is a crime.

    The list goes on and on. But there is no question that the J6 prosecution of President Trump, his allies, and his voters represented the government’s gravest attack on free speech in U.S. history.

    And that was only part of the torment endured by J6ers. Branded as “domestic terrorists” and “insurrectionist” by everyone from Joe Biden down to the local yokel newspaper reporter in their town, J6er were cancelled en masse by society. Most were immediately fired. Private companies stripped J6ers of their service; DoorDash, AirBnB, Lyft, and Uber were just a few that cancelled the accounts of J6ers, even those charged with petty offenses. Major financial institutions cancelled mortgages, credit cards, and banking accounts.

    Those impacts continue to this day while many J6er still struggle to find employment and put their lives back together.

    So yes, Michael Tracey, things have changed. For four years, your side promoted the criminalization of free speech and endorsed cancel culture all in the name of the “Big Lie” and the “insurrection.” The Biden regime and the media used January 6 to try to cancel President Trump and the entire MAGA movement.

    It didn’t work—and neither will the guilt-tripping about so-called abandoned principles.”
