  1. Morning All!
60* and dreary out there this morning. looks like rain coming…finally. the bunny was just back up and sniffing around on the deck. we’re worried he’s getting in the trap and nibbling on the mouse bait that’s in there for the raccoon. i haven’t seen him go in there and we’re arguing over whether or not he’s heavy enough to set off the trap to begin with. But some of the bait was gone yesterday morning and the trap wasn’t set off. so, …???

    1. Good morning, Pat! Uh-oh – it does sound like he’s getting into the bait. They are VERY lightweight. The bait isn’t poisoned, is it???

It is 65 here this morning and looks like a clear day is on tap – good, I want to do some weed eating. Possible storms tonight so I need to do it while I can!

I finally tried Rodney’s suggestion of elevating my legs above my heart – I only did it for about 20 minutes but, wow! What a difference just that small amount of time made! When I first get up in the morning and lower my legs to the floor, they REALLY hurt. When I got up after doing that, they hardly hurt at all and I could see that they weren’t nearly as swollen!!! It was amazing!!! I should have known that Rodney would know, after all his health issues! I will make sure to do that every day from now on – I can do it on the couch so I can watch TV or read a book and not get bored.

      1. Good Morning!
EXCELLENT! always good to find non-medical ways to deal with problems!!!!
the bait IS poisoned–it’s to kill mice/rats. the raccoons eat it like candy and because of their size it won’t kill them. but the idiot raccoon ate all the bait and then sucked the ant bait traps dry. i think that might have killed him–it certainly gave him diarrhea the first few times.

          1. well there AREN’T a lot of rabbit up here. down on the road? plenty. but up here? nope. these are the first we’ve seen in about a dozen years. we used to have numerous hawks up here and i think they nabbed a lot of bunnies. we still see the hawks occasionally down on the road and that one was up here that nabbed the oriole, but we see them less and less too.

    2. Good morning, Pat and Filly.

It started raining yesterday before daylight and rained all day. We needed it! 80% chance of rain this afternoon. 60-70-80% chance the rest of the week. The tropics are beginning to crank out tropical systems and we are keeping a wary eye on every counter-clockwise wind flow.

I got a bit of yard work done – dug out small 2-3 foot tree sproutlings from my garden beds. Lots of grasses in the small bed on the east side of the house. I’m so out of shape and the humidity makes me even more tired. I have to stay hydrated or the heat hits extra hard.

      Hope y’all have a super-good day!

“Flynn’s Rules of Diplomacy for American Officials: Moving Toward a Nuclear Conflict”

Michael T. Flynn LTG USA (RET), Aug 05, 2025

EXCERPT: “I have never been a Diplomat, although at times had to be diplomatic. Even though I had interactions with the State Department during my 33 years in the U.S. Army, I really am not sure about how American diplomats are instructed to speak to or about other great powers, specifically the Russian Federation. What I hear coming out of the mouths of officials in both the Legislative and Executive Branches leads me to believe the American government has little to no standards.

In my judgment, these comments are made to denigrate Russia, but they also degrade us as a nation. This is not how great powers should deal with each other. If there is a rulebook of diplomatic speech these people are following, it needs to be thrown out the window. The same is true about how we treat all other great powers. To what standard should we then hold ourselves?

Rather than proceed toward a nuclear standoff, my basic message is that all American officials must speak about and treat the Russian Federation and its President Vladimir Putin with the respect due a great power (and a nuclear power). As our nation inches toward a senseless and avoidable nuclear world war, I am willing to risk being criticized for weakness or naivety or anything else that the Deep State may choose. I don’t care.

These same forces already tried their best to destroy me when I was appointed as President Trump’s first National Security Advisor and tried to calm the waters with then-Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak. People forget now, but the Obama Administration lied about Russian hacking of the Democrat National Committee servers and the 2016 election, and unfairly expelled 35 Russian Diplomats on December 29, 2016.

Among other topics I spoke with Ambassador Kislyak about was to urge him to not overreact, as a new Administration would be taking over soon. For this, I paid a heavy price. In one of our calls, the transcript reflects me telling the Ambassador, “you are not talking to a diplomat; you are talking to a soldier. I am a very practical guy. It’s all about solutions.” That is how I still feel. Perhaps that put a target on my back then, and perhaps it will now. So be it.

For the sake of reducing the risk of nuclear war, and for the sake of having decent relations with Russia, and for the sake of our children and grandchildren, this is a time for American officials to stop mouthing off at Russia like spoiled children. And, we must follow some basic rules about behaviors like not lying, cheating, and stealing. Many in Congress are probably impossible to control, but here is my effort to lay down the rules that I would urge we follow regarding how we speak about and treat the Russian Federation, its leadership, and most important, the people of Russia.

    The Rules:….”

  4. “50 Bizarre Side Effects of Common Medicines”

    Sharyl Attkisson, Aug 04, 2025

EXCERPT: “Medicine saves lives every day, combating everything from infections to chronic pain. But the little-discussed reality is that adverse drug reactions are the third leading cause of death in the US, claiming over 250,000 lives annually.

Even more insidious, side effects can emerge months or years after starting—or stopping—a medication, long after you’ve forgotten about it, as seen with delayed tendon damage from antibiotics or bone issues from osteoporosis drugs.

These delayed reactions highlight how drugs can ripple through the body in unexpected ways, affecting organs and systems far beyond their intended target.

From hormonal havoc to bizarre behavioral shifts, here are 50 peculiar side effects that remind us: while medicine helps, it can also unleash chaos we never saw coming.

  5. EXCERPT: “If you’re an immigrant who came to the United States as an adult, but you leave America for an indefinite absence to attend to a family emergency in your country of origin, in what sense are you really an American? Is America actually your home, or is home your country of origin?

Let’s say you also happen to be a representative in your adopted state’s legislature. Are you really able to serve your constituents and your district by going overseas indefinitely? If family obligations require that of you, then what business do you really have representing the people who live in your district?

These are important questions that get at the heart of our ongoing national debate over immigration, assimilation, and what it really means to be an American. And as it happens, they aren’t hypothetical questions. A Texas Democrat, state Rep. Salman Bhojani, issued a statement on Sunday that he had left the country “for the foreseeable future” because of a family medical emergency overseas.

We don’t know the nature of Bhojani’s family medical emergency, and I wish him and his family well as far as that goes. But the Pakistani-born lawmaker’s sudden and indefinite departure suggests that he has not really made the United States his home and calls into question whether someone in his position should be serving in the state legislature.

Simply put, if you have to drop everything and go back to your country of origin to attend to a family emergency “for the foreseeable future,” then maybe your home is really over there, where you came from and where your family still is — along with family obligations. What’s more, it suggests that you view America not as a nation and a people you have joined forever — that your identity is not unreservedly American, but something else.

I’m qualifying what I say here because I don’t know Bhojani’s circumstances. But we do know that he came to the United States as a 19-year-old, having emigrated to Canada with his family when he was 10 years old from Pakistan. We know he is a Muslim, and he has made much of his Muslim identity and status as a minority since joining the Texas House in 2023. He has that in common with other foreign-born Muslim politicians on the left, like Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota and New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani. And we know that he has left the country, presumably to go back to Pakistan and attend to family matters.

Under different circumstances, Bhojani might have been able to leave the country without issuing a statement at all. But his overseas departure comes at an interesting time. Democratic members of the Texas House of Representatives left the state on Sunday in a political stunt meant to prevent Republicans from adopting a redrawn congressional map. They accused Texas Gov. Greg Abbott and the Texas GOP of attempting to gerrymander the state and then ironically decamped to Illinois, the most gerrymandered state in the country, to deny the Texas House a quorum…..”

  6. “Poll: Majority Of Voters Believe Obama’s Deep State ‘Committed Crimes’ In Russiagate — More than two-thirds of likely voters surveyed in the Rasmussen Report survey said there must be consequences for crimes committed in the scandal.”

The Federalist, By: M.D. Kittle, August 05, 2025

President Barack Obama announces his nomination of James Clapper as Director of National Intelligence in 2010.

ENTIRE ARTICLE: “In the wake of bombshell declassified documents showing the Obama White House and deep state players manufacturing the intelligence report that jump-started the Russia collusion hoax, a new poll finds a majority of Americans believe President Barack Obama’s national security team “committed crimes.”

More than two-thirds (69%) of likely voters in a Rasmussen Report telephone and online survey said there must be consequences for crimes committed in the Russiagate scandal. The poll of 1,172 likely voters asked respondents, “Do you agree or disagree with this statement about the manipulation of intelligence in the Obama administration: ‘Accountability has to take place. … It is critical for the survival of our country that people who perpetrate such crimes are held accountable?’”

And 54 percent believe it’s likely that members of former President Barack Obama’s national security team “committed crimes” when they “manipulated and manufactured intelligence to promote a false narrative about Russia and President Donald Trump.” That number includes 37 percent who said it is very likely crimes were committed. The poll found 41 percent who don’t think it’s likely crimes were committed by Obama administration officials, including 28 percent who say it’s “not at all likely.”‘Fake Narrative’

The poll was released following revelations about the machinery behind the Russia collusion hoax — the debunked deep state and Democratic Party-driven narrative that the Trump campaign colluded with the Kremlin in the political outsider’s 2016 victory over bitter, failed Democrat candidate Hillary Clinton. Reams of classified documents unsealed and released by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard has shone light on deep state leaders directed by then-President Barack Obama ignoring warnings from career intelligence community professionals. The records show then-CIA Director John Brennan, DNI James Clapper, then-FBI Director James Comey and their minions instead using or manufacturing egregiously bad “evidence” in assembling the bastardized Intelligence Community Assessment that set in motion the FBI’s politically-driven “Crossfire Hurricane” investigation.

Last week, Sen. Chuck Grassley, chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, released the The Durham Annex, the once-secret appendix to Special Counsel John Durham’s report on the Russia collusion hoax. The annex shows “the FBI had intelligence that [Hillary] Clinton and her presidential campaign advisors worked to generate the fake narrative that then-presidential candidate Donald Trump was colluding with Russia, in an attempt to ‘distract people from her own missing emails,’” Grassley wrote Monday in a press release.

“Once again, the FBI failed to fully investigate this evidence and ultimately used the discredited Steele Dossier to investigate Trump,” the Iowa Republican said, referring to the bogus opposition research paid for by the Clinton campaign and used by investigators to launch their infamous investigation.

Combined, the records point to a plot by the Democrat-controlled White House and deep state henchmen to interfere in the 2016 election and undercut the duly elected Republican president and his first administration. Won’t Get ‘Duped Again’

On Monday, Attorney General Pam Bondi directed a federal prosecutor to “take evidence to a grand jury relating to an alleged conspiracy to tie then-2016 candidate Donald Trump to the country of Russia,” Fox News reported. It’s all very problematic for Obama and crew, and for the Trump-hating accomplice media that eagerly pushed out the lies they were being spoon-fed.

“Even more disturbing for Democrats is that it’s not just Republicans who are concerned. The poll shows 56% of Democrats are following the investigation, 32% believe serious crimes were committed and 59% agree the perpetrators must be ‘held accountable,’” wrote New York Post columnist Miranda Devine in a piece on the Rasmussen poll published over the weekend. “The respective Republican comparison is 75%, 83% and 86%.”

A report by Tim Graham, Executive Editor of the Media Research Center’s NewsBusters, found that the broadcast news networks devoted more than 2,284 minutes to Russiagate coverage during Trump’s presidency, but ignored or downplayed recent disclosures from Gabbard showing the Obama administration may have framed Trump.

Devine said the Rasmussen survey demonstrates the impotence of “Democrat-allied media, like the New York Times, Washington Post, ABC, NBC and CBS, which showered themselves with praise and Pulitzer Prizes for their since-debunked stories about Russiagate and are hoping their audience is willing to be duped again.”

“But like the boy who cried wolf, no one is listening anymore,” Devine wrote.”

  7. TBH, I’m not sure how much of this kind of stuff I actually believe…..I don’t trust the people making these claims since there really is no way to prove it!

“It was named the Chicxulub Impactor, which struck the Yucatán Peninsula approximately 66 million years ago. The impact caused a cascade of devastating events, including:

Massive tsunamis: Generated by the impact in the ocean, these waves would have caused widespread destruction along coastlines.

Global wildfires: The immense heat and debris ejected from the impact site would have ignited fires across vast areas, leading to significant atmospheric changes.

Impact winter: Dust and aerosols injected into the atmosphere blocked sunlight, causing a drastic drop in global temperatures and disrupting photosynthesis, leading to ecosystem collapse.

Acid rain: Sulfur released from vaporized rock created sulfuric acid in the atmosphere, leading to acid rain that further damaged ecosystems.”

    From Captain Keshel:

HUGE WIN IN FULTON COUNTY, GEORGIA FOR ELECTIONS AND ACCOUNTABILITY!

The Fulton County Superior Court has “GRANTED” a Writ of Mandamus against the Fulton County Board of Commissioners!
The Court ruled the Board of Commissioners MUST follow the law and appoint the two Republican nominees — Jason Frazier and Julie Adams — to the Fulton County Board of Elections.
The judge made it crystal clear: “Shall” means mandatory! The Board cannot play politics or veto legally qualified nominees.
This decision upholds the rule of law, protects fair representation, and raises the bar for every official to do their job and follow the law.

This is not just a win for the Fulton County GOP — it’s a win for every voter who demands accountability. When the law is followed, our elections and our democracy are stronger.

Congratulations to everyone who fought for this victory! Today, Fulton County took a huge step toward transparency and integrity.

  10. Sliding on down….I cannot express how happy I am right now! To finally be able to get out and take care of my dream property is just indescribable!!! And to do it without pain for almost 2 hours?!?!?! It seems like a miracle! Yes, my legs are VERY weak but I only felt the tiniest bit of pain in my feet. Even after all that work and effort, my right leg is still not as swollen as it has been for so long.

I did the weed eating on the east side of the house in back, including around the peony bushes, the cantelope bed, which I also weeded (a BUNCH of tiny lopes on the vines), the north fence line and part of the ne fence line – it is soooo tall and thick, it is going to take multiple days of weed eating to get it back to the way it should be. I also pulled almost half of the TX stickers in my driveway and pruned some volunteer saplings that were coming up in my Weigela bushes. Sadly, I found a dead young red-headed woodpecker on the ground at the bottom of the power pole. They like to sit on the power poles.

After I get caught up, I will be following Rodney’s prescription and lying on the floor with my legs up on the loveseat. I only wish I had listened to him earlier!!!

  11. EXCERPT: “Federal Bureau of Investigation Director Kash Patel has reportedly discovered a significant cache of FBI documents related to the investigation of the Russia collusion hoax. The records were found in multiple “burn bags” in a previously undisclosed secret room at FBI headquarters.

Among the burn bag documents was the classified annex to former Special Counsel John Durham’s final report. This report allegedly contains crucial intelligence that could potentially lead to the convictions of many of the key conspirators in what has become known as Russiagate.

But this won’t happen unless FBI officials fully understand federal records management laws and regulations, and how they apply to these newfound agency documents.Records that should Never Legally be Destroyed

In 2014, the Obama administration amended the Federal Records Act (FRA) to change the definition of a federal record to “all recorded information.” Overnight, this little-noticed change meant that every piece of recorded information created or received by the FBI must be managed throughout its lifecycle in an immutable format and preserved in a 36 CFR § 1236.20-compliant records repository as required by the FRA.

The government divides federal records into two categories, temporary and permanent. Temporary records make up the vast majority of agency records. By the National Archives and Records Administration’s (NARA’s) own estimates, more than 97 percent of all recorded agency information is temporary. This means that this information would never leave the agency, would be assigned a NARA-approved retention period, and at the end of that period — and only at the end of that period — the record would be forensically destroyed in compliance with federal law.

But given the historical significance of the Russiagate investigation, any federal record (i.e., recorded information) associated with the investigation into the Russia collusion hoax would be included in the less than 3 percent of FBI records that are considered permanent.

Permanent records are maintained at the agency for a NARA-approved retention period and then transferred to the National Archives to be preserved for as long as the Republic exists. Unlike temporary federal records, permanent records can never be legally destroyed.

Finally, according to NARA’s own rules, an analog printout of a digital federal record is not a valid representation of the record. This is true for many valid reasons, not the least of which are the paper record’s lack of associated metadata and the two-dimensionality of the paper record versus the three-dimensionality of the electronic record. Were Records Preserved Properly?

All of this brings up crucial questions about the Russiagate documents found in the secret room in the FBI’s headquarters. The first and most important question FBI leadership must ask is: Did the FBI preserve the original electronic versions of all of the burn bag documents in a 36 CFR § 1236.20-compliant records repository as required by the Federal Records Act?….”

  12. “Nuking The Redskins’ Name Did Nothing To Help American Indians, And Nobody’s Surprised — President Trump said the Commanders would be ‘much more valuable’ if they restored their old name. He couldn’t be more accurate.”

The Federalist, By: Casey Chalk, August 05, 2025

“Rumor’s out that the owners of the Washington Commanders are feeling the heat to reverse the 2020 decision by former owner Daniel Snyder to drop the team’s beloved Redskins name.

The reason? President Donald Trump’s recent threats regarding the team’s $3.7 billion plan to return the team’s stadium to the District of Columbia from its decades-long sojourn in Maryland. “I may put a restriction on them that if they don’t change the name back to the original ‘Washington Redskins,’ and get rid of the ridiculous moniker, ‘Washington Commanders,’” Trump posted, “I won’t make a deal for them to build a Stadium in Washington.”

Certainly, this lifelong Redskins fan wouldn’t mind Trump fighting on behalf of the fanbase of a storied franchise who still feels betrayed by a decision that had more to do with woke mob outrage in the aftermath of George Floyd’s death than with the purported social justice reasons given for why the team needed to alter its name and mascot.

“Redskins is racist,” asserted pundits across left-wing corporate media, a claim that finally gained traction when American corporations kowtowed to every woke activist in 2020 by claiming they would take whatever steps would appease the mob and its accusatory chants of “systemic racism.” Yet five years on, one might ask, what has the name change actually accomplished?

American Indians Are No Better Off Now

For decades prior to the 2020 decision to abandon the Redskins’ name, corporate media parroted claims from the academy that mascots referring to American Indians had detrimental effects on indigenous people. The American Psychological Association, an institution regularly cited by The Washington Post, claimed that the Redskins harmed the mental health of young American Indians and fostered a hostile learning environment for them. “The discontinued use of American Indian mascots is a gesture to show that this kind of racism toward and the disrespect of, all people in our country and in the larger global context, will not be tolerated,” claimed a Ph.D. at the American Psychological Association.

Well, has removing the Redskins name had any demonstrable effect on outcomes for American Indians? A 2023 review of the literature published in an academic psychological journal certainly made no mention of it, though it noted, “American Indians and Alaska Natives suffer from disproportionately high rates of chronic mental and physical health conditions.” Mental health organizations continue to observe that when compared to the total United States population, “nearly twice as many Native/Indigenous people in America live in poverty.” A 2024 study noted the continued problem of comparatively high levels of substance abuse and suicide among American Indian populations. As far as I can tell, there is absolutely no research indicating a shift in mental health, substance abuse, or suicide rates among indigenous people.

Nor, frankly, will there ever be such research. For who in their right mind could possibly believe that a demographic that has the highest poverty rates, whose leading cause of death for young males is suicide, and whose women are more than twice as likely to be raped as the national average would have their many problems assuaged by simply changing a sports team’s name? The plight of American Indian communities in this country is very real and very tragic. To think that rebranding Washington’s football team the “Commanders” would affect any of this is, in its superficiality, deeply insulting to the plight of American Indians across our nation.

Removing American Indians Further to the Periphery

Let’s be frank. The terrible ongoing suffering of American Indians in this country is, for many Americans, an afterthought. American Indians comprise about 1 percent of this country’s population. A fraction of them live on reservations. Most Americans rarely encounter American Indians in their daily lives, at least in the sense of individuals who have a significant percentage of indigenous ancestry and have a substantive connection to that heritage.

Because of this, abandoning the “Washington Redskins” or “Cleveland Indians” actually has the opposite effect of what woke activists demand. Out of sight, out of mind. Before the name changes, owners of professional sports teams had an opportunity to actually bring more regular public attention to American Indian communities and their needs. Instead, they opted for performative gestures — not surprising, given that wokeism is little more than performative activism defined by bumper stickers, lawn signs, and social media posts.

Restore the Name, Elevate Public Awareness of American Indians

In his recent comments, President Trump said the Commanders would be “much more valuable” if they restored their old name. He couldn’t be more accurate. And though I presume our commander-in-chief was speaking about the franchise’s fiscal fortunes, it’s also true when it comes to the welfare of indigenous people. For what better way to increase public awareness of American Indians than to make them a central component of the identity of a professional sports team like the Washington Redskins or Cleveland Indians?

I recently attended the Washington Commanders’ summer training camp. Practically everyone was decked out in Washington football apparel, and about half of them had some manner of Redskins gear: hats, T-shirts, tote bags, socks, shoes, you name it. It’s obvious, despite ridiculously politicized (and probably inaccurate) claims by The Washington Post, that fans still adore and prefer the old name and mascot. Only a fool would fail to realize that with such a fanbase, this is a golden opportunity for American Indians.

Imagine advertising a QR code at games, giving attendees a chance to donate to a charitable organization that actually helps meet the needs of American Indians. Imagine welcoming American Indian kids from across the nation to be celebrated on the field for academic or sports achievements. I have little doubt thousands of fans would stand and cheer and pull out their wallets to express their well-wishes and solidarity for American Indians across our country.

The owners of the Washington Commanders have a real opportunity here to alleviate the suffering of American Indians across our nation. I hope and pray they take it. Perhaps because of President Trump, they’ll have to.”

  13. “Clintons Subpoenaed Pertaining to Epstein!”

    Clandestine, Aug 05, 2025

“Things just got very interesting. In relation to Jefferey Epstein, House Republicans have subpoenaed Bill and Hillary Clinton, along with former heads of the DOJ/FBI.

The Democrats said they wanted answers about Epstein, now they will get their chance. Now Clinton, Comey, Mueller, Garland, Lynch, etc., can reveal all the damaging evidence on Trump, in front of the entire world.

The only problem is, they don’t have any damaging evidence on Trump, and they know it. They know they are the ones who covered up Epstein this whole time, and now they are under the microscope.

Now the newest MSM smear campaign is about to come to a grinding halt. The Dems and the MSM are all the sudden about to lose interest in Epstein.

They didn’t actually want the truth to come out, they just wanted to smear Trump and divide his base. Now they find themselves in a compromising position.

It’s also worth noting that many of these people are also heavily implicated in the ongoing Russiagate grand conspiracy case.

    Brilliant move by House GOP.”

A Reuters report on Monday stated that the Trump administration had linked $1.9 billion in disaster aid to the Israel requirement, leading to widespread outcry. DHS on Monday stated that the Federal Emergency Management Agency did not include any requirements related to Israel in its notices of funding opportunities (NOFO).

“There is NO FEMA requirement tied to Israel in any current NOFO. No states have lost funding, and no new conditions have been imposed,” DHS posted on X. “FEMA grants remain governed by existing law and policy and not political litmus tests. DHS will enforce all anti-discrimination laws and policies, including as it relates to the BDS movement, which is expressly grounded in antisemitism. Those who engage in racial discrimination should not receive a single dollar of federal funding.”

FEMA maintains its own set of terms and conditions for Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) recipients. These apply, however, in addition to the DHS’s own terms and conditions as FEMA is a part of DHS. The DHS statement is accurate in that FEMA’s terms and conditions did not include an Israel provision, though the overarching DHS terms did, meaning that the Israel provision would have theoretically applied to FEMA grants.

At issue was a part of the DHS terms and conditions that included an Israel boycott provision under its anti-discrimination clause. The statement read as follows:

“Discriminatory prohibited boycott means refusing to deal, cutting commercial relations, or otherwise limiting commercial relations specifically with Israeli companies or with companies doing business in or with Israel or authorized by, licensed by, or organized under the laws of Israel to do business.”

The original hyperlink to that document remains live as of press time and may be accessed here. You may also download the PDF directly below.

The current version of the fiscal 2025 standards and conditions does not feature any language referencing Israel and went live Monday evening, following a day of public outcry…..”

  15. “Zoo asks people to donate small pets to help keep the animals fed”

Not The Bee, Harris Rigby, Aug 4, 2025

Image for article: Zoo asks people to donate small pets to help keep the animals fed

ENTIRE ARTICLE: “Something is rotten in Denmark, but it’s not the food at this zoo. They only want the freshest of food for their animals, and that’s why they are asking for patrons to bring in their slightly used pets.

    From the AP:

The Aalborg zoo said it is trying to mimic the natural food chain of the animals housed there ‘for the sake of both animal welfare and professional integrity’ and offers assurances the pets will be ‘gently euthanized’ by trained staff.

The zoo in northern Denmark explained in a Facebook post that ‘if you have a healthy animal that needs to be given away for various reasons, feel free to donate it to us.’

Yes, mom and dad, if you have a little Guinea Pig that needs to make an unscheduled journey to Guinea Pig heaven …

… you can have that animal go out in the most epic fashion imaginable. Being eaten by a lion.

    Or a tiger, or a bear …

The zoo points to guinea pigs, rabbits and chickens as possible donations. After being euthanized, the animals will be used as fodder, the zoo said.

‘That way, nothing goes to waste — and we ensure natural behavior, nutrition and well-being of our predators,’ the zoo said.

Ahh, yes, there’s nothing more natural for a jungle predator than to have a pre-euthanized baby hamster that belonged to a little kid served to him through a little chute.

Truly, this zoo is keeping their animals in tip-top hunting shape!

The online call for pet donations is accompanied by a picture of a wildcat baring its teeth with its mouth wide open and a link to the zoo’s website, noting the facility also is interested in receiving horses.

Oh no … not the horses! Not the stallion!”

Image for article: New York Times Accidentally Makes Argument For Strong Border Laws

ENTIRE ARTICLE: “This op-ed argues that when you allow everyone into a space, that space ceases to be functional and loses the elements that made it special.

The article meanders: It’s essentially a wealthy millennial opining on the fact that credit-card companies have allowed more and more people access to their “exclusive” lounges.

But let’s look at a few key quotes:

There have never been more airport lounges. Yet there also have never seemed to be more lounges that are not worth the hassle. Many are forlorn. Many others are overcrowded; sometimes the lines for the lounges are the longest in the airport. Yet we all still fight to get in.

Once reserved mostly for older, frequent business travelers, lounges are increasingly being invaded by people like me …

Airports and airplanes have long been places where people are regularly and openly sorted into classes, and there is something innately human about striving (or paying) to get to the top — or at least a half-step higher than where you started.

So to sum up: There used to be something special about the exclusivity of an airport lounge.

Each lounge had its own identity and it took effort to gain access to that lounge. Someone had to commit to be a patron of a particular company to earn the point/miles necessary to be a citizen of the lounge.

But now these companies have given access to the masses, which have made the lounges just another generic section of the airport. No one feels like they belong anywhere or to anything and everything is crowded all the time. When everyone has access, no one does.

    Huh.

Why do you ladies and gentlemen think the NYT changed the headline on this story?? 🤔

          1. Yep – it is:

Nuclear Power Water Use: Yes, nuclear power plants require water for several critical functions. Water is essential for cooling the reactor core to prevent overheating and for driving the steam turbines that generate electricity.

The primary function of water is to absorb heat from the nuclear reactions and transfer it to the steam generators, where it is used to produce steam. This steam then turns the turbines to generate electricity, after which it is condensed back into water and recycled in a closed loop system.”

  17. “The great Starlink re-entry event and the linked aluminum oxide vapor…
SpaceX just conducted a giant uncontrolled experiment in atmospheric chemistry.

Earlier this year, analysts noticed something strange: Starlink satellites were falling out of the sky–a lot of them. Four to five per day were re-entering Earth’s atmosphere and vaporizing in plain sight. This went on for months. Between December 2024 and July 2025, more than 525 Starlinks deorbited as shown in the diagram below:

What’s going on? In short: routine housecleaning. These were mostly first-generation (Gen1) satellites, deliberately retired to make room for newer models. SpaceX is currently launching up to 50 new Starlinks per week, maintaining a fleet of 8,000 satellites. Weeding out the old ones is just business as usual.

What’s not usual is the atmospheric fallout. The fiery re-entry of even one Gen1 Starlink satellite produces about 30 kilograms of aluminum oxide vapor, a compound that erodes the ozone layer. A new study finds these oxides have increased 8-fold between 2016 and 2022, and the Great Re-entry Event increases this pollution even more.

To put this into perspective: Before the first Starlink launches began in 2019, only about 40 to 50 satellites re-entered per year. SpaceX just brought down ten years’ worth in only six months, adding an estimated 15,000 kilograms of aluminum oxide to the upper atmosphere.

Even before the current surge, scientists were sounding the alarm. In February 2023, NASA flew a WB-57 aircraft over Alaska at 60,000 feet to collect stratospheric aerosols. A study published later that year found 10% of sampled particles contained aluminum and other metals from the “burn-up” of satellites.

With multiple companies racing to deploy megaconstellations, projections suggest more than 60,000 satellites could be in orbit by 2040. That means reentry debris could soon rival the natural influx of meteoroids, but with very different chemistry. Meteors are mostly rock. Satellites are mostly metal.

A simulation by NOAA scientists suggests that aluminum-rich space dust could heat the stratosphere and mesosphere by up to 1.5°C, and slow the southern polar vortex, potentially altering global weather patterns.

What happens next? We’re about to find out.”

“UK Secret Services Plotting Maritime Ecological Disaster” — The plan involves organizing a major act of sabotage the losses of which would allow the transportation of Russian oil to be declared a threat to all international shipping”

    Super Spreader, Aug 05, 2025

    🚨🚨 FALSE FLAG IMMINENT 🚨🚨

→ Remember a few days ago when A Russian Raid (inside UKRAINE) Captured British OFFICERS With Maps of Strategic Objects in the Territory of Russia, Russian Air Defense Plans, Secret Instructions on Cooperation With Ukrainian Drone Operators and Discs With Encrypted Data and Records of Conversations With the British General – British military officers INSIDE Ukraine were caught red handed with the materials specifically relevant to PLANNING FALSE FLAG ATTACKS. That’s a BIG deal.

Why did Trump give Russia 10 days to negotiate? Gee, wonder if that is related?

Pay VERY close attention for the next few weeks. Strange things are afoot at the Circle K. My spidey sense is tingling. Clandestine false flag operations are definitely intensifying. The seeds are planted. The parts are moving. The necessary false dishonest “news” reports are already being distributed through back channels. What you will see in the MSM will not even be close to true. It is designed to make you afraid and irrational so you can be controlled and convinced to blindly walk down the wrong path.

Will YOU fall for the next “15 Days to Slow The Spread” style PsyOp again? Or will this time be different?

    MOSCOW, August 4. /TASS/.

The UK’s secret services are planning to enlist NATO allies in a large-scale operation targeting the “shadow fleet,” which could lead to an environmental disaster in international waters, the press bureau of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) said in a statement obtained by TASS.

“British secret services are planning ecological disaster in international waters. The press bureau of the Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation informs that, according to the information coming to the SVR, the British secret services are planning to involve NATO allies in a massive roundup for the ‘shadow fleet’,” the statement said.

According to London’s plan, the impetus for such a campaign should be provided by “a resonant incident involving one or more tankers.”

“The plan involves organizing a major act of sabotage the losses of which would allow the transportation of Russian oil to be declared a threat to all international shipping. This would untie Western countries’ hands in choosing methods of counteraction,” the document said.

    Two scenarios and actors

According to the SVR, the British are working on “two potential casus belli.” “The first scenario implicates setting up an ‘unwanted’ tanker accident in one of bottlenecks of sea communications (for example, in straits). As it is believed in London, oil spills and fairway blocking would provide NATO countries with ‘sufficient’ grounds for establishing a precedent of ‘extraordinary’ vessel inspection under the guise of maritime safety and environmental regulations compliance,” the statement noted.

“The second one involves setting fire to a tanker at loading in a port of a state friendly to Russia. It is expected that the fire would cause significant damage to the port infrastructure and spread to other vessels, which would require an international investigation,” the SVR emphasized.

“London is going to entrust Ukrainian security forces with the implementation of both terrorist attacks. Their expectedly dirty work and inability to ‘cover up’ their tracks are considered by the British as a guarantee of impunity for themselves. The international investigation would hold either Russia or at worst Ukraine responsible for the accident, similar to the situation with the Nord Stream gas pipeline explosion,” the press bureau stressed.

    Eying sanctions

The SVR pointed out that the timing of the UK attack is intended to be chosen so as to use the media effect from it to put pressure on the administration of US President Donald Trump.

“The aim is to force Washington, in defiance of its national interests, to impose the most severe secondary sanctions against Russian energy resources buyers, making them seen as ‘indirect culprits of the tragedy’,” the statement said.

“It seems like nostalgia for the lost dominance at sea and for authorized by the Crown pirate lawlessness have completely deprived the British Intelligence of the remnants of common sense. It’s high time for our British colleagues to understand that their increasingly bold attempts not only ‘to get back at’ their rivals, but also to cause damage to the global energy security and ecology are capable to make even their most loyal allies run out of patience,” the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service concluded.

  19. “Silos and Crevasses: NIH, FDA, CDC (and DoD) — Time to rethink the way things are”

Robert W Malone MD, MS, Aug 05, 2025

ENTIRE ARTICLE: “One of the benefits of being elderly and having held numerous roles within the US biomedical enterprise is the ability to delve into the details or broaden the perspective to see the bigger picture when necessary. I do not know many people who have the same breadth of exposure that I do, for better or worse. And now, as the sun sets on my so called career, my bicoastal random walk through academe, non-governmental organizations, pharma, DoD, NIH, FDA, and CDC while trying to pay my bills and raise a family, I have become even more aware of how dysfunctional the whole system has become.

My learned cynicism is being further refined consequent to getting a glimpse from an inside-the-CDC point of view due to the recent ACIP appointment. One important conclusion is that the deep dysfunction of the US Government’s response to COVID is not only due to the nefarious activities of bad actors who have refined abilities to game the system, but it is also the product of evolved structural flaws that they exploited for personal and corporate gain.

This recently came to a head when questioning a CDC leader during the most recent ACIP meeting, and then speaking to a colleague about the immunologic consequences of repeated dosing (“boosting”) with any vaccine, including the gene therapy-based products (mRNA or recombinant AdV).

During the recent ACIP meeting, I asked a question about lot-to-lot variability in safety and effectiveness with the mRNA products. The “how bad is my batch” question that is near and dear to my own heart (so to speak) as my second dose elicited such significant adverse events (POTS syndrome, restless leg, atrial fibrillation, malignant hypertension) and was identified as being a “bad lot” based on VAERS report analysis.

The answer I received from a CDC official was that it was not CDC’s job to monitor lot-to-lot variability, but rather that was FDA’s job. No matter that CDC VAERS data clearly document significant lot-to-lot variability, not in our wheelhouse. As an ACIP member, I was told to seek data from the FDA.

The immunology discussion related to the perplexing, persistent issues of whether repeated antigen exposure can cause the immune system to become less (rather than more) responsive to either a specific antigen, pathogen, or even in general. The immunobabble terminology related to these issues include “original antigenic sin,” “immune imprinting,” “immunoglobulin class switching,” “high zone tolerance,” and Allergen immunotherapy, also known as “desensitization” or “hypo-sensitization.”

Bottom line? In immunology, more is not necessarily better. And yet rigorous vaccine primary and “booster” dose selection, timing and repeated boosting studies are rarely if ever done, even in rodent models. Now the ACIP makes recommendations to the CDC director about such matters, so you might assume that the CDC would have the data to demonstrate that decisions about the short and long term effects of re-administration of “vaccines” are based on solid human clinical research findings, wouldn’t you.

And you would be wrong. These data just do not exist within the world of CDC data sets. Why you ask? Same answer as for the lot-to-lot variability. Not in our wheelhouse. Paraphrasing- “We do not have the capabilities to do those studies.” “This would require sophisticated immunologic analyses and we do not have either the equipment or the staff.” So who does, one might ask? WELL, that is NIH’s job.

I have DECADES of experience with the NIH and its grants, contracts, and peer-review processes. And Jill’s PhD research project specifically focused on the NIH peer review process. We know a lot about both intramural and extramural NIH funding. First thing you should know about that, aside from the chronic and persistent conflicts of interest and bias (overt and subtle) inherent in that system, is that it takes 4-5 years from initial concept to actually awarding a grant or contract via NIH. A paragon of bureaucratic inefficiency. So, rapid response to a novel public health threat is not consistent with the NIH system.

Aside- Which is why the “other transactional authority” contracting system was set up over at BARDA and DoD. Which was the system that lead to the famous Pfizer defense (paraphrasing) that “we did not commit fraud, we delivered the fraud that the government contracted us to deliver.’

Someone should be charged with contracting fraud on that one, but that is a different topic. I was there over a decade ago when this “OTA” system was developed, and have used it myself for major contracts that I have built and won for clients. I know what I am talking about.

But getting back to the crevasses. In the case of the immunologic consequences of repeated dosing with antigens (ergo, “boosting”), no Dr. Peter Marks, inbred mice do not predict human responses. The only thing that predicts outbred human responses is outbred human responses. Not mice, not ferrets, and not monkeys.

And immune system responses in humans that live in the rough and tumble stew of chronic parasites and pathogen exposure on the African continent do not even predict how North American humans will respond, in part due to the cytokine responses generated by the parasites and pathogens. Does NIH routinely fund evaluation of these sorts of issues for existing or new vaccines? No. That would be the job of the FDA. Does the FDA do it? No, that would be the job of the pharmaceutical companies.

Another fundamental inconvenient truth is that, if you are a pharmaceutical industry researcher, it is career suicide to do any studies during advanced development (clinical research stage) just because they seem like the right thing to do to answer an important question. You only do those studies that the FDA forces you to do. Otherwise you might get an answer that will delay or block FDA marketing authorization. And if the FDA is not on the ball or willfully looking the other way due to various pressures and biases, they do not require the studies that would address things like, say, shedding or adverse long-term effects of repeated boosting.

So, CDC says it is FDA or NIH’s problem. NIH is distracted, incredibly inefficient, and driven by fame, fortune, the Nobel Prize hunt and racking up “peer reviewed” publications that go nowhere. DoD does what it can, but its mission is fighting wars and protecting the warfighter, not civilians. And the FDA just muddles through, constantly getting pressured, gamed and spun by Pharma.

Medical caregivers have been indoctrinated to have faith in the system and have no idea of how deeply messed up things actually are. And the average person (and average politician) believes the promoted marketing and propaganda that all is “safe and effective” and that they should just shut up and do what their doctor tells them to do. And the profit rolls in like a tsunami.

This is what I see from my perch. Yes, over decades of experience, I have become deeply cynical. But I still hold out hope that things can be made better. And I hope that you do too. The Make America Healthy Again movement is like nothing I have ever experienced or even imagined. It will not be easy, and it will not be quick. Secretary Kennedy and his team do not have a magic wand, and the resistance to change (internal and external) is enormous. This will take years, and will require massive reimagining and restructuring of the entire health enterprise.

Do we have a choice? If we fail in this endeavor, then our children will continue to live shorter and less healthy lives than their parents. And this is just not acceptable.”

Image for article: Trump Takes Back Old Position At McDonald's To Boost Weak Jobs Report

FEASTERVILLE, PA — President Donald Trump returned to the McDonald’s in Pennsylvania, where he previously worked, to boost the country’s lackluster employment rate after the release of less-than-optimal July jobs numbers.

Having worked there before, Trump was able to seamlessly slip back onto the staff and work some shifts here and there in an attempt to add some much-needed juice to the nation’s employment figures.

“Here’s one more guy in the workforce, the best guy, they say,” Trump told reporters as he paused briefly between customers. “That jobs report was so bogus. Totally rigged. Things are so great. The jobs numbers are going up, one beautiful fry cook at a time.”

Trump rolled up his sleeves and put on his red polo shirt, and was seen working the fryer and the counter while talking to reporters at the franchise location north of Philadelphia.

“I can’t talk too long, I’ve got to finish these orders before the end of my shift, and then I have to take a call to broker a peace deal between Pakistan and India,” Trump said. “Those jobs numbers were ridiculous. I fired the lady who made them up. She’s gone. Nasty woman. Lots of people have jobs. Not her, but lots of people, believe me.”

At publishing time, Trump had reportedly told Secretary of State Marco Rubio that he needed to pick up four more roles in the administration to help boost employment numbers.

AUSTIN, TX — Congressional Democrats announced today that they are very much opposed to electoral gerrymandering up until the time when they will need to do it themselves, at which point they’ll support it again.

“This is not a decision we make lightly, but it is one we make with absolute moral clarity,” state legislatorGene Wu told reporters. “We strongly condemn these redistricting efforts until the time comes again when fellow democrats in other states need to gerrymander their own districts, and then at that point we will strongly support it.”

Following Texas’s new redistricting efforts, Democratic leaders in the state fled the legislative session in an attempt to delay and thwart what they believe to be a gross miscarriage of political power, at least until they can get away with it themselves, at which point they said they’ll gladly support it.

“Sure, California, Illinois, and other deep blue states have been gerrymandering Republican voters out of power for decades, but this is bad because now Republicans are doing it, and we just hate it when they do stuff we’ve been doing forever,” Wu said.

“NO CAP!” shouted Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett.

At publishing time, Texas Democrats announced that they will stay out of the state for as long as it takes to prevent the redistricting votes to take effect, or until they get bored and need to come home to water their plants.
