Dirty Laundry

Today is Don Henley’s birthday (born in 1947) and this song is about getting dirt on people.  It seemed relevant today, giving the state of “journalism” in America.

“Dirty Laundry”

I make my living off the evening news
Just give me something
Something I can use
People love it when you lose
They love dirty laundry

Well, I coulda been an actor
But I wound up here
I just have to look good
I don’t have to be clear
Come and whisper in my ear
Give us dirty laundry

Kick ’em when they’re up
Kick ’em when they’re down
Kick ’em when they’re up
Kick ’em when they’re down

Kick ’em when they’re up
Kick ’em when they’re down
Kick ’em when they’re up
Kick ’em all around

We got the bubble headed
Bleached blonde
Comes on at five
She can tell you ’bout the plane crash
With a gleam in her eye
It’s interesting when people die
Give us dirty laundry

Can we film the operation
Is the head dead yet
You know the boys in the newsroom
Got a running bet
Get the widow on the set
We need dirty laundry

You don’t really need to find out
What’s going on
You don’t really want to know
Just how far it’s gone
Just leave well enough alone
Eat your dirty laundry

Kick ’em when they’re up
Kick ’em when they’re down
Kick ’em when they’re up
Kick ’em when they’re down

Kick ’em when they’re up
Kick ’em when they’re down
Kick ’em when they’re stiff
Kick ’em all around

Dirty little secrets
Dirty little lies
We got our dirty little fingers
In everybody’s pie
We love to cut you down to size
We love dirty laundry

We can do the innuendo
We can dance and sing
When it’s said and done
We haven’t told you a thing
We all know that crap is king
Give us dirty laundry

  1. Out-fucking-standing! Man, I loved that band!!!! Good morning, Pat! What a way to start the morning – dancing in my chair!!!!

SMH – when I tried to squirt the 2nd wormer dose on the back of Wheezer’s neck, it came out in a rush and I think half of it missed him entirely….SMH. But that’s it – I’m done – he’ll either make it or he won’t – I’m not spending any more $$$ on him. This last one cost $30!

IDK if it’s the oxygen or not but I got up twice last night to pee – that’s some progress, I guess…..

NEW: A dual U.S. and China citizen, Chenguang Gong, 59, pleaded guilty to stealing over 3,600 trade secret files from a Southern California tech company. He transferred sensitive blueprints for advanced infrared sensors used in missile detection and defense systems, including those on U.S. fighter jets and space-based platforms, potentially compromising critical national security technology.

The surprising part is that Chenguang Gong is free on a $1.75 million bond after stealing trade secret technology designed to detect nuclear missile launches. He faces a potential maximum sentence of 10 years, though a shorter sentence is possible.

  4. Just The News: “On the one-year anniversary of former president Joe Biden exiting — some say pushed out — of the 2024 race, President Donald Trump has set himself apart as the most media-engaged president in recent memory, consistently making himself available to journalists in ways unmatched by many of his predecessors, particularly Biden.

George E. Condon of National Journal tracked 1,009 questions asked of and answered by Trump one month into his second term, compared to 141 by Biden and 161 by former president Barack Obama. In Trump’s first three days, he eclipsed Biden’s availability at 164 questions answered.

During both his first term and thus far in his second, Trump has held frequent and often spontaneous press conferences, answered questions at campaign stops, and used platforms like X and his Truth Social platform to speak directly to the public. Unlike past presidents who leaned on prepared remarks or limited press interactions, Trump’s style is extended and unscripted exchanges with reporters, often stretching over an hour.

From policy details to personal controversies

One-sixteenth of the way into his presidency, as of April 20, Trump had held five joint press conferences. That number may seem low, especially coupled with the fact that he had given zero solo press conferences up to that date. However, nearly every day in the Trump White House provides an opportunity for the press to engage with the president.

His near-daily interactions with the media, whether at Mar-a-Lago, the White House or on the road, have offered journalists unprecedented access, with Trump addressing topics from policy details to personal controversies, according to campaign staff and political observers.

Trump’s media strategy has reshaped what it means for a president to be accessible, blending traditional press engagements with his outspoken online presence. He has sat for interviews with a broad spectrum of outlets, including this one, from major networks like NBC and CBS to conservative channels like Real America’s Voice, often participating in lengthy discussions that differ from the tightly managed interviews of prior administrations.

Pre-digested questions fed to pro-Biden press

Records from the American Presidency Project show that Trump gave more than 600 interviews during his first term, dwarfing the roughly 300 interviews President Barack Obama conducted over his two terms.

Trump has taken questions from both supportive and critical reporters, usually without pre-arranged topics, and has created a direct line to his unfiltered perspective, a sharp contrast to the controlled media interactions of presidents like George W. Bush or Joe Biden.

To the anger of legacy media, Trump has also opened the James S. Brady Press Briefing Room at the White House to “New Media,” which was once mocked by CNN executives and CBS franchise star Dan Rather as a “guy sitting in his living room in his pajamas.”

Biden was famously coached for his press conferences. Voice of America reported that he was given notes with photos of friendly reporters and the questions they would ask. Although the White House denied that, close-up images of the notecard were captured by multiple news photographers in the Rose Garden. ABC News also reported that more than one radio journalist was given a list of questions to ask Biden by his staff.

While some critics argue that Trump’s media narrative, in which he often refers to the media as “fake news” and “gutless losers,” can be divisive or focus more on showmanship than policy depth, Trump’s base views his openness as a rejection of political gatekeeping. Like Ronald Reagan before him, Trump may have forever reshaped presidential communication. Every president henceforth has a new communication bar to hit, and it won’t be an easy pace.”

  6. EXCERPT: “A New Jersey widower who cannot afford private school is fighting to stop his public school district from treating his gender-confused daughter as a boy against his express wishes, even in its “home education program,” and calling child protective services for his resistance.

Parental rights groups, a prominent transgender child psychologist, a mother whose gender-confused daughter killed herself and more than 20 state attorneys general are among more than a dozen friend-of-the-court briefs supporting widower Christin Heaps against the Delaware Valley Regional High School Board of Education.

While the plumber’s lawsuit at the 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals only affects the mid-Atlantic states for now, Massachusetts parents who already lost in the 1st Circuit are petitioning the Supreme Court to strike down secret social transitions nationwide.

Ludlow Public Schools fired teacher Bonnie Manchester for telling Stephen Foote and Marissa Silvestri the district transitioned their self-described “genderqueer” 11-year-old behind their backs. A federal judge dismissed Manchester’s wrongful-termination lawsuit in April, citing the 1st Circuit’s ruling upholding the secret transition policy in the parents’ lawsuit.

The 1st Circuit contradicted a 25-year-old 3rd Circuit precedent that school districts’ authority over students “does not mean ‘displace parents,’” fleshed out five years later in an opinion joined by future Justice Samuel Alito on “actions that strike at the heart of parental decision-making authority on matters of the greatest importance,” the petition says.

“The circuits are divided 4–1 over whether nonreligious parents’ rights are limited to the initial enrollment decision,” which begs for SCOTUS intervention, the petition says. “Courts disagree over how broadly to define school authority over curriculum and administrative decisions.”

Threatened to block her final exams, repeat freshman year

Heaps’ case against the New Jersey school district, which otherwise resembles litigation nationwide against secret social transitions of gender-confused students, is notable for its family dynamics, socioeconomic status, school overriding the girl’s therapist and its demand that Heaps let teachers socially transition her even at home.

“Jane Doe” lost her mother at age four and has been diagnosed with autism, ADHD, depression and anxiety, Heaps’ opening brief says. The girl had been “seeing a therapist for around a year and a half,” who was taking “a cautious approach to Jane’s gender confusion given her underlying trauma and psychiatric comorbidities,” when she entered high school.

Heaps put the girl in the district’s home-instruction program when another parent “incidentally referred to his daughter by a masculine name,” revealing months of secret transitioning, but the district did not stop using male pronouns and name for her in virtual lessons.

After the widower sued to stop the district, it threatened to deem Jane “truant” unless she completed assignments “on school premises after school on a 1:1 basis with a staff member,” sent child services to Heaps’ home to grill him and threatened to block his child from final exams and make her “repeat her freshman year.”

U.S. District Judge Georgette Castner, nominated by President Biden, denied a preliminary injunction because Heaps didn’t show his daughter is “suffering or diagnosed with a mental health condition related to gender identity” – by then she had abandoned a boy’s identity – or that the school “actively encouraged” her to socially transition.

The brief repeatedly invokes the Supreme Court’s new Mahmoud ruling against a Maryland school district for not notifying parents of young children, or recognize opt-outs, before it teaches LGBTQ-themed books. Like those plaintiffs, Heaps cannot afford an “adequate substitute” for a public school and risks fines or imprisonment if he doesn’t send the girl there.

    ‘Impenetrable labyrinth’ of legal precedents

The Liberty Justice Center’s friend-of-the-court brief with child psychologist Erica Anderson, who is transgender and has transitioned many children into opposite-sex identities, emphasizes the debate among mental health practitioners over “how “quickly and under what conditions” confused children should transition…..”

  7. Just The News: “New York Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s campaign office in the Bronx was reportedly vandalized with red paint and a sign just after midnight on Monday morning, accusing the lawmaker of funding “genocide in Gaza.”

The message was displayed on a building that hosts her campaign office on Herschell Street in Westchester Square, New York. The office was closed at the time, and the congresswoman was in Plattsburgh, New York, on Sunday night, per ABC New York.

“We see a lot of this stuff, we’re going to review our cameras and that of the building, too,” Oliver Hidalgo, Ocasio-Cortez’s campaign manager, told the outlet. “We’ve been in touch with the landlord and folks and we’ve had a lot of folks who have been reaching out, volunteers who want to help and clean up, so they’ll be doing that. I just got here, so I don’t know if there’s anything else beyond this, but the number one priority is making sure people are okay.”

The incident occurred around 12:40 a.m. Eastern, and appeared to impact a metal security gate, the doorway and the sidewalk in front of the building, CBS News reported.

No arrests have been made for the vandalism so far, and the congresswoman has not publicly commented on the incident. It comes the same day she is expected to unveil a new accessibility ramp at a post office in Queens, New York.”

  8. EXCERPT: “The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reported 1,309 confirmed cases of measles in the U.S. as of July 15 — the highest number of cases in three decades. The fearmongering corporate media have rushed to blame decreasing vaccine rates and “unvaccinated” populations. But largely missing from or downplayed in these outlets’ coverage are important data points and questions about what may be exacerbating the outbreaks.

    Image CreditScreenshot / CDC

The Associated Press reported concerns that the outbreak has been worsened by post-Covid “vaccine hesitancy” and lackluster funding for vaccination programs. CBS acted shocked that HHS Secretary Robert Kennedy Jr. — who, the outlet claimed, “has a history of making false and misleading claims about vaccines” — would recommend the measles vaccine. CNN likewise blamed “falling vaccination rates” and “increased travel.” An expert warned NPR that the U.S. may be close to losing its elimination status and blamed this on “vaccine hesitancy.”

The latest available CDC data shows a measles vaccine rate of about 92.7 percent for kindergartners in the 2023-2024 school year. This is down 2.5 percent from the 2019-2020 vaccination rate, a modest drop considering the fallout from the CDC pushing and the federal government seeking to mandate the experimental Covid vaccine in 2021. For comparison, the vaccination rate was between 61 and 66 percent for children between 1 and 4 years old from 1971 to 1985.

Furthermore, there are currently only 35 more measles cases than the total number recorded in 2019, according to the CDC. This is still about 800 fewer cases than recorded for the year of 1992 — the last time the number exceeded 1,300. It is also far lower than the 9,600 cases in 1991. Yet the corporate media continues to drive a narrative of fear based on the point that we are seeing “the most measles cases in more than 30 years.”

The largest outbreak in the U.S. is in Gaines County in Texas. The Gaines County outbreak began in the area’s Mennonite population. Cases in this “more mobile” group that often travels to other Mennonite communities reportedly led to other outbreaks in Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico.

The U.S. technically eliminated measles in 2000. According to the CDC, elimination means “there is no measles spreading within the country and new cases are only found when someone contracts measles abroad and returns to the country.” The CDC also warns that “measles can easily cross borders.”

It’s interesting, then, that the state with the highest number of measles cases also has the highest number of illegal border crossings, but, unsurprisingly, corporate media outlets have failed to draw that connection or hastily minimized it. Outbreaks more than five times as large as that of Gaines County currently exist in Canada and Mexico, and the total cases in Ontario, Canada, and in Chihuahua, Mexico, both far exceed total cases in the United States in 2025…..”

  9. EXCERPT: “The Trump administration officially introduced a rule to end former President Joe Biden’s paper straw mandate across the federal government, cutting waste and reversing the cultural weakness pursued by Democrats for years.

The official rule finalized by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and published July 21 will end the mandate forcing every executive agency to purchase paper straws for use in all their installations across the country, including for military bases and Veterans’ Affairs (VA) facilities, according to OMB Senior Adviser Dr. Kevin Rhodes.

The new rule would require government contractors to only offer straws that “have the strength and durability of plastic,” Rhodes, the nominee for Administrator for Federal Procurement Policy, told The Federalist. That does not necessarily mean plastic, but it does mean straws that function in an equivalent way would be required.

The Biden administration intended on “phas[ing] out” the use of plastic straws and other “single-use” plastic items by 2027.

As the executive order, signed in February by President Donald Trump, that got the ball rolling on ending the paper straw mandate, states, “An irrational campaign against plastic straws has resulted in major cities, States, and businesses banning the use or automatic inclusion of plastic straws with beverages. Plastic straws are often replaced by paper straws, which are nonfunctional, use chemicals that may carry risks to human health, are more expensive to produce than plastic straws, and often force users to use multiple straws.”

The official rule will only impact federal installations. However, the pressure campaign to implement paper straws has observably trickled down to small coffee shops and other establishments across the country. Perhaps this signal from the government will encourage restaurants, coffee shops, and the rest to stop their faux environmental justice virtue signaling and return a simple pleasure back to American life.

Most Americans understand the practical reality that paper straws are awful. It is something of a seemingly minor issue that has garnered so much public outcry to the point that it has its own dedicated executive order. And, as the fact sheet for the order indicates, the paper straw campaign was pioneered by “woke” activists who prioritized “symbolism over science.”

Similar to the grotesque Brutalist and communist-style architecture that the federal government decided to build in the nation’s capital in the middle of the 20th century, paper straws represent another form of the everyday cultural degradation intended to make Americans hate the country in which they live.

Dr. Rhodes told The Federalist that “Paper straws were mandated to a whole bunch of veterans” and “the VA was mandated to use paper straws” under Biden…..”

  10. “If WNBA Players Want To Talk Money, They ‘Owe’ Their Male Counterparts Millions”

The Federalist, By: Shawn Fleetwood, July 22, 2025

WNBA player wearing a stupid shirt.

ENTIRE ARTICLE: “It turns out that the girlbosses of the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) aren’t just bad at putting on an entertaining game. They’re also incapable of understanding basic math.

On Saturday, players participating in this year’s WNBA All-Star Game (yes, that’s apparently a thing) took to the court for pre-game warm-ups wearing black shirts that read, “Pay Us What You Owe Us.” According to left-wing ESPN, “The collective demonstration occurred two days after more than 40 players met with the league in the latest round of collective bargaining agreement negotiations. The players didn’t think the meeting produced enough progress with a late October deadline looming.”

“We wanted to do something that was united as a collective, and I thought that it’s a very powerful moment and got the point across,” Los Angeles Sparks guard Kelsey Plum told the outlet. “Sometimes, you don’t have to say anything.”

Plum is absolutely correct in saying that the players’ pity parade “got the point across.” And that point is that these ladies have no idea how fundamental economics works. Consider that in order to keep operating as a league, the WNBA relies on substantial financial support from the male-led National Basketball Association (NBA). Some estimates place NBA ownership of the women’s league at roughly 60 percent.

Subsidization of the WNBA isn’t exactly a profitable venture. In October, the New York Post reported that the female-dominated league lost $40 million in its 2024 season alone. And losses in the millions have apparently been a routine pattern since the league’s inception.

While it’s true the WNBA has experienced a rise in popularity in recent years, that increase is almost exclusively driven by Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark, who has arguably done more to elevate women’s basketball in a few years than the entire league has in its existence. Clark’s popularity has garnered her ire from her fellow (seemingly jealous) WNBA players, who have continued to enact brutal fouls against her — even after she renounced her “white privilege.”

And yet, even with Clark’s fanbase, the WNBA is still losing money. The simple truth is that viewers just aren’t as interested in watching women’s pro-basketball as much as they are the men’s. And that’s why the NBA is a more financially successful league.

If the WNBA players really want to talk finances, they can start by repaying the male-dominated league responsible for its continued existence the millions of dollars they’ve lost in the decades prior. After all, that is what they’re “owed.”

  12. Just The News: “Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche said Tuesday that he has reached out to the attorney of Jeffrey Epstein accomplice Ghislane Maxwell to meet with her “in the coming days.”

“This Department of Justice does not shy away from uncomfortable truths, nor from the responsibility to pursue justice wherever the facts may lead,” Attorney General Pam Bondi posted on X, tagging Blanche as the author.

“The joint statement by the DOJ and FBI of July 6 remains as accurate today as it was when it was written. Namely, that in the recent thorough review of the files maintained by the FBI in the Epstein case, no evidence was uncovered that could predicate an investigation against uncharged third parties.”

A joint Justice Department-FBI memo released on July 6 by Axios said that Epstein had no client list, died by suicide, and did not blackmail prominent individuals.

Epstein, a convicted sex offender, died in a Manhattan jail in 2019 while facing federal charges of sex-trafficking minors. His death was ruled a suicide, but conspiracy theories have been floated that he was murdered, given the circumstances surrounding his death and his connections to famous people like former President Bill Clinton, former MIT Professor Noam Chomsky, and the United Kingdom’s Prince Andrew.

“President Trump has told us to release all credible evidence. If Ghislane Maxwell has information about anyone who has committed crimes against victims, the FBI and the DOJ will hear what she has to say,” Blanche continued in his statement on Tuesday.

“Therefore, at the direction of Attorney General Bondi, I have communicated with counsel for Ms. Maxwell to determine whether she would be willing to speak with prosecutors from the Department. I anticipate meeting with Ms. Maxwell in the coming days. Until now, no administration on behalf of the Department had inquired about her willingness to meet with the government. That changes now.”

Maxwell is currently serving a 20-year sentence for child sex trafficking and related offenses. Her attorney reportedly confirmed the statement. “I can confirm that we are in discussions with the government and that Ghislaine will always testify truthfully. We are grateful to President Trump for his commitment to uncovering the truth in this case,” Maxwell’s lawyer, David Oscar Markus, said.”

  14. Just The News: “House Speaker Mike Johnson says he has “no concern” about questioning former President Obama over the Russia election interference hoax.

Christian Broadcasting Network’s David Brody asked Johnson in a video clip of an interview that was posted on X on Monday about whether it would be “tricky” to look into Obama’s role in the hoax and “bringing him in for some sort of deposition, potential subpoena?”

“We have no concern about that,” Johnson said. “If it’s uncomfortable for him, he shouldn’t have been involved in overseeing this, which is what it appears to us has happened. There’s a lot of allegations on the table. Our job is to go and follow each of those trails and to find out the truth. Those are very serious allegations with very serious implications, but we’re gonna have very serious people working on it, and we will get the answers.”

The Office of the Director of National Intelligence on Friday issued a press release stating that Gabbard had “revealed overwhelming evidence that demonstrates how, after President Trump won the 2016 election against Hillary Clinton, President Obama and his national security cabinet members manufactured and politicized intelligence to lay the groundwork for what was essentially a years-long coup against President Trump.”

Gabbard said the evidence she had unearthed had been forwarded to the DOJ for review. “The information we are releasing today clearly shows there was a treasonous conspiracy in 2016 committed by officials at the highest level of our government. Their goal was to subvert the will of the American people and enact what was essentially a years-long coup with the objective of trying to usurp the President from fulfilling the mandate bestowed upon him by the American people,” Gabbard said Friday.

The CIA’s recent review also critiqued the “high confidence” assessment by the FBI and the CIA that Russian leader Vladimir Putin had “aspired” to help Trump win in 2016.”

  16. “HHS Finds Systemic Disregard for Sanctity of Life in Organ Transplant System — Press Release: HHS”

Robert W Malone MD, MS, Jul 22, 2025

“HHS Finds Systemic Disregard for Sanctity of Life in Organ Transplant System: This is a press release from HHS, dated July 21, 2025 – Secretary Kennedy Threatens Closure of Deficient Organ Procurement Organization”

WASHINGTON—July 21, 2025— The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) under the leadership of Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. today announced a major initiative to begin reforming the organ transplant system following an investigation by its Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) that revealed disturbing practices by a major organ procurement organization.

“Our findings show that hospitals allowed the organ procurement process to begin when patients showed signs of life, and this is horrifying,” Secretary Kennedy said.

“The organ procurement organizations that coordinate access to transplants will be held accountable. The entire system must be fixed to ensure that every potential donor’s life is treated with the sanctity it deserves.”

HRSA directed the Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network (OPTN) to reopen a disturbing case involving potentially preventable harm to a neurologically injured patient by the federally-funded organ procurement organization (OPO) serving Kentucky, southwest Ohio, and part of West Virginia. Under the Biden administration, the OPTN’s Membership and Professional Standards Committee closed the same case without action.

Under Secretary Kennedy’s leadership, HRSA demanded a thorough, independent review of the OPO’s conduct and the treatment of vulnerable patients under its care. HRSA’s independent investigation revealed clear negligence after the previous OPTN Board of Directors claimed to find no major concerns in their internal review.

HRSA examined 351 cases where organ donation was authorized, but ultimately not completed. It found:

    • 103 cases (29.3%) showed concerning features, including 73 patients with neurological signs incompatible with organ donation.
    • At least 28 patients may not have been deceased at the time organ procurement was initiated—raising serious ethical and legal questions.
    • Evidence pointed to poor neurologic assessments, lack of coordination with medical teams, questionable consent practices, and misclassification of causes of death, particularly in overdose cases.

Vulnerabilities were highest in smaller and rural hospitals, indicating systemic gaps in oversight and accountability. In response to these findings, HRSA has mandated strict corrective actions for the OPO, and system-level changes to safeguard potential organ donors nationally. The OPO must conduct a full root cause analysis of its failure to follow internal protocols—including noncompliance with the five-minute observation rule after the patient’s death—and develop clear, enforceable policies to define donor eligibility criteria. Additionally, it must adopt a formal procedure allowing any staff member to halt a donation process if patient safety concerns arise.

Secretary Kennedy will decertify the OPO if it fails to comply with these corrective action requirements [PDF].

HRSA also took action to make sure that patients across the country will be safer when donating organs by directing the OPTN to improve safeguards and monitoring at the national level. Under HRSA’s directive, data about any safety-related stoppages of organ donation called for by families, hospitals, or OPO staff must be reported to regulators, and the OPTN must update policies to strengthen organ procurement safety and provide accurate, complete information about the donation process to families and hospitals.

These findings from HHS confirm what the Trump administration has long warned: entrenched bureaucracies, outdated systems, and reckless disregard for human life have failed to protect our most vulnerable citizens. Under Secretary Kennedy’s leadership, HHS is restoring integrity and transparency to organ procurement and transplant policy by putting patients’ lives first. These reforms are essential to restoring trust, ensuring informed consent, and protecting the rights and dignity of prospective donors and their families.

HHS recognizes House Committee on Energy and Commerce Chairman Brett Guthrie’s (KY-02) bipartisan work to improve the organ transplant system and looks forward to working with him and other issue-area champions in Congress to deliver reforms.

  17. A trooper arrived on scene about 20 minutes later and found driver Christopher Spain, 38, sitting on the mower on the shoulder of the highway. The Florida Highway Patrol stated that the trooper immediately observed signs of ‘impairment’ in Spain, including pinpoint pupils, flushed skin, a dry mouth, and irritation on the inside of his nose.

The Florida Man also kept sniffling, spitting and clearing his throat while talking with the officer. The trooper then attempted to give him a field sobriety test multiple times, but Spain wasn’t having it and became uncooperative after the third attempt.

Spain was then arrested and charged with driving under the influence. He was booked into the Hernando County Jail and was released Friday afternoon on $500 bond.”

Just The News: “Heavy metal icon Ozzy Osbourne died on Tuesday at age 76, just weeks after a farewell concert, where he reunited with his band, Black Sabbath. Osbourne’s family said in a statement, “It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love,” Sky News reported.

During his final show earlier this month, Osbourne said on stage to fans, “You’ve no idea how I feel – thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

His wife, Sharon, had announced the farewell concert earlier this year, saying that he was determined to give fans the “perfect farewell.” Osbourne announced in 2020 that he had Parkinson’s disease and had suffered other health problems in recent years, including complications from injuries sustained from a fall in 2019.

He was twice inducted into both the UK Music Hall of Fame and the U.S. Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame, with Black Sabbath and as a solo artist. Osbourne also has a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame.

He leaves behind his wife, Sharon, and their children, Aimee, Kelly, and Jack, in addition to his two older children, Jessica and Louis, from his first marriage to Thelma Riley, and grandchildren.”

  19. Just The News: “Three House committees on Tuesday subpoenaed ActBlue CEO Regina Wallace-Jones for documents in the panels’ probe of the online fundraising platform used for Democratic campaigns.

The chairmen of the House committees on Administration, Judiciary, and Oversight and Government Reform sent the subpoena on Tuesday, requesting Wallace-Jones provide the documents by Aug. 12.

“In light of allegations that online fundraising platforms that serve as conduits for political donations have accepted fraudulent donations from domestic and foreign sources, the Committees are conducting oversight to inform potential legislative reforms,” the chairmen wrote.

“To further our oversight and legislative reform efforts, on April 2, 2025, the Committees requested documents and communications related to internal misconduct and whistleblower retaliation at ActBlue. Although ActBlue initially provided documents voluntarily, it has since suspended its cooperation with the Committees. Therefore, the Committee on House Administration must resort to compulsory process to obtain the requested materials.”

After initially handing over documents to the committees, ActBlue informed the panels last month “that it would not make further voluntary productions until the Committees provided ‘more information’ about our oversight,” according to the chairmen.

“ActBlue did not provide a legitimate legal basis for refusing future cooperation with the Committees, and instead made baseless and untrue allegations about the Committees’ motives.”

      1. Results of search: “Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne’s “Back to the Beginning” farewell concert raised $190 million for charity, with the funds intended to be distributed to three organizations: Cure Parkinson’s, Birmingham Children’s Hospital, and Acorn Children’s Hospice. According to Tom Morello, the event’s musical director, the money will be donated to these causes. However, a spokesperson from LiveNation has since stated that the reported charity figures around the event are not a true reflection and are indeed false. As of now, the final donation to each charity has yet to be disclosed.”

The havoc which ensues from the Senate’s refusal to confirm President Trump’s nominees in a timely manner:

On Tuesday, after a pressure campaign from Jeffries, district court judges voted to oust Alina Habba as interim US Attorney of New Jersey.

“The order, signed by Judge Renée Marie Bumb, appointed Desiree Leigh Grace effective Tuesday,” Axios reported.
          Reuters reported:

A panel of judges in the U.S. District Court in New Jersey declined to permanently appoint President Donald Trump’s former lawyer Alina Habba as the state’s top federal prosecutor, according to an order from the court.

Habba has been serving as New Jersey’s interim U.S. attorney since her appointment by Trump in March, but was limited by law to 120 days in office unless the court agreed to keep her in place. The U.S. Senate has not yet acted on her formal nomination to the role, submitted by Trump this month.

Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche responded to the latest attack on Trump’s nominee.

“The district court judges in NJ are trying to force out @USAttyHabba before her term expires at 11:59 p.m. Friday. Their rush reveals what this was always about: a left-wing agenda, not the rule of law. When judges act like activists, they undermine confidence in our justice system.

This is going to get messy.
