Morning All!
we have hazy skies and 60* currently. it rained so hard and so furiously that the deck is wet clear up to the door. mind you, the front deck is COVERED with a roof and 10-12 ft wide–so it had to have blown quite a bit to get to the door!
I am tired of this crazy weather year already!
Good morning, Pat! Same here as far as the weather is concerned – rain, rain, rain, thunder, lightning – thankfully, the wind wasn’t too bad but it’s only 66 and still cloudy. Power blipped off last night so, of course, I had to reset all my clocks.
Wheezer is really skinny again so I need to get another dose of wormer somewhere – the vet clinic closed here but there’s one in Creighton, which is only about 1/2 hr. away. I’ll call them later today to see if I can get several doses to have on hand. He rubbed and rubbed up against my legs and I managed to swipe my hand down his back a few times….but if his face is turned towards me, he will ALWAYS take a swipe at me…sigh….pissant!
Got up at 4:30 and decided I couldn’t stand myself any more and desperately needed a shower. I managed to do it w/o falling over or having difficulty breathing, altho I was panting a bit from the exertion (still no oxy). It feels soooo good to be clean again! Went on a search for a lightbulb for my BR specialty lights – of course, I didn’t have one but I found one that will work until I get the right kind. I am really hoping that the case of jelly will be in today – no doubt the feeder is filled with water. If not, I’ll have to get at least a couple of jars.
Soooo….what craziness will today bring??!!?? Hope your weather improves and y’all don’t slide down the mountain on a river of mud!!! Ours is supposed to clear up by tomorrow but who knows?!?
Morning Filly!
all is calm here at the moment. and the animals are starting to come back out…so that means at least a temporary break in the weather.
see, you KNOW things. I would see a skinny cat and think I need to feed it more…lol.
saw a male oriole this morning at the feeder this morning and the bunny was at the bottom of the ramp watching me put the feeders out.
we picked about a dozen tomatoes yesterday before the rain hit–so that’s good.
but the driveway only looks wet–the river of mud is gone. it was that dry before i guess.
A Rhode Island man has been arrested and charged with making death threats against President Donald Trump and other top administration officials, acting Rhode Island United States Attorney Sara Miron Bloom said Wednesday…
According to a statement from Miron Bloom’s office, [Carl D.] Montague, [37], made an “obscenity-laced” post on Trump’s Truth Social site on June 27, where he threatened to shoot and kill the Republican president.
Prosecutors said Montague also made the same threat against U.S. Attorney General Pamela Bondi and White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller.
Montague was charged by a criminal complaint with threats against the president; interstate threats; threats to assault; and kidnap, or murder of a United States official, judge, or law enforcement officer. ..
The incident was investigated by the FBI, U.S. Secret Service, and the Providence Police Department, federal prosecutors said.
Our country, Pres. Trump, and our officials need prayer.
July 8th: Supreme Court overrules California District Judge blocking Trump’s EO to undertake “large scale reductions” at federal agencies.
July 10th: We get reports that there are mass firings going on at the DOJ/FBI.
Sounds like Trump got the green light to begin his mass cuts in the intelligence community, and the swamp purge is underway. Now Trump, and his appointees, can remove any bad actors at will, under the guise of government efficiency. Brilliant.
I understand people are thirsty for results, but Trump and his team haven’t even fully cleaned house yet. Activist Dem judges have been obstructing him this entire time. Trump signed this EO in February, and just two days ago, it was finally overturned by the Supreme Court.
Clearly there are still leakers and Deep State loyalists embedded within the DOJ/FBI. Wouldn’t it make sense for Trump and his appointees to remove the bad apples first?
During a targeted enforcement operation between June 6 and June 11, authorities say they arrested 11 people convicted of various charges.
Below are the details provided about those arrested by ICE as part of the operation:
• Pao Angelo Vang, convicted of second-degree sexual assault of a child on June 6, 2025.
• Thong Lao, convicted of second-degree sexual assault of a child on June 6, 2025.
• Tou Pao Lee, convicted of soliciting a minor on June 6, 2025.
• Va Vang, convicted of first-degree sexual assault on June 6, 2025.
• Xiong Pao Vang, convicted of lewd or lascivious acts with a child under 14 on June 6, 2025.
• Yee Shae, convicted of first-degree sexual abuse of a minor on June 6, 2025.
• Yia Xiong, convicted of third-degree criminal sexual conduct on June 6, 2025.
• Pok Vue, convicted of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct on June 10, 2025.
• Hue Nai Cheng, convicted of first-degree criminal sexual conduct on June 11, 2025.
• Vang Neng Lao, convicted of second-degree criminal sexual conduct on June 11, 2025.
• Dao Moua, convicted of third-degree criminal sexual conduct on June 6, 2025.
“These pedophiles and sex offenders are the sickos our brave ICE law enforcement are putting their lives on the line to arrest and remove from American communities,” said ICE Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin in a statement. “Governor Walz and his fellow sanctuary politicians are fighting to keep these sex offenders and other criminal illegal aliens in our country. Instead of comparing ICE to the Nazi-Gestapo, Governor Walz should be thanking our law enforcement for removing these pedophiles from Minnesota.”
Officials with DHS say that 70% of ICE arrests have convictions or pending charges.
Here’s some breaking news: 10 juveniles were found at this marijuana facility – all illegal aliens, 8 of them unaccompanied. It’s now under investigation for child labor violations.
Officials have arrested “almost 600 known or suspected terrorists” in the U.S. interior, Department of Homeland Security Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin announced this week.
“Keep in mind… we have arrested almost 600 known or suspected terrorists within the United States — 2,700 members of Tren de Aragua, a vicious gang that kills rapes and maims Americans for sport,” she said during an appearance on Fox News.
“That is who these politicians are protecting. And unfortunately, because they won’t let us in these jails to lodge detainers and eventually deport these depraved individuals, we’re going to have to go out in the streets and really flood the zone to get these criminals off of our streets, and it makes it a lot less safe for these communities,” she added.
This update comes as immigration enforcement officials continue to detain criminal illegal aliens all across the country. DHS has noted time and time again that the vast majority of those they are arresting have prior convictions or pending charges.
From the arrests in Miami to Los Angeles, the criminal histories of these illegal immigrants include forcible rape, sexual assault, sexual battery, willful cruelty to a child, domestic violence, second degree murder, assault with intent to commit rape, distribution of cocaine and heroin, child molestation, homicide, and more.
“Seventy percent of ICE arrests are of criminal illegal aliens with convictions or pending charges,” DHS made clear.
“Additionally, many illegal aliens categorized as ‘non-criminals’ are actually terrorists, human rights abusers, gang members and more — they just don’t have a rap sheet in the U.S. This deceptive ‘non-criminal’ categorization is devoid of reality and misleads the American public,” it added.
ICE: MS-13 Kingpin on El Salvador’s ‘Top 100 Most Wanted’ List Found Hiding in Nebraska
An illegal alien who is also a member of the violent MS-13 gang was arrested on Wednesday while hiding out in Omaha, Nebraska, the news coming as President Donald Trump’s administration has been working to find and deport such individuals.
In a press release, the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) said its Homeland Security Investigations nabbed the man who is a high-ranking member, or kingpin, of the gang and is also on El Salvador’s list of top 100 most wanted fugitives.
“The Salvadoran national is a criminal alien wanted in El Salvador for the aggravated homicide of five victims; attempted aggravated homicide; deprivation of liberty; and terrorist organization affiliation,” the agency said but did not identify the individual by name.
Officials also arrested another illegal with him whom they said was an MS-13 associate. The pair were apparently living together.
“His associate, Rene Saul Escobar Ochoa, 30, is a criminal alien, known MS-13 gang member and foreign terrorist also wanted in El Salvador. Escobar Ochoa is accused of giving orders to fellow gang members to commit a variety of crimes, including multiple homicides, extortion, imprisonment and drug trafficking,” the news release detailed, saying they posed a severe threat to the safety of the Omaha community.
In a statement, HSI Kansas City Special Agent in Charge Mark Zito, whose office oversees Omaha, said, “These illegal aliens didn’t just sneak into our country; they brought with them a legacy of violence, terror and death. They thought they could hide in America’s heartland, but they were sadly mistaken. Not on our watch.”
In Indiana this week, ICE arrested a Honduran national who is an MS-13 member and in the country illegally, Breitbart News reported. The outlet identified the man as 30-year-old Jonny Handy Martinez-Barillas.
He was “picked up in Clay County, Indiana, and was allowed to roam the country after police in Maryland freed him from prison without obeying an ICE detainer in 2023. The illegal alien had been charged with first-degree murder and firearm possession in Maryland,” the outlet said…
President Trump’s administration has labeled MS-13 and the Tren de Aragua gang as designated terrorist organizations
“What Underlies the Erosion of Trust in Modern Medicine? Reviewing the long road which got us here and the incredible opportunity now before us”
A Midwestern Doctor, Jul 11, 2025
EXCERPT: “One of my longstanding curiosities has been what universal laws govern the reality we inhabit, and I have gradually concluded one is “the law of equilibrium,” which states:
•Any process we observe is the product of competing forces balancing each other out to an equilibrium point. •While it is sometimes possible to shift the equilibrium point (e.g., by mass poisoning the world with COVID vaccines), in most cases, systems will typically return to their equilibrium point. •While the equilibrium sometimes rapidly re-establishes itself, it can often take decades, if not centuries, to do so. When viewed over time, these forces propagate across generations and eventually return to their equilibrium.
Furthermore:
•Humans throughout history continually overestimate their ability to suppress the equilibrium’s restoration and engage in a variety of extreme but ultimately futile tactics to prevent it. •The internet has rapidly accelerated the speed at which at which societal equilibria reassert themselves, and as the speed of the internet increases, so does the speed of the “re-equilibration.”
COVID Distorts The Equilibrium
Throughout my life, I have watched a gradually increasing encroachment on our health by predatory entities that prioritize profits over people (e.g., synthetic agriculture, processed foods, chemical manufacturing, and the pharmaceutical industry). Each of these follows the same pattern—something new gets introduced as “safe and effective,” people notice the issues and object to it, science, media and the government conspire to suppress those objections, and then once it’s normalized, something even more egregious is done the next time.
In turn, I’ve tried to show here that the unbelievable things we saw with the COVID vaccines were, in truth, simple repetitions of an existing pattern, that began over a century ago with the smallpox vaccine (which arguably were worse and whose mandates more widely protested than the COVID vaccines).
Sadly, while healthy skepticism existed towards vaccines and the media to varying degrees called out the government’s disastrous vaccines programs (e.g., the hot polio lots they released or the rushed and unnecessary swine flu vaccines), in 1997, the FDA legalized direct to consumer drug advertising, allowing the pharmaceutical industry through the mass media to dominate the narrative, at which point the only places these objections could be aired were the alternative media, where they in turn were dismissed as “fringe conspiracy theories that no credible outlet would touch.”
Note: the HPV vaccine (approved in 2006) had many of the same issues the COVID vaccine had and when the injuries piled up, the FDA and the CDC simply did everything they could to sweep them under the rug just like COVID. Likewise, this issue is not unique to vaccines. For example, the SSRIs had serious issues with mind-altering suicidal and homicidal behaviors and rapidly became the most complained about drugs in America, but the FDA instead fought all efforts to give a basic safety warning on them and gagged their scientist who confirmed they caused children to kill themselves.
Depending on how you look at it, the good or bad thing about COVID was that it was the most extreme version we’ve seen of the previous pattern (e.g., ridiculous, over-the-top, and hateful vaccine marketing coupled with the first adult vaccine mandates our generation had experienced), and it happened to be both an incredibly dangerous, unneeded and ineffective vaccine.
Because of this, it was a shock that woke a lot of people up to something being seriously wrong with our medical system, and created a loss of trust in our institutions and medicine which has never been seen before in my lifetime—best demonstrated by a recent large JAMA study of 443,445 Americans, which found that in April 2020, 71.5% of them trusted doctors and hospitals, while in January 2024, only 40.1% did.
In short, I would argue, the medical industry got “too greedy” and effectively killed their “goose that laid the golden eggs” through their conduct during COVID, which was further worsened by leading Trump to go all-in on a vaccine before the election and then delaying it at the last moment, as Biden was presumably a more profitable president for the industry—an approach that worked until Trump was re-elected.
Questioning Doctors
Calley Means recently shared something quite noteworthy about the loss of trust in medicine that I felt merited further discussion…..”
there were always companies trying to get doctors to prescribe their drugs. i remember early on Friday morning I had a doc appt and had to wait because a sales rep brought in coffee and donuts for the staff. she got to make her sales pitch while i waited for my appt –making everyone after me wait for their appts…while the staff sat and enjoyed breakfast. and that was 35 years ago.
once obamacare made doctors join hospital systems, things got even worse. they need to get rid of the big brother approach to medicine.
Just The News: “President Donald Trump on Thursday threatened to withhold his endorsement for any Republican who votes against his multi-billion dollar rescissions package, which includes cuts to federal spending for public broadcasting and foreign aid.
The package includes $1.1 billion in cuts for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, as the White House has said that NPR and PBS have “spread radical, woke propaganda disguised as ‘news,’” and $8.3 billion for the United States Agency for International Development, as well as other international assistance programs.
Trump warned Republicans in the Senate not to oppose the legislation, claiming that public broadcasting was even worse than left-leaning news outlets like CNN and MSNBC.
“It is very important that all Republicans adhere to my Recissions Bill and, in particular, DEFUND THE CORPORATION FOR PUBLIC BROADCASTING (PBS and NPR), which is worse than CNN & MSDNC put together,” he said in a post on Truth Social. “Any Republican that votes to allow this monstrosity to continue broadcasting will not have my support or Endorsement. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”
The House passed its version of the package last month, which cancels money that was already appropriated by Congress in an effort to cement the Department of Government Efficiency’s spending cuts. The Senate is expected to vote on its version of the bill next week, according to CBS News. It faces a July 18 deadline.”
he endorsed some of these losers for reelection in return for votes on the BBB I have no doubt about that. let’s see if he can keep them in line now for the recissions bill–which is what America is looking forward to imo.
Just The News: “Pennsylvania’s Democratic Sen. John Fetterman admitted on Thursday that his family appreciated President Donald Trump’s support for his recent rhetoric blasting calls to abolish Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
Fetterman is known for breaking with his party on controversial issues like immigration, Israel, Iran and Ukraine. He also helped confirm several of Trump’s Cabinet nominees and has met with Trump multiple times to find common ground. The senator most recently condemned members of his party for calling to abolish ICE, stating that it was “inappropriate and outrageous” to call for its end.
Trump praised the rhetoric in a comment at the White House, where he was meeting with African leaders. “The new John Fetterman is exactly what you said,” Trump replied. “He’s right. He’s right. And we have to protect our police officers, and we will, and we have been.”
Fetterman told the Daily Mail that the praise “probably made my parents proud.” “They’re big Fox News viewers,” Fetterman said. “My whole family is Republican.”
Although the senator has embraced some more conservative stances, Fetterman has been insistent that he was not considering switching parties, stating that he would make a “bad Republican.” He also sided with his party on Trump’s “One Big Beautiful Bill” last week.”
he has been the biggest surprise to me. he seemed more common sense than many long time congress people. he doesn’t vote party lines all the time…he votes on merit it seems.
Just The News: “Rep. Scott Perry, R-Pa., said Thursday that the House would continue with its probe into former President Joe Biden’s mental health after his former doctor cited the 5th Amendment to avoid answering questions.
“This guy pled the fifth,” Perry said on the “John Solomon Reports” podcast. “He’s not the last one we’re going to go to, and we’re not going to be done with him, or this story.”
Biden’s White House Dr. Kevin O’Connor invoked his Fifth Amendment rights during closed-door testimony Wednesday morning as part of the GOP-led chamber’s probe into Biden’s mental acuity and whether his inner circle tried to conceal a cognitive decline from the public. O’Connor is among several members of Biden’s inner circle who have faced calls to testify on the matter.
“Keep a seat belt on and keep your head on the swivel… because there’s going to be a lot happening,” Perry said. “It’s been a fast first six months, and the next six aren’t going to be any slower.”
Rep. Andy Biggs, R-Ariz., on Wednesday suggested Congress obviate O’Connor’s Fifth Amendment rights in order for him to testify. “If that’s the way you’re going to go, then I think Congress is going to probably have to say, ‘Guess what? We think that there’s some fire where that smoke is.’ And maybe we should just grant him a limited immunity, and that would obviate his Fifth Amendment right, and thus we could find out what really happened,” Biggs said on the “Just the News, No Noise” TV show.”
In a long-overdue repudiation of international lawfare cloaked as human rights work, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio has slammed sanctions on Francesca Albanese, the United Nations’s so-called “special rapporteur” for Palestinian territories, whose tenure has been the epitome of anti-Western, anti-American, and anti-Israeli provocation theatre.
Albanese, an Italian academic turned ideological inquisitor, was appointed in 2022 by the United Nations Human Rights Council—a body whose moral compass spins like it was borrowed from James Comey, Crossfire Hurricane edition.
Among its current members: China, Cuba, Sudan, and South Africa—a rogue’s gallery of surveillance states, strongmen, and serial rights abusers, nations that take a brief respite from oppressing their own citizens to lecture the West on justice.
From this perch, Albanese hasn’t monitored human rights so much as targeted them, channeling her mandate into a scorched-earth crusade against America, Israel, and the corporations that dare do business with either.
Her latest gambit? A 2025 report accusing Israel of “genocide,” targeting U.S. and European firms as complicit, and demanding the criminal prosecution of Western citizens and corporations.
The timing was grotesque: the report dropped amid the 2025 Israel-Iran war, as Hamas rockets flew, Israeli jets responded, U.S. forces struck Iranian nuclear sites, and President Donald Trump was brokering a ceasefire to bring lasting peace to the region.
Undaunted by reality, Albanese wrote as if the Iranian Revolutionary Guard were a humanitarian NGO and Lockheed Martin the real aggressor.
Secretary Rubio had seen enough.
On Wednesday, invoking Executive Order 14203, the U.S. government:
Froze Albanese’s assets under U.S. jurisdiction,
Prohibited all U.S. individuals and companies from engaging with her,
And barred her from setting foot on American soil, including the UN headquarters in New York.
It marks the first time a sitting UN rapporteur has been added to the U.S. sanctions list.
The provocation, however, has been years in the making.
Her now-notorious report—From Economy of Occupation to Economy of Genocide—is a brazen broadside against nearly every entity aligned with Israeli defense and American foreign policy.
The report calls for corporate executives at Microsoft, Amazon, Palantir, and others to face criminal prosecution under international law, urges countries to sever economic ties, impose embargoes, and take punitive measures against those supporting Israel.
But Albanese’s ambitions extend beyond corporate targets. Her report implicitly endorses ICC arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant.
She further escalated her campaign in a public social media post by calling on Italy, France, and Greece to “explain why they provided airspace and safe passage to ICC-wanted Benjamin Netanyahu, whom they are obligated to arrest.”
U.S. Secretary of State Rubio denounced Albanese for her “illegitimate and shameful efforts to prompt ICC action against U.S. and Israeli officials, companies, and executives.”
He added that she “has directly engaged with the ICC in efforts to investigate, arrest, detain, or prosecute nationals of the United States or Israel, without the consent of those two countries.”
And, in a searing indictment of her ideology, Rubio declared: “Albanese has spewed unabashed antisemitism, expressed support for terrorism, and open contempt for the United States, Israel, and the West.”
The United States has never ratified the Rome Statute. Under longstanding bipartisan policy, the ICC holds no lawful jurisdiction over American citizens. But Albanese presses forward anyway—untethered to law, consent, or reality.
She leverages her UN title to launder Hamas propaganda far and wide. She is a blistering advocate for using the International Criminal Court as a star chamber—a tool of political vengeance masquerading as justice.
Enough was enough. These sanctions are not a silencing tactic—though the usual suspects will shriek regardless. They are a sovereign act of self-defense—a foreign policy firewall against the weaponization of international law by unaccountable global clerics aligned with those who wish us harm.
Simply put, Francesca Albanese is an anti-American agent provocateur who has built a career on agitprop against Israel and the United States. Being held accountable is long overdue.
One added benefit of these sanctions? She’ll now face considerable difficulty peddling her venom at U.S. universities—the very institutions that once rolled out the red carpet for her brand of ideological warfare.
so we’ve been using these techniques for over 70 years, to create monsoons, but of course, the cloud seeding today is benign. /s
FTA
Dane Wigington, a climate scientist, says climate engineering is a key tool of the military-industrial complex. It has been used for over 70 years, impacting weather patterns, the food supply, biodiversity, and human health. In 1962, at Southwest Texas State University, then Vice President Lyndon Johnson stated that “He who controls the weather controls the world.” He advocated for America to develop a weather satellite to monitor and possibly control the cloud layer and weather itself. Referring to this statement, Wigington notes how Johnson, as president, approved Operation Popeye: the seeding of monsoon clouds in Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam to cause landslides, disrupt river crossings, and support U.S. military efforts. He believes that undisclosed and officially denied climate engineering projects are still ongoing in our skies.
Thanks to scientists like Kirby and Wigington, the public is increasingly aware of climate engineering operations, and a movement to ban them has gained momentum. Thirty-one states have introduced or passed legislation to restrict such weather control efforts. These bills cite concerns about federal overreach—primarily exercised through the unelected, left-dominated bureaucracy in various agencies—and advocate for state sovereignty in environmental issues. They draw on the 10th Amendment, which clearly affirms the power of the people and the states.
OK – the case of jelly has arrived and the vet in Creighton is getting some wormer ready for me. A stop @ FD, then the grocery store and on to Creighton. BBL…..
Holy shit! That was THE trip from hell!!! Everything went fine thru the FD stop (altho they didn’t even have 1/3 of what I needed) to the grocery store. They were very kind and brought the jelly out to me, as well as a small lope and a few slightly green bananas – hopefully I can eat them but we’ll see – and waited while I wrote them a check. So, off to Creighton to the vet clinic…and that was where the trouble started. The young girl who gave me directions didn’t have the slightest idea how to give them. As I said, I was only familiar w/main street, the grocery store, the Subway, and the hospital up by Bomgaars, where I get my plants in the spring.
She talked about the grocery store and then a 4-way stop….a couple of blocks up and turn left – they were located on Oak Street. So I figured somewhere on main street, I would come to a 4-way stop and Oak Street one block past that. I discovered there IS no 4-way stop after driving the full length of the town, all the way to the outside of town and back. I drove up and down main street twice, turning here and there, looking for Oak street – nowhere to be found – so I called her. After 4 complete u-turns, she finally got her shit together when I said I was on Peabody…. follow that up to the 4-way stop sign @ the HS, turn left on the next street, which was Oak Street – not even CLOSE to the main street. Good Lord almighty!!!
There used to be a 4-way stop where you turned off the hiway to enter Creighton proper but it is now only a 2-way stop – all hiway traffic has to stop for local traffic to pass first. To be fair, she was very understanding at my peevishness and brought the 3 doses of wormer for the next 3 days out to me. Then I’m supposed to call them and tell them if he’s looking any better, not as ragged.
Sheesh! Filled the Oriole feeder, pulled some Texas stickers, and moved the upside-down suet feeder from the front to the back w/the other feeder. I still need to fill the seed feeder but screw it – the sparrows and finches can eat jelly for now!!! I’m pooped! At least the sun is out and the clouds have cleared so there is that…but the heat came along with it – up to 80 now.

“According to a new book reviewed by the New York Post, the choice to pick Tim Walz as Kamala Harris’s running mate was based on a gut feeling by Kamala, that was rooted in Walz’s love for Diet Mountain Dew…
It turns out that the other candidates, Shapiro and Kelly, chose water, while Walz requested Diet Mountain Dew during the final interview for the VP position. Kamala believed that this demonstrated his Midwest credentials and would help her connect with rural voters. She thought Walz would appeal to the flyover states because… well, apparently, rural Americans prefer vice presidential candidates who eat junk food.
Makes sense to me!
That disastrous and frankly bigoted decision cost her the election – right from the start of her campaign.

Musk’s America Party seems to have pretty much fizzled, before it even left the launch pad…Musk’s fantasy:
“How’s the America Party working out now that we know the FEC filing was fake?
As of the latest available information, Elon Musk has not officially filed with the FEC to create the America Party. While Musk announced the formation of the America Party on X on July 5, 2025, following his public feud with President Donald Trump over the “One Big Beautiful Bill Act,” there is no evidence in FEC records or credible reports confirming that he has submitted formal paperwork to register the party.
Multiple sources note that Musk’s plans appear conceptual at this stage, with no concrete steps toward legal formation, such as setting up a tax identification number, bank account, or treasurer, which are required for FEC registration.” GrrrGraphics-Ben Garrison
“North Carolina denies mom’s homeschooling application because her college diploma was written in Latin”
Not The Bee, Mister Retrops, Jul 10, 2025
ENTIRE ARTICLE: “Homeschool mom Kristin Barclay and her family recently moved from South Carolina to North Carolina, where there are a few more hoops to jump through if you want to homeschool your kids.
One of those hoops is that North Carolina requires homeschool parents to have at least a high school diploma and submit it to the state along with their intention to homeschool statement, which was no problem for Barclay. She graduated from Sweet Briar College, a historical women’s school in Virginia.
But North Carolina’s Department of Non-Public Education denied her application. From the Home School Legal Defense Association:
She received an email from DNPE containing a concerning message: ‘One or more problems exist in your notice of intent.’ Specifically, ‘The diploma evidence was not written in English.’ The email added that until this problem was corrected, ‘your homeschool is not legally registered with the state of North Carolina.’
The foreign language in question was Latin.
All the diplomas from Sweet Briar College are issued in Latin. In fact, a lot of universities, including most of the Ivy Leagues, issue diplomas in Latin or at least partially in Latin.
(Which is another reminder that universities are an inherently western tradition, and if the activist students were serious about tearing down the influences of the western world, they wouldn’t be going to college or be emulating Karl Marx, who was a German philosopher … )
Anyway Barclay contacted Sweet Briar, and they sent an English translation to the department, who again denied her application. This time they said the translation didn’t have her name on it, so they wanted her college transcript.
Sensing that she was getting the run around, she contacted the Home School Legal Defense Association (HSLDA), which sent the state a ridiculum-est (this is ridiculous) letter.
HSLDA Senior Counsel Darren Jones wrote to the DNPE on Kristin’s behalf, pointing out that their request for additional documentation went beyond what state law requires.
What he didn’t add, but could have, is that the DNPE was wrong to consider the Latin diploma sui generis — an outlier posing a unique problem.
They pointed out that the department was asking for more than what was legally required. The state backed down almost immediately, accepting Barclay’s Latin diploma and the translation the university provided, so they could read it.
‘Thankfully, it wasn’t a scary legal issue, but it was unnecessarily difficult,’ she said. ‘The most frustrating part was that I did what they asked, but they said, “No, no, you need to do more.” My feeling was that I have my diploma, and that should be enough.’
HSLDA says scenarios like this happen a lot, as government bureaucrats all over the country try to stop parents from homeschooling their kids. But if there’s any fight worth fighting, parents having a say in how their children are educated is definitely it.”
I am soooo pissed….I was really looking forward to some ripe cantelope, only to discover that it isn’t even CLOSE to ripe!!! I’m so tired of this shit…..so I’ve got it sitting out to at least soften up some…..
“Denaturalize And Deport Zohran Mamdani For Immigration Fraud — Any serious nation with an interest in self-preservation would immediately denaturalize and deport Mamdani.”
The Federalist, By: B.L. Hahn, July 11, 2025
ENTIRE ARTICLE: “As you’ve probably heard, Zohran Mamdani is the communist who recently declared victory in New York City’s Democrat mayoral primary. He is expected to become mayor in November after the general election.
Mamdani made several fraudulent claims when becoming a U.S. citizen in 2018 at the age of 26. Part of the naturalization process Mamdani went through includes the Oath of Allegiance, during which the applicant must recite the following statement: “I will support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic.”
Prior to taking this oath, Mamdani completed Form N-400. Because of what we know about his political ideology, he lied in answering question 5b within part nine of the form — a question that asks the applicant if they have ever advocated for communism, among other inquiries.
There is no question as to whether Mamdani is a communist. In 2021, Mamdani spoke to the Young Democratic Socialists of America and plainly stated that the “end goal” of his belief system is to “seize the means of production.” In a previous article, I listed Mamdani’s other radical positions, but in calling him a communist, I see no reason to go beyond his stated goal of seizing the means of production, as this is the fundamental economic concept of communism.
Being a communist is mutually exclusive with the Oath of Allegiance — meaning Mamdani committed perjury by making false statements in addition to immigration fraud on Form N-400. Obtuse critics of these claims might question whether Mamdani held communist beliefs while going through the naturalization process.
Mamdani’s interest and activity in politics predate his citizenship. In 2015, he volunteered for Ali Najmi’s campaign for New York City Council’s 23rd District in Queens. Najmi is a far-left criminal defense lawyer practicing in Manhattan. In 2017, Mamdani joined the Democratic Socialists of America and campaigned for Khader El-Yateem, a socialist who at the time was running for city council in New York City.
The Democratic Socialists of America is a de facto communist organization, which means that Mamdani joined a communist enterprise prior to becoming a U.S. citizen. No meaningful difference distinguishes socialism and communism — only trivial, superficial divergences that amount to distinctions without differences. These are well-documented historical facts. Friedrich Hayek’s “The Road to Serfdom” is a compendium of brilliant elucidations that detail the inseparable relationship between socialism, totalitarianism, and tyranny.
In his work titled Marxism: Philosophy and Economics, Thomas Sowell noted that both Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels used the terms socialism and communism interchangeably “in discussing the post-revolutionary proletarian society in which the means of production would be collectively owned.”
During Stalin’s 1936 address to the Extraordinary Eighth Congress of Soviets of the USSR, he proclaimed: “It is clear that the democratism of the draft of the New Constitution is not ordinary or universally recognized democratism in the abstract, but Socialist democratism.”
Other examples abound. As Beth Brelje noted, the communist apologists fact-checkers at Politifact are unwilling to call a spade a spade. Apparently, for Mamdani to be considered a communist, he must say, “I am a communist!” As I said of Kamala Harris, the flattering labels people apply to themselves are meaningless. A belief system is defined by its ideas, not an arbitrary and often deceptive label.
If a communist can lie during the naturalization process and, merely seven years later, take political control of New York City while running on a platform that includes a proposal to tax white people, then the Oath of Allegiance and Form N-400 are meaningless. They are nothing but a performative charade, intended to weed out the non-existent applicants stupid enough to declare themselves communist enemies of America while filling out the form.
America is supposed to be a serious nation that cares about its sovereignty — that is what this administration promised. Any serious nation with an interest in self-preservation would immediately denaturalize and deport Mamdani. We cannot allow foreign communists to immigrate to America and take control of our institutions.”
“Pentagon Pulls Promotion Of Admiral Who Allowed Drag Shows After Federalist Inquiry”
The Federalist, By: Jacqueline Annis-Levings, July 10, 2025
ENTIRE ARTICLE: “The Defense Department is pulling the recommendation for Rear Admiral Michael Donnelly’s promotion, one week after the DoD refused to answer The Federalist’s inquiries, as the Daily Wire first reported.
“Secretary Hegseth has chosen to withdraw Admiral Donnelly’s nomination to lead [the] 7th fleet. The Secretary is thankful for his continued service and wishes him luck in his next position. The Department will open up nominations for the 7th fleet commander.”
Donnelly gained infamy for allowing drag shows aboard his ship, the USS Ronald Reagan, during Trump’s first term. The Federalist reached out to the White House to ask why Donnelly was being promoted despite his apparent opposition to Trump’s vision for the military, but did not receive a response. Upon reaching out to the Secretary of Defense’s Office with the same question, the Federalist was referred to Navy Public Affairs, which also did not respond.
On the campaign trail, Trump promised to fire woke generals and admirals, rid the military of other woke elements, and make the armed forces strong again. He even featured a video that spliced clips of Full Metal Jacket alongside Admiral Rachel Levine and Navy drag queen “Harpy Daniels” to illustrate the strength of the military under Trump versus wokeness under Biden.
“Harpy Daniels,” an openly nonbinary sailor and drag performer whose real name is Joshua Kelly, was crowned a Navy digital ambassador in 2022. In 2017 and 2018, he performed drag for Morale, Welfare, and Recreation Department events onboard the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan. Donnelly was the ship’s captain at the time.
Donnelly previously commanded Strike Fighter Squadron 154, the USS Denver, the USS Ronald Reagan, Carrier Strike Group 5, and U.S. Naval Forces Korea. He is currently the head of the Chief of Naval Operations’ Air Warfare directorate. If promoted to 7th fleet commander, he would have commanded up to 70 ships, 150 aircraft, and more than 27,000 sailors — the largest overseas force in the Navy.
Since his appointment, Hegseth has made good on Trump’s promises by implementing the president’s ban on recruiting trans-identifying individuals and working to remove them from the military.”
“It Should Be Obvious By Now That Not Everyone Can Become An American — We have to reject the toxic multicultural ideology, popular for many decades, that degrades citizenship to mere process neutralism.”
The Federalist, By: John Daniel Davidson, July 11, 2025
EXCERPT: “There is perhaps no greater issue in American life today than the debate over citizenship and national identity. I don’t just mean the debate over illegal immigration, which often serves as a kind of proxy for the underlying debate over what it means to be an American and preserve a distinctly American nation.
Yes, we have to secure our border and put a stop to illegal immigration. But that’s just part — and arguably a small part — of a much larger and more difficult problem, which concerns American identity, national sovereignty, and cultural cohesion.
I wrote last week that in America today not everyone with citizenship is actually an American. To some, this might sound incendiary or extreme. Certainly it violates the tenets of multiculturalism that have been ascendent in America for decades now. But it’s actually just a straightforward observation of reality — so long as we understand that being an American means something more than merely securing legal documents or going through a neutral administrative process. Doing so might confer citizenship, but it will not make someone an American.
Vice President J.D. Vance hit on this in a speech for the Claremont Institute over the weekend. “You cannot swap 10 million people from anywhere in the world and expect America to remain unchanged,” he said. “You cannot export the Constitution to some random country and expect the same kind of government. Our citizens are not interchangeable cogs in the global economy.”
Vance is exactly right, and his point gets at the heart of what we’re really debating when we argue about border security, or mass deportations, or immigration visas. The reason we have an immigration system at all, at least in theory, is to ensure that we know who comes into this country and that they come in on our terms and for our benefit. It is our interests, not those of would-be immigrants or asylum-seekers, that our immigration system should strive to serve above all.
But beyond immigration, Vance is touching on something essential about America that has been largely lost, suppressed really, for more than a generation: America is not just a “propositional nation,” not just an idea but a people. That’s why you cannot export the Constitution to some random country and expect the same kind of government or suddenly import millions of people from foreign lands and expect America to survive. We are not a set of abstract propositions to which anyone from any part of the world can assent and suddenly become an American. We are a people with a common language, culture, history, customs, and so on.
About 20 years ago, Pat Buchanan had a more pugnacious version of what Vance said: “It is not true that all creeds and cultures are equally assimilable in a First World nation born of England, Christianity, and Western civilization. Race, faith, ethnicity and history leave genetic fingerprints no ‘proposition nation’ can erase.”
This is an important point, and it has to be asserted even at the risk of being falsely accused of racism or xenophobia. A nation requires a certain amount of cultural cohesion — common language, customs, morality, and way of life. That means some cultures and creeds are simply not compatible with American civilization. Multiculturalism, in other words, is a dangerous delusion that, combined with mass immigration, is a nation-destroyer.
And while it’s true that part of our American heritage is a belief in the principles laid out in the Declaration of Independence — like “all men are created equal” that apply universally, to all people — it’s totally wrong to claim that our national identity begins and ends with that set of principles, and that therefore anyone who adopts them is by definition an American.
For one thing, not every creed and culture will accept the thoroughly Christian proposition that all men are created equal. And even if a foreigner did accept it in theory, that would still not be enough to make him an American if he had not also assimilated in all the other, very much non-theoretical ways that are required to join a nation and become part of its people.
Many people on the left don’t seem to grasp this, or they cannot accept it. For them, citizenship in the narrow, legal sense is all that matters. They cannot conceive of nationalism or national identity as anything but process neutralism. In this way, they are able to embrace multiculturalism in the misguided belief that religious or cultural differences aren’t really all that important so long as one meets the minimum standard for legal status…..”
this is why illegal immigration is so offensive. WE choose who can come here and who becomes a citizen–not some third world preggo who comes to drop a kid and receive benefits forever.
“You know the phrase ‘Nice place to visit, but I wouldn’t wanna live there?’ Well, I might make an exception for this place… Tucked away in a small harbor town in California lies an island community for which the hum of traffic is a far-fetched thought. In Avalon on Santa Catalina island, there’s even a 25-year waitlist for a permit to own one.
The 3,000 residents have, instead, built themselves a Mediterranean-esque paradise. It’s a stark contrast from the chaotic 12-lane freeways that are commonplace in nearby Los Angeles. Avalon is the only city in California that puts strict limits on the number of cars on its roads.
And even if you’re approved to have a residential vehicle after a quarter century of waiting, you’ll then face restrictions on the size of it. ‘A full size vehicle can measure no more than 200 inches in length (including the bumpers), and 80 inches in width,’ according to the city website.”
Just The News: “The Department of the Treasury on Friday announced that the government had posted a surplus for June due to an influx in tariff revenue.
The Treasury’s monthly statement revealed that the government had posted $499 billion in outlets during June while bringing in $526 billion in revenue. The $27 billion surplus was also the exact value of receipts from “customs duties.” Since the beginning of the year, moreover, the U.S. has brought in $108 billion in customs duties.
That figure is sure to prove a boon to Trump’s fiscal approval and possibly assuage concerns from tariff skeptics about their impact on the broader economy. Trump himself has previously floated the prospect of tariff revenue eventually overtaking the income tax and paving the way for its elimination, though such a development appears a long way off.
In the meantime, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and other top administration officials continue to pursue revised trade deals with other nations in the wake of “Liberation Day.” Thus far, the U.S. has secured significant agreements with the UK and Vietnam.”

In short, I would argue, the medical industry got “too greedy” and effectively killed their “goose that laid the golden eggs” through their conduct during COVID, which was further worsened by leading Trump to go all-in on a vaccine before the election and then delaying it at the last moment, as Biden was presumably a more profitable president for the industry—an approach that worked until Trump was re-elected.

there were always companies trying to get doctors to prescribe their drugs. i remember early on Friday morning I had a doc appt and had to wait because a sales rep brought in coffee and donuts for the staff. she got to make her sales pitch while i waited for my appt –making everyone after me wait for their appts…while the staff sat and enjoyed breakfast. and that was 35 years ago.
once obamacare made doctors join hospital systems, things got even worse. they need to get rid of the big brother approach to medicine.

Marco Rubio Drops the Hammer
By Charlton Allen
Stay tuned.

so we’ve been using these techniques for over 70 years, to create monsoons, but of course, the cloud seeding today is benign. /s

I’m pooped! “Friday Funnies: Isn’t This Just a Pile of …? Your meal is served.”
Robert W Malone MD, MS, Jul 11, 2025
“He ordered a Mountain Dew, so the Coastal Elites thought he was an authentic midwesterner. They never met someone from the Midwest before, but had seen the Wizard of Oz, a film that takes place in Kansas.” -Winnie Psaki, comment on NYP article

They pointed out that the department was asking for more than what was legally required. The state backed down almost immediately, accepting Barclay’s Latin diploma and the translation the university provided, so they could read it.
HSLDA says scenarios like this happen a lot, as government bureaucrats all over the country try to stop parents from homeschooling their kids. But if there’s any fight worth fighting, parents having a say in how their children are educated is definitely it.”

As Beth Brelje noted, the
communist apologistsfact-checkers at Politifact are unwilling to call a spade a spade.

The $27 billion surplus was also the exact value of receipts from “customs duties.” Since the beginning of the year, moreover, the U.S. has brought in $108 billion in customs duties.
mts0625.pdf
That figure is sure to prove a boon to Trump’s fiscal approval and possibly assuage concerns from tariff skeptics about their impact on the broader economy. Trump himself has previously floated the prospect of tariff revenue eventually overtaking the income tax and paving the way for its elimination, though such a development appears a long way off.
In the meantime, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and other top administration officials continue to pursue revised trade deals with other nations in the wake of “Liberation Day.” Thus far, the U.S. has secured significant agreements with the UK and Vietnam.”
