    1. Today in N FL same as yesterday – 60% chance of afternoon/evening thunderstorms, heat index 105º

Taking a load to the thrift store and arranging a pick up of furniture from Sally’s apartment for next week.

Planning to start this afternoon cleaning the bathroom floor and reapplying the color and clear sealer. This, plus writing thank you notes for the memorial donations will take all weekend.

Hope y’all have a good day!

Don’t ‘June around’ too much, Miss Filly!

‘Nobody knows what I’m going to do’: Trump won’t say whether he’ll strike Iran

US President Donald Trump would not say Wednesday whether he had decided to order a US strike on Iran, a move that Tehran warned again would be greeted with stiff retaliation.

“I may do it, I may not do it,” Trump said in an exchange with reporters at the White House amid growing speculation the US could be on the verge of joining the Israeli offensive. “I mean, nobody knows what I’m going to do.”

Trump added that it was not “too late” for Iran to give up its nuclear program as he continues to weigh direct US involvement in Israel’s military operations aimed at crushing Tehran’s nuclear program.

Trump said Iran had even suggested sending officials to the White House for talks on Tehran’s nuclear program in a bid to end Israel’s air assault, but added that it was “very late.”

“They’ve suggested that they come to the White House. That’s, you know, courageous, but it’s, like, not easy for them to do.”

“I said it’s very late to be talking. We may meet. There’s a big difference between now and a week ago, right? Big difference,” Trump added, reiterating that what he now wants is Iran’s “unconditional surrender.”

Speaking later, Trump said Iran was only “a few weeks away” from having a nuclear weapon before Israel began striking the Islamic Republic and that he now wants “total victory,” not a ceasefire.

“I’m not looking to fight, but if it’s a choice between fighting and having a nuclear weapon, you have to do what you have to do. Maybe we won’t have to fight,” Trump posited. “Maybe it will end very quickly.”

The US is not looking for a “ceasefire,” rather “total and complete victory,” Trump said, echoing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s rhetoric.

“You know what the victory is? No nuclear weapon,” Trump added.

He also said it’s possible that the Iranian regime could fall.

“Sure, anything could happen, right?” Trump said in response to the question from a reporter in the Oval Office.

Asked if the US is planning for such a scenario, the US president claimed “we have a plan for everything,” adding that he will be meeting with his advisers in the Situation Room in an hour.

Israel on Friday launched a campaign of airstrikes in Iran to decimate the Islamic Republic’s nuclear and ballistic missile programs, which Jerusalem characterized as an imminent, existential threat. Iran has responded with deadly barrages of ballistic missiles at civilian population centers and military targets in Israel.

However, missile barrages have become smaller as the days have gone by, while Israel has established air superiority over Iran’s skies, acting freely to destroy its targets in numerous strikes every day.

The US says it has so far only taken indirect actions in the conflict, including helping to shoot down missiles fired toward Israel, but it’s begun to bolster its forces in the region, with Trump widely reported to be weighing taking a direct role in the strikes.

Trump lamented that Iran should have agreed to a nuclear deal before his 60-day deadline expired last week. The initial Israeli strikes were carried out the day after the deadline expired.

Asked what led him to go from backing negotiations with Iran to potentially approving a US strike on Tehran’s nuclear sites, Trump pointed to the results of Israel’s opening strikes.

“The first night was devastating, and it really knocked the one side off,” Trump said.

He described Iran as totally defenseless, with no air defense whatsoever, adding that he had since given Tehran the “ultimate ultimatum.”

“I’ve had it, okay? I’ve had it. I give up, no more, we go and blow up all the nuclear stuff that’s all over the place,” Trump said.

But he also said, “Nothing’s too late,” he said. “Nothing is finished until it is finished.” But “the next week is going to be very big — maybe less than a week.”

Asked about Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s refusal to heed his call for Iran to submit to a surrender, he offered a terse response: “I say good luck.”

  2. Elon Musk’s X Corp Sues New York Over Social Media Speech Disclosure Law

X Corp filed a federal lawsuit Tuesday challenging the constitutionality of New York’s Stop Hiding Hate Act, arguing it violates free speech protections under the First Amendment and the state constitution.

The law requires social media companies to disclose their policies for monitoring “hate speech, extremism, disinformation, harassment, and foreign interference,” and imposes steep fines—up to $15,000 per violation per day—for noncompliance. The filing argues this is in violation of the First Amendment and state constitution.

In the complaint, X said the law would compel disclosure of “highly sensitive and controversial speech” based on what state officials find objectionable. It argued that decisions over acceptable content are inherently subjective and not the government’s role. The filing cited remarks from the law’s sponsors accusing Musk and X of having a “disturbing record” on moderation that “threatens the foundations of our democracy.” — Badlands Media

  3. Judge Blocks Trump Administration From Shutting Down State Department Disinformation Office

A federal judge in California has temporarily blocked the Trump administration from shutting down a State Department office tasked with monitoring foreign “disinformation” online.

The ruling halts layoffs at the office—known as the Foreign Information Manipulation and Interference Office (FIMI), formerly the Global Engagement Center—and requires the department to seek court approval before making further changes.

FIMI, launched in 2016 under President Obama, has drawn criticism for allegedly pressuring tech companies to suppress conservative media and opinions. President Trump’s April executive order instructed agencies to eliminate duplicative and unnecessary functions, including FIMI. Secretary of State Marco Rubio followed by announcing the office’s closure.

  4. Pam Bondi Asked to Investigate 2024 Election Results

U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi has been asked by a Republican congressman to investigate “credible claims” that an elections service provider breached protocols during the 2024 election.

Representative Abe Hamadeh of Arizona requested an investigation into the handling of ballots by Arizona-based Runbeck Election Services in several western states, according to a news release from his office.

Newsweek has contacted the Department of Justice (DOJ) for comment via a contact form on its website as well as Hamadeh’s office and Runbeck Election Services via email. — Newsweek

Our Take: In August 2021, Colorado voters learned that the Colorado Springs City Councilman at Large Wayne Williams — who was also the former Secretary of State that mandated Dominion before losing that battle in court — was also senior advisor at Runbeck.

Also his wife (as a County Commissioner) had statutory authority over El Paso County’s Runbeck contracts.

This was discovered by a citizen journalist that found his business card at the 2021 NASS annual conference. Note that his wife recused from the vote on Runbeck funding after the people discovered her (massive) conflict. Was that enough to prevent the appearance of impropriety, which the standard for, and can be devastating to, public trust?

Of course not. But, in my opinion, the elections industry doesn’t care about public trust, as evidenced by their whole-of-industry (and government) obstruction on the matter of US elections. Also, there are similar incestuous appearances of improprieties throughout the election vendor ecosystem across the nation. Public trust be damned.

I hope this effort from Hamadeh goes somewhere. Yes, I understand that I’m probably standing on a rug. — Ashe in America

  5. EXCERPT: “Three years after 19 Americans died in a bombing at a Saudi Arabian apartment complex, then-President Bill Clinton sent a cable that told Iran’s president a secret that the 42nd president wasn’t even willing to tell the American public: U.S. intelligence had ample evidence that Tehran was behind the deadly Khobar Towers terror attack.

“Message to President Khatami from President Clinton: The United States Government has received credible evidence that members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, (IRGC) along with members of Lebanese and Saudi Hizballah, were directly involved in the planning and execution of the terrorist bombing in Saudi Arabia of the Khobar Towers military resident complex,” the 1999 cable declared.

“The United States views this in the gravest terms,” the cable continued. “We acknowledge that the bombing occurred prior to your election. Those responsible, however, have yet to face justice for this crime. And the IRGC may be involved in planning for further terrorist attacks against American citizens. The involvement of the IRGC in terrorist activity and planning abroad remains a cause of deep concern to us.”

    Chronic terrorism and two realities

The communiqué, released decades later under the Freedom of Information Act, is a stark reminder of two realities that President Trump must review as he decides in the next few days whether to commit U.S. military action to Israel’s war on Iran’s nuclear facilities.

The first is that Iran’s theocratic government has waged a chronic terrorist war against the United States since first taking hostages at the U.S. embassy in Tehran during the 1979 revolution. They have claimed nearly 1,000 American lives when Iranian-backed IEDs that killed troops in Iraq and Syria are counted alongside terror attacks at a Marine barracks and U.S. embassies in Lebanon, Khobar Towers and elsewhere.

Some attacks were thwarted, like a restaurant bombing in 2011 in Washington, D.C. targeting the Saudi ambassador to the United States, the kidnapping of an American-Iranian journalist and an assassination attempt against Trump last year that would have only added to the toll.

“When we hear that Iran is threatening, well, we’re going to retaliate if you do something to us, we are already at war with Iran,” former National Security Council chief of staff Fred Fleitz told the John Solomon Reports podcast on Wednesday. “Iran is already committing acts of terrorism, and did a major one as recently as 2024 when an Iranian agent was indicted but got away for trying to kill Trump before the 2024 election.” …..”

  6. “FBI Settles Lawsuit Over Biden Era Cover-Up Of Trans Killer Manifesto – The FOIA settlement agreement is a victory for transparency and open government, but it’s personal for this reporter.”

The Federalist, By: M.D. Kittle, June 19, 2025

ENTIRE ARTICLE: More than two years after facing a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit for playing politics with a trans killer’s manifesto, the Federal Bureau of Investigation has agreed to a settlement. The agreement is a victory for transparency and open government, but it’s personal for this reporter. ‘Did Not Want the Public to Know’

I was a plaintiff in the federal lawsuit demanding that the FBI release the manifesto of Audrey Hale, the biological woman identifying as a man who in March 2023 burst into a Nashville Christian school and murdered three third-graders and three staff members before being fatally shot by responding police.

At the time, I was National Political Editor for the Star News Network, which has done some of the best investigative work in bringing to light the dark mind of a mentally deranged mass murderer despite law enforcement efforts to keep the killer’s motives shrouded in secrecy. President Joe Biden’s FBI, which pulled the levers behind the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department’s (MNPD) handling of the politically charged case, denied my FOIA request for Hale’s manifesto. The file includes hundreds of pages of the 28-year-old woman’s journals and other writings.

In May 2023, Star News CEO and Editor-in-Chief Michael Patrick Leahy and I filed a lawsuit seeking the documents. Star News also sued the Nashville Police Department, joining the Tennessean newspaper and other groups in what became a combined complaint.

We were represented by the Wisconsin Institute for Law & Liberty (WILL), a nonprofit conservative law firm based in Milwaukee. On Wednesday, WILL announced the settlement, in which the FBI has agreed to turn over 120 pages of the shooter’s manifesto and to pay the law firm more than $86,000 in legal fees.

The lawsuit would likely still be tied up in federal court had the FBI, under new management, not agreed to end the Biden FBI’s prolonged fight to keep the public in the dark. FBI Director Kash Patel ultimately ended an empty “investigation” into a trans school shooter who died at the scene and had no accomplices.

“This was a case in which the Biden administration did not want the public to know what motivated this transgender shooter to shoot up the school and kill six people,” Dan Lennington, WILL’s deputy counsel, told me Wednesday on the Dan O’Donnell Show

The trans-centric Biden administration wanted to protect the trans agenda, and, as the Star News Network reported, the FBI advised against releasing information that it believed could put males pretending to be females and females identifying as males at risk. As The Federalist reported, four days after the shooting at the Christian elementary school, Biden issued a statement insisting that “Transgender Americans shape our Nation’s soul.” New York Post columnist Miranda Devine at the time noted that the far-left president railed against “MAGA extremists [who] are advancing hundreds of hateful and extreme state laws that target transgender kids and their families. … These attacks are un-American and must end.” He said nothing about a twisted trans Nashville area resident indoctrinated in hate. ‘Fighting Back’

We learned more about that thanks to reporting by the Tennessee Star, the flagship news site of the Star News Network. The online outlet obtained from a source familiar with the investigation the killer’s full 2023 journal, which paints a picture of a deeply troubled biological woman militantly rallying around the trans flag.

In the copies of “dozens of handwritten pages” obtained last year, Hale detailed an hour-by-hour plan for her attack and made racist declarations that she wanted to “kill all you little crackers” — expressing rage over “their white privlages [sic].”

“Now that we have the manifesto we do know what her motivations were,” Lennington said in the radio interview. “She had significant anti-white motivations … motivations based on her sexuality, other people’s sexuality. A deep hatred of basically western family values motivated her.”

“And we knew that the FBI had this information. They did not want to release it to the public. They withheld it, requiring us to sue them,” the attorney added.

The judge overseeing the open records lawsuit against the Nashville Police Department threatened Leahy with contempt charges and possible jail time in the records leak, charges unsubstantiated by the facts of the case and records laws.

“Journalists everywhere should be willing to go to the mat to hold their government accountable, regardless of the story or who is in charge at the nation’s capital,” Leahy said in a press release. “We appreciate WILL for taking our case and fighting back against the Biden administration’s reckless and dangerous record retention policies.” ‘No Good Justification’

The FBI also agreed to release 112 pages of the killer’s writings to Judicial Watch. There remain hundreds more pages in the possession of the law enforcement agencies. As the Tennessee Star noted Wednesday, its publication last year of Hale’s 2023 journal accounted for about 15 percent of her total writings seized by police.

In early April, the FBI reportedly sent the Megyn Kelly Show 1,000 pages of the trans killer’s writings. Why the agency did so remains unclear. Kelly did not have to go to court and through a lengthy settlement process to receive them. The FBI also sent the documents to members of Congress.

Rep. John Rose, a Tennessee Republican, was able to review Hale’s full writings, according to the Tennessee Star.

“Like many of you, I have long suspected some of this information was shielded from public view because this shooter considered herself to be transgender,” Rose said in a statement to the news outlet. “After having read through the evidence, I remain convinced that there is no good justification for keeping most of the evidence from the public square.”

  7. “Siding With Smartmatic Would ‘Wreak Havoc’ On Press Freedom, Fox News Argues In Election Reporting Lawsuit — ‘The Court should decline this invitation to wreak havoc on New York law and the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution,’ Fox said.”

The Federalist, By: Brianna Lyman, June 18, 2025

    Gavel

ENTIRE ARTICLE: “Fox News warned on Wednesday that acceptance of a Smartmatic motion for summary judgment that narrows its lawsuit to determining how much Fox News must pay in damages rather than whether Fox should pay damages would “wreak havoc” on the First Amendment.

Smartmatic seeks, according to its filing, “to narrow the issues for the jury to a single, crucial question: How much should Rupert and Lachlan’s media empire pay for promoting an intentional falsehood that destroyed a voting technology company and eroded public trust in American democracy itself?”

To do so, the court would have to “grant Smartmatic summary judgment on the liability elements for a defamation and disparagement claim against each Fox Defendant. …” That means that rather than Smartmatic having to prove individually that all 192 statements it alleges were defamatory fit the following criteria — false, defamatory, directed at Smartmatic, and made by Fox hosts with actual malice — the court would rule on categories of statements, finding “as a matter of law that” those criteria were all met.

The filing is part of an ongoing lawsuit between Smartmatic and Fox News. As The Federalist’s Beth Brelje previously reported, “Smartmatic seeks $2.7 billion from Fox in a years-long defamation case in which it accuses Fox of reporting without evidence that the company’s software had a role in rigging the 2020 election. This, the company has said in court fillings, caused Smartmatic to lose business.”

Fox News, in a response brief filed on Wednesday, alleged that Smartmatic “created a myth that it was a highly reputable elections-technology company on the cusp of billions in profit had Fox not orchestrated a conspiracy to smear its name.”

Fox News alleges a court decision in favor of Smartmatic would fly in the face of the law since — according to Fox’s brief — Smartmatic is required under state law to “analyze each of the 192 statements it alleges were defamatory across six shows that covered claims made by President Trump and his legal team. …” According to Fox’s argument, Smartmatic must prove — for every single claim — that the statements were “of and concerning Smartmatic; (2) false; (3) capable of a defamatory meaning; (4) not privileged; and (5) made with actual malice.”

“Smartmatic’s motion confirms that it does not have the facts to support its claims,” Fox’s filing states. “Smartmatic fails to explain how any of the 192 individual statements it challenges are defamatory.”

Fox News’ filing further argues that “hosts and their teams believed they were covering the most important news story of the day. They were careful to inform viewers that what they were hearing were allegations that the President’s lawyers would still need to prove in court.” Fox News argues that a ruling in Smartmatic’s favor would mean that “any time a journalist covers allegations made by officials at the highest echelon of government, it is potentially liable.”

“The Court should decline this invitation to wreak havoc on New York law and the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution,” the brief states.

In a statement obtained by The Federalist, Fox said Smartmatic has “no basis for liability.” “Smartmatic was a failing company that had not turned a meaningful profit in many years and had no real business prospects heading into the 2020 election,” the statement continued. Smartmatic’s external legal counsel Erik Connolly said in a public statement on Wednesday that “this is not a case about freedom of the press.” “This is about a media empire choosing to lie for ratings and profit, no matter the consequences and no matter the damage done.”

In a statement to The Federalist, Connolly added: “The First Amendment does not protect intentional lies. Fox has found themselves trying to justify the unjustifiable — they knowingly lied to their viewers and the public for profit.” Smartmatic also filed a memorandum of law seeking to refute Fox’s response brief.

Notably, “a federal grand jury indicted Smartmatic executives for participating in an ‘alleged bribery and money laundering scheme,’” as The Federalist reported. While Smartmatic was not listed by name, the indictment “targeted ‘three executives’ of an ‘election voting machine’ company” and listed Roger Piñate and Jorge Vásquez. Piñate was president and co-founder of Smartmatic while Vásquez worked as an executive.”

🚨 THE FLAG HAS RISEN – THE SIGNAL IS LIVE 🚨

On June 18, 2025, while most were distracted by headlines and debate, President Donald J. Trump executed one of the most symbolic moves in modern political history at the White House.

➡️ A brand-new American flag was raised over the White House.
➡️ Not on an old pole. On a brand-new 88-foot-tall flagpole, paid for personally by Trump.
➡️ Two poles now stand, North and South Lawn, each 88 feet, each $50,000 – not government funded, but mission funded.

    This was not ceremony.
    This was not campaign optics.

This was 5GW-Fifth – Generation Warfare – executed in broad daylight.

    The Symbolism:
-In traditional warfare, raising a flag on enemy territory = victory, occupation, reclamation.
-In 5GW, symbolism is strategic communication. Actions override headlines. Optics become weapons.

Trump didn’t raise the Capitol flag gifted to him on June 14 (his birthday and the U.S. Army’s 250th).

    He raised a new flag.
    On new ground.
    With his own money.

This was a planting of the standard.
    A claim over occupied territory.

    The Psyop Layer:
    Let’s go deeper.

The poles are 88 feet tall.
    Q Post #88 (Nov 5, 2017) reads like prophecy:

    “Ten days.
    Darkness.
    Scare tactics (MSM).
    Military operations.
    Operators in US.
    The Great Awakening.
    Godfather III.”

    Q88 also references a sequence:
Saudi Arabia → United States → Asia → EU
Military control. Martial law. Rogue missile strike.
    Distractions are necessary.
    Focus was US today.

Today = Flag raised. Symbolic control asserted. Narrative cracked.

88 feet. Q88. Flag raised. Bust replaced. Trump returns.

    Coincidence?
Or are we witnessing a live op?

    The Churchill Factor:

In the same week, the White House removed the MLK Jr. bust from the Oval Office and replaced it with Winston Churchill.

    Why Churchill?

    Because he symbolizes:
    -Wartime leadership
    -Uncompromising defiance against global tyranny
    -Western civilization’s resistance to authoritarianism

This bust swap wasn’t racial or political.
    It was military messaging.

    Then Trump said this:

    “I was the hunted.
    Now I’m the hunter.”

    That’s not bravado.
    That’s a psychological transition signal.

    From reactive → to active.
From defensive → to strategic offensive.

    From optics → to operations.

    The Real Message:

The Deep State captured DC from within.
What you’re seeing now is territory being reclaimed-piece by piece.

    Not with bombs.
    Not with troops.

But with symbolism, narrative reversals, and information dominance.

    The war isn’t coming.
    It’s already being fought.

And today, the flag was raised.

    Not just for show.
    But as a signal.
    To the enemy.
    To the world.
    To YOU.

    Do you see it yet?

    📍THE REPUBLIC HAS BEEN MARKED.
    📍 THE STANDARD IS PLANTED.
    📍 THE HUNTER HAS ARRIVED.

Share this post. Archive this moment. The operation is entering a new phase.

  13. AP – Former U.S. Sen. ‘My wife did it, not me…’ Bob Menendez arrived at a federal prison on Tuesday to begin serving an 11-year sentence for accepting bribes of gold and cash and acting as an agent of Egypt. The New Jersey Democrat has been mocked for the crimes as “Gold Bar Bob,” according to his own lawyer.

The federal Bureau of Prisons confirmed that Menendez was in custody at the Federal Correctional Institution, Schuylkill in Minersville, Pennsylvania. The facility has a medium-security prison and a minimum-security prison camp. Given the white-collar nature of his crimes, it’s likely he’ll end up in the camp.

The prison is about 118 miles (190 kilometers) west of New York City. It’s home to about 1,200 inmates, including ex-New York City organized crime boss James Coonan and former gas station owner Gurmeet Singh Dhinsa, whom the New York Post dubbed “Gas-Station Gotti” for his ruthless, violent ways.

  16. “A Potential Reality IF Israel Achieves Victory: The Environment in the Middle East and Globally Would Shift”

Michael T. Flynn LTG USA (RET), Jun 19, 2025

“What follows is a potential new reality IF Israel achieves total victory, the Iranian regime collapses, and a new pro-western Iranian leader emerges (all very achievable under the current conditions). The geopolitical strategic environment in the Middle East and globally would shift. With this new reality, comes a new set of conditions the Trump administration must consider.

    The following are those considerations:

    1. Israel is fighting a vicious and incredibly radicalized regime. They are after the psychotic leadership, not the people of Iran who have desperately been wanting their freedom back for decades. Israel fighting this war (our war) and not the U.S., accomplishes nothing short of protecting Western Civilization and liberty.

    2. The United States must allow Israel to finish the job, to achieve victory. This then permits the United States to truly execute a much needed and long overdue, pivot to the Indo-Pacific. China is our real enemy. Sorry Mr. President, they are. They’ve murdered hundreds of thousands in the past few years alone with the deadly bio weapon called fentanyl (they designed, produced, then introduced into the U.S.). We MUST shift our focus to China.

    3. A positive U.S. and Israeli relationship with new Iranian leadership, serves to further weaken China. Just the oil alone that comes out of the Persian Gulf is enough to bring China to its knees or to an entirely new set of negotiations. If you think 50% tariffs will work, wait until China no longer has a free flow of oil transiting the Straits of Hormuz.

    4. An Israeli victory permits expansion of the Abraham Accords (a signature Trump policy achievement established during his first term). This is a political and economic means to a very lucrative end where the Arab states work much more closely together, creating 2nd and 3rd order long-term positive effects.

    5. Destruction of the tyrants choking the light of freedom from the souls of the great Iranian people will prove to be a stabilizing effect for the region. This new found freedom is to the entire free world’s advantage.

    6. A clear and unambiguous victory establishes the perception and reality of U.S. global and Israeli regional dominance.

    7. A renewed Iran, led by benevolent leadership, one who embraces humanity and the global family of nations will be a force multiplier for the United States in the future rather than our enemy – a major and epic shift.

    8. Lastly, a relationship between Iran and India could be leveraged. India is a great and powerful, yet humble nation. The kind you don’t want to mess with and clearly want on your side in a knife fight. If this can be nurtured (and it must), this relationship represents another massive force multiplier for the world.

The administration needs to embrace these type considerations and others yet to be considered. President Trump should address these topics and other vital national security objectives with the American people in the near future.”

  17. SMH – I got 2 “Juneteenth” e-mails from my bank and I promptly replied to remove me from ANY e-mail list that referenced that, as well as their sale ads selling additional services. I hope they listen or I’ll have to make a phone call….

      1. Same here – my daughter’s hair was almost that long. After she had her bypass, her hair kind of hid her lower weight. She had her hair cut short and donated it but I didn’t know she was doing it and didn’t recognize her until she was 2 feet away from me!

  20. EXCERPT: “….Justice Clarence Thomas wrote his own concurring opinion, setting the entire expert class on fire. Thomas made it clear that the era of blind deference to medical elites pushing the mutilation of children in the name of “healthcare” is over.

In his scorching opinion, Thomas took direct aim at the so-called experts who have driven this entire debacle. The Biden administration and the ACLU clung to the talking point that “every major medical association” supports child sex changes. But why? Because those associations followed the lead of the scandal-plagued WPATH — an organization that has repeatedly pushed radical policies grounded not in science, but ideology.

“The implication of these arguments is that courts should defer to so-called expert consensus,” Thomas wrote, before slicing that notion to shreds. He laid out four devastating reasons why the Court should reject it entirely:

First, so-called experts have no license to countermand the “wisdom, fairness, or logic of legislative choices.”

Second, contrary to the representations of the United States and the private plaintiffs, there is no medical consensus on how best to treat gender dysphoria in children.

Third, notwithstanding the alleged experts’ view that young children can provide informed consent to irreversible sex-transition treatments, whether such consent is possible is a question of medical ethics that States must decide for themselves.

Fourth, there are particularly good reasons to question the expert class here, as recent revelations suggest that leading voices in this area have relied on questionable evidence, and have allowed ideology to influence their medical guidance.

“Taken together, this case serves as a useful reminder that the American people and their representatives are entitled to disagree with those who hold themselves out as experts,” he said.

And then Thomas went for the kill. “The views of self-proclaimed experts do not ‘shed light on the meaning of the Constitution,’” he wrote. Thus, whether ‘major medical organizations’ agree with the result of Tennessee’s democratic process is irrelevant.”

Translation: The American people don’t have to bow to activists in lab coats.

This decision is a turning point. The Supreme Court told the expert class that they don’t get to play God with children’s bodies, and Justice Thomas reminded us all why we should never again trust ideologues who put radical gender ideology ahead of medical ethics and basic decency.

The Supreme Court affirmed sanity, challenging “expert” narratives. Now more than ever, we need voices that stand firm.”
