Morning All!
we had a raccoon or two on the deck last night. they turned over the ant traps (so the liquid is running on the deck and pooped in multiple areas. sigh…
hubby will set the trap tonight.
on the other hand it’s cloudy out there again…looks like rain. sigh

Good morning, Pat! Damned raccoons! No redeeming social value whatsoever!!! The rain passed us by w/bright sunshine again today, temp already up to 70. More possible chances next week but who knows?!?
Another day w/more craziness….sigh….I’m so sick of war!!! On the same token…..it wouldn’t bother me overly much to see Tehran blown off the face of the map….except the Iranian people who really do prefer secular governance & have no choice – they are victims, too.
I called Jason to come and mow and found that HE just got out of the hospital after a bad bout of shingles….sigh… I’m betting he got the vaccine and now he’ll be having to deal with it regularly. I told him to take his time, whenever he felt up to it, today, tomorrow, whenever, and asked if Christina could water my plants.
Since I’m finding myself able to eat more, Gage is coming up tomorrow evening to do some shopping for me. I had asked him to come up w/in the “next couple of days,” totally forgetting about Father’s Day and he said he was fairly sure his GF would be a tad upset if he missed that! And rightfully so! Not to mention the 3 kids, who simply adore him.

Morning Filly!
I am sick of war talk as well.
i remember when we got married, my father had just developed a terrible case of shingles and we told him he needn’t wear his tux (late June and it was HOT) but he did anyway. no one knew he was miserable though–smiling, joking, I miss him!
yeah it IS Father’s day this weekend…gees that came fast!

/1🚨BREAKING: AFL SUES MARICOPA COUNTY TO STOP ILLEGAL ELECTION POWER GRAB🚨
Maricopa County is trying to unlawfully seize control of election operations in Arizona.
AFL just filed a lawsuit to stop this illegal election interference.
🧵👇 Image
/2 AFL filed the lawsuit against the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors on behalf of Maricopa County Recorder Justin Heap.
The board is attempting to unlawfully seize control of election operations by refusing to give Recorder Heap the resources he needs to fulfill his statutory duty to administer elections.Image
/3 Arizona law requires the board to fully fund the recorder’s necessary expenses.
Despite this, the board recently passed a budget that permanently transfers the recorder’s key statutory duties to itself and underfunds the recorder’s office.
/4 After Recorder Heap took office in January, the board:
➡️ Removed nearly all of his election-related IT staff
➡️ Took possession of his office’s voter registration systems and websites
➡️ Denied his office access to designated office and warehouse space
➡️ Withheld county-owned equipment needed to conduct early voting
/5 The board’s unlawful actions threaten the administration of elections on July 15, September 23, and November 4, 2025.
Unless this issue is resolved quickly, those elections could be unlawfully administered.
/6 AFL’s lawsuit asks the court for declaratory and injunctive relief to compel the board to comply with Arizona law and fulfill its statutory obligations.
/7 This is the latest in a series of legal actions AFL has taken to restore election integrity in Arizona.
AFL has sued Arizona’s county recorders and compelled them to work with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to identify and remove illegal aliens from voter rolls.
/8 AFL also sued Arizona Secretary of State Adrian Fontes and forced him to release a list of 218,000 registered voters who had not provided proof of U.S. citizenship.
/9 AFL urges the court to order the board to immediately restore necessary funding and critical resources to the recorder’s office.
/10 AFL will continue fighting to restore election integrity in Arizona and ensure our nation’s elections are lawfully administered.

“War Results When Political Leaders Fail — THIS IS FAR FROM OVER”
Michael T. Flynn LTG USA (RET), Jun 12, 2025
ATTENTION:
Israeli Defense Forces targets and current SITREP.
Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) are targeting:
1. Top Iranian political and science officials.
2. There are reports of incoming Iranian ballistic missiles inbound to Israel.
3. Top Iranian nuclear sites are being hit in Iran.
4. IDF targeting nuclear research facility reactors. Destruction of these reactors do not pose the danger major Nuclear plants do. This is where Iran uranium enrichment takes place.
5. In Iraq BIAP (Bagdad International Airport) is reportedly being hit as well and Iraq is closing its airspace. Hitting BIAP is most likely hitting Iranian military personal in Iraq (why are they there?)
6. Iranian Chief of Staff KIA (see photo below).
Intelligence suggests The ENTIRE Iranian general staff, including the head of the general staff of the military and several senior Iranian nuclear scientists “ALL eliminated”.
Enough for now. Daybreak is occurring, target damage assessment as well as massive diplomatic fallout will play out in the hours and days ahead. This is far from over.
Action, reaction, counteraction.
War results when political leaders fail. The United States of America cannot get mixed down in another Middle East war. China is eating our lunch and we have to get America back to fighting strength.
——————–
“Middle East Update — WAR IS NOT FREE”
Michael T. Flynn LTG USA (RET), Jun 13, 2025
“First, a reminder about war…it is NOT FAIR, it is NOT FREE, & the longer it takes, EVERYONE LOSES. Lastly, speaking for myself, I am anti-stupid war (not anti-war). However, when a nation’s leadership (Iran) calls for the annihilation of another nation (Israel and America), there will eventually be a price paid. I must say, Israel showed not only great restraint & patience over many years to make this monumental decision to conduct this decisive & very strategic offensive series of strikes but a level of military prowess & capability that is historically without par.
As of June 13, 2025, Israel has launched a large-scale military operation named Operation Rising Lion against Iran, targeting its nuclear facilities, ballistic missile programs, and key military and scientific leadership. The operation began in the early morning hours of June 13, with airstrikes reported across Tehran and other cities, hitting Iran’s main uranium enrichment facility in Natanz, nuclear weaponization programs, and military infrastructure.
Notable casualties include Maj. Gen. Hossein Salami, head of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), and Fereydoun Abbasi, former head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization, among other senior officials. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) stated the strikes were preemptive, based on intelligence that Iran was close to producing a nuclear weapon, with enough enriched uranium for up to 15 bombs within days. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu described the operation as ongoing, aimed at neutralizing Iran’s nuclear threat and defending Israel’s survival, while also claiming to protect regional allies from Iranian aggression.
Iran has responded with over 100 drones launched toward Israel, according to the IDF, though no significant retaliatory missile strikes have been confirmed as of 04:35 AM Israel time. Iranian media reported explosions in Tehran, with airbases closed and leadership convening to discuss retaliation. Iran’s air defenses, already weakened by prior Israeli strikes in October 2024, which destroyed all four S-300 systems, have left the country vulnerable.
Iran’s Defense Minister had previously warned of counterstrikes on U.S. bases in the region if attacked, but no such actions have been reported yet. Iran’s leadership, including Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, has historically vowed strong responses to Israeli actions, though some sources suggest Iran may opt for “strategic patience” to assess damage before retaliating, as seen in past delays following major attacks.
The strikes follow months of escalating tensions, including Iran’s missile attacks on Israel in April and October 2024 (Operation True Promise 1 and 2) & the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran in July 2024, which Iran attributed to Israel.
Israel’s actions are driven by concerns over Iran’s nuclear advancements, with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) declaring Iran non-compliant in June 2025 for accelerating uranium enrichment to 60%, close to weapons-grade, & possessing enough material for multiple bombs. U.S.-Iran nuclear talks, ongoing since April 2025, have stalled, with Iran rejecting demands to halt enrichment, prompting Israel to act unilaterally. The U.S. has not provided offensive support, though it may assist in defending Israel against retaliation, as it did in 2024.
The situation remains volatile, with risks of a broader regional conflict. Iran’s weakened proxies (HB & Hamas) & degraded military capabilities limit its immediate response options, but its long-range missile technology, capable of reaching 3,000 km, poses a threat to Israel & potentially Europe. Social media posts on X reflect anxiety among Iranians, with some expressing fears of war, though these sentiments are not conclusive. The international community (esp, China & Germany), has urged de-escalation.”

SMDH – here we go again!!!!
Just The News: “A federal judge on Friday blocked President Trump’s executive order requiring proof of citizenship for elections. Judge Denise J. Casper, of the U.S. District Court in Massachusetts, an Obama appointee, said U.S. states have a likelihood of success in their legal challenges to the order, The Associated Press reported.
“The Constitution does not grant the President any specific powers over elections,” Casper wrote in her ruling. She also said that regarding citizenship, “There is no dispute (nor could there be) that U.S. citizenship is required to vote in federal elections and the federal voter registration forms require attestation of citizenship.”
Casper cited the states’ arguments that the requirements would burden them with “significant efforts and substantial costs” to update procedures.
In April, the GOP-led House passed the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act again, which would require documentary proof of U.S. citizenship when registering to vote for federal elections.
Trump issued the executive order in March that includes the requirement that only U.S. citizens vote in federal elections, offers assistance to states with maintaining voter rolls, and makes improvements in the Election Assistance Commission.
The president also ordered the attorney general to prosecute election crimes, take action against states that accept absentee ballots for federal elections after Election Day, and ensure that foreign nationals do not donate to federal elections or that organizations that receive federal funds do not engage in lobbying.
The order additionally mentions the rescinding of “Bidenbucks” – the former Biden administration’s apparent effort to have federal agencies partner with private groups in get-out-the-vote efforts.
In April, Democratic attorneys general in 19 states filed a lawsuit over the order, arguing against some of its aspects, including enforcing documentary proof of citizenship to register to vote and ensuring that states accept absentee ballots for federal elections after Election Day.”

“Standing For America”
Newsletter | June 12, 2025
“Perhaps it’s not surprising at this point that the worst America has to offer — the resentful and the cowardly, the angry and the corrupt — are plotting to foment chaos across our great country with plans for a nationwide riot this Saturday, June 14 – National Flag Day, the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army, and President Trump’s birthday.
The violence that began in Los Angeles last week, as rioters took to the streets to destroy property and threaten law-abiding citizens and law enforcement officers, has spread to New York, Chicago, Seattle, and Portland, among others. The purpose of the protests is to thwart Trump’s central campaign promise, which is indeed the cornerstone of his second term: to deport the tens of millions of foreigners who entered America illegally. Granted, there were many accomplices to their crime, like the human traffickers who pushed them into our country.
More importantly, there are the political officials who incentivized their crime by promising them healthcare, welfare, housing, and other freebies. Free for them, that is, and a great economic and political benefit to the corrupt ruling class that brought them here to suppress American wages and replace an electorate consisting of free-born men and women with a cohort of clients. But it costs us dearly, not just in dollars but in dignity, too.
You don’t have to live in Los Angeles or New York to resent how those two great American cities have been turned into squalid third-world cesspools where women and children can’t walk the streets safely. That’s not how life is supposed to be in the greatest country in the world.
And you don’t have to work in construction or other working-class industries to lament how your neighbors, fellow Americans, are getting poorer or outright losing their jobs to foreign workers. Nor do you have to vote Republican to hate how the electorate is being re-shaped by people who don’t deserve to vote because they came here illegally. None of it’s fair or right — none of it’s American.
And that’s why we elected Donald Trump — to help us get back our country, to make America great again. So we stand with him against the mobs backed by the political and corporate establishment, and we stand with him against the media attacking him for doing what’s right for America. And we stand with our first responders, the police and firefighters, and emergency medical teams tasked to protect our homes and businesses, and families, as well as the National Guard and regular military units deployed to quell the violence and restore our peace. We stand with and for the greatness of America – today and every day!”

Will someone remind me tomorrow to put out my flag? Just in case my fog brain sends it into never-never-land!
“Celebrate The Symbol Of Freedom Around The World”
“The American Flag is the symbol of freedom around the world.
On Saturday, June 14, 2025, America celebrates National Flag Day. It was officially designated as such in 1949 by Congress, but its origins date back to 1777, when the Second Continental Congress adopted the flag’s original design. The commemorative date was established in 1916, when President Woodrow Wilson issued a proclamation declaring June 14th Flag Day.
Whenever patriots see the flag, it stirs strong emotions of belonging, duty, and home. Think of your favorite image of the American flag. For many, it’s the picture of the six battle-hardened Marines hoisting Old Glory atop a hill at Iwo Jima. Or maybe it’s when Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin planted the stars and stripes on the moon to commemorate that it was Americans who took that giant leap for mankind in July 1969.
Walk through any neighborhood where houses are flying the American Flag, and you know you’re in a good place where fellow patriots are fiercely proud of their country and cherish God’s blessings of freedom and liberty upon this land.
In hard times, the sight of the American Flag stiffens our spines and inspires us to keep fighting and never surrender to thugs and criminals who deface the Flag.
Remember that the American Flag stands for one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. On Saturday, wave the Flag at your home and business, knowing that it is the symbol of freedom around the world. Long may she wave, here in the land of the free and the home of the brave.’”

“America’s Future Files SCOTUS Brief to Fight for Separation of Powers in America”
“On Monday, June 9, 2025, America’s Future filed an amicus brief in the Supreme Court of the United States in Trump v American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE), AFL-CIO, et al., et al., Dkt. No. 24A1174. The public docket in this case is located here.
Our brief was filed in support of the government and its request for a stay of an injunction ordered by a federal district court judge out of the Northern District of California. The injunction at issue prevents enforcement of Executive Order(EO) 14210, called “Implementing the President’s ‘Department of Government Efficiency’ Workforce Optimization Initiative” ( the “Workforce EO). President Trump signed the EO on February 11, 2025. It provides, in relevant part, that…
Agency Heads shall promptly undertake preparations to initiate large-scale reductions in force (RIFs), consistent with applicable law….All offices that perform functions not mandated by statute or other law shall be prioritized in the RIFs…Within 30 days of the date of this order, Agency Heads shall submit to the Director of the Office of Management and Budget a report that identifies any statutes that establish the agency, or subcomponents of the agency, as statutorily required entities. The report shall discuss whether the agency or any of its subcomponents should be eliminated or consolidated.
The Workforce EO did not specify any numeric or percentage-based requirements for federal agencies to meet. It repeatedly instructed that any reductions to be recommended should be made “consistent with applicable law,” and its text specifically allowed exceptions, stating,
The Director of OPM may grant exemptions from this order where those exemptions are otherwise necessary….
The purpose of the EO is to reduce the waste, fraud, and abuse of taxpayer dollars that has pervaded our federal government for decades. Although common sense dictates that no reasonable person would fight against its implementation, there is a faction of politicians, attorneys, and “never-Trumpers” in America that are determined to prevent President Trump from carrying out the will of the people, the job that Americans elected him to accomplish.
To this end, on April 28, 2025, plaintiff employee unions, organizations, cities, and counties filed a massive suit naming, as defendants, President Trump along with more than 20 federal government departments and department heads. The district court for the Northern District of California granted a Temporary Restraining Order on May 9, 2025, followed up by a preliminary injunction on May 22, 2025. A divided Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals panel denied the government’s motion to stay the lower court’s injunction leading the government to apply to the SCOTUS for an emergency stay.
Under normal circumstances, an EO attempting to save millions, perhaps billions, of taxpayer funds that are wasted unnecessarily by a bloated government would be applauded by all and no federal court would interfere based on our core doctrine of Separation of Powers. Unfortunately, we do not live under “normal circumstances” and the politicalization of the judiciary permeates in front of our eyes. Activist judges are as bad as the politicians and lawyers they take their marching orders from – issuing absurd court orders with a single aim of preventing good American governance by President Trump and his team. It is a sad state of affairs. As explained in the brief,
it is surprising that a federal judge would enjoin the President from reducing a bloated workforce in order to make government more efficient. The Federal Budget for FY 2025 shows a deficit of $1.865 trillion, or 27 percent of federal spending. There is no principle of law that federal employment provides a lifetime sinecure which must be spared from downsizing, but one has been invented by a district court judge.
From the moment the district court issued its TRO on May 2, 2025, virtually all of the efforts of the elected President of the United States to reorganize and reduce the federal workforce has been halted in their tracks by one unelected federal district judge in San Francisco. For over five weeks — 10 percent of the first year President Trump will be in office — this action has enjoined even planning for agency reorganizations and staff reductions.
For this period, one district court judge has negated the Constitution’s vesting and take care clauses, which provide: ‘The executive Power shall be vested in a President of the United States of America,’ and ‘he shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed….’ Article II, Sections 1 and 3.
Making matters worse, the district court refused to stay the injunction pending appeal, as has the Ninth Circuit. Every day that this injunction stays in place, those who favor using federal judicial power to impede this President’s policy choices win by running out the clock until the next presidential election.
There is a dire need for America’s judiciary to cabin its conduct respective of the Constitution, employing judicial restraint and neutrality. The legal doctrine of Separation of Powers serves to ensure the survival of our Constitutional Republic by preventing each of our three branches from swallowing any other. For these reasons and others, as set forth in our brief, the SCOTUS should stay the district court’s injunction.”

North Korea Stopped Border Loudspeaker Broadcasts – Seoul
Our Take: Yesterday, we reported on how the new South Korean president has called for a de-escalation with the North, ending its psychological warfare operations. North Korea responded initially by playing soothing, calming music, then turning it off entirely.
Thus ends the Poop Balloon Wars, arguably the most epic skirmish of the entire Great Awakening. Never again will we see a trash bag full of cigarette buds and dirty diapers used to bring down an entire CIA-backed regime.

“UPDATE ON THE WAR IN EASTERN EUROPE (THE OTHER WAR)ATTENTION!”
Michael T. Flynn LTG USA (RET), Jun 13, 2025
“My overall assessment is that this war falls into the category of stupid war. It is costly in terms of human lives & for the people of the U.S., it has cost us over $500B (yes, that is a capital B!) So much destruction & several 3rd/4th order consequences that have potential existential long-term consequences for America.
That said, looking back before looking forward, we totally screwed up by not bringing Russia into a Eurasian hemisphere post the collapse of the former Soviet Union. Not only a massively strategic & costly error but the political warmongers in our CIA & other components of the national security & M-I complexes along with many puppets in Congress over decades have led America into the “valley of the shadow of death,” a virtual abyss with grave historical consequences.
So many lies, so much deception, so many monumental mistakes by so-called political & diplomatic experts. The only thing they are expert at is continuing to promote more war & driving potential partners & allies into the arms of our most dangerous adversaries.
So what:
Ukraine is experiencing a security & military collapse (never mind a totally corrupt govt).
That said, the catastrophic shortage of personnel within Ukraine’s Armed Forces has reached a breaking point. It is a desperate situation. It exposes a hollowing out of Ukraine’s military & security apparatus. The Ukrainian military leaders remaining are now having to throw their very best troops into conventional roles. Something unheard of in the past. This along with many other indicators of weakened political leaders & a devastated military are only outmatched by a civilian population that is weary and wants this madness to end. They are tired of the destruction, death & their children’s and nation’s future.
Key Perspectives:
1. Severe manpower Crisis
2. Morale deficiencies across the board
3. Untenable equipment losses
4. Multiple battlefield operating systems (Intel, command and control, targeting, etc) diluted or ineffective/non-operational.
5. Etc.
The long-term effects for Ukraine’s stability are severe.
Conclusion:
A completely new PEACE & PARTNERSHIP approach must very seriously be considered. America must consider what is best for America. We can completely withdraw or we can be the bigger, more magnanimous of participating (LEADING) nations and influence, cause or force the issue of a major outreach to Russia (the largest holder of nuclear arms on the planet) and be prepared to offer and discuss long term guarantees (no more lies and deception).
The larger, more looming question & something directly impacting this war is:
How do we draw Russia out from under the umbrella of China? East of the Ural Mountains, China is already dominating the terrain. Their people are moving rapidly to take over & control massive energy & rare earth element resources. As China also seeks to destroy us right here at home with deviant activities by applying bio-weapons like COVID, deadly fentanyl attacks, subversive activities on our streets. China knows they must have the A$$ to fight a long physical war if one were to break out (until China feels they are able to take over the USofA, they need strategic resources and Russia has those resources).
Yes, Russia is a communist nation, but it has far more history looking west than it does east. There could easily be a global meltdown, and we must stop thinking conventionally and we must stop listening to the warhawks and other “media talking heads.”
We don’t need short term transactional fixes, we need long term solutions that see a 21st century that fights for peace to be the norm & not the aberration.
For all those name callers who will say I’m a Putin puppet, FO! Come up with a better solution.
There are other objectives of what I describe here, but we need to be thinking critically, long-term & what is in the best interests of AMERICA.”

Good for NC!!!!
“A North Carolina legislative commission, led by House Speaker Dustin Hall, is defending our right to know where COVID-19 may have come from.
Hall sent a letter Wednesday to the Chancellor of the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill seeking records of Professor Ralph Baric, one of the world’s top coronavirus experts. Hall requested all records sought by U.S. Right to Know, as well as other documents related to Baric’s lab that UNC has denied us.
U.S. Right to Know has filed a public records lawsuit over the university’s refusal to produce about 50,000 pages of documents mostly from Professor Baric, mostly about his work with the Wuhan Institute of Virology, possibly containing clues about the origins of COVID-19. The case is being considered by North Carolina’s second highest court.
Hall directed UNC-Chapel Hill Chancellor Lee Roberts to deliver the records by June 18 to House majority staff of the Joint Legislative Commission on Governmental Operations. The letter was obtained by the News & Observer.
We are pursuing these UNC records because we believe the public has a right to know where COVID-19 may have come from, and it is not the proper role of a public university to obscure or bury any relevant knowledge it may possess.

Well, my – that was nice! I called my bank to order new checks and the guy who answered (never talked to him before) was looking up my account and said, “Oh, you worked at the Elkhorn Valley Museum!!!” He is very interested in the history of Norfolk since his family is originally from there, too. We chatted about some of the history and I asked for his family name – of course I recognized them! He is like me in that he has a curious mind and enjoys researching. So I told him that any time he wanted to chat, give me a call! Very pleasant fellow! Clearly gay but IDGAS.

“By Promoting Amnesty For Illegal Workers, Trump Is Selling Out ‘America First’ For Cheap Labor — Americans voted for Trump on the promise of mass deportations. He should keep his promise — all of it.
The Federalist, By: Brianna Lyman, June 13, 2025
ENTIRE ARTICLE: “Mass Deportations Now.”
It wasn’t just a slogan on signs — it was a rallying cry that galvanized millions of voters. The promise was the restoration of American sovereignty through the removal of all illegal aliens — not just the violent ones. Americans understand that national unity requires assimilation, and assimilation is impossible when millions pour in illegally and remain indefinitely. The message that won the election was not “Mass Deportations, But Only For The Worst Offenders.”
But on Thursday President Donald Trump posted the following on Truth Social:
“Our great Farmers and people in the Hotel and Leisure business have been stating that our very aggressive policy on immigration is taking very good, long time workers away from them, with those jobs being almost impossible to replace. In many cases the Criminals allowed into our Country by the VERY Stupid Biden Open Borders Policy are applying for those jobs. This is not good. We must protect our Farmers, but get the CRIMINALS OUT OF THE USA. Changes are coming!”
He later doubled down on the comments during a press briefing.
“[Farmers] have very good workers; they’ve worked for them for 20 years. They’re not citizens, but they’ve turned out to be, you know, great. … We can’t take farmers and take all their people and send them back because they don’t have, maybe, what they’re supposed to have, maybe not.”
But sovereignty doesn’t yield to staffing shortages. American immigration policy should never be dictated by the labor needs of employers, especially not in industries built around a permanent, low-wage migrant workforce. And while there may be a legitimate case for limited, legal, seasonal migration in agriculture, allowing a worker shortage to become the justification for lawbreaking and mass amnesty reduces citizenship or legal status to a commodity and the nation to marketplace.
As The Federalist’s John Daniel Davidson pointed out in a post on X, “This is amnesty. … [Trump is] also making a declaration that businesses that openly flout US immigration law (for decades!) will face no consequences. This isn’t how you end illegal immigration. It’s how you entrench it.”
Trump’s retreat is not just a tactical error — it’s a betrayal of the moment. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to correct the crisis created by the Biden administration. Caving to the demands of farmers and hoteliers doesn’t just undermine that goal — it sends a signal to activists and rioters that America’s sovereignty is up for negotiation.
But sovereignty is nonnegotiable. America exists to serve its citizens — not foreign nationals and not the preferences of politically connected industries. A government that does not prioritize the interests of Americans is a government that has lost its purpose. No nation can preserve its sovereignty — or its identity — while permitting mass migration on the scale we’ve witnessed.
When millions of foreigners arrive, assimilation to the degree necessary to preserve America becomes impossible. Instead of adopting the American way of life, many replicate the nations they left, forming parallel societies defined by different languages, cultures, and allegiances, as has happened in Europe and the U.S.
Simply put, no country can withstand the consequences of mass migration. This isn’t about who is a hard worker or who fills a labor gap. If America is merely an economic opportunity zone, then Trump’s concessions make perfect sense. But if America is a country — a real nation with a shared history, culture, and people — then our immigration policy must reflect that reality. No one who sneaks into the country illegally should be rewarded with legal status or amnesty, no matter how useful he is to an agricultural conglomerate or a hotel chain. This is not just a question of identity either; it’s also a matter of national security.
As Alexander Hamilton warned in 1802, “The safety of a republic depends essentially on the energy of a common National sentiment; on a uniformity of principles and habits; on the exemption of the citizens from foreign bias, and prejudice; and on that love of country which will almost invariably be found to be closely connected with birth, education and family.”
Mass migration — especially illegal and unassimilated — doesn’t just weaken that national sentiment. It obliterates it. It replaces national unity with fragmentation and ultimately ethnic conflict. Just look at Los Angeles, where the rioters aren’t waving American flags — they’re burning them, while raising the flags of foreign nations in defiance. A republic cannot survive when its foundations are being eroded by mass migration without assimilation — and it then chooses to reward those very same illegal aliens.
That’s why this moment matters. Trump’s retreat — if indeed that’s what it is — is not a minor policy shift. It’s a signal that the immigration lobby can dictate the terms of American sovereignty, that lawbreakers can negotiate, and that our country is for sale to the highest bidder — the bidder right now being farmers and the hospitality industry. But America is not a business. It’s a people — a people who voted for mass deportations.
Americans voted for Trump on the promise of mass deportations. He should keep his promise — all of it.”

Well, I guess he could have been talking about those who used the program initially then didn’t return home – even so….NO EXCEPTIONS!

that’s true. i am okay with the guest worker program for migrant farm workers IF their length of stay is strictly enforced.

Another one with which I agree! Wrong decision on the Chinese students!
“Trump Is Wrong. America Shouldn’t Be Admitting Chinese Nationals To Its Universities — Regardless of his personal feelings on the subject, Trump must place U.S. national security interests first.”
The Federalist, By: Shawn Fleetwood, June 13, 2025
EXCERPT: “President Trump has regularly cast Red China as the greatest geopolitical adversary facing the United States. So, why is he preparing to allow its rising intellectuals to continue attending American universities?
On Wednesday, Trump announced a supposed breakthrough with Chinese Communist Party (CCP) officials on a new trade deal with the East Asian power. While scant on details, this new framework, according to the president, will include the reauthorization of U.S. student visas to Chinese nationals seeking to study at American colleges — a policy Trump claimed “has always been good with me!”
The president reiterated his support for allowing Chinese students to study in the U.S. during a press conference the following day. When asked by The Daily Caller’s Reagan Reese about whether he is “still worried about the national security issues with Chinese students in the U.S.,” the president acknowledged the potential risks but argued that allowing them to attend American colleges is “good for our country.” [Uhhhh…..how, exactly, is that good for OUR country????]
“Look, I’ve always been in favor of students coming in from other countries. That includes China,” Trump said. “Does it mean that you have to watch people? Yeah, you have to watch students but you have to watch other people also. I’ve always been strongly in favor of it. I think it’s a great thing. … It’s good for our schools, I think it’s good for our country. I’m also in favor of having them stay. I’ve been in favor of letting them stay.”
The remarks signify an alarming reversal of the administration’s stance on the issue as announced a few weeks prior. On May 29, Secretary of State Marco Rubio — a longtime CCP hawk — revealed that the State Department and Department of Homeland Security would begin “aggressively” revoking visas from Chinese students studying at American universities, “including those with connections to the Chinese Communist Party or studying in critical fields.”….”

Sen. Padilla needs to be charged.
The political class cannot escape the consequences of their bad decisions.
That would only further reinforce the idea that there are two systems of justice.
Further, not charging him affirms the idea that physical resistance to law enforcement’s performance of their official duties is excusable.
That will then be reflected in the streets and the question will become “How much force is too much, and up to that point I’m ok.”
You can’t ask law enforcement to do its job under those rules.

I’m finding every day that I am VERY glad I got the cigs out of the house immediately – more and more cravings during the day now that I’m feeling a bit better. Oh, hey! Do they still make candy cigs? That would take care of the oral urge and help put on weight at the same time!!! Well, I found an on-line candy shop that sells them but the shipping costs more than the pack of candy cigs! Yeah, that’s not gonna work…I’ll keep looking – I’d like to try it at least.

“The states with the most international students are California, New York, and Texas. Here’s a breakdown: California has the most international students, with 141,000, which is 12.5% of the country’s total. New York follows with 136,000 international students, accounting for 12.1% of the total. Texas has 90,000 international students, which is 8% of the total.
These three states host a significant portion of the approximately 1.1 million international college students in the U.S. The number of international students in the U.S. has reached an all-time high of 1,126,690 in the 2023-24 academic year. India is the top-sending country for the first time since 2009.”

“In a media session with the Governor yesterday, our buddy Sheriff Judd explained it in the simplest way he could. ‘This,’ he said, holding up the picture in his right hand, ‘is a peaceful protest.’ Holding up the second picture he said ‘This is a riot. If you start a riot, you’re going to jail. If you strike an officer, you’re going to jail. If you stop traffic, you’re going to jail. If you start a fire, you’re going to jail. If you steal something, you’re going to jail, and someone will be stealing your food off of your food tray.”
I think he made his point, but if he didn’t, the Sheriff of Brevard Count certainly did sum up what our Sheriffs here in Florida feel about what’s going on in other big cities.”

Ummm….IDK about this having contingency plans to “invade” other countries, tbh. I mean, seriously? Just wall them off and let them self-destruct – much better option, IMO. We MUST stop interfering in other countries’ business.
“I am so old, I can remember answering the phone without knowing who it was first…not to mention party lines!!!”
“Florida GOP Gov. Ron DeSantis assured drivers in his state that they have the right to hit protesters if they’re trying to get to safety, saying Floridians have a right to defend themselves.“
“We have a policy that if you’re driving on one of those streets and a mob comes and surrounds your vehicle and threatens you, you have a right to flee for your safety. And so, if you drive off and you hit one of these people, that’s their fault for impinging on you.”

i did an open on Camp Century which is a US base we built UNDER Greenland. we were “gonna” store ICBM’s there…but of course, we “didn’t”. details are unclear if it’s still operational…wink, wink.
I do think we should have plans in place in case a rogue army takes over any country. I don’t think we need to do more than have the plans in place though.
why scramble AFTER an event?

Why interfere? If that country doesn’t care enough to protect itself and take precautions, why should we? Not to mention, in some cases, that would be a GOOD thing!

“I got up one morning and turned on the television, and I swear to god they said, ‘The Flynt house is surrounded,’” he told Venice Street in 1992. “It’s all over the news media that we’re surrounded by the feds. There are helicopters everywhere.” Being the accommodating fellow that he was, Hopper wondered if there was anything he could do to assist.
“I went downstairs and found one of Flynt’s bodyguards, a guy who’d been a Green Beret in Vietnam, a killer, a stone fucking killer,” he explained. “I said to him, ‘Is there anything I can do?’ ‘Yeah. Put this grenade in your mouth and run the wall. Or go back to your room.” Wisely, he chose the room.
With over a dozen federal agents outside, Hopper was understandably on edge. “I went to the room, tried to calm myself down, did some more cocaine,” as one does when something like that happens. In the end, Flynt went to prison, and the actor remained in his house until he was cast in the mystery thriller The Inside Man, which necessitated a relocation to Sweden for the production.”

OK, plants watered! Christina came over by herself to do the watering – I asked if she wanted me to pay her today or wait until they do the mowing and she said she could use the $$$. She charges $15/hour and she was here about 20 minutes but I gave her $15 anyway since it’s hot/humid again – and Jason needs his medicine for the shingles and doesn’t have the $$$….which is BS – he works for the City, FFS, and they should provide him with some kind of insurance! Not old enough for Medicare yet; he also has a bad back but works at the grocery store here unloading trucks! I told her to forget about the mowing until he’s better. Funny how you re-evaluate (yet again!) when you hear how poorly others have it. He did NOT get the vaccine but will now, and she is going to as well. I told her what I know about it but they have to decide for themselves. They think he wouldn’t have gotten shingles at all w/the vaccine so….🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️ maybe they’re right and they’ll get a “good” batch.

there is a shingles vaccine…my mom got it years ago. i dunno that i’d trust ANY vaccine anymore tbh.

Yep – that’s where I am now! No vaccines for me ever again. But then, I made that decision years ago when I got a tetanus booster @ the VA. My arm hurt for well over a year, with a lump in that spot even longer. I decided then & there and the shingles debacle w/Mom and the COVID disaster just cemented that choice, not to mention the flu vaccine – my Sis had never had the flu until she got the vaccine – I’ve never had the flu either except maybe when I was a child. She was required to because she was driving the school bus but was able to get a waiver after that.
