    1. Good morning, Pat! Temp was 35 when I got up but up to 53 now & partly cloudy – ha! It reversed itself! Once the sun was up, the wind began – had to take the feeders down. It’s not supposed to be as windy tomorrow, w/higher temps so I’ll probably do any planting tomorrow.

🚨President Trump just authorized the Dept of Defense to militarize the “Roosevelt Reservation” along the US border in CA, AZ, and NM

This means the 60 foot buffer zone on a 700 mile stretch of our border will now be considered military property and troops can seize illegals to hand to Border Patrol

Translation: He just activated the military to completely shut down the invasion on our southern border

Judicial Watch Sues Justice Department for Epstein Client Lists

Judicial Watch announced today it filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Justice for records regarding Jeffrey Epstein, including any records on the identities of clients or associates of Epstein (Judicial Watch Inc. v. U.S. Department of Justice(No. 1:25-cv-01056)).

Judicial Watch sued the Justice Department after it failed to adequately respond to four separate FOIA requests for records concerning Jeffrey Epstein, including a specific request for records “depicting the identities of clients or associates of Jeffrey Epstein.” Epstein document requests were sent to the Justice Department’s Office of Information Policy, the Criminal Division, and two separate requests were sent to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

The Judicial Watch lawsuit references a February 24, 2025, Fox News report, which states that President Trump’s “return to the Oval Office came with the prospect of the public finally being able to see Epstein’s long-awaited ‘black book’ amid inquiries into the deceased financier and sex trafficker.”

Epstein died in federal custody in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges.

The Justice Department on February 27, 2025, released a long-awaited trove of documents related to Epstein. As stated by the New York Post: “But the much-hyped, roughly 200-page document dump provided no big revelations, instead listing celebrities and politicians who were already known to have palled around with the notorious pedophile.”

“Simply put, the Justice Department needs to respond to public demands for transparency under law and release the Epstein files under FOIA,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton.

KIDS WISH NETWORK RAISED $127 MILLION, YET ONLY 2.5% HELPED ACTUAL KIDS

Behind the feel-good branding, Kids Wish Network pulled in $127 million — and spent just 2.5% on actual children. One year alone: $18 million raised, only $240,000 reached kids. The rest? Gone to telemarketers, insiders, and overhead. The charity was blasted by watchdogs, slapped with zero stars by Charity Navigator, and named among the “50 Worst Charities” in America. The mission was wishes. The reality it’s a nonprofit built on broken trust. Source: Washington Times

  5. Good morning, Pat and Filly,

We had a good rain yesterday – to wash our cars from pollen and dust blown by the Village grounds guys when they were edging and mowing and cleaning the sidewalks and driveways for Easter. Tomorrow is Palm Sunday and the start of Holy Week.

Sally had an unusually good day yesterday – no temper tantrums, no complaints of pain until evening when I put her in the lift to move her from wheelchair to toilet. She complained of her left knee hurting. It’s a mystery but rubbing and massaging her feet, lower legs and knee areas helped. If it gets worse, I can use the rice socks heated in the microwave to ease the pain and swelling or put one of them in the freezer to alternate cold and hot applications.

Hope you two Truth Warriors have a great day!

we are getting a rain/snow mix again with temps hovering around 32*. I made several of the rice bags for hubby.
have you seen or made a crescent shaped one? it’s similar to pillows people use they’re flying or traveling long distances. i made one with rice in it for hubby and one just stuffed for me.
I always fall asleep on long car drives and that keeps my neck from getting a crick in it.

    2. Good morning, GA! Glad you weathered all the storms and that SallyQ had a good day – a slight respite but any respite is good in these times. I had planned on working on the lope bed today but it’s waaay too windy and feels much colder than the 54 showing on the temp gauge, perhaps some rain later. Tomorrow, I guess.

dang chipmunk found the feeder on the table and I have chased the dang thing 3 times with my BROOM no less and this thing is NOT afraid of me. I got close enough that i could have kicked the thing off the deck. but i didn’t. instead it runs around to the side deck where it hides under the doorway till i come back it. last time i chased the little bugger (in the rain/snow) i chased it down the ramp. it’s been back 4 times since! this time is ran down the front steps and i whacked it off the steps with the broom!

Maybe you could put some unshelled nuts (walnuts or peanuts maybe) in the same place everyday, away from the seed feeders, and get them trained to it. Then again, that could just make it worse! Ahhh, critters! No one solution works for all!

there’s a little plastic cup in there with seeds in it and the birds were flying in and out of it taking the seeds..LOL

  7. “Dozens of mini earthquakes have struck near a 11,000-foot-tall volcano in Alaska that experts fear is ‘moving closer to an eruption.’ The Alaska Volcano Observatory (AVO) has detected 30 earthquakes in the past week, including several ‘swarms’ which are multiple quakes in quick succession. Officials say the increased seismic activity is a sign magma is rising beneath Mount Spurr, causing stress and cracking in the surrounding rock, leading to earthquakes.

Emergency plans have hastily been put in place for the more than 300,000 residents of Anchorage, warning them to stock up on food, baby supplies and pet necessities as the eruption could disrupt supply chains and lead to delays in deliveries. The city’s residents have gone on a buying frenzy of N95 masks, water jugs and protective gear as they brace for an eruption.

When it blows, the event ‘would be explosive,’ Matt Haney, scientist-in-charge at the AVO told DailyMail.com, adding that it would spew multiple plumes of ash rising as high as 50,000 feet into the air.”

The extreme discounts are a result of two policies: shipping the products directly from China to the consumer, rather than importing them in large quantities, and — according to Congress and other verifiable sources — the widespread use of slavery in the Chinese manufacturing sector, including slaves imprisoned as part of the ongoing Uyghur genocide.

  9. “Bill Maher Breaks His Silence on His Private Meeting With President Trump — You won’t believe what you’re about to hear.”

The Vigilant Fox, Apr 11, 2025

Screenshot with edit from Bill Maher’s Real Time on HBO.

ENTIRE ARTICLE: “Bill Maher just spilled the beans about his private meeting with President Trump on his show, Real Time, describing Trump as “different” in person than he expected. On March 31, Maher met Trump at the White House, arranged by his friend Kid Rock. And it turned out to be a surprisingly warm, candid, and friendly one-on-one conversation.

Maher was shocked when he presented Trump with a list of past insults Trump had hurled at him over the years. And in epic fashion, Trump signed it—all in good humor.

“So, okay, so meet up in person. Maybe it’ll be different. Spoiler alert. It was. First good sign. Before I left for the Capitol, I had my staff collect and print out this list of almost 60 different insulting epithets that the President has said about me. Things like, stupid, dummy, low life, dummy, sleazebag, sick, sad, stone cold crazy. Really? A dumb guy, fired like a dog. His show is dead. 60. I brought this to the White House because I wanted him to sign it, which he did. Which he did with good humor.

“And I know, as I say, that millions of liberal sphincters just tightened. ‘Oh, my God, Bill. Are you going to say something nice about him?’ What I’m going to do is report exactly what happened. You decide what you think about it. And if that’s not enough pure Trump hate for you, I don’t give a f***,” Maher said.

To summarize the meeting, Maher said his mind was blown. Trump was far more self-aware and personable than he ever imagined. “Everything I’ve ever not liked about him was, I swear to God, absent,” Maher said.

He explained, “He’s much more self-aware than he lets on in public. Look, I get it. It doesn’t matter who he is at a private dinner with a comedian. It matters who he is on the world stage. I’m just taking as a positive that this person exists, because everything I’ve ever not liked about him was, I swear to God, absent.

“At least on this night with this guy, Bob, Kid Rock told me the night before, he said, ‘If you want to get a word in edgewise, you’re going to have to cut him off. He’ll just go on.’ Not at all. I’ve had so many conversations with prominent people who are much less connected.

“People who don’t look you in the eye, people who don’t really listen because they just want to get to their next thing. People whose response to things you say just doesn’t track. Like what? None of that with him. And he mostly steered the conversation to, ‘What do you think about this?’ I know your mind is blown. So is mine.”

He explained that contrast speaks volumes—and is “emblematic of why the Democrats are so unpopular these days.”

“I never felt I had to walk on eggshells around him. And honestly, I voted for Clinton and Obama, but I would never feel comfortable talking to them the way I was able to talk with Donald Trump. That’s just how it went down. Make of it what you will. Me, I feel it’s emblematic of why the Democrats are so unpopular these days,” Maher said.

During their conversation, Maher told Trump, “Well, Mr. President… I didn’t like what you were doing regarding Obama’s birth origins. I thought that was low.” To his shock, Trump responded with grace and no anger, Maher revealed. “Just a little smile as if to say, ‘Yeah, I get it.’”

The moment Maher described as the “most surreal” came after the meeting, when he watched Trump on TV—because the man Maher met in person, he says, was nothing like the one he sees on screen.

“Why can’t we get the guy I met to be the public guy?” Maher asked. He explained, “The most surreal part of the whole night was when I got home. I flew back right after the dinner, and I’m in bed watching 60 Minutes from the night before. And there’s Trump in one of their stories, standing at a podium in a room that looked to me like one of the rooms and places we’d just been in.

“And he’s ranting, ‘Disgusting.’ ‘You’re a terrible person.’ And I’m like, who’s that guy? What happened to Glinda the Good Witch? And why can’t we get the guy I met to be the public guy?” Maher asked. “And I’m not saying it’s our responsibility to do that. It’s not. I’m just reporting exactly what I saw over two and a half hours. I went into the mine, and that’s what’s down there.

“A crazy person doesn’t live in the White House. A person who plays a crazy person on TV a lot lives there, which I know is f*cked up. It’s just not as f*cked up as I thought it was,” Maher said.

  10. “Trump Authorizes Military Occupation Of Public Land Along Southern Border To Repel Migrant ‘Invasions’”

The Federalist, By: Breccan F. Thies, April 12, 2025

    military helicopter

ENTIRE ARTICLE: “President Donald Trump signed a memorandum authorizing a “military mission for sealing the southern border of the United States and repelling invasions,” giving the U.S. military the ability to occupy public land along the border in order to secure it.

The directive, released late Friday, allows the military to use federal lands for military activities, including constructing border barriers and using “detection and monitoring equipment” to deter would-be migrant invaders.

“Our southern border is under attack from a variety of threats. The complexity of the current situation requires that our military take a more direct role in securing our southern border than in the recent past,” Trump’s memorandum states. Friday’s memo cited an executive order Trump signed on day one of his second term, in which he “assigned the Armed Forces of the United States the military missions of repelling the invasion and sealing the United States southern border from unlawful entry to maintain the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and security of the United States.”

The memorandum directs the Defense, Interior, Agriculture, and Homeland Security secretaries to grant the Defense Department jurisdiction over federal lands along the southern border so they can be used for military activity. The Department of Defense will have the authority to designate “National Defense Areas” on such land, the memo directs.

Invoking a day-one proclamation from Trump declaring a national emergency at the southern border, the memo says the Secretary of the Interior must “provide for” the Defense Department’s “utilization of public lands,” specifically including “portions of the Roosevelt Reservation” — a strip of land that reaches from California to Texas designated for border security in 1907. The directive excludes Federal Indian Reservations.

Federal land has been transferred to military jurisdiction before — including to the Army Department multiple times during Trump’s first term — with similar goals to secure the southern border and construct border barriers. The creation of the National Defense Areas could allow the government to treat any illegal border crossing as similar to trespassing on a military base, according to Newsweek.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth is directed to assess an initial phase of the memorandum within 45 days of its signing, but is permitted to “extend activities” “at any time” under the memo “to additional Federal lands along the southern border in coordination with” the Department of Homeland Security “and other executive departments and agencies as appropriate.”

  11. IMO, people who say the following need to realize that the FJB administration made it legal for them to come – they can’t be blamed for coming here when they were invited by the previous admin and provided with every mechanism they needed. Yes, they will have to go back but allowing them to then follow the appropriate process under the current law is the right & just thing to do. Of course this does NOT apply to those who came in before the invite was sent out to the world by FJB.

“”For those who think Trump should have handled the trade thing differently, you know, been nicer to our allies and all that like the talking heads are saying. Let’s take a quick look at what happened last time he asked “nicely”:

In his 1st term, Trump “nicely” asked South Korea for a new trade deal in April of 2017. It wasn’t until October of that year that SK agreed to begin talks, and only after Trump plsced a 25% tariffon steel and threatened to tear up the old one.

It wasn’t until Jan of 2018 that talks actually began in March of 2018 until they reached an agreement in principle. It would take another 6 months before an agreement was signed. 16 months from when Trump asked “nicely” until a deal was made. And not until Jan of 2019 before the deal went into effect. Almost 2 years for one trade deal from one country when he asked “nicely.”

It took even longer for NAFTA to be changed.

Fast forward to 2025. He didn’t ask nicely, and now he has 75 countries ready to talk in a week.

Which action got better results? Which action do the “smartest people in the room” think is better? Which action is more likely to keep the status quo and accomplish basically nothing?

Don’t fall for their stupid talking points.”

    STOP SUPPORTING THE FEDERALIST SOCIETY

Did you know that the “New Civil Liberties Alliance”, a so called “Conservative libertarian group” with ties to the @FedSoc

Federalist Society filed a lawsuit earlier this month to kneecap President Trump from being able to impose tariffs and negotiate reciprocal trade agreements with foreign countries?

They are arguing that Trump’s tariffs are unlawful and unconstitutional.

Who funds the New Civil Liberties Alliance?

Leonard Leo, the co-chairman of the Federalist Society, & Trump hater Charles Koch: Two very pro China donors! The Koch brothers also donated heavily to Club for Growth, which President Trump likes to call “Club for China Growth”.

Perhaps MAGA need to stop supporting the Federalist Society, since their record of supporting Donald Trump is far from impressive:

Let’s examine the Federalist Society’s record:

https://abs-0.twimg.com/emoji/v2/svg/1f6a8.svg They didn’t financially support President Trump in 2024.

https://abs-0.twimg.com/emoji/v2/svg/1f6a8.svgAdvised Trump to pick Amy Coney Barrett for SCOTUS, who works overtime to obstruct the Trump admin.

  16. “The Forgotten Cancer Cure Hiding in Plain Sight: How DMSO turns a common dye into a highly potent cancer treatment that’s harmless to normal tissue”

    A Midwestern Doctor, Apr 12, 2025

    EXCERPT: “Story at a Glance

•DMSO is a safe and naturally occurring substance that is remarkably effective for a wide range of diseases including pain, injuries, and strokes.

•DMSO effectively dissolves a variety of medications and can transport them throughout the body. This increases their potency, makes it possible to administer them through the skin, and allows them to target things deep within the body (e.g., resistant infections) that other therapies have difficulty reaching.

•Through various mechanisms, DMSO selectively targets cancer cells and simultaneously mitigates the consequences of cancer therapies. It also brings conventional and natural cancer therapies to tumors, thereby significantly increasing the potency of these therapies (while simultaneously allowing a much lower and less toxic dose to be used).

•When DMSO is combined with hematoxylin (a dye widely used in pathology), it becomes a highly potent cancer treatment, both harnessing DMSO’s intrinsic anticancer properties and directly destroying cancer cells. It is also highly specific to targeting cancers while not affecting normal cells, thereby allowing it to dissolve cancers at doses that have virtually no toxicity to the patient.

•Despite its ingredients being relatively easy to procure and producing remarkable results, this therapy (like many other alternative cancer treatments) was almost completely forgotten. Fortunately, a narrow thread of knowledge has kept this sixty-year-old discovery alive, most recently through a doctor who spent the last fifteen years refining this lost therapy and successfully treating cancer patients with it.

•This article will discuss everything known about DMSO-hematoxylin, such as its mechanisms, which cancers it responds to (e.g., it’s very effective for leukemias along with their associated anemias and can often treat advanced cancers no other treatment works for), and with how to use it both at home and within a medical setting.

Over the last six months, I’ve worked to bring the public’s attention to dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) a forgotten natural therapy which rapidly treats a wide range of conditions and that many studies have shown is very safe (provided it’s used correctly), and, most importantly (thanks to the 1994 DSHEA act which legalized all natural therapies) is now readily available. Since I believe DMSO has an immense amount to offer to the medical community and individual patients, I’ve thus diligently worked to compile the evidence that would best make the case for its rediscovery. As such, throughout this series, I’ve presented over a thousand studies that DMSO effectively treats:….”

  17. “The First Lady of Bad Ethics”

Robert W Malone MD, MS, By Randall Bock, Apr 12, 2025

EXCERPT: “Christine Grady underwrote Zika ethics rules. Her husband broke them. Together, they cashed the checks. Her silence wasn’t neutrality—it was complicity.

Christine Grady, HHS chief of bioethics (now retired, unless she chooses Alaska), and her husband, Dr. Anthony Fauci at NIAID, were central figures during the Zika virus controversy. Grady helped shape ethical guidelines, underlying those for a potential Zika vaccine, while Fauci disregarded them—most notably a 2017 ethics panel ruling against human challenge trials. Her silence during this breach raises questions about her role as the nation’s chief bioethicist.

Under their watch, NIAID willfully ignored a 2017 ethics panel ruling against Zika human challenge trials, pushing forward with experiments that Brazil rejected and that are now ongoing in Baltimore. An additional scandal lies in how the hastily-presumed Zika-microcephaly link became a global crisis in the first place: a fear-driven panic, fanned by Brazil’s media/left (using Zika’s microcephaly threat as a lever to Brazil’s overturning abortion-constraints)—and where Fauci, in particular, aggrandized the threat while dismissing counterevidence.

The Zika scare emerged in 2015–2016 when Northeast Brazil reported a sharp increase in microcephaly—babies born with abnormally small heads—with rates reaching up to 49.9 cases per 10,000 live births in some areas at the peak in November 2015, far exceeding the typical baseline of 0.5–2 cases per 10,000. The Aedes mosquito, a known carrier of Zika, was quickly blamed, and the virus was linked to the birth defect with alarming speed. The World Health Organization (WHO) declared a Public Health Emergency of International Concern in February 2016, and media coverage amplified the fear, painting Zika as a global threat.

A closer examination reveals a glaring issue: the microcephaly spike was almost entirely confined to Northeast Brazil’s word-of-mouth rather than the mosquito’s areas of activity.

Neighboring regions—southern Colombia, eastern Peru, Venezuela, and the broader Amazon basin—saw no comparable increase, despite sharing the same mosquito, the same virus, and genetically similar populations……”
