Happy Birthday Reba McEntire! She was born in 1955 and her tv series is a favorite here at home. I found this article on fame10.com detailing some things I didn’t know about her show.
From fame10.com:
Over the years there has been an onslaught of family sitcoms, but one of the best was Reba which ran on The WB for five seasons and The CW for one before going off the air. Over the years it amassed a large and loyal fanbase who would have been more than happy to see the series continue on well past 6 seasons thanks to its excellent writing and a perfect cast pulling it all together. Reba McEntire proved she really is a comedic genius and talented actress as well as an amazing singer, and was supported by a cast including Christopher Rich, Melissa Peterman, Steve Howey, Scarlett Pomers and JoAnna Garcia. All these years later, take a look back at the fantastic series with these 7 things you probably never knew about Reba.
7. Sally?
It only makes sense for a series starring Reba McEntire to be called Reba, right? Well it seems that isn’t how it started out. Originally Reba’s main character was supposed to have the name Sally, but Reba quickly convinced executives that because of her loyal fanbase from her singing career, calling the show Reba would help fans connect to it. In fact her character’s name ended up being Reba Nell Hart and Reba’s real full name is Reba Nell McEntire.
6. Best Friends

For a whole lot of the show, the basis was on Reba dealing with the fact her husband Brock has left her to marry his young, naive and ditzy dental hygienist Barbra Jean who he had an affair with. A lot of the comedy revolves around Reba “hating” Barbra Jean, known as B.J., while B.J. considers Reba her best friend. Despite all of this the two actresses Reba McEntire and Melissa Peterman really are best friends in real life.
5. Ratings
For all five seasons that Reba was placed in The WB’s Friday night lineup, the series set a new all-time viewership record for any program on the network’s Friday night lineup. Meanwhile the premiere on the The CW on Sunday made it the highest rated sitcom on the network and as a result of its placing before 7th Heaven, 7th Heaven saw a season high of 4.51 million viewers. It also beat out all others in repeats during The CW’s very first season from 2006-2007, and when ratings for the summer drama Hidden Palms plummeted, Reba re-runs were added to the CW’s schedule in June of 2007 and instantly became the most-watched program of the night, and later in the summer the Reba re-runs became the most-viewed program on the CW.
4. The Cancellation
Halfway through Reba‘s sixth season, rumors circulated that “the back nine” Reba episodes, or the final episodes, had been ordered by the network which would have given Reba a full-season order. Then, abruptly in January 2007 during the TCA Press Tour it was announced that the series had been cancelled and there was not going to be any “back nine” episodes ordered. The news came as a shock to fans and the finale garenerd 4.4 million viewers, and soon rumors began that the show was going to be picked up by another network; however, when stars JoAnna Garcia and Steve Howey signed on to new CBS and Fox shows it was clear Reba would not continue on any network. In May 2007, 20th Century Fox TV president Gary Newman stated that he regretted how the show was handled and was sure it could have been a hit for many more years on CBS or ABC.
3. The Switch
Before the cancellation, Reba was already hitting a rough patch that it was luckily able to get through. Reba was actually originally cancelled when The WB and UPN merged into The CW Television Network in 2006. Then, abruptly on May 17, 2006, The CW made the decision to actually renew Reba instead which was when the show was paired with 7th Heaven on Sunday evenings. The success of Reba was more than the network could have imagined as it quickly surpassed hit dramas such as Supernatural, One Tree Hill and Veronica Mars.
2. Eating Disorder

Fans were well aware when one of the show’s stars, Scarlett Pomers, who played Reba’s middle child, Kyra Hart, was absent for almost all of season five, appearing in only two episodes; however, her absence was not really addressed. As it turns out her absence was actually because she had to enter treatment for an eating disorder which had seen the 5’2″ actress drop down to 73 lbs. Pomers appearance drew concern from her castmates when she showed up for filming season five and it was with good cause because Pomers was barely eating and exercising for up to six hours a day in secret. Despite the severity of her condition, once she had received help she returned to the show, and a joke about her extended absence was even made. In Pomers’ first episode back, Reba asked, “Where have you been?” to which her character, Kyra, replied, “I went to get something to eat.”
1. Music Video
Fans absolutely loved the romance between JoAnna Garcia’s character Cheyenne and Steve Howey’s character Van, and as such, the two went on to star in a music video for Reba McEntire and Kenny Chesney’s song “Every Other Weekend.” The two were not necessarily in character, but they did portray a divorced couple who share custody of their children and have to exchange them “every other weekend.”

Good morning! Got up to a temp of 60 already! Just a taste of summer for a day or so. When I opened the patio blinds, I could see Wheezer stalking around the garden beds. I stepped out and called to him and he came running, then sat down 3 feet away and just looked at me….as if to say, “Ok, you can go inside now…..” Putz! Susie Wiles is on Lara Trump’s show tomorrow night so I’ve set it to record. She is quite a woman and the first-ever female WH COS.

It’s up to 69 now but windy again. Just fine – nice and short again. I assume you are all colored and sexy again! I always enjoy chatting with Marla. She’s on a committee with her church and is having issues with contacting people on her “phone tree” who don’t have cell phones. She agreed that people here tend to stick to their own circle of friends, claiming it’s primarily because everyone is so busy w/family. I did have to correct her again on her pronunciation of Norfolk! LOL – then she remembered why. Janyce Warneke came in to go over some things w/Marla for the church. She was the one who dumped all of the Klown Doll Museum documentation on me after her hubby, Lee, died. She literally got down on her knees and begged me…..sigh. She wanted to go back to teaching. She is also having problems with data entry so I offered to help out if I could – depends on what system she is using. I made sure that Marla has my new phone # in case they need anything. No doubt I’ll never hear from them but whatever – I offered at least.

BREAKING: New intelligence briefing refutes Judge Boasberg’s main objection to deporting the criminal aliens of Tren de Aragua.Biden’s CIA officials involved.I’ve seen the evidence that TdA is funded and directed by the Venezuelan government. Why does that matter? Read on: 🧵
Boasberg said TdA is not a foreign government against whom the United States has declared war. But that is a deliberate misreading of the text of the law. The law is quite simple. Here it is, in its entirety:
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That whenever there shall be a declared war between the United States and any foreign nation or government, or any invasion or predatory incursion shall be perpetrated, attempted, or threatened against the territory of the United States, by any foreign nation or government, and the President of the United States shall make public proclamation of the event, all natives, citizens, denizens, or subjects of the hostile nation or government, being males of the age of fourteen years and upwards, who shall be within the United States, and not actually naturalized, shall be liable to be apprehended, restrained, secured and removed, as alien enemies.
The law states clearly that the predicates for invoking the Act include “any invasion or predatory incursion attempted … by any foreign nation or government,” and that “the President shall make public declaration of the event.” Are those conditions met?
The President issued the required declaration, on March 15th. But does the situation meet the other criteria? Is the criminal gang activity of Tren de Aragua “perpetrated, attempted, or threatened by a foreign nation or government?”
An extraordinary article last week by Miami Herald investigative reporter Antonio Maria Delgado provides clear answers. Delgado interviewed a team of high-level investigators and analysts who have been following the Venezuelan regime for over ten years.
The only team member to speak on the record is Gary Berntsen, among the most highly decorated CIA veterans in recent history. I spoke with Berntsen after the article was published. He confirmed that Tren de Aragua was purposely sent to the United States to destabilize our country.
Berntsen said, “The Venezuelan regime has assumed operational control of TdA and has trained 300 of them; they have given them paramilitary training, training them to fire weapons, how to conduct sabotage, in a four- to six-week course. Then they deployed them into the United States to 20 separate states.”
“Remember, sabotage includes arson,” he said. “Many of these wildfires, industrial fires, the Los Angeles fires taking advantage of wind and the local conditions, were started by arsonists. How many of them were paid or coerced by TdA or their surrogates?”
Berntsen is coming forward now because two CIA officials leaked false intelligence to the New York Times recently, claiming the Agency has no intelligence connecting TdA with the Venezuelan government. But Berntsen showed me proof of the close relationships among Tren de Aragua, the Venezuelan military and intelligence apparatus, Cuban intelligence, and the worst of the Latin American narcoterrorists. He has shared not only the intelligence, but the sources, with elements of the U.S. government.
“The CIA doesn’t have the information because they refused to look at it,” Berntsen said. “We tried to brief them about this three years ago, but they were directed by the Biden Administration to ignore it. And now those officials are trying to undermine President Trump.”
Review the record:
Predatory? Yes.
Incursion? Yes.
Invasion? Yes. A light brigade-sized force of military aged men (2,000).
Perpetrated by a foreign nation or government? Yes. TdA was trained, directed, and funded by the government of Venezuela and its criminal allies.

🚨 BREAKING: Trump’s fired Inspectors General just got CRUSHED in federal court. Here’s what you need to know…
1/🧵
2/ The DEEP STATE just took a major L today. Eight IGs fired by Trump showed up to federal court thinking they’d get their jobs back. Spoiler alert: They LOST.
3/ Judge Ana Reyes — a Biden appointee! — didn’t mince words: “I don’t see how I could reinstate the inspectors general.”
TRANSLATION: Trump’s move to clean house was BULLETPROOF. 💪
4/ Let’s be CLEAR: These weren’t random firings. Trump removed 17 government “watchdogs” just 4 days into his second term. These people had covered for all manner of Deep State wrongdoing.
That’s called DRAINING THE SWAMP. 🐊
5/ The fired IGs are crying about it being “unlawful and unjustified.”
But FACT CHECK: The President has FULL CONSTITUTIONAL POWER to fire these bureaucrats. It’s right there in Article II.📜
And even a Biden judge couldn’t find any way around it.
6/ The obvious point everyone’s missing:
If these legal eagles don’t believe the Constitution applies to them, they should NEVER have been Inspectors General in the first place!
TOTALLY CORRUPT
7/ It’s WORSE: Congress WEAKENED IG protections in 2022 under BIDEN. Presidents only need a “substantive rationale” to fire IGs now.
Even that may be an unconstitutional restriction on Presidential power!
These clowns don’t understand the law, why are they “enforcing” it? 🤡🤡
8/ Remember: These are the same “watchdogs” who stayed SILENT during the Biden crime family scandals. Who covered for Hillary. Who let Crossfire Hurricane and Fast and Furious go down.
Now they want sympathy? More like PRISON.
9/ BOTTOM LINE: The swamp creatures tried to fight back and LOST. Trump’s cleanup continues.
More heads will roll. This is just the warmup.

SHARIA WILL NOT PASS!
Texas confronts the Islamic threat with a firm hand.
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has launched a forceful investigation into a real estate project linked to the East Plano Islamic Center (EPIC), known as EPIC City, a 402-acre development in Josephine, Texas, intended to be a Muslim stronghold with a mosque, Islamic schools, and over 1,000 homes.
Paxton issued a Civil Investigative Demand (CID) to Community Capital Partners, LP (CCP), the entity behind the project, to examine potential violations of Texas consumer protection laws, according to an official statement from his office.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio was asked on Thursday to explain why a Tufts student from Turkey had her visa revoked and is now slated for deportation. His answer could not have been more perfect.
Rubio calmly explained to the assembled journalists that coming to the United States to study at a college or university is a privilege and not a right, and that if people come here to destroy, harass, and take over college buildings, they will be sent packing. He uses the analogy of inviting someone into your home. If a guest began vandalizing and destroying your home, you would eject that person.

From the Fractal voter roll scanning team.
Voter ID Does [almost] NOTHING To Stop Election Fraud
Nice try, but it misses 90% of the fraud today – let’s show you
Omega4America
Mar 26, 2025
https://omega4america.substack.com/p/voter-id-does-nothing-to-stop-election
Should Americans have voter IDs in order to vote? Of course.
They should also have Social Security Numbers – and they do – and the anomalous data in the Social Security System runs into the tens of millions of numbers.
Will voter IDs seriously impact election fraud? They will not.
Here’s why, and we are the only ones who not only tell you this, we have the data in dozens of states to prove it.
Samantha is 36. She has a voter ID. She votes from 398 Hilton Avenue – she votes absentee, and she voted from this location for 28 years. That address is a college frat house. No chick lives at a frat house for 28 years.
Willie is 89. He lives at 290 Water Street. He votes absentee – which means mail-in ballot. He has a voter ID with his happy, smiling face on it. We bring in the property tax records showing us Willie’s address is an empty strip mall, with a shuttered JC Penny, where Willie is supposed to live. No bedrooms there.
Then there’s Cameron. She has a voter ID and lives at 1800 Tremont Avenue, Building 17. She votes absentee every year – has for 20 years. Her votes are always mail-in ballots. Cameron did not put her apartment number on her voter registration – so the mail-in ballot never gets to her. Cameron’s mail-in ballot is left in a pile in the mail room for this 800 unit apartment complex because it is undeliverable without an apartment number. A runner – a junkie paid by an NGO – picks up the mail-in ballots from this Madison Wisconsin location as they arrive – always in the same 3-4 day timeframe – and is paid $40 per ballot. Those ballots are brought to a local Baptist church, filled out by NGO volunteers and voted.
[snip]
The solution to election fraud – the one that stops the 90% of it – is either limit mail-in ballots only to emergency situations OR cross check every outgoing mail-in ballot request, against multiple other databases, so they are not going to ineligible – but real – locations, collected by NGOs and voted.
Sure everyone should have a voter ID – our argument – backed by the world’s largest database of American voter histories – 2.7 billion records – is that voter ID does not come close to solving the problem of stolen elections.
Voter IDs create the false promise of impacting – in a big way – the mail-in ballot fraud issue and they don’t come close.
[big snip]
How does America solve the problem of ineligible locations casting ballots?
The solution is reconciliation. Not the kind for people getting divorced – the kind used in financial fraud analysis.
Reconciliation means in every state, their public voter rolls are cross searched and compared with their DMV records, property tax records, Postal change of address records and any other databases that are available.
An Undeliverable Ballot Database is built – right now we have one for each of 24 states running in production.
That’s why we can prove Kari Lake got screwed – again, in Arizona – through mail-in ballots, from ineligible locations – and we warned her a year in advance – in a video you can watch on Rumble.
LikeLiked by 1 person
Agree 100% – just one part of the fraud. It wasn’t so bad when mail-in ballots were issued strictly on a case-by-case basis, with a legitimate reason provided, and it was a more complicated process. A request had to be submitted to the CH, the mailing envelope & ballot were provided and it had to be returned sealed, with the person signing the outside of the envelope over the seal. It’s not like people don’t know the date of the election far enough in advance.
LikeLiked by 1 person
EXACTLY!
they knew what the were doing when they starting sending those ballots to everyone!
make it a national holiday–vote in person (unless goooooood reason), voter id, ballots and blue thumbprints.
you know, in our little town, there are 6-8 poll watchers/workers constantly. they could have 2 checking ids–2 checking the computer to make sure your stated address IS IN a residence, 2 giving you the ballot.
LikeLiked by 1 person
Oh, I agree with that 100% – national holiday and no-one has an excuse. IDK about the thumbprints, tho – do you really think that is necessary? I always have to sign the register, too.

Many of us are concerned about how SCOTUS under the despicable John Roberts, will be treating our President Trump as the bogus lawfare cases eventually find their way to his court.
I just came across Kunstler’s latest and there’s some very interesting info about Roberts’ relationship to none other than Mary McCord:
“So far, obviously, the SCOTUS has not yet come to issue that decision. Many of you worry that they will fail to, because Chief Justice John Roberts appears to be somehow under the influence of the Deep State.
Let’s have a look. Sheldon Snook is Special Assistant to Chief Justice Roberts, and is deeply involved in the day-to-day management of the SCOTUS. Sheldon Snook is married to Mary McCord. Ms. McCord has been a leading actor, via her various roles in the Deep State, in the seditious operations against President Trump since 2017.
As Acting Attorney General for National Security in 2017, Mary McCord, turned James Comey’s FBI jihad against National Security advisor Mike Flynn into a malicious and ultimately unsuccessful prosecution. (The DOJ dropped the charges, which Judge Emmet G. Sullivan refused to execute, thus necessitating a pardon from Mr. Trump.)
Mary McCord was instrumental in the DOJ’s dishonest FISA application to surveil Carter Page (when Judge James Boasberg sat on the FISA Court). Ms. McCord quit the DOJ to become a counsel to the committee in the first impeachment of Donald Trump.
In that role, she assisted Norm Eisen, the Chief Counsel to committee Chairman, Rep. Jerrold Nadler. Norm Eisen has gone on since that time to become the chief coordinator of lawfare operations against Mr. Trump. Mary McCord remains a senior fellow of the Atlantic Council, sponsored by George and Alex Soros. Sheldon Snook remains at John Roberts’ right hand.
Do you find these connections disturbing? Do they suggest where Justice John Roberts may stand in the war between the Deep State and President Donald Trump? I suppose we are going to find out.”

EXCERPT: ““HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. just unveiled new reforms that could transform how this country treats vaccine injuries forever. But before sharing the details with Chris Cuomo Thursday night, he exposed just how bad things really were inside the Department of Health and Human Services before he took charge.
According to Kennedy, parts of HHS were “selling patient information to each other” and actively working against one another. That means your private health data—funded by taxpayers—was being treated like a commodity inside the same agency that’s supposed to protect it.
But it gets even worse. Kennedy said when he tried to access CMS data—patient and billing records from Medicare and Medicaid—he was told HHS would have to buy it back from another branch of itself.
“So I tried to get the CMS patient information, which belongs to the American people and belongs to HHS, and the sub-agencies said we have to buy it from them, and it doesn’t make any sense. There are sub-agencies that refuse to give us patient data,” Kennedy lamented.
This kind of red tape, he argued, is exactly what’s prevented progress. But change is already in motion. Kennedy pointed to DOGE—the Department of Government Efficiency—as one of the major drivers of reform. “We’re going from 82,000 workers to 62,000. That’s tough on everybody. But I think in the long run we’re going to have much greater morale in a demoralized agency,” he said…..”
“….The vaccine injury news broke when Kennedy announced that the CDC is creating a new sub-agency focused entirely on vaccine injuries—a long-overdue shift for patients who’ve spent years searching for answers without any support from the government.
“We’re incorporating an agency within CDC that is going to specialize in vaccine injuries,” Kennedy announced.
“These are priorities for the American people. More and more people are suffering from these injuries, and we are committed to having gold-standard science make sure that we can figure out what the treatments are and that we can deliver the best treatments possible to the American people.”
For years, the vaccine-injured have felt ignored or dismissed, as public health agencies refused to even acknowledge the problem. Now, there’s finally an initiative underway to investigate their injuries and to provide support….”

“Omg this is ADORABLE…Donkey nannies in Italy…”
Strange Sounds, Mar 28, 2025
“Aww this has to be one of the cutest things I have seen today…
Each year in Lombardy, Italy, grazing animals are moved from high pastures down to the plains for late-summer grazzing.
Newborn lambs are unable to make this journey on their own. Instead, they ride in the pouches of a specially made saddle on the back of a donkey or a mule nanny. They are taken down at rest stops and returned to their mothers for a bite to eat and a bit of nuzzling.
This century-old practice is known as Transhumance is derived from the Latin words “trans” (beyond) and “humus” (Earth).
It was recognized by UNESCO in 2019 as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
Although this tradition has become rare, it remains integral to Italy’s agricultural heritage. So sweet:”

“U.S. Supreme Court Takes Up Wisconsin Ruling Stripping Tax Exemption From Christian Nonprofit: The U.S. Supreme Court should overturn the opinion from Wisconsin’s high court and protect the First Amendment rights of all ministries.”
By: Daniel R. Suhr, March 28, 2025
ENTIRE ARTICLE: It’s an astonishing proposition at first glance: the Wisconsin Supreme Court has ruled that the social service ministries of Catholic Charities are not “churchy” enough, as though that is any business of the courts (or government in general) to decide.
The justices of the U.S. Supreme Court are apparently skeptical as well, for they have voted to review the case. On March 31, the court will hear oral arguments from lawyers for the Catholic Church and the state agency charged with administering the unemployment insurance system.
The Supreme Court hears perhaps 80 cases per term, about 1 percent of those that seek review, and many of these deal with issues specific to the federal government. It’s rare, in other words, for a case from Wisconsin to draw the high court’s eye.
Yet this one has done so, and for good reason. Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Superior is an integral part of the Catholic Church in Wisconsin’s Northwoods, the organized expression of the church’s mission to serve the sick, the elderly, the poor, and the vulnerable in our communities, as Christ did and directed his followers to do.
The particular subsidiary programs at issue in this case serve people with physical and developmental disabilities. Yet the bureaucrats at the state Department of Workforce Development decided that because these programs do not hand out Gospel tracts or require Mass attendance to participate, they did not qualify for the tax exemption for religious organizations.
Wisconsin Supreme Court’s Ruling
That befuddling conclusion was appealed up to the Wisconsin Supreme Court, which had to address the question both as a matter of state statutory interpretation (did the legislature’s enactment really mean that the department had to tax church-run social service programs?) and constitutional law (if so, does the First Amendment permit that?).
The left-leaning majority on the state’s high court amazingly answered yes to both questions. The court first found that these ministries were not “operated primarily for religious purposes,” the standard set in state statute, because the organization’s “activities” were not “religious” in nature, for instance, “worship services, religious outreach, ceremony, or religious education.” In other words, living out Christ’s call to clothe the naked, care for the sick, and visit the imprisoned (Matthew 25:36) does not count as “religious activity” according to the court.
Justice Rebecca Bradley holds nothing back in her dissent. She charges that “the majority excessively entangles the government in spiritual affairs, requiring courts to determine what religious practices are sufficiently religious under the majority’s unconstitutional test.”
The U.S. Supreme Court apparently took that dissenting opinion seriously, because its choice to grant discretionary review reveals an initial level of concern about the majority opinion (the court does not usually review opinions that are obviously correct).
A Coalition of Faith Communities Criticizes Ruling
A broad coalition of faith communities from across the religious spectrum has weighed in at the court to criticize the Wisconsin Supreme Court’s ruling. One brief, for instance, includes everyone from the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops and the Southern Baptist Convention to the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America, Hindu American Foundation, and BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha.
Every faith group, in other words, has an interest in ensuring the space and liberty to live out its charitable values, whatever they might look like.
Plus, as the diversity of faiths cited above suggests, evaluating whether a religious organization’s activities look sufficiently “churchy” puts smaller, less familiar faiths at a huge disadvantage. Judges and bureaucrats should not be in a place to evaluate a faith-based organization’s activities by making a judgment call based on a flexible, non-rigorous, non-exhaustive list of potential factors set forth in the majority opinion.
“The rule of law is a law of rules,” as Justice Antonin Scalia once said, and the open-ended “test” set by the Wisconsin Supreme Court is an invitation to arbitrary and inconsistent decision-making. Hopefully, then, the U.S. Supreme Court will overturn the opinion from the state’s high court and make sure the First Amendment rights of all ministries are protected.”

🚨 #BREAKING: Elon Musk just exposed the federal government spent almost $1 BILLION on a short survey asking whether or not people like National Parks
This is disgusting.
“We routinely encounter a waste of a billion dollars or more. Casually. This 10 question survey could’ve been done with Survey Monkey for $10,000. The government was being charged almost a billion dollars for that.,” Elon said.
Wow.

“New German government wants to ban ‘lies’ — Basically, the spread of hatred in Germany is protected by freedom of expression,” said a constitutional lawyer in response to a new proposal to ban “lies” in Germany”
Remix News Staff, March 28, 2025 12:32

ENTIRE ARTICLE: “The new German government coalition, which is likely to be the Christian Democrats (CDU) and the Social Democrats (SPD) is looking to ban “lies,” according to a working paper that emerged from the group “culture and media” between the two parties.
Bild newspaper received a copy of the working paper, which outlines the goal of combating “fake” news on social media, including restrictions on it. The paper from the CDU and SPD indicates that “disinformation and fake news” threaten democracy. In fact, the paper argues that freedom of expression does not apply in such circumstances.
Bild contacted a number of constitutional lawyers, and they are highly skeptical of the law. “Lies are only prohibited if they are punishable, for example in the case of sedition. Otherwise, you can lie,” said Volker Boehme-Neßler, a professor at the University of Oldenburg. Even determining a lie is a legal complexity. “It is not an easy question of what a factual claim and what an expression of opinion is. Most courts interpret freedom of expression very broadly,” he added.
He also took aim at a specific part of the working paper, which addresses “hate and agitation.” He said, “‘hate and agitation’ — these are ‘no legal terms.” He added, “Basically, the spread of hatred in Germany is protected by freedom of expression. An assertion like ‘I hate all politicians,’ does not yet constitute a criminal offense.”
Another law professor from the University of Augsburg, Josef Franz Lindner, said that the “deliberate spreading of false facts is not punishable, not illegal.” He said that if the new government moves forward with a law against “fake news,” it would represent a grave threat to freedom of speech. He said he can only warn against a “fake news” offense being created, saying “Ultimately, it would expose any controversial statement to the risk of criminal prosecution.”
It is also worth noting that Friedrich Merz himself, who is likely to be Germany’s next chancellor, openly lied when he said that his party would support an end to the debt brake. Almost immediately after the election, he said the debt brake would be lifted, and that Germany would take on historic amounts of debt.
Lawyer Joachim Steinhöfel, who has a broad range of clients related to internet censorship, says the CDU and SPD’s goal with the new paper is to “intimidate the unpopular social media” content producers. He said that such censorship already lacks a “constitutional basis.”

ENTIRE ARTICLE: “A dying Labrador named Honey had her last wish granted by kind truck drivers who offered to take her for a ride. The dog came into a local nonprofit’s care after her owner, Gabe, died. The geriatric dog was already 14 and her caretakers wanted to make her last days special.
Street Outreach Animal Response (SOAR) in Indianapolis, Indiana, put out a call for truck drivers who would be willing to take Honey for a ride. ‘If you’ve been following updates on Honey, it’s no surprise that we’ve been anticipating her life with us to be shorter than we want, but trying to remain optimistic,’ SOAR wrote in a social media post.
‘Honey used to ride in a semi truck with her dad in her younger days, and nothing gets her more pumped up than hearing an engine fire up with the question, ‘you wanna go bye bye?”
The post continued that Honey was nearing the end of her life, and asked if any truck drivers would be willing to take her out and stop for her favorite meal, Wendy’s chicken nuggets.
To the organizer’s surprise, the post took off and they received an overwhelming amount of offers to take Honey for a ride along. Since Honey had so many offers, SOAR decided to connect with multiple truck drivers and fill up the weekend with rides for the Labrador.
Kind truck drivers in Indiana responded to a call to help fulfill a dying dog’s final wish
Organizers with SOAR said Honey used to ride in trucks with her owner and she lit up at the opportunity to get back in one.
Honey went on her first ride with a woman named Sharon, a truck driver with a logistics company. SOAR shared a video of Honey getting lifted into the truck and sitting by the driver’s seat as she calmly awaited the stop at Wendy’s.
Another truck driver named Robert Axum also answered the call, telling local ABC affiliate, WRTV, that it was surprising to see the community come together and rally for Honey. ‘I’m a big animal lover and anything that can make an animal happy, I’m all the way in on that,’ he added.
Honey ended up taking three rides from Friday to Sunday and then two more on Monday. SOAR connected with her owner’s family so that they could be there for her final ride.
On Monday, SOAR shared on social media that Honey had died after her final ride. They shared a video of Honey with Gabe and wrote, ‘We wish we could’ve met him while he was here, and it was our honor to serve Honey while she waited to join him. Thank you to our community for all they have done to honor Gabe & Honey.’
The post was flooded with comments from the public praising the organization for giving Honey a proper send-off.
‘I am not crying. I am bawling. Thank you for all you did for Honey and what you do for all the others,’ one comment read.
‘Safe travels to adventures unknown, Honey. I know thanks to people like SOAR and animal lovers who stepped up to support you, you left with a full heart,’ another wrote.
‘Ghost Riders in the Sky. Rest easy, Gabe and Honey. Thank you to everyone who honored the love these two had in such an incredible way,’ a third added.”

Holy shit!!! Talk about scary!!!!
“A babysitter found a man hiding under a child’s bed in Kansas after the child complained about a “monster” being there. While trying to show the child there was nothing under the bed, the female victim “came face-to-face” with a male suspect, Barton County Sheriff’s Office said. An altercation ensued with the babysitter and one child was knocked over.
The suspect fled and was found and arrested on the same block the next morning, on Tuesday, after leading deputies on a short foot chase. The 27-year-old, who once lived at the residence and had a protection from abuse order to stay away from the property, was booked into jail on requested charges of aggravated kidnapping, among other crimes.”

And you think at the time, “I’ll have to remember it’s here.” I did something similar with my sun glasses – when I was unloading groceries, I set them down somewhere & made a note to remember where. When I went to look for them yesterday, I couldn’t remember or find them to save my life! SMH – I have multiple back-ups but they don’t wrap around the side, which I really like. So I stopped at FD on my way home (where I bought the pair I can’t find!) and picked up another pair. Thankfully, they’re only $8/pr but I guarantee you, now that I have the new ones, I’ll run across the first pair – always happens!

“Notorious J6 Jailer Plays Victim: DC Judge Beryl Howell loves to shoot off her mouth when it comes to the president and his supporters. Now she’s playing the victim as Trump DOJ uses her own words, and actions, against her.”
Julie Kelly, Mar 28, 2025
EXCERPT: “As the manhunt for American citizens who participated in the events of January 6 accelerated in early 2021, the Biden Department of Justice took an unprecedented approach in the handling of political protesters: demand pretrial detention even for those charged with nonviolent offenses such as obstruction and conspiracy.
A special prison for J6ers had been opened in the nation’s capital a few days after Jan 6; individuals from around the country were being transported to the DC gulag after being denied release following an arrest in their home state. Judges in Washington were flooded with DOJ requests to keep J6ers, most of whom had no criminal record, behind bars awaiting trial; judges needed guidance as to how to proceed.
So, in stepped Beryl Howell, the chief judge of the D.C. district court at the time.
In February 2021, in another unprecedented move, Howell established what became known as the “Chrestman factors.” Named after William Chrestman, a member of the Proud Boys from Kansas, Howell claimed that “the undeniably traumatic events of January 6” required the courts to ditch the standard practice of evaluating pretrial detention on an individual basis and instead lump all J6ers together.
Howell laid out the “differentiating factors that warrant pretrial detention of certain defendants facing criminal liability for their participation in the mob.” Judges should, according to Howell, determine whether the defendant was part of a group that planned in advance to go to the Capitol; injured or interfered with police that day; or used “words and movements during the riot” that represented (in her mind) “egregious” misconduct.
Over the course of the J6 prosecution, Howell sentenced more than three dozen J6ers to hard time in federal prisons—but not before enduring one of her notorious tongue lashings. For example, she berated a man from Tennessee in 2022 convicted of a single misdemeanor for “engaging in political violence that shook our country.” She also forced the man to acknowledge that Joe Biden won the 2020 election.
After running roughshod over J6ers for four years, Howell now insists she is the victim of an “ad hominem attack” by the Trump DOJ, which last week asked Howell to recuse herself from presiding over a lawsuit brought by Perkins Coie, the infamous law firm responsible for the Steele dossier.
Protecting Perkins Coie Once Again
Perkins Coie is suing the president over his March 6 executive order that accused the firm of “dishonest and dangerous activity” and stripped Perkins Coie employees of security clearances and government contracts. (A good backgrounder here.)
The lawsuit landed on Howell’s desk. Given her role overseeing Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into imaginary Trump-Russia election collusion as chief judge—in a lengthy 2018 decision, Howell determined Mueller’s appointment was legal and did not violate the Constitution, a finding directly contradictory of what Judge Aileen Cannon concluded on the same question in 2024—Howell should have stepped aside…..”

“Lost in the Shadows: America’s Border Betrayal — How 448,000 Kids Slipped Through the Cracks—and Why We Must Fight Back”
Michael T. Flynn LTG USA (RET), Mar 28, 2025
ENTIRE ARTICLE: “I’ve just reviewed a bombshell report from the Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Inspector General, dated March 25, 2025, and it’s a gut punch to every American who believes in sovereignty, security, and the rule of law.
The title alone says it all: ICE Cannot Effectively Monitor the Location and Status of All Unaccompanied Alien Children After Federal Custody. Let that sink in. Hundreds of thousands of kids—448,000 from 2019 to 2023—crossed our border illegally, were handed off to sponsors, and now ICE, the agency tasked with enforcing our immigration laws, has no clue where many of them are. This isn’t just incompetence; it’s a betrayal of the American people.
Here’s the truth: over 31,000 of these kids have addresses listed as blank, undeliverable, or incomplete. More than 233,000 haven’t even been served Notices to Appear for immigration court—meaning no court dates, oversight, nothing. And get this: 43,000 who did get served skipped their hearings. Poof—gone. Some are runaways from HHS custody, including one tied to a murder back home and another linked to a Mexican cartel. Where are they now? Your guess is as good as ICE’s, because they don’t know either.
This is a national security crisis, plain and simple. The report paints a grim picture—trafficking, exploitation, forced labor, even kids turning to crime right here on our soil. Over 600 were arrested after release, one for smuggling more kids across the border, another for stabbing someone to death. And what’s ICE doing about it? Not much, because their hands are tied by bureaucracy. They’re drowning in 7.5 million non-detained cases with just 1,000 officers nationwide. Do the math—that’s three minutes per case per year. That’s not enforcement; that’s a farce.
The real kicker? ICE isn’t getting the info it needs from HHS or other agencies. Sponsors—some unrelated to these kids—are dropping off the radar, and ICE can’t even verify addresses. I read about ERO officers finding bars on inside windows, rundown motels, and gang-infested complexes where these kids were supposedly “safe.” One officer called it “no news is good news.” That’s not a strategy; it’s surrender.
This mess stems from weak leadership and broken policies. The 2021 Memorandum of Agreement with HHS gutted info-sharing—ICE can’t even vet sponsors properly anymore. Legislation ties their hands further, blocking enforcement against shady sponsors. Meanwhile, the backlog of unserved court notices piles up, and the cartels laugh all the way to the bank.
But here’s the silver lining: ICE agreed to four recommendations:
· Revise agreements with HHS
· Fix bad address data
· Clear the backlog
· Update their playbook for officers.
That’s a good start, but it’s not enough. We need action, not promises. By September 2025, they say they’ll have it sorted. I’ll believe it when I see it, and I’ll be watching.
Americans, this isn’t about politics—it’s about survival. Our border is porous, and our children—yes, these unaccompanied minors are children too—are paying the price. Trafficking isn’t a headline; it’s a reality. Exploitation isn’t a buzzword; it’s happening in our backyard. We’ve got to demand accountability from DHS, ICE, and every politician who let this slide. Our nation’s future depends on it.
Stay vigilant, stay vocal, and never back down.”
