Green Jay

12 Facts about Green Jays

1. Males and females look similar.

Both males and females have the same plumage and brilliant green feathers. The ombre of yellow-green, blue, and black is striking. This bird can blend in with light green foliage or stand out against a backdrop of coastal brush. The Green Jay’s head is black with blue accents around its eyes. Small blue feather tufts perch like eyebrows over its eyes. A blue stripe comes down the front of its head and adorns its cheeks. The body is blue, green, and yellow. It has a greenish back, wings, and tail, but the underside is pale yellow.

2. The only place in the United States to see them is Texas.

The Green Jay is a thoroughly tropical bird. Most of their population is found along Mexico’s east and west coasts, and the Yucatan peninsula to Honduras. However, the very northern edge of their range reaches into the southern tip of Texas, where they are considered a South Texas specialty. Green Jays don’t migrate, so you can expect to see them year-round within their range. They will shift around between breeding and feeding sites, however, in order to capitalize on the growing season.

3. They travel in flocks.

Green Jays are the opposite of solitary birds. They almost always live in pairs or family groups that contain a nesting pair, their new young and the previous seasons young. When feeding, the flock can send out a few birds as lookouts for predators. Other birds work as scouts to identify new food sources. Once the young males in the group get to be a year or so old, the adult male will chase them off, forcing them to break from the group and go establish their own.

4. They have complex social networks.

Green Jays are very family-oriented. Most flocks of Green Jays are related to each other in some manner. Once a mated pair’s young fledge, they stay with their parents’ flock for about a year. During this intermediate period, they learn techniques to forage for food, ways to defend territory, and how to use tools. To greet their elders, they call to them and hop up and down on their perches.

5. There are two similar populations that are often lumped together.

Scientists recognize two separate populations of Green Jay. The first, which we are discussing in this article, lives in Mexico and southern Texas. A second group called “Inca Jays”, with a slightly different look, lives in a strip of habitat along the Andes Mountains from north-central South America south to Bolivia. They are separated by about 900 miles.  Sometimes these are listed as separate species, and sometimes the Inca’s are looked at as a subspecies of the Green Jay. These two populations have slightly differently colored feathers. Inca Jays are similar to the Green Jays, but their underparts are brighter shades of yellow. Instead of having blue on the top and back of their head, they have white.

6. They can be attracted to bird feeders with moderate effort.

It’s simple work to entice Green Jays to your yard, but be careful. If there’s one Green Jay there, there will probably soon be several more! These birds are not picky and will eat almost any kind of seed or suet. Similar to Blue Jays, they prefer large nuts like peanuts.

7. Parents work together to raise their young.

Males and females mate for the long term. While it is not known if these birds mate for life, the interconnectedness of their family relationships suggests that long-term partnerships are at least common. After the male woos the female with mutual preening, soft burbling noises, and spending time one-on-one, they build the nest together. Texas populations select brushy thickets and favor mesquite. The young often patrol the outer reaches of the territory, which can reach over 40 acres!

8. Their behavior is similar to Blue Jays and Steller’s Jays.

Like Blue Jays and Steller’s Jays, Green Jays are not very afraid of humans or their developments. While Blue Jays are more common in suburban areas, all three species are commonly seen at campsites and rural parks. They will beg for food and scavenge around trash cans and refuse piles. Other shared characteristics include a broad vocabulary, highly territorial natures, and a tendency to be more curious than afraid. None of these three species of birds is very subtle, either! Blue Jays are known for their ability to mimic the sound of common hawks such as red-tailed and red-shouldered. This can frighten away other bird species from food sources they want for themselves. Green Jays are also known to use this behavior and have been observed mimicking other large bird species, like Plain Chachalacas, to scare away other birds.

9. Populations in Texas are thriving.

Conditions in southern Texas continue to be hospitable to Green Jays. There, they enjoy mild winters, abundant foliage and berry bushes, and non-threatening human development. They are free to spread out in territories averaging about 40 square acres, which isn’t possible in smaller habitat zones.

10. Green Jays are omnivores.

Like crows and blue jays, Green Jays eat almost anything they can get their beaks on. They are consummate foragers, searching for everything from fruit to the helpless nestlings of other birds. Some have been known to eat mice and small amphibians.

11. They prefer habitats near water sources.

Along the scrubby desert coast, freshwater is a crucial resource. Green Jays take advantage of that by preferring to nest and live nearby reliable water sources. This provides them with well-developed foliage to perch, nest, and forage in. It’s also more likely that they will find food sources near freshwater. Insects, an essential part of their diet, are more plentiful near lakes, rivers, and streams.

12. Green Jays are one of the few North American bird species to use tools.

These birds are members of the family Corvidae, the same family as crows and ravens. Their intelligence expresses itself by way of the complexity of these birds’ communications, their ability to work together, and the use of tools. Green Jays have been observed using sticks to lift pieces of bark away from the tree, exposing insects beneath that they can eat. They are one of the few North American bird species known to use tools, alongside their cousins the crows and magpies.

    1. Good morning, Pat! Interesting birds – they don’t look like they get as big as Blue Jays.

Woke up early today….43 outside at the moment, still dark so I can’t see the sky, but we should have some light rain moving thru. Have patience – spring will make it to you yet! I am soooo looking forward to getting this mop cut!!! Had to resort to an old-fashioned head band to keep it out of my face.

My Sis sent this from FB – April 5: “The silent riot has begun.” In the video, you can see a map with protest locations all around the country – The map shows one red dot that might actually be Norfolk, NE. 1. Well, thankfully, my hair doesn’t grow that fast any more. Last time I had her cut it was late last summer, IIRC. But it’s sooooo dry and straight, w/more gray than brown – I’ve never had any natural curl and it’s much thinner now.

  1. Good morning, Pat and Filly,

Beautiful bird, really blends in with foliage. So glad it’s not in danger of extinction.

Weather here 52º – high today 82º – rain expected this weekend.

It’s been a beautiful Spring with enough rain to wash away the pollen.

We have armadillos digging big holes in the lawn areas all around the river side of the Village. I’m afraid if anyone walks on the lawn, they will step into one of those holes and break an ankle. Most elderly around here use walkers and stick to the sidewalks, though. I tried sprinkling hot pepper flakes and soap powder on the grass and it kept them away for a week, but they are back.

Sally is needing pain meds every 5 hours now to keep the pain away and I’m using an alarm clock to be sure I don’t oversleep and let her get into severe pain. She’s having periodic episodes of disorientation, good days and bad days. The nurse said to expect hallucinations to increase and they have meds for that. She doesn’t have any appetite – or express any real enjoyment of food. She’s drinking and eating less – sometimes doesn’t want to eat, so we give her a Splenda or Boost to keep her blood glucose levels steady. She rarely requests a particular food from the cafeteria. This is also normal for cancer patients.

The hospice nurse came yesterday and we discussed when to switch to a hospital bed, and to change to a sling for her ceiling track lift. We have a really good nurse now.

My main prayer is that Sally return to faith and to the comfort of knowing GOD’s peace and love for her…in these last weeks and days. We are having a hard time finding pastoral care. The pastor who was going to come, was so good with Sally, but he is going to have surgery and his wife who was also going to come minister to Sally, will be tied up looking after him. I know the Lord is in control…and whoever is supposed to come, will be the right one.

Thanks so much for your prayers and encouragement!

🧵Some more thoughts on decision denying stay that I discussed broadly below. Judge Henderson made a fatal flaw: She concluded government wasn’t likely to succeed on appeal ONLY by assuming Plaintiffs could bring an APA claim. They cannot. 1/
    Unroll available on Thread Readerhttps://twitter.com/ProfMJCleveland/status/1904986413747294257

    Image
2/ As Judge Walker properly notes, APA ONLY provides for review when “no other adequate remedy in a court,” and here as Plaintiffs admitted, they could have sued in habeas. SO, bottom line is Plaintiffs aren’t likely to prevail on APA claims.Image
3/ Judge Henderson completely ignore that problem, and instead, again, presumed such a claim. Why? My gut is because she a) questioned whether Alien Enemies Act applies to tDa and b) because she saw the harm as soooo irreparable. Image
4/ But what about other legal claims? Well several deal with immigration issues and case law is clear that you can’t go to a federal district court FIRST and when you do it’s habeas. What about “due process” and “ultra vires”? Well, those also “sound” in habeas & Henderson
5/5 never addressed if you could sue for such claims. At this point, Trump Administration should file a Motion to Dismiss the claims and turn the table on Plaintiffs.
6/ Also, given the 1-1-1 decision and Judge Henderson’s (misplaced) assumption re the APA claims being valid and that the order really doesn’t have much direct impact currently, I don’t think Trump Administration seeks to appeal now but instead files Motion to Dismiss arguing
7/ Plaintiffs cannot state a claim for various violations: APA claims fail because alternative remedy; various immigration claims fail because they need to seek withholding of removal/asylum from INS & then habeas; due process fails b/c due process available through habeas/
8/8 and because it sounds in habeas; ultra vires fails because no common law ultra vires where you can bring habeas. Bottom line all claims but habeas fail and dismissal required. If court denies then Trump could seek to appeal interlocutorily along with PI.

  3. National Diversity Council gets looted–by it’s grifter director…what are the odds?/sarc
    FTA
A prominent diversity, equity, and inclusion nonprofit declared bankruptcy this month after its board accused its founder and top employees of stealing millions of dollars, a Daily Wire investigation found. Bill Clinton and Oprah Winfrey are set to keynote a conference run by the alleged thief, apparently through his for-profit firm, next month.

The National Diversity Council filed for bankruptcy on March 17 after its board said in a lawsuit that its founder R. Dennis Kennedy “improperly paid himself millions of dollars from NDC’s donor funds.” The suit said Kennedy “paid himself a grossly excessive salary” while using the nonprofit as a front for his for-profit diversity consulting business called Diversity & Leadership Inc (D&L).

The group’s 2020 IRS disclosure said Kennedy was paid $450,000 for 10 hours of work per week. In 2022, at the height of corporations’ DEI hype, Kennedy, chief executive officer Ángeles Valenciano, and chief financial officer Jason deGroot also “unilaterally decided that they were owed almost $3 million in ‘back pay,’ and then paid themselves more than $1 million of donor funds,” the lawsuit said.

As board members became suspicious and determined that there was no basis for the payments, Kennedy systematically moved the nonprofit’s trademarks and web domains into his own name, and essentially created a fake organization with the same name that would trick people into paying him directly, the suit indicated.

“Kennedy, Valenciano, and deGroot conspired to protect their scheme and ill-gotten gains by attempting to destroy NDC and move its resources and partnerships to another organization where they could continue exploiting donors’ funds and the organization’s resources with minimal oversight,” it said.

The suit said the trio’s conduct “gives rise to criminal liability…at a minimum, a third degree felony.”

  4. The CFPB = Elizabeth Warren’s baby:

“In 2008, greedy financial institutions crashed our economy and working families all across this country paid the price. Millions of Americans lost their jobs, millions lost their homes, and millions lost their savings. In the aftermath, President Obama signed into law the toughest Wall Street reforms and strongest consumer protections in a generation. Those reforms included a new agency — the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau — dedicated to stopping scams and holding financial firms accountable when they cheat people.

Elizabeth came up with the idea for the CFPB before the crisis even began and then fought successfully to turn her idea into a reality. She spent a year working with President Obama to set up the CFPB before returning to Massachusetts where she ran against an incumbent Republican for U.S. Senate and won – becoming the state’s first female U.S. Senator in history….”

    https://2020.elizabethwarren.com/cfpb

EXCERPT: “In November 2024, the Biden administration’s Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) fined Townstone Financial, a small mortgage company in Chicago, Ill., $105,000 for statements the company’s owner had made about crime in the city. The police “are the only ones between that [area] turning into a real war zone and keeping it kind of where it’s at,” Barry Sturner said in 2016.

Now, the Trump administration is pressing a court for the green light to give the money back.

On Wednesday the CFPB asked the U.S District Court for the Northern District of Illinois to void the settlement agreement the Biden administration reached with Townstone, a move that would allow the bureau to return the money the company forked over to the government as part of the agreement. It is a belated mea culpa from an agency that nearly bankrupted a small business over political speech and comes after President Donald Trump signed an executive order instructing agency heads to “correct past misconduct … related to censorship.”

Former Rep. Dan Bishop (R., N.C.), the deputy director at the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) who has been detailed to the CFPB, cited that order as the impetus for Wednesday’s motion, which argues that Townstone was unlawfully targeted for expressing “political viewpoints.” His conclusion was based on a review of agency records that have not been previously reported and provide a remarkable window into the partisanship of federal bureaucrats.

“The documents I reviewed make clear that the CFPB lacked a sufficient factual predicate for the seven-year saga to which it subjected Defendant Townstone,” Bishop wrote in the motion. “Those documents also make clear that agency lawyers … were affected by animus toward the publicly expressed viewpoints of Townstone’s owner [Barry Sturner].”

The case, which began during the first Trump administration, centered on a company-hosted radio show that Townstone used to advertise its services. In five episodes over a three-year period—0.33 percent of the company’s recorded content—the hosts had also made a handful of comments alluding to inner-city crime.

The CFPB cited those comments when it opened an investigation of Townstone in 2017, arguing that the radio banter may have discouraged minorities from applying for credit. Though a consumer testing firm found that African Americans were not offended by the banter—and were, in fact, more likely to seek out Townstone’s services after hearing it—the bureau ignored the firm’s report and sued Townstone for “redlining” in 2020…..”

  5. EXCERPT: “Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D., Texas) once attacked Rep. Byron Donalds (R., Fla.) for having a white wife, saying Donalds “married a white woman and so you think that whitewashed you.” It’s unclear whether Crockett believes Kamala Harris is “whitewashed” for marrying a white man.

“The fact that you’re sitting around talking about ‘life was better under Jim Crow,’ like, is this because you don’t understand history? Or literally it’s because you married a white woman and so you think that whitewashed you?” Crockett said on The Breakfast Club in June.

“It took joy to call him out,” she continued. “I feel like they give him his talking points and he’s like ‘Yes, massa [sic]. I got it.’”

Donalds has been married to Erika Donalds, a white woman, for over 20 years. Crockett, a rising star in the Democratic Party, called Donalds “skinfolk who definitely” is “not our kinfolk.” The Texas congresswoman did not return a request for comment about her thoughts on Harris’s marriage to Doug Emhoff, who, like Erika Donalds, is white.

Crockett’s comments toward Donalds take on a new light after she mocked Texas’s wheelchair-bound governor Greg Abbott (R.), calling him “Governor Hot Wheels” on Saturday. After facing backlash, Crockett claimed she was not referring to Abbott’s disability…..”

    1. EXCERPT: “Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D., Texas) “liked” Facebook comments referring to wheelchair-bound Texas governor Greg Abbott as “hot wheels” in 2021—a year before he started busing migrants to Democratic cities, the policy Crockett said she was referring to when she called Abbott “hot wheels” herself.

“We in these hot ass Texas streets, honey. Y’all know we got Governor Hot Wheels down there. Come on now! And the only thing hot about him is that he’s a hot-ass mess, honey! Yes, yes, yes, yes!” Crockett said to applause at a Human Rights Campaign event on Saturday.

After clips of Crockett’s remarks went viral on Tuesday, the congresswoman denied that they referenced the governor’s condition. “I wasn’t thinking about the governor’s condition—I was thinking about the planes, trains, and automobiles he used to transfer migrants into communities led by Black mayors, deliberately stoking tension and fear among the most vulnerable,” Crockett wrote on X.

But Crockett was aware—and supportive—of the derisive label for the governor before he began the migrant transfers. “Hot wheels something else,” reads a June 2021 Facebook comment that Crockett “liked” on the platform. The comment was a reply to a Crockett post about Abbott…..”

  6. EXCERPT: “As President Donald Trump faces stiff challenges from federal judges across the country, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, is laying out a sweeping agenda for judicial reform to rein in judges that he says are being overtly political.

In just under 65 days of President Trump’s second term, federal judges have issued at least 15 nationwide injunctions, where single judges on the district court level have attempted to block certain administration policies nationwide. Republicans have roundly decried the injunctions because of their sweeping nature and have accused some of the judges of being motivated by politics instead of sound legal arguments.

“[When] you have a judge whose behavior is so politically, so political against President Trump, you kind of got to start asking the question, really, is this just a bad judicial decision, or is this based on politics?” Jordan told the “Just the News, No Noise” TV show on Tuesday.

    Three reforms being proposed

Jordan, who leads the House committee responsible for overseeing the federal law enforcement and court system, told Just the News that he is planning to address reforms to the judicial system in three ways: passing legislation to limit nationwide injunctions by individual federal judges; wielding Congress’s appropriations power to curtail judicial activism; and conducting hearings on judicial conduct.

“[There’s] three avenues that Congress has to deal with this situation. One is legislative, and we’re already working on that. We’ve passed the bill out of committee two and a half weeks ago that the Speaker has indicated they’re gonna put on the floor next week. But that bill says, when you have one of these federal district judges who issues an injunction, you know, some some judge in Timbuktu California issues an injunction, it should only apply to parties in the case and in that respective jurisdiction, it shouldn’t have nationwide application. So we think that makes sense,” Jordan said.

The Judiciary Committee last week approved the “No Rogue Rulings Act of 2025” sponsored by Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif. That legislation would curtail federal judges from making nationwide injunctions in the cases before them, “except in the case of such an order that is applicable only to limit the actions of a party to the case before such district court with respect to the party seeking injunctive relief from such district court and non-parties represented by such a party acting in a representative capacity.”

The bill would provide a new pathway for injunctive relief in cases where three or more states challenge a federal law. In such a case, the challenge would be referred to a three-judge panel selected randomly which would be given the authority to issue the types of nationwide injunctions currently being used by individual federal judges.

The administration has so far faced dozens of lawsuits, mostly over Trump’s executive orders and the actions of Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency, resulting in injunctions—known as Temporary Restraining Orders—that freeze administration policies as the case is adjudicated. Most of the injunctions have come from the Democratic-friendly Maryland or DC courts, though their rulings currently apply nationwide, frustrating efforts by Trump to enact his agenda…..”

  7. Just The News: “To commemorate Women’s History Month, President Donald Trump hosted an event at the White House honoring the accomplishments of women, both past and present.

During the event highlighting the impact of women on the nation and the globe, he announced his administration’s plans to build a Women’s History Museum in Washington, D.C., on the National Mall.

“I want to acknowledge the driving force behind the efforts to make a women’s history museum, working with some of the women in this room,” Trump said. “I’m not sure if its been discussed specifically, but to create a women’s museum on the national mall. We have a great site .. Nicole Malliotakis is here someplace, she is working really hard on this one.”

This will add to the list of over 80 museums in the nation’s capital, in a site highly trafficked by tourists and locals alike.

The president also acknowledged the powerful women serving in his administration, including White House chief of staff Susie Wiles, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem.”

Just The News: “(The Center Square) – Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes is part of a coalition that wants a court to force the Trump administration to unfreeze “essential” funding from the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

The Office of the Attorney General says the Trump administration is defying “multiple court orders” by withholding millions of dollars in FEMA grants to states. Twenty-two other attorneys general agree and have asked the U.S. District Court for the District of Rhode Island to intervene.

“This reckless behavior puts lives at risk and undermines the ability of states to respond to disasters,” said Mayes in a press release. “With wildfire season upon us, I will not stand by and allow the Trump administration to jeopardize public safety. The court must do everything in its power to enforce these orders.”

The funds are for programs that respond to natural disasters and cybersecurity threats, according to Mayes.

The actions from the Trump administration are part of a broader effort to examine and cut down on spending. In a Jan. 27 memo, Matthew J. Vaeth, then the acting director of the White House Office of Management and Budget, wrote that the American people gave President Donald Trump a “mandate” to increase the impact of every taxpayer dollar.

“In Fiscal Year 2024, of the nearly $10 trillion that the Federal Government spent, more than $3 trillion was Federal financial assistance, such as grants and loans,” wrote Vaeth. “Career and political appointees in the Executive Branch have a duty to align Federal spending and action with the will of the American people as expressed through presidential priorities.”

Vaeth added that financial assistance should be dedicated to advancing not only the Trump administration’s priorities but ensuring a stronger and safer America and promoting efficiency in government, among other things.

Meanwhile, Trump signed an executive order on March 18 to “empower states, localities and citizens to more effectively prepare” for weather events and cyber-attacks. A White House Fact Sheet says it also launched a National Resilience Strategy that will outline ways to advance this effort.

Other states that are part of the coalition suing to unfreeze FEMA funds include California, Colorado, Nevada and New Mexico.”

  9. Daily Caller News Foundation

ENTIRE ARTICLE: “Republican Louisiana Sen. John Kennedy appeared on Newsmax Wednesday and said he’s concerned that the increasingly extreme positions of some Democratic lawmakers could simultaneously bolster the Republican Party but still damage the country.

In a speech at the Human Rights Campaign event on Monday evening, Democrat Texas Rep. Jasmine Crockett stepped up to the podium to voice her criticisms of the Republican leaders in her state and called Republican Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, who uses a wheelchair, “Governor Hot Wheels” and described him as a “hot ass mess.” During an appearance on “The Record with Greta Van Susteren,” Kennedy said that despite the political gains, he’s concerned for the country’s well-being.

“They got beat in the election. And I thought they’d hit rock bottom, but apparently rock bottom has a basement,” Kennedy said. “All this is great for the Republican Party, all this lunacy, but it’s bad for America. And I wish they’d stop it. But, you know, just from a political standpoint, you never interfere with your enemy when he’s kicking his own ass.”

Kennedy also commented on Crockett’s antics, and he did not hold back in his assessment of his political opponents.

    (Video)

“Let me say I don’t hate anybody. When I say my prayers, I ask God, don’t let me hate. It’s hard sometimes in Washington. I don’t know Congresswoman Crockett, I think he said her name was,” Kennedy said. “I don’t know her. She’s entitled to her opinion, but I’m entitled to mine. I’ve said this before, I think the Republicans’ secret operation, secret weapon, ought to be called ‘Operation Let Them Speak.’”

Kennedy suggested a hands-off approach might be most effective. “As far as I’m concerned, I would turn the congresswoman loose and let her keep talking. She’s making our case for us. She’s a member of the loon wing of the Democratic Party. All Democrats aren’t like that, but the loon wing is in control,” Kennedy added.

Crockett’s remark about the Republican governor is one of several comments she has made against Republicans and allies of President Donald Trump. Crockett admitted that her priority is opposing Trump rather than passing legislation.

Republican Texas Rep. Randy Weber announced he intends to propose a censure resolution against Crockett. It remains uncertain if the resolution will be deemed privileged, potentially obligating House GOP leadership to conduct a vote on the censure.”

  10. Trump Endorses Lindsey Graham for a Fifth Senate Term

President Donald Trump backed Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) in his pursuit of a fifth Senate term in 2026. Trump announced his support in a Truth Social post on Wednesday night.

“Senator Lindsey Graham is working incredibly hard for the Great People of South Carolina, a State I love and WON BIG in 2016, 2020, and 2024!” Trump said. “Lindsey has been a wonderful friend to me, and has always been there when I needed him…Senator Lindsey Graham has my Complete and Total Endorsement for Re-Election — HE WILL NOT LET YOU DOWN. Everyone in South Carolina should help Lindsey have a BIG WIN next year!”

Trump’s endorsement likely all but locks up the Republican nomination in South Carolina for Graham, who is facing rumored challenges from firebrand Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) and Rep. Ralph Norman (R-SC).

Graham already has the endorsement of Gov. Henry McMaster (R-SC) and fellow Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC). He’s unlikely to lose in the general election either. – Washington Examiner

Our Take: You can tell who is well read on Q. And who isn’t.

Trump endorsed Lindsey Graham. Non Q people are “shocked.” Q people understand Lindsey has been a scumbag BUT since DJT and the Q team took over. Lindsey rolled. (We like good singers.)

Lindsey has followed orders and done as told.

Think about the Kavanaugh Hearing as an example.

Even when it seems “he’s going against Trump.” It’s part of the show to make DJT seem more centrist/reasonable. (Abortion as an example.)

You don’t need to like Lindsey to understand Q Team / DJT uses whomever they need to. Patriots in Full Control. Understand the above. And it all makes perfect sense. – Stormy Patriot Joe’s Newsletter

  11. Demonstrations Swell as Thousands Join Second Day of Protests Against Hamas in Gaza

Thousands of Palestinians marched in northern Gaza on Wednesday, the second day of anti-war protests, with many chanting against Hamas in a rare display of public anger against the ruling terror group.

As the Palestinians marched, Defense Minister Israel Katz urged others to join the protests while warning that a restarted military campaign against Hamas would only gain intensity if the terror group does not release Israeli hostages.

The protests appeared to be aimed generally against the war, with protesters calling for an end to 17 months of deadly fighting with Israel, started by Hamas, that has made life in Gaza insufferable. – The Times of Israel

Our Take: Well, would you look at that? The people of Gaza out in the streets demanding that Hamas surrender and step down.

In any other country, I may approach a narrative like this with skepticism, given the likelihood that it was orchestrated from the top-down by bad actors; but I think this audience is well-read in on my feelings about Hamas and its own illegitimacy. And given everything the Gazan people have lost, and everything they’ve been through, doesn’t this move make perfect sense? Especially if you are apprehensive toward the Netanyahu government, and recognize its desire to go to war. Despite Defense Minister Israel Katz’s words of encouragement for this development, I cant imagine the Kahanists that make up Bibi’s Security Cabinet are eager to see Hamas driven from power.

That would leave them dealing with Mahmoud Abbas and the Fatah faction of the Palestinian Authority — the group that has spent the past 32 years seeking peace with Israel, ever since Abbas signed the Oslo Accords in 1993 with Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, the result of which being that the Palestinian government formally recognized the State of Israel. (Something the Israeli government has yet to reciprocate.)

And this peace movement in Gaza coincides with what would appear to be a peace movement in Tel Aviv, as a growing number of people are demanding Netanyahu step down, due to his attempts to overhaul the judicial system by expanding the Supreme Court, similar to what the Democrats want to do in America– and for similar reasons. (The final vote to approve the legislation for that measure is being held as I type this. So you may know already know the result.)

I will continue to say what I have been saying for the past year: President Trump is going to keep his promise to Mahmoud Abbas and liberate Palestine from Netanyahu.” – GhostofBasedPatrickHenry

  12. EXCERPT: “(The Center Square) – The city of Los Angeles has issued just four rebuilding permits in the Pacific Palisades 75 days after a fire devastated most of the coastal community, highlighting the city’s struggle with providing basic government services.

After the city dedicated significant resources to tearing down a 20-year-old family treehouse earlier this month over permitting disagreements, many individuals highlighted their struggles with obtaining permits for building even simple structures.

According to Los Angeles City Councilwoman Traci Park, who represents the Pacific Palisades, only four permits have been issued for rebuilding thus far after a fire destroyed 6,000 structures and leveled much of the community.

“When I hear in a committee meeting like we had today that only four permits have been issued and we’re at day 75 post-fire, that is concerning to me,” said Park to ABC 7. “The loss of business and tax revenue is going to impact us. We are looking at hundreds of billions of dollars in economic losses overall here, and I don’t think there is any real easy way to sugarcoat this. It’s a mess.”

Just weeks ago, Los Angeles officials demolished a beloved family treehouse that had been in a nearby community for over two decades, following lengthy court battles and attempts by the owner to get the treehouse property permitted that have cost the owner over $50,000, and the city likely significantly more…..”

  13. But will the Senate pass it???

Just The News: “The Republican-led House on Thursday passed legislation to limit foreign influence in U.S. universities and colleges. The DETERRENT Act passed in a 241 to 169 vote. The legislation mandates that schools have to report foreign gifts that are at $50,000 or more to the Department of Education. The legislation bans donations from China and Russia.

“The lack of transparency around foreign relationships with our nation’s universities should concern every American as we see stolen research, antisemitic propaganda, and academic censorship,” Education and Workforce Committee Chairman Tim Walberg said in a statement after the bill passed.

“This is a major win for transparency, accountability, and protecting students from foreign adversaries attempting to influence U.S. universities,” Washington GOP Rep. Michael Baumgartner said after the bill was passed.”

  15. Holy shit!!! And our tax $$$’s paid for this lunacy!!!!

The Federalist: “It’s no secret that the Biden administration did everything it could to use the Department of Education to advance its left-wing worldview, but with the agency’s (hopefully) impending dissolution, it’s worth reviewing the exact flavor of evil it’s been involved with sowing.

Open the Books has released a snapshot of a forthcoming, more exhaustive report on waste, fraud, and abuse from the Department of Education. The millions spent on indoctrinating children show that the department has not just been a place where bureaucrats dictate education to states from an ivory tower or collude with teachers unions to the detriment of American students and families, but more malevolently, it’s been a money laundering scheme for Democrats to fund far-left social theories to fundamentally destroy American family and civil life.

“Everyone understands that essential protections for all students must be preserved somewhere in the federal purview,” Open the Books CEO John Hart told The Federalist. “Once we get past that conversation, it hardly takes five minutes to find examples of tax dollars spent to inject progressive dogma into the classroom. It’s not limited to universities; we find it at public secondary schools as well. It’s a misuse of public funds intended to have lasting impact on a generation of students.”

‘Remixing Textbooks’ And DEI Classroom Assessments

From 2021 through 2024, the Department of Education awarded $1.3 million to fund a project at Framingham State University called “Remixing Textbooks Through an Equity-Focused Lens” (ROTEL). The project covered a wide swathe of pseudo-science and indoctrination, and ultimately published the information in open-source textbooks.

Each book, naturally, begins with a “land acknowledgement” — a tedious process of falsely claiming Native American ownership over American land — stating that “Indigenous Peoples” are the “traditional stewards of the land.”

“We acknowledge that the boundaries that created Massachusetts were arbitrary and a product of the settlers,” it goes on. “We acknowledge the painful history of genocide and forced removal from their territory, and other atrocities connected with colonization.” The “land acknowledgement” is part of the ROTEL grant’s overall mission.

One textbook the project produces is called “Overweight” Bodies, Real and Imagined, which seeks to “decouple weight and health,” apparently in an attempt to falsely claim that obesity is not the health issue everyone knows that it is.

“These readings on dismantling fatphobia/the obesity myth imply the need to decolonize health/fitness culture,” author Sarah Gilleman says in an introductory screed. “Academic literature on ‘obesity prevention’ tends to involve an unseemly depiction of ‘the problem of overweight bodies,’ as though the reader is somehow elevated in regarding the lived reality of unhealthy people as a mere field of study–which is to say, dismissively, judgmentally, without mercy or respect.”

“The true purpose of this text is not strictly to increase students’ knowledge about health and wellness in order to build their capacity in consuming health information and making evidence-based decisions related to their and their families’ health, but to develop students’ ability to effectively transmit their learning in a way that is culturally responsive and equity-minded,” she continued.

On the taxpayer’s dime, Gilleman bravely treads where no one before had trod, asking the essential question: “What does it mean for white people to make statements about the health-seeking behavior of Black and Latinx people?”

Another textbook produced by the project is called Children, Families, Schools, and Communities, which “provides a lens for understanding the evolving definition of ‘family’ through socially constructed and ecological theory frameworks.” The book contains the infamous “Genderbread Person,” which is used to indoctrinate children into believing there are more than two genders, and that they could be any one of them.

“Each semester that I teach this course, I am reminded about the immediate need to share an understanding of culturally sustaining collaboration that strips down hierarchies between children, family, schools, and communities and, instead, centers around a common framework of the whole child,” author Joan Giovanni wrote.

From 2022 through 2025, the Department of Education awarded the University of Virginia $1.6 million for the “Development and Validation of the Culturally- and Racial Equity-Sustaining (CARES) Classroom Assessment System.”

“The ultimate goal is that the actionable feedback from these assessments will help teachers hone their skills in cultivating emotionally safe, culturally sustaining, equity-driven, and inclusive classroom climates,” an extension of the program states.

And from 2019-2024, the department gave $2.4 million to Delsea Regional High School in New Jersey for “The Case for Student Voice as a Change Agent in Schools: A Focus on Culturally Responsive Climate, Equity, and Discipline.”

    1. “Virginia Lt. Gov. Winsome Earle-Sears Makes Her Next Move and It’s Big”

Red State, Susie Moore, September 5, 2024

      AP Photo/Steve Helber

EXCERPT: “Virginia Lieutenant Governor Winsome Earle-Sears has fast become a favorite of Republicans and conservatives since her 2021 victory in Old Dominion alongside Republican Governor Glenn Youngkin and Attorney General Jason Miyares. With her no-nonsense approach and her steadfast commitment to conservative ideals, Earle-Sears has endeared herself to the political right.

Now, Earle-Sears is taking the next big step and throwing her hat into the 2025 Virginia governor’s race. Since Virginia’s Constitution prohibits governors from serving consecutive terms, Youngkin is ineligible to run in 2025. On Wednesday, Earle-Sears filed paperwork to run for the commonwealth’s top spot.

Lt. Gov. Earle-Sears’ statement of organization – paperwork needed to launch a campaign – was accepted by the Virginia Department of Elections on Sept. 4.

Earle-Sears was expected to jump into the governor’s race and recently acknowledged she was exploring a run. She is the first Republican to submit paperwork to run for the party’s nomination in the 2025 election.

A former state delegate who represented Norfolk, Earle-Sears presides over the Virginia Senate in her role as lieutenant governor. Earle-Sears, the first Black Republican woman to be elected to the Virginia General Assembly, emigrated from Jamaica when she was a child and served in the Marines before running for office.

If she secures the Republican nomination, Earle-Sears will face off against U.S. Rep. Abigail Spanberger (D-VA) in November 2025.

Earle-Sears hasn’t shared a formal announcement regarding her decision yet. However, she is hosting a “special event” Thursday evening at an oyster bar in Virginia Beach.

Checking in this morning as to how the news is being received from our favorite Foo from Twitchy:

It appears the news is being well-received. Keep doing what you’re doing, Virginia. “

      1. they were included in the dvds we got. the “final” farewell? Charles and Caroline go back to Walnut Grove for a visit. At the end of the story, the entire town blows up their stores, the mill and all the houses. ( some greedy man comes to town to tel them the gov’t was mistaken–the land they allowed homesteading on was NOT gov’t to give. it was not tribal land–he had a deed to ALL of it–and other towns as well.) and they brought in the calvary who sided with the man and they all had to leave town OR continue to work the land as HIS employees. however, the buildings, the stores, the mill and their houses and barns belonged to them. so they blew them all and left.

          1. yeah–but they included that one and one about Albert getting a incurable blood disease on the 8th season dvd set. then on the very last season’s dvd set (season 9) there was one–it’s where Albert gets arrested whichever city they were living in after Walnut Grove, and he brings him back to Walnut Grove where he gets hooked worse on morphine he steals from Dr Baker.

Laura says at the end that even after all that he comes BACK to Walnut Grove as Dr Albert Ingalls. it just doesn’t make sense–how he could back with the town destroyed?

            and was he cured???

            1. At least….I’m pretty sure he died….hmmmm – just asked the web: “The fate of Albert Ingalls is ambiguous; he is diagnosed with leukemia in the movie “Look Back to Yesterday,” and while it is implied he may die, it is never explicitly shown. Some fans believe he survives and returns as a doctor, but the series leaves his ultimate fate open to interpretation.”

              Liked by 1 person

              1. so the story is based on her actual life, correct? there must be some record.
here’s what i found on wiki:

Some time later when Charles decides to move out of Walnut Grove he and the family left the town.

But when Albert moved to Burr Oak, Iowa, Charles was told by the police that he had started stealing again. He was brought back home and the family found out he was addicted to morphine. After he was off of it, he decided to go to medical school to become a doctor. He planned to go to college, but he became severely ill and was sent to the hospital.

Once diagnosed, Albert decided to leave the hospital and return to Walnut Grove, where Charles was giving a speech on crop sharing. Laura and a severely ill Albert followed a group of students up a mountain where they have shared fond memories of their past.

He recovered long enough to get his education and fulfill his lifelong dream of becoming a doctor, returning to his adopted home years before its destruction. He later disappeared, with some speculating he may have died or moved to Mexico to continue his practice,
                Relationships

It is never explained at the end if Albert died of his terminal illness or survived by a miracle because, at the end of “Home Again,” Laura’s voiceover reveals Albert returned to Walnut Grove 20 years later as the town’s doctor. It is also clear that Albert lives through the final scene of “Look Back To Yesterday”, which may very well support Laura’s closing statement in “Home Again”.

  16. Yikes! On a chicken??!!?? Note to school: don’t treat farm animals like pets!!!

“What a clucking tragedy. Parents and a teacher in an upscale Park Slope neighborhood shelled out more than $2,000 to cover medical bills for one of their kids’ schoolyard chickens — but it died anyway.

Five-month-old hen Waffles died from egg-laying complications after she was rushed to an Upper East Side vet from PS 107’s “homestead” with a teacher forking over $2,100 out of her own pocket to try to save their feathered friend.

“It’s been a mixed bag,” Ali Annunziato told The Post of students’ reactions to Waffles’ death Wednesday morning. “Lots of tears in the next class. No tears in the next. Some kids were very close to Waffles because she was the easiest chicken to hold,” the teacher added. “So she spent most of her days in someone’s arms.” What a clucking tragedy.

Annunziato is now hoping to get medical insurance for the other chicks to avoid further shell shock on any bills. The kids, meanwhile, are coping with the tragedy with a planned mosaic memorial.”

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, left, and French President Emmanuel Macron arrive for a joint press conference following a bilateral meeting at the Elysee Palace in Paris, Wednesday, March 26, 2025. (Yoan Valat, Pool via AP)

Remix News Staff, March 27, 2025

ENTIRE ARTICLE: “French President Emmanuel Macron hosted the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky for a working dinner ahead of a meeting of the Coalition of the Willing tomorrow, but Zelensky was there for more than just a free meal.

“France sends a message of friendship and support. We are and will remain on Ukraine’s side,” Macron said at a joint press conference with Zelensky, announcing that his country would provide €2 billion in military aid to Ukraine.

“We must continue to provide immediate support to Ukraine. The resistance must continue. I have announced an additional €2 billion in support,” Macron said, writes Magyar Nemzet. The support still includes Milan anti-tank missiles, air defense systems, such as the previously delivered MICA missiles mounted on Mirage aircraft, and Mistral surface-to-air missiles.

Ukrainian forces will also receive VAB armored vehicles and AMX–10 RC tanks, as well as a wide range of ammunition, some of which is remotely controlled, and drones. The French president added that there are ongoing discussions surrounding satellite and intelligence cooperation involving Ukrainian manufacturing, “thanks to partnerships with our defense companies.”

“We have entered a new era, and Russia’s aggressiveness not only poses a challenge to global order and world stability, but also has a very direct impact on our European security,” Macron stressed, adding that he expects Russia to also commit to the 30-day unconditional ceasefire Ukraine agreed to.

For his part, Zelensky remarked on sanctions, saying: “Sanctions against Russia must remain in place and be strengthened as long as the Russian occupation lasts.” Moscow understands no other language than the language of force, that is a fact.”

He also touched on the possibility of deploying foreign soldiers in Ukraine, which will be discussed at the Coalition of the Willing in Paris, which will be held tomorrow.  Zelensky also highlighted France’s “unwavering support” for Ukraine, adding that he believes “much can and should be done for the security of Europe.”

  18. Daily Caller News Foundation

“Donald Trump Jr. told Jewish Insider that certain anonymous Senate Republicans are “pussies” for privately criticizing Vice President JD Vance over his comments in a leaked Signal group chat between government officials.

Some GOP senators have been anonymously expressing annoyance over Vance’s voicing doubt in the group chat that it was in the U.S.’ best interest to attack Houthi targets in Yemen, JI reported Thursday. The report comes after The Atlantic Editor-in-chief Jeffrey Goldberg published a piece on Monday describing how he had accidentally been added into the group chat with cabinet officials, where Vance expressed some reservations about the attacks.

“I am not sure the president is aware how inconsistent this is with his message on Europe right now,” Vance wrote in the Signal group chat, according to Goldberg. “There’s a further risk that we see a moderate to severe spike in oil prices. I am willing to support the consensus of the team and keep these concerns to myself. But there is a strong argument for delaying this a month, doing the messaging work on why this matters, seeing where the economy is, etc.”

One anonymous GOP senator told JI that they found it “very disappointing” that Vance did not share their threat assessment with regard to the Houthis. “A number of Republican senators are very concerned about [his foreign policy views],” another anonymous GOP senator told JI. “They think it’s quite revealing. It reveals a mindset that I’m sure is perplexing to our European allies.”

In response, Trump Jr. slammed the anonymous Republican senators as “cowardly” in a statement shared with the outlet.

“These seven cowardly neocons attacking J.D. anonymously are genuine pussies. If they really feel this way, then they should at least be man enough to put their names to these quotes,” Trump Jr. told JI. “The fact that they are too cowardly to do that is exactly why I’m so happy that these RINOs are a dying breed in our party – whether they realize it or not.”

A source familiar with the criticisms against Vance told the Daily Caller News Foundation that “Senate neocons were pushing this on at least one other outlet and the Jewish Insider was the only rag unserious enough to run these smears.”

Just The News: “The White House told the chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee Thursday that it will be withdrawing the nomination of New York GOP Rep. Elise Stefanik for U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations.

Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman Jim Risch said he got the notice in the afternoon. “I got a call from the White House,” Risch said, according to The Hill newspaper. He said he was informed “that they were pulling the nomination.”

House Republicans have expressed worries that if Stefanik got confirmed, it would be difficult for House Republicans to pass President Donald Trump’s agenda with the small majority the GOP has in the House.”

  20. “HHS Announces Transformation to Make America Healthy Again”

Washington, D.C. — March 27, 2025 — Today, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced a dramatic restructuring in accordance with President Trump’s Executive Order, “Implementing the President’s ‘Department of Government Efficiency’ Workforce Optimization Initiative.”

The restructuring will address this and serve multiple goals without impacting critical services. First, it will save taxpayers $1.8 billion per year through a reduction in workforce of about 10,000 full-time employees who are part of this most recent transformation. When combined with HHS’ other efforts, including early retirement and Fork in the Road, the restructuring results in a total downsizing from 82,000 to 62,000 full-time employees.

Secondly, it will streamline the functions of the Department. Currently, the 28 divisions of the HHS contain many redundant units. The restructuring plan will consolidate them into 15 new divisions, including a new Administration for a Healthy America, or AHA, and will centralize core functions such as Human Resources, Information Technology, Procurement, External Affairs, and Policy. Regional offices will be reduced from 10 to 5.

Third, the overhaul will implement the new HHS priority of ending America’s epidemic of chronic illness by focusing on safe, wholesome food, clean water, and the elimination of environmental toxins. These priorities will be reflected in the reorganization of HHS.

Finally, the restructuring will improve Americans’ experience with HHS by making the agency more responsive and efficient, while ensuring that Medicare, Medicaid, and other essential health services remain intact.

“We aren’t just reducing bureaucratic sprawl. We are realigning the organization with its core mission and our new priorities in reversing the chronic disease epidemic,” HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. said. “This Department will do more – a lot more – at a lower cost to the taxpayer.”

The specific contents of the restructuring plan that have been announced so far are as follows:

    • Creation of the Administration for a Healthy America (AHA), which will combine multiple agencies — the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health (OASH), Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR), and National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) — into a new, unified entity. This centralization will improve coordination of health resources for low-income Americans and will focus on areas including, Primary Care, Maternal and Child Health, Mental Health, Environmental Health, HIV/AIDS, and Workforce development. Transferring SAMHSA to AHA will increase operational efficiency and assure programs are carried out because it will break down artificial divisions between similar programs.
    • Strengthening the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC): the Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR), responsible for national disaster and public health emergency response, will transfer to the CDC, reinforcing its core mission to protect Americans from health threats.
    • New Assistant Secretary for Enforcement: HHS will create a new Assistant Secretary for Enforcement to oversee the Departmental Appeals Board (DAB), Office of Medicare Hearings and Appeals (OMHA), and Office for Civil Rights (OCR) to combat waste, fraud, and abuse in federal health programs.
    • Research and Evaluation for Health Policy: HHS will merge the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation (ASPE) with the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) to create the Office of Strategy to enhance research that informs the Secretary’s policies and improves the effectiveness of federal health programs.
    • Reorganization of the Administration for Community Living (ACL): Critical programs that support older adults and people with disabilities will be integrated into other HHS agencies, including the Administration for Children and Families (ACF), ASPE, and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). This reorganization will not impact Medicare and Medicaid services.

“Over time, bureaucracies like HHS become wasteful and inefficient even when most of their staff are dedicated and competent civil servants,” Secretary Kennedy said. “This overhaul will be a win-win for taxpayers and for those that HHS serves. That’s the entire American public, because our goal is to Make America Healthy Again.”

  21. Fact Sheet: HHS’ Transformation to Make America Healthy Again — Content created by the Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs (ASPA)

The restructuring of HHS is proceeding in accordance with President Trump’s Executive Order, “Implementing the President’s ‘Department of Government Efficiency’ Workforce Optimization Initiative.” Over the past four years, during the Biden administration, HHS’s budget increased by 38% and its staffing increased by 17%.

    1. The plan combines personnel cuts, centralization of functions, and consolidation of HHS divisions, including:
      • The current 82,000 full-time employees will be reduced to 62,000
      • 28 divisions will be consolidated to 15
      • 10 regional offices will become 5
      • Human Resources, Information Technology, Procurement, External Affairs, and Policy will be centralized.
    2. Regarding FDA, CDC, NIH, and CMS:
      • FDA will decrease its workforce by approximately 3,500 full-time employees, with a focus on streamlining operations and centralizing administrative functions. This reduction will not affect drug, medical device, or food reviewers, nor will it impact inspectors.
      • The CDC will decrease its workforce by approximately 2,400 employees, with a focus on returning to its core mission of preparing for and responding to epidemics and outbreaks. This includes moving ASPR under CDC to enhance coordination of response efforts. NOTE: The “CDC” decrease would only be 1,400 if you included the individuals coming over from ASPR (approx. 1,000 individuals).
      • The NIH will decrease its workforce by approximately 1,200 employees by centralizing procurement, human resources, and communications across its 27 institutes and centers.
      • CMS will decrease its workforce by approximately 300 employees, with a focus on reducing minor duplication across the agency. This reorganization will not impact Medicare and Medicaid services.
    3. The consolidation and cuts are designed not only to save money, but to make the organization more efficient and more responsive to Americans’ needs, and to implement the Make America Healthy Again goal of ending the chronic disease epidemic.
    4. No additional cuts are currently planned, but the Department will continue to look for further ways to streamline its operations and agencies.
    5. A new Administration for a Healthy America (AHA) will consolidate the OASH, HRSA, SAMHSA, ATSDR, and NIOSH, so as to more efficiently coordinate chronic care and disease prevention programs and harmonize health resources to low-income Americans. Divisions of AHA include Primary Care, Maternal and Child Health, Mental Health, Environmental Health, HIV/AIDS, and Workforce, with support of the U.S. Surgeon General and Policy team.
    6. HHS will have a new Assistant Secretary for Enforcement to provide oversight of the Departmental Appeals Board (DAB), Office of Medicare Hearings and Appeal (OMHA), and the Office for Civil Rights (OCR) to combat waste, fraud, and abuse.
    7. HHS will combine the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation (ASPE) and Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) into the Office of Strategy to conduct research that informs the Secretary’s policies and evaluates the effectiveness of the Department’s programs for a healthier America.
    8. The critical programs within the Administration for Community Living (ACL) that support older adults and people of all ages with disabilities will be split across the Administration for Children and Families (ACF), Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation (ASPE), and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).”

As we advance our America First Agenda, it is essential that we maintain EVERY Republican Seat in Congress.

We must be unified to accomplish our Mission, and Elise Stefanik has been a vital part of our efforts from the very beginning.

I have asked Elise, as one of my biggest Allies, to remain in Congress to help me deliver Historic Tax Cuts, GREAT Jobs, Record Economic Growth, a Secure Border, Energy Dominance, Peace Through Strength, and much more, so we can MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN.

With a very tight Majority, I don’t want to take a chance on anyone else running for Elise’s seat.

The people love Elise and, with her, we have nothing to worry about come Election Day.

There are others that can do a good job at the United Nations.

Therefore, Elise will stay in Congress, rejoin the House Leadership Team, and continue to fight for our amazing American People.

    Speaker Johnson is thrilled!

I look forward to the day when Elise is able to join my Administration in the future.

She is absolutely FANTASTIC. Thank you Elise!
