New Jersey State Mammal: Horse

I couldn’t find a specific breed of horse for New Jersey, just the general term “horse” due to its importance in agriculture and economy.  So, I decided to focus on New Jersey Horse Rescue.

South Jersey Horse Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit horse rescue and rehabilitation facility.  Our mission is to provide a loving sanctuary to abandoned, neglected, abused, and slaughter bound horses. 

Donations pay for food, medicine, and veterinary services. We also use donations to buy horses at auction that would otherwise be sold to kill brokers, people who buy horses to sell them for meat in Mexico and Canada. About 90% of the horses that go through the slaughter lot are in perfect health.

What We Do

We evaluate and rehabilitate then re-home the horses we rescue. We do have some permanent residents, but strive to adopt out as many animals as possible to loving forever homes. We are 100% volunteer run and operate solely on donations.

    1. Good morning! What a surprise! A horse rescue in NJ! Amazing! Sure wish I could afford to help. I think the one thing needed most is for people to educate others about the work and costs involved in owning a horse. All too often, people think they are like dogs or pets and they have no idea of the costs involved or the needs of horses. What little girl didn’t want a pony at some point? I know, not everyone (here’s looking at you!) but far too many. They should spend some time working on a horse farm first.

      Temp here is at 39 and clear at the moment but that should start changing around mid-day leading to possible blizzard conditions & high winds. We’ll see!

      Wheezer was waiting again this morning – surprise, surprise! Two days in a row! Same old/same old – rubbing up against my leg, wanting to be petted, then swinging his head around. I’m tempted to continue just to see if he really will bite me but then I remember the last time I got a tooth in my hand…..nope! And that was Jake’s tooth – imagine how many more germs Wheezer is carrying!

      Very weird night – I simply could NOT fall asleep! I finally went into Piper’s bedroom, with the black-out curtains, around 2 am but even then, I tossed and turned. Thankfully, that doesn’t happen often.

    The General:

    BREAKING: Donald Trump’s lawyer, Mike Davis, suggests that Hunter Biden may have signed his own pardon.

    I know it’s not funny, and the condition of our country was grim, but this made me LOL because the absurdity of it would be so typical of the JB fraudministration.

    However, if Hunter did this, it’s no laughing matter and he should be prosecuted.

    Cleaning up the dead people database

    For the past two weeks, @SocialSecurity has begun a major cleanup of their records. Approximately 3.2 million numberholders, all listed age 120+, have now been marked as deceased. More work still to be done

    3.2 million, at a (minimum) payout of 10K a year, amounts to 32 Billion bucks in savings a year. Not too shabby. Funny how it was never found before.

    Something isn’t right about John Pelletier.

    2. This guy has been at the center of three major, history-making events, each wrapped in controversy, unanswered questions, and—let’s be real—what looks like orchestrated chaos.

    3. The deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history? He was there.

    The most catastrophic wildfire America has seen in a century? He was there.

    Now a lawsuit against P. Diddy that alleges criminal conspiracy, kidnapping, and rape?

    And guess what? His name is in that too.

    4. What are the odds?

    No, really—what are the actual statistical odds that one man, a police officer no less, would be connected to all three?

    At what point do we stop calling it coincidence and start calling it something else?

    5. It all starts in 2017.

    The Las Vegas mass shooting was a tragedy that still doesn’t sit right with people.

    Fifty-eight people murdered from above, hundreds wounded, and yet the motive?

    Still a mystery.

    6. The official story asks us to believe that a guy with no real history of violence or radical beliefs just randomly stockpiled weapons in a suite and opened fire?

    Right.

    And in the middle of it all?

    John Pelletier.

    7. At the time, he was the incident commander for the Las Vegas police.

    In other words, the guy calling the shots on how the response was handled.

    His job was to coordinate the police, manage the chaos, and—let’s be honest—control the narrative.

    8. The result?

    A case that has never made sense, that left survivors and investigators scratching their heads.

    We were told there was just one shooter, despite multiple witnesses saying otherwise.

    Key pieces of footage from inside Mandalay Bay? Either missing, redacted, or never released.

    9. A few eyewitnesses reported multiple shooters, strange men in tactical gear, and bizarre movements in and around the hotel before and after the massacre.

    But instead of getting clear answers, we got silence.

    The mainstream media moved on, the investigation wrapped up with a vague “lone wolf” explanation, and we were all told to forget about it.

    10. And the guy at the center of the police response?

    John Pelletier.

    Now, if this were just one tragic event he happened to be involved in, maybe—maybe—it could be dismissed as bad luck.

    But this was only the beginning.

    11. Fast forward, and suddenly, John Pelletier isn’t in Las Vegas anymore.

    He’s now the Police Chief of Maui.

    And what happens under his watch? The deadliest wildfire in modern American history.

    Lahaina burned to the ground.

    12. A historic town turned into ash and rubble in a matter of hours.

    The official explanation?

    High winds, dry conditions, and bad luck. Sound familiar?

    But the details of this disaster don’t add up either.

    13. Why were the emergency sirens never activated?

    The same sirens tested every month for tsunami warnings?

    Completely silent.

    Why were roads blocked off, trapping people in a fiery deathtrap?

    14. We now know that a police barricade stopped people from escaping, forcing them back into the flames.

    Many of the ones who ignored the barricade survived.

    The ones who followed orders? Most of them didn’t make it.

    15. Why was the area immediately locked down, with people barred from accessing?

    Why were drones banned from flying over Lahaina in the aftermath?

    What was there to hide?

    16. And in the middle of it all, giving press conferences, controlling the narrative, and keeping tight control over information?

    John Pelletier.

    By now, you have to be asking: how does the same guy go from being at the center of the Las Vegas massacre to running the most devastating fire response in U.S. history?

    17. But wait—because it gets even worse.

    Just when it seemed like Pelletier’s bizarre run of being at the center of major disasters was over, his name just popped up in a federal lawsuit against Sean “P. Diddy” Combs.

    Yes, you read that right.

    18. The same John Pelletier who managed the Vegas shooting and the Lahaina fire is now named as a defendant in a case alleging kidnapping, rape, and conspiracy.

    According to the lawsuit, a woman was drugged and assaulted by Diddy and his crew in 2018.

    19. When she tried to report the crime, the police officer who responded was none other than John Pelletier.

    But here’s the kicker—he wasn’t even supposed to be there.

    He was working in Las Vegas at the time, yet he allegedly showed up in California, impersonating a sheriff’s deputy.

    20. The lawsuit claims Pelletier dismissed her case, silenced her, and may have helped cover up the entire incident.

    Another victim in the case alleges that Pelletier himself was involved in a kidnapping, holding them at gunpoint and forcing them into a vehicle before taking them to the scene of the crime.

    21. So let’s recap.

    Las Vegas massacre? Pelletier was the incident commander.

    The case was riddled with inconsistencies, missing footage, and unanswered questions.

    22. Maui fire? Pelletier was the Police Chief who oversaw a response so botched that it almost looked deliberate.

    P. Diddy lawsuit? Pelletier is accused of personally helping cover up a rape and even participating in a kidnapping.

    23. I’ll ask again—what are the odds?

    WHAT THE HELL IS JOHN PELLETIER?

    At this point, we need to stop pretending that John Pelletier is just some random cop who keeps getting “unlucky.”

    There are three options here:

    24. 1. He is the unluckiest police officer in human history, always happening to be in charge during the most catastrophic, mysterious, and controversial disasters.

    2. He is a fixer, placed in key positions to manage narratives, control information, and ensure certain things never come to light.

    3. He is something far, far worse.

    25. So what happens next?

    Does this guy just disappear?

    Or does he pop up at the next major catastrophe, once again managing the response, controlling the press, and making sure we only hear what we’re supposed to hear?

    26. This is not normal.

    This story needs to be dug into, investigated, and exposed.

    Because if Pelletier is what he appears to be—a professional handler, a narrative manager, a crisis cover-up specialist—then that means these disasters aren’t just random.

    27. They’re engineered.

    And John Pelletier is there to make sure we never find out the truth.

    This isn’t a coincidence anymore, this is an established and disturbing pattern.

    Another fact: Pelletier was also the coroner during the Maui fires.

    AmeriCorps is a DEI Gravy Train

    Last year, AmeriCorps announced a whopping $370 million funding boost to support 300 “Innovative Programs Across the Nation,” which American taxpayers are funding only to create radical activists and future leaders who will work to dismantle and destroy our nation. Public Allies, mentioned above, is just one of the organizations churning them out.

    City Year is an organization that since the inception of AmeriCorps has sent service volunteers to work as peer tutors to low-performing schools in different communities across the nation. To prepare members for service, volunteers are put through their basic training academy.

    Training in what? Diversity, equity, and inclusion.

    One City Year participant who signed up to serve in the Dallas Independent School District recounts the “eye-opening” privilege line exercise she and other corps members had to do as part of their DEI training to determine who was more privileged based on their skin color and wealth:

    During the first month of training, the corps participated in a privilege line exercise which involved taking steps forward or backward to statements like “if you have experienced prejudice because of the color of your skin, take two steps backward.” The purpose behind it was to demonstrate how corps members come from diverse social backgrounds, some being very wealthy and privileged who ended up at the front of the room, while many corps members of color were closer to the back. I have come to believe that dark triangle personality traits are both selected for and intentionally amplified in how CIA agents are trained. Picture “The Real” Anthony Fauci, and you have a pretty good example. A US Government bureaucrat known to surreptitiously frequent CIA headquarters, according to various whistleblowers.

    Turning to Wikipedia for the historical “official narrative” regarding the theory that the CIA played a hand in the assassination of President John F. Kennedy:

    Our Take: The pardons were always fake. A few of us said that at the time. They’re not fake because of the autopen. They’re fake because Joe Biden was not a real or legitimate president. Very, very few of us said that the whole time. Most people groveled and convinced others to grovel. Some still wish to grovel.

    Joe Biden’s “presidency” being fake and illegitimate does necessarily indicate that the primaries, campaigns, and elections were also fake. It is the unavoidable implication of this.

    The other is that we are in some form of military government and have been the whole time. Otherwise, it would be impossible to have reversed the total usurpation of the country. This has always been true…

    There have been 107 days between the fake president’s filing of the fake pardon for his son, Hunter Biden, and President Trump’s declaration of the “Biden” pardons as null and void.

    Anyone who believed the pardons were real and legitimate until today is therefore stuck 107 days in an Informational Past relative to the issue of Joe Biden’s pardons until this false belief, and everything it spawned, is unwound and reconciled.     Our Take: A tale of two governments. The government of America, under President Trump, is moving toward Russia and peace. The other government — the European Union — is moving toward the Ukraine and war.

    EXCERPT: “For years, Andrew Weissmann was one of the most visible and vociferous critics of Donald Trump, as a former deputy to Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller and MSNBC legal analyst who wrote a book wondering if the president “paid bribes to foreign officials,” or had “Russian business deals in the works” when he ran for president.

    Now Weissmann is facing hard questions of his own, about eerily similar themes.

    In a pair of letters obtained by Racket, District of Columbia U.S. Attorney Ed Martin demanded to know why Weissmann ignored an alleged “conflict of interest” in signing off on a $4.5 billion settlement involving the Brazilian construction conglomerate Odebrecht in 2016, the largest such case in history. Weissmann had been (and is now) a partner at Jenner & Block, which represented a reputed key player in the story, a Canadian private equity firm called Brookfield Asset Management that until January was chaired by that country’s new Prime Minister, Mark Carney.

    Under your leadership, the Fraud Section participated in investigations concerning Brookfield — your office called one case, the federal investigation of the Brazilian construction company Odebrecht, “the largest bribery case in history.” Somehow, Brookfield and its proven corrupt subsidiary, Rutas de Lima, were excluded from sanctions. After you ordered investigations into Brookfield closed, you then returned to Jenner & Block in 2020 as co-chairman of its investigations, compliance, and defense practice.

    The letters sent Tuesday, March 11th to Weissmann and Jenner & Block co-managing partner Ishan Bhabha (PDFs at bottom of page):

    Neither Weissmann nor Bhabha has responded to a request for comment. A spokesperson for Brookfield said the firm hadn’t heard of the letter, and asked for more information. We’ll update when any of these parties comment. Weissmann, it should be noted, over the years frequently implied Trump was a coward for failing to sit for interviews under oath or “even for an interview.”

  17. Just The News: “Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts on Tuesday rebuked President Donald Trump after he called for the judge who ruled against his deportation efforts to be impeached.

    “For more than two centuries, it has been established that impeachment is not an appropriate response to disagreement concerning a judicial decision,” Roberts said in a statement, according to The Associated Press. “The normal appellate review process exists for that purpose.”

    Trump called for U.S. District Judge James Boasberg to be impeached after he issued an order temporarily blocking the administration from using the 1789 Alien Enemies Act. This grants authority to deport illegal migrants without them having the opportunity to go before an immigration or federal court judge.

    This order was in response to the Trump administration flying illegal Venezuelan migrants to El Salvador, as President Nayib Bukele said he would take them.

    Boasberg held a hearing Monday on whether the Trump administration has the legal authority to deport alleged gang members and gave the Trump Justice Department until noon Tuesday to provide answers about the flight and their passenger list before he makes any ruling about the legality of the weekend flights and what will happen going forward.”

      This campaign of 120+ restraining orders by activist judges is MASSIVE ABUSE OF JUDICIAL OFFICE AND OVERREACH on steroids – criminal abuse of the courts and law! 

      Boasberg has also demonstrated ignorance of the law – attempting to rule in an area of national security where he has NO AUTHORITY.

      This is the same Chief Justice and SCOTUS that decided not to address another national crisis – a stolen election. Roberts is a traitor and a clear and present danger to to our Constitution and National Jurisprudence.

  18. Yeah! My new yellow lilac bush has buds on it! A bunch of ’em! The wind is picking up and was blowing the west gate open so I went over to close it, then continued on to check the lilac bush. Yepper! I can also see buds on the purple lilac. Spring is right around the corner! Since they’re predicting possible wind gusts to 60 MPH, I also took my feeders down. Temp is still up at 55 at least.

Let me also start by saying I don’t claim to be right about everything, nor does it elicit anger in me when someone respectfully disagrees with me or presents information that shows where I might be wrong. I just want to know the truth. Far too often, even in our community, disagreements end in insults being lobbed.

    When one or both sides of the argument lack facts or true conviction in their belief, they often try to bully their way out of having to challenge their belief with honest debate, as they aren’t willing to even listen or consider what the other person has to say. Insults end the conversation as quickly as possible, unchallenged beliefs firmly intact.

    When it comes to choosing Donald Trump verses anyone in politics or the media, I’m going to give Trump the benefit of the doubt every time. He has earned that trust. It’s amazing how in the end, after the smoke of propaganda clears, he ends up being right every time.

    Thomas Massie supporters will say that he is a man of conviction. That he refuses to go against those convictions. That he refuses to compromise those convictions. Don’t be personally offended when I say this, but I see a man who doesn’t get deals done, a man who is, as Trump said, is a grandstander. The antithesis of Donald Trump, who is the epitome of a man who gets deals done. If Trump is a movie producer, Massie is a movie critic.

    Massie has been in Congress since 2012 and has yet to author a bill that has been passed into law. Passed into law, where the rubber meets the road, where ideas become reality. Where change actually occurs. In just over a month, Trump has made ideas reality like no other president before him.

    Are you angry at me for having an opinion that you may not agree with? If you are, you must understand that this is not how human beings are supposed to react to an opposing point of view; this reaction comes from how we’ve been conditioned. I don’t know Thomas Massie personally and have never met the guy. It’s likely that you haven’t either.

    After school as a kid, I used to watch reruns of the 1950’s TV show Leave it to Beaver. Beaver’s teenage brother Wally had a friend named Eddie Haskell. All the kids hated Haskell, he was a total jerk, but the adults thought he was kind and respectful because of how he acted in their presence. The adults were convinced that Eddie Haskell was an angel, even though the kids told them otherwise. The adults believed Haskell when he said the things they wanted to hear. “What a lovely dress you have on, Mrs. Cleaver.”

    What is a grandstander?

    To me, a political grandstander is someone who tries to take credit for something they didn’t contribute to in any way, someone who leaches off of a successful movement after the momentum has already swung in that direction. A coattail rider. Someone who climbs onboard after it’s safe to do so, with no risks. This could be someone who speaks up against the 2020 Election results, or Covid vaccines four years after the fact.

    Al Sharpton is the ultimate grandstander; he shows up to every protest of the police after a black person is killed by a cop. But you won’t see him protesting the black-on-black violence that occurs every weekend in Chicago. You won’t see him serving the black community in any way. He shows up when there is something for him to gain. He’s a grandstander.

    Deal-makers put skin in the game. Deal makers inevitably make compromises to get deals done. The definition of a deal is both sides agreeing to something, and, without at least some compromise, no deals are made. It’s easy to be on offense when you have nothing to defend. It’s easy to be a critic and hold to your convictions when you have no track record to be critiqued.

    Unwavering conviction sounds good on paper and in theory. Unwillingness to compromise sounds pretty bad. So, what’s the difference? One is viewed as honorable, while the other is considered selfish. If unwavering conviction stands in the way of getting anything done, how is it not an unwillingness to compromise?

    When the autistic Raymond from the movie Rain Man insisted on only wearing K-mart underwear, he was being unreasonable, he wasn’t a man with unwavering convictions. When a wide receiver refuses to block because he thought the play call should have been a pass and not a run, he simply isn’t being a team player. A team can’t win with players like this.

    Whether one likes it or not, as currently formed, politics is a team sport. When the coach calls the play, everyone on the team needs to be onboard. You may not like the play call, you may even let it be known in the huddle, but you execute the play as called. You do this because you are a team player, and you understand it is a team sport.

    Unwavering conviction or an unwillingness to compromise? If your elderly parent is having a health issue or your wife goes into labor, you drive them straight to the hospital, you may even exceed the speed limit, even though it’s against the law and may go against your convictions. You don’t pull up to a gas station and top off the tank because you noticed the line is a little shorter than usual. You don’t stop off at Jiffy Lube because you noticed it’s been 2,098 miles since your last oil change, and you always change the oil every 3,000 miles. You don’t stop off at 7-11 to grab some water because you insist on always drinking a gallon of water by noon……”

  22. Just The News: “Russian President Vladimir Putin and President Donald Trump discussed the implementation of an “energy and infrastructure ceasefire” and to be negotiations on the implementation of a “maritime ceasefire” in the ongoing war in Ukraine.

    “This conflict should never have started and should have been ended long ago with sincere and good faith peace efforts,” a readout of the call stated. “The leaders agreed that the movement to peace will begin with an energy and infrastructure ceasefire, as well as technical negotiations on implementation of a maritime ceasefire in the Black Sea, full ceasefire and permanent peace. These negotiations will begin immediately in the Middle East.”

    An energy and infrastructure ceasefire appears to refer to a cessation of attacks on those types of facilities while a maritime ceasefire presumably would spell the end of Ukrainian strikes on the Russian Black Sea Fleet. It does not necessarily mean an end to the conflict as convention ground assaults appear to remain fair game.

    The pair further addressed the Middle East and “iscussed the need to stop proliferation of strategic weapons and will engage with others to ensure the broadest possible application. The two leaders shared the view that Iran should never be in a position to destroy Israel.”

    “The two leaders agreed that a future with an improved bilateral relationship between the United States and Russia has huge upside,” it concluded. “This includes enormous economic deals and geopolitical stability when peace has been achieved.”

    If John Roberts is going to spend his time issuing impotent press releases against Trump, as if he’s an MSNBC host or a Democrat congressional candidate, instead of doing his actual job of protecting the rule of law from lawless inferior court judges, then he is going to end up doing far more damage to the Court than anything a lone politician is capable of.

    All of our problems with the judiciary right now stem from a refusal of judges to understand their actual roles in government. James Boasberg is not the president, and John Roberts is not a member of Congress.

    The sooner they are made to understand this, the better it will be—both for them and the country.

    FEDERAL GRANT MONEY GOING TO MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD ORGANIZATIONS:

    I will finally make this public.

    For the past few months, I have been working on documenting all the Federal Grant money that has gone to Muslim Brotherhood Organizations, Islamic Institutes tied to terrorists, Mosques -tied explicitly to the HolyLand Foundation Trial or terror-tied Imams. I have also documented grants that have gone to foreign nations’ Sharia Councils.

    I recognized a pattern: These grants were freely given before and after the Trump administration. Although Trump stopped all federal funding to these organizations, the COVID grants in 2020 and 2021 allowed many of them to take advantage.

    The Bridgeview Mosque Foundation was given $303,520 in 2020 and another $220,650 in 2021.

    ReMix: “A Muslim high school in Lille is challenging the termination of its contract with the French state in a legal battle after it lost public funding last year for supporting teachings “contrary to the values of the Republic.” The Averroès Muslim High School will present its case before the administrative court on Tuesday, arguing it has experienced a significant drop in student enrollment, from 470 to 290, forcing the school to double tuition fees and launch an online fundraiser to stay afloat.

    As reported by Le Figaro, the prefecture justified the suspension of state subsidies after an audit found the presence of religious texts in a Muslim ethics course that endorsed the death penalty for those who abandoned Islam and also supported gender segregation.

    The audit also claimed there was insufficient coverage of LGBTQ+ topics and an imbalance in religious representation at the school’s library. Additionally, authorities raised concerns over past Qatari financial contributions and the school’s refusal of an unannounced inspection in June 2022.

    The school is understood to be relying on previous inspections conducted by the National Education Department that found no grounds to revoke the contract and a 2020 report from the General Inspectorate of National Education which concluded that “nothing” indicated the school’s teachings violated republican principles.

    Despite this, administrative court rulings in February and July 2024 upheld the termination in preliminary hearings.

    The school’s legal representative, Sefen Guez Guez, warned that the decision could lead to “a slow death of the school,” which offers several scholarships to Muslim students and reportedly enjoys impressive regional rankings in performance.

    Education Minister Élisabeth Borne has defended the revocation of state subsidies, insisting it was based on “facts, both in the teaching that was delivered and in the remarks made by a certain number of officials of these establishments.”

    “This story was updated on Mar. 17, 2025, to delete erroneous reporting that U.S. Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard said President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin “are very good friends,’” the AP wrote in an editor’s note at the bottom of the story.

    A spokesperson for the AP told the Daily Caller News Foundation that the initial report was removed from their site because “it did not meet [their] standards.”

    After the initial story’s removal, the AP published a corrected story with Gabbard telling NDTV on Monday that Trump is “looking forward to success” ahead of his upcoming call with the Russian president Tuesday afternoon….”

    The President has plenary power over Security Clearances whereas the SSCI power in only recommends the granting or withholding Clearances, the Presidents powers override the SSCI. President Trump should revoke the Security Clearances of all the Federal Judges who he considers a problem thus removing them from FISA Court and all cases involving National Security.
