I couldn’t find a specific breed of horse for New Jersey, just the general term “horse” due to its importance in agriculture and economy.  So, I decided to focus on New Jersey Horse Rescue.

South Jersey Horse Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit horse rescue and rehabilitation facility.  Our mission is to provide a loving sanctuary to abandoned, neglected, abused, and slaughter bound horses. 

Donations pay for food, medicine, and veterinary services. We also use donations to buy horses at auction that would otherwise be sold to kill brokers, people who buy horses to sell them for meat in Mexico and Canada. About 90% of the horses that go through the slaughter lot are in perfect health.

What We Do

We evaluate and rehabilitate then re-home the horses we rescue. We do have some permanent residents, but strive to adopt out as many animals as possible to loving forever homes. We are 100% volunteer run and operate solely on donations.

We have been at this property doing our life saving work as a rescue for over 14 years. Our fearless leader Ellen and her trusty staff have helped adopt and rehome over 400 horses, ponies, and donkeys. We are still rescuing animals and will do anything it takes to save our beloved rescue.

    ENTIRE ARTICLE: “This ought to make the left happy; a major gang leader, who is on the FBI’s Most-Wanted list, has been captured in Mexico and is headed to the United States, not to be handed a bus ticket and a cell phone, but to face trial. FBI Director Kash Patel announced the capture on Tuesday.

    An alleged MS-13 senior gang leader on the FBI’s “Ten Most Wanted Fugitives” list is being extradited to the U.S. after his arrest in Mexico, FBI Director Kash Patel announced Tuesday.

    Francisco Javier Roman-Bardales was arrested on Monday in the mountains of the Gulf coast state of Veracruz by Mexican soldiers and federal agents. The FBI was offering a $250,000 reward for information on Bardales prior to his arrest.

    Information was obtained, it seems. Since Roman-Baraldes was captured in Mexico, we presume the Mexican authorities made the bust, but Director Patel noted that the MS-13 leader is already in the United States, and he will be standing trial here.

    “I can now confirm that last night, working with the Justice Department and other interagency partners, the FBI has extradited one of our ‘Ten Most Wanted’ from Mexico — one we believe to be a key senior leader of MS-13, Francisco Javier Roman-Bardales,” Patel announced in a statement.

    “He was arrested in Mexico and is being transported within the U.S. as we speak, where he will face American justice. This is a major victory both for our law enforcement partners and for a safer America. Thank you to our brave personnel for executing the mission. And thank you to Mexico’s SSPC and FGE teams for their support of the FBI in this investigation and arrest,” he added.

    It is belaboring the obvious to note that the world is a better place with this goblin behind bars. We should also note that he has plenty of compatriots right here in the United States, many, if not most, in the country illegally. Roman-Bardales’ capture is sending a message that they can be caught even south of the border.

    He faces serious charges: The FBI said Bardales faces charges in the Eastern District of New York relating to “several offenses for his alleged role in ordering numerous acts of violence against civilians and rival gang members, as well as his role in drug distribution and extortion schemes in the United States and El Salvador.”

    While the notion of Roman-Bardales facing an American trial is rather satisfying, it raised the question as to why he was brought to the United States at all, give the deal with have with El Salvador to keep people like this locked up. Roman-Baraldes is a member of a designated terrorist organization, and MS-13 has certainly lived up to that designation.

    But seeing him tried and (we hope) convicted will be satisfying as well. Better still, he may give up some of his fellow gang leaders. Omerta doesn’t always seem to be a big deal with these guys. It’s not the best time to be a drug cartel or gang member, and the screws are going to be tightened further still. 

    There are a lot more gang and cartel members waiting, but targeting their leadership is a great way to proceed.”

    Question: Shouldn’t high schoolers already know their ABCs? This is Reason #965 why the Department of Education deserves to be gutted.

    America’s public high schools are strange places to find displays of the alphabet. Perhaps with plummeting standardized test scores and a substantial increase in English-as-a-second-language students in sanctuary districts, high school educators feel the need to review kindergarten basics. In Fairfax County, Virginia’s West Springfield High School, located just 17 miles from the White House, school administrators and teachers have decorated the history hallway this month with a special, leftist rendition of the alphabet.

    The display, titled “The ABCs to ME,” is decorated with the school’s colors: a blue background lined with an orange border. Featured in the display is a sign that reads, “A is for Abortion” with an image of a coat hanger with a positive pregnancy test.

    Virginia’s abortion laws are among the most liberal, but the point is not information but indoctrination. The alphabet goes on to designate “H” for “Hope” with an image of Kamala Harris and “N” for “NOW” — not as in: “right now” — for the National Organization for Women. I guess because there is no Men’s History Month, they also had to designate “M” for “Mainsplain, and, get this:

    And to cap it all off, “Z is for male gaZe,” just proving to us once again, in case the poor test scores are not enough, that leftist education is more about indoctrination…….”

  14. Just The News: “The conservative legal group Judicial Watch on Tuesday sued the Department of Homeland Security for documents and data related to the July 13, 2024, assassination attempt against President Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania. 

    The lawsuit follows a Freedom of Information Act request filed shortly after the attempted assassin Thomas Crooks opened fire on Trump and the crowd, leaving the then-candidate wounded and one rally-goer dead. 

    The legal group has previously obtained records related to the event, including the Butler County District Attorney’s Office’s records on preparations for the rally and body-camera footage from the Butler Township police department, but said that its efforts to obtain records and data from the federal government have gone unanswered.

    “Federal agencies need to come clean on the events that led up to the assassination attempts on President Trump,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “It is now eight months since the first attempt, and the American people have yet to receive any answers under FOIA on the failures of the Biden administration to protect President Trump.”

    Judicial Watch said its FOIA request specifically targeted the Homeland Security Investigations unit, known as HSI, which reportedly helped provide security at the Pennsylvania rally.”

  15. Just The News: “The two NASA astronauts that have been stranded on the International Space Station for nine months splashed down in the Gulf of America after a SpaceX Capsule launched earlier this week to retrieve them. 

    Astronauts Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore launched in a Boeing Starliner spaceship last June, but were stranded on the station because of safety issues with their craft. The pair were only supposed to visit the International Space Station for one week. 

    Shortly after his inauguration earlier this year, President Donald Trump said that he asked Elon Musk and his company, SpaceX, to retrieve the astronauts from the ISS. “The POTUS has asked SpaceX to bring home the 2 astronauts stranded on the Space Station as soon as possible. We will do so,” Musk wrote on X. “Terrible that the Biden administration left them there [for] so long.”

    SpaceX has successfully launched 13 prior crewed missions to the International Space Station for NASA.”
