    1. Good morning, Pat! Do you have a humidifier going? That always helps me when I have a cold. At least half (or more) of the snow melted yesterday, then re-froze, of course. Temp is at 15 but it will rise quickly with the bright sunshine. Still no sign of Wheezer.

Just The News: “The Trump Organization on Friday sued Capital One bank for allegedly closing hundreds of its accounts in the aftermath of the January 6 riot in 2021.

The bank allegedly closed more than 300 of the company’s accounts in June of 2021, months after the riot, even though they had been customers of the bank for decades, according to NBC News.

The lawsuit, which was filed in Florida, alleged that the bank’s actions were the result of “political and social motivations.”

“[Plaintiffs] have reason to believe that Capital One’s unilateral decision came about as a result of political and social motivations and Capital One’s unsubstantiated, ‘woke’ beliefs that it needed to distance itself from President Trump and his conservative political views,” the lawsuit said.

“In essence, Capital One ‘de-banked’ Plaintiffs’ Accounts because Capital One believed that the political tide at the moment favored doing so,” it added.

The Organization is seeking a declaratory judgment that the bank improperly terminated the Trump companies’ accounts, along with punitive and monetary damages for “the devastating impact” the closures had on the company.

“The decision by Capital One to ‘debank’ our company, after well over a decade, was a clear attack on free speech and free enterprise that flies in the face of the bedrock principles and freedoms that define our country,” Eric Trump, who helps run the Trump Organization, said in a statement.

“Moreover, the arbitrary closure of these accounts, without justifiable cause, reflects a broader effort to silence and undermine the success of the Trump Organization and those who dare to express their political views,” he added.

Capital One has denied the allegations, stating that it “has not and does not close customer accounts for political reasons.”

      1. Morning Filly!
we have a humidifier running at night year round for my sinuses. it really helps. his fever broke in the middle of the night and he says he feels better. he wants to go this morning but the winds are tremendous and kicking up the snow that fell overnight. not sure if we’re going yet or not. we lost another tree top with the winds. But this is in the treeline behind the woodshed and doesn’t affect anything.

        1. Yeah, I kicked myself immediately after posting that when I remembered that you DO have one. My advice would be not to go – his fever can come back yet….IMO, he needs to build up his system some first.

The state of Missouri won a multi-billion dollar lawsuit against China for its role in the COVID-19 pandemic after none of the defendants showed up to court.

China refused to appear in court, according to Bailey’s office. Instead, Beijing dispatched a Chinese government surrogate to litigate its lawsuit on its behalf to shield itself from legal repercussions, Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey’s office asserted in a legal filing on Friday.

“A Missouri federal judge ordered China and the other defendants on Friday to pay the state “an amount of $24,488,825,457.00,” with post-judgment interest “at a rate of 3.91 percent, compounded annually.” The People’s Republic of China and co-defendants, including the Wuhan Institute of Virology, “failed to appear or otherwise answer after being properly served, and [are] therefore in default,” Senior U.S. District Judge Stephen Limbaugh wrote in his order.”

This is how we “legally” reclaim our farmland, businesses, land around bases, etc. without nationalizing. Chyna will not pay the judgments and they no longer have Dems running interference in the federal government. If they challenge the rulings of the judgments they open themselves up to evidential inquiries and depositions that blow the whole COVID mess out of the water and subject themselves to international claims.

The states and feds (as applicable) can seize the assets to satisfy the judgments legally now. It is really a brilliant strategy. Checkmate. If your state does not pursue this, you know they are protecting the uniparty and Chyna.

  4. good post–I brought it all–to help us regain perspective i think.

Democrats have nothing. Well, that’s not entirely true. They are still adept at getting Republicans to eat each other’s lunch. It works like this. Every side has factions and pundits scrabbling for eyeballs, which results in (at least) two things. Click bait bullshit headlines and hyperbolic exhortations.

Dems do it, Bees do it, everyone does it- well, maybe not bees. But you get the point. And Democrats know that Republicans can be easily led to any trough filled with alleged broken Republican promises where they will heartily feed and spread the poison amongst themselves.

The circle jerk quickly becomes a circular firing squad, and no, I’m not claiming’ we’re immune, but I’ve debunked more than a few acts of internet fraud from both directions in my time so in all things balance, I suppose.
    No TRE?

First, you create opportunities, especially without a target-rich environment. RFKJ and Pam Bondi have been early targets of this scheme by the left. A plot that Jeff Childers succinctly enuerates as,Step One: Pick an effective conservative figure with influence or political power. Step Two: Wait for them to do something even slightly open to interpretation. Step Three: Seed social media with just enough innuendo to turn skepticism into a purity spiral. Step Four: Place the popcorn bag in the microwave, label side down.

For the record, we get many requests to jump on this bandwagon and decline most of them (with the obvious recent exception of a prominent NH political PAC that misplaced $169,000, which is Republican donor money down some mysterious Republican House Leadership USAID hole—clarification still pending). That is not speculation or the elevation of nothing in an effort to make it something. It is something and under investigation at the highest levels of the same government, so we expect little joy by the end. But I digress.

RFKJ didn’t do all the anti-vaxxer things, disband the FDA, or invert the food pyramid (yet). Fauci’s rotting carcass isn’t dangling from a noose outside DHS. What the hell, Bobby? So that’s the end of the Trump agenda as we know it. Or, not. It’s been six weeks. Take a breath.

SCOTUS’s recent “ruling” on the TRO meant to prevent Trump from cutting foreign USAID aid is another. The ‘right’ is ready to play Proglodyte and parade around Roberts’ and Barrett’s residences with Guillotines (readily available from any nearby left-wing activist supply store). Be skeptical and analytical but responsible. We don’t know a lot, and it is a strange jerk of the knee from people who frame this Presidency and its pieces like 3D chess one moment then as dupes of the system in the next.

I’m not saying there’s no history to support that, but they can’t be Moriarty and a dopey street thug. The latter is typically the better choice, followed by pleasant but cautious surprise when something goes the right way. And it’s still early days. We also have to remember it won’t all get sorted. Take the points and then get the ball back.

Pam Bondi is also on the hook over the non-release of the notorious Epstein files, which include the names of important people whom a mass of center-right activists would like to prove are pedophiles. Right now, dammit. The first release, on paper, appeared useless, but as we’ve speculated elsewhere, it was a head fake to get the DOJ up inside the Southern District of New York’s grill to clean house.

The center-right presumes the immediate lack of grand jury indictments means nothing will get done, and they have plenty of reason to believe that. But the left has gone all in criticizing Bondi over something they don’t want to have happen. Childers continues with a few breadcrumbs leading to what appears to be another Dem psyop. Here are the red flags that Bondi’s character assassination is a psyop. First, Democrats are gleefully joining in. These are the same people shrieking about DOGE getting access to private IRS files, but now, they suddenly reject the idea that Pam might need to redact witness and source information? When did Democrats become the champions of full disclosure? Second, all the angst is based solely on guesses about Pam’s dark motives, with zero rational examination of the actual facts. Here’s a fact: If Pam releases the Epstein files too quickly and even one accidentally unredacted sex-trafficked victim claims her life is ruined—or if one confidential source is put “in danger”—Democrats will never shut up about it. And they’ll use it to take down the entire Trump Administration. It will be evidence of Trump’s recklessness and “moving too fast.” That’s the minefield Pam is tiptoeing through. …

He reminds us that Bndi has only been there a few weeks and that the antagonistic FBI is not going to just comply -even with Kash Patel leaning on them (he just got there too). “And yet, some people think she can just log in, click “Epstein Files.zip,” and hit “Download.” Guys, be serious. Realistically, pulling it all together could take years.”

The problem is that promises were made that could not be met on the advertised schedule, which rightly plays back into the larger problem we see: No one in Washington ever goes to jail, so is this more of that?

Given the yuge avalanche of positive Trump activity in the opening weeks, I’d give them the benefit of the doubt. There has never been anything like this. Not only has the dust not settled from the opening salvos, but this President continues to stir up more dust with no obvious sign of slowing down, and Democrats are desperate to find a way to stop the Trump train.

Using their still prodigeous resources to warp public opinion to do that will never end but that doesn’t mean we need to help them do it.

I’m not suggesting blind devotion; that’s absurd. Patience, however, is a virtue. Collect your receipts. Air your concerns. But do not carry the Democrats’ water. And the Epstein files are not much more than a dunk tank waiting for some famous person to take the bench so we can throw hardballs at the actuator. It will not close the border, lead to peace, lower the price of eggs, create jobs, or reduce crime.

It’ll be fun, perhaps with the occasional I told you so, but the CIA asset’s party list probably has some sensitive stuff in it. And sure, we just want names, but do we also wish for context? Did they all get caught in the underage honey trap and diddle minors, or just some of them? It would be a crime to implicate the innocent as pedos if it were not accurate – I think that’s still something we stand behind, yes?

    Anyway,

I’ll leave you on a happy note. This woman has had a road-to-Damascus moment, and I suspect that we could all learn a thing or two (or be reminded of them) from her.“I voted for Democrats my whole life. They never did anything they promised. Once they got our vote, they never did anything they promised.” “I vote for a Republican once in my life, and this dude done everything he promised.” 🔥🔥🔥 pic.twitter.com/RyWRNyg9eu — KᗴᒪᒪᗴY ✰ (@Patriotmom717) February 25, 2025

  5. “Biden-Backed Green Group Wired $651M in Taxpayer Money to Credit Union Accounts.”

Free Beacon, Thomas Catenacci. March 7, 2025

Joe Biden speaks on Earth Day (Andrew Harnik/Getty Images)

EXCERPT: “The Environmental Protection Agency has no ability to track or conduct oversight of more than $650 million in taxpayer funds that a Biden-backed green group wired to dozens of credit union accounts last month, the agency told the Washington Free Beacon.

In mid-February, the New York-based eco group Inclusiv—which received $1.9 billion last year as part of the EPA’s $27 billion Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund program—transferred $651 million to 108 credit unions across 27 states and Puerto Rico. The group said the credit unions would use the funding to offer financing for green energy projects such as solar installations and electric vehicle chargers within their jurisdictions.

Inclusiv initiated the transfer on the same day that EPA administrator Lee Zeldin discovered that the Biden administration had parked $20 billion in Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund funding in accounts at an outside financial institution, limiting federal control and oversight of the money. In collaboration with the Department of Justice, Zeldin ultimately froze the accounts, but not before Inclusiv completed its transaction.

“The passthrough structure of these grants is a significant deviation from how EPA regularly conducts oversight of grantees,” EPA spokeswoman Molly Vaseliou told the Free Beacon. “EPA has no visibility nor role into understanding how these taxpayer dollars are being spent on the ground.”

Traditionally, the EPA selects which projects to fund and distributes grants directly to developers. In this case, however, Inclusiv solicited grant applications from credit unions who will then select which projects the federal funds will finance and determine the terms developers must meet—a setup that takes the EPA entirely out of the loop…..”

Better than nothing, but not good enough:

🚨The Trump administration has issued a new memorandum aimed at combatting those seeking universal injunctions against it to halt its policies.

It is going to demand that per federal rules of civil procedure, those bringing the cases put up injunction bonds.

  7. EXCERPT: “The progressive fundraising powerhouse ActBlue, which has funded Democrat candidates and causes for two decades, has entered a death spiral as executives flee and investigations mount.

ActBlue, the online fund-raising organization that powers Democratic candidates, has plunged into turmoil, with at least seven senior officials resigning late last month and a remaining lawyer suggesting he faced internal retaliation.

According to the letter from the ActBlue unions, which has not been previously reported and was confirmed as authentic by three people briefed on its contents, the senior staff departures began on Feb. 21. That day, ActBlue’s customer service and partnerships directors, who had both worked at the group for more than a decade, left, according to the unions’ letter.

“Now, my primary mission is rest,” Alyssa Twomey, ActBlue’s departing vice president for customer service, wrote on social media. “After 14+ years of living and breathing all things ActBlue, it’s time for a reset. I’m taking an intentional pause before setting course for my next adventure.”

The next week, several other senior officials left, including the associate general counsel — who was the highest-ranking legal officer at ActBlue — the assistant research director, a human resources official, the chief revenue officer and an engineer who had spent 16 years building and maintaining the electronic pipes through which the group’s donations flow.

As these people left, Zain Ahmad, who was the last remaining lawyer in the ActBlue general counsel’s office, wrote in an internal Slack message on Feb. 26 that his access to email and other internal platforms had been cut off and that other messages he had posted in Slack had been deleted, according to a screenshot obtained by The New York Times. Mr. Ahmad is now on leave from ActBlue, according to a person briefed on the group’s staffing.

What could be happening that would cause most of the executives and all but one of the lawyers to flee a sweet gig? Former RedState colleague Bill Shipley has some insights.

I have no information on this subject but ….

In my experience, this kind of thing starts to happen a large businesses with shady operating practices when law enforcement starts to make contact with senior officials about want to ask them some questions.

That leads to lawyers getting involved.

That leads to lawyers telling their clients that it would be in their interest to part ways with the enterprise.

During the 2024 campaign, we began to see a lot of suspicious activity that indicated federal election campaign violations on a Biblical scale…..”

  8. “Today, the Trump Organization filed a lawsuit in Miami-Dade County against @CapitalOne to hold the bank accountable for their egregious conduct in unjustifiably terminating over 300 of the company’s bank accounts without cause, in 2021.

The decision by Capital One to “debank” our company, after well over a decade, was a clear attack on free speech and free enterprise that flies in the face of the bedrock principles and freedoms that define our country. Moreover, the arbitrary closure of these accounts, without justifiable cause, reflects a broader effort to silence and undermine the success of the Trump Organization and those who dare to express their political views.

By filing this lawsuit, we seek to hold Capital One accountable for the millions of dollars in damages they caused, not just to our company, but to the many dozens of properties, hundreds of tenants and thousands of Trump Organization employees who relied on these accounts for their livelihoods.

Businesses should not be targeted or punished for their political affiliations. The actions taken by Capital One and other major financial institutions represents a dangerous precedent that could threaten the operations of countless businesses across the nation, particularly those with a strong and independent voice.

This lawsuit, and those that follow, are necessary steps to protect the integrity of American business practices and to ensure that no company or individual is unfairly targeted for their beliefs, affiliations, or business activities. We will not stand by while big banks misuse their power to stifle businesses and harm innocent Americans.”

  9. EXCERPT: “….But Pope Francis and too many cardinals and bishops have not spent their time defending the Church. Quite the opposite. And speaking personally from my own conversations with fellow Catholics, we are sick of it. We are sick of the deference to hostile political ideologies. We’re sick of the pandering to wokeness. We’re sick of the anti-American and anti-Western bigotry being spewed under the guise of compassion. Many of us are one papal election away from leaving the Church permanently or, at any case, at least until it gets its act together and gives us a pope worthy of the seat of St. Peter.

Give us another Pope Leo I who, armed only with the Gospel, stood at the gates of Rome in 452 AD and convinced Attila the Hun and his armies to spare the city from destruction.

Give us another Pope Urban II, who recognized that the continuous and bloody expansion of Islam into Byzantium and southern Europe wasn’t just localized attacks on those particular kingdoms but a theologically-sanctioned extermination of all of Western Christendom and who launched the First Crusade in 1095 AD to reverse this expansion.

Give us another Pope Innocent III, Pope Sixtus V, Pope Adrian VI, or any number of other popes who relentlessly rooted out institutional corruption.

Give us another Pope Pius XII who, though living in fascist Italy, openly condemned Nazism and established a rescue network which was responsible for saving hundreds of thousands of Jews from genocide.

Give us another Pope John Paul II, who stood up to both communism and secular hedonism, who helped liberate Poland, and who was instrumental in helping to bring down the Soviet Union.

Give us the popes who built breathtaking cathedrals, who united and defended Christendom, who led by example, and who were unapologetic about the faith.

Pope Francis and his ilk not only fail to defend the religion itself, but they also attack the very downtrodden and voiceless they’re charged with shepherding. They dilute the timeless teachings of any real meaning. They shatter the trust and reliability they’re supposed to uphold and strengthen. They rob the faithful of their very dignity by scolding them for their right to protect their own homes. And they do so from atop the very high, very secure walls of the Vatican. To quote Dickens, “Oh God! To hear the insect on the leaf pronouncing on the too much life among his hungry brothers in the dust!”

The Catholic Church — indeed, most Christian denominations — all have their own Deep States to contend with. These “Christian” bureaucracies all push the woke agenda that differs little from what the Squad peddles and, as a result, the Christian world continues to shrink at the expense of an aggressively colonialist and genocidal Islam. This is bad for everybody, including atheists and leftists, many of whom erroneously assume they’re not being exploited as easily manipulated, useful idiots to be disposed of once their usefulness subsides.

If the woke trend continues in our churches, it won’t mean that believing Christians will simply stop believing. But it does mean they’ll stop coming to church. And it means that Christendom will become more isolated, more fractured, and more powerless.

The Christian world is screaming at the top of its lungs for real inspiration and leadership, not finger-wagging lectures from liberation theology Marxists in pastors’ clothing about how our desire to stem the flow of Islamic rapists and mass murderers into our civilization nations makes us all evil racists.

So I beg, I implore, I plead with the College of Cardinals to get the Church back on track. Call it the MPGA (Make the Papacy Great Again) election. Parishioners vote with their feet. We can’t force your choice of pope, but you can’t force our choice of attendance. We day to day Christians will continue to serve God regardless, but Christendom would be much better served if we work together.

The ball is in your court.”

“7 Investigates: MA woman buys a home but courts say she can’t live in it”

WHDH, By SAMANTHA KUMMERER, March 3, 2025

    (Video)

PLYMOUTH, MASS. (WHDH) – The excitement of moving back home was quickly replaced by shock for Meghan McIntyre. “It’s like a never-ending nightmare,” McIntyre said.

The nightmare started last fall when McIntyre and her boyfriend decided to move back to Plymouth and purchase their own home. Months later, instead of moving into the house they bought, they are forced to rent an apartment while also paying the mortgage on a home they aren’t allowed to live in. Instead, someone else is living in the house.

“I never knew something like this could happen,” McIntyre said. She believed the foreclosed property they purchased was vacant and abandoned. However, after she got the keys, the surprises started.

“We got a call actually the day that we were moving back up here. We got a call from someone who was living there previously. Never an owner. Never a tenant. Never paid rent. She wanted to move back in, we said no,” McIntyre recalled. The surprises didn’t stop there. “The next day we got a call from the housing court that we had a court date,” she said. The judge ruled that McIntyre had to give the woman the keys and allow her to stay at the house.

Court records show the woman who was fighting to stay in the house was the daughter of the previous owner. She had lived in the house and cared for her mother until she died without a will. The woman told the court she never abandoned the house and was in the hospital when it was sold. The judge ruled she can stay in the house.

“I’m not trying to make anyone homeless but at the end of the day, it is putting a huge burden on me and something that I didn’t sign up for just as a civilian to have to take responsibility for someone,” McIntyre said.

Real estate attorney Jordana Greenman said the case isn’t such a shock to her. “Is it horrifying? Absolutely. Should this be happening? Absolutely not. Can it happen? Yes,” Greenman said. She explained even when a home goes through foreclosure, the new owners can’t evict anyone without a court order.

“It is another one of those things that in Massachusetts with all of the consumer protection rules, nobody can be unhoused per se, without a court order,” Greenman explained. “It might boil down to how much are they willing to pay to get this person out. And then they’ll go, which is really very upsetting. It should not be so difficult.” Greenman has handled multiple cases that involve evictions following a foreclosure. She said the process can be lengthy and costly.

McIntyre learned all of this the hard way. Before she could even pursue an eviction, a judge ordered her to pay for a whole list of expenses. McIntyre said they had to pay to restore the floors after they ripped up the carpet to replace them. McIntyre is paying the utility bills and even had to put the woman up in a hotel and pay for her meals when the heat stopped working in the home.

McIntyre said this is on top of her paying for the mortgage, HOA fees and rent. She estimated they are paying around $10,000 a month just in housing.

7 Investigates spoke with the woman living in McIntyre’s house. She called the situation ‘terrible’ but declined to comment further.

“I’m doing what I believe is right and I’m sure she is doing what she believes is right in her own way so I think the justice system isn’t stepping up and helping either of us,” McIntyre said. “It’s just an ongoing circle and nothing is getting resolved.”

McIntyre did file an eviction case. To avoid going to trial and dragging the wait out more, they reached an agreement. Under the deal, the woman gets to stay until the end of March and McIntyre has to pay her $7,500 to put towards a new apartment.

Experts warn buying a foreclosed home can be risky. Greenman suggests anyone who is considering it runs a title search and tries to gather as much information as possible regarding the property and any former occupants.”

  11. SMH – just go ahead and hand over the UK to the Islamists, idiots!!! This is what happens when a country allows religion to rule!!! If it is allowed with Christianity, it must be allowed with ALL religions! Hello, Sharia Law!!!

EXCERPT: “Leftist lawmakers in Britain have argued that being in possession of pictures of Muslim women without their hijab headscarves should be a crime akin to child pornography.

Impending legislation originally intended to crack down on revenge porn should include the prohibition against having images of Muslim women’s faces without their hijab if the photos were taken without their express permission.

The Women and Equalities Committee in the House of Commons argued that such pictures should be considered “non-consensual intimate images” and, therefore, come with similar penalties as possessing child pornography, including lengthy prison sentences, the Daily Mail reported.

If government ministers sign off the committee’s proposal, it could become a crime in Britain as early as this year.

At present, the law defines “intimate” images as those in which a person is seen fully or partially nude, is engaging in a sexual act, or is seen using the bathroom.

Responding to the call to criminalise some pictures of Muslim women without hijabs, David Spencer of the Policy Exchange think tank said: “Tackling the problem of ‘revenge porn’ is clearly important – but expanding this to so-called ‘culturally intimate’ images risks extending the criminal law too far.

“The police cannot be expected to wade into so-called ‘cultural’ issues when officers are already struggling to deal with the volume of stabbings, sexual assaults and thefts that occur every day. The Government should be cautious about creating yet more criminal offences.”

Remarkably, the proposed rule is already in a state of de facto enforcement in the United Kingdom, as illustrated by a recent case of an English police force withdrawing the mugshot of an Islamic State terrorist and reissuing it with her wearing a full-face covering after a court challenge…..”

Just The News: “Congressional negotiators unveiled a 99-page spending bill that would keep the government funded through the start of the fiscal year 2026.

If passed by March 14, the bill would avoid government shutdown. The bill largely maintains current spending levels the same. Read the bill here.”

  18. JUST IN: 🚨🚨NORAD reports there was yet another flight incursion over Palm Beach this morning. A F-16 fighter jet was dispatched to escort the general aviation aircraft out of the area. This is the 20th incursion since Inauguration Day. This is a national security issue.

    @JDVance

Today while walking my 3 year old daughter a group of “Slava Ukraini” protesters followed us around and shouted as my daughter grew increasingly anxious and scared. I decided to speak with the protesters in the hopes that I could trade a few minutes of conversation for them leaving my toddler alone. (Nearly all of them agreed.) It was a mostly respectful conversation, but if you’re chasing a 3-year-old as part of a political protest, you’re a shit person.

BREAKING: Per multiple law enforcement sources, the two men arrested by Inglewood PD yesterday for allegedly shooting & killing a man who tried to stop them from stealing his neighbor’s catalytic converter are both illegal aliens with extensive criminal histories, w/ each having over a dozen arrests in Los Angeles County in recent years. I’m told ICE detainers on one suspect have been ignored 12 times in recent years.

I’m told Wilber Alberto Rabanales (blue shirt) is a Guatemalan national who has been arrested at least 15 times in Los Angeles County in recent years on predominantly gun, grand theft, burglary, and drug charges. His rap sheet is 11 pages long.

It includes numerous grand theft arrests, mostly for stealing catalytic converters, multiple DUIs, conspiracy, felon in possession of a gun, possession of burglary tools, possession of meth, possession of stolen property, and felony hit and run during police pursuit.

I’m told Jose Christian Saravia Sanchez (flower shirt) is a Salvadoran national who has been arrested at least a dozen times in Los Angeles County in recent years. His rap sheet is 6 pages long. It includes arrests for numerous grand thefts, concealed firearm in car, kidnapping, numerous possession of meth and possession of burglary tools.

Mugshots provided by law enforcement source.

The victim, Juan (Johnny) Sanchez, was killed last Tuesday when he heard a noise outside his home and confronted both suspects as they were trying to steal the catalytic converter from his neighbor’s car. He was shot in the chest, and part of the confrontation was caught on video.

Sanchez leaves behind a wife and two children.

  22. I am adding a short daily prayer to the board. I would invite each of you, if you wish, to also add one or maybe two of your own liking. I do not want to stifle anyone but please limit yourself to one or two religious postings. here’s one I found that I liked.
