Nevada State Mammal” Big Horn Sheep

The bighorn sheep is a majestic species of animal native to western North America. They are considered a “big game” trophy in many parts of the world and have been hunted by humans for their meat and fur since ancient times. Bighorn sheep are not only the largest sheep in North America, they are also wild. In this article, you’ll learn 8 facts about bighorn sheep.

8 Facts about bighorn sheep

These magnificent mammals are some of the first animals that come to mind when we think of the North American West and they were once a major source of food and income for humans living in areas where they reside.

1 The bighorn sheep is one of two wild sheep species in North America with large horns

Bighorn sheep are not the only wild sheep in North America with large horns. The other is the Dall sheep, which is found in Alaska and Canada. But unlike the Dall sheep, bighorn sheep are found throughout western North America, with populations in the US states of Arizona, California, Colorado, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, and Washington as well as the Canadian provinces of Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan.

2 The bighorn sheep has 3 subspecies

The Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep, the desert bighorn sheep, and the Sierra Nevada bighorn sheep are each a part of the single bighorn sheep subspecies. Each subspecies has adaptations to help it survive, such as fur color and terrain.

The Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep is the largest of the 3 subspecies and has adaptations to survive its harsh surroundings. These sheep have large hooves that help them traverse rocky, mountainous terrain with ease. Additionally, they are able to eat plants found in these areas, such as grasses and shrubs. As a result, they have longer coats to help insulate them from the cold.

The desert bighorn sheep has adaptations to survive in its hot and arid climate. These sheep have shorter, coarser fur that can withstand intense heat, as well as large noses to help them avoid breathing in dust. They also tend to travel only at night when it is cool and avoid areas where there is a lot of vegetation.

The Sierra Nevada bighorn sheep has adaptations to survive its high, dry climate. These sheep have longer fur that helps insulate them from the cold, as well as large hooves that can help them traverse challenging terrain. Additionally, these sheep are also able to eat plants in their environments, such as fungi and woody shrubs.

3 Rams and ewes have differently shaped horns

Rams are male sheep and ewes are female sheep. A rams’ horns are thicker and curve forward and ewes have more slender horns that stick straight out from their heads. This difference is important for the sheep population to survive because rams use their horns as a defense against predators and competition from other males, as well as for fighting and courting females.

4 Bighorn sheep can climb steep cliffs without much effort

Bighorn sheep are known for their ability to climb steep cliffs with relative ease. They have strong neck muscles, and their hooves are able to cling to even the roughest of surfaces. These traits help them find food during certain times of the year when food may be scarce, such as in the winter months or in more arid regions. This adaptation also helps them to evade predators.

5 Bighorn sheep have 4-part stomachs

Bighorn sheep are ruminants, meaning that they have a four-part stomach. After their first meal, which usually consists of grass and other plants, bighorn sheep chew their cud – or regurgitated food – before digesting it again. Their digestive system is specially designed to let them eat and process fiber-rich vegetation from harsh environments.

6 Rams spend most of their lives in a bachelor flock

Rams leave their mother’s ewe group a few years after being born to go join a herd of rams. This is known as a bachelor flock. This bachelor herd can be anywhere from two rams to over 10 and they only leave the herd during mating season. The rams spend most of their lives in this bachelor flock.

7 Rams fight over who is allowed to mate with the ewes

It can be hard for rams younger than 7 or 8 years to mate. Bighorn sheep have a hierarchy that favors older rams with bigger horns, making it difficult for younger rams to find a mate. During the mating season, known as the rut, rams will compete against each other for dominance and the right to mate with ewes. This competition can take up to a month, with rams fighting aggressively using their horns to battle it out. Only one ram will be selected to mate with the ewes, and after mating, the victorious rams will return to their bachelor herds.

Despite these challenges, many younger rams are able to successfully find a mate during the rut. Ultimately, it all comes down to size and dominance – larger and older rams are more likely to win in the mating battles and are therefore more likely to find a mate. However, even small rams can get lucky if they manage to outsmart or intimidate their larger competitors.

8 The skulls of bighorn sheep are made for head-to-head combat that males engage in

The bighorn sheep is a species of large, sturdy-looking mammal with thick fur and huge curved horns. These horns can measure up to three feet in length, allowing the bighorns to engage in head-to-head combat with one another. The skulls of the males are particularly suited for this; they have thick bones that can withstand the repeated battering that occurs during fights. This is an important aspect of bighorn sheep adaptation, as competition for females is fierce among males.

  1. The more DOGE is in operation, uncovering heinous scam and fraud and abuse of the American Taxpayer – the more I want President Trump to eliminate USAID, CFPB, and the Department of Education and to establish a permanent new Department – The Federal Agency for Financial Oversight FAFO

The FAFO agency will have to examine and approve expenditures – before they can be disbursed by the US Treasury!

FAFO will examine and approve and publish to the public:

-every Bill passed by Congress before it can even be voted on.

    -every program proposed by Congress

-every grant proposed by every agency

    -every proposal for foreign aid

-every agency’s rent, expenditures, employee hiring, firing and productivity

-eliminate frivolous spending by Congress for naughty boy slut payoffs.

-every Budget must be balanced before it can be approved.

Curbing Congress’ largesse and spending power and fiscal transparency will be a good thing indeed for the financial future of the USA!

    1. Every elected official should also have to submit a full financial report of personal and ‘other’ financial endeavors such as tax shelters, off-shore accounts, non-profits, etc. They should not be allowed to get money from lobbyists, foreign governments or other corporate interests and then vote to enrich those interests.

Corporations, such as pharmaceutical companies, food manufacturers should also have to report and get approval before donating money to federal agencies such as FDA, NIH, EPA to the FAFO.

  3. Just The News: “Wisconsin GOP Sen. Ron Johnson on Thursday praised Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., stating he was “unbelievably responsive” and would be providing him with “terabytes” of HHS data on Friday.

Johnson expressed optimism in all of President Donald Trump’s Cabinet picks, and members of his new administration, but highlighted Kennedy’s commitment to providing transparency on issues like vaccine safety.

“Literally, before I just got on this podcast with you, I got a call from Bobby Kennedy reassuring me that he’s dedicated to radical transparency,” Johnson told John Solomon on his “John Solomon Reports” podcast. “Kennedy is unbelievably responsive. I told him I was not happy with the production based on our subpoena or the follow-up phone call. I mean, he texted me like within 30 seconds of me texting him.

“I think he’s actually shaking things up,” he continued. “We’re apparently going to get some terabytes worth of information tomorrow. So we’ll see. I’m more than willing to give these new secretaries the time and certainly respect. I know they’re dedicated to doing this.”

The comment comes just days after Johnson and Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley demanded that the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) produce records related to former President Joe Biden’s alleged use of a personal email address to conduct official government business related to his family’s financial dealings.

Johnson said he was also “encouraged” by the new NARA archivist, stating they were also committed to being transparent.”

  4. Just The News: “The Senate on Thursday advanced Education Secretary nominee Linda McMahon’s nomination in a critical vote along party lines, setting her nomination up for a final vote early next week.

The Senate invoked cloture on the nomination in a 51-47 vote, which sets her confirmation up for a full vote on Monday. No Democrat supported advancing the nomination. The Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions cleared her nomination last week.

President Donald Trump nominated McMahon, who served as co-chair of his transition team, last year. She previously led the Small Business Administration during Trump’s first term, and served as chairwoman of the board for America First Policy Institute.

The vote comes after McMahon confirmed that she supported Trump’s plan to abolish the Education Department. “President Trump believes that the bureaucracy in Washington should be abolished so that we can return education to the states, where it belongs,” McMahon wrote in a statement on Monday. “I wholeheartedly support and agree with this mission.”

During the 2024 presidential election, Trump promised to end the DOE and send education back to the states.”

  5. Just The News: “The supply and demand imbalance across the power grid spells trouble for the future. The acceleration of fossil fuel plant retirements, coupled with long construction timelines for cleaner alternatives, means Pennsylvania needs to find a way to bridge the gap amid a projected 20% rise in energy demand over the next four years.

For Gov. Josh Shapiro, that means considering anything and everything to solve the problem – like leaving PJM, the regional transmission organization that manages the power grid for 65 million people east of the Mississippi.

The step would be unprecedented. PJM traces its history to 1927, when utility companies in Pennsylvania and New Jersey banded together in a first-of-its-kind power pool. Over the intervening 100 years, the organization grew its footprint across 13 states in the mid-Atlantic and Midwest, becoming the largest power grid operator in the country.

Pennsylvania is the “P” in PJM, at least for now, and its where 25% of the power necessary to run the grid is generated.

“It has proven, over the last number of years, too darn hard to get enough new generation projects off the ground because of how slow PJM’s queue is,” Shapiro said Thursday. “So we are exploring all options here in Pennsylvania, including removing ourselves from PJM, going it alone, and determining if that is a better course for both consumer pricing and power generation in our commonwealth.”

The governor’s comments come after he filed a complaint with federal regulators to compel PJM to adjust the math used in its power pricing auctions and speed up the approval of new energy projects.

Without the action, the cost to run the power grid would have climbed 800% as of June 1, meaning utility bills will skyrocket by roughly 30%, according to multiple estimates. Democratic governors in four other states in the power grid’s territory, as well as consumer protection organizations, backed the complaint. Last month, PJM agreed to submit a price cap adjustment that would lower the cost from $500 per megawatt day to $325.

The small victory for Shapiro is short-lived, however, unless the generation gap is solved. On Thursday, the governor joined Gecko Robotics and NAES, the nation’s largest independent power operator, to announce a new partnership that will use artificial intelligence and robots to monitor and defend existing generation facilities, while attracting younger workers to the field.

“We need more generation and the incredibly important work that’s happening at Gecko, and as a result of this partnership … is really critical to deal with this time period that it takes to produce more energy to get more generation out there,” Shapiro said. “But it is not the only answer.”

  6. EXCERPT: “For those who believe politically weaponized justice is injustice, Pam Bondi running the Department of Justice and Kash Patel at the helm of the FBI feels like a warm spring breeze after a brutally cold winter. For those who turned federal law enforcement into the Stasi and cheered on the myriad abuses (I’m looking at you Schiff, you weasel), things are about to get, well, difficult.

There’s much to look forward to in the reckoning that Trump 2.0 is bringing to the people who transformed America’s DOJ into a banana republic. It’s long past time for accountability and, hopefully, justice served to the wicked.

Transparency is absolutely essential in that pursuit. Patel could go a long way on that front by lifting the Biden-era FBI shroud over the records from some of the most egregious crimes committed and covered up in the name of identity politics. In particular, America could use much more light on the dark minds of gender-bending killers.

Case in point, Audrey Hale, the 28-year-old woman masquerading as a man who nearly two years ago stormed into a Nashville Christian school and gunned down three children and three adult staff members. The FBI and the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department have refused to turn over Hale’s manifesto, absurdly claiming that doing so could harm their “ongoing investigation.” Police responding to the Covenant School attack on March 27, 2023 fatally shot the killer. Police have said there are no other suspects. There is nothing more to investigate.

So why the holdup? Why have law enforcement in leftist-led Nashville and at the Biden administration Department of Justice fought multiple attempts — including several open records lawsuits — to release the documents?

Because they had an agenda and, it seems, something to hide……”

One of the most important elections in America is happening on April 1st and barely anyone is paying attention. It’s so crucial that conservative activist Scott Presler has issued a dire warning that every conservative should be talking about Wisconsin’s Supreme Court election.

Why? Because George Soros [aka CIA – W] is trying to buy the court—again. His goal is a mixed bag of Marxist maneuvers, but the biggest one is gerrymandering. If he gets his candidate on the bench, they’ll redraw congressional maps and set the stage for Dems to take back the House in 2026.

This is a big deal, and Scott is stunned that nobody’s talking about it. We finally have a shot at stopping Soros in his tracks, yet conservatives seem asleep at the wheel.

  7. “Gabbard: Biden Admin Knew About the Perverted Chats at Our Intel Agencies for Years, Didn’t Give a Damn”

Red State, By Bob Hoge | 6:00 AM on February 28, 2025

    AP Photo/Alex Brandon

ENTIRE ARTICLE: “Am I the only one who thinks that Joe Biden’s obsession with promoting LBGTQIA+ issues and transgenderism in the federal government and the military was a little a lot weird?

No, of course I’m not the only one, and plenty of other people noticed it too because there was something disturbing about an octogenarian commander-in-chief supposedly focused on our national security and prosperity being so concerned over who people were being intimate with and what was in their pants.

As we reported, it turns out that there were some highly sexualized chat rooms allowed to operate in Biden’s national security agencies for years, and nobody on his team stopped to think that maybe instead of focusing on unusual bedroom practices, they should be focused on keeping us safe.

On Wednesday, following Trump’s first Cabinet meeting of his second term, new Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard revealed that not only did the Biden weirdos know what was going on—they simply didn’t care.

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard said former President Joe Biden’s administration was aware of “very sexually explicit, highly inappropriate and unprofessional chatter” happening on internal agency messaging boards across national intelligence entities for years, but they allowed it to go on.

“I’ve had whistleblowers come forward just in the last few days who work in the [National Security Agency] and who said, ‘Hey, we saw this, and we reported it through official channels under the Biden administration,’” she told Fox News Digital in an interview at the White House on Wednesday, following President Donald Trump’s first Cabinet meeting.

“And essentially they were told this is no issue, step aside,” Gabbard said.

Um, okay. That doesn’t make me feel particularly safe when they were entrusted with making sure our nation was secure. Gabbard, however, didn’t think it was appropriate, and she’s firing them all.

    Watch:

After discovering the chats, Gabbard directed the agencies under her to terminate those involved, which she said amounted to over 100 people. She further directed their security clearances to be revoked.

The employees who were part of the chats “violated the trust that the American people placed in them to work in these highly sensitive jobs that are directly related to national security,” she explained.

As for DEI, Gabbard said, “We’re just scratching the surface here” regarding how much money, time and resources have been spent on DEI in intelligence agencies.

According to the director, “getting rid of the DEI center that was stood up under the Biden administration, we immediately saved taxpayers almost $20 million.”

We knew the Biden administration was doing terrible things behind the scenes, and we reported on it relentlessly, but between the DOGE uncovering the perversion at USAID and the revelation of these twisted chat rooms at the heart of our intelligence apparatus, the story only gets worse. Trump, Hegseth, Gabbard, Bondi, Patel, Homan and the rest have their jobs cut out for them.

Luckily for the nation, this team seems ready to fight for the real priorities and erase the debauchery that defined the woeful Biden years.”

  8. “Report: Private Investigators Looking Into Trump’s Would-Be Butler Assassin Believe He Had Accomplice”

Red State, By Ward Clark | 6:39 PM on February 27, 2025

    AP Photo/Evan Vucci

ENTIRE ARTICLE: “President Donald Trump may well have won his reelection effort in one fateful moment in Butler, Pennsylvania. It will doubtless prove to be one of those “remember where you were when…” moments, and his reaction to being grazed by an assassin’s bullet, leaping back to his feet, shaking his fist and shouting “Fight! Fight! Fight!” was (as I’ve written repeatedly) probably the most powerful image in American politics since Ronald Reagan’s Brandenburg Gate speech.

As for the attempted assassin himself, he was quickly dispatched by law enforcement – and a lot of questions remain around him. Who was Thomas Crook? What was his motivation to try to kill a former President of the United States – and then-presidential candidate?

The New York Post’s Dana Kennedy, in an exclusive report, has some interesting information from a team of private investigators looking into the incident – very interesting indeed.

Sources told The Post the FBI has obstructed efforts to solve the mystery of why Thomas Matthew Crooks, who left no manifesto, did what he did. It’s left local law enforcement as well as Crooks’ former friends, classmates and teachers frustrated.

Those who may know, Crooks’ parents Matthew and Mary, have refused all interviews and remain in their small, three-bedroom home here, sealed off from the world like hermits. Neighbors say they only leave the house at 3 am to buy groceries.

We can scarcely blame Crook’s parents for this; they are facing a lot of attention they didn’t ask for. There’s no evidence, none that has been released, at any rate, that they had any idea what their son was planning.

    Here’s the onion:

A veteran private investigator from Erie, Penn., who was hired shortly after the fateful July 13 event at Butler Farm to look into Crooks by a private client, told The Post he believes a “criminal network” was operating with him at the time of the assassination attempt, is still in existence and still wants to kill President Trump.

Doug Hagmann, whose team of six other investigators have been working the case for months and have interviewed more than 100 people, said they also conducted extensive geofencing analysis of cell phones and tablets not belonging to Crooks that were found with him at his home, at the rifle range where he took target practice, at the rally and at Bethel Park High School where he graduated in 2022.

“We don’t think he acted alone,” Hagmann told The Post. “This took a lot of coordination. In my view, Crooks was handled by more than one individual and he was used for this [assassination attempt]. And I wouldn’t preclude the possibility that there were people at the rally itself helping him.”

This is troubling, if true – but did Hagmann and his team get that solely from the geofencing of Crook’s electronics? How did they establish the presence or involvement of any other individuals? There’s a strong “grassy knoll” vibe to all this. Hagmann’s argument about the need for “a lot of coordination” appears to be mere assertion; he has no evidence, or, at least, none he presents in the account.

A member of the House of Representatives, Clay Higgins (R-LA), is conducting his own investigation:

Rep. Clay Higgins (R-La.) — part of a bipartisan task force looking into Crooks’ actions and his death — found that it although a Secret Service sniper took him down with the kill shot, it was a local SWAT officer who made the shot that initially took him down — something the FBI did not report at the time.

Higgins, who has also been investigating Crooks’ assassination attempt for months, has not seen Hagmann’s geofencing data but downplayed its significance. He told The Post he believes Crooks acted alone and there was no conspiracy. However, he also said the FBI continually obstructed his investigation.

It’s becoming apparent that, out of this case, we’re going to get anything and everything but straight answers. That said, Rep. Higgins does not believe Crooks had accomplices, which he included in his 2024 report:

His report into what he calls “J13” was published Dec. 5 as part of the bipartisan task force on the attempted assassination.

But Higgins admitted even after months of his boots-on-the-ground granular research — including exhaustive ballistics examinations, trips to FBI headquarters in Quantico, Virginia, and lengthy conversations with the high-profile Pittsburgh law firm representing Crooks’ parents — he has only one theory.

He thinks Crooks must have been on some sort of prescription drug that made him, in Higgins’ words, “go crazy.”

Of course, it’s difficult for the saner among us to comprehend what might set off someone like this. As the late, great Paul Harvey used to say when describing the acts of some criminal goblin, “If you could understand it, we’d have to worry about you.”

And that’s the puzzler. One would think an attempt on a political figure’s life, especially one that came within – literally – a fraction of an inch of succeeding, would require a cold, calculated, cunning, and determined approach. At the same time, we look at someone like Thomas Crook and see, candidly, a nut. Was he drawn by some perverted idea of getting his name in the history books? Was he driven to distraction by Trump Derangement Syndrome? Was he really acting alone, or did he have help? If he did, where are his co-conspirators now, and what are they doing?

To paraphrase Mr. Harvey again, we may never know “the rest of the story.”

More than half of the funds went to companies located in or near Washington. The activists did not report on how these funds were spent.

“It is not surprising that USAID is so frightened by the sudden attention. What happened in Haiti, at a minimum, demonstrates the incompetence – if not outright corruption – of these international aid organizations. There is probably no more corrupt government agency than USAID”

    1. “Haiti: Where is the Money?”

By Bill Quigley and Amber Ramanauskas, February 26, 2012

EXCERPT: “Bill Quigley teaches at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, is the Associate Legal Director at the Center for Constitutional Rights, and volunteers with the Institute for Justice and Democracy in Haiti. Amber Ramanauskas is a lawyer and human rights researcher

Haiti, a close neighbor of the United States with a population of more than nine million people (700 plus miles from Miami), was devastated by earthquake on January 12, 2010.  Hundreds of thousands of people were killed and many more wounded.

Before the quake, Haiti was already the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere and one of the most impoverished in the world.  After?  Conservative estimates for the cost of reconstructing Haiti are nearly $14 billion.  The Inter-American Development Bank confirmed the earthquake is “likely to be the most destructive natural disaster in modern times.”[1]

The United Nations Special Envoy to Haiti estimated in June 2011 that international donors gave Haiti  more than $1.6 billion in relief aid since the earthquake (about $155 per Haitian) and  more than $2 billion in recovery aid (about $173 per Haitian) over the last two years. Before the earthquake, international donors were giving Haiti assistance at a rate of approximately $92 per person per year (these rates count expenditures on U.N. troops).  International assistance after the earthquake was four times as large as the Haitian government’s annual budget.[2]

But two years later, more than half a million people remain homeless in hundreds of informal camps; a majority of the tons of debris from destroyed buildings still lays where it fell; and cholera, a preventable disease, was introduced into the country and has become an epidemic, killing thousands and sickening hundreds of thousands more.[3]  Haiti today looks like the earthquake happened two months ago, not two years.

Haitians ask the same question as the US Congress: “Where is the money?”

      Where did the money go?….”

“….Private NGOs and Companies Scramble for Haiti Money

From the very beginning the disaster in Haiti was looked upon as a business opportunity.

Less than a month after the quake hit, the US Ambassador Kenneth Merten sent a cable titled “THE GOLD RUSH IS ON” as part of his situation report to Washington.  In this February 1, 2010 document, made public by The Nation and Wikileaks, Ambassador Merten reported the President of Haiti met with former General Wesley Clark for a sales presentation for InnoVida Holdings LLC, a Miami-based company that builds foam core houses.[18]

Capitalizing on the disaster, Lewis Lucke, a high ranking USAID relief coordinator, met twice in his USAID capacity with the Haitian Prime Minister immediately following the quake.  He then quit the agency and was hired for $30,000 per month by a Florida corporation, Ashbritt, and its prosperous Haitian partner to lobby for disaster contracts.  Lucke said “it became clear to us that if it was handled correctly the earthquake represented as much an opportunity as it did a calamity.”[19] Ashbritt and its Haitian partner were soon granted a $10 million no-bid contract.[20]  Lucke said he was instrumental in securing for Ashbritt an additional $10 million contract from the World Bank and another smaller one from CHF International, both before their relationship ended in court when Lucke sued Ashbritt and his Haitian partner for nearly $500,000 in bonuses for the contracts he had helped them land.[21]

Other private groups in the U.S. also began lobbying for a share of the Haiti money immediately following the quake.  In January, the US military had to suspend medical evacuations of critically injured Haitians to hospitals in Florida after officials there formally asked the US to pay some of the medical costs of care.[22]  Florida was ultimately reimbursed more than $5 million in Haiti relief funds for helping Haitians.  The Orlando Sanford Airport, which handles a million visitors a year, received $583,000 in federal funds for receiving 9500 evacuees plus volunteers and staff.  Federal relief funds reimbursed the airport for $32,000 in new carpets, $160,000 in landing and ramp fees, more than $23,000 for the CEO’s time on the scene, and $223,000 in other staff time. [23] Contrast this with the Miami International airport that handled more than four times as many flights (12,000 passengers) and did not request similar federal funds….”

He didn’t come in from outside so he was somewhere sleeping in the sun on the patio since his fur was warm. I was solely focused on the feeder so I didn’t look around the patio. Sneaky little shit!

  11. “Someone is putting little Jesus figurines all over the U.S. Capitol🤣”

Another photo shows a figurine stationed outside Speaker of the House Mike Johnson’s office:

Strangely, the appearances of the Jesus figures have not been limited to the U.S. Capitol building proper but have apparently spilled over into the nearby Cannon House Office Building:

But that’s not all. A tiny Jesus was also discovered last November in the tunnel that leads to the Rayburn House Office Building:

All American citizens are advised to be on the lookout, as the little Jesus figurines have now been reported to be found in other states throughout the country:

Even Politico reporters are getting the Jesus figurines!

  12. Just The News: “President Donald Trump offered blunt words to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in front of reporters at the White House, warning him that he was risking a global conflict, losing the war, and demanding that he show gratitude for American support.

Zelensky came to Washington to sign a mineral exploitation agreement with the United States, a deal Trump has demanded as compensation for the American investment in Ukraine’s defense.

“You’re gambling with the lives of millions of people. You’re gambling with World War Three, and what you’re doing is very disrespectful to the country, this country that’s backed you far more than a lot of people say they should have,” Trump told him, according to the Times.

“Offer some words of appreciation for the United States of America and the president who’s trying to save your country,” he added. “Your country is in big trouble. I know you’re not winning. You’re not winning this.”

Trump’s remarks come as Russia makes gains on the battlefield across the front and appears poised to encircle a major Ukrainian position inside the Russian Kurk Oblast.”

  14. Just The News: “President Donald Trump on Friday insisted that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was not serious about making a peace agreement to end the war with Russia and advised him to return when he was ready to make a real agreement.

“We had a very meaningful meeting in the White House today. Much was learned that could never be understood without conversation under such fire and pressure,” Trump posted. “It’s amazing what comes out through emotion, and I have determined that President Zelenskyy is not ready for Peace if America is involved, because he feels our involvement gives him a big advantage in negotiations. I don’t want advantage, I want PEACE. He disrespected the United States of America in its cherished Oval Office. He can come back when he is ready for Peace.”

Trump’s remarks followed a contentious exchange in the Oval Office between him, Zelensky, and Vice President JD Vance in which Trump insisted that Zelensky did not have the leverage he believed and Vance accused him of disrespecting the country.”

  15. EXCERPT: “….As noted, the press conference, which was originally set for 1:00 p.m. Eastern. However, after the very raw and tense moments in the Oval Office, Trump called it and encouraged the press to leave. The question then became whether or not the deal would be signed and the press conference would proceed.

Per Semafor White House correspondent Shelby Talcott, the minerals deal was not signed.

Additionally, Zelensky’s motorcade reportedly has pulled up to the White House, and he was just seen leaving the White House.

“Trump appears to have kicked Zelensky out of the White House. His motorcade is pulling up to West Wing now.”

Per Fox News’ Jacqui Heinrich, the Ukrainian delegation was begging to continue discussions, but Trump was not having it.”

  16. “….Here’s a partial transcript.

VANCE: “I’m talking about the kind of diplomacy that’s going to end the destruction of your country… Mr. President, with respect, I think it’s disrespectful for you to come into the Oval Office and try to litigate this in front of the American media. Right now, you guys are going around and forcing conscripts to the front lines because you have manpower problems. You should be thanking the President for trying to bring an end to this conflict.”

ZELENSKY: “Have you ever been to Ukraine that you say what problems we have?”

VANCE: “I’ve actually watched and seen the stories, and I know what happens is you bring people, you bring them on a propaganda tour, Mr. President. Do you disagree that you’ve had problems bringing people into your military? And do you think that it’s respectful to come to the Oval Office of the United States of America and attack the administration that is trying to prevent the destruction of your country?”

ZELENSKY: “First of all, during the war, everybody has problems. Even you. But you have nice ocean and don’t feel now. but you will feel it in the future. God bless, you won’t have war.”

What kind of passive-aggressive bunk is that? “You have nice ocean and don’t feel now.” We’ve felt literally billions of consequences from this war, Zelensky.

    Trump then intervened:

“Don’t tell us what we going to feel. We trying to solve a problem. Don’t tell us what we going to feel, because you in no position to dictate that. Remember this. You’re in no position to dictate what we’re going to feel. We’re gonna feel very good. We’re gonna feel very good and very strong. You’re right now not in a very good position. You’ve allowed yourself to be in a very bad position, which he happens to be right about.”

Zelensky, with zero respect, kept interrupting. Trump, visibly angry, shouted at Zelensky:

“You don’t have the cards right now. With us, you start having cards.  Right now, you’re playing cards. You’re playing cards. You’re gambling with the lives of millions of people. You’re gambling with World War III. You’re gambling with World War III. And what you’re doing is very disrespectful to the country, this country.”

    Vance then asked Zelensky:

Have you said thank you once? You went to Pennsylvania and campaigned for the opposition in October. Offer some words of appreciation for the United States of America and the president who’s trying to save your country.

Eventually, the scheduled press conference between the two was canceled and Zelensky left the White House, as Susie covered.”

  17. Lindsay Graham: “He (Trump) gave a master class in how to stand up for America!!!

I just think there’s no way the President could have signed that bill given the way he and JD and our country were treated. I don’t know if you can put it back together….I don’t know if you can repair the damage. And I busted my ass to try to help Ukraine to make sure we help them win a war that…you know, get this war over in a way that we don’t have further aggression & Donald Trump’s the man to do it.

I told him this morning, I told him ‘don’t take the bait, don’t let the media or anybody else get you into a argument with President Trump. What he’s doing today is re-setting the relationship – you should be grateful.’

Now, whether or not we can put this back together, I don’t know, but Zelensky is going to be on your network tonight…if I were him, I would profusely apologize for the way he treated our President and the Vice President in the oval office, and show a little bit of gratitude for what the American people have done.”

Asked how Moscow and Putin look at this meeting today: “Well, I think they look at Trump and say ‘I don’t want to get on THAT guy’s wrong side!’ I think what Zelensky did today is marginalized himself with the American people and any time you do that, that emboldens your enemies.

But my take away….I told President Trump, I said: ‘There’s 2 ways to look at this: your interaction with Zelensky, uh, was (chuckle) maybe the best television I’ve ever seen; but it’s deeper than that – the world is now watching how Trump behaves and acts when he’s pressed. I thought he stood up for America, that we’re a good people, we want to help you but we’re going to be respected. So, I think Moscow is probably more afraid of Trump than ever; hope the Chinese are and I hope the Iranians are…..”

      1. They truly are! Amazing! Soooo much work but worth the reward! I’ll never forget the first time I did anything like this. I was 7-8 mos. pregnant and we were just moving into our first place. A friend gave us a dresser for the baby’s room that had several layers of paint built up. It was an unusual one, with 2 doors on top that opened to 4 small drawers, with 3 larger drawers on the bottom. I stripped all the paint off, down to the bare wood, then sanded and sanded and sanded before adding a clear, hard topcoat – about 4 layers of it. It was gorgeous and I eventually sold it for $50!!! LOL

  18. “RELEASE OF THE EPSTEIN FILES, AN ANALYSIS: Follow The Money”

Michael T. Flynn LTG USA (RET), Feb 28, 2025

    Share

ENTIRE ARTICLE: “I want to unpackage some misconceptions and offer some suggestions (from my standpoint) about the release of the Epstein files.

People are getting confused and for good reason. SDNY is the US Attorney’s Office in the Southern District of New York (I do stand by my earlier comments re SDNY). However, they are ONE among other offices that handled Epstein files. Another is the FBI’s NYO (New York Office). Are they both hiding the documents? Guess where McCabe was before working in the FBI WDC HQ Office, the NYO. Other notable NYO agents: Bill Priestap, and many more of the cabal. They all need to be brought in for questioning.

Guess who was in SDNY at one time or another: Comey, Bruce Orr, and many more corrupt people. I’ve personally visited the NYO in the past and while there are good and decent people inside, over the years the culture of the DOJ and bureau has turned into a rotting decayed cadaver. Trust no longer exists inside nor does it exist between these organizations and the American people.

Also, all the Epstein files should be on a system called, Sentinel. Sentinel houses all documents up to and including Secret files. Top Secret documents are on a separate system (there need to be checks done there too). Additionally, there is something called “1A envelopes.” These are physically handled, not found in a computer system (meaning, this is where they commonly hide stuff). You might say, there are always physical files for all investigations. True. If there are physical files, these should still be eventually scanned into the system. If not, they are in 1A envelopes, like the notes we discovered from the deceitful and crooked FBI agents that interviewed me.

@FBIDirectorKash and @AGPamBondi need to also look deeper into the Miami USAO (US Attorney’s Office). They provided the original sweetheart deal to Epstein and this office and the FBI’s Miami field office should have files too. FBI Miami may have been directed to send everything to the NYO though (still must be checked).

My assessment is the USAO in Miami could be found to be very dirty on this Epstein files release issue. Keep in mind, they had jurisdiction over Epstein Island originally (we should see all the evidence collected from that search).

There are former, now retired agents, who worked in Miami on this case. They need to be brought back on to help Bondi and Kash. Neither of these two ever worked in the arena of the DOJ HQs nor the FBI HQs. Both are bastions of progressives who are mostly anti-Trump and some are anti-American. It’s clear Epstein worked on behalf of elements of the USG and that there is seriously damning evidence that will likely expose political, establishment figures, Hollywood, and other elite persons. Let’s face it, the only way to get to Epstein Island was by special invite and because you had something to offer.

Bottom line, this needs to be rectified sooner than later because the longer this lingers, the more time people have to destroy evidence. Set a tighter schedule, run it as a task force, ENSURE victims are not exposed, use retired or other trusted persons (whistleblowers for instance) to mentor this task force.

Let’s get it right. America and the world deserve the truth and people who committed these acts against minors must be punished to the fullest extent of the law. Last piece of advice, follow the money. There will be gaps.

@DOGE you geniuses may be able to assist too.”

  19. Just The News: “Republican Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds on Friday signed a bill into law that removes certain protections for transgender people from the state’s civil rights code, which opponents claim will put transgender people at risk of discrimination.

The bill makes Iowa the first state to remove certain protections based on gender identity, but comes after Iowa Republicans passed legislation that bans transgender people from using bathrooms, or from playing on sport teams that do not match their biological sex, per the Associated Press. Republicans claimed that the move is to protect biological women.

“It’s common sense to acknowledge the obvious biological differences between men and women,” Reynolds said in a statement. “In fact, it’s necessary to secure genuine equal protection for women and girls.”

“I know this is a sensitive issue for some, many of whom have heard misinformation about what this bill does,” she continued. “The truth is that it simply brings Iowa in line with the federal Civil Rights Code, as well as most states. We all agree that every Iowan, without exception, deserves respect and dignity. We are all children of God, and no law changes that.”

The move comes after the Trump administration issued new guidance that states the federal government only recognizes two genders, male and female.

The guidance defines female as a “person of the sex characterized by a reproductive system with the biological function of producing eggs (ova),” and male as a “person of the sex characterized by a reproductive system with the biological function of producing sperm.”

The guidance additionally noted that transgender surgeries or the use of hormones does not change a person’s sex.”
