“The miracle solution that gets you blind?

More Americans on Ozempic go BLIND as doctors sound alarm over startling side effect, reports The Daily Mail…

If you read the summary of the actual study, you learn that they could not find a link with the drug and this eye condition:

In this case series study, it was not possible to determine if there is a causal link between these drugs and the ophthalmic complications reported. In some cases, it is hypothesized that rapid correction of hyperglycemia induced by these drugs, rather than a toxic effect of the drugs, could be associated with the ophthalmic complications reported.

This is actually nothing new, this eye condition is a known complication of diabetes and Ozempic as a drug that helps with diabetes of course is connected to people with diabetes…

    Thank you Daily Mail…”

  3. Just The News: “A federal judge on Tuesday gave President Donald Trump a legal victory, by rejecting a bid to dismiss a $20 billion election interference lawsuit against CBS News and its parent company Paramount Global, ruling that their argument was “moot.”

Trump sued the network in October over the edit of former Vice President Kamala Harris’ answer in a “60 Minutes” interview. The answer in a clip promoting the “60 Minutes” interview differed from her response in the full interview that aired. Bill Owens, the executive producer of “60 Minutes,” has maintained that the edits were done within standard journalistic practice.

The lawsuit was initially for $10 billion, but was altered last week after Trump’s legal team added Paramount as a defendant, per Fox News. Texas GOP Rep. Ronny Jackson was also added as a plaintiff, and the damages were increased.

U.S. District Judge Matthew J. Kacsmaryk denied CBS News and Paramount’s attempt to dismiss the lawsuit in a ruling shared with Fox. The defendants attempted to argue that the case was filed in an improper venue, after it was relocated from New York to Texas.

“Plaintiffs add a Defendant, a Plaintiff, and a litany of factual allegations and legal claims in their Amended Complaint. Accordingly, the Motions are denied as moot,” Kacsmaryk ruled, before adding, “Nothing in this Order shall be construed as a determination on the merits of either Plaintiffs’ or Defendants’ substantive arguments and claims in the Motions or Amended Complaint.”

The ruling comes as the Federal Communications Commission is also investigating the edits. FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr has opened the topic for public comment, and will hold a hearing on the matter on March 7. The FCC has also released the full unedited transcript and video of the interview.”

  4. EXCERPT: “Amazingly – something liberal politicians seem unable to understand – when you reward certain behaviors, you get more of them, and when you penalize other behaviors, you get less of them.

That applies to many things, of course. And it’s always an amazing thing to see when liberals choose to reward a behavior, like, say, illegal immigration, and then act shocked – shocked to find their communities overrun by illegal immigrants. The same rule, of course, applies to businesses.

California has become an increasingly hostile environment for business over the last decade or two, while another, larger state is openly trying to recruit businesses by advertising low taxes, low regulations, and low real estate prices. That state is Texas, and now another major corporation has decided to bail on California and move to the friendlier environs of the Lone Star State.

A real estate giant has joined the growing list of companies abandoning California and heading to Texas

Realtor.com, a subsidiary of Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp, announced it is relocating its headquarters from Santa Clara to Austin.

The real estate listing site’s move comes after companies such as SpaceX, Chevron and Oracle have all made the move from the Golden State

Texas has waged a charm offensive on companies touting its low taxes and limited regulation.

Texas, we should note, is booming. The formerly Golden State? Not so much. That’s sad, actually, because California really has a lot going for it, if you can exclude the government. I’ve spent quite a bit of time there, in fact on two different occasions, for over a year, I maintained an apartment while working there –  a year and a half in Santa Clarita and a year in Silicon Valley….”

  6. EXCERPT: “The Education Department, under President Trump, is proposing to right a historic wrong.

For some years now, the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) has, along with other sports governing bodies, allowed “transgender women” – that would be, men, cosplaying as women – to compete on women’s sports teams and be (unfairly) awarded titles, trophies and records that they did not and do not deserve. Now the Education Department is urging NCAA President Charlie Baker to rescind those records and titles. The Daily Caller has the story:

The ED Office of General Counsel also sent a letter to the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) demanding the same be done at the high school level where any biological men have won women’s titles. The letters, the ED writes, are in line with a recent executive order the president signed prohibiting biological men who identify as women from competing in women’s and girl’s sports across the country.’

“We cannot undo the damage inflicted by years of policies and practices that have denied the material reality of sex and conflated that immutable characteristic with a subjective, fluid concept of ‘identity’ by prospectively returning to objective, factual sex classifications in athletics,”  Trump’s ED writes in its letter, obtained exclusively by the Caller.

“But we can recognize the harms done and injustices committed by such misguided policies and reversing their effects will restore a genuine commitment to girls’ and women’s equality of opportunity in athletic competition across the United States,” the letter says.

Writer Reagan Reese took to X to break the news and present the first page of the letter…..”

  7. EXCERPT: “These are “think tanks” that are part of the government to NGO to government revolving door, and which provide nice sinecures for the Deep State operatives as they take breathers from ruining the world.

Far from distributing rice and beans to needy children, they distribute champaign and caviar to greedy bureaucrats. They are the sort of place you would expect to see a Samantha Power bloviate about saving the world, getting applause from all the people who have been, are, or will be on her payroll in some capacity.

US taxpayers showering tens of millions on these poor, poor think tanks is just one great thing your USAID dollars go to. After all, once you have done your regime change of the day, plunging countries into violent revolutions to replace a democratically elected leader with the candidate of your choice, you need some place to sit back and sip your small barrel bourbon…..”

“….Lest you think that the regime change effort is only in foreign countries, once you dig into the details of where all the money goes you see that it doesn’t stop at our nation’s shores.

Republicans have criticized both think tanks over their central roles in what’s been dubbed the “censorship-industrial complex,” a network of university and think tank researchers that worked closely with federal agencies to censor content on social media.

In September 2020, the Aspen Institute organized a “tabletop” exercise with journalists from the New York TimesWashington Post, and executives from Facebook and Twitter to draft a plan for how to respond to a hypothetical scenario in which Russia leaked documents stolen from Hunter Biden, according to documents uncovered by reporter Michael Shellenberger. Many of the participants—most notably Twitter—censored an accurate New York Post story about Biden’s laptop in Oct. 2020.

The Atlantic Council’s Digital Forensic Research Lab is led by Graham Brookie, who served on the National Security Council in the Obama administration. In October 2020, Brookie claimed Trump’s “entire strategy” in the campaign that year was “based on process disinformation in this election.” Days later, Brookie dismissed reports of Hunter Biden’s laptop as “unverified misinfo.” He cheered Twitter’s ban of Trump’s account and “influencers of the far right” after the Jan. 6 Capitol riots as a “welcome” decision.

The State Department awarded the DFRLab a $64,000 grant in September to host two workshops at the U.S. embassy in Vienna on “countering foreign information manipulation and interference,” and $250,000 the same month for a project to counter disinformation in Moldova, according to spending records.

However corrupt you think our government is, the reality is turning out to be much worse…..”

At this point, I am 100% certain that the magnitude of the fraud in federal entitlements (Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Welfare, Disability, etc) exceeds the combined sum of every private scam you’ve ever heard by FAR.

    It’s not even close.

He called an ambulance and in the meantime, another lineman climbed up and successfully rescued his colleague by performing mouth-to-mouth and, well, Morabito was there to snap the shot of the scene winning the spot news prize.”
