12 Ivory
Ivory is an off-white color resembling the color of egg shells. Ivory roses symbolize grace and charm. If you know someone who has those traits, these flowers can make a wonderful gift for them. They’re usually given to people you care about without romantic intentions. Some people also view these roses as elegant and perfect.
13 Pearl
Pearl roses look similar to white and ivory. They’re a symbol of thoughtfulness and perfection. They’re a great way to let someone know you’re thinking of them without any romantic feelings involved.
14 Cream
Cream roses share meanings with both ivory and pearl roses. Thus, they symbolize charm and thoughtfulness. Like the other off-white colors, they’re a great way to show platonic appreciation for someone.
15 Lavender
Lavender roses often symbolize wonder and enchantment. They can be used to portray a special love, such as the kind that only happens once in a lifetime. They represent all the splendor and mystery that true love brings.
16 Purple
Purple roses are a sign of passion and infatuation. People who give purple roses are likely expressing their lasting feelings in a relationship and searching for a deeper connection. Purple roses are less intense versions of red roses, so they may lead to new relationship milestones.
17 Blue
Since blue roses don’t exist in nature, they represent mystery and uniqueness. They symbolize something that is impossible or unattainable. They are often given to someone as a way to tell them to dream big and never give up.
18 Green
Green is one of the most common colors in nature, so green roses symbolize growth and abundance. They’re also a sign of good news and new beginnings. They can be used to encourage or congratulate someone.
19 Mint
Mint is a more playful version of green. So, these roses usually represent cheerfulness and new beginnings. Like green roses, they’re used to cheer on someone during a new milestone in their lives.
20 Black
Like blue roses, black roses don’t occur naturally. So, they’re a rare and mysterious find. They usually symbolize death and mourning, so they’re a common decoration for funerals. On a more positive note, they could be a sign of a new beginning or a big change in life.
21 Multicolored
Any rose that has more than one color on it, such as rainbow roses or a mix of blue and pink, could fall into this category. Multicolored roses usually share a combination of meanings. For example, if a rose has red and yellow, it could be given to a friend you’ve developed romantic feelings for. Multicolored roses are usually vibrant, so they’re great for party decorations.
22 Assortment of Colors
Sometimes, you may receive more than one rose color. This is another way to convey multiple rose meanings at once. However, there’s not always a deeper meaning to a mixture of roses. In some cases, it’s just a vibrant decoration for a celebration. They’re a good gift for someone who wants beautiful flowers without having to worry about a deeper meaning.

Morning Filly!
hubby and i were discussing a foray into town–we need to get the mail and such. then he said the garage door may be frozen…all that water seeping out from the banks behind the driveway is running down the driveway, but puddling in front of the garage door–it froze shut for a few days but that one warmer weather day he unstuck it.
he’s been salting in front of it ever since, and thankfully this morning it wasn’t frozen shut again.
tomorrow? we’re expecting freezing rain. sigh we can’t catch a break!

Rob leading Florida. Every state should do this.
#BREAKING: DeSantis unveils “Second Amendment Summer” sales tax holiday in 2025-26 budget, and elimination of the business rent tax, other relief
DeSantis also told reporters he expected the proposal “to be wildly popular” and is not anticipating pushback from the Florida Legislature.
“Why would they want to fight back on that? This is something that their voters would expect them to support,” DeSantis said.
The new tax holiday joins other efforts to boost spending in other sectors, including a new sales tax holiday for marine fuel and others that have been in place before, such as those covering disaster preparedness, back-to-school shopping, and “Freedom Month” to encourage outdoor activities such as camping and fishing.

Long article but well worth the read!
EXCERPT: “Though headlines and analysts repeatedly claim that the anti-Trump “resistance” is in disarray and that Democrats are struggling to form a coherent message against the administration, many of the cogs in the resistance’s machine continue to turn as though it were the first Trump administration. The only difference is that, this time, Trump is having none of it and driving through his agenda at such a pace that his opposition can’t get its footing.
During the first Trump term, the so-called “deep state” mounted consistent opposition and managed to effectively obstruct his keynote projects. Leakers inside the Department of Homeland Security often thwarted Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids. Pentagon officials opposed to his foreign policy realignment slow-walked his withdrawal orders, notably in Syria. He further saw an antagonistic media repeatedly twist his words and fixate on the Russia collusion narrative. In 2025, intransigent career officials continue to make their frustrations known and the media remains as anti-Trump as ever.
But it’s a new term and a new Donald Trump. A host of executive orders, unconventional nominees, and sweeping agency reforms have the Washington, D.C., establishment in a panic and, ultimately, unable to do much about anything.
Bureaucrats who slow-walk or otherwise obstruct the implementation of the White House’s orders are on their way out. The media’s emotional appeals on immigration, parading desperate migrants denied entry to the U.S., carry no weight with Trump. Cries of “respect for institutional norms” go unheard. And protesters with multi-colored hair are left to scream into the wind.
As he enacts sweeping reforms in rapid succession, moreover, he maintains a favorable rating with the public, who seem to view the blitz as an attempt to deliver on what he promised. As of week two, Trump enjoyed a 53% favorability rating in the latest Napolitan News Survey. He enjoys a 49.4% approval in the RealClearPolitics average, compared to 44.8% who disapprove of him.
“We knew the mainstream media was going to come out against anything Trump did,” former National Security Council chief of staff Fred Fleitz said Tuesday on the “John Solomon Reports” podcast. “But the brilliance of rolling out so many ideas so quickly is [that] Trump is flooding the zone, and the media doesn’t know what to focus on.”
The blitz of executive orders, legislative initiatives, and internal agency reforms has even some of his conservative skeptics amazed and opining that the four years of President Joe Biden ultimately produced a more aggressive Trump administration.
“By leaps and bounds. I am legitimately stunned with this level of focus on rooting out the communist filth from the government. 4 years of Biden was well worth it in exchange for this version of Trump,” Jesse Kelly posted….”

New taxes for PA…..
EXCERPT: “Gov. Josh Shapiro was successful last year increasing spending by billions of dollars, and he’s looking to spend even more this year.
Even before the administration released its newest budget proposal, recent forecasts by the state Independent Fiscal Office, or IFO, estimate Pennsylvania will have a nearly $3.4 billion deficit to address by the time the state’s current fiscal year comes to an end in June.
New revenue, if there are no efforts made to scale back spending, will be needed to address the looming shortfall.
Pennsylvania has several so-called “sin taxes” – on things like tobacco, alcohol and gambling – that generate revenue for the state. Shapiro, during his annual budget address on Tuesday before a joint session of the General Assembly, argued for adding new taxes on legalized and regulated “games of skill” machines and recreational marijuana.
“We’ve been putting this off for too long; it’s time to regulate and tax skill games and protect the interests of our commonwealth,” said Shapiro. “Like skill games, there’s another issue that’s long overdue to regulate and tax – and that is adult-use cannabis.”
The governor proposed similar efforts to legalize and tax both as part of his last budget proposal, but neither request garnered enough support in the General Assembly.
“District attorneys across the commonwealth are calling on us to regulate these machines and finally provide law enforcement with clear guidance,” Shapiro said of the “skill games” during his budget address. “On top of that, these machines have no quality control for the customers using them.”
Shapiro’s proposed 2budget anticipates $368.9 million from an “expanded Video Gaming Terminal (VGT) tax” which the governor’s administration will apply to “games of skill” that would be regulated by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board like other VGTs.
The budget estimates there are as many as 70,000 skill game terminals located throughout the state, including 12,000 terminals in locations where Pennsylvania Lottery products are sold. Shapiro suggested these terminals are primarily responsible for a $200 million drop in profits during the past five years for the Lottery Fund, which supports programs for older Pennsylvanians.
These new skill games would be capped at no more than five machines per establishment and a maximum of 30,000 statewide, with the statewide total to increase incrementally to 40,000 by 2030. Like existing VGTs, the games would be taxed at 52% of Gross Terminal Revenue, or GTR. Five percent will be transferred to the Lottery Fund, with the other 47% deposited into the state’s checking account.
Shapiro’s latest proposal incorporates a higher tax on skill game VGTs, something Pennsylvania’s existing casinos have wanted if the state goes the route of legalizing their use…..”

“Obama’s $800M Presidential Center Slapped With DEI Lawsuit: If it ain’t woke, don’t build it: Hideous monument to 44th president plagued by delays, cost overruns, and racial quotas”
Andrew Stiles, February 4, 2025
EXCERPT: “Barack Obama’s long-delayed and aesthetically monstrous presidential center in Chicago could face even further delays after a local subcontractor filed a racial discrimination lawsuit against one of the firms managing construction on the project.
The lawsuit, filed last month in federal court by the Chicago-based concrete and rebar firm II in One, accused Thornton Tomasetti, the New York-based company overseeing structural engineering and design on the Obama Presidential Center, of imposing “excessively rigorous and unnecessary” inspection standards and engaging in racial discrimination by singling out the black-owned firm for errors resulting in “extreme financial loss and reputational hardship.”
Robert McGee, owner of II in One, is seeking to recoup roughly $41 million in additional costs his firm allegedly incurred as a result of Thornton Tomasetti’s discriminatory actions, which “directly undermined the Obama Foundation’s DEI (diversity, equity and inclusion) goals and commitments and mission to bring transformative change to the construction industry and local community,” according to the lawsuit. The company was now “on the brink of forced closure because of racial discrimination by the structural engineer.”
Thornton Tomasetti has strenuously denied the allegations, writing in a 2024 memo to Obama Foundation executives that the cost overruns and delays “were all unequivocally driven by the underperformance and inexperience … [of] what everyone knows was a questionably qualified subcontractor team.”
The memo also included images of cracked slab and exposed rebar from the construction site. “We cannot stand by while contractors attempt to blame their own shortcomings on the design team,” the firm wrote. Obama Foundation spokeswoman Emily Bittner, who previously worked as a senior adviser to Gov. J.B. Pritzker (D., Ill.), told the Chicago Tribune that the foundation had “no reason to believe that Thornton Tomasetti acted with racist intent.”…..”

EXCERPT: “President Donald Trump racked up his latest legal victory in Florida on Monday, after a state judge ruled the Pulitzer Prize board’s internal communications are fair game for discovery in a lawsuit Trump filed over the awards the board gave the New York Times and Washington Post in 2018 for their coverage of Russiagate.
Judge Robert L. Pegg, a circuit court judge in Okeechobee County, declined the board’s request to shield its internal communications from the lawsuit’s discovery phase. Trump sued the board in 2022 over its award to the Times and Post four years earlier for a series of stories that the board said “dramatically furthered the nation’s understanding of Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election and its connections” to Trump.
In his lawsuit, Trump said the board “rewarded” the newspapers “for lying to the American public” about the “now-debunked theory” that he conspired with Russia to influence the election. A series of federal investigations found no evidence that Trump colluded with the Kremlin.
Pegg rejected a motion by the board to avoid handing over internal deliberations about the award, saying the board failed to show that the discovery process will create “annoyance, embarrassment, oppression, or undue burden or expense,” according to the ruling, first reported by Fox News….”

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025/feb/04/pam-bondi-confirmed-trump-attorney-general
Our Take: In her hearing, Bondi would not admit that Joe Biden won the 2020 election. She also referred to the 2020 election as an “ongoing investigation.” The Attorney General is the Chief Law Enforcement Officer of the United States. They possess immense power. The AG is also a sitting member of the National Security Council.
Stolen elections are an exponential national security concern. As Attorney General, Pam Bondi will have access to all kinds of information – including anything having to do with the 2020 election. And she has been very outspoken about the 2020 election fraud, including discussing what she witnessed firsthand in Pennsylvania.
I’m pretty sure it isn’t a coincidence that her vote is expected to take place on Feb 5th…
Q Drop 3831 is a Feb 5th delta and features the famous “Panic In DC” meme, as well as a message from Q that those who tried to subvert this country will not get away unscathed:
Essentially telling us that justice will come. – Paul Fleuret
Another Take: Watching the Senate Confirmation process recalls the wise words of Billy Mays, “There’s got to be a better way!”
The process is complicated to track but here is the gist: The President nominates a person for a position, and the Senate committee(s) hold hearings. After the hearings, committees with jurisdiction will vote to advance the nomination out of committee with a favorable or unfavorable recommendation.
Once they advance out of committee, the nomination goes to the Senate floor. Reportedly, they can only debate one nominee at a time, so that is where it bottlenecks. When the Senate votes to invoke cloture, a 30-hr clock starts to limit debate. When the clock runs out they vote, which is why the times for voting are at all hours.
This is why it’s taking up to 30-hours per nominee, because the Democrats are dragging it out — and they can, for up to 30 hours per nominee. They aren’t using every moment, however; Pam Bondi’s vote was expected Wednesday morning around one o’clock in the morning, but it ended up taking place Tuesday evening. “There’s got to be a better way!”
Here is who is confirmed so far:
And here is where the other nominees stand in the process:
On The Floor…
Still in Committee…
The Senate will convene at 10:30am on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 and will conduct two votes at 11:30am: Confirmation of Eric Scott Turner (HUD) and invoking cloture on Russell Vought (OMB). – Ashe in America

Our Take:
“Everything about that screenshot is Trump-a-Mania. Laugh-out-loud funny.
I’ve left instructions to OBLITERATE Iran… but if those homies want to meet, I’m cool with that, too. I really feel like Trump is having fun with these narrative deployments. He is back in control of the laser pointer, and keeps making the proverbial cat slam its face into the wall.
On the subject of the Soleimani strike, remember that Trump said this about Netanyahu: “I’ll never forget that Bibi Netanyahu let us down [by backing out at the last minute] — that was a very terrible thing, I must say… And then, Bibi tried to take credit for it — that was a good one — that didn’t make me feel too good, but that’s all right!”

Saudi Arabia Deports 10,000 Expats, Arrests Over 21,000 in Major Crackdown
Our Take: Lost in all of the excitement of the past few days was this little nugget of a story. Right now, the Saudi government is arresting and prosecuting tens of thousands of illegal immigrants, and they say they are doing it to protect the Saudi worker.
Where have we heard this before? MBS is proving that, with the right mindset, you can really crackdown on the problem, at scale.
“The ministry stressed that these offenses are classified as major crimes warranting arrest and are considered violations of public trust. It urged residents to report any violations via emergency hotlines, providing specific numbers for different regions. Currently, 34,000 foreign nationals—31,000 men and 3,000 women—are being processed for legal action under the enforcement measures, the statement added.”

JD Vance: Donald Trump ‘Having the Time of His Life’ as President, ‘Breakneck Pace’ of Action ‘Going to Be the Same’ for Four Years Straight
“Vice President JD Vance told Breitbart News exclusively on Tuesday that President Donald Trump is “having the time of his life” as president so far, two weeks into his second term in the White House.
Vance, who sat down with Breitbart News in his West Wing office down the hall from the Oval Office, said Trump is “having the time of his life man” when asked how the president is doing two weeks into the administration. Vance said that Trump has done more in just a couple weeks than former Presidents Joe Biden or Barack Obama did in their full terms.
“I obviously think he’s doing a great job, and I think he’s done more in two weeks than frankly Biden did in four years and Obama did in eight years,” Vance said. “It really is a breakneck pace and that really does flow directly from presidential leadership. He is constantly asking us how many days do we have left? How many weeks do we have left? What have we done today? It’s a constant drive from the top and it’s why I think you see all these great things coming out of the White House. But he is having fun.” – Breitbart
Our Take: You know how, when you go on vacation, it takes time to adjust and get into the right rhythm for your updated circumstances? This has been like that for me. We are only in week three, but a part of me still can’t believe this is real. It’s difficult to relax into it. It’s hard to trust it.
As for the article, Trump is having the time of his life? What makes you say that? Trump is having the time of his life? Good. He’s certainly earned it. – Ashe in America

EXCERPT: “Let’s say your child, like the majority of schoolchildren in America, is having trouble reading and doing math. Your state offers a corrective. See if you can guess which:
Option No. 1: The state will hire teachers who excel in language arts and math.
Option No. 2: The state will hire teachers who underachieve in language arts and math.
If you’re in New Jersey, your political leaders just chose Option No. 2. Democratic Gov. Phil Murphy, with huge support from the New Jersey Education Association, signed Act 1669, which removed the requirement for those seeking to become teachers to pass basic tests in reading, writing, and mathematics. The so-called teachers union said that requiring teachers to be proficient in the three R’s is a “barrier” to teacher certification. This travesty of a law took effect on Jan. 1, 2025.
Those populating New Jersey’s political class, like those in several other blue states, are disconnected from reality and parental interests regarding their children. Teacher unions are just plain dangerous. American voters recently made clear they are tired of failed leftist experiments in our schools. Americans want change.
New Jersey’s politicians could care less. Not only have they ensured citizens won’t see change, but they have virtually guaranteed that students’ reading and math abilities will continue to plummet.
Teachers unions in New Jersey (and throughout the country) have spent years fighting for these disastrous results. They have dumbed down students and have opened the classroom door to incompetent “teachers” who impair children in America’s schools. In 2022, during the Covid shutdowns, the union even persuaded politicians to do away with edTPA, a basic performance test would-be teachers had to pass to be certified.
The edTPA has been long opposed by the union because it attaches one more accountability requirement to those seeking to teach your children. You see, the unions are not interested in representing excellent teachers or providing children with superior educational experiences. Instead, their goal is to dumb down American citizens and make us dependent on the giant government they’ve been building over the last 100 years.
So, deceptively citing a “teacher shortage,” the union persuaded their captured politicians to scrap the edTPA, and now has succeeded in persuading a majority of lawmakers to approve hiring teachers who perform poorly in basic academic skills.
What could possibly go wrong?….”

EXCERPT: “Virginia’s five most corrupt school districts are now the subject of a formal complaint at the U.S. Department of Education because of their gender ideology policies. The policies appear to violate both Title IX and President Donald Trump’s executive order ending indoctrination in the nation’s K-12 public schools.
The Trump administration recently reinstated its own 2020 Title IX regulations, protecting the civil rights of women and girls in school, and ended the Biden administration’s Title IX rewrite that put them at risk in schools every day. Trump also signed an executive order (Ending Radical Indoctrination in K-12 Schooling) that blocks federal funding for schools that promote a “social transition” for children or require staff to refer to students using “preferred pronouns” that don’t align with their sex.
Virginia is home to some of the nation’s most corrupt school districts, and at least two — Loudoun and Fairfax Counties — have become household names for their unbending support for gender and racial radicalism. Using those two directives from the Trump administration, America First Legal has targeted the Northern Virginia school districts of Loudoun, Fairfax, Arlington, and Prince William Counties, as well as that of the City of Alexandria, requesting that the Education Department investigate them for violating the Trump administration’s actions.
“School districts in Northern Virginia have led the charge against science, reality, and the law by eliminating sex-based rights and rewriting the law to give preferential treatment to students who claim to be ‘transgender’ or ‘gender expansive,’” Ian Prior, AFL senior advisor, said in a press release. “If those school districts want to continue to enforce unlawful, unworkable, and insane policies, they should lose their federal funding. President Trump has made clear that this lawlessness must end, and these five school districts must either come into compliance with the law or face the consequences of their intransigence.”….

“100K eggs stolen from back of distribution truck, police say”
WKYT, By Emily Van de Riet, Published: Feb. 4, 2025 at 11:29 AM CST
GREENCASTLE, Pa. (Gray News) – Roughly 100,000 organic eggs were stolen from a large egg producer in Pennsylvania, police said. The theft happened on Saturday around 8:40 p.m. at Pete & Jerry’s Organics in Greencastle.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, approximately 100,000 organic eggs were stolen from the back of a distribution trailer. The eggs are worth about $40,000. Further information was not available.
Bird flu is forcing farmers to slaughter millions of chickens a month, pushing U.S. egg prices to more than double their cost in the summer of 2023, according to the Associated Press.
The average price per dozen eggs nationwide hit $4.15 in December. That’s not quite as high as the $4.82 record set two years ago, but the Agriculture Department predicts egg prices are going to soar another 20% this year.”

“It’s rare when we come across a photo that has this much goodness going on it at once, but here we are. For starters, the picture was taken in front of the historic Ford River Rouge Complex, which was the largest integrated factory in the world when it was completed in 1928. More than 100,000 workers were employed there, even during the Great Depression in the 1930s.
Over the years, The Rouge churned out all sorts of automobile models, tractors, boats, aircraft components, tires, and various other products. The Model A was produced there, as well as the Ford Thunderbird, Mercury Capri, and four decades of Ford Mustang models. Today, The Rouge site is home to The Blue Oval’s Rouge Center, which includes the Ford Dearborn Truck Plant, where the Ford F-150 is built.
This picture is full of Ford models, including a Galaxie and Falcon, a handful of Lincolns, and a whole slew of Mustangs. But everything else in the photo is a Blue Oval product as well – including the car haulers, which we bet a lot of folks would love to get their hands on today. Even the train has “Ford” printed on the side, because of course it does.
And of course, there are some snazzy looking businessmen standing by the trucks, doing what we can only imagine is, well, business. At least that’s what it looks like. Regardless, it’s nice to take a trip back to this very different, very cool era, if only for a few precious minutes.”

this is evil and disgusting!!! stealing the identities of those impacted by disasters and applying for FEMA help in their place.
I will never understand people who capitalize on other people’s misery. It happens far too often: ambulance chasers and corrupt companies that pillage from people’s desperation and lack of clear thinking seem to be in abundance. However, there is a special form of vulture that preys upon victims of natural disasters, and for me, this is beyond the pale. The latest rash of this: the victims of the California wildfires. Families who have lost everything and seek assistance are discovering that they have not only lost their identity, but someone else collected the funds they desperately needed to rebuild their lives.
We know how well that works out, especially with FEMA. In other words, it doesn’t. The Zweig’s address was locked until FEMA could “resolve their case.” Given the condition that FEMA is in right now, sadly, this will probably be the 12th of Never. In the meantime, the Zweigs and others have been left without options.
According to the Los Angeles Times, this is a larger problem; what contributes to the ease for those who seek to commit fraud? Victims’ ability to apply for FEMA assistance online. Easy is not always best.
Shades of the COVID unemployment fraud, where California was left holding the bag for $32 billion and then passed it on to its small businesses. Elected officials and leftist NGOs are caterwauling over DOGE and Elon Musk having access to “our most sensitive data,” when all identity thieves have to do is pay money to purchase names, addresses, birth dates, and social security numbers on the dark web and do their thing. It seems that anything that the government is involved in is ripe for fraud and mismanagement, and this is yet another glaring and tragic example.
Anyone who takes advantage and doubly violates victims should face federal and state penalties and, once convicted, be put under the jail. Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman seems serious about enforcing the laws to their fullest extent, so there is some hope that these evil actors will be found and prosecuted. FEMA and the Department of Justice are both hot messes and look to get messier as President Donald Trump and hopefully (once confirmed) Attorney General nominee Pam Bondi and FBI Director nominee Kash Patel clean house. But anyone who has been victimized by this fraud is probably wise to look elsewhere for recourse and mount a crowdfunding account.

EXCERPT: “….Things are about to get much worse, though, so buckle up. According to recently revealed records, left-leaning news outlet Politico received over thirty-four million dollars from USAID and other government agencies. That money went to pay for “subscriptions” for various bureaucratic officials, including “pro” subscriptions that add up to over $10,000 a pop…..
“….A breakdown of some of the expenditures shows USAID paid $443,998 for just 37 subscriptions to Politico for FDA officials. Another outlay for “subscriptions” cost $862,025.
Politico has never disclosed those payments even as they’ve written pieces covering USAID, posing as unbiased arbiters of truth. That represents one of the biggest scandals in the history of the press. The United States government was funneling money to a left-wing news outlet that has repeatedly done the bidding of the Democratic Party. As an example, you may remember Politico as the same news site that laundered the infamous letter from “51 intelligence officials” saying the Hunter Biden laptop was Russian disinformation…..”

“Democrats Warn Trump’s Unelected Shadow Government Is Dismantling Their Unelected Shadow Government”
Politics · Feb 5, 2025 · BabylonBee.com
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Alarm bells are sounding across the United States government, where Democrats are warning that President Trump’s unelected shadow government is totally dismantling the unelected shadow government Democrats worked so hard to build.
After decades spent entrenching a bureaucracy dedicated to doing their bidding, Democrats have taken to the streets in protest of Trump hiring unelected officials to fire their unelected officials.
“We are literally watching Democracy crumble before our very eyes,” said Senator Chuck Schumer, shouting outside shuttered USAID offices. “Elon Musk, who may I remind you is unelected, is coming in and demolishing these institutions of people that are unelected. It is just so not fair. Fight! Fight! Fight!”
Many are calling Elon Musk’s employment in the government a Constitutional crisis, stating that other than the three million people already working for the government, the President hiring someone to do a job is simply unheard of. “Allowing an unelected official to work in the government is basically fascism,” explained Treasury Department employee Arlene Magill. “We cannot allow a citizen like Musk to see what taxpayer money is spent on. Only the thousands of unelected employees who work at Treasury are allowed to do that.”
At publishing time, Democrats had reminded everyone that the deep state they are fighting to save is not real.

“Trump Unveils Exciting, Never-Before-Tried Strategy Of Having America Take Over Country In The Middle East”
World · Feb 5, 2025 · BabylonBee.com
WASHINGTON, D.C. — President Trump has announced that America will try a brand new, never-before-tried strategy of taking over a country in the Middle East.
Pundits across the political spectrum hailed the totally innovative idea, confident that the plan will work out to perfection with no issues whatsoever.
“I don’t know why no one has ever thought of this before. It’s so smart and so simple,” explained President Trump. “Everyone will be so happy to have America in Gaza, they love us there. We will build a big, beautiful nation in no time, there will be so much democracy and freedom, no one will believe it.”
The plan’s utter brilliance left the crowd stunned, completely overcome with awe. “How has no one tried this before?” wondered Middle East historian Daniel Bingham. “The solution, glorious in its simplicity, has been staring us in the face this entire time. America simply takes over part of the Middle East and runs it! I cannot wait to see how beautifully this works out.”
At publishing time, Trump had announced that he would appoint George W. Bush as strategic coordinator to carry out his amazing new plan.

🚨 JUST IN: DEMOCRAT MELTDOWN STOPS HEARING COLD AS NANCY MACE DROPS TRUTH BOMBS 💥
Nancy Mace just dropped NUKES in the hearing, and Democrats completely LOST IT. 🤡💀
🔥 Exposed USAID corruption
🔥 Called out the FBI weaponization
🔥 Demanded accountability for the billions funneled through shady NGOs
🔥 Tied George Soros to Democrats’ dark money network
The moment she spoke the truth, Democrats panicked, started shouting, and shut the whole hearing down.
💰 Soros has been funneling billions into Democrat slush funds—propping up corrupt prosecutors, rigged elections, and radical policies. The second Mace exposed the receipts, the meltdown began.
They don’t want debate. They don’t want oversight. They just want to silence anyone who exposes their grift.
Nancy Mace: “I hit a nerve, huh?” 😂💀

Trump’s people designed DOGE to be bullet-proof. Biggest point – they didn’t create a new agency – they rebranded one that Obama created!!!

DOGE – A Lawyer’s Perspective on the @elonmusk @realDonaldTrump Policy Centerpiece
I inherently do not trust the media so I decided to look into DOGE myself and see what is under the hood. Initially I was quite concerned about the legality of a “new agency” created by executive order but that – just like everything else – is a lie put out by the mainstream. The order is here and the thread is below:

To understand anything the government does it’s usually best to start with the law or something else I might be able to sue over… in this case the executive order itself was the thing to see.

As you can see this document is barely 2 pages and certainly not written in legalise. While not a complicated read – the plan was brilliant. Trump did NOT actually create a new agency. Instead what he did was repurpose an existing agency – the USDS – into something more useful.

The USDS was an Obamacare office created to make government software better. They were essentially software development for the bureaucracy. Trump renamed the United States Digital Service (USDS) the United States DOGE Service which even kept the acronym the same. Not only did repurposing an appropriate existing department allow Trump to ensure there was funding for DOGE without having to fight with Congress – he also ensured its legality.

You see Trump has power to set priorities for Executive branch departments but there are limits. In the case of DOGE, Trump clearly had a team of lawyers looking at ways to accomplish this goal legally.
USDS was already there and funded for the specific purpose. 44 USCS Chapter 36 is the law that facilitates much of USDS. It is generally about developing tech for the government. This means that focusing on efficiency and evaluating the entire government through the lens of the IT that runs it is not really substantially altering the agency – just its focus.

At the same time Trump also wanted to bring in @elonmusk (and at the time @VivekGRamaswamy) and his team for an initial major audit/clean sweep. To do this Trump referenced another law 5 USC 3161. This law governs the creation of and staffing for what is known as a “temporary organization” in the government. This group will focus on pushing the DOGE agenda and will exist for 18 months (though their work will survive). By including this group as temporary, Trump dodged several potential lawsuits as he may not have been able to create his own new administrative entity on a permanent basis without Congressional approval.

Trump also ordered that DOGE teams be hired in every administrative branch agency. These teams are to include a team lead, a lawyer, an HR person, and an engineer. These teams work for USDS (DOGE) but work with and within various agencies. While all this is part of a “software modernization initiative,” looking at the software and how things are managed is a great way to find out where there is waste – particularly when part of the mandate it to ensure efficiency.

The last part of the post is all important boilerplate. Trump orders all agencies to support the DOGE initiative, disclaims any other prior EOs that could interfere with this order, and makes a conflict of laws statement. This was further insulation to make this harder for political opponents to fight in court.

Last point. I don’t like that this has to be done and think the executive branch has far more authority than they should. That said, this order was very well done and Trump and Musk have really done a good job strategically here. Here’s to hoping these guys follow through on the MAGA/MAHA mandate that we the people have given and do everything possible to ensure the American people have the best future imaginable for our kids.

CBS releases unedited version of Kamala Harris 60 Minutes interview that President Trump says was rigged in her favor.
And it shows her original answer to the question asked about Benjamin Netanyahu was removed and they replaced her answer from an entirely different question.
This had nothing to do with time constraints.
