The information about this house comes from a realtor’s listing and website.

A wildly imaginative Santa Barbara, CA, home is ready for its next chapter—and you could write it if you’re willing to splash out the $3,250,000 list price. The Whale House, designed by architect Michael Carmichael in 1978, is nestled among oak and sycamore trees by Mission Creek in Mission Canyon. The landmark home looks like a whale, covered in undulating cedar shingles, which help the dwelling blend in with its natural surroundings.
Into the whale’s mouth
Right from the entryway, you’ll feel as if you’re stepping inside the whale’s mouth, which might make you a tad uncomfortable if your name is Jonah. Everyone else will be captivated by three floors full of magical spaces. The captivating interior, made of stone, wood, and glass, is an artistic tour de force.

There are three bedrooms and 3.5 baths in 2,606 square feet of living space, and an equally arresting guesthouse on the premises. Some of the home’s more interesting features include a spiraling stairwell that opens to the outdoors, a rock-covered elevator shaft, 270 Belgian leaded and stained-glass windows, wavy walls of Venetian plaster, and massive wood columns and beams.

The kitchen features an “under the sea” theme, with decorative rocks and curved walls.

The White House on Wednesday formally rescinded a controversial memo that had ordered a freeze on federal grants and loans to give agencies time to review programs for their compliance with President Donald Trump’s agenda, NBC News reported.
The freeze, which had been set to take effect late Tuesday afternoon, was paused by a federal judge until Monday to give her time to consider arguments by nonprofit groups challenging its legality.
The memo ordering the freeze had been issued by the Office of Management and Budget. It immediately sparked confusion about which programs would be affected and was suspected of causing Medicaid reimbursement portals to go offline for all 50 states on Tuesday.
Acting OMB Director Matthew Vaeth, in a new memo issued Wednesday, wrote, “OMB Memorandum M-25-13 is rescinded. If you have any questions about implementing the President’s Executive Orders, please contact your agency General Counsel.”

This is NOT a rescission of the federal funding freeze.
It is simply a rescission of the OMB memo.
Why? To end any confusion created by the court’s injunction.
The President’s EO’s on federal funding remain in full force and effect, and will be rigorously implemented.

DHS Sec Noem revokes TPS on 600K Venezuelan migrants as reported by the AP.
WooHoo!!! Round em up, move em out!

WASHINGTON (AP) — Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said Wednesday that the Trump administration has revoked a decision that would have protected roughly 600,000 people from Venezuela from deportation.
On “Fox and Friends,” Noem said that she reversed the decision made by her successor, Alejandro Mayorkas, in the waning days of the Biden administration that extended Temporary Protected Status.
“Before he left town, Mayorkas signed an order that said for 18 months they were going to extend this protection to people that are on temporary protected status, which meant that they were going to be able to stay here and violate our laws for another 18 months,” Noem said. “We stopped that.”
The move goes into effect immediately. The six page notice from the DHS says that the decision from the Trump administration restores the status quo preceding the Biden administration decision to extend protections for Venezuelans until Oct. 2026. Now the TPS expiration goes back to the original date of April 2025…..”

Head of San Diego’s Catholic Charities, Appaswamy “Vino” Pajanor, was born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. This NGO received over $41 million last year to shelter, feed, medically care for, and transport individuals committing asylum fraud and entering our country illegally. They should also be investigated for trafficking. The victim narrative is going up in flames.

Just The News: “President Donald Trump on Wednesday signed into law the GOP-led Laken Riley Act, crafted to crack down on illegal migrants who have committed crimes. It was drafted after the February 2024 murder of Georgia nursing student Laken Riley by an illegal migrant who had previously been arrested in connection with shoplifting.
The Laken Riley Act is the first legislation Trump has signed into law since taking office Jan. 20. Trump signed the measure in a White House event in which he reviewed his first 10 days in office, including him reiterating that has ordered all federal employees back to their offices by Feb. 6.
“Laken Riley was a brilliant and beautiful nursing student, the best in her class,” Trump said before signing the measure. “So sad. … The world will never forget Laken Riley.”
The bill originated in the GOP-led House and if signed into law would require the Department of Homeland Security to detain illegal immigrants charged with or convicted of theft-related crimes.
Riley’s mother and father attended the event. Trump at the event thanked congressional Democrats who supported the bill. “Our family will forever be grateful,” said mother Allyson Philips.
The act will also now allow states to sue DHS for alleged failures in immigration enforcement. The House passed the bill with bipartisan support, then sent it to the Senate, where it also was passed with bipartisan support but also with some changes, which sent the measure back to the lower chamber, slowing its arrival to Trump’s desk.”

“RFK Jr. Stuns Critics With Masterclass Senate Confirmation Performance — Elizabeth Warren tried to put RFK Jr. on the spot. What happened next was priceless.”
The Vigilant Fox, Jan 29, 2025
Share
EXCERPT: “Robert Kennedy Jr. just endured 3.5 hours of relentless grilling by Senate Democrats—but to their dismay, he responded with poise, deep knowledge, and an undeniable passion for tackling America’s chronic disease crisis. In his opening statement, he expertly broke down the nation’s health catastrophe, exposing the alarming trends plaguing millions of Americans.
“Today, Americans’ overall health is in grievous condition. Over 70% of adults and a third of children are overweight or obese.”
“Diabetes is 10 times more prevalent than it was during the 1960s. Cancer among young people is rising by 1 or 2% a year. Autoimmune diseases, neurodevelopmental disorders, Alzheimer’s, asthma, ADHD, depression, addiction, and a host of other physical and mental health conditions are all on the rise, some of them exponentially.”
“The United States has worse health than any other developed nation. Yet we spend more on health care—at least double, and in some cases triple, what other countries spend. Last year, we spent $4.8 trillion, not counting the indirect cost of missed work.”
“A healthy person has a thousand dreams. A sick person has only one. Today, over half of our countrymen and women are chronically ill.”
(Video)
Things quickly escalated when Dem Senator Mark Warner tried to corner Kennedy into agreeing not to fire current federal health employees. But when Kennedy refused, Warner suffered a complete meltdown.
MARK WARNER: “Will you pledge that you will not fire federal employees who work on food safety, who work on trying to prevent things like Salmonella?”
KENNEDY: “Senator, there are 91,000 employees.”
WARNER: “Will you commit not to fire anyone in the health arena who currently works on protecting Americans from cyberattacks in their healthcare files?”
KENNEDY: “I will commit to not firing anybody who’s doing their job.”
WARNER: “Based on your opinion? Based upon your opinion or your political agenda, or Mr. Trump’s political agenda?”
KENNEDY: “Based upon MY opinion.”
WARNER: “I guess that means a lot of the folks who’ve had any type of views on vaccines will be out of work.”
(Video)
Kennedy boldly stated during his testimony that Americans do not like the Affordable Care Act before directing a pointed question at the hecklers in the crowd.
“They would prefer to be on private insurance…I would ask any of the Democrats who were chuckling just now: Do you think all that money, that $900 billion that we’re sending to Medicaid every year, has made Americans healthy? Do we think it’s working for ANYBODY?!”
(Video)
An incredible thing happened when Kennedy stunned Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto (D-NV) into complete silence by exposing the harsh reality of America’s dire health crisis. If you watch one moment from the hearing, make it this one.
“President Trump has asked me to end the chronic disease epidemic and make America healthy again… and that is what I’m doing. And if we don’t solve that problem, Senator, all of the other disputes we have about who’s paying—whether it’s insurance companies, whether it’s providers, whether it’s HMOs, whether it’s patients or families—all of those are just moving deck chairs around on the Titanic.
“Our ship is sinking. Our 60% increase in Medicaid over the past four years is the biggest budget line now, and it’s growing faster than any other. No other nation in the world has what we have here.
“No other nation has a chronic disease burden like we do. We have the highest chronic disease burden of any country in the world. During COVID, we had 16% of the COVID deaths in a country where we only have 4.2% of the world’s population. We had a higher death count than any country in the world.
“And when the CDC was asked why, they said it’s because Americans are the sickest people on earth. The average American who died from COVID had 3.8 chronic diseases. This is an existential threat—economically, to our military, to our health, and to our sense of well-being.
“And it is a priority for President Trump. And that’s why he asked me to run the agency. And if I’m privileged to be confirmed, that’s exactly what I’ll do.”

“Single Men Begin Dressing As Illegal Immigrants Hoping Kristi Noem Will Detain Them”
U.S. · Jan 29, 2025 · BabylonBee.com
NEW YORK, NY — ICE operations to round up and deport undocumented immigrants hit an unexpected snag yesterday, as agents discovered that single men had begun dressing as illegal aliens in hopes that Kristi Noem would detain them.
Immigration agents confirmed that they had mistakenly apprehended multiple single American men who had cleverly disguised themselves as foreign nationals with the goal of having the new Secretary of Homeland Security take custody of them.
“Aye, mami! Come arrest me! I’m totally here illegally!” one man was heard shouting in the street where Noem was leading the raid. “I’m from a different country, okay? I came here without following the proper channels. So illegal. Come slap the cuffs on me, mamacita!”
After being taken into custody, agents eventually identified the man as Tony Henson, a single, white male from Brooklyn. Henson had put on a fake mustache and sombrero in an ingenious attempt to fool federal agents into introducing him to Secretary Noem.
“He almost got away with it,” said ICE agent Michael Oxner. “The hat, the mustache… that’s what they all look like. It was a foolproof disguise. Unfortunately for him, when our interpreter started to question him in Spanish, he could only respond with the words ‘taco,’ ‘burrito,’ and ‘chalupa.’ That tipped us off. Turns out he only wanted to meet Kristi Noem.”
Agents reported that they had encountered approximately 25 single men hoping to be detained by Secretary Noem.
At publishing time, illegal alien men were also reportedly beginning to line up to be frisked by Noem and escorted to a private room for questioning.

Just The News: “The Senate on Wednesday confirmed former GOP congressman Lee Zeldin to lead the Environmental Protection Agency.
Zeldin was nominated for the post by President Donald Trump following about eight years serving New York’s 1st Congressional District and a gallant 2022 bid to become governor of a largely Democratic state, losing by just five percentage points.
He is also an Army Reserve lieutenant colonel, according to Fox News.”

Investigation: Healthcare Driven by AI Technology Will Lead to More Mass Surveillance of Americans
Well before President Donald Trump announced support for Stargate, a $500 billion private-sector AI project, Silicon Valley and the DOD had already teamed up to transform U.S. healthcare into an AI-driven system reliant on the widespread collection of personal healthcare data, according to a new investigative report by Unlimited Hangout’s Max Jones.
by Brenda Baletti, Ph.D., January 29, 2025
EXCERPT: “During a press conference with Silicon Valley luminaries during his second day in office, President Donald Trump threw his political support behind a $500 billion private-sector artificial intelligence (AI) project called Stargate.
The joint venture between OpenAI, Oracle, SoftBank and others will fund infrastructure for AI. Among other things, part of that funding will develop AI for early cancer detection and the rapid creation of mRNA cancer vaccines.
But well before Trump’s announcement, Silicon Valley and the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) had already teamed up to transform U.S. healthcare into an AI-driven system — a system designed to unleash the power of “predictive medicine” for the early detection and treatment of disease, in an individual or population, sometimes even before an illness manifests, according to a new investigative report by Unlimited Hangout’s Max Jones.
The future of predictive medicine depends on data sharing between the DOD, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), which oversees 13 public health agencies, and the private tech sector, Jones wrote. Predictive medicine will be used for mass surveillance of Americans, and will inform future approaches to pandemics, Jones reported.
Jones said that at the heart of this new system is the Center for Forecasting and Outbreak Analytics (CFA). Announced last year by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), CFA aims to establish “a National Weather Service, but for infectious diseases” — using mass data collection to predict and control disease outbreaks, The Defender reported…..”
