Morning All!

Morning, Pat! Thank you so much for the shout-out! No snow here yet, thankfully, 26 and cloudy skies. Snow flurries are coming but nothing measurable, supposedly – that can always change. But REALLY cold coming up this week-end – down to 5 Saturday night! Supposed to be back up into the mid-30’s next week. I left Wheezer’s food out when I went to Norfolk yesterday – when I got back, he had eaten and left…..the new routine, apparently. Have fun with the family!

Thinking Kakala will be back to Working It, on the streets of San Francisco.
Kamala Harris’ problems worsen. Kamala has reached out to prominent donors and even sought assistance from Nancy Pelosi to address her campaign debts.
However, she has been met with outright rejection or conditional support—with some top Dem donors asking her to sign a pledge not to seek the Democrat Party nomination in 2028 in exchange for financial assistance.
The joy is gone.

It’s always the little people who get used, abused and discarded….I was not aware of this aspect of the Biden/Burisma clusterfuck. Notice the trial is set BEFORE inauguration day – scrambling, aren’t they???
EXCERPT: “One of the most disturbing scandals of the Hunter Biden saga is the imprisonment without trial of former FBI informant Alexander Smirnov. The Ukrainian-born Israeli-American, who once told his FBI handler about Ukrainian claims of a $10 million bribe to the Bidens, has been languishing in a Los Angeles prison for nine months on charges that he lied to the FBI.
Last week, federal prosecutors slapped new tax-evasion charges on Smirnov, 43, which suggests they know their original indictment is too weak for a jury to convict him when he faces trial beginning Jan. 8.
Smirnov was one of the FBI’s most trusted confidential human sources, paid more than $100,000 during what his lawyers call “undivided, years-long loyalty to the United States” before he was thrown to the wolves in the middle of the Biden impeachment inquiry.
Busted in February
He was arrested in February on charges that he “provided false derogatory information to the FBI in 2020 about Joseph Biden, who at the time was a candidate for president and had previously been the vice president.
“The alleged false information concerned Joseph Biden’s and his son Hunter Biden’s involvement with Burisma Holdings Ltd., a Ukrainian energy business.”
When the FBI searched Smirnov’s Las Vegas apartment, they found “a hat emblazoned with an anti- [Biden] euphemism” — presumably “Let’s Go Brandon” — which the indictment says demonstrates “bias” against Joe Biden and “bears on the defendant’s motive in providing the FBI with false derogatory information about” Joe.
Joe managed to evade impeachment over his family’s influence-peddling schemes — in part because of the Smirnov indictment — and is expected either to pardon his son or commute Hunter’s twin sentences next month in felony gun and tax-fraud cases.
Yet it is Smirnov who is under indictment, when he merely relayed to his FBI handler a conversation he claimed to have had about Hunter with Mykola Zlochevsky, the owner of Burisma….”

DNC national finance committee member Lindy Li on Harris campaign donor call: “We were amazed by how self-congratulatory the tone was … I don’t recall anyone taking responsibility for the fact that we spent about $2 billion across the super PAC and the campaign and came up so significantly short. We lost seven swing states.”
“I believe at one moment during the call, she was talking about her Thanksgiving recipe. And I don’t say this with any malice or anything; I’m just merely conveying what happened. I think I was stunned to hear that, given just the extent and brutality of the loss and the fact that DNC staffers — at least two-thirds — have been fired summarily. And a lot of them are at a loss as to what to do.”
“I’m just, frankly, stunned that there was no sort of post-mortem or an analysis of how we can do better, what sort of lessons were learned. It was really just patting each other on the back, congratulating each other on I’m not sure what. And saying, ‘We’ll see you for Christmas.’”

“The PJ Media ‘Turkey of the Year’ Award Goes to…”
PJ Media, Scott Pinsker | 3:41 PM on November 27, 2024
“I never said most of the things I said,” claimed the eminently quotable Yogi Berra. And he’s right: Although his (many) malapropisms were legendary, there’s also a large category of “things that kinda-sorta sound like stuff Yogi would say” that also gets lumped in. But that’s how pop culture works: “When the legend becomes fact, print the legend.”
The same applies to Ben Franklin, America’s first super-genius entrepreneur. He invented the lightning rod, bifocals, the Franklin stove, and swimming fins and discovered electricity. So whenever a hack writer wants to bestow an idea with extra credibility, they manufacture a Franklinesque quote to support it.
One idea that’s still falsely attributed to Franklin is switching America’s symbol from the bald eagle to a turkey. In 1784, he wrote a letter to his daughter in which he claimed the bald eagle was a “Bird of bad moral Character.” By contrast, he spoke more highly of the turkey: “For the Truth the Turkey is in Comparison a much more respectable Bird, and withal a true original Native of America… His is besides, though a little vain and silly, a Bird of Courage, and would not hesitate to attack a Grenadier of the British Guards who should presume to invade his Farm Yard with a red Coat on.”
But he never lobbied Congress to name the turkey our national bird! That never happened. Like Abraham Lincoln always used to say, “Don’t believe everything you read on the Internet.”
And that’s a very good thing, too: If the turkey was our national bird, we couldn’t eat it on Thanksgiving. (And mankind cannot live on stuffing, gravy, the Dallas Cowboys, and pumpkin pie alone.) Furthermore, we wouldn’t be able to use “turkey” as a euphemism for a stupid or foolish person. That only started in the 1950s — and if the turkey was our longstanding national symbol, this association would (probably) never have been made.
But due to good fortune, the turkey became our Thanksgiving dinner instead of our national bird — and “turkey” became shorthand for a dunce. With this in mind, we hereby present the PJ Media “Turkey of the Year” award to… drumroll, please…
The leadership of the Democratic Party! C’mon, guys — take a bow!
When 2024 began, Joe Biden was young, spry, and in the best shape of his life. (Wait: That’s not true at all.) Anyhoo, with 2024 being an election year, the Democratic Party stood before two paths. The choice was entirely theirs. The first path was to be honest and transparent: President Biden is an octogenarian with poor approval ratings, so let him earn his Democratic nomination in the primaries and prove his stamina and endurance to the American people. May the best man win!
The second path was: LOL, screw that! We’ll hide Biden, block challengers like RFK Jr., and just keep on insisting he’s “sharp as a tack.” Obviously, they took the second path. A few months later, President Biden blurted, “We finally beat Medicare!” during his one presidential debate. Uh oh. The Democratic Party panicked, pushed Biden out, and searched for his replacement. Time for someone new. But who?
The Biden administration was extraordinarily unpopular. The American people kept telling pollsters over and over again that they were unhappy with the direction of our country — that inflation was out of control. “We don’t care about pronouns! We care about groceries!”
At this point, the Democratic Party should’ve realized that its best bet for retaining power would be to nominate someone from the outside — a person wholly disconnected from the failures, ineptitude, and shortcomings of the Biden years. Instead, they nominated Biden’s vice president.
But really, they didn’t have much of a choice: He who lives by identity politics dies by identity politics! And after so many decades blasting the GOP for being anti-woman and anti-minority, the Democrats couldn’t bypass the one minority woman who was already VP. They were stuck.
Ah, but not all hope is lost: Donald Trump was weakened by lawfare and other controversies! Surely, a smart, targeted presidential campaign that focuses like a laser on the issues bedeviling the American people would be enough to extend the Democrat’s control of the White House. Right?
So which issue should Kamala Harris accentuate first? Her solution for sky-high inflation? How she’ll fix the housing crisis? Maybe her cure for the still spiraling cost of living? Nah. Instead, the Democrats ran on two key issues: Abortion and Trump being “literally Hitler.”
Of course, Trump isn’t “literally Hitler.” He’s a left-of-center Republican who just appointed a bunch of ex-Democrats (Tulsi Gabbard, Scott Bessent, RFK Jr.) to his cabinet. By the standards of George W. Bush, this is probably the most liberal Republican cabinet since the Nixon years.
Optically, while Kamala Harris and Tim Walz were calling him a Nazi, Trump was flipping McDonald’s burgers, driving a garbage truck, and launching America’s next dance craze. It created a perceptual disconnect: The American people listened to Harris, looked at Trump, and thought to themselves, “Not only is this guy not Hitler, but if the Democrats are lying about that… what else are they lying about?”
It was clear that their strategy wasn’t working. Even internally, the Harris-Walz campaign knew they never once had the lead. Yet they stubbornly — and inexplicably — refused to modify their strategy, blowing through $1.5 billion in just 15 weeks! Talk about gobble, gobble!
Take a bow, Democratic Party leadership. You didn’t deserve to win the 2024 election, but you’ve certainly earned the PJ Media “Turkey of the Year” award. And then some.”

While you’re at it, change it so that it reflects citizens vs. non-citizens – that would certainly change the way electoral votes are counted, thereby resulting in representation for only US citizens, NOT the illegals since they deserve no representation!!!
Just The News: “House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer said Wednesday his panel is looking into the Census Bureau miscounting in the 2020 census.
The Kentucky Republican said the panel will hold its first hearing on the matter on Dec. 5. The committee will investigate statistically significant miscounts that were found in the 2020 census in 14 states by the Census Bureau’s 2020 Post-Enumeration Survey.
The miscounts likely changed how both representation was apportioned in the House of Representatives and electoral votes were allocated among states. The panel will also review the Census Bureau’s activities, which include preparations for the 2030 decennial census.
“The Census Bureau’s review of the 2020 census revealed substantial miscounts and discrepancies tending to benefit Democrat-run states,” Comer said. “Congress has a responsibility to conduct oversight of these massive errors to ensure they are not repeated in the 2030 census.”

Just The News: “A federal judge on Wednesday dismissed January 6 defendant Ray Epps’ year-long defamation lawsuit against Fox News, ruling that Epps failed to “state a claim.”
Epps, who some conservatives had speculated was an undercover FBI agent sent by the bureau to stoke the January 6 riot in 2021, filed the lawsuit last year, claiming that an indictment from the Justice Department might not have surfaced against him if it wasn’t for Fox’s coverage.
The January 6 defendant also argued that Fox News and former host Tucker Carlson engaged in a “years-long campaign spreading falsehoods about Epps.” Those falsehoods, the original complaint alleged, had destroyed the lives of Epps and his wife, per NBC News.
U.S. District Court Judge Jennifer Hall on Wednesday agreed with Fox News’ argument that Epps failed to “state a claim.”
Fox told CNN it was “pleased” with the judge’s decision, stating that the ruling, along with other rulings in recent cases against the company, were “preserving the press freedoms of the First Amendment.”
Epps was sentenced in January to one-year probation for his participation in the riot, after pleading guilty to a single charge of engaging in disorderly or disruptive conduct in a restricted building or grounds.
The FBI has denied any ties to Epps, stating that he has never been an asset of the bureau.”

Just The News: “Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is leading 10 other GOP state attorneys general in a lawsuit against BlackRock, State Street Corporation and Vanguard Group, three of the largest asset managers worldwide, for allegedly violating antitrust laws.
The firms allegedly conspired to use anticompetitive trade practices to artificially constrict the coal market, according to Paxton’s office. They acquired substantial stockholdings in all significant, publicly held coal producers in the U.S., allowing them to have the power to control coal company policies. These asset managers pushed for reduced coal output by more than half by 2030.
The 10 other states that joined the lawsuit are Alabama, Arkansas, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, West Virginia, and Wyoming.
“Texas will not tolerate the illegal weaponization of the financial industry in service of a destructive, politicized ‘environmental’ agenda. BlackRock, Vanguard, and State Street formed a cartel to rig the coal market, artificially reduce the energy supply, and raise prices,” Paxton said in a statement on Wednesday. “Their conspiracy has harmed American energy production and hurt consumers. This is a stunning violation of State and federal law.”

“Five Exciting Executive Orders Expected To Immediately Kickstart Trump’s Second Term: Tariffs, Transgender Military Bans, Schedule F, Drill Baby Drill, and More!”
Paul Ingrassia, Nov 28, 2024
EXCERPT: “President Trump can undo much of the damage from the Biden regime’s nightmarish last four years shortly after he takes the Oath on January 20th. The President’s reliance on executive orders will supplement a robust Republican led coalition in both chambers of Congress, providing multiple instruments for the 47th President to implement his bold policy agenda. Ever since his resounding victory, a litany of executive orders – ranging from sweeping tariffs on foreign imports to bans on transgender persons in the military to seismic reforms of the Executive Branch – have been proposed.
These initiatives will all help President Trump hit the ground running from day one, giving Agenda 47 a robust foundation right out of the gates, and allow the President to make good on his campaign pledge – and electoral mandate – to finally put the interests of everyday Americans first, once and for all. The following are five of the most highly anticipated of expected executive actions that the President might implement from day one. The categories range from economic to cultural to administrative reforms, and are designed to unspool the deleterious harms that have been exacted upon America’s economy, national security, and civic institutions these last four years.

“Hungarian opposition leader joins EU parliament alliance to take on Trump’s pro-peace plans for Ukraine — Trump is not even in office yet, but Brussels is getting ready to counter any influence they do not like”
EPP President Manfred Weber and Tisza Party leader Péter Magyar in Budapest. (Magyar Nemzet/Miklós Teknős)
ReMix, Liz Helin, November 28, 2024
ENTIRE ARTICLE: “Although Trump has not yet taken office, Brussels is already preparing a scenario for countering the pro-peace American administration that will take office in mid-January.
The three dominant factions of the European Parliament — the left-wing S&D and Renew, and the center-left European People’s Party (EPP) – have come together, issuing a cooperation statement in direct opposition to the direction represented by Trump, as well as to the interests of Hungary, reports Magyar Nemzet.
The signatories of the pact, which the Greens are also expected to join, “unwaveringly support Ukraine in maintaining its territorial unity.”
They are also in full support of the open borders migration pact and have made it clear that they will freely use the rule-of-law procedural system to keep member states in line, such as via withholding EU funds. In contrast, Hungary’s ruling conservatives, led by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, have taken a hardline stance against the same migrant pact, arguing it will overwhelm the EU with more mass immigration.
Fidesz MEP Csaba Dömötör commented on the new pact, saying that it was no surprise that Hungarian opposition parties DK and Tisza have signed on to it.
“It is an alliance of (left-liberal Budapest Mayor) Ferenc Gyurcsány and Péter Magyar, that is, of those who have been working against their own country for years and feel it their duty to align themselves with the position of the People’s Party in everything, ” he said.
Recent polling for eligible voters shows Fidesz at 27 percent, a drop of 5 points, while Tisza remains unchanged from the end of October at 34 percent. Meanwhile, for decided voters, Fidesz stands at 36 percent, a loss of 3 points and Magyar gained 1 point, hitting 47 percent for an 11-point lead over Orbán.The portal noted that it was unclear whether the continuous increase in those wanting a change of government is due to the economic situation and general pessimism or the political communication of Péter Magyar.
Other polls have the two parties far closer to one another in terms of support.”

“Trump and Putin Will Prevent WW3”
Clandestine, Nov 28, 2024
“EYES ON! 👀
Putin says that Trump will find a solution to the ongoing conflict, and that he believes Trump’s life is STILL in danger after multiple assassination attempts.
Putin says that the Deep States’ actions have been “uncivilized”, and that their behavior is too low, even for Russian gangsters, who do not bring family members into business.
Based on these statements, I think it’s safe to assume that Trump and Putin are indeed in contact with one another, and are negotiating to find a solution to the rising provocations from Ukraine/US/NATO.
Putin knows he just has to hold off until Trump is sworn in, and the threat of nuclear war will be over, the conflict in Ukraine will be over, and NATO’s expansion will be over.
I’ve been saying for years that Putin is an enemy of the Deep State, and he just proved it again. Trump and Putin will stop WW3.”

Transcript:
“President Trump a smart and experienced person will come up with a solution especially given that he has gone through quite an ordeal of fighting to reclaim the Oval Office well probably just like me you are amazed not by the fact that absolutely uncivilized means had been used against Trump all the way up to assassination attempts numerous assassination attempts and I think he’s not safe even now the history of the United States has known many.
But I think President Trump is a smart person and a cautious one, I hope. But what amazed me most, that in fighting him, not only Trump was subjected to humiliating court procedures, accusations and so on, but his family was attacked as well, his children was attacked. Gangsters don’t do this in Russia. When criminal gangs fight, they don’t touch children and women. It’s men who fight among themselves. But those guys stooped as low as that. This looks so bad that it only reconfirms how low the political system of the United States has fallen.”

“They think our kids ought to be able to change genders at recess. They carry around Ziploc bags of kale to give themselves energy. To me—to each his own. To me, kale tastes like I’d rather be fat. The race in the 13th District in California — maybe turning on a couple of hundred votes after counting for 3 weeks — is designed for trouble.
Republicans…get to work
News reporting out of Fresno — the largest media market in the district — say that 1500 ballots remain as being “challenged”. That means there is some defect in the ballot that can be cured — many are signature challenges. The list of voters with challenged ballots is available to the public and to the campaigns. The nature of the challenge seems to be such that the identified defect can be “cured.” The voter has until Dec. 1 to “cure” the defect. The election officials do not make any outreach effort but the campaigns can do so.

Buckle up, because here’s an extensive list of the issues that happened in Minnesota this election cycle:
– Republicans lost two state House seats after leading with 100% reporting on the SOS website on election night.
– One of these races was decided by just 14 votes in favor of the Democrat. 21 absentee ballots are still missing after a recount and investigation. The State House remains tied at 67-67 due to this.
– An election judge is facing two felony charges for allowing 11 unregistered individuals to vote.
– The Minnesota Supreme Court had to order the state’s largest county to stop violating the law by failing to appoint Republican election judges to the ballot board. Despite months of noncompliance, Democrats delayed action long enough for over 250,000 ballots to be processed under an invalid board.
– During early voting, ballots in House District 23A—a heavily Republican district—incorrectly labeled Rep. Peggy Bennett (R) as a Democrat.
– A courier for Hennepin County was fired after being caught leaving a trunkful of unsecured ballots unattended in broad daylight in Edina, Minnesota.
– After Tim Walz signed automatic voter registration into law, over 1,000 non-citizens had to be removed from the voter roles.
Will anything change?

LINCOLN’S THANKSGIVING DAY PROCLAMATION. – 1863
“The year that is drawing toward its close has been filled with the blessings of fruitful fields and healthful skies. To these bounties, which are so constantly enjoyed that we are prone to forget the source from which they come, others have been added, which are of so extraordinary a nature that they cannot fail to penetrate and even soften the heart which is habitually insensible to the ever-watchful providence of Almighty God.
“In the midst of a civil war of unequaled magnitude and severity, which has sometimes seemed to foreign states to invite and provoke their aggressions, peace has been preserved with all nations, order has been maintained, the laws have been respected and obeyed, and harmony has prevailed everywhere, except in the theater of military conflict; while that theater has been greatly contracted by the advancing armies and navies of the Union.
Needful diversions of wealth and of strength from the fields of peaceful industry to the national defense have not arrested the plow, the shuttle, or the ship; the ax has enlarged the borders of our settlements, and the mines, as well of iron and coal as of the precious metals, have yielded even more abundantly than heretofore.
“Population has steadily increased, notwithstanding the waste that has been made in the camp, the siege, and the battlefield, and the country, rejoicing in the consciousness of augmented strength and vigor, is permitted to expect continuance of years with large increase of freedom.
No human counsel hath devised, nor hath any mortal hand worked out these great things. They are the gracious gifts of the Most High God, who while dealing with us in anger for our sins, hath nevertheless remembered mercy.
“It has seemed to me fit and proper that they should be solemnly, reverently, and gratefully acknowledged as with one heart and one voice by the whole American people. I do, therefore, invite my fellow-citizens in every part of the United States, and also those who are at sea and those who are sojourning in foreign lands, to set apart and observe the last Thursday of November next as a Day of Thanksgiving and Praise to our beneficent Father who dwelleth in the heavens.
“And I recommend to them that, while offering up the ascriptions justly due to Him for such singular deliverances and blessings, they do also, with humble penitence for our national perverseness and disobedience, commend to His tender care all those who have become widows, orphans, mourners, or sufferers in the lamentable civil strife in which we are unavoidably engaged, and fervently implore the interposition of the Almighty hand to heal the wounds of the nation, and to restore it, as soon as may be consistent with the Divine purposes, to the full enjoyment of peace, harmony, tranquility, and union.”
