Northern Flicker

From birdsandblooms.com:

With eye-catching and distinct spotted plumage, the northern flicker is arguably the most beautiful woodpecker in North America. But their unique behaviors and characteristics are what really excite birders across the country.

Flickers in the East (yellow-shafted) have tan faces, gray crowns, red napes, black mustaches and yellow under wings and tail. Flickers in the West (red-shafted) have gray faces, brown crowns, no nape crescents, red mustaches and salmon under wings and tail. In the center of the continent, many flickers are intermediate between the two forms. These birds are 13 inches long with a wingspan of 20 inches. The slight curve in a northern flicker’s beak comes in handy for digging for insects such as beetles or ants.

Female Northern Flicker

Though both sexes share the same flashy field marks, the red or black face mustache is not present on the female northern flicker.

Juvenile Northern Flicker

Young male northern flickers (both yellow- and red-shafted forms) have a very pale orange mustache at first, which is replaced with the classic black or red mustache that adults sport before mid-autumn. So, in late summer or early fall, we might see young male flickers with patchy mustache marks, but a bird with a subtle face pattern is much more likely to be female.

What Do Northern Flickers Eat?

Similar to downy and hairy woodpeckers, northern flickers are primarily insect eaters, but they are harder to entice to backyard feeders. Flickers forage for beetles, flies and moth caterpillars, but ants are their favorite treat, and they work hard to get them. Using their curved bills, they dig underground (the same way other woodpeckers hammer into wood) where the protein-packed larvae live.

“I think it’s so neat that they prefer to feed on the ground—it’s different from other woodpecker behavior,” says Emma Greig, head of Project FeederWatch (feederwatch.org) at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology. “They like to feed on ants and use their long sticky barbed tongues to capture them. They’re like the anteaters of the woodpecker world.”

In fall and winter, flickers dine on wild berries and weed seeds, including poison ivy, dogwood, sumac, wild cherry, elderberries, bayberries and sunflower seed. This is the best time of year to lure them into your backyard.

Best Northern Flicker Bird Feeders

“Entice flickers with peanut hearts or sunflower seeds on a platform, the ground or a large hopper feeder,” says Emma. “They like foraging on the ground, which is why ground feeders are the most ideal. “When insects are scarce, any type of suet is a reasonable option for flickers,” Emma says. “They visit hanging cages or suet attached to a tree.”

If you don’t see flickers at your feeder right away, keep trying. “Even if you can’t entice them with store-bought food, create a flicker-friendly habitat if you have an open area of lawn in which they could forage,” Emma says. “Just be sure not to use pesticides if you want to attract flickers.

More Ways to Attract Northern Flickers

Northern flicker populations are in decline in certain regions of the U.S., but you can give them a boost by adding a nest box they’ll use. Go to nestwatch.org for more information and consult our chart for specific birdhouse requirements. Flickers prefer birdhouses high above the ground.

Bird baths are another option—all species need fresh water.

Nests and Eggs

A mated pair works together to excavate a nesting cavity in a dead tree, utility pole or fence post. The female lays six to eight white eggs inside. Northern flicker fathers do the heavy lifting when it comes to keeping the eggs warm. Their incubating duties leave them sitting on eggs all night long and half the day as well.

During breeding season, rival flickers face off in a display called a “fencing duel.” Two birds face each other, bills pointed up, bobbing their heads while drawing a loop or figure eight pattern in the air.

“This was the second year that northern flickers made a nest in an old maple tree on my property. I wanted to capture all aspects of their nest building and raising their nestlings. Here the male (above) was returning to the nest to feed them. When I saw this image, I was so excited. I think it shows the beauty of the bird with its yellow wing undersides, which are only caught when the flicker is in flight,” says reader Jeffrey Kauffman.

  1. Morning All!
slept in…lol…hard to get used to time change. I fell asleep in my chair around 8, woke up to go to bed, then couldn’t fall back to sleep. it will be like this for a while

    1. Morning, Pat! I’m still all discombobulated and off-kilter, what with trying to deal with a smart phone and issues with my truck, not to mention how to pay for it all. A lot of rain overnight (sorry!) – we certainly need it altho I’m thankful that the temp is 48 = no snow! No Wheezer when I first got up but I turned on the patio light and, sure enough, about 1/2 hour later, he showed up at the door. He was damp but not soaked so he’s got somewhere he goes to keep dry.

        1. It would be easier to say what isn’t wrong! As I’ve mentioned before, I’d dearly love to trade it straight up for a small truck. However, Sis told me yesterday she talked to some guys in her area who deal with such things and they said “Fat chance!” So that is out. I’ve got a huge 2004 F150 Triton V8 engine w/4-wheel drive extended cab. It’s got around 150K miles and I bought it in Dec 2014.

A good part of it is lack of maintenance; I drive so rarely, I just kept putting things off. And trying to do anything myself is pretty much impossible – best I can do is add oil (from a ladder, btw, and I can barely pull out the dipstick) & windshield fluid. Plus, my mechanic here couldn’t do a lot of things on the bigger trucks, like getting a front-end alignment. I had that done years ago but had to go to Tilden.

The 1st thing to go was the a/c, which I can do without, especially considering it would be a lot of $$$ to replace it – again, I drive so rarely and can time it so it’s bearable. The fan only works on high now; I’ve needed tires for a long time – still running on used tires I bought 4-5 years ago. Last winter, the 4WD quit working…well, it will come on but there was a loud almost-grinding sound coming from the left-front and when I stepped on the brakes, it jerked to the left. Now, I suppose that could be brakes (haven’t had new pads in years) or something in the steering….

I’ve got to have a mechanic give it a thorough going-over to find out exactly what is going on, how much it is going to cost to do just what is necessary & whether it’s worth it. Since the guy who tilled my cantaloupe bed this year also has a mechanic shop here, I am going to call and see if he can do it.

I have to know exactly where I stand and what I have to do. If all else fails, and it would be waaaay too much $$$ to fix, I will have to go to a dealer and once again have a loan to pay off…..I desperately want to avoid a 2-3 year loan and want to keep it to 1 yr. max and no more than $100/mo. That’s going to be hard to do…..sigh…..

            1. Well, you know how I feel but at this point, I’m keeping that offer on the back burner. You are sooo sweet, my dear! But the more I think about it and all the things that could be wrong: shocks definitely, struts, rear-end, who knows….I’ll probably end up being better off just buying something else. Time will tell!

  2. (VIDEO) – Interview w/Tucker

“Vivek speaks on Trump’s mandate, and how the current environment is suitable for an unprecedented reckoning on the bureaucracy.

This is what we have been waiting for. Trump has control of all 3 branches, and has overwhelming public approval. He has the political ammunition to actually drain the swamp, he has the surrounding cast to pull it off, and he has the precedent established because the Dems are the ones who started going after political enemies first. They can’t cry “political weaponization” after what they did to Trump.

Now the public are awake, the corporate media is dead, and they are not only more willing to accept a reckoning, they are actively calling for it. As compared to 2016, the public were still mostly asleep, the corporate media had full control of the narrative, and the masses would have erupted into violence if Trump arrested anyone. The landscape has changed. A window is now open.

I can’t definitively confirm that the reckoning will happen, but all the stars are aligning. If it was ever going to happen, it’s now. We have all the pieces in place. Now it’s just up to Trump and co. to execute.”

  3. Bill Maher Delivers a Brutal Wake-Up Call to Democrats, Exposing One of Their Biggest Problems — He actually goes there.

The Vigilant Fox, Nov 09, 2024

In the wake of the election Friday night, Bill Maher delivered a devastating critique of the intolerant left.

Reflecting on Kamala Harris’s last-ditch to captivate viewers on Saturday Night Live, Maher pointed out a major flaw with his party—a flaw so fatal that it makes it “not a good place for us to be.

    (Video)

“I saw Kamala was on Saturday Night Live, as the losing candidate often is… I’m sure every single member of the Saturday Night Live cast was a Harris supporter, but what if one of them wasn’t? What if one of those cast members was for Trump? Would they have felt comfortable saying so? I really don’t think so. They would have had to keep it to themselves. That’s not a good place for us to be.”

“And that happens even more on the left. I remember when Elon Musk hosted. And this is well before he was a Trumper. This is three or four years ago. He was just the richest man in the world. And a number of the cast members on Saturday Night Live, like, they didn’t want to deal with him.

“They didn’t exactly boycott, but they made it plain. And I was thinking, really, you have Elon Musk on your show for a week. You could talk to one of the most interesting, brilliant people the world has ever produced, even about this issue that bothers you so much—that he’s so rich and lots of people aren’t. But no, you don’t want to even deal with him.

“That’s what I hate about the left. You’re brats. You’re brats, and you’re snobs, and people don’t like that.”

Chinese citizen arrested again, accused of trespassing at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago

A Chinese national was arrested for trespassing at President-elect Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.

Zijie Li, 39, was arrested on Thursday on charges of trespassing after warning. Li had previously been arrested for trying to get into Trump’s home.

Court records obtained by Newsweek show that Li, who lives in California, was taken into custody by the Palm Beach Police Department around 5:15 p.m. on Thursday after he was dropped off at the location by an Uber. Members of the Secret Service, Mar-a-Lago security, and the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office were already stationed at Trump’s home.

Li remained in custody at the Palm Beach County Jail on Friday morning. Circuit Judge Donald Hafele set his bail at $100,000.

Li’s visit to Mar-a-Lago came on the same day as he was released from a mental health detention, according to the Palm Beach Police Department.

  6. EXCERPT: “By the time the 2024 presidential election ended with Donald Trump’s acceptance speech in the wee hours Wednesday morning, a conga line of job seekers had already formed outside his Mar-a-Lago compound, which has already returned officially as America’s southern White House.

The line of petitioners for patronage is a rite of passage as old as U.S. democracy. Some come because they enjoy deep confidences with the President-elect, and he will rely on their advice and acumen for the next four years. Some come because they believe their donations or volunteer campaign work merits a reward. Others arrive with the hope that they can serve patriotically in an administration that the American people have issued a mandate to carry out Trump’s detailed and lengthy agenda.

“I will govern by a simple motto: Promises made, promises kept,” the president told his victory celebration that defined the mission for all potential job seekers in the Trump 2.0 Administration.

With 2 million jobs and thousands of appointed positions open, there’ll be room inside government for many in that waiting line.

Every administration is defined by the few dozen most important voices and talents upon which each president builds his agenda. The good ones channel his vision, execute with precision and innovate their way to the finish line. And not all even take government salaries. Some shape from afar with quiet advice, and others grab the agenda in the private sector and match business and money to policy.

In sports jargon, they are the Olympics Dream Team or the New York Yankees “core four.” Their record of achievement – or lack thereof – will determine whether a president crafts achievements worthy of Rushmore or history’s scrap pile.

Here are 15 Americans who, according to Just the News reporting the last six months, are likely to play a profound role in the Trump 2.0 era….

    • Former Rep. Lee Zeldin….
    • Retired Gen. Keith Kellogg….
    • Elon Musk….
    • Susie Wiles….
    • Robert F. Kennedy Jr…..

    • Fred Fleitz….
    • Ambassador Ric Grenell….
    • Former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard….
    • Kash Patel….
    • Rep. Elise Stefanik….
    • Alfredo Ortiz….

    Other Key Players….

    • Mark Paoletta
    • Sens. Rick Scott, Ron Johnson, Chuck Grassley, Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio
    • House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan
    • Vice President-Elect JD Vance
    • Departing North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum

    1. Susie Wiles

No actor is better suited for being America’s first female White House chief of staff, or Trump’s chief compass setter. Trump’s first term blew through several chiefs in short measure. But Wiles showed during Trump’s historic comeback that two impeachments, four indictments, two assassination attempts and $1 billion in lawfare against her boss could not derail, unnerve or defy her uncanny ability to stay calm, focused and achieving in the natural drama of Trump World.

Wiles’ boss has only four years to achieve one of the most ambitious agendas in U.S. history. Such a task requires an unflappable and focused captain. Wiles may very well fit the bill and has a metal forged in the fires of the last four years of Trump world. She’s tough but kind, curious but focused and indefatigable but strategic. And no one manages the President-elect’s moods and tireless drive better.

  8. I agree with this 100%!!!

Just The News: “Conservatives online have rallied to urge President-elect Donald Trump to exclude former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo from his administration. As of press time, “#NoPompeo” was trending on X as the second-highest hashtag in the United States.

Driven in part by prominent conservative accounts such as Catturd and Jack Posobiec, the opposition to Pompeo largely stems from his comments in which he appeared to support special counsel Jack Smith’s classified documents probe.

Trump-backer David Sacks, for his part, pointed to Pompeo’s advocacy for NATO expansion and escalating the Ukraine War in expressing his concerns. “Just two months ago, while President Trump campaigned on the need to negotiate peace in Ukraine, Mike Pompeo stubbornly argued for escalating the War,” he posted. “Pompeo insists on NATO expansion that provoked the war. He’s dangerously out of step with President Trump’s views.”

Trump himself does not appear to have commented on a prospective role for Pompeo, though he has previously expressed interest in returning in some capacity.

“[I]f I get a chance to serve and think that I can make a difference … I’m almost certainly going to say yes to that opportunity to try and deliver on behalf of the American people,” he told Fox News in March.”

  9. I’m not particularly fond of him but he’s not as bad as others (like Dan Osborn) would be. It wouldn’t surprise me to see Osborn run against Bacon at some point.

Just The News: “Moderate Nebraska GOP Rep. Don Bacon on Friday was projected to keep his seat in the state’s second district. The Associated Press made the call at 6:11 p.m. Eastern, declaring Bacon the victor over Democratic challenger Tony Vargas.

The House race was one of the most closely watched Congressional races this year, where Democrats hoped to flip the seat. The swing seat is the most liberal of the House seats in Nebraska, and includes Omaha.

Bacon was first elected to the seat in 2016, and has since narrowly held the seat in subsequent elections. Vargas challenged him in 2022, but lost by approximately 2.2%, according to Fox News. Bacon, who has made a name for himself for being more moderate, is an Air Force veteran who retired in 2014 as a brigadier general.

The call comes as control of the House remains in question. But Republicans are leading Democrats with 212 seats to Democrats’ 199 so far. The parties need to win 218 seats to have control of the lower chamber. Republicans flipped the Senate on Tuesday, and took back the White House via President-elect Donald Trump.”

  10. “….Congratulations, Bo! Although the other four finalists also have incredible stories and lives. Now in terms of the cats, little Sweet Pea was an abused cat who was saved and given a very sweet and thoughtful gift:

Sweet Pea was brought in to the shelter from a parking lot in central Arkansas as evidence in a cruelty case in which her ears were cut off with terrible wounds left still fresh.

According to Kerry McKeel from Best Friends Animal Society, which is a leading animal welfare organization working to prevent dogs and cats from euthanasia in America’s shelters and make the country without euthanasia in 2025, the rescue group took in the cat and gave her immediate medical attention. Unfortunately, the organization was already too full of cats and kittens in its care, therefore they couldn’t keep Sweet Pea so Best Friends NWA offered their help.

Kerry shared in the interview with Bored Panda that cat’s pointy triangle ears were gone yet, despite the injury, Sweet Pea was beautiful inside and out.

“Whatever happened to Sweet Pea, it hadn’t broken her loving spirit,” the woman said.

I will never understand anyone who delights in tormenting loving creatures. But the fact that this cat was still able to give and receive love without fear reflects incredible resilience. She may have been down, but she was never out:

The next day, after arriving at the Best Friends Pet Resource Center in Bentonville, Arkansas, Sweet Pea went to stay with volunteer Erin Parker. Surprisingly enough, despite everything the cat had been through, she somehow felt immediate trust for her new foster mom.

“She’s super sweet, so I think at one point she probably had an owner that really cared for her,” Erin shared. “She wasn’t shy at all. She wanted lots of attention.”

Knowing that this cat probably had really been through a lot, Erin wanted to do something truly special for Sweet Pea.

“I don’t want her to feel left out,” Erin said. “I don’t want her to feel different from other cats.”

It didn’t take long until the woman came up with an adorably cute and very creative idea. Erin asked her crafty girlfriend, Chloe, to crochet a pair of ears for Sweet Pea and the result was unexpectedly cute

While some people didn’t like the prosthetic additions, the ears did the trick of getting Sweet Pea the attention needed. She found a fur-ever home with a family that loves her just the way she is:

“She adjusted to our household in no time,” the family, who adopted the cat, said. “She loves playing with her toys and sitting in the windowsill. Her ears also healed completely, and she doesn’t seem to be bothered by the trauma to them.”

And while Erin felt a bit sad to say goodbye to Sweet Pea, she’s also happy knowing that the cat is finally safe and appreciated. The woman also hopes that Sweet Pea’s story will remind people who’re looking to adopt a pet to take a second look at animals with injuries or physical differences.

America has been kind of like Sweet Pea these last few years. The people who we trusted to be in charge instead tortured us and clipped our ears; but it didn’t break our spirit. We fought back, won, and now we’ll bounce back.

Thanks to President-elect Donald J. Trump, America, and the dogs and cats, will be safe and have a bright future ahead.”

  12. “Rosie O’Donnell Vows To Continue 38-Year Sex Strike”

MALIBU, CA — In an impassioned announcement made in protest of President-Elect Donald Trump’s victory Tuesday night, celebrity Rosie O’Donnell vowed to continue her sex strike that has already reached 38 years.

O’Donnell made the vow in a video released on social media, promising to carry on her abstinence well past 40 years and into a fifth decade in an effort to show her outrage at Trump’s re-election.

“I’ve been protesting Trump’s presidency since the late 1980s,” O’Donnell said during the video. “All of these liberal women are coming out now and saying they’re going on sex strikes to protest Trump’s election? Join the club, ladies. I’ve been the one driving this bus for decades. I’m the original woman who stopped sleeping with anyone because of my outrage toward Trump’s fascism. Nobody has had less sex than me.”

When one viewer commented that Trump only arrived on the political scene nine years ago, O’Donnell dismissed the relevance of such facts. “It doesn’t matter that he only got elected in 2016,” she said. “The point of this is that I haven’t slept with anyone in 38 years, and as long as Donald Trump is president, that will not change. Probably even long after.”

At publishing time, O’Donnell’s close friends had confirmed the length of her strike and agreed that it was likely to drag on well past Trump’s second term. “Oh, yeah, she’s been at this a long time,” one source said. “She’s very committed to this. And everyone else in the world seems very committed to helping her continue the streak.”

  13. “Nancy Pelosi Begins Drafting Articles Of Impeachment”

    Politics · Nov 8, 2024 · BabylonBee.com

    Article Image

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Early reports from Capitol Hill indicated that President-Elect Donald Trump’s upcoming second term was already off to a contentious start, with Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi reportedly drafting articles of impeachment against him for his involvement in the 2024 presidential election.

“He won, and that’s against the law,” Pelosi said. “And, quite frankly, he’s admitted it. He’s admitted to winning the election, but no one is above the law.”

Though Pelosi no longer serves as Speaker of the House and was unable to cite any specific law or statute Trump had broken by winning the election, she remained determined to follow through on impeaching him again.

“He must be held accountable for this heinous crime,” Pelosi continued. “This is an urgent matter. We don’t have time to deal with citing actual reasons why he should be impeached. That’s not necessary. The important thing is to make sure he gets impeached for… something. We cannot let him be president again because that would be very bad for me, and that’s illegal.”

At publishing time, Kentucky Congressman Thomas Massie, who sits on the House Judiciary Committee, thanked Pelosi for her service and assured her he would place the articles of impeachment in a brand-new special filing cabinet that looked suspiciously like a trash can.

“Our long national nightmare is over. Donald Trump has been elected president again and life in the United States — and, indeed, the world — will never be the same again. Need further proof? Consider this selection of undeniable miracles that have taken place in just the short time since Trump won the election.

    1. Feminists are shaving their heads so everyone can easily identify them: No more worrying about which women are shrill harpies.
    2. McDonald’s announced that the McRib would now be available permanently: No more shall anyone go without press-formed ambiguous meat patties.
    3. Airline stewardesses are wearing hotpants and roller skates again: Also, you can now call them “stewardesses” again without getting in trouble.
    4. Disney will stop making Star Wars: The spread of darkness and evil has come to a merciful end.
    5. Joe Biden rose from the dead: He came back to life to give a speech but promptly died again.
    6. Liberal women spontaneously stopped procreating: An answer to decades of fervent prayers.
    7. RFK, Jr.’s voice was immediately healed after he touched the hem of Trump’s slacks: But upon hearing him speak clearly, everyone agreed that he sounded pretty liberal.
    8. The Rio Grande parted to allow migrants to be deported on dry ground: They can return the same way they came, but their feet will stay dry this time.
    9. A rainbow appeared in the sky, signaling God’s promise to never let Kamala Harris run for president again: Never again will the Lord destroy the earth with incessant cackling.

None of this could have happened unless the nation was truly healing from decades of division. Have you noticed any other signs and wonders? Post them in the comments below.”

I goggle it and we watch a different video. 2014 ram hemis DON’T have the “easy pop off door — you have to buy one AND a filter to have a replaceable cabin filter.
    sigh
so he will have to order the parts AND use a box cutter to open the compartment to insert the filter and then install the easy pop off door.

      1. even with the seat all the way back, it’s difficult for him to be in a position to see markings on stuff. so when i went down and saw what i supposed to see, i said, you’ve got no markings, no arrows, and it’s not a door.

then in the video i found, the guy states in the beginning 2014 do not have a door, you need to install one–the light went on for him.

the video he watched first showed how to replace the filter AFTER you’ve already installed a door…

      1. Thankfully, it’s got running boards – I step up, then pull myself up the rest of the way with the handle on the door frame.

    1. that picture of the farmers? hubby’s grandparents owned a farm and he has a picture of them looking just like that!!

I discovered that during the summer, a fruit/veggie stand of sorts forms in the Moose club parking lot on Wednesday mornings. I found out too late this summer, but I’m hoping to get there next summer lots.

      1. Oh, yeah – of course we have those. But you’ll not find them on the sides of the highways any more….that’s what I’m talking about. The small, family stands at the end of their lane…..I remember that one of the benefits claimed of the interstate was to avoid those stands. That was the beginning, I think, to where we are now. We had our favorites – you go to this one for self-picked strawberries, here for melons and that one for the tomatoes kind of thing.

        1. when hubby was driving to work, he passed enormous corn fields and one night he said I stopped to get us some corn. the gentleman at the stand told his son–go pick a dozen fresh for this fellow. hubby said–what you got here is okay. the farmer replied–I picked that this morning–you’ll get fresh.
that stuff sitting at walmart has been picked days ago…lol

    1. I dunno…you think those “put on notice” letters work?

they used burner phones and encrypted accounts the last time they went after PDJT…think they’re going to just roll over this time?

  17. 🔥🔥🔥Breaking! John Thunes and his Norm Eisen and Melinda Gates buddies are done for! This senate republican is on the dole from Melinda Gates and her Trump resistance Pivitol Ventures. No more backstabbing from Rinos, puhlease!

Melinda Gates, Pivotal Ventures, is partnered with and financially supports Trump color revolutionists, Norm Eisen etc’s States United Democracy Center. Pivotal Ventures is a social justice org.

It seems that Thunes has a pac called Heartland Values, and Melinda Gates and her Pivotal Ventures has been donating to it.

“Heartland Values PAC was created to help ensure that the common sense, conservative values that served as the foundation of John Thune’s election to the U.S. Senate are protected and amplified by public servants around the country.”

Sources to follow! Expect Bad Kitteh to tell you who should be senate republican leader. And Thunes and Cornyn aren’t it.

  19. “An Open Letter to President Trump, A Call to Action on COVID-19 — Please consider sharing this open letter to President Trump”

    Political Moonshine, Nov 09, 2024

“Please consider sharing this open letter to President Trump in all of its forms: social media, website, Substack, etc. Thank you.”

AN OPEN LETTER TO PRESIDENT TRUMP / A CALL TO ACTION ON COVID-19 @realDonaldTrump

    “Dear President Trump,

Congratulations to you and all of America on a resounding historical victory and the opportunity to remake the Republic in accordance with the blueprints provided by the Founding Fathers.

On behalf of millions of Americans, I implore you to make the victims of the COVID-19 “pandemic” an immediate priority for your incoming administration. What makes these Americans victims is the nature of COVID-19 not as a “pandemic,” but as a construct of enterprise fraud prosecutable under RICO statute.

Since 31 Dec 19, the analysis and investigation into COVID RICO crimes has consumed an inordinate but necessary portion of my entire life and it cost me everything – literally. The team for which I work has been in federal court litigating the COVID RICO crimes for several years now and to no avail; however, the fight goes on as we prepare to soon refile in another circuit.

Additionally, I have my own federal litigation against my employer knowing that I was an Oregon public school administrator and teacher subject to then Governor Kate Brown’s mask and mRNA injection mandates; and where I refused to comply with both.

Moreover, my personal circumstances relative to my COVID analysis are a part of an ongoing US Supreme Court case in the form of an amicus curiae brief filing.

From the very beginning and quite literally standing alone at that time, I’ve been fighting to expose the COVID RICO crimes including directly approaching two school principals, the human resources director, the superintendent, the school district’s law firm on retainer, the county sheriff, local GOP leadership, superintendents in other school districts, the governor, peoples’ rights groups, various House and Senate members, a former Trump White House advisor [personal friend], former Trump Administration White House Counsel [through a direct personal back-channel], governors and officials in a number of states, mainstream and independent media, and others.

It has mostly fallen on deaf ears and blind eyes but now your second opportunity in the Executive provides a second opportunity to act accordingly and begin to right the wrong of COVID; beginning with its victims.

My circumstances motivated me to take personal action on COVID and that landed me on my team sponsored by two Oregon State Senators, led by a doctor and supported by a wide array of highly skilled and capable attorneys, judges and other professionals.

In my own case, we are scheduled for opening arguments in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals on 05 Dec 24 where I seek compensation for COVID damages caused by my employer’s enforcement of arbitrary and capricious COVID mandates issued by the State of Oregon.

My circumstances are devastating but not as devastating as those who have faced or will face injury, illness or death because of coercion, manipulation or mandate.,,,”

  20. “Thank You For the Trump Landslide! Of Deplorable Heroes and Leftist Dupes”

    Peter Navarro, Nov 09, 2024

Poll: Which of these leftist idiots unwittingly did the most to help Donald Trump win? Mark Cuban, Barack Obama, Michelle Obama, Whoopi Goldberg, or Joyless Reid.

    “Team,

Here’s some thoughts on the lovely landslide. Laugh your butt off a bit as you read this. And always be sure to share with a friend or re-stack. — Peter

Thank You For the Trump Landslide!

The biggest difference between Donald Trump’s victory in 2016 and 2024 is Sherlock Holmes’ “dog that didn’t bark.”  In 2016, I remember all too vividly walking out of Trump Tower from the campaign headquarters the night after the election only to be greeted by howling protestors flooding the streets of Manhattan.

Not this time.  This time a beautiful calm has descended over this American nation.

Even those who opposed Donald Trump understand he will bring this nation safety, security, and prosperity.  Even those women who might have voted for Harris on abortion understand they will be better able to afford raising a family should they choose to have children.

For the Trump landslide, I want to offer my thanks first to Donald Trump not just for tirelessly campaigning through the last 60 days while his opponent sucked wind.   We must also thank my old boss for the preceding 60 months in which this ultimate warrior went through the hell of a losing campaign, myriad election interference efforts, a relentless smear campaign by the legacy media, and the slings and arrows of a weaponized justice system.  He could have gone quietly into that good night in 2020 and shot par well into his 90s, but he literally put his life on the line for us.

We must also thank JD Vance for being the kind of running mate that Tampon Bug-eyed Punch line Tim Walz could only dream about.  Vance’s dissection of Walz in the one vice presidential debate marked in inflection point in the overall campaign that could not have come at a better time.

The new Chief of Staff Susie Wiles and the inestimable Dan Scavino must also get a big thanks not just for helping to orchestrate and message a landslide but for also having President Trump’s back for what has been over a decade.

There are many other unsung heroes, and there’s not enough words in this column to note even a small fraction of them.  Forgive me for not naming you, but we in Trump Land know who you are and so does the Boss.

As for some other well-deserved thanks, it’s time to put my tongue in my cheek.  I’d first like to thank Joe Biden for being so easily duped to step down by Nancy Pelosi, George Clooney, James Carville, Bill Maher, and George Stephanopoulos.

A JOY-filled thanks to Kamala Harris herself for thinking the America people are so stupid that she could run a campaign from the political equivalent of a Pope Mobile that would shield her from any kind of unfriendly media or public scrutiny.

A big shoutout to Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, and Bruce Springsteen for proving that the only way Kamala Harris could fill an auditorium was to pack the stage with stars.  Fortunately, Harris never learned the lesson that she should have spoken before the performers so she wouldn’t have to face so many empty seats after they were done.

A very special thanks to Barack Obama for an effete, condescending lecture that drove proud black men into the Trump camp.   Michelle Obama was almost as effective at alienating white voters.

Somewhere over the last four years, once dear sweet go high Michelle lost the grace that made her such a political threat.  Instead, she spewed go low viperous anger that tried to make the election about what it never was, race.

Bless you Mark Cuban energizing strong Republican and Independent women.  Here’s a narcissist caught in unrequited love – Mark Cuban loves the camera but the camera hates him.  Are you listening smug Bill Maher and smugger Jon Stewart?

By far my biggest thanks must go to the legacy media which simultaneously drove its credibility into the ground and sent Donald Trump’s popularity soaring with its over-the-top Whoopi, Morning Joe, Joyless Reid, Rachael Maddow critiques.

Does Whoopi Goldberg have any clue that her daily Halloween costume garishness and Trump hating persona on The View appeals to only a small sliver of Americana that loves a churlish clown?  Does the Trump turncoat Alyssa Farah realize how small, petty, and smug she presents?

A shout out to CNN’s Jake Tapper and Dana Bash for conducting the only fair debate in the last three presidential elections.  ABC’s  David Muir and Linsey Davis paled in comparison and merely put an exclamation point on the unfairness of the media.

BTW, God bless CBS for getting caught switching an answer to a question in your Harris interview – it was just priceless and free Trump media.  The only thing more fun was catching CNN’s Donna Brazil slipping questions to Hillary Clinton.

Does the Fake News legacy media understand that its legacy now is going from an American institution once trusted by 90% of American before Donald Trump to only 10% now after almost a decade of the unfair trashing of Trump?

In contrast, Newsmax should be profusely thanked for its rise to a credible and formidable alternative to a subtly but all too often sinisterly anti-Trump Fox News.  A shout out right here to the Washington Times, Kelly Sadler, and Charles Hurt for putting together the best commentary section of any major newspaper in the country.  And an honorable mention to News Nation, which is at least trying to run down the middle of the road between liberal and conservative media outlets.

Thanks also to Real America’s Voice for being at the vanguard of Trump’s Deplorable Army, with guerrilla warfare shows like that of Steve Bannon, Charlie Kirk, Jack Posobiec, and John Solomon.   Bannon’s posse organized a hostile takeover of local Republican parties and precinct captains, Kirk’s youth movement mobilized the Gen Z’ers and Millenials, and it was a sight to behold.

Finally, before putting them in jail, we must thank Merrick Garland, Jack Smith, Fani Willis Alvin Bragg, Arthur Engoron, and Juan Marchan for weaponizing our justice system to steal Donald Trump’s money, drain him of legal fees, threaten him with 700 years of prison, and put Trump advisors like me in prison for simply doing our duty.   Through such weaponized injustice, Donald Trump went from being far down in the polls on the crucial threat to democracy issue to skyrocketing up right past Harris and neutralizing the issue.

Ultimately, we must thank the American people for piercing the veil of the legacy media’s lies.  We have a chance now to reboot our democracy and Fourth Estate and get on with the business of making America safe, secure, peaceful, strong, healthy, and great again.  Donald Trump is more than ready to do that.”

    @TuckerCarlson
What the hell is going on in the US Senate? Hours after Donald Trump wins the most conclusive mandate in 40 years, Mitch McConnell engineers a coup against his agenda by calling early leadership elections in the senate. Two of the three candidates hate Trump and what he ran on. One of them, John Cornyn, is an angry liberal whose politics are indistinguishable from Liz Cheney’s. The election is Wednesday, it’s by secret ballot, and it will determine whether or not the new administration succeeds. Rick Scott of Florida is the only candidate who agrees with Donald Trump. Call your senator and demand a public endorsement of Rick Scott. Don’t let McConnell get away with it again.
