Good Morning All!
got an early hair appointment this morning–just a short one–eager to catch up and see what happened at MSG last evening!

Good morning, Pat! M’s open today is a series of tweets from MSG but most are videos. It was perfect for me (and others I know) who don’t like watching the whole rally. I e-mailed all the X links to them.
Princess Bride was HB’s top favorite movie – she would watch it over and over and over and over. It was also one of the few fantasy movies that I enjoyed.
This furnace is going to drive me back to drinking….all day yesterday, thru the night and this morning – working perfectly!!! Sheesh! I guess I’ll wait a bit to demand they change the igniter….Wheezer was on the chair as usual – ate his tuna and departed. It got really warm yesterday, close to 80, and hopefully it will today, too – temp is at 59 now.

Morning Filly!
I liked it mostly because it was so funny. So any memorable lines and characters.
do you think whatever the problem with the igniter could be temperature related? it was warmer yesterday and it worked. if it punks out when it’s colder (when you REALLY need it) that would be a pain! but i am not mechanically inclined so just throwing out suggestions.

I don’t think so but, as you say, I don’t want it to happen once it really gets cold so I’ll stay on ’em about it. I think it may be a matter of corrosion, maybe, or possibly it’s just worn out.

“Unforgettable Scenes Unfold at Historic Trump Rally: Not only was the night filled with surprising guests, but Trump teased he has “a little secret” that’s going to have a “big impact” on the election.”
The Vigilant Fox, Oct 27, 2024
EXCERPT: “Hillary Clinton warned Trump’s event tonight would be a reenactment of a 1939 Nazi rally at Madison Square Garden. What actually unfolded was one of the most patriotic events America has ever witnessed.
The evening started off with a bang when comedian Tony Hinchcliffe explicitly stated the Democratic Party is looking “more and more like a P. Diddy party” after Kamala Harris received a wave of “crazy endorsements” from the likes of Enimen, Beyonce, and Leonardo DiCaprio, and Taylor Swift.
In an act of pure bravery, Hinchcliffe took on Hillary Clinton, warning the audience that if he somehow ends up committing “suicide” in the next couple of weeks, “[he] didn’t.”
“Hillary Clinton said that this is a Nazi rally here today. Can you believe that?” he asked. The star of “Kill Tony” lamented that Clinton calls Trump “Hitler” when he’s “the most anti-war president of [his] lifetime.”
“Let me remind you, Hillary, it was your husband who shot innocent people, or as he called them, interns,” Hinchcliffe rebuked. “Yeah, Hillary, I bet you did not see that one coming.”
Vivek Ramaswamy brought major energy, advocating for “safe neighborhoods, good jobs, clean streets” and “a country where you are judged based on the content of your character, not the color of your skin or your political beliefs.”
He then issued a stern warning to the illegal immigrants that the Biden-Harris regime allowed to invade the country: “We will return you to your country of origin, not because you’re all bad people but because you broke the law.”
Former Democratic congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard took the opportunity to issue a grave warning about what happens under a Kamala administration. She explained that a vote for Kamala Harris is a vote for:
• Dick Cheney and endless wars
• Censorship
• Open borders
• Economic hardship, high costs, and poverty
• Weakening constitutional rights and freedoms
Another former Democrat, Robert Kennedy Jr., described how the Democratic Party is completely unrecognizable from the party it was when his uncle, John F. Kennedy, was president.
“I didn’t leave the Democratic Party. The Democratic Party left me,” he lamented.
Kennedy explained the Democrat Party:
• Ditched peace and constitutional rights for war and surveillance
• Sold out the middle class
• Sides with the military-industrial complex and CIA
• Divides America with identity politics instead of uniting us
• Trashes women’s sports by letting men compete
• Bowed to Wall Street, Big Tech, and corporate overlords
• Brought in neocons and warmongers like Bolton and Cheney
• Backed disastrous wars and launched the surveillance state
• Pushed Big Pharma’s agenda, leaving us with the sickest generation ever
• Weaponized federal agencies to crush political rivals
• Abandoned public health while chronic disease skyrockets
The crowd went wild when Tucker Carlson issued a stunning rebuke to the ruling class, saying, “You are not better than us. No, you are not smarter than us. No, you do not deserve what you have. You probably stole it.”
He explained, “The big lie is that they’re impressive. That’s what the big lie is that the people in charge have somehow earned the right to rule over you, and they haven’t.”
“No fair system would make Liz Cheney powerful. No fair system would make Larry Fink rich. No fair system would elevate someone like Kamala Harris to a presidential nomination,” Carlson declared.
Things got electric when legendary wrestler Hulk Hogan ripped his shirt off and delivered a six-minute speech of pure awesome.
“I don’t see no stinking Nazis in here! I don’t see no stinking domestic terrorists in here!” Hogan observed.
“The only thing I see in here are a bunch of hard working men and women that are real Americans, brother.”
Something remarkable happened when Dr. Phil McGraw risked it all with a surprising speech in support of Donald Trump.
He called the Democratic Party a bunch of bullies because they ruin people’s careers and shame them to oblivion if they dare support Donald Trump.
Tonight, Dr. Phil gave the bully party a big (figurative) middle finger by throwing his support for Trump.
“I’m not here just to stand up for Donald J. Trump. Lord knows he doesn’t need me to stand up for him. He’s tough as an old army boot. He’s got lots of enemies, different groups that are scared. And between them, they have impeached him, indicted him, raided him, railroaded him, shot him, and sued him. And where is he? He is still standing. He just keeps on [standing] because he loves this country, too,” Dr. Phil explained.
Once J.D. Vance walked on the stage, he took the opportunity to deliver a seven-minute smackdown on Kamala Harris.
“Nine days from now, we’re going to tell Kamala Harris, ‘You’re fired. Go back to San Francisco, where you belong. Get the hell out of the White House!‘” he blasted.
UFC President Dana White had some equally-harsh words for Kamala Harris. He exposed the Democrats for using the same playbook that they used for Obama in 2008.
But there’s just one problem: “She [Kamala Harris] is not Obama, and she is no agent of change,” White explained.
“She is the sitting Vice President of the United States right now. What she hopes is that voters will focus on the future because she doesn’t want us looking at the last four years to see what we really need to change.”
The atmosphere became absolutely electric when a stoked Elon Musk entered the building. Musk roared with a sound that is hard to describe. Whatever it was, it was EPIC. Musk was asked, “How much do you think we can rip out of this wasted $6.5 trillion Harris-Biden budget?” His response was stunning: “Well, I think we can do at least $2 trillion.”
Musk epically told the packed audience at Madison Square Garden, “We’re going to get the government OFF your back and OUT of your pocketbook!”
“All government spending is taxation. So whether it’s direct taxation or government spending, it either becomes inflation or it’s direct taxation,” Musk explained. “Your money is being wasted, and the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) is going to fix that.”
“America’s not just going to be great. America is going to reach heights that it has NEVER seen before,” Musk continued. “The future is going to be AMAZING!”
The crowd responded with thunderous chants of “ELON! ELON! ELON! ELON!” To this, Musk replied, “You guys are AWESOME!” before joining them in patriotic chants of “USA!” Musk then urgently called on every freedom-loving American to vote and encourage their friends and family to do the same, aiming for a margin of victory “so big that you know what can’t happen.”
He called on voters to deliver a “massive overwhelming sweep of every swing state. And even some of the states that aren’t people don’t think are swing states. “Massive, crushing victory,” Musk reiterated. “Get everyone, friends, family, people on the street [to vote]. Put the signs up; put the hat on. Let’s go!”
The night ended with a cliffhanger when Donald Trump announced that he and Representative Matt Gaetz (R-FL) have a “little secret” that’s going to have a “big impact” on the election.
“Our little secret is having a big impact… He [Gaetz] and I have a secret. We’ll tell you what it is when the race is over,” Trump teased.
On the edge of his seat, popular 𝕏 influencer @BehizyTweets wrote, “I’ve never wanted to know something more in my life. What could he be referring to?”

EXCERPT: “The Biden administration’s Department of Justice is suing states and towns across the country in an effort to thwart election integrity measures ahead of the presidential election, resulting in pushback from election integrity advocates.
The DOJ has sued Virginia, Alabama, and rural Wisconsin towns over the removal of non-citizens from voter rolls and switching to only paper ballots and hand-counting. Some of the jurisdictions are fighting back, arguing that they are following the law as they work to ensure election integrity.
The Justice Department sued Virginia earlier this month over removing non-citizens from its rolls ahead of the Nov. 5 elections. A federal judge in Virginia on Friday ordered the commonwealth to place non-citizens back on its voter rolls. The judge ruled that removing the registered voters from the rolls violated federal law, WRIC reported.
The suit was against the Commonwealth of Virginia, the Virginia State Board of Elections, and the Virginia Commissioner of Elections for allegedly violating the National Voter Registration Act of 1993. The NVRA prevents states from using systematic programs to remove ineligible voters from voter rolls within 90 days of a federal election, according to the DOJ.
While Virginia argued that the non-citizens removed from the voter rolls are ineligible to vote, the judge ruled that they were illegally removed too close to the election.
“Let’s be clear about what just happened: only eleven days before a Presidential election, a federal judge ordered Virginia to reinstate over 1,500 individuals – who self-identified themselves as noncitizens – back onto the voter rolls,” Virginia GOP Gov. Glenn Youngkin said in a statement. “Almost all these individuals had previously presented immigration documents confirming their noncitizen status, a fact recently verified by federal authorities.”
“This is a Virginia law passed in 2006, signed by then-Governor Tim Kaine, that mandates certain procedures to remove noncitizens from the voter rolls, with safeguards in place to affirm citizenship before removal–and the ultimate failsafe of same-day registration for U.S. citizens to cast a provisional ballot,” Youngkin continued. “This law has been applied in every Presidential election by Republicans and Democrats since enacted 18 years ago.
“Virginia will immediately petition the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals and, if necessary, the U.S. Supreme Court, for an emergency stay of the injunction,” he added.
Following the court ruling, Cleta Mitchell told Just the News on Friday that the judge’s decision was incorrect….”

EXCERPT: “Deion Sanders is a unicorn in professional sports, the only athlete to play in both a World Series and a Super Bowl. Now as coach of the Colorado Buffaloes, the two-sport talent nicknamed “Prime Time” is following in the footsteps of another Christian football coach as a possible First Amendment test case.
Sixteen hundred miles east, a South Carolina man silently proclaiming “Trust Christ He paid the price” in a small Columbia suburb could spark an even bigger constitutional struggle over time, place and manner restrictions on public expressions of faith.
Dueling legal groups have spent nearly two years trying to persuade the University of Colorado Boulder to either ban the born-again Sanders from promoting faith in official team settings or publicly bless his gestures, most recently when Sanders started bringing an Atlanta-area multisite megachurch pastor into the locker room to pray with and motivate players.
First Liberty Institute, which is pushing CU Boulder to ignore warning letters from the Freedom From Religion Foundation, is also representing street evangelist Ernest Giardino against Chapin, South Carolina, officials who insist he needs a permit to hold a sign on public sidewalks and allegedly gave him a time limit for each side of the street in the town of under 2,000.
Whatever play CU Boulder is planning to run with Sanders, it won’t say. Athletics spokesperson Steve Hurlbert declined to comment “at this time” when Just the News asked for its response to the past month’s letters from FFRF and First Liberty and whether the school will affirmatively back Sanders….”

Morning Pat and Filly!
Wow the MSG Rally was something else again – bigger and bolder than any previous rally!
And our First Lady….she topped it!!!
First Lady Melania wore Zebra print to the Madison Square Garden rally last night – which in Navy terminology – Condition Zebra – means “All hands man your battle stations, set condition zebra throughout the ship.” Get Battle Ready!!!!! – https://ia903205.us.archive.org/16/items/mipc-dcfp_navy_mil/dcfp.navy.mil_3VRA6AFBX5PF75NOHUCFUEV5JDO3D55G.pdf
Last night she came on stage walking – strutting – almost stomping – to the beat of Guns N’ Roses’ Paradise City that had these lyrics:
“Take me down to the Paradise City
Where the grass is green and the girls are pretty
Oh, won’t you please take me home?
I wanna go, I wanna know
I want you, please, take me home
I wanna see how good it can be
I want you, please, take me home”
…
“Captain America’s been torn apart now
He’s a court jester with a broken heart
He said, “Turn me around and take me back to the start”
I must be losin’ my mind, “Are you blind?”
“I’ve seen it all a million times”
And then she introduced President Trump as our next Commander in Chief! – Stressing his military status as head of the military – America’s Chief United States Military Officer. Bet this time around there won’t be any creepy Milley style treasonous insubordination!!!
Remember throughout PDJT’s first campaign and first term, FL Melania sent messages in her choice of outfits – and she often wore military army green and khaki coat dresses with epaulets.
This lady is different now, she’s doing interviews. She’s more assured and confident – speaks out more boldly!
Melania Trump is showing that she is ready to fight for America and our people – especially our children!!!
She just glows with her love for children when she visits schools and hospitals!
She was always gracious and regal, kind and attentive, purposeful and intentional, but now she’s stronger and she is fully armored, armed and loaded, a formidable force. She a true female, without apology for being a woman, wife, mother.
She is taking no prisoners.
She will stand up for the Constitution against all assailants.
First Lady Melania Trump is a fitting companion and help-meet for her MAGA warrior husband.

Just The News: “Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner a Democrat, on Monday sued billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk and America PAC to block their million-dollar prizes awarded randomly to registered voters, arguing the giveaway is an “unlawful lottery.”
To qualify, registered voters have to sign a petition in support of the First and Second Amendments of the U.S. Constitution.
Last week, the Justice Department had warned that the program might be a violation of federal law. “America PAC and Musk are lulling Philadelphia citizens – and others in the Commonwealth (and other swing states in the upcoming election) – to give up their personal identifying information and make a political pledge in exchange for the chance to win $1 million. That is a lottery,” says Krasner, who is seeking an injunction.
“And it is indisputably an unlawful lottery. Under unambiguous Pennsylvania law, all lotteries in Pennsylvania must be regulated by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.”
In defense of the program, Musk has said winners can be from any political party.”

Just The News: “An electric emergency vehicle belonging to a fire department in Germany caught fire and burnt down the new fire station.
The fire, which occurred on Oct. 16, according to Euro News, started from a vehicle that “contained lithium-ion batteries and an external power connection.” The blaze destroyed nearly a dozen emergency vehicles and caused between $21.5 million and $25.9 million in damage. No one was injured.
The stations, which opened a year ago, didn’t have a fire alarm system, Euro News reported because “experts considered it not necessary.”

“Austrian kindergarten bins traditional St. Martin’s Day for ‘moon and star festival’ to avoid offending migrant community — The move has sparked a backlash from parents and politicians who fear Austria’s customs are being sidelined for cultural sensitivity”
Colorful lanterns at a St. Martin’s Day parade. (Shutterstock)
“A kindergarten in Austria has announced it will replace the beloved St. Martin’s Day celebration with a non-religious “Moon and Star Festival” so as not to offend the large migrant community. Instead of the customary lantern parade honoring St. Martin, the St. Pölten kindergarten will instead feature a “moon bear” character to promote themes of sharing and empathy.
On Nov. 11, Austria honors St. Martin of Tours, the patron saint of soldiers, beggars, and vintners. He was a 4th-century Roman soldier who is believed to have shared half his cloak with a beggar, and the religious festival symbolizes generosity within the Roman Catholic Church.
Parents of the children have argued that sidelining Austrian and Christian traditions risks eroding the cultural heritage they wish to pass down to the next generation. Politicians have also criticized the move, with local councilor Martin Antauer saying it treats Austrian customs with contempt.
“A moon and stars festival instead of a lantern festival in honor of Saint Martin. This is how St. Martin is being trampled underfoot,” he said, as cited by the Exxpress news outlet. He suggested that the move was made in “anticipatory obedience” to avoid offending non-Christian families, stating, “We certainly won’t be embarrassed about our traditions, as much as my name is Martin.”
The backlash mirrors last year’s controversy in Plainfeld, Salzburg, previously reported by Remix News, where another kindergarten barred Santa Claus, citing sensitivity to the diverse backgrounds of migrant children. “The management claimed diversity and cultural differences as well as some children being afraid of the figure, (Santa)” according to the Salzburger Nachrichten newspaper.
In response to parental complaints, the ban was eventually reversed with support from state governor Johanna Mikl-Leitner, who advocated for preserving Austrian customs.
While Austrian parents insist on keeping cultural traditions in the curriculum, education authorities maintain that the revised theme for the St. Martin celebration is more accessible for young children from diverse backgrounds, particularly with the “moon bear” as a figure. They argue that it better conveys universal themes of empathy and consideration.
The debate has reignited concerns that efforts to accommodate diversity are coming at the cost of local traditions.”

D.C. Kossuth House unveils memorial to Hungarian who played huge role in American Revolution — Known as the “father of the U.S. cavalry,” President Reagan called Kováts “a famous Hungarian to who American history owes so much”
Source: Wiki Commons
“A bas-relief depicting the heroic figure of Mihály Fabriczy Kováts (Michael Kovats, 1724-1779), the Hungarian founder of the American cavalry, was inaugurated in Washington, D.C., reported Mandiner.
On Oct. 25, Kossuth House in Washington inaugurated the latest work of Kossuth Prize-winning sculptor Sándor Györfi, a plaque depicting Mihály Fabriczy Kováts, one of the best-known figures of Hungarian hussar traditions and the American Revolution.
The Mihály Kováts Memorial Committee was formed on the 300th anniversary of the birth of Kováts to “preserve and promote his legacy in Hungary and in the U.S.,” read a press release issued by the Hungary Foundation.
“Through existing and new programs, the Hungary Foundation will increase awareness in the U.S. of Kováts’ heroic example, and the historic roots of Hungarian-American military cooperation. Kovats’ legacy is an inspiring example of heroism, perseverance, and commitment to liberty,” the statement said, adding a quote from former U.S. President Ronald Reagan, who called him “a famous Hungarian to who American history owes so much.”
According to the president of the Kossuth Foundation, Sándor Végh, who has been in charge of Kossuth House for many years, “the new relief has symbolic power, as it commemorates the undeniable historical fact that the Hungarians played an extremely important role in the birth of America.”
The central figure of the work created with the help of Sándor Györfi’s sons, Sándor Györfi Jr. and Balázs, is Mihály Kováts, who appears sitting on a horse and wearing a hussar’s uniform, radiating dynamism and strength. Two memorials neighboring this one are for U.S. President Theodore Roosevelt and Hungarian statesman Lajos Kossuth.
The inscription, “Faithful unto death,” is how Kováts had signed the unread letter he sent to Benjamin Franklin, then ambassador to France, in which Kováts offered to “sacrifice (himself) wholly and faithfully” in America’s War of Independence. He then traveled to America to do just that.”

Water levels at Cascade Lake have dwindled recently, revealing a sandy bottom and the knobby roots of its cypress trees. Many believe the lower water levels are from sinkholes. While the breathtaking sights are intriguing, Leon County Stormwater Management Coordinator Anna Padilla said the apparent drainage is due to a natural drawdown.

‘It’s a Slavery System’: Reject Real ID, Don’t Use QR Codes Ever
Nurse and author Twila Brase joined CHD.TV and “The Solari Report” to discuss the dangers of Real ID and QR Codes and how people can resist them.
by Brenda Baletti, Ph.D., October 28, 2024
EXCERPT: ““They’re trying to build a control grid and they’re building it in different steps,” Catherine Austin Fitts, founder and publisher of “The Solari Report,” told viewers of “The Financial Rebellion” on an episode of “Good Morning, CHD.”
Biometric scans, QR codes, Real ID, and digital money — they’re all steps in that process, said Austin Fitts. “And when they all link together, you are in a digital concentration camp and they can take all of your assets, they can take your kids, they have complete control. It’s a slavery system,” she said.
Some people oppose some steps and not others, Austin Fitts said. Conservatives tend to support a biometric surveillance system at the border, for example. But people don’t understand that the pieces are all part of building a total biometric surveillance system.
Austin Fitts — the former U.S. assistant secretary of Housing and Urban Development — cited historian Carol Quigley, who argued that part of the goal of financial capitalism was to concentrate financial control in private hands so that those who controlled the financial system could also control the political system.
Austin Fitts said today this type of control depends on the ability to centrally control the rules of finance. The central bankers are now merging with big tech, creating a control system. “And they’re doing it leg by leg, bit by bit,” Austin Fitts said. “And if you buy into the different bits, it’s going to snap together.”
She likened it to marching into the slaughterhouse. “We are helping to build our own prisons. You’ve got to back out,” she said
Austin Fitts said the key to a successful financial control grid is a high-quality national ID system like the national Real ID, that can be aggregated globally.
Co-host Carolyn Betts explained that in 2005, Congress passed the REAL ID Act, establishing a national system for sharing driver information across states. The system included federal requirements for more onerous forms of identification to obtain a driver’s license…..”

I am adding a short daily prayer to the board. I would invite each of you, if you wish, to also add one or maybe two of your own liking. I do not want to stifle anyone but please limit yourself to one or two religious postings. here’s one I found that I liked.
