Ugliest Dog Day

June 20th is National Ugliest Dog Day and I wanted to find out more about the “holiday”.  I found an article on National Today website that details all sorts of interesting facts about the day.

From their site:

Ugliest Dog Day on June 20 celebrates the pups out there with a face only a mother could love. But when it comes to man’s best friend, is there really any dog that can’t be deemed adorable? We honor the facially challenged ones on June 20, Ugliest Dog Day. What started as a fun contest has grown into an annual celebration of the not-so-handsome dogs amongst us. So grab your favorite pup and give him an extra snuggle today and as you go about your day, say hi to every pup, pretty and not so pretty.

History of Ugliest Dog Day

No matter how they look, the antics of furry animals will always be undeniably cute. There are some really unphotogenic pets out there, but hey, as they say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. This is why World’s Ugliest Dog Day is celebrated on June 20 every year. We love to love dogs every day, but dogs with facial deformities or less attractive features are in the spotlight today. Whether they lack fur or adorable faces, those puppy eyes will always get us!

The World’s Ugliest Dog Contest is an annual contest held in Petaluma, California, as part of the Sonoma-Marin Fair, to decide which of the dogs entered in the contest is the ugliest. The winner receives a trophy and the title of ‘The World’s Ugliest Dog,’ and the dog’s owner receives $1,000 in prize money. Since 2017, the prize money has increased to $1,600, along with a free trip to New York City.

Throughout the years, many dogs have participated to claim the esteemed title of ‘The World’s Ugliest Dog,’ with one breed, in particular, winning the most titles; the Chinese Crested. Since the inception of the contest in the 1970s, the most unsightly dog has been from this breed at least 22 times. With a hairless body and bulging eyes, the breed is still beloved and described by the American Kennel Club as an “ultra-affectionate companion dog.”

With social media full of content featuring cute fluffy animals with shares and likes stacked up, Ugliest Dog Days recognizes the not-so-cute lot and makes owners beam with pride for their unattractive pets.

Why We Love Ugliest Dog Day

It celebrates what’s inside, not outside

Dogs are loving, loyal creatures. They don’t care how their humans look, so why should we care about their perhaps less than perfect features?

It brings awareness to homeless pets

Unfortunately, dogs that may be considered not so cute often have a harder time being adopted. Remember your local pet shelter on Ugliest Dog Day with a donation of money or pet supplies.

It’s a chance to brag about your fabulous dog

Cute and cuddly or unappealing and smelly, dog owners aren’t bothered and truly believe their dog is the best ever. Show-off your dog and give Fido some extra loving today with a special day devoted just to the two of you.

  1. Morning All!
    it’s 70* again–and stifling outside.
yesterday on our dirt road making our banana ran, we saw a dinner plate sized black shelled turtle! The neighbor told us stories about a snapping turtle that used to charge up his driveway every summer trying to get to his pond. (he had a lot of bass in there which the turtle would love to eat) He chased it off every year with a large stick he kept on the porch for just suck a purpose.
We’ve never had turtles at our little pond, thank goodness.

we had rain for a long time, i know how you feel!
one more funny thing on our banana run. when we were leaving, there was a young-ish man standing on the side of the intersection. long hair, unkempt clothes, holding a sign that said “will work for food, gas, ride home”. when he saw us get closer he flipped the sign over his head. on the back it said U R BEAUTIFUL…
I cracked up and he smiled as we drove by…LOL

        1. Oh, that’s funny! He would have hooked me, just for his ingenuity! HB and I had a similar encounter once in the WM parking lot. As we were leaving, we saw a woman near the road with a similar sign, need $ for gas to get home, etc. Over in the parking lot, we saw a car filled with their belongings parked on the side with a big bald, bearded guy standing next to it. We decided to go back and see what was going on – he looked so very much like my SIL – and we wondered why she was standing out there instead of him.

They were indeed trying to get home to KS and thought that he would be too scary-looking, hence, she was out there with the sign – and she was right – nobody else would have stopped for him. After speaking with them for a while, we decided they were legit – I went back into WM and pulled $200 from the ATM and we gave it to them. They were so happy and thankful! It was just after I had received my inheritance from my Mom’s estate so I could afford it at the time. It made us both really happy to be able to help them.

Very interesting… Money sent to Ukraine is being used for Cobalt mining in Idaho. Lots of congress members own stock in this cobalt mine. Cobalt mining uses lots of water. The farmers in Idaho were told that there is a water shortage and they were being shut off. The cobalt mine will now be operating 24 hours a day and using tons more water.

How Far Has Trust In US Government Fallen? “Alright. Call me a conspiracy theorist or whatever the hell you wanna call me. I don’t care. But hear me out. What if, like, Russia and North Korea and China, what if they’re not the villains? Like, what if Russia has things stationed off of our coast to protect the citizens of the United States. Now I know that’s where I’m gonna lose some of y’all, but just hang on. What if our government is the villain? And everybody else knows this and that’s why they’re shoving it so far down our throats that the other countries are the villains. And now the other countries are finally sick of it, so now they’re gonna have to protect us from the real villain. Like I said, you can call me a conspiracy theorist or whatever you wanna call me, but I think quite honestly, anything is possible and on the table at this point. What are your thoughts?”

Why Did the White House Allegedly Kill an Anti-Corruption Bill? You Know Why!

The Hill is reporting that a bipartisan ethics bill that would force presidents to disclose how they earn money was set to proceed. Then the White House allegedly decided it may not be a good look for the bribe-taking, influence-selling, state secret-peddling Biden crime family.

The bill would have forced the Bidens to reveal any details regarding loans made by Joe Biden to family members. It would also demand to know whether or not family members were flying around the world on Air Force One for business reasons.

Rep. Katie Porter (D-Calif.) and Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.) joined forces — and lined up the necessary votes — to push the bill forward. Then three Democrats did an about-face and pulled their support.

“I was excited to come to Washington to introduce my bill. And was proud that I had found three senior Democratic co-sponsors,” Porter stated to The Hill. “When I landed, I was really disappointed to learn that those co-sponsors had decided not to support the bill and had had conversations with the White House.”

Los Angeles has finally opened their homeless apartment complex. The cost for each studio and one bedroom unit is a whopping $600,000 per unit. And, it only took ten years to build. I’m going to guess that Some contractors and politicians received some serious kickbacks.

“Los Angeles Opens Homeless Shelter That’s Nicer Than Some Houses”
    Excerpts:

Nope, they built a fancy high-rise apartment block, just for homeless people, right in the middle of downtown.

And believe me, it’s nicer than some people’s houses, boasting 228 studio apartments and 47 one-bedroom apartments, a gym, an art room, a library, and a music room.

All for the low, low cost of $600,000 per room to build on the taxpayers’ dime!

People on X have rightly made fun of this genius plan to make being homeless preferable to actually earning a living in L.A., with many pointing out that it will either A) be used to shelter illegal immigrants instead of the regular homeless, or B) be utterly trashed in a very short amount of time.

After all, that same article above noted that the number of homeless increased to over 75,000 people, while the city only grew its population by 46,000. That’s a pretty big difference in numbers if you ask me.

FBI Wants 20 Years to Produce Records on Its Involvement w/ OKC Bombing
‘If the Court accepts the FBI’s proposed snail-pace processing of these materials, Plaintiff will be close to 90-years of age when he finally receives all of them…’
    19 Jun 2024

    https://headlineusa.com/fbi-wants-20-years-to-produce-records-on-its-involvement-w-okc-bombing/

    Excerpts:

It’s been about nine years since Utah attorney Jesse Trentadue filed a Freedom of Information Act request for records about a CIA asset and FBI informant who helped fund the Oklahoma City bombing, as well as for records about a neo-Nazi bank-robbery gang also involved in the attack.

Tired of waiting, Trentaudue sued the FBI over the matter in February, demanding the bureau to produce the 69,375 pages of documents that it’s holding. But now, the FBI wants to take another nearly 12 years to fork over those documents to him, which means that it would take at least 20 years for the bureau to comply with his initial FOIA request.

Such a slow production rate is unacceptable, Trentadue said in a Tuesday court filing.

“The FBI proposes to process these records/documents for release to Plaintiff in monthly increments of 500 pages over a period of 11.5 years!” he said.

“If the Court accepts the FBI’s proposed snail-pace processing of these materials, Plaintiff will be close to 90-years of age when he finally receives all of them,” he said.

“He has already waited almost a decade for these documents/records, with the FBI having made no effort during the interim to produce them, and should not have to wait another 11.5 years to receive them.”

Trentadue has been suing the U.S. government for OKC bomb-related records for nearly 30 years, ever since his brother was murdered in a federal penitentiary. The complex story of how the death of Trentadue’s brother relates to the OKC bombing can be read in this Mother Jones article [link].

Trentadue’s latest lawsuit seeks records on FBI informant and CIA asset Roger Moore (not the James Bond actor), and the bank-robbery gang, the Aryan Republican Army, which he says was an FBI front group.

According to Trentadue’s lawsuit, Moore was an FBI informant as part of the bureau’s 1980s- and early 90s-era Operation Punchout, which was designed to identify and apprehend surplus dealers that bought and sold government property stolen from Department of Defense facilities in Utah.

Furthermore, Moore build patrol boats for use by the US Navy in the Vietnam War, as well as speedboats for the CIA, according to Aberration in the Heartland of the Real—historian Wendy Painting’s PhD thesis-turned-book about OKC bomber Tim McVeigh.

As for the Aryan Republican Army, Trentadue believes that was an FBI front group that also helped fund the bombing.

Trentadue’s Tuesday filing elaborated further on the ARA’s connection to McVeigh.

“During 1993, 1994 and 1995, a gang known as the Aryan Republican Army or “ARA” robbed banks and armored cars in the mid-west. Timothy McVeigh participated in some of those robberies and is reported to have used money obtained from these crimes to help fund the bombing of the Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City on April 19, 1995,” he said.

“According to Peter Langan, several members of the ARA assisted McVeigh in carrying out the bombing of the Murrah Federal Building.”

    Karl Denninger

We’ve all read about the other illegal invader who murdered a woman after murdering someone in El Salvador and then came here to evade prosecution and did not “just want a better life“; the evidence is that he wanted to commit more murders, and on the evidence in fact he did.

Never mind the recent arrest of an illegal in NY who illegally entered the US in 2021, was caught AND RELEASED, and just decided to attack a pair of 13 year old kids, raping one of them at knife-point; he was caught by members of the community who hunted him down.  He’s damn lucky I wasn’t there as they turned him over to the cops with only a minor beating first — he’d be missing his nuts if I had been part of that posse.

Biden wants to give those illegals who married an American “amnesty”?  I demand all the spouses who knowingly married an illegal alien go to prison for 10 years because they violated 8 USC 1324 by harboring said illegal alien

GRAND ISLAND, Neb.—An attempted robbery at a highway rest area in eastern Nebraska left a 72-year-old man dead and his 71-year-old wife critically injured in a knife attack Wednesday, authorities said.

The Hall County Sheriff’s Office said deputies were called to an Interstate 80 rest area shortly after 7 a.m. Wednesday and found the couple both injured with knife wounds. Authorities said Gary and Mary Weaver had been traveling across Nebraska in their mobile home before the incident occurred.

Mr. Weaver died at a Grand Island hospital. Ms. Weaver was in critical condition Wednesday at the hospital with life-threatening injuries, authorities said. The Weavers were from Eureka, Missouri.

The suspect fled the rest area in a vehicle before authorities arrived, but Grand Island Police Captain Dean Elliott told television station KSNB that officers were able to get a description.

The Nebraska State Patrol tried to stop a vehicle matching that description near Wood River and chased it at speeds of up to 120 mph before that vehicle exited the interstate and turned south. Mr. Elliott said the vehicle eventually drove into the Platte River. State troopers used a police dog to find the suspect and arrest him about 30 minutes later.

James Thompson Jr., 22, of Elyria, Ohio, was being held Wednesday in the Hall County Jail. He faces numerous charges, including first-degree murder, attempted murder, robbery and fleeing from police. Because he hasn’t appeared in court yet he doesn’t have a lawyer who could comment on his behalf.

  13. Just The News: “Within five years of a new program created to prevent deportation of minors brought into the country illegally by their parents, nearly 80,000 were released into the U.S. with arrest records. The majority were between the ages of 19 and 22 when they were arrested, according to the latest available data published by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).

President Joe Biden on Tuesday announced he was expanding deportation protections and job opportunities for recipients of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program created by executive order by former President Barack Obama in 2012.

According to USCIS, DACA applies to those who were brought into the country before reaching age 16 and were under age 31 as of June 15, 2012, among other criteria. Tuesday was the 12-year anniversary of DACA, which a federal judge has twice ruled is illegal. Several states, led by Texas, are still fighting to end DACA in a case that is expected to eventually be decided by the U.S. Supreme Court, The Center Square reported.

While the majority of DACA supporters argue recipients should be granted citizenship, claiming they contribute to the U.S. economy and are constructive members of society, others argue those with criminal records, at a minimum, should be deported.

According to a USCIS report, in the first five years of DACA being implemented, from June 2012 to October 2019, nearly 80,000 illegal foreign nationals with prior arrest records, including for violent crimes, were granted DACA status. According to the data, of the 888,818 DACA requestors, 765,166 were approved, including 79,398 who were approved with an arrest, or 10.38% of applicants, according to the report.

The number who were denied or their DACA status was terminated totaled 77,833, including 30,132 with an arrest, accounting for 38.71%, according to the report. The number of DACA approved or denied requestors with a prior arrest totaled 67,861. Those approved with a later arrest totaled 15,903.

By contrast, DACA applicants with an arrest (30,132), a prior arrest (28,093), and later arrest (5,017) were denied the status. The report also notes that some DACA recipients “may have obtained lawful immigration status, failed to request renewal, have had their renewal request denied, or may have had their DACA terminated.”

It also identifies how many DACA recipients were released into the country with a prior arrest, including more than 25,300 arrested for driving-related crimes excluding driving under the influence (DUI). Nearly 13,000 were arrested for immigration-related civil and criminal offenses; nearly 8,000 for theft, larceny; nearly 7,000 for drug-related crimes; more than 4,200 for DUI; more than 3,400 for battery; more than 3,300 for assault; more than 3,000 for obstruction, fabrication, false claim.

The report also notes that 41 illegal foreign nationals were granted DACA status who’d been arrested more than 10 times; 963 were granted DACA status who’d been arrested five times; 15,482 who’d been arrested twice.

Of the more than 202,000 arrests reported, the majority of DACA requesters were between the ages of 19 and 22 when they were arrested. The next largest age group with the most arrests were between ages 23 and 26, followed by those between 15 and 18, according to the data.

The greatest number of DACA requesters arrested were citizens of Mexico, El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, Brazil and Peru. The greatest number of arrests and the greatest number of DACA requesters arrested by their last known state of residency were in the same three states: California, Texas and Illinois.

According to the Department of Homeland Security, if DACA recipients “knowingly misrepresent information, or knowingly fail to disclose facts, in an effort to obtain DACA or work authorization through this process,” they “will be subject to criminal prosecution or removal from the United States or both.”

According to CIS, DACA is not granted to those who’ve been convicted of a felony, a significant misdemeanor or three or more other misdemeanors, or who pose a threat to national security or public safety.”

  14. I’m not sure how I feel about nuclear….double-edged sword, seems to me….

Just The News: “In an 88-2 vote, the Senate Tuesday passed a bill that will boost the construction of new nuclear power plants in the U.S.

Among other things, the ADVANCE Act, which was sponsored by Sen. Shelley Moore Capito, R-W.V., cuts regulatory costs in the licensing of advanced nuclear reactors, incentivizes the deployment of advanced reactor technologies, and directs the Nuclear Regulatory Commission to accelerate licensing review processes to site and construct reactors at existing nuclear sites.

“I’m proud the work we put into this legislation over many years is coming to fruition, and excited to mark a significant achievement for clean, reliable nuclear power,” Capito said in a statement.

The bill, which passed the House last month by a vote of 393-13, now heads to President Joe Biden for his consideration. According to Recharge News, the president is expected to sign.”

  15. Good for them!!! Hope this doesn’t get squashed!

Just The News: “A federal ban on carrying guns in post offices is now in question as a legal filing is now challenging whether the ban violates the Constitution. Two men, Gavin Pate and George Mandry, have filed suit against the Department of Justice over the ban on carrying and storing weapons at federal post office locations.

Pate is an Anglican priest in Arlington, Texas who argues he should be able to keep his weapon on him for personal protection. Pate and Mandry filed suit this week.

“Plaintiff Pate carries, and intends to continue carrying, his personal handgun during his daily activities, which include running errands,” the complaint said. “He is particularly concerned about rising crime in his area. Plaintiff Pate goes to his local United States Post Office in Tarrant County, Texas, once or twice a month. He disarms before entering for fear of arrest and prosecution.

“Because Plaintiff Pate does not like to disarm and lose the ability to defend himself, he mostly uses a local private post office. If he did not have to disarm, Plaintiff Pate would go to his local United States Post Office once or twice a week.”

Mandry is a veteran of the U.S. Navy who previously held security clearances but is not allowed to carry a weapon on post office premises, according to the complaint.

“Plaintiff Mandry’s customers sometimes pay him in cash or in money orders that he cashes at the post office,” the complaint said. “Because he often carries large amounts of cash, Plaintiff Mandry does not like having to disarm when entering the United States Post Office. Plaintiff Mandry would go to his local United States Post Office once a week if he did not have to disarm and lose the ability to defend himself.”

Under U.S. law, 18 U.S.C. § 930(a), prohibits carrying weapons at “federal facilities” which includes the post office, and a violation can lead to fine or time behind bars. Similarly, 39 C.F.R. § 232.1(l) also explicitly bans carrying firearms at a post office, as the complaint points out.

The challengers argue that there is historical precedent for preventing carrying firearms at Congress, courthouses and polling places, where the federal government provides explicit security and protection. However, they argue the federal government does not provide citizens protection at post offices and therefore shouldn’t be able to disarm them, especially since there is no historical precedent for banning firearms at post offices.

“Accordingly, the Middle District of Florida recently held that 18 U.S.C. § 930(a) was unconstitutional as applied to a postal worker indicted for possessing a firearm in a United States Post Office,” the complaint said.

In particular, the New York State Rifle & Pistol Association, Inc. v. Bruen ruling in 2022 helped pave the way for this argument. In that case, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that New York’s overly strict requirements for carrying a concealed weapon violated Americans’ right to self defense.

The Firearm Firearms Policy Coalition and Second Amendment Foundation are helping lead the legal challenge. “The Second Amendment protects the individual right to possess and carry firearms outside of their home for lawful purposes, including at post offices,” FPC President Brandon Combs said in a statement. “But unlike the USPS, we can promise that Attorney General Garland will receive this message on time.”

The latest Fox News poll is TRASH! They used a biased, Democrat-leaning sample of voters, polling more Biden 2020 voters than Trump 2020 voters to skew the results in favor of Crooked Joe. I am leading BIG in virtually every other poll, including in all of the key battleground states, like Wisconsin, where I just held a massive rally, and Pennsylvania, where I will be on Saturday. Also, the #1 issue in this Country is not protecting democracy. It is INFLATION and IMMIGRATION! If it is protecting democracy, Trump is your best choice, because Crooked Joe Biden is the greatest threat to democracy in history with his Open Border and weaponization of our justice system against his political opponent, ME! Fox News polls have never treated me, or MAGA, fairly! Don’t worry, we will WIN!!! Fox News should get rid of Paul Ryan, and get a new Pollster, but they won’t….

“Dr. Peter Navarro Responds to Question About President Trump VP Choice”

    ADAM MOLON, JUN 20, 2024

Navarro smiling, seated in front of an American flag

“After writing and publishing a piece detailing why I view Dr. Peter Navarro as President Trump’s best choice for Vice President, I started a public petition to provide a platform for fellow Americans to express their support for Dr. Navarro as an outstanding vice presidential choice for President Trump.

Later, I connected with Dr. Navarro for the first time during his political imprisonment via a prison e-mail system, and conducted a wide-ranging interview that was published in the Daily Caller on June 14.

Beyond the topics covered in the Daily Caller piece, Dr. Navarro also responded to a question regarding President Trump’s running mate choice.

The question and Dr. Navarro’s answer are the following.Your name has surfaced, particularly among the MAGA faithful, as a possible vice presidential choice. Who should Donald Trump pick as his running mate?

“As I wrote last year, my vision of the ideal Trump VP is an individual loyal to the man without sycophancy, loyal to the Trump agenda, excellent with the media, and a master of the policy process within the White House. Mike Pence wound up touching only one of those four bases (media). While I check every box, I’m not going to be on any long or short list. My dark horse is former Congressman Sean Duffy — and his wife Rachel would make a heck of a Second Lady. It would be interesting to see Senator Rick Scott in the conversation as well, but if he has a real shot at Senate Majority Leader — we’ll win back the Senate in 2024 — he would be more important there moving the Trump agenda.”

In addition to providing Dr. Navarro’s response above, I would also like to give voice to fellow supporters, as I promised my petition would do.

The following are some of the comments from petition signers, including their names, cities, and states….”

  19. “Corporate surveillance is a privacy nightmare…

The study found that Amazon’s Alexa app collects 28 out of 32 possible data points, more than three times the average for smart home devices. All collected data is linked to individual user profiles, including precise location, contact information, and health-related data.

Google’s smart home devices collect 22 out of 32 data points, also well above average. Notable data points include address, location, photos, videos, audio data, and browsing history.

This corporate surveillance should come as no surprise. More data = better targeted ads = more sales = more revenue for shareholders. No smart devices for my home ;)”

  20. EXCERPT: “Chemicals released during the East Palestine train wreck fires in February 2023 in Ohio were carried across 16 US states, new research of federal precipitation and pollution data shows.

Analysis of rain and snow samples collected from northern Wisconsin to Maine and North Carolina in the weeks following the crash found the highest levels of pH and some compounds recorded over the last 10 years. That includes chloride, which researchers say was largely released during a controversial controlled burn of highly toxic vinyl chloride carried by the train.

Researchers expected to find some evidence of the burn 50 miles from the site, and the high levels of contamination in the samples across the vast range that it was spread was “very surprising”, said David Gay, a University of Wisconsin researcher and lead author….”

  21. National Pulse: “Make Europe Great Again! – Orban’s Hungary Deploys ‘MEGA’ Slogan for EU Presidency”

ENTIRE ARTICLE: “Viktor Orban’s Hungary is taking over the rotating presidency of the Council of the European Union (EU) under the slogan ‘Make Europe Great Again.’ Orban is a longtime ally of Donald Trump, who repopularized the ‘Make America Great Again’ slogan first used by Ronald Reagan and a thorn in the side of the EU establishment.

“It is a reference to an active presidency,” said János Bóka, Orban’s Minister for European Affairs. “We are taking over in a very difficult environment: a war in our neighborhood, the threat of falling behind our global competitors, security concerns, illegal migration, natural disasters, climate change, and demographic challenges.”

Currently in his fourth consecutive term, Orban favors supplying neighboring Ukraine with humanitarian aid rather than weapons, strong borders, and supporting native family formation over mass migration, putting him at odds with most EU leaders. The European Commission, the bloc’s unelected executive, is currently imposing heavy fines on the Hungarian government for refusing to take illegal immigrants.

However, the European Parliament elections have strengthened the Central European country’s position in the EU, with national conservatives and populists placing first or second in many major EU member states, including France, Germany, and Italy.

If Trump regains the White House, Orban will have an ally in the U.S., unlike the actively hostile Joe Biden. The America First leader regularly quotes Orban as saying a second Trump administration would mean far fewer global conflicts.”

  22. “Putin’s Symbolic Tour”

    CLANDESTINE, JUN 20, 2024

“Putin’s tour from North Korea to Vietnam, might be more significant than it appears. Both North Korea and Vietnam are nations that used to be CIA hotbeds, and two main areas of conflict during the Cold War. Putin just signed strategic agreements with both of them, and appears to be having a blast with Kim Jong Un.

I think it’s a symbolic display of CIA strings being cut and Western influence being rooted out, similar to Trump’s world tour in 2017 and his visit to North Korea in 2019.

Something about it looks so familiar….”

  23. “Trans Murder Manhunt: The story the media doesn’t want you to know about.”

LIBS OF TIKTOK, JUN 20, 2024

ENTIRE ARTICLE: “If you can count on the mainstream media for one thing, it’s that they will do their best to cover up stories they don’t want the American people to hear.
One such case is the recent story of Mia Bailey, or more accurately, Collin Bailey, a man pretending to be a woman who was just arrested for murdering 2 people in Utah.

    Image

The murders then sparked a large-scale manhunt. Washington City Police released a statement confirming Bailey’s status as transgender and a shelter-in-place was subsequently issued for the surrounding areas.

    Image

However, in a social media post by the St. George Police Department, Bailey was referred to not as a man, but as a woman, which was sure to cause public confusion given the previously released statements made by other departments.

    Image

Police eventually tracked down Bailey to a local neighborhood where they apprehended him.

During his surrender to law enforcement, it was discovered that the two individuals murdered by Bailey were actually his own parents, Gail and Joseph Bailey. Bailey reportedly told police that he “hated” his parents and expressed no remorse for killing them saying he “would do it again.”

Additionally, it was discovered that after killing his parents, Bailey also attempted to kill his brother by firing a shot through his brother’s bedroom door. Though Bailey said his brother was not the main target, he also admitted that he would not have been upset if he was killed.

The mainstream media won’t cover this story. Those who do lie and call Bailey a woman. There is an epidemic of transgender violence growing throughout the country. It’s more important than ever to bring these stories to light. The more the media suppresses the truth, the harder we must fight to expose it.”
