Goldadors

Our daughter and her family recently got a puppy to replace the hole in the family left by the death of their beloved dog Jamison. Jamison was a rescue dog—a Boxador—a large lovable sweetheart of a dog.  Their new puppy is also a rescue but a breed I hadn’t heard of before—a Goldador—a Golden Retriever and Labrador mix.  I wanted to find out more about this breed and searched PETGUIDE.COM.

From PETGUIDE:

It’s always difficult to decide which breed of dog to bring home. There are too many amazing pooches out there to choose from and every single one of them has amazing qualities. In particular, many people find themselves torn between the equally beloved Golden Retriever and Labrador Retriever. If you find yourself facing this impossible choice, you should know that there is another option. Why not have the best of both worlds and get yourself a Goldador?!

Also known as Golden Labradors, the Goldador is a hybrid of two of the most popular dogs in North America. A wonderful family pet, an amazing service dog (they’re even used as bomb sniffing dogs) and a superb hunting companion, sometimes we wonder if there’s anything the Goldador can’t do well. Known for its trainability and willingness to please, this designer breed is a breeze to train, as he just wants to make you happy. Having a Goldador in your home guarantees constant smiles.

The Golden Retriever and Lab mix is a large, athletic dog that will do best living in a house with a big backyard. However, with enough exercise, they can adapt to apartments as well. These dogs can be happy just about anywhere. Their versatility and easy-going attitude are just some of the many things people love them for!

Ideal for a wide range of families and lifestyles, this hard-working dog would be a joy to any household. Whether they are playing, working, or relaxing, your Goldador’s favorite place will be by your side. Their affectionate behavior and loyalty to owners is truly something special: the Goldador is the living embodiment of the phrase ‘man’s best friend’. While their many impressive qualities make these mixed breed dogs a popular choice for pet owners, they might not be the best match for everyone. There’s only one way to be certain that this is right dog for you. Keep your eyes glued to this page and read on to learn everything that there is to know about the Goldador and find out if you’ll be bringing this adorable doggo home anytime soon.

Also known as Golden Labradors, the Goldador is a hybrid of two of the most popular dogs in North America.

First introduced as a designer dog over a decade ago, the Goldador was bred for the purpose of creating a sensitive and tolerant working dog. To say that breeding was a success would be an understatement. This dog is now used as guide and assistance dogs, search and rescue dogs, therapy dogs, and police and bomb-sniffing dogs. They can be trained to do just about anything! However, beyond the breed’s many day jobs, the Goldador has proved itself to be a loyal and loving companion as well. These pups are valuable to both families and hunters alike. while it’s not as popular has other hybrid breeds, there’s no doubt that once the word gets out on the Goldador, more people will appreciate its fine qualities. It’s only a matter of time before this extraordinary hybrid matches the popularity of his famous parents.

    1. Morning, Pat! Clear and sunny here – should have a few days now of summer-type weather.

To be strictly accurate, a cross between 2 different breeds of the same species is NOT a hybrid. The original meaning of a hybrid is crossing 2 different species; that began changing back in the late 1990’s when it became the “in” thing to call a cross between a wolf and a dog a “hybrid.”

This came about because of peoples’ fear of wolves and, therefore, wolf/dog crosses – many wanted them eradicated and claimed that the rabies vaccine would not work on them because wolves were a different species They are not!!! These are correctly called “cross-breeds,” not hybrids.

I did a lot of research on the issue when Loudoun Cty, VA wanted to institute a permitting system for wolf/dog crosses, which is ALWAYS a prelude to banning that particular cross, just as many places did with pit bulls. As I’ve mentioned frequently, my dog, Spirit, was such a cross-bred and if it passed in that county, they would eventually confiscate her and put her down – no doubt in my mind. A group of us went to Richmond and testified against the move – thankfully, it didn’t pass then. I have no idea what’s happened since. The local newspaper interviewed me as well and printed the story.

The dogs pictured here look just like my Shelby, who was a cross between a yellow lab and….something, not sure what exactly. I speculated possibly a pit bull because her head was broader than most labs and she was shorter that most. She was the one who was very sensitive and was ruined by some idiot who used a shock collar on her.

        1. Just please don’t call them hybrids! LOL – another case of them changing the meaning of words to suit their own purposes!

BREAKING: THEY TAMPERED WITH THE BIDEN TAPE TRANSCRIPTS! Wow.

    @JudicialWatch

’s FOIA lawsuit forced the Biden team to admit what everyone suspected – that the transcript is not accurate and was changed in a way to help Biden. There is nothing ordinary about this, and the transcript inaccuracy issues seem to help Biden’s political campaign needs. So today we initiated a new FOIA request on Biden’s Nixonian tape scandal.

And here it is, The Arizona Senate AUDIT CONFIRMS beyond the shadow of a doubt Trump is the legitimate President of the 2020 Presidential election, Katie Hobbs inserted 74, 243 MAIL IN BALLOTS in the Nov 3, 2020 election that are TIED to individuals returned and cast with NO RECORD of ever being SENT OUT. 📝U.S. Congress certified a criminal enterprise on Jan 6. Another example of why you should consider requesting a mail out ballot, even if you have no intention of using it.

Maracopa County in 2020, the audit shows 74,000 mail out ballots that came in and were counted; only problem is they were never requested or sent out.

I read that as they searched the rolls, for voters that hadn’t requested, repeat HAD NOT REQUESTED a mail out ballot, and then THEY cast one FOR them.

When/if the voter showed up on election day, they were told they had already voted, and if they insisted they hadn’t, they were given a provisional ballot.

If you request a mail ballot, when they comb the voter rolls they won’t pull up your name, because the rolls will show you already requested a mail ballot, and their search tool skips voters that have requested a ballot.

It turns out House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) had a quiet mentor who helped pull off the biggest accomplishment of his rocky seven months with the gavel — defying his right wing to pass a vital aid package for Israel and Ukraine.

John Boehner — an establishment Republican who was speaker a decade ago chronologically, but an eon ago in the GOP’s radical evolution — has become a surprising tutor to the novice, full-MAGA speaker.

  11. Goodness! Getting toasty in here – I’ll have to turn on the a/c soon – up to 84, bright sun and not much of a breeze. Michael just called – all of his cantaloupe seeds have come up; he is going to rig up a trellis using stock panels and told me about an idea he saw on-line. Once the lopes form, put them inside panty hose and attach that to the trellis, thereby taking the weight off of the vines. I may try it but probably not – those vines are really strong.

      1. They were seeds he saved from a lope I gave him last year; interesting that he also saved his in a sealed glass jar but his came up….odd – maybe it was the soil….or I didn’t dry the seeds properly.

Biden family acquaintance kept in jury pool for Hunter federal trial as others dismissed over stances on gun rights, DOJ
    https://nypost.com/2024/06/03/us-news/jury-selection-set-to-begin-in-hunter-bidens-firearm-case/

One man, juror 1, was let go because he declared that owning guns is “a God-given right” while another was dismissed after saying he believed the Department of Justice was too political.

Another woman, juror 40, said people shouldn’t be allowed to buy guns and “kill children in schools.”

“I’d ban [guns] altogether to be honest,” she added, before the judge dismissed her.

Several members of the pool of potential jurors own at least one gun, while others have relatives who have struggled with drug and alcohol addiction

Jurors 26 and 29 — both let into the pool — have concealed carry permits in more than one state.

“I believe our Second Amendment is very important,” juror 26 said.

One woman, juror 2, qualified for the pool after saying she had donated to and volunteered for the Hillary Clinton campaign in 2008, though she maintained “I don’t see any relation between politics” and this case.

Another woman, juror 3, qualified after admitting her sister was convicted a decade ago on credit card fraud and drug charges. The prospective juror said her relative was “currently clean” and insisted she could be fair.

One qualified woman, juror 5, revealed she had once worked for the Secret Service and her husband was still employed by the protective agency.

One man, juror 25, was let into the pool after he said he was “an acquaintance with the first lady” and had met Joe Biden at several events.

He added that he recently donated to the Republican National Committee and was a campaign manager for a city councilman years ago.

It wasn’t clear if the prospective panelist was aware that Jill Biden was present in court Monday.

One man, juror 33, was let into the pool despite his dad being shot and killed in 2004 and his brother serving time for narcotics possession.

“Covid Committees are Looking in the Wrong Spot”

    CLANDESTINE, JUN 03, 2024

“Is nobody going to ask Fauci about the biolabs in Ukraine?

The Russian Military claim one of the main reasons they moved into Ukraine was because of US bioweapon development.

We are in a proxy war with Russia, and on the verge of WW3, over these labs, and NOBODY brought it up?

I’ve been trying to warn the world for years that Wuhan is the cover story and the reported point of outbreak, but the epicenter of US bioweapon development was going on in Ukraine. The entire country has essentially been one giant CIA/State Dept proxy since 2014. It’s an offshore playground for criminal racketeering that is outside the scope of US oversight.

We also have confirmation that the Deep State desperately do NOT want us looking into the biolabs in Ukraine, based on the lengths they went to cover this story up and how much they panicked when it broke.

Initially, the MSM/Big Tech claimed the US-funded biolabs in Ukraine did not exist at all, and censored anyone who talked about them (a la me). Then eventually they admitted the labs existed, but claimed they were purely for defensive purposes. Why lie unless they have something to hide?

Then you add in the whole layer of Hunter Biden’s Rosemont Seneca owning biolab company Metabiota operating in Ukraine, and doing gain of function research on bat coronaviruses in Ukraine as early as 2014 via project PREDICT with USAID.

Then you add the layer of Metabiota founder and lead virologist Nathan Wolfe, being monetarily affiliated with Ghislaine Maxwell and the Clinton Foundation.

These committees are looking in the wrong spot…”
