  1. according to this article, EVERY illegal alien can appeal their deportation removal–even if they are an illegal alien criminal–and that’s most of what the backlog is in the system. maggot has increased the number of judges–but if they all can file an appeal–the backlog will never abate–all by design.

there should be a process for getting rid of cases without merit–most asylum cases are bogus–they are not persecuted but rather seek a better life–that is NOT asylum. but these cases can’t be eliminated either. more backlog. all by design.

BREAKING: Superintendent of Dewitt Public Schools in Michigan just canceled the “pronoun lesson” for elementary school students following backlash. https://t.co/6VaSSt2RFI pic.twitter.com/1XuSM9aR2D

A voluntary mini-lesson, not part of the curriculum. If it is not part of the curriculum and it is voluntary, why is it taking place on school property by school “educators”? The “educators” do not own these buildings, nor does the Superintendent. WE pay for them. It’s time to tel the School Boards that this stuff will never be tolerated, anytime, anywhere, within the walls or grounds of our schools or in our districts. There should be ZERO effort spent on this subject EVER. And if anyone is caught communicating otherwise, they are subject to immediate termination.

    Period. NEVER.

Judicial Watch: Biden Justice Dept Asks Court to Keep Secret the Names of Top Staff of Anti-Trump Special Counsel Jack Smith—Cites ‘Dearth of FOIA Public Interest’ | Judicial Watch

(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch announced today that the U.S. Department of Justice is asking a federal court to allow the agency to keep secret the names of top staffers working in Special Counsel Jack Smith’s office that is targeting former President Donald Trump and other Americans.

Judicial Watch filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit in May 2023 after the Justice Department rejected a December 9, 2022, FOIA request for ”staff rosters, phone lists, or similar records depicting all employees hired by or detailed to office of Special Counsel Jack Smith” (Judicial Watch Inc. v U.S. Department of Justice (No. 1:23-cv-01485)).

After months of delay, the Biden Justice Department finally acknowledged on April 12, 2023, that it possessed two staff rosters responsive to Judicial Watch’s request, but, citing a supposed “dearth of FOIA public interest,” was withholding the rosters under privacy and law enforcement exemptions. Judicial Watch explained in its motion that it was only seeking the names of top-level staffers – those at the GS-14 level and above – and did not seek email addresses or phone numbers.

      @ScottAdamsSays

If I correctly understand our system of government, when a president or leader in the Congress gets into office, someone in the CIA pulls them aside for “the talk” and completely changes their priorities. The public is then told the leaders now have secret knowledge the public can never know. But the leader has no way of knowing the “secret” information is true and in context. That puts the secret-keepers in firm control of the government’s big decisions. If the secret-keepers agree with a government policy, they stay out of it. If they disagree with a policy, they say the UFOs will attack — or some other unverifiable thing — and by the way, we have recordings of every phone call you ever made, and scare the leaders into compliance. Right in front of us. None of this is secret.

NIH Refuses To Release Details Of COVID-19 Vaccine Royalty Agreement
    APR 19, 2024

    https://www.zerohedge.com/political/nih-refuses-release-details-covid-19-vaccine-royalty-agreement

The U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH) is refusing to release additional information about an agreement it reached over a COVID-19 vaccine that has earned it at least $400 million.

In February 2023, Moderna announced that it had paid $400 million to the NIH and would make additional payments in the future as part of a licensing agreement for spike proteins used in the company’s COVID-19 vaccine. The Epoch Times obtained a copy of the contract, which confirmed the payment but redacted details of the future payments.

  6. EXCERPT: “However contradictory the term “squatter’s rights” may sound, it is a growing concern that’s prompted lawmakers to seek additional protections for Pennsylvania homeowners.

While squatters are technically trespassers, not all trespassers are squatters. The conflation of terms and lack of specific laws to address the latest form of squatting has led to challenges for both law enforcement and homeowners.

State Reps. Martina White, R-Philadelphia, and Donna Scheuren, R-Gilbertsville, have proposed bills to establish a clear legal framework for evicting squatters from residential properties.

Every state has Squatters Rights laws that apply to people living in abandoned or unoccupied property without permission and requiring open residency for many years to establish rights.

However, the current squatting trend – widespread in some areas – involves individuals unlawfully staying in a home regardless of occupancy status. Homeowners may struggle for months, or even years, to remove trespassers, resulting in lost rental income and bearing the financial burdens of taxes, mortgages, utilities and legal fees.

White began addressing the issue in 2019 and told The Center Square via email, that the process of improving a bill can take years. For instance, she learned it may be more effective for Sheriff’s offices to enforce the law, given their familiarity with the eviction process….”

  7. Your blog inspired me a couple of days ago to look into Moderna, but I got sidetracked yesterday, April 19, the anniversary of the famous “shot heard round the world” that started the American Revolution in 1775. So I’m still looking into more recent happenings that occurred on April 19. Did you know it was the culmination of the Branch Davidian siege in 1993, or the Oklahoma bombing in 1995, with Timothy McVeigh admitting he timed the latter expressly to avenge the federal and state agents’ assault on the Davidians’ Mt. Carmel Center ranch about 13 miles west of Waco, TX?

Moderna is interesting, too. More when I get around to it.

Pfizer to pay $0 in taxes, despite billions in income

Every year, Pfizer sends an army of lobbyists to Washington, D.C., seeking to manipulate the tax code to their benefit.

    Jordan Schachtel

It’s Tax Day, which, for most Americans, means it’s time to fork over lots of cash to the feds.

Unless you’re running Pfizer, which is paying a grand total of zero dollars and zero cents in taxes this year. In fact, Pfizer is expecting a hefty refund!

Despite bringing in $58 billion in revenue and billions in net income for 2023, Pfizer is not paying a dime in taxes. Thanks to their scale, size, and taxpayer-funded support system, Pfizer and its peers reap tax benefits that allow for the zeroing out of their tax burden. Such privileges are not afforded to Main Street businesses, highlighting an incredibly unequal tax code that benefits mega corporations at the expense of the average citizen and small businesses.

    Border bill fails on floor

‘The House failed to pass a border security measure that was largely viewed as a way to appease conservatives outraged about Johnson’s decision to move forward with a package of foreign aid.

‘The bill largely mirrored House Republicans’ flagship border bill, H.R. 2, that was passed last year. It would have drastically limited asylum, required building former President Trump’s border wall and limited pathways for legal migration.

‘Conservatives bashed the bill from the start. “That is a joke,” Rep. Bob Good (R-Va.), the chair of the House Freedom Caucus, told reporters immediately after its release. “That’s pretend. That’s theater. That’s noise.”

‘The final vote was 215-199, short of the two-thirds majority needed to pass the bill under a suspension of the rules.’

It’s great day for Speaker Jeffries and his deputy whip, Mitt Johnson, who helped rally the Democratic votes to defeat border security.

We’re proud of you, Mitt! /sarc

Bongino interviewed Johnson. https://bongino.com/dan-bongino-grills-speaker-johnson-on-unconstitutional-fisa-reauthorization . Bongino stated that warrentless searches are unconstitutional. From the article:

Johnson responded with a lengthy explanation, essentially arguing that obtaining a warrant takes too long when intelligence agents are attempting to quickly thwart potential acts of terrorism. “You know how it works to get a warrant,” said Johnson. “It takes a long time. You’ve gotta put on a probable cause hearing.”
“Mr. Speaker, it really doesn’t,” said Bongino. “I’m sorry, but it doesn’t. You can get a phone warrant like that in an emergency circumstance… It can happen in minutes. There’s a magistrate on duty for that.”

  11. Just The News: “The House voted on Saturday to pass three foreign aid bills that will provide funding to Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan, sending the full $95 billion foreign aid package to the Senate to vote on.

The House voted 385-34 to give $8.1 billion in aid for Taiwan and the Indo-Pacific region, with Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., voting present. More Democrats supported the measure than Republicans.

The Ukraine Security Supplemental Appropriations Act was passed 311-112 with one member voting present. The bill contains $61 billion for Ukraine and other regional partners. Democrats cheered after it was passed, according to CNN. The House passed the Israel Security Supplemental with a vote of 366-58, which contains $26.4 billion to aid Israel.

Some of House Speaker Mike Johnson’s GOP colleagues have threatened to oust him as speaker if he moved forward with Ukraine aid. Congressman Thomas Massie, R-Ky., prior to the vote accused Johnson of “colluding” with Democrats and prioritizing foreign aid over the U.S. southern border.

“To send $100 billion overseas without reinforcing our own borders shows that we put America last,” Massie told reporters, according to The Washington Post

Both Massie and Rep. Paul Gosar, R-Ariz., have cosponsored Georgia GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s motion to vacate the Speaker, while Democrats including Tom Suozzi of New York and Jared Moskowitz of Florida have pledged to save Johnson if that attempt to oust him arrives, according to the New York Post

Congressman Andrew Clyde, R-Ga., on Thursday called the foreign aid package that funds the Ukraine war “America Last.”
