Delaware State Flower: Peach Blossom

Delaware was the original “Peach State,” because of its orchards; they contained more than 800,000 peach trees, yielding a crop worth thousands at the time!

In 1875, Peach Blossoms could be seen across the gorgeous shoreline of Delaware’s coast. Unfortunately, the peach farmers faced many problems throughout the latter part of the 19th century. The peach disease called “the yellows” forced the untimely collapse of the booming agricultural industry and, in the early 1900s, many peach farmers faced bankruptcy. Today there are very few Peach Blossoms in Delaware, even though the U.S. still emerges as the leading peach grower in the world.

Peach Blossoms bloom as a solitary or paired flower. The Blossom itself is 2.5 to 3 centimeters in diameter and has no more than five petals. They are light pink to light purple in color. The Peach Blossom appears, of course, before the Peach leaves. Quite delicate, the pink Peach Blossoms may be large and showy, but other times are quite small. Peach Blossom trees grow 15-25 feet high and the slender leaves have toothed edges. The regular Peach Blossom tree bears fruit at 3 to 4 years old and reaches its peak after about 12 years.

    1. Morning, Pat! All is well here – blew right past me – except my heat won’t come on….it’s still 71 inside, could be the wind caused that, I guess. I’ll wait a bit and try again – if it doesn’t come on, a service call will be in order. Temp outside here is 58 at the moment and the wind has gone – still cloudy but calm, thankfully. Wheezer was on the chair and has eaten his breakfast and is gone already.

I was hoping you were okay!
we were looking out at the surrounding woods yesterday afternoon and mapping out all the trees downed by the winds this year that we might be able to harvest for firewood this summer–there’s a lot! but same may be beyond our tractor reach

And so many of you wondered why out of all the people that John Durham could have gone after to prosecute, why he chose the slimy Democrat lawyer Michael Sussman. Now you know why all of this started and went the way that it went. John Durham got documents and evidence on record in that court case that could be cited later on as part of official court record.

Essentially Durham created the doorway to force the CIA and the FBI to cooperate and supply information they would rather not share. They have information and evidence that demonstrates that Hillary Clinton, Obama, and the US intelligence agencies (including the CIA and the FBI), broke the law repeatedly in their illegal spying operation against Trump. Then during their attempted coup d’etat with the Democrats, big tech, social media and the fake news, the US Intel agencies continued to spy on a sitting United States president and considered to unseat him from his duly elected position.

The John Durham case articulated that a federal lawyer Michael Sussman was involved. Durham provided the evidence that Sussman altered official court documents to benefit not only Hillary Clinton, but also to benefit the treasonous Intel agencies inside the United States. Without Durham’s case, moving forward against anybody at this point would be impossible. Remember when Q asked, “how do you present evidence”? Durham filed an absolutely massive report with this case that covered every single aspect, player and crime in spy gate, crossfire hurricane, FISAgate, etc. It was completely uncalled for and far more entailed than it needed to be. But that’s the key here, Durham wasn’t prosecuting this case solely for the opportunity to try to convict Michael Sussman for his crimes. He was using the case as a legal vehicle of putting documented evidence of US attorney and special council investigations into official court record. once they are on official court record, they cancould be called upon at later times, and cited as official court record that can be used to warrant further action in the future.

John Durham is a freaking genius and several of us saw what he was trying to do. A lot of people lost hope and couldn’t see what was truly happening. I’m grateful to have been comforted this whole time and knowing exactly what John Durham was doing by setting up legal precedent and documented evidence and information that could be called upon in future times to articulate search warrants and arrest warrants and to validate further investigations.

I’ve quietly observed, and this is my take: Congress wasted no time in capitalizing on the situation. They immediately tried to weaponize the public’s emotion (fear) to advance their agenda of reinvigorating public support for the war machine. Our tax dollars should NOT be spent on any of these conflicts for any reason. Our tax dollars should ONLY be spent on the actual interests of the American People. We have a border that needs securing. We have corruption that needs eradicating. Our society is failing. We have PLENTY of our own problems. Yet TRILLIONS of our tax dollars have been sent to fund these wars around the globe, that have absolutely nothing to do with us, and do not benefit us in any way. We are being stolen from on the largest scale imaginable. Our labor is used to fund nearly all conflict and war around the globe, while our once great nation continues to deteriorate, and our quality of life continues to plummet. We are slaves. Our politicians are so eager to fund WW3, but cannot be bothered to fund anything that benefits their constituents. Until this mindset changes, the world will continue to fail, and full-scale global war will be our fate.

    Wow.

Remember that guy in Little Rock that got killed when the ATF raided his house?

Cummings contends that he’s seen nothing to indicate the agents announced themselves before breaking through Malinowski’s front door. The airport executive, who was armed, was shot and killed by agents, one of whom was also wounded in the foot during the raid. The attorney recently released doorbell camera video showing one of the agents covering the camera with tape just before the front door was breached, but so far we’ve seen nothing released by either Cummings or the local law enforcement agency investigating the raid that shows the agents announcing their presence before entering the home.

Lawful LEO would have no reason to tape over a doorbell cam before breaking down a door. Instead, they should have been waving badges and warrants, and wearing bodycams of their own.

If the ATF is going to act like home invasion thugs, they should anticipate being treated as home invasion thugs. That little piece of duct tape would go a long way toward convincing me of self-defense if he’d killed them all.

  7. “Small US Businesses to be Forced to Serve as NSA Spies — Call your Senators now and tell them to block the “Everyone is a spy” surveillance bill”

    GREG REESE, APR 16, 2024

    (VIDEO)

    Transcript

EXCERPT: “Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act was enacted to make it easier for the government to address foreign terrorist threats. Targeting Americans is prohibited but intelligence agencies have used Section 702 to spy on hundreds of thousands of Americans every year. And this week it’s looking to get a lot worse.

Elizabeth Goitein of the Liberty and National Security Program at the Brennan Center for Justice, does a great job of explaining it and sounding the alarm.

Buried in the Section 702 re-authorization bill passed by the House on Friday is the biggest expansion of domestic surveillance since the Patriot Act.

Under current law, the government can compel “electronic communications service providers” that have direct access to communications to assist the NSA in conducting Section 702 surveillance. Companies like Verizon and Google must turn over the communications of targets, which officially must be foreigners overseas, but this has been abused to spy on Americans.

By changing the definition of “electronic communications surveillance provider,” an amendment offered by House intel committee leaders and passed by the House vastly expands the universe of entities that can be compelled to assist the NSA….”

It seems the real Constitution oriented attorneys back the claim that this is clearly election interference, regardless of their own political leaning.

“Alan Dershowitz Reveals One Motion He Believes Trump’s Lawyers Must File Immediately”

Excerpts:Noted attorney Alan Dershowitz said Monday that attorneys for former President Donald Trump should file a motion to allow Trump to periodically skip court dates during his Manhattan trial.

“I would hope Trump’s lawyers bring a mandamus right now, at the very least, let Trump out of the courtroom, let him campaign,” Dershowitz told Fox Business host Larry Kudlow. “If he makes a decision that he would like to waive the right to be there, there is nothing in the Constitution which gives the prosecution the right to keep him there. It is only a defendant’s right.”

If the defendant chooses to leave the court, whether to go to his son’s graduation from school which apparently the judge didn’t grant or campaign in Pennsylvania, he has the right to do that,” Dershowitz continued. “That is a constitutional case that should be brought immediately.”

Dershowitz earlier tore into the trial, which began Monday with jury selection, labeling it “direct election interference” on the part of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg.

BREAKING: Soros-Funded DA Alvin Bragg Files Motion to Hold Trump in Contempt for Allegedly Violating ‘Gag Order’

    https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2024/04/breaking-soros-funded-alvin-bragg-files-motion-hold/

“At the heart of this legal skirmish is the accusation that Trump, allegedly defying the court’s gag order, launched several social media attacks against key witnesses, including his former lawyer, Michael Cohen, and adult film actress Stormy Daniels.”

“Earlier this month, Trump threw down the gauntlet and blasted Judge Merchan in a series of Truth Social posts.”

“President Trump said he will continue to tell the truth and “gladly become a Modern Day Nelson Mandela” and is willing to “sacrifice my Freedom for that worthy cause.””

DJT wont give up, so lets see how the marxists play this out. The ball is now in their court.

  11. “White House Calls In Elmo To Help Explain Latest Global Conflict To President”

    POLITICS · Apr 15, 2024 · BabylonBee.com

    Article Image

WASHINGTON, DC — In an effort to educate President Biden on the details of the latest global conflict, Whitehouse staff called in beloved muppet and vaccine advocate Elmo to help break things down and explain things in terms the President would understand.

“Hello, Mr. Biden sir!” Elmo explained enthusiastically while standing in front of a large crayon diagram of Iranian missile launch sites. “Elmo is so excited to teach you about the turmoil in the Middle East! Ha ha ha! Today, we’re going to learn about the letter “H”! Do you know what starts with “H”? Hezbollah! Good, Mr. President!”

President Biden was seen nodding along energetically to the red muppet’s presentation. At times, he would doze off and a member of his team would gently poke him and offer him a little snack to keep him awake. Staffers invited Elmo to visit the President in the Situation Room after traditional attempts to explain the Iranian missile strikes into Israel failed.

“Let’s work on our numbers! Elmo loves the number six. Iran now has six billion dollars! Can you count to six? Close enough!”

Elmo spent over seven hours with the President and worked on colors, numbers, shapes, international law, rules of engagement, foreign diplomacy, and animal sounds. Elmo got stuck at one point trying to explain that the West Bank is actually on the east side of Israel.

As of publishing time, the President’s team announced he had mastered the letter “I” for Iranian-backed terrorism and was able to count up to “3” for WWIII.”

  14. Just The News: “A federal appeals court on Tuesday overturned a West Virginia law that banned transgender girls from playing on girls’ sports teams. In a 2-1 ruling, the court ruled that the law violated Title IX, which prohibits gender discrimination in schools, according to The Associated Press.

The court also stated that the rule could not be applicable to 13-year-old Becky Pepper Jackson, who has been taking puberty-blocking medication and publicly identified as a girl since elementary school. If the law was enforced, Pepper Jackson would have been kicked off the middle school track team due her being transgender.

The American Civil Liberties Union filed a lawsuit on behalf of Pepper Jackson after GOP Gov. Jim Justice signed the transgender ban into law in 2021.

“This is a tremendous victory for our client, transgender West Virginians, and the freedom of all youth to play as who they are,” ACLU West Virginia attorney Joshua Block said in response to the ruling. West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey however said he was disappointed in the decision.”

  15. Huh…now there’s a thought….zip ties! Take some with you on your way to the airport, hospital, etc., etc.

“So around the country (except in Florida, apparently), ‘protestors’ were allowed to interfere with the travel of thousands of people.  Cops either stood around or were actively engaged in protecting the miscreants from angry travelers. In Chicago, they blocked the way to O’Hare airport.  People left their cars behind and hoofed it trying not to miss their flights.

My question is why are they allowed to get away with these actions?  In Florida, they arrested their happy asses.

I’m of the mind that folks should start carrying zip ties in their cars so they can drag these morons off the road and secure them to something  or make it so they can’t get back into the road.”
