      1. She’s precious. We got to visit for a bit the other day. Our son took the week off of work to help his wife. Their oldest was getting over a cold & being Very Clingy w/ mom. They are learning to juggle 2 now ❤

Hope you are having a love-filled, joyful Easter!

          1. Happy Dance for you all. We had our family gathering last Sunday because our firefighter son is working a 24 hour shift today. That was just a couple days before granddaughter #3 was born. We were blessed to see D, SIL, & GD#2 at church today! ❤

  1. Morning All!
the kids just left. they were supposed to leave after lunch, but apparently one of their goats went into labor and SIL’s father had to call the vet and it was a whole big thing, so they packed early to leave.
    Happy Easter Everyone!

  3. “The Post reported that our little Mary cousins to the north in Niagara Falls, Canada, have declared a state of emergency ahead of the April 8 total eclipse as 1 million people are expected to flood the area. The Ontario side of the falls has started to prepare for the expected influx in visitors coming to see the total social eclipse in early April.

The city is within the path where the moon will entirely block the sun for a few minutes. Mayor Jim Diodati estimated the city would see the most visitors in a single day on April 8 with an estimated 1 million expected. On average, the city see 14 million visit per year. The state of emergency, which was announced Thursday, will allow the city to execute additional planning to help prepare for traffic jams, cell phone network overloads, and a higher need for emergency services, and more.”

      1. I just can’t figure out how that would work -you would think the colors would all run together when actually putting it on the wall….

          1. No, I really don’t understand how it would go on the wall looking the same? Why don’t the colors bleed together? Or maybe this is just a joke that I don’t get, which is entirely possible with me!

  5. so there were quite a few shoppers yesterday at the malls and surrounding stores…what surprised me? the number of young (teenage) CHINESE boys at the mall. they were speaking English and seemed like other teens–just shocked to see soooooo many all of a sudden.

we went to the Texas Roadhouse for lunch–granddaughter and i had steaks and hubby had shrimp. (it’s driving my daughter crazy that GD and I have soo much in common…lol)

the mall itself was dying but the mall owners are trying to survive any way they can. the JCPenney store is now a boat/trailer storage place. Macy’s is now a Planet Fitness and Sears is a gigantic bouncy-house/arcade for younger kids.

  6. Part 2 of Our Day at the Mall…lol

we went into a bunch of stores and Grandpa and I tried to find things we thought our GD would like…LOL

OMG…she is pickier than her mom—and I thought was impossible. so then we just tried to have fun…she needed new sunglasses–so we tried on some right alongside her and the more ridiculous the better…we had her in stitches.

*From what I’ve read, I believe hundreds of military bases have been closed in the United States.

*If the barracks are good enough for our service members to live in – then they are damn well good enough for the ILLEGAL ALIENS who have invaded our country seeking asylum.

*Its a lot cheaper than putting them up in 5-star hotels throughout the country.

*All bases have “mess halls” so open them up; provide the SAME FOOD in bulk that our service members are required to eat……and let the ILLEGALS cook their own meals.

*No need to provide them with luxuries like computers, sports facilities, libraries, etc.

*If they don’t like it – LET THEM GO BACK HOME .

*They shouldn’t be in them too long – just long enough to enable them to assimilate into OUR society.

*We’re not obligated to let them dictate how we AMERICANS are supposed to live.

  8. I am adding a short daily prayer to the board. I would invite each of you, if you wish, to also add one or maybe two of your own liking. I do not want to stifle anyone but please limit yourself to one or two religious postings. here’s one I found that I liked.
