  1. Good morning, Miss Pat!

It’s a rainy weekend way down here – Temp 63º at 7:03 am. Clear Sunday – high 72 – low Monday AM 48º Spring 🌸 🌼 has sprung!

Monday, I’m taking Sally and her Dad to the dentist. We have to leave early and be there an hour and a half away by 10AM. Then I’m driving home to spend a couple of nights, get the driveway washed, do some yard work, gather papers to get taxes done the next week.

Today I’m sewing for the lift – making pads and a safety harness for the lift to hopefully eliminate falls and maximize comfort. Also designing more comfortable no-slip leg supports.

The hardest part will be the adjustable quick release straps for the leg supports. I’ve been scouring Amazon – looking for appropriate hardware. I have heavy duty welded D rings, carabiners, etc., but may need different ones, perhaps S carabiners.

How are things in the PA 🌳🐻🦌🎄 Northwoods?

      1. i dunno why some don’t. there’s a site that has memes on Saturday==powerline. and i used to be able to just bring them here like other…but they changed something and now if I want to bring them i have to save them first and then load them into a free image site–like imgur. it’s a pain, but it usually works–but only if the image is a jpeg–if it’s a screenshot imgur won’t do it….

        weird…

Judge Tosses Challenge, Upholds Law Allowing ‘Noncitizens’ To Vote In DC

    https://www.zerohedge.com/political/judge-tosses-challenge-upholds-law-allowing-noncitizens-vote-dc

Judge Amy Berman Jackson, an appointee of President Barack Obama, found that a group of seven citizen plaintiffs lacked standing to challenge the legislation.

They argued that “noncitizens” do not have a fundamental right to vote in the United States and that allowing them to cast ballots and hold office in the District of Columbia dilutes the votes of U.S. citizens.

    No Standing
However, in an opinion issued Thursday, Judge Jackson determined that the seven plaintiffs failed to demonstrate “that they have personally been subjected to any sort of disadvantage as individual voters by virtue of the fact that noncitizens are permitted to vote, too.”

Americans have become 2nd class citizens in their own country……and don’t expect an impeachment either.

    1. CO2 feeds the trees and plants that produce our live giving O2 – OXYGEN!

CONGRESS IS DISHONEST, DEPRAVED, DESPICABLE, CORRUPT!!!!

      1. 5th graders (with decent teachers) know CO2 – CARBON DIOXIDE is needed by trees and plants – which in turn produce O2 – OXYGEN – absolutely necessary for sustaining life.

Congress, the UN, and even the Pope pretend not to know this – in order to perpetuate their creepy climate hoax and gain control of people, power, money and resources.

  6. Good morning! Down to 23 this morning, with snow on the horizon and possible high winds – feeders may have to come down. But at least it shouldn’t be a lot here and will go away quickly since we should be back up in the 60’s later in the week. I actually had 2 days of peace from Jake’s constant nagging for attention after shutting him in the bedroom consistently for a while. Now he’s back at it and is once again shut in the bedroom. Sheesh! Just because he wants me to come and WATCH him eat!!! I guess a lunatic cat is just the right match for me! No sign of Wheezer yesterday.

  7. For anyone posting pics: with some pics/memes, I can just click on “copy image address” and paste it here and it will open. If that doesn’t work, most of them will post, even w/o a jpg, jpeg, or png at the end, by using the + sign on the right, selecting “image” and pasting the url in the block provided. If you want to post a gif, you must do it that way, again using the “image” link. Make sure your cursor is INSIDE that box when you paste it or it won’t work.

  8. Just The News: “The death toll from a terrorist attack at a Moscow concert hall soared past 100 on Saturday as Russian authorities arrested 11 people in a deadly plot that ISIS claimed responsibility for.

Fires still burned at the Crocus City Hall and the complex’s roof partially collapsed hours after gunman opened fire and unleashed explosives inside the crowded venue.

U.S. intelligence reportedly warned Moscow of an impending threat, and Russian authorities confirmed the attack had been carefully planned.

Officials said the death toll stood at 115, and more than 150 people were wounded. “Intelligence agencies have detained 11 people, including four terrorists, who were directly involved in an attack on the Crocus City Hall,” Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) said in a statement.

“It has already been established that the terrorist attack was carefully planned. The weapons that the terrorists used had been placed in a cache in advance,” the FSB added.

In a Telegram post to its channel, the terrorist organization ISIS claimed its personnel had “attacked a large gathering… on the outskirts of the Russian capital Moscow,” according to the Moscow Times.

The Islamic State initially rose to prominence in Iraq and Syria, though it has long since branched out beyond those nations and at least one branch is known to operate in Afghanistan. The motivation behind the Islamic State attack remains unclear and there is no evident connection to the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine as of press time.

Russia previously struggled with Islamic secessionists in the northern Caucuses throughout the 1990s and terrorist activity persisted into the 2000s after the Russians reoccupied Chechnya. Current Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov, however, is a staunch supporter of Russian President Vladimir Putin.”

According to key points from President Putin’s speech today:

“All four direct perpetrators of the terrorist attack have been located and detained. They attempted to hide on Ukrainian territory, taking advantage of an open border window.

A total of 11 people have been detained. Intelligence agencies are working to identify accomplices to the terrorists. All perpetrators and those who ordered the crime will face deserved punishment, regardless of their identity.”

  10. “Planet Fitness Rated ‘Best Gym In America’ By The National Association Of Perverts”

    U.S. · Mar 22, 2024 · BabylonBee.com

    Article Image

LOS ANGELES, CA — The National Association Of Perverts (NAP) Rated Planet Fitness ‘The Best Gym In America’ after learning this week the workout chain giant allows men to use the women’s locker rooms whenever they want.

“We couldn’t be happier to learn that our members will have access to women’s changing rooms all over the country,” NAP Spokesperson Lester Johnson told reporters. “For years, we perverts have been forced to peep through closed doors and leer around corners. Thankfully, with the rise of the transgender movement, we can now move freely through the women’s locker room and stare all we want and if you call us out, we’ll get Planet Fitness to revoke your membership! It’s amazing!”

After a woman photographed a man shaving in the sink in a women’s locker room in Alaska, Planet Fitness doubled down on its policy to allow men who think they’re women to use women’s spaces in their gyms, a move heralded by sickos, perverts, creeps and weirdos throughout the country.

“I thought the day would never come when our types would get the access to private women’s spaces we deserve,” avowed pervert and serial flasher Al Hester said. “I’ve been sneaking around locker rooms for years. I’m so happy to hear I can just put on a dress, say I’m a woman, and ogle all the ladies I want at one of Planet Fitness’s hundreds of gyms throughout the country!”

At publishing time, Planet Fitness announced it will also be allowing men in dresses to slap female gym-goers in the rear while they workout as long as they say “Hey fellow woman, looking good!” beforehand.”

  11. “A Heavy Price to be Paid”

    CLANDESTINE, MAR 23, 2024

“Russia has detained the terrorists. They are singing like canaries. They claim they were recruited on Telegram to commit the attack in exchange for money.

Putin himself claims that Ukraine tried to assist the terrorists into Ukraine after the attack.

It’s clear some organized entity used patsies as proxy to carry out the attack. Textbook CIA behavior. Combined with Ukraine trying to assist the terrorist in their escape… the evidence would strongly suggest this attack was organized by Western Intelligence.

Whether that be Ukraine, CIA, MI6, Mossad, or some other Western entity, they all serve the same globalist masters, and share the same goal of defeating Russia by any means necessary.

Regardless of what the truth is, Putin is going to have a response. He claims Ukraine, and all those who assisted, will pay a heavy price.”
