The bighorn sheep’s compact body is muscular, with chocolate brown fur trimmed in white on the muzzle, rump, and belly. Most weigh 160 to 250 pounds, but males may weigh more than 350 pounds and stand around 40 inches at the shoulder. Their wide-set eyes are situated well forward on the head, providing a wide arc of exceptional vision. The bighorn sheep’s keen eyesight, hearing, and sense of smell help it detect and avoid predators.
The bighorn sheep is one of two species of wild sheep in North America with large horns, the other being the Dall sheep (Ovis dalli). The latest science shows that “bighorn sheep” is one species, with three living subspecies: the Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep (Ovis canadensis canadensis), the Sierra Nevada bighorn sheep (Ovis canadensis sierrae)—formerly called the California bighorn sheep, and the desert bighorn sheep (Ovis canadensis nelsoni).
Large, curved horns—borne by the males, or rams—can weigh up to 30 pounds, as much as the rest of the bones in the male’s body. Older rams have massive horns that can grow over three feet long with a more than one-foot circumference at the base. Females, or ewes, also have horns, but they are short with only a slight curvature. Both rams and ewes use their horns as tools for eating and fighting.

Although not as agile as mountain goats, bighorn sheep are well-equipped for climbing the steep terrain that keeps their predators at bay. The outer hooves are modified toenails shaped to snag any slight protrusion, while a soft inner pad provides a grip that conforms to each variable surface.
Diet
In warmer months, bighorn sheep browses on grasses, clover, and sedges. It transitions to eating woody plants like willow and sage in colder months. In desert areas, bighorn sheep often eat plants such as holly and cacti.
As ruminants, grass-eating bighorn sheep have a complex four-part stomach that enables them to eat large portions rapidly before retreating to cliffs or ledges where they can thoroughly rechew and digest their food, safe from predators. Then bacteria takes over, breaking down plant fibers for digestion. The sheep also absorb moisture during this digestive process, enabling them to go for long periods without water.
Behavior
Mature males spend most of their year in bachelor flocks apart from groups of females and young sheep. Young females generally remain in their mother’s group (led by an older ewe) for life. All ewes are subordinate to even young rams with bigger horns.
Males depart their mother’s group around two to four years of age and join a group of rams. This is sometimes a tough time of wandering until the young rams find a male group, and they will sometimes take up with other species out of loneliness.

Life History
It is during the mating season or “rut” that the rams join the female groups and engage in fierce competition to establish access rights to ewes. Their dominance hierarchy is based on age and size (including horn size), which usually prevents rams younger than seven years old from mating. Younger males will mate sooner if dominant rams in their group are killed.
Mating competition involves two rams running toward one another at speeds around 40 miles an hour and clashing their curled horns, which produces a sound that can be heard a mile away. Most of the characteristic horn-clashing between rams occurs during the pre-rut period, although this behavior may occur to a limited extent throughout the year.

Longevity depends on population status. In declining or stable populations, most sheep live more than 10 years. Even in areas where no hunting occurs, females rarely make it past 15 and males rarely live beyond 12. Juvenile mortality is variable and can be quite high, ranging from 5 percent to 30 percent. Sheep between two and six years old have low mortality.
Fun Fact
Bighorn sheep groups protect themselves from predators by facing different directions, allowing them to keep watch on their surroundings.

Big Horn sheep are majestic creatures!
The babies are adorable…

The first part is quoting China Joe, who is taking credit for everything. That’s Joe’s speechwriters talking, not Trump.
This is all deep in the weeds of the COVID ATTACK on humanity, to which there were no clean solutions.
Trump is again emphasizing (and I agree) that Operation Warp Speed was a good idea, no matter what. IMO, we would have never made visible the “Depopulation Plot” without it. OWS was Trump giving Fauci and Bourla rope and letting them run with the bait.
If things had taken longer, humanity would not have discerned that the vaccines were meant to control population.

I skipped thru the SOTU….each time I stopped to listen, it was no better so….and no, I didn’t follow Trump on TS – I uninstalled it from my computer. No more social media for me, period. I did watch the Tucker show except, as I think I already said, that he spent far too much time with Alex Jones. Alex went into this long speech about how he used to lie all the time but is now always honest, no matter what. I was thinking as I listened, no, absolute honesty is not always the best policy and no, I do NOT believe he is now “always honest!” Ha! That’s a laugh! TBH, I was kind of disappointed with the whole thing.
For example….suppose an acquaintance came up to me and said, “Look at my new dress! Isn’t it just perfect?” In reality, no, it looks like shit – am I going to tell her that? Of course not! There is no reason to be purposefully hurtful over something that is so inconsequential. Instead, I would find something else to say w/o actually lying, such as “You know, that color is beautiful on you but maybe you should go with such-and-such style to take advantage of your height?” Or vice versa….something that is quasi-truthful w/o hurting her unnecessarily.

MTG waylaid him as he was going around the room greeting everyone and gave him a button with Laken’s name on it. No doubt the staff warned him to be prepared, that she was sure to shout out something about it.
When she did, you could almost see the gears moving in his brain…”there – they told me this would happen” and he almost gleefully reaches for the button, then holds it up with that clownlike evil look on his face, again, almost gleeful that he thinks he can upstage her. Then in his fuddled brain he says the part about him being an “illegal” out loud, not intending to. You can then see him pulling himself together to get back to his rehearsed speech.
At least, that’s my take, for what it’s worth.

I see people blaming Trump again for the Vaccines… So I put together a video compilation of Trump statements re: The Jab LISTEN closely and read every single word in this post. VID HIGHLIGHTS:
• Booster – “I’ll wait and see, later says he won’t get it.
• “FDA is bureaucratically run. It would have taken 5+ years.
• “I learned things, the FDA is virtually controlled by Pfizer.
• Trump got Pfizer. But he also took Regeneron.
• He has natural immunity because he got Covid… Regeneron treatment.
• “I want people to have their freedoms.”
• “Very early on I took therapeutics, I SHOWED THINGS to the country; therapeutics.”
• Don’t get angry, we did it in 9 months… compared to 5-12 years…
• “I think the other side poisoned people on it.”
• “Vax Manufacturers Should Release Their Vaccine Data“
• “Vax Manufacturers are Holding Back Information. Not Good”
• “Some love the vax. Some hate the vax. I understand both sides”
• “We will not comply…. No mandates”
• “Some day we’re gonna have to sit down and have a little talk about vaccines”
2. Does everyone understand that Trump is not a doctor or a virologist?
3. How DID YOU FEEL WHEN THE PANDEMIC BEGAN?
4. How many people have you known who are/have been wearing masks, got every booster?
5. How many friends, family members, coworkers, have you tried to redpill about these jabs but didn’t work?
6. What if Hillary won?
7. Final question— imagine if Trump DID NOT become president & said he was done fighting for our country.
How does that make you feel? Who then do you blame? FULL STOP!
We are in a WAR for humanity. Trump Is a wartime president. Wartime decisions are not easy. Wartime generals have to decide which decision(s) will ensure a victory & the fewest casualties.
TRUMP DID NOT MAKE THESE VACCINES! And he damn sure did not force anyone. Stop blaming him! They wanted everything locked down for many years, until a “vaccine” could come save the day.
If Hillary won in 2016, THEY would have gotten 3 SCOTUS judges, Hundreds of federal judges. Can you not see the damn problems we would have had if she won? Never ending LOCKDOWNS that would have absolutely destroyed the middle class & would have suffered a catastrophic economic crisis. NO JUDICIAL HELP!
As much support & love Trump has, ALOT of people support vaccines. They STILL DO.
• Trump DID try to go against the narrative when the pandemic began & he was vilified. • He wanted people to have a choice on masks & jabs, but he was villified.
• He wanted life to go on & the economy to stay open, but he was villified.
• He offered HCQ & other preventive treatments, ensuring we had EMERGENCY USE AUTHORIZATION, but he was vilified.
Nothing was good enough. Americans bought into the MSM BULLSHIT narrative we needed a Vaccine to feel safe to open the economy back up. Imagine what life would be like if the economy, businesses, were STILL closed today. Many WILL NEVER accept the truth. They won’t accept it until MSM tells them so. HELL, people still walk around with masks, BY THEMSLEVES, because the MSM has people scarred to death.
Trying to speak common sense to Americans DID NOT WORK. When Trump says these “vaccines” saved countless of lives, you better fucking believe he’s not talking about the jabs.
OPERATION WARPSPEED wasn’t about a vaccine. It was about giving people the confidence to open the world back up & stop CONTRIBUTING to their own fucking demise. To avoid never ending lockdowns. To stop the collapse of America, the world. We were slow boiling Frogs. Trump simply turned up the heat & all of us Frogs jumped the fook out and we are pulling other frogs out every damn day.
Everyone had a choice. Trump sure isn’t making it for us. So Blame ourselves for being asleep. Not the man who did the best he could to give us options between a rock and a hard place.

what the hell is wrong with Indiana gop?
FTA
A bill to slightly limit foreign adversaries’ ownership of Indiana land revealed a state agency is currently planning 11 business deals with Chinese companies worth an estimated $14.4 billion. The Indiana Economic Development Corporation, however, wouldn’t release to The Federalist the names or locations of these foreign-owned ventures.
In fact, said Republican state Sen. Jean Leising in an interview with The Federalist Friday morning, state lawmakers tell her the IEDC even uses “code names” for its foreign business deals to preserve secrecy until they’re completed. The IEDC will not even release basic information about any of these deals to the state lawmakers who give the IEDC billions in tax dollars.
Indiana’s House and Senate are due to vote on House Bill 1183 later today, hours before this year’s legislative session gavels to a close.
The scant details the governor’s office did share with legislative leaders in an attempt to derail the bill only make the deals look more dangerous, Leising said. Those include that at least four of the 11 Chinese companies dealing with the IEDC are attempting to locate strategically in former military facilities, near aquifers, and next to a nationally critical rail intersection.
Lawmakers revealed the identity of only one of these corporations, Fufeng Group, while attempting to add exceptions that would allow Fufeng to build an alleged grain processing plant 9.7 miles from a National Guard base. H.B. 1183 would keep businesses and citizens from six “adversarial countries” — which include Communist China, Communist Cuba, and post-Communist Russia — from purchasing or renting Hoosier land within 10 miles of U.S. military assets.
These companies, including Fufeng, would be free to purchase Indiana land. So would foreign citizens with legal permission to live inside the United States. Other amendments allow for partial Chinese ownership of any Indiana land whatsoever. Leising had hoped for a tougher bill, but said any limits would be an improvement and increase Hoosiers’ awareness of this major national security threat in their own neighborhoods.
“Foreign ownership [of U.S. land] has been growing by 2.2 million acres a year since 2015,” said Rep. Kendell Culp, the bill’s primary House sponsor and a Republican. “In Indiana, 2.2 percent of Indiana’s farmland is owned by foreign entities.” Leising told The Federalist the 11 pending Chinese deals are “somewhat spread out” around the state, each in a different county.
Last year, the U.S. Air Force told North Dakota lawmakers Fufeng Group is “a significant threat to national security.” As a result, local government rejected Fufeng’s proposal to build what it called “agricultural facilities” approximately 12 miles from a U.S. Air Force base. So Fufeng moved its plans to Indiana, where so far lawmakers in the Republican-controlled legislature and executive branch have been more accommodating.
Not only is Fufeng’s pending Indiana location fewer than 10 miles from a U.S. military base, “Indiana is going to put them on top of one of the most critical rail lines in the country,” says Michael Lucci, CEO of State Armor, a policy outfit. In addition, as U.S. Rep. Jim Banks, R-Indiana, has pointed out, Fufeng likely employs Uyghur slave labor, violating U.S. sanctions.

That is something that should fall under the purview of Congress, which should institute laws to prevent this. Some states are already doing this but, IMO, it is a Federal responsibility. NE has a current bill on that very subject in the roster. But it needs to be country-wide, not state-by-state.

i ordered an electric broom from amazon. looked at walmart for one like this and they didn’t have one i liked. i have a great vacuum but i needed something to pick up little bits of wood debris that falls off the logs when i bring them up and stuff like that, that i didn’t want in my good vacuum. plus this comes apart and i can use the “dust buster” like portion to vacuum the stairs. and it is easy to clean out.
anyway–it was relatively cheap–less than $30. i ordered it 2 weeks ago and it shipped and i had a tracking number–it was to be delivered in 2 days. after the first tracking location appeared, that was it…it never moved from there and all i got was your shipment has been delayed. a week later, i was told if it wasn’t delivered by 5 pm i could request a refund or order another one. i opted to order another one–i really liked this brand–it was a Eureka.
I tracked the second shipment–took 2 days and i just went down to the delivery box to get it. i imagine the first UPS truck got hit and items were stolen. otherwise, if the truck broke down, they could have put everything on another truck. I received a UPS shipping label if i ever received the original package.

Got an e-mail via Post Millennial from Riley Gaines, who has set up a Foundation, The Riley Gaines Center at the Leadership Institute. It is a plea for donations but this is some BS news….
EXCERPT: “At San Francisco State University last April, I was physically assaulted by an angry mob, barricaded in a classroom, and held for ransom for four hours. I’m still waiting for justice.
The news just broke that the investigation into my case was suspended by the San Francisco State University police with no charges filed. The officer who replied to my inquiry said, The charges in this case are unfounded.
This just encourages what happened to me to happen to more people who dare to question common sense, lived experience, and reality. We don’t see this happen to so-called progressive speakers, or to anyone who dissents from my viewpoint.
While I was locked in the classroom that would become my prison for hours, I wrote on social media, When they want you silent, speak louder. I am more determined than ever to keep speaking louder.”
