WTF??? ABBOTT is attacking our country? What a load of bull shyte!!!
ENTIRE ARTICLE @ ThePostMillenial: “Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson had harsh words for Texas Governor Greg Abbott in the wake of a 5-year-old’s death at a temporary shelter set up to house illegal immigrants in the Windy City. “The issue is not just how we respond in the city of Chicago. It’s the fact that we have a governor, a governor, an elected official in the state of Texas, that is placing families on buses without shoes, cold, wet, tired, hungry, afraid, traumatized, and then they come to the city of Chicago where we have homelessness, we have mental health facilities that have been shut down and closed. You have people who are seeking employment. The governor of Texas needs to take a look in the mirror of the chaos he is causing for this country. This is not just a Chicago dynamic, he is attacking our country,” Johnson said.
The boy died in the Pilsen shelter. Local news reports that “At least six people have been taken to the hospital from the shelter since Sunday, five children and one teenager, including 5-year-old Jean Carlos Martinez Rivero, who died on Sunday.”
The Chicago Department of Health has been dealing with a chickenpox outbreak at the shelter. A cause of death has not yet been released but criminal activity is not suspected. “My heart and my prayers go out to the Martinez family,” Johnson said in a statement. “The city will continue to provide resources and support to them during this difficult time.”
“They’re just dropping off people anywhere. Do you understand how raggedy and how evil that is? You’re just going to put people on a bus, and just take them somewhere and drop them off in the middle of the night?” Johnson said. “It’s sickening.”
Johnson recently created new rules that would permit Chicago to seize and impound buses that were found to be dropping migrants off in the city. As a result, buses have begun dropping migrants off on the edges of town. Over 25,900 illegal immigrants have arrived in Chicago since August 2022, according to records kept by the city.
Officials from Chicago went to Texas to try to get the state to stop sending illegal immigrants north. Abbott has vowed to continue sending illegal immigrants to cities that have stated they are “sanctuary cities,” which means in essence that they are willing and able to accept illegal immigrants. “Approximately $200 million of city’s projected budget deficit in 2024 of $538 million is due to the cost of caring for the migrants sent to Chicago,” reports local news.
Abbott signed bills into law in his state making it illegal for illegal immigrants to cross into the state, meaning they can be arrested for doing so under state law. Texas and other border states have been bearing the brunt of this crisis.
Since Joe Biden took office, more than 7 million illegal immigrants have crossed into the US. Democrat mayors like Johnson and New York’s Eric Adams have begged the White House to do something about the unsustainable influx, but the president has been unwilling to take strong action on this crisis.”

“Women athletes allowed to sue Connecticut over letting boys in girls’ high school sports—The case had initially been dismissed by a judge in the state in 2021, with a three-judge panel of the 2nd Circuit affirming the decision one year ago.”

ENTIRE ARTICLE: “The 2nd US Circuit Court of Appeals revived a lawsuit on Friday brought forth by four female track and field athletes against the state, challenging the rules that allow trans-identified males to compete in women’s sports. The judges found that the female runners have standing to sue, and have described injuries that could qualify for monetary damages, according to NBC News.
The runners are also seeking to alter some athletic records, alleging that they were deprived of opportunities at the elite-level competitions because the trans-identified males were allowed to compete.
The case had initially been dismissed by a judge in the state in 2021, with a three-judge panel of the 2nd Circuit affirming the decision one year ago.
Both sides of the case called the ruling a victory, with the ACLU and ACLU Foundation of Connecticut, who are representing transgender runners Andraya Yearwood and Terry Miller, citing that the court wrote that the trans-identified runners have an “ongoing interest in litigating against any alteration of their public athletic records.”
Roger Brooks, a lawyer for Alliance Defending Freedom, who is representing the four female runners, said the decision was a victory “not only for the women who have been deprived of medals, potential scholarships, and other athletic opportunities, but for all female athletes across the country.”
The lawsuit was brought forth in 2020 on behalf of runners Selina Soule, Chelsea Mitchell, Alanna Smith, and Ashley Nicoletti over a Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference policy that allows biological males to compete on women’s teams.
Three of the 15 judges who heard arguments in the case earlier this year dissented to the ruling fully on Friday, with an additional five judges dissenting to portions of the majority ruling.”

“Germany: Baby Jesus beheaded along with other Nativity figures in latest attack on Christians. All the Christian figures had their heads removed and police are investigating potential religious motives”

December 19, 2023
editor: REMIX NEWS author: JOHN CODY
ENTIRE ARTICLE: “Unknown perpetrators beheaded baby Jesus and other figures in a Christmas nativity scene over the weekend in the city of Rüsselsheim. The attack featured the figures, primarily made out of Styrofoam, having their hands severed and their heads removed; some of them were also knocked over. The figures, which were displayed in the town’s market square, were found by a passerby on Sunday morning. All the figures lost their heads, including baby Jesus, Mary, Joseph, the three kings, and a donkey.
Police have opened an investigation into property damage and are looking into a possible religious motive. However, some are expressing anger at the Rüsselsheim trade association that funded the nativity scene, with one of its officials attempting to make light of the situation.
“This situation should be approached with humor and the Christmas story should be used as an analogy for solidarity and cohesion,” wrote the association on Facebook. “Similar to the Holy Night, which was marked by unexpected twists and challenges, we see this ‘Headless Night’ as an opportunity to stand together and bring light into the darkness together.” However, police are not taking the incident lightly. “For us, this is not a joke,” said Bernd Hochstädter from the south Hesse police headquarters, adding that they are looking into “a possible religious background,” regarding the motive.
As Remix News previously reported, earlier this month, a group of Muslims beat a middle-aged man dressed as Santa Claus. The 54-year-old victim was due to perform at the Königsalm on Königsplatz in the city of Kassel on Dec. 6 when he was approached by a gang of youths who crossed the street and confronted him.
According to the victim, Rainer B., the gang comprised several teenagers of a migrant background around 15 years of age. He told police they insulted him, calling him a “son of a bitch” and a “fat man” and ordered him to remove his Santa Claus costume. They said they were Muslim and that Germany was “their country,” the victim said, as reported by the Hessische Allgemeine newspaper.
A terror attack directed at a Christmas market by a supporter of the Islamic State in Paris led to the death of a German citizen earlier this month, and although the nativity scene attack may be minor, EU officials are warning of an elevated risk of terror attacks during the Christmas season.
“With the war between Israel and Hamas and the polarization it causes in our society, with the upcoming holiday season, there is a huge risk of terrorist attacks in the European Union. We saw recently in Paris, unfortunately we have seen it earlier as well,” said Ylva Johansson, EU commissioner for home affairs.”
