From: House & History
As you make your way through Wyoming’s Wapiti Valley, perched upon a hill just outside of Cody is a strange looking building known to locals as ‘Smith Mansion.’

The home was built over eighteen years by local man Francis Lee Smith. Smith, who worked as a full-time engineer in Cody, made the property in his spare time.

Francis Lee Smith, designed and built ‘Smith Mansion’ from scratch.
Unfortunately, the house didn’t have a fairy-tale ending one would hope for. In 1992, disaster struck, and construction on the property came to an end, forever.
THE HISTORY OF THE SMITH MANSION
In the 1970s, Smith was inspired by an opportunity he couldn’t pass up. After a huge fire on the nearby Rattlesnake Mountain, much of the timber was left up for grabs for anyone willing to lug it away.
Smith had a truck and two willing associates who helped him start loading up. Yet it appears Smith could never stop!
At first, Smith wanted to build a comfortable home for him and his family. But once the house was completed, the project just kept growing. Over the years, what was supposed to be a small family home, became a large tower featuring balconies and viewing platforms.

In the lower floor living spaces, you had named rooms, such as the “hot room” and “cold room.” Through the colder months, they would spend their time in the “hot room” which featured a wood-burning stove. In warmer months, they would use the cooler temperatures of the “cold room.” The house had no running water, and no plumbing or electricity, except for that provided by a small generator.

Unfortunately for Smith, the family home wasn’t to be. Despite living there with his family for some time, his obsession with it became a strain on his marriage, which lead to divorce. His wife, son, and daughter moved back into the nearby town of Cody.
This however, only drove Smith to focus more on completing the building. However, it wasn’t to be, one day in 1992, the 48-year-old was working on one of his slanted roofs when he fell (not for the first time) and died. Smith’s body wasn’t found until two days later.
THE SMITH MANSION TODAY
After the death of Francis Lee Smith, the Smith Mansion passed on to his family. The home is now looked after by Smith’s daughter Sunny Larsen, who was just 12 when her father died but still remembers living in the property as a child.

She said: “His original intent was to build a home for his family, and it just took on a life of its own.” It was only in later years that she realized her father had no blueprints, every addition was off-the-cuff. “He never knew what his next step was going to be.”
His daughter also rejects the idea that mental illness played a part in her father’s obsession. “He built,” she said. “He was an artist in every sense of the word.”
The property has been empty now for almost 30 years, exposed to the elements the wooden structure has begun to decay slowly. Teenagers from the nearby town of Cody routinely visit the property on the weekends and vandalize it.

This decay hasn’t stopped Ms. Larsen from trying to sell the property though. In August 2018, Smith Mansion was listed on the market for $750,000, as of yet it still has no buyer.
How a half-finished wooden structure with no plumbing or electricity on a hill in Wyoming could fetch $750,000 we don’t know. However, it would be a cool property to finish if you had the cash burning a hole in your pocket.

Mansion is not the word I’d use to label that structure.
It’s more of an assemblage and fabrication.

Well, that’s interesting! I’m with GA – I would love to visit; at the same time, it’s clearly unsafe. I have no doubt if it were located in a populated area, the government would have insisted it come down. Rightfully so, IMO. Let some kid die out there and see how fast they move!
Wakey, wakey at 4 am today; by 4:30, Wheezer was at the door watching me intently. I went out with his food dish and gave him some petting time before coming back inside. He chowed down but when he was done, he didn’t walk away; instead, he sat down and washed his face, then turned and sat in front of the door, again watching me….sigh….ok, ok – it’s still above freezing (35) so out I went, sat in my chair and waited until he jumped up. Again, rubbing and rubbing, purring, etc. When I got up, he tried to follow me inside again. Turning into a bit of a love-bug!

“The House passed Speaker Mike Johnson’s funding bill to avert a government shutdown.”
EXCERPT: “It passed on a bipartisan basis by a vote of 336 to 95 – with 209 of the votes coming from Democrats. The bill was opposed by 93 Republicans and two Democrats. Now, the Senate will need to approve the measure before Friday.
The two-step plan extends funding until January 19 for priorities including military construction, Veterans Affairs, transportation, housing and the Energy Department. The rest of the government — anything not covered by the first step — would be funded until February 2. The proposal does not include additional aid for Israel or Ukraine.” — CNN
Our Take: “In news that surprises no one, the Congress passed another continuing resolution. Interestingly, more Democrats voted for the funding than Republicans, with 93 Republicans voting against. This is likely political, and is indicative of who is facing difficult challenges in next election. I have zero faith that it has to do with integrity or ‘promises made, promises kept,’ especially considering that this is literally an unkept promise.
Republican leadership is calling this a ‘win’ and talking about their levels of super seriousness. It appears we will be playing this game again in January, and February, because there is nothing new under the sun.
At the end of the day, the good news is that the Congress continues to reveal that they are irreparably dysfunctional and useless.” — Ashe in America

“Survey: Donald Trump Wins Electoral College Versus Biden, Who Smokes DeSantis”
EXCERPT: “Former President Donald Trump would win the electoral college over President Joe Biden, but Biden would trounce Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL), according to an analysis from Stack Data Strategy among 15,205 registered voters nationwide.
The in-depth survey, conducted from October 13 to November 3 and released in Politico on Monday, found that Trump would garner 292 electoral votes and win back the White House in a hypothetical general election matchup with Biden, who would secure 246 electoral votes. However, Biden would narrowly win the popular vote, 49 percent to 48 percent:
Trump also beats Vice President Kamala Harris and Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) in hypothetical matchups.” — Breitbart
Our Take: “I don’t pay a lot of attention to surveys and polls, though they’re often worth keeping in mind merely in terms of internal media consistency. But this one is just too rich to pass up. We all know Trump would trounce Biden in a real election, but, honestly, Biden probably would wipe the floor with DeSantis. DeSimps most affected. Con Inc. cares about two things:
– Pushing RON (h/t Chris Paul )
– Starting a new Forever War
They are not America First. And they never have been.” — Burning Bright

Racist A.G. Letitia James is smirking all day long from her seat in Court, as New York continues to set records in murder and other violent crimes, and businesses flee to other States. “This is a law that’s rather bazar, this is a law that doesn’t require any victims (there are none, except me!), it doesn’t require anyone to lose money – the banks didn’t complain here, they made money. You have a (Trump Hating!) Attorney General who’s seeking hundreds of millions of dollars in damages when not a single penny was lost by these banks, and that’s part of this (Unconstitutional!) Law…You can see from the reaction of A.G. James, every morning from that seat, that she is enjoying this, enjoying it a bit too much.” Law Professor Jonathan Turley. THIS LAW HAS NEVER BEEN USED FOR THIS BEFORE. It is both Unconstitutional and very UNFAIR! No businesses will come to New York, only continue to leave. The whole case is RIGGED from D.C. Fani Willis is now doing the same leak and gag scheme deployed by Jack Smith, Judges Engeron & Chutkan. Those dirty tricks this week are her reaction to losing two major evidence rulings last week.
In contempt of last week’s evidence orders against her and in a backdoor move, she filed to suppress exculpatory evidence of election fraud. Fani seeks an emergency protective order in court Wednesday to make it difficult for defense to access evidence. Copying the DOJ scheme, she also moved for a gag order timed to interfere in the upcoming elections between now and 2025. The prosecution will now try to take many months from March through October before the defense gets to respond. The regime wants to control the ball and run out the clock as the anchor to the Biden campaign plan. Why does Biden even need to leave his basement and actually campaign if he can have his DOJ do fake trials and have only the regime side of the story told by regime media accomplices.
To further this scheme, Fani / DOJ team leaked several protected plea defendant video clips (nothingburgers) then tried to blame the Harrison Floyd legal team for her leaks. Then later today she announced that the Georgia trial will be extended past the 2024 election.
DOJ & Fani are tactically losing on evidence release and have resorted to the leak and gag plan.

1/ A new investigation into Hamas’ network in U.S. uncovers 17+ Islamist registered charities’ subsidy of terror, & their fundraising of over $250 million through the 501(c) system, funded by dozens of major donors from Bill Gates Foundation to JPMorgan, Shell, Paypal and others.
2/ Some examples. Take Rahma Worldwide in Michigan, which openly partners with designated Kuwaiti terrorist group RIHS (how has the FBI not noticed this?) and is part of their “Uprising in Palestine” campaign in Gaza.
3) The Reach Education Fund in Illinois, whose leading official glorifies Nazism, posting a swastika and referring to himself as a follower of Hitler, celebrating the genocide of Jews
4) Baitulmaal in Texas, which funds an array of Hamas proxies in Gaza. It was officials include former Taliban fundraisers and hardline activists shared praise of “martyrs” who killed Jews
5) Islamic Relief in VA and CA, whose overseas branches openly fund Hamas proxies, and which the U.S. State Department has condemned for “blatant and horrifying anti-Semitism and glorification of violence exhibited at the most senior levels”
6) Islamic Relief franchise’s founder, meanwhile, in an interview with Hamas’s official radio station, urged cooperation between charities and the Hamas “government”. And here’s Islamic Relief’s logo at a Hamas rally in Gaza:
7) ANERA, whose staff member in Gaza has venerated the Hamas founder Sheikh Yassin, posting pictures of the terrorist leader.
8) American Muslims for Palestine, whose official Taher Herzallah, recently paused after talking about embracing anti-Zionist Jews only to remind his audience that “Jews” remain “enemy number one”
9) Pious Projects of America in Chicago, which admits openly to having handed Hamas’s Ministry of Health $50,000
10) Heroic Hearts, whose “program coordinator,” Omar Hammad, is a unabashed supporter of Hamas founder Sheikh Yassin.
11) International Humanitarian Relief, whose founder praised the October 7th attacks and wished the resistance “victory”
12) Helping Hand for Relief and Development in Michigan, which funds a Hamas proxy and whose chief partner in Pakistan, Al-Khidmat, is a proud financier of Hamas.
13) Palestine Children’s Relief Fund, which advertises in Hamas newspapers and runs part of the Al-Rantisi Children’s Hospital in Gaza, which today Israel found housed “a Hamas ‘command and control center’ and may have been used to hold hostages.” Weapons caches were also found.
14) Who is funding all these organizations? Our data shows as much as $100 million from the federal government through poorly managed @USAID programs, but an astonishing $260 million comes from …
15) … a huge assortment of major corporate foundations and major employee-giving and donation platforms. Here are the worst funders of these Hamas-aligned charities. Recognize any names?
16) There’s lots more examples in our major new report here. Look out for other big corporations and their foundations, belonging to JPMorgan, Bank of America, Shell, Morgan Stanley, among others.
17) This report has uncovered many more flagrant instances of U.S. Islamist charities funding Hamas proxies, employing staff who glorify Hamas’s evil, and and working with designated terror groups directly. It’s time for the FBI to act. It’s time for Congress to act.
18) Share this report. Retweet this thread. Place pressure on your representatives, and these corporation foundations and other big donors to stop subsidizing terror. They’ve been duped.
Then let’s shut down these terror subsidizers.

Dive into the various Muslim Brotherhood direct and affiliated groups, you’ll find probably three times that many entities! Just the Muslim Students Association alone…..
Wiki: “The Muslim Students Association, or Muslim Student Union, of the U.S. and Canada, also known as MSA National, is a religious organization dedicated to establishing and maintaining Islamic societies on college campuses in Canada and the United States. It serves to provide coordination and support for affiliated MSA chapters in colleges across North America. Established in 1963, the organization now has chapters in colleges across the continent,[1] and is the precursor of the Islamic Society of North America and several other Islamic organizations. The Muslim Students Association has at times been the subject of scrutiny; for example, the New York Police Department (NYPD) targeted MSAs across several US college campuses for monitoring as part of their Muslim surveillance program.[2]
The Muslim Students Association of the U.S. and Canada is also known as MSA National. It is an umbrella organization for all of affiliated chapters at various campuses across the continent. Local chapters are only loosely connected with the parent institution, and often take different names, such as “Islamic Students Association”, or “Muslim Discussion Group”. Not all campus Muslim groups are necessarily affiliated with MSA National[citation needed].
There is no fixed hierarchy between MSA National and local chapters; as such, the policies and views of the national organization are not necessarily shared by local chapters. The United States and Canada are divided into five zones, three in the US and two in Canada. Each zone has a zonal representative, chosen by the members of the affiliated chapters within that zone. Chapters make up regional councils[citation needed].”

“This is a time, this is a place to run your mouth. We can be two consenting adults, we can finish it here,” Mullin said, reading a June 21 tweet from O’Brien in which he called the Republican Senator “a clown & a fraud.” “Quit the tough guy act in these senate hearings,” the tweet continues. “You know where to find me. Anyplace, Anytime cowboy.”
“We can finish it here,” said Mullin, a former mixed martial arts fighter.
“OK that’s fine, perfect,” O’Brien replied.
“You wanna do it now?” Mullin shot back.
“I’d love to do it right now,” O’Brien replied.
“Well stand your butt up then,” Mullin replied – to which O’Brien echoed, “You stand your butt up!”

Our Take: “The people who keep describing those of using relying solely on speech ‘prone to violence’ are making threats of violence. What a time to be alive!
First there is this story of a sitting US Senator challenging a union president to a literal fight. It’s hilarious that Crazy Bernie is the peacemaker here, and the video is must watch. Also Tuesday, disgraced former speaker Kevin McCarthy was accused of elbowing Rep Tim Burchett (R-TN) in the kidneys in retaliation for voting to oust him as speaker. McCarthy claims it was a crowded situation and unintentional.
Who saw violence in the Capitol between elected officials coming this week? And are any of these legislators going to be investigated for violence in the Capitol? That was rhetorical, of course. The hypocrisy is on full display and the Congress is a clown show.” — Ashe in America

OK, someone help me out here….I’ve watched the video multiple times. To me, it looks like a simple skating accident – there was no intent….I can’t see how that could even be possible! He got hit, was upended, and his foot flew into the air as he was falling. It was just bad timing that it sliced into the other guy’s neck as he fell. How, exactly, is THAT “manslaughter???”

EXCERPT: “Police in England arrested a man Tuesday on suspicion of manslaughter in the death of American ice hockey player Adam Johnson, whose neck was cut by a skate during a game. Johnson, 29, was playing for the Nottingham Panthers against the Sheffield Steelers on Oct. 28 when he was struck by an opponent’s skate blade in the Elite Ice Hockey League game at Sheffield’s home arena.
South Yorkshire Police did not name the suspect or provide his age. He was in police custody.
Matt Petgrave, 31, who plays for Sheffield, was the other player involved in the grisly incident that reverberated around the hockey community and led to moments of silence in the NHL.

States file brief opposing the gag order against President Trump
article
A group of 18 Republican state attorneys general argued Tuesday night that former President Donald Trump’s gag order undermines their citizen’s interest in “hearing from major political candidates” in the coming 2024 election.
The states, led by Iowa Attorney General Brenna Bird and West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey, filed a friend-of-the-court brief with the Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia backing Trump’s appeal of the gag order in his 2020 election case. District Judge Tanya Chutkan “overstepped” her role when she imposed the order, the states argue.
“As administrators of free and fair elections, we have an interest in ensuring no illegal prior restraint is entered against any major political candidate,” the states wrote. “Indeed, our citizens have an interest in hearing from major political candidates in that election. The Order threatens the States’ interests by infringing on President Trump’s free speech rights.”
Chutkan’s order restricts Trump from making public statements targeting Special Counsel Jack Smith or his staff, the defense counsel or their staff, court staff and “any reasonably foreseeable witness or the substance of their testimony” in the case. A carve-out included by Chutkan clarifies that the order “shall not be construed to prohibit Defendant from making statements criticizing the government generally.”
“The judge’s approach for the gag order ignores the fact that the government’s case is political to the core—it’s obvious the other side is stopping at nothing to silence Biden’s political opponent,” Morrisey said in a statement. He noted that even the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) — “an organization on the opposite side of the GOP’s political spectrum” — sided with the former president in opposing the order as a threat to free speech.
“[W]hen political foes join in a common defense, you know there’s something there,” he said
All Americans have the right to free speech & that includes @realDonaldTrump!
Restricting a political candidate’s free speech while they run for office is a dangerous precedent & a disservice to American voters. But we’re pushing back!
Thanks for your partnership @MorriseyWV! https://t.co/6cL9Ochzbe
— Brenna Bird (@BrennaBird) November 15, 2023
The appeals court temporarily stayed the order Nov. 3 following Trump’s appeal. A three-judge panel will consider his appeal during oral arguments Nov. 20.
Trump argued in his appeal brief that Chutkan’s decision to impose the order violates both his First Amendment rights and the rights of “tens of millions of Americans to engage in and hear core political speech in the middle of an ongoing Presidential campaign.”
Special Counsel Jack Smith’s office responded Tuesday in a brief that argued Trump does not have “an unfettered right to try his case in the media.”
The states that joined Iowa and West Virginia include Alabama, Alaska, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas and Utah.

On Tuesday, Reps. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) and Michael Turner (R-OH) penned a letter to Biden Attorney General Merrick Garland urging the Department of Justice to investigate whether former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen should be criminally prosecuted over his recent testimony, which contradicted statements he made to Congress four years ago.
The pair argued that Cohen, who was previously convicted of lying to Congress, “knowingly made false statements while testifying under oath during his deposition before the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence” in 2019.
According to Stefanik and Turner, during his 2019 deposition, Cohen was asked by Democrat Dan Goldman about the personal financial statement of Donald Trump, specifically whether the then-president asked him or Mr. Weiselberg to “inflate the numbers.”
“Not that I recall, no,” Cohen answered.
On October 25, while testifying in New York County Supreme Court in the state’s case against Trump, Cohen was presented with the statements he’d made at the aforementioned Congressional hearing and admitted to defense counsel Alina Habba that what he had said was not true.
“Were you being honest in front of the Permanent Select Committee when you testified on February 28, 2019?” she asked, to which he replied, “No.”
“So you lied under oath in February of 2019? Is that your testimony?” she continued.
“Yes,” he said.

DID YOUR VOTE COUNT?
Please take a moment, fill out this new canvassing survey, and then share it. The more data we can gather, the better, and this saves us from having to go door to door to validate the accuracy of the results of the most recent election.
We will start putting these out after every election moving forward.
Thank you for your support!!

‘Bill allowing Texas cops to arrest undocumented migrants heads to Gov. Greg Abbott’
No doubt the Doubting Thomas & Negative Nellie squads will jump on the bill….. they always do.
Have at it guys & dolls. The demos and the immigration groups in Texas are having a fit that Governor Abbott is going to sign it….. a good sign……. that is more of an indication that it is a good bill than the DTs and NNs screams.
“The illegal entry bill, SB 4, creates a new state crime for unauthorized entry into Texas from a foreign country, a class B misdemeanor on first offense.
The charge would increase to a felony depending on the migrant’s criminal history, including whether they had been convicted on a prior illegal entry charge. The legislation also permits a judge or county magistrate to order the migrant returned to a port of entry, but only after all identifying information is obtained and cross-referenced with state and federal databases.
State Rep. David Spiller, R-Jacksboro, is the House sponsor of the bill and vehemently defended the legislation, saying the state of Texas is inherently within its rights to defend and protect its own borders.
“It’s a landmark bill that allows Texas to protect Texans and to send illegal immigrants back, and to prosecute and incarcerate those that refuse to leave,” he said.”

I am adding a short daily prayer to the board. I would invite each of you, if you wish, to also add one or maybe two of your own liking. I do not want to stifle anyone but please limit yourself to one or two religious postings. here’s one I found that I liked.
