Fact Animal is one of my favorite sites for information about animals. I found this article the other day and wanted to share.
From Fact Animal:
Here’s our big list of the 101 greatest animal facts. This includes some of the most asked, fun, surprising and crazy animal facts from across the animal kingdom. The loudest, deadliest, fastest, largest, most bizarre and random, are all here in our big animal fact list.
The loudest animal in the world is a mere 2cm long, prawn. The Pistol Shrimp is capable of snapping its claw shut so rapidly, that it creates a bubble which collapses to produce a sonic blast, louder than a Concorde’s sonic boom.
The shock wave can reach 230 decibels, also louder than the sound of a gunshot. The imploding bubble for split seconds also generates temperatures of 4,400C, nearly as hot as the sun, killing its prey.
Flamingos are not pink. They are born gray, their diet of brine shrimp and blue green algae contains a natural pink dye called canthaxanthin that makes their feathers pink.
Flamingos in zoos often lost their coloring, until zoo keepers supplemented their diet.
Otters “hold hands” while sleeping, so they don’t float away from each other.
And it’s super-cute.

Hummingbirds are the only known birds that can also fly backwards.
They often do this when retreating away from flowers.
Dolphins use toxic pufferfish to ‘get high’.
Dolphins deliberately handle pufferfish causing them to release toxins as a defense mechanism. These toxins can be deadly in high doses, but also have a narcotic effect – and are a powerful hallucinogenic, which dolphins appear to enjoy. A documentary witnessed them passing around pufferfish in a pod, before floating just underneath the water’s surface, apparently ‘mesmerized by their own reflections’ afterwards.
The Inland Taipan (also known as, the Western Taipan) is the most venomous snake in the world. A single bite contains enough venom to kill at least 100 fully grown men, and can kill within just 30 minutes, if left untreated.
They very rarely ever come in contact with humans, however. Every reliable identification of a snake bite victim from an Inland Taipan have been herpetologists, when handling or studying the snakes. They have all survived, due to successful treatment with antivenom.
The world’s deadliest animal isn’t a shark, bear or tiger, but something far smaller – the mosquito. According to the World Health Organization, 725,000 people are killed each year from mosquito-borne diseases, such as Malaria, dengue fever and yellow fever.
Mosquito outnumber every other animal in the world, apart from ants and termites. They can also be found in nearly every part of the world, which all add up in the risk they pose to humans.
There are more than 1.4 billion insects for EACH HUMAN on the planet, according to recent estimates.
Ants have colonized almost every landmass on Earth. Their population is estimated as 107–108 billion alone, in comparison to approx. 7 billion humans on the planet.
The shortest living animal in the world is the Mayfly. Its entire adult lifespan is just 24hrs.
The Mayfly reproduces and then dies, during that short 24hr period of life. Some species of Mayfly only live for 8-10 hours. Although they have the shortest adult lifespan, they actually exist as a nymph in water from 3-7 years, depending on species.
The horned lizard is able to shoot blood from its own eyes, up to a distance of 3 feet away. The rather bizarre and disgusting act is a defensive mechanism to confuse predators.
Their blood contains a chemical that is noxious to predators, and this isn’t its only trick – short-horned lizards are also capable of inflating their bodies up to twice their size to scare anything away.
Roosters prevent themselves from going deaf due to their own loud crowing, by tilting their head backs when they crow, which covers their ear canal completely, serving as a built-in ear-plug.

A study showed that their crowing averages over 100 decibels, which is roughly the same as running a chainsaw.
Little is known about the elusive Giant squid, however the largest squid ever found measured over 50 feet and weighed nearly a ton.
To put that in perspective, that’s bigger than a bus.
The pangolin is able to roll up into an armor-plated ball, so lions can’t eat them.
If only this worked for poachers, who simply pick them up when they roll into a ball.
Koalas can sleep for up to 22 hours a day.
Koala need more sleep than most animals, because their diet of eucalyptus leaves contain toxins, are very low in nutrition, and high in fibrous matter – so they take a large amount of energy to digest!
Swifts spend most of their lives flying in the air, and can fly for almost an entire year, without ever landing.
A study showed that over a 10-month period, a swift stopped for just 2 hours.
Even after having its head cut off, a cockroach can still live for weeks.
Even stranger, a cockroach’s head can actually survive by itself for a few hours, too.
A group of parrots is known as a pandemonium.

And the collective noun for porcupines, is a prickle.
Cows poo up to 15 times a day, which can be as much as 115 pounds of manure per day, or approximately 21 tons per year.
The large quantities are often put to good use, though – manure, to fertilizer, to fuel, or biogas to create electricity and heat for developing parts of the world.
A common garden snail has 14,000 teeth.
Their microscopic teeth are called radula, and some species actually have over 20,000 teeth.
A Blue Whale’s tongue can weigh as much as a car, or a small adult elephant.
A Blue Whale’s tongue can weigh approx. 2.7 tons, or 6,000 – 8,000 pounds (2,720 – 3,630 kg).
The longest living, verified animal is a Madagascar radiated tortoise, which died at an age of 188 years in May 1965.
However, there might be even older. Adwaita, an Aldabra giant tortoise, died at an estimated age of 255 in March 2006 in Alipore Zoo, Kolkata, India. If verified, it will have been the oldest terrestrial animal in the world.
The fastest land animal on the planet is a cheetah. It can reach speeds of up to 75 mph (120 kph).
While the Peregrine Falcon is the fastest bird, with a diving speed of 242 mph (389 kph). The fastest animal in horizontal flight is the Brazilian free-tailed bat, which can reach speeds of 100mph. The sailfish and black marlin are joint fastest sea animals, and can swim up to 22 mph (36 kph).
Baby elephants suck their trunks for comfort.

Just like babies and young children suck their thumbs, awwww.
The Nile crocodile’s jaws can apply 5,000 pounds of pressure per square inch – the strongest bite of any animal in the world.
A human’s jaw produces 100 pounds of pressure per square inch in comparison. A Nile crocodile’s bite is 10 times more powerful than that of a great white shark.
Axolotl are able to regenerate lost limbs and body organs.
Mexican walking fish can regrow the same limb up to 5 times, and even regenerate parts of its brain.
The Giant Pacific Octopus has 3 hearts, 9 brains and blue blood.
They are also able to change their color and texture to camouflage themselves in a blink of an eye.
A flea can jump distances 200 times their body length.
They are able to jump 10 inches vertically and up to 18 inches horizontally, making them one of the planets best jumpers relative to its size. It’s equal to a human jumping as high as the Empire State Building in New York.
The male seahorse goes through pregnancy and gives birth to babies. They are the only animal on earth where the male carries the baby rather than the female.
The male seahorse has a pouch on its stomach in which to carry babies—as many as 2,000 at a time.
Pufferfish can contain a tetrodotoxin, a toxin that is up to 1,200 times more deadly than cyanide to humans. There is enough toxin in one pufferfish to kill 30 adult humans, and there is no known antidote.
Amazingly despite this, some pufferfish meat is considered a delicacy in Japan. The meat called Fugu, is expensive and only prepared by licensed chefs with over 3 years of rigorous training who remove toxic parts of the meat for diners.
The loudest animal relative to size is the Water Boatman, which measures at just 12mm long, but can produce 99 dB of sound by rubbing its genitalia across its abdomen.
This is the equivalent noise level of operating a circular saw, or a drill.
The howler monkey is the loudest land animal. Its calls can be heard from 3 miles away.

At its peak, the howler monkey can produce sounds that reach 140 decibels. That’s as noisy as a jet engine, on takeoff!
There is an average of 50,000 spiders per acre in green areas.
There are over 45,000 known spider species, with the venom of a few only known to be dangerous to humans.
The aptly named colossal squid’s eyes are as large as a basketball.
This allows the colossal squid to detect the faint light of a predator from over 400 feet.
White-tailed jackrabbits are the greatest land jumpers, having been recorded leaping an astonishing 21ft vertically.
That’s higher than 3 average sized men all stood on top of each other. This large species of hare can also run up to 35mph when escaping predators.
Grey-headed Albatross can circle the globe in only 46 days.
The incredible round-the-world journey covers 14,000 miles over the 46 day period at a steady 13mph. The grey-headed albatross perform this feat by making various pit-stops along the way.
Giraffes are the tallest land animal in the world, reaching heights of 19ft. The ostrich is the world’s tallest bird. It can grow up to 9 feet tall.

Over 7ft of a giraffe’s total size is its famously long neck, which helps it reach leaves in tall trees.
An ostrich legs are so powerful that their kicks can kill a lion.
Or a human! Each two-toed foot has a long, sharp claw – making them formidable weapons. Animals often end up running away from the ostrich.
The dementor wasp paralyses cockroaches with venom to its head, turning them into a zombie-like state. The toxins leave the cockroach unable to control its own movements, which incredibly makes it run into the wasp’s nest to meet its demise.
The venom is thought to cut brain activity that makes cockroaches sense fear and run away to safety. The dementor wasp will then lay eggs on the cockroach to act as an incubator for its young.
More than half of all pigs in the world are kept by farmers in China.
There are over 440 million pigs in China. United States in comparison has a mere 73 million pigs.
Polar bears have jet black skin under their white fur coats.
It helps them absorb heat to keep warm, while the white fur helps provides camouflage in the snowy and icy environment they live.
Giant anteaters consume up to 35,000 ants and termites in a single day.
They use their long sticky tongues to slurp up hundreds of ants per minute. Interestingly, anteaters purposefully never destroy an ant nest, preferring to leave some ants alive to rebuild, so it can return and feed again in the future.
The little known pangolin is the worlds most poached and trafficked animal.
This is due to the high demand of their scales and meat in Asian cultures. 70% of Chinese citizens believe pangolin products have medicinal value, when it’s been scientifically proven to be false.
Great white sharks can detect a drop of blood in 25 gallons of water and can even sense tiny amounts of blood from 3 miles away.
They use their acute sense of smell to detect blood using an organ called the ‘olfactory bulb’.
The Naked Mole-Rat can live in an almost zero oxygen atmosphere.
Incredibly, in a zero-oxygen environment, the Naked Mole-Rat can still survive for up to 20-minutes without suffering any harm at all.
The smell of a skunk is powerful enough for a human to smell it up to 3.5 miles away.
The foul-smelling spray from a skunk can also cause skin irritation and even temporary blindness.
The most venomous fish in the world is the 30cm Stonefish.
Stonefish have 13 sharp fin spines on their back, each with two venom glands. Their stings are extremely painful, can be lethal to humans, and mostly occur as a result of stepping on the creature.
Only 5% of cheetah cubs survive to adulthood.

A study in the 90’s in the Serengeti found that 95% of cheetah cubs died before reaching adulthood. Many deaths were due to Lions, but also other predators and disease.
A tiger’s rear legs are so powerful, that they have been found remaining to stand even after death.
Tigers have been witnessed to have been shot, bled out, and died – and remained standing throughout.
A Rhinoceros‘s horns are made of ‘keratin’, the same type of protein that makes up hair and fingernails.
Some species of Rhinos have two horns, while others just have a single horn.
The Alpine Swift is able to stay airborne for over 6 months without touching down.
It holds the world record for the longest recorded uninterrupted flight by a bird, at over 200 days in the air as it hunted flying insects on its wintering range in the skies over West Africa.

Morning All!

Morning, Pat! I made it to 4:30 this morning, altho the last hour consisted of tossing and turning. Interesting about the roosters’ ear flaps – I’ve got to see if my Sis knows that!!! I turned on the light on the patio to see if Wheezer was here…I didn’t see him anywhere but I retrieved his food dish and put it out. When I did that, I looked over and happened to see the tip of his tail on the other side of the table….digging for something, maybe a mouse, because he totally ignored me for a couple of minutes. Then he came over for some petting before tucking into breakfast.

Oh, I heard a LOT of that before I was adopted when I was a child. Even my oh-so-pious adopted parents now and then. I remember lying in bed one night while they were entertaining another couple – they were drinking and playing cards, and I heard them tell some dirty joke – haven’t a clue now what it was – but it upset me for some reason. I sat up in bed and yelled “I didn’t thing that was funny!” My Mom came and opened my door and asked me what I said…I repeated it and she just told me to go to sleep. They were all a bit tipsy. But for the most part, yeah, school!
I admit to using cartoons or movies to keep HB occupied when she was young but I was always nearby or watching the movie with her.

Nope – shy, quiet, no self confidence whatsoever! But a tomboy thru and thru…until they turned me into a “lady,” which was their job as they saw it. When I said that, it was probably one of less than a handful of times in 15 years that I talked back to either of them. One day Mom and I were in the car and I signed too deeply – you know “the sigh” – she hauled off and backhanded me and broke my glasses, then insisted I NOT tell anyone how I broke my glasses….

I wish I were making this up. In my ongoing lawsuit over the govt. spying on my computers, I submitted this document to the court. It proved that one agent who admitted spying on me (and many others) had, indeed, worked as an informant for US Atty. Rod Rosenstein, as he’d claimed.
About a week later, the informant was reported dead. Which of course means he can’t provide more details of the operation. And the historic clerk’s default I received against him in my lawsuit– the first known such decision in a case of govt. spying on a journalist–pretty much will go nowhere.

No wonder this “TRUMP CASE,” being presided over by a highly partisan and out of control Judge who found me guilty before the trial even started, wouldn’t allow a JURY, and said Mar-a-Lago, in Palm Beach, Florida, was worth only $18,000,000, when it is worth 50 to 100 times that amount, has become an embarrassment to the New York Judiciary. must have been Rep Bowman AGAIN…pulling that fire alarm
FTA
A video provided to Breitbart Texas by a Venezuelan migrant living in New York City shows hundreds of mostly male migrants staged outside a New York City-funded migrant shelter on Tuesday afternoon. The migrants said hundreds were evicted from the shelter after a fire alarm sounded, forcing the migrants to vacate the building in the Long Island City section of Queens.
The migrants can be seen moving around the building as a fire truck arrives. One migrant awaiting the disposition of his asylum case filmed the event while narrating and complained about personal property left inside the building. According to the source, several hundred migrants were offered bussing to alternative sites, including a soft-sided congregant migrant shelter. Others, the source says, were taken to a re-ticketing center in East Village and offered pre-paid airfare out of the city to a destination of their choice.
but THIS–this right here pisses me off: health, vision and dental WITH NO PREMIUMS! VETS don’t get this, our ELDERLY don’t get this!!!
FTA
As reported by Breitbart Texas, a major draw, according to recently arrived migrants, is the lucrative benefits provided by the city. One migrant Breitbart Texas spoke to currently receives health, vision, and dental insurance with no premiums or deductibles. Danny, who has left the city’s shelter system, easily found employment with a cleaning company despite having no legal authorization to work.
Breitbart Texas spoke to Danny regarding the latest evictions on Tuesday. Danny believes the prepaid plane tickets offered by the city to other destinations will have little impact on the situation as many of the migrants have no family support structure in the United States.
He added, “They are not going anywhere — like me — they left everything behind to get here. They are certainly not going back to Venezuela on their own, for what?”

DEFENDING THE REPUBLIC
November 06, 2023
Dear Patriots,
This will be a week to pay attention. There are numerous big off-year elections on Tuesday. It goes without saying, but we will, if you live in a state having elections Tuesday, November 7: VOTE!
Virginia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Mississippi, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Texas all have some degree of state-based elections on Tuesday.
Ohio’s abortion referendum and Pennsylvania’s state Supreme Court race will likely be signals for next year as Democrats continue to complain about reproductive rights after Roe v. Wade was overturned.
Today we share with you…
— the Virginia plan for hope in America.
— the one Senator fighting back at the Judicial system.
— the one man determined to take his town back from wokeism.
— the possible shift from Democrats by Jewish voters.
— impending subpoenas for the Biden Crime Family.
— how Democrats are stealing Democrat elections.

“State secretly retaining blood from newborns; ‘Can currently use the DNA for any reason, without informed consent from parents'”
By WND Staff
Published November 5, 2023 at 12:06 pm
ENTIRE ARTICLE: “A lawsuit has been filed by the Institute for Justice over a New Jersey state program that has been obtaining, and secretly retaining, blood from newborns. The IJ explained it is representing a number of parents in the case. It’s because right now, “The state can currently use the DNA from the blood samples for any reason, without informed consent from parents.” The case charges that state law in New Jersey demands that when babies are born, blood be taken and tested for various diseases, similar to other states.
“But, after the testing is over, New Jersey’s Department of Health keeps the leftover blood for 23 years. The state does not ask parents for their consent to keep their babies’ blood, failing to even inform parents that it will hold on to the residual blood. The only way parents could learn about such retention is by proactively looking it up on one of the third-party websites listed on the bottom of the card they’re given after the blood draw.
“And, once the state has the blood, it can use it however it wishes, including selling it to third parties, giving it to police without a warrant, or even selling it to the Pentagon to create a registry—as previously happened in Texas,” the legal team warned. “Parents have a right to informed consent if the state wants to keep their children’s blood for decades and use it for purposes other than screening for diseases,” Rob Frommer, a senior IJ lawyer, said. “New Jersey’s policy of storing baby blood and DNA and using that genetic information however it wants is a clear violation of the Fourth Amendment rights of all New Jersey parents and their newborns.”
The plaintiffs are two Boonton parents, Erica and Jeremiah Jedynak, and Rev. Hannah Lovaglio, a Cranbury mother of two. Lovaglio explained, “It’s not right that the state can enter an incredibly intimate moment, the tender days of childbirth, and take something from our children which is then held on to for 23 years. The lack of consent and transparency causes me to question the intent and makes me worried for my children’s future selves.”
Christie Hebert, a lawyer for IJ, explained New Jersey’s practice is problematic: “What makes New Jersey’s program so uniquely disturbing is the complete lack of safeguards for future abuse and the lack of consent, which leave the program ripe for abuse. Parents should not have to worry if the state is going to use the blood it said it was taking from their baby to test for diseases for other, unrelated purposes.”
Similar lawsuits already have been brought against Texas, Minnesota and Michigan, and in those cases settlements have ordered the destruction of blood samples held by the states, or the state has voluntarily destroyed them.”

“Game Changer for Vitamin D” – Supplementation Found To Improve Cancer Survival”

By BOSTON UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF MEDICINE OCTOBER 30, 2023
“For over a century, the relationship between vitamin D deficiency and the risk of several cancers has been a topic of discussion. A recent commentary has highlighted the potential benefits of improving vitamin D levels to reduce cancer risk and enhance survival rates. It emphasizes the results of a study by Kanno et al., which found that certain patients with immune responses against the mutated p53 protein, a protein associated with cancer growth, benefited from vitamin D supplementation. It also suggests that future research should consider these factors and focus on vitamin D dosage to improve cancer outcomes.”

A Trace story published Thursday titled “Shoot, Don’t Kill,” extolls the benefits of less-than-lethal technology by examining several weapons made by Byrna Technologies, Inc., which use a 12-gram CO2 cartridge to launch .68 caliber projectiles at approximately 330 feet-per-second. “Users can also opt for ammo loaded with tear gas or oleoresin capsicum, an extract of hot peppers, which can induce nausea, difficulty breathing, and a terrible burning in the throat, lungs, and eyes,” the story states.
The Trace story quotes Byrna’s founder, president and chief executive officer, Bryan Ganz. However, on Friday Ganz told the Second Amendment Foundation’s Investigative Journalism Project that he had never even heard of the Trace until the story appeared Thursday morning. The freelance writer who wrote the story claimed it would appear in a different publication. “Originally, he said it was supposed to be published in Wired magazine,” Ganz said Friday. “But once we gave him the quotes, we had no control over where the article was published.”
The story was written by Ted Alcorn, who describes himself in the story as an “independent journalist whose reporting has appeared in numerous publications including the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal.” Alcorn’s bio also shows he was “the founding research director of Everytown for Gun Safety and a policy analyst in the New York City mayor’s office.”
Until he saw it Thursday morning, Ganz had no idea his story would appear on one of the leading websites of the gun-ban industry. “Our attitude is that the more people who discuss it, the better, I guess,” Ganz said. Alcorn used a bit too much editorial license and took things a bit too far, Ganz said, especially when he implied that gun owners would somehow realize that their firearms were “problematic,” and switch to his weapons for their reduced lethality.
“It’s easy to see why gun owners might perceive a less lethal offering as an admission that traditional guns are problematic. But over the last century, the primary use of firearms has changed,” the story states. “Lethality was essential when they were mainly tools for hunting animals or national defense, but now nearly three-quarters of people who own guns say they do so for self-protection against other humans.”
“I never said anything like that,” Ganz said. “I support the Second Amendment, and I’ve carried concealed for years. I’ve been a gun owner my entire life.”

“Middle East Received $21 Billion In U.S. Foreign Aid Under Biden Administration: Israel received $6.6 billion for defense. Another 17 countries split $14 billion – including direct cash payments (2021-2023).”

ADAM ANDRZEJEWSKI
NOV 6, 2023
EXCERPT: “TOPLINE: Seventeen Middle Eastern countries, plus Egypt, received $20.8 billion in U.S. foreign aid during the Biden administration in fiscal years 2021-2023, according to U.S. government disclosures. Israel received $6.615 billion. Jordan and Yemen received the next highest funding levels, with $3.8 and $3.2 billion, respectively.
Hamas’ terrorist attacks against Israel on October 7 claimed more than 1,400 lives. Neighboring Middle Eastern countries soon spoke out against Israel taking some retaliatory measures. Principally, they objected to Israel causing civilian casualties by invading Gaza to rescue Israel and U.S. hostages taken October 7, and to eliminate Hamas once and for all.
Auditors at OpenTheBooks.com decided to take a closer look at foreign aid spending in the region. The countries in the “Middle East” are defined by the United Nations “based on geographical and climatic homogeneity.”
Note: Iran didn’t receive direct taxpayer dollars, but an estimated $50 billion from loosed sanctions, unfrozen assets, and other policy changes by the Biden administration. Furthermore, the Biden administration restarted $1 billion in Palestinian aid through the United Nations after a Trump freeze…..”

“The Nashville Mass Murderer Was a Bigot but That’s NOT the Biggest Story Being Revealed. They will protect their narratives and agenda with every diabolical ounce of cunning they have at their disposal.”
JD RUCKER
NOV 6, 2023
ENTIRE ARTICLE: “Anyone who wants to hear or read the heinous vitriol written by Nashville mass murderer Audrey “Aiden” Hale can watch Steven Crowder reading it or read about it themselves at The Post Millennial. I’m not shy, especially when it comes to revealing the truth, but I’m not going to post any of the garbage here because the bigger story must be told.
The fact that Hale was a deranged and violent bigot is a big story, but the bigger story is the coverup. Now that we know she was loaded with hate, the measures undertaken by our own government, including multiple city, state, and federal agencies, to hide the manifesto should be considered criminal.
Here’s what the manifesto and Hale’s history demonstrate. Hale was mentally ill with gender dysphoria. She received “gender affirming care” to help her “transition.” Whether during this transition or after, she was indoctrinated into a radical leftist perspective of anti-White hatred that permeates across society today as a direct result of “wokeness” that drives both “white guilt” and anti-White actions.
The hideous mass murder she perpetrated against children was a result of this indoctrination. That’s not surprising and this won’t be the last incident because the “woke mind virus” will certainly lead to more violence. Unfortunately, it’s also not surprising that the woke powers-that-be were able to keep this damning manifesto under wraps for so long despite exposure through multiple levels of government and law enforcement.
They don’t want the truth about the trans-supremacy agenda exposed and if it weren’t for one brave leaker amongst a sea of cowards in government and law enforcement, the truth would have never come out. THAT, my friends, is the bigger story here. Children were sacrificed on the altar of wokeness and we almost never knew the truth.
I’m going to leave it at that to open up discussion in the comments.”

Judge Engoron: “Mr. Kise, can you control your client? This is not a political rally… Maybe you should have a talk with him right now.” Kise disagrees and says it would be far more economical to let the “former and future chief executive of the United States” to give his answers.

brought the entire article to show how unfair the judge is being–he’s there to listen to testimony, but he wants shirt answers. The President is rarely a short answer guy–especially when his business is on the line!
Former President Trump traded jabs with New York Judge Arthur Engoron as he testified on the stand Monday morning during the non-jury civil trial stemming from New York Attorney General Letitia James’ lawsuit against him and his businesses in the state.
Kevin Wallace, a lawyer in the New York Attorney General’s Office, began questioning the president during his unprecedented time on the stand — specifically about his statements of financial condition.
Trump said the statements were “not really documents the banks paid much attention to,” and Wallace asked how he knew that. The former president said he has been dealing with banks for “50 years and they look at the deals.”
“We’ll explain it as this trial goes along — crazy trial,” Trump said.
Engoron, though, said Wallace was being “patient” but wanted the questioning to move along faster.
“Please just answer the questions — no speeches,” Engoron said.
Trump’s defense attorney Chris Kise interjected, saying the questions are open-ended and required lengthy answers.
Wallace went on to show Trump his 2014 statement of financial condition. Wallace read a portion that said Trump was responsible for preparing that statement.
“What they wanted was as much information as we could give them so that they could do their statements,” Trump said, adding that he was responsible for giving preparers the necessary information.
When asked what he was personally responsible for, Trump said, “It was so long ago, but well beyond the statute of limitations for anyone else, but not me because I’m sure the judge will rule against me.”
Engoron fired back at Kise, asking if Trump’s comment was a “necessary part of the narrative?”
Kise said the judge should allow the former president of the United States “a little latitude.”
Engoron went on to ask Trump to “answer the question.”
“You can attack me as much as you want, but please answer the question,” Engoron said.

Trump testified that he authorized and gave preparers information that was necessary for those statements.
“I’m probably more expert than anyone else, so someone would ask me and if I had opinion I would give it,” Trump said.
Wallace went on to ask the former president if the values on the statements were ever “off.”
Trump said on occasion they were either higher or lower. When asked for an example, the former president said Mar-A-Lago was underestimated “but I didn’t do anything about it.”
“Values are far bigger than what’s on the statements…I thought 40 Wall St…Doral was underestimated, considerably more valuable,” he said of his properties.
In a shot at Engoron, Trump said the judge said Mar-a-Lago is worth “$18 million, but it is worth 50 to 100 times more than that.”
“But the judge ruled against me,” Trump said. “I don’t know how he got to those numbers.”
Trump added, “The most valuable asset was the brand asset, but I didn’t put it on the statement…If I wanted to build up a statement, like you said, I would have added the brand value here.”
Former US President Donald Trump in court
Wallace went on to ask additional questions, but Trump continued speaking.
Engoron fired back at Kise, “Can you control your client? This is not a political rally; this is a courtroom”
“I’ve asked the witness several times to answer the questions,” he said. “Maybe you should have a talk with him right now.”
Kise said some questions “call for narratives.”
Later, Engoron slammed Trump, saying, “In addition to not answering, you’re repetitive…Mr. Kise, can you control your client?”
Kise argued that the questions are not “tight” questions, and that Trump is not a lawyer.
Meanwhile, Wallace began another line of questioning, and Engoron fired back at Kise saying, “Mr. Kise, I beseech you to control him. If you can’t, I will.”
Kise, defending the former president, said the judge should want to hear everything the witness has to say.
“I don’t want to hear everything he has to say,” Engoron said.
Trump’s defense continued that it is “necessary, beneficial, and relevant to answer the questions in this manner.”
Trump attorney Alina Habba said Wallace “should try to ask better questions.”
“I’m not here to hear what he has to say…he goes into speeches,” Engoron said.
Habba fired back, telling the judge he should be present to listen to the former president’s testimony.
“This is a very, very unfair trial, and I hope the public is watching,” Trump said.

DC Draino poses a very serious question. Was this woman on FJB’s FIB radar?
“Nashville Trans School Shooter’s Manifesto Reveals She Made a 10 Minute “Final Video”, Where is It?”
“The third page of the manifesto contained Hale’s schedule, which showed her morning routine the day of the deadly shooting.
One thing that eerily sticks out on the schedule is that she planned to make a “final video” at 11:20 AM that was 10 minutes long.”
DC Draino also highlighted an intriguing detail from the Nashville Trans Terrorist Manifesto.
Hale wrote, “There were several times I could’ve been caught, especially back in the summer of 2021.”
DC Draino wrote, “Was she already on the FBI’s radar? Is this why they hid the memo? Congress should investigate.”

“What a different generation they were – This is a great story. Ruth Hensinger was married on July 12, 1947, wearing a dress made from the nylon parachute that saved her husband’s life. Maj. Claude Hensinger, a B-29 pilot, was returning from a raid over Japan in August 1944 when his engine caught fire. When he proposed to Ruth after the war, he offered her the material from the parachute that saved him.
She worked with a seamstress to create the bodice, and used the strings on the parachute to shorten the front of the dress and create a train in the back. The dress was also worn by their daughter and by their son’s bride before being donated to the Smithsonian.”
