Morning All!
let a smile be your umbrella!
last evening hubby and i both saw a hummer (we think) flying around the 2 side feeders. they haven’t been cleaned in a week so i brought them in and cleaned them. i refilled one and put it back out. maybe we are getting stray migrators?
Morning, Pat! I still got notified that I logged in (duh! no shit, sherlock!) asked to select notification of new posts, e-mail me new posts (instantly, daily, weekly) or e-mail me new comments. I’ve already set those preferences in my account – STOP ASKING ME, JITBAGS!!!!
Yes, it’s morning and I haven’t had a full cuppa yet. Only got down to 45 so I uncovered the lopes; trash taken out to the bin in my garage; litterbox cleaned; food out on patio for GT; still really windy, can’t tell if it’s cloudy yet. Oh, blessed coffee!!!😉😉😉😉
Morning Filly!
I only get that stuff when i log in for the first time in the morning. i meant you can post several memes and the spacing in between shows–so you can figure out how many you’re posting.
Same for me w/the log-in – both here and at M’s – just happens the first time I try to comment then I don’t see it again all day. We have set our preferences already w/in our account and do NOT need to be asked again!
I noticed yesterday that the spacing issue varies from site to site. It happened with the memes I posted yesterday – some are still running waaaay outside the box depending on the site where I am copying them, both here & at M’s. It has already happened to me this morning, too. And when you enter a comment, then click elsewhere to change it before you post it, the entire box drops down so that the last thing you can see on the screen is where you want to make the change – you can’t see what comes immediately after. That messes me up every fucking time!
i rarely edit inside the box…I wait till it posts…then i see I screwed up and edit thru the edit function…LOL
sometimes…sometimes i just let it lie. which i know you can’t do, being a perfectionist and all…
interesting…this is from politico–left leaning news source…

[The] prosecutors’ case is really about distinct powers that the president has: communicating with the public, organizing his administration, talking to Congress, enforcing election laws and ensuring the Constitution is faithfully executed. Whether Trump genuinely believed that the election was stolen — which his attorneys say he did — is irrelevant in assessing his immunity from prosecution, they argue.
“This conduct is manifestly part of the President’s responsibilities in our constitutional tradition, and the question whether the President has a formal role in the election certification process makes no difference,” the attorneys wrote.
[…] Trump’s attorneys say there’s an even more fundamental problem with the charges against him: He was acquitted by the Senate in an impeachment trial for similar conduct. That acquittal, they say, renders Trump “absolutely immune” from prosecution for related acts.
“The Impeachment Clauses provide that the President may be charged by indictment only in cases where the President has been impeached and convicted by trial in the Senate,” the attorneys wrote. “Here, President Trump was acquitted by the Senate for the same course of conduct.”
The Senate acquitted Trump despite a 57-43 majority favoring his conviction because of a two-thirds requirement in the Constitution. At the time, Trump was charged with one count — inciting insurrection — related to his speech to a rally crowd that later became the mob that stormed the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. The impeachment trial came just a month after the attack — and shortly after Trump had left office. (link)

I’m in a rat’s nest of NEW YORK DEMOCRAT CORRUPTION, a reason so many companies are leaving New York, our Racist Attorney General filled a lawsuit whose facts and VALUATIONS are wrong, like $18,000,000 for Mar-a-Lago, when it is worth, perhaps, 100 times that amount, and numerous other properties, likewise, that this case is a political SHAM that should never have been brought. I DON’T EVEN GET A JURY – Therefore, a Radical Left Judge, who came up through Democrat Club System, will decide. It is not possible that he can be fair. Every decision he makes has been a horror show. It is why I do the set asides with the media – To explain the case, and what is going on. Our CORRUPT, RACIST, & INCOMPETENT A.G., Letitia “Peekaboo” James, considered the WORST ATTORNEY GENERAL IN THE UNITED STATES, refused to bring this case under the respected “Commercial Division,” where judges understand Valuations and Real Estate. This Trump Hating Judge doesn’t. The Appellant Division must intercede, NOW!

So interesting to watch Crooked Joe Biden break every environmental law in the book to prove that I was right when I built 560 miles (they incorrectly state 450 in story!) of brand new, beautiful border wall. As I have stated often, over thousands of years, there are only two things that have consistently worked, wheels, and walls! Will Joe Biden apologize to me and America for taking so long to get moving, and allowing our country to be flooded with 15 million illegals immigrants, from places unknown. I will await his apology!
Biden administration waives 26 federal laws to allow border wall construction in South Texas

Wacky Bill Cassidy, the incompetent Senator from the great State of Louisiana, now wants to pour vast amounts of money into South American countries in the hope that their economies will become strong and vibrant, and people will stop coming to the U.S. I’d much rather spend the Trillions of Dollars necessary, most of which will be stolen by the “dictators,”inside the U.S., with a strong Border, like under the Trump Administration, to protect us. Tell this dope of a Senator about a “little thing” called AMERICA FIRST!!!Cassidy is BAD NEWS. The great people of Louisiana would love to have a “do over” of his Election. Cassidy is totally unelectable!

“It’s almost obnoxiously low,” another Palm Beach realtor with over 30 years of experience in the area, tells the Sun…Mar-a-Lago has 17 acres and stretches across the island, with beachfront on both sides. “There are no comparables. There’s nothing to go on. It would be like you asking me how much is the Mona Lisa worth?” he says.
This case should never have been filed, and Trump has several viable defenses:
1. This all about valuations of property, which is highly subjective. It’s opinion, not fact. Disparities are common. But the lenders and insurers did their own independent “due diligence.” They confirmed Trump’s valuations and found no fraud or false statements.
2. Those same banks made enormous profits from Trump —$100 million plus interest— when he repaid all the loans. It’s hard to claim fraud when no one was harmed and there’s no victim.
3. Trump’s valuations complied with accepted General Accounting Principles…and were performed not by Trump, but by expert professionals who will testify at trial that they were valid.
4. Some of the claims are so old that they’re barred by the statute of limitations, which the judge ignored.
maybe he knows jordan has the votes and wants to be backing “the winner” till we can change the number of rinos in the house. i see jordan as another mccarthy tbh.

Trump endorses Jim Jordan for Speaker. A good choice IMO.
Agreed! Just one caveat…IF this truly is a game that is being played, I for one do NOT appreciate it!!! Just stop with the fucking games! See? THIS is yet another reason I could never get into politics – I would refuse to play this psychological BS and they would absolutely destroy me!

Pound of crystal meth found by cops at NYC hotel housing migrants: sources
A pound of crystal meth was recovered by police in a room at a Staten Island hotel that has been converted into emergency housing for migrants, according to sources.
The drugs, which were stuffed inside a black bag, were first spotted by a worker at the Ramada Inn on North Gannon Avenue around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, law enforcement sources told The Post.
An asylum seeker had resided in the room where the meth was located, sources said, but no one was there at the time of the discovery.
The hotel was turned into a 35-unit shelter to house incoming migrants on May 4, according to local politicians who decried the transformation.
“It currently costs taxpayers $93,000 for each family housed in these units, which is more than many Staten Islanders make in one year,”
Murders, cartels, squalor: Inside ‘colony’ near Houston accused of being ‘haven for illegal aliens’
PLUM GROVE, Texas — In the piney woods and wetlands 35 miles north of Houston, one of the biggest housing developments in the country has become one of the most controversial.
Colony Ridge, a sprawl of homes, trailers and even tents, is home to as many as 75,000 people in an area at least 50 percent bigger than Manhattan.
The 40-square-mile development on unincorporated land in Liberty County was launched 15 years ago by billionaire developer brothers Trey and John Harris.
Both locals and law enforcement sources told The Post that they believe the Sinaloa and Gulf cartels bought property here early and have considerable influence.
Liberty County Sheriff Bobby Rader said recently that his department doesn’t have enough officers to properly patrol the settlement, which he described as something of a no-go zone. “I’ve heard rumors that the cartel is buying up these houses,” he said.
“As soon as the Colony started being developed, the murder rate suddenly jumps,” Shrader told The Post.
“We started having dead bodies found out there. Somebody’s hand was brought up to their house by a dog. They found a body with a gun buried out there.”
i believe the AG was going after this crap which is why they tried to impeach him. you gotta figure some of the texas legislature has to be getting bribes for some of this stuff to keep happening…it’s their ukraine
Trump seeks to delay trial in classified documents case until after 2024 presidential election
Excerpt:
Trump’s lawyers also said classification reviews, which they argued should be turned over to them as part of the discovery process, have not yet been produced.
“These are not mere ‘complaints.’ The Special Counsel’s Office has not provided some of the most basic discovery in the case,” they wrote. “Given the current schedule, we cannot understate the prejudice to President Trump arising from his lack of access to these critical materials months after they should have been produced.”
more leaks—this is so “whisper down the alley” ridiculous.

Months after leaving the White House, former President Donald Trump allegedly discussed potentially sensitive information about U.S. nuclear submarines with a member of his Mar-a-Lago Club — an Australian billionaire who then allegedly shared the information with scores of others, including more than a dozen foreign officials, several of his own employees, and a handful of journalists, according to sources familiar with the matter.
The potential disclosure was reported to special counsel Jack Smith’s team as they investigated Trump’s alleged hoarding of classified documents at Mar-a-Lago, the sources told ABC News. The information could shed further light on Trump’s handling of sensitive government secrets.
Prosecutors and FBI agents have at least twice this year interviewed the Mar-a-Lago member, Anthony Pratt, who runs U.S.-based Pratt Industries, one of the world’s largest packaging companies.
In those interviews, Pratt described how — looking to make conversation with Trump during a meeting at Mar-a-Lago in April 2021 — he brought up the American submarine fleet, which the two had discussed before, the sources told ABC News.
According to Pratt’s account, as described by the sources, Pratt told Trump he believed Australia should start buying its submarines from the United States, to which an excited Trump — “leaning” toward Pratt as if to be discreet — then told Pratt two pieces of information about U.S. submarines: the supposed exact number of nuclear warheads they routinely carry, and exactly how close they supposedly can get to a Russian submarine without being detected.
In emails and conversations after meeting with Trump, Pratt described Trump’s remarks to at least 45 others, including six journalists, 11 of his company’s employees, 10 Australian officials, and three former Australian prime ministers, the sources told ABC News.
While Pratt told investigators he couldn’t tell if what Trump said about U.S. submarines was real or just bluster, investigators nevertheless asked Pratt not to repeat the numbers that Trump allegedly told him, suggesting the information could be too sensitive to relay further, ABC News was told.
It’s unclear if the information was accurate, but the episode was investigated by Smith’s team.
Sources said another witness, one of Trump’s former employees at Mar-a-Lago, told investigators that, within minutes of Pratt’s meeting with Trump, he heard Pratt relaying to someone else some of what Trump had just said.
According to the sources, the former Mar-a-Lago employee also told investigators he was “bothered” and “shocked” to hear that the former president had provided such seemingly sensitive information to a non-U.S. citizen.
I had this vision of them showing up at my door…LOL – warrant please! No? GET THE FUCK OFF MY PROPERTY!!! https://www.newsweek.com/2023/10/13/exclusive-fbi-targets-trump-followers-2024-election-nears-1831836.html
Our Take: “As the regime subsidizes first responders, farmers and small business owners in Ukraine, in America, they’ve escalated their war against America First voters. Tell me more about how the weaponization of law enforcement is a conspiracy theory.
We know from FBI whistleblower testimony that the single event of J6 was used to open hundreds of separate investigations all over the nation — to lay the groundwork for MAGA as a new category of ‘domestic violent extremism (DVE).’ We know that FBI agents have tracked the license plates of parents at school board meetings, locked up pro-life advocates, and prosecuted too many speech crimes to count.
Now we learn that they’ve categorized us. I’m wondering about their database and tracking activities, what kind of records exist, and whether they’re using that data to get surveillance warrants on their political opponents. Worse, I’m wondering if they actually believe they need surveillance warrants, or if being MAGA now amounts to probable cause. This is Soviet-level stuff, and it is entirely incompatible with the US constitution and the government limitations enshrined in the Bill of Rights.
The Biden-Garland DOJ is so far outside its mandate that many are wondering if it will ever be reigned in, or if Big Brother needs a lobotomy. I think all efforts at reform to date have proved the latter but, with rigged selections instead of elections, that outcome seems out of reach. That is, those with the power to lobotomize the American KGB are invested in its success, and they are all too happy to wield its power against their political opponents.
Politicians won’t vote against their own self interest, which is why their allowable scope was so limited by the Framers. We need to get back to that. And soon.” — Ashe in America
“Putin On Prigozhin Death: Wagner Leaders Got Drunk, High, & Played With Grenades Aboard Plane” — President Vladimir Putin just floated the most interesting – and let’s say, colorful – theory to date on why Yevgeny Prigozhin’s plane went down outside Moscow on August 23. While much of Western reporting and even Russian media itself have described the Wagner chief’s death as due to either an anti-air missile or a planted bomb being detonated, Putin told an annual meeting of the Valdai Club in Sochi on Thursday that Prigozhin and his men likely got drunk or possibly high, and were playing with grenades.
Bloomberg, which picked up on the unexpected public comments, wrote: “Russian President Vladimir Putin said pieces of grenade were found in the bodies of Wagner founder Yevgeny Prigozhin and other mercenary leaders who died in a plane crash, as he hinted that the man who led an armed revolt against the Kremlin’s military leadership had been a drug user.” — ZeroHedge
“Kevin McCarthy was behind interim Speaker Patrick McHenry’s move to kick former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and former Majority Leader Steny Hoyer out of their office spaces, two Republican sources told CNN.
GOP Rep. Garret Graves told reporters on Wednesday that McCarthy is getting the office that McHenry has ordered her to vacate.
“Look the deal is that the office that Pelosi is in right now is the office of the preceding speaker. Speaker Pelosi and other Democrats determined that they wanted a new … speaker, and it’s Kevin McCarthy. So, he’s getting the office,” he said.”
“A judge in Waukesha County issued a ruling that sides with parents in the debate over how school districts handle transgenderism in schools. Judge Michael Maxwell on Tuesday sided with two parents in the Kettle Moraine School District after they sued in 2021 because the district did not tell them that school leaders and teachers were calling their middle school-aged daughter by a different name at school.
“This court has before it what modern society deems a controversial issue – transgenderism involving minors within our schools. Clearly, the law on this issue is still developing across the country and remaining largely unsettled. However, this particular case is not about that broad controversial issue. This particular case is simply whether a school district can supplant a parent’s right to control the health care and medical decisions for their children. The well-established case law in that regard is clear – Kettle Moraine cannot,” the judge wrote. “The School District abrogated the parental rights of [the parents] on how to medically treat [their child] when the district decided to socially affirm [the child] at school despite [the parents] requesting it does not. Through its policy of disregarding parental wishes on a medical or health related decision and with how fast questioning one’s gender can arise, [the parents] are at real risk of being harmed.”
Kevin Marine Schools defended the decision to keep gender decisions from parents, saying informing all parents of all children’s decisions to change gender could put some students at risk. The judge said that argument didn’t cut it. Kettle Moraine Schools said it handles things on a case-by-case basis. The judge took issue with that.
“Rather than doing what the voters have elected them to do, the Kettle Moraine School Board abrogated their responsibility to either pass judgment on a policy regarding these serious issues or to affirm the actions of their employee, the superintendent. Instead, the School District has hidden behind claims of no parental right or unfounded Title IX issues rather than give parents in their district what they deserve – clear guidance on how the district intends to handle these controversial issues,” the judge wrote.
Luke Berg with the Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty, one of the law firms that handled the case, said this is the first time a judge has come down on the side of the parents in a case like this one. “This victory represents a major win for parental rights. The court confirmed that parents, not educators or school faculty, have the right to decide whether a social transition is in their own child’s best interests. The decision should be a warning to the many districts across the country with similar policies to exclude parents from gender transitions at school,” Berg added.
The parents in the case removed their daughter from school but have two children who remain in the school district.”
“Popcorn or toasted marshmallows? Watching the American news media collapse is entertaining.”
OCT 5, 2023
ENTIRE ARTICLE: “Axios reported, “Traffic referrals to the top global news sites from Meta’s Facebook and X, formerly Twitter, has collapsed over the past year, according to data from Similarweb. “Why it matters: Website business models that depended on clicks from social media are now broken.”
Sit back and enjoy the show. We are watching the empires built on lies melting like that cake in the dark in MacArthur Park. All the sweet, green icing flowing down. Tut-tut-tut. News media outlets will never have that recipe again.
Axios reported clicks from Facebook and Twitter declined from 170 million in August 2020 to 44 million this August. The days when Mark Zuckerberg and Jack Dorsey had the power to rule the online world disappeared. Poof. Gone. Four years ago, Axios reported, “Top Republicans are privately worried about a new threat to President Trump’s campaign: the possibility of Facebook pulling a Twitter and banning political ads.
“Why it matters: Facebook says it won’t, but future regulatory pressure could change that. If Facebook were to ban — or even limit — ads, it could upend Trump’s fundraising and re-election plan, GOP officials tell Axios. “Trump relies heavily — much more so than Democrats — on targeted Facebook ads to shape views and raise money.” And Zuckerberg did just that. If the Twitter Files that Elon Musk released are any indication., the federal government replaced that money in the name of stopping disinformation and misinformation (aka the truth) from spreading.
Among the things Facebook and Twitter censored were HCQ and Ivermectin being helpful in combatting covid. Thousands of people died because of this. The diabolical duo also blocked the New York Post from promoting its expose on Hunter’s laptop. None of the rest of the media stood up against this state-sponsored censorship. Now they are losing 100 million or so clicks a month?
Hahaha! As you watch the media collapse, which do you prefer, popcorn or toasted marshmallows? Axios told its readers, “A slower ad market and less reliable traffic contributed to a record number of media job cuts this year. “Efforts to reach voters with trusted information are becoming more difficult as tech platforms lean into viral trends, instead of quality news.”
By trusted information, Axios means the Steele Dossier that Obama used to cover up his use of the FBI to spy on Donald Trump. They reap what they sow as their lies catch up with them. The lying news media is not alone in having problems with online advertising. Vidhi Choudhary reported in February, “The digital ad market is in a slump.” She wrote, “Last week, tech giant Alphabet reported a 3.6% drop in Google’s advertising revenue to $59 billion from $61.23 billion in the fourth quarter of last year. Facebook parent Meta saw a drop of 4.2% in advertising revenue in its fourth quarter quarter earnings. The pace of growth in Amazon’s advertising business also decelerated to 19% in the most recent quarter, compared to a faster 32% year-over-year gain during the same period last year.”
Are you having fun yet? Which do you prefer, pink champagne or cherry cola? C-O-L-A cola.
Chris Gadek, VP of Growth at AdQuick, declared, “Online advertising is dying. And not a dignified death, surrounded by loved ones and kindly nurses. It will be a gruesome death by a thousand cuts. I can’t wait.” He noted the ads are clickbait, flash ads (you are the millionth customer), and “tracking and profiling.” He wrote, “The ad-tech industry built large, detailed profiles of individual consumers, their interests, and their preferences. These ad-tech businesses acted almost like a private intelligence agency. Through their surveillance, they could deliver ads with gravity-defying precision.”
The backlash was and is intense. The EU actually did some good for the world in making companies stop tracking people. Ad blockers made their way into browsers. I recommend the Brave browser itself as well as its search engine. Online sites picked up on that. When you go there with a non-Brave ad blocker, a popup will say the equivalent of we noticed you are using an ad blocker. Please, whitelist our news site so we can feed our starving families. The we-noticed line undermines their credibility because it is such an obvious lie. They didn’t notice. They frisked your browser for an ad blocker. [NF: I run into this once in a great while – not usually an issue with Brave and I never see the ads.]
I have a theory that the American media has adopted the Pravda model. The newspaper’s reason for existing was not just to spread propaganda to fools but to get those not fooled to distrust everything they read. That is quite a trick. “We noticed” also reinforces the determination of ad blocking people to continue to block ads. Obviously, a certain percentage of people white list or the companies would not bother posting these notices. I block ads because of their annoyance.
The real threat to online ads are the privacy concerns that brought on EU regulation. Gadak wrote, “These actions have a trickle-down effect. It’s not merely that lawmakers and tech brands are making life difficult for the online advertising industry. It’s that, as a consequence, digital channels are increasingly less attractive (or useful) for advertisers. And so, they’re looking to spend their budget elsewhere. A great example is audio advertising, which grew by 57.9% in 2021, and continues to expand at a phenomenal rate.”
The online ads ship is sinking, just as newspapers and other news media board the boat. As you watch the water rise, which do you prefer, recliner or hammock? Oh, some of the Newsosaurs will survive. Tyrannosaurus NYT now has roughly 10 million online subscribers giving it a far bigger reach than it ever had with print alone.
But those subscriptions come at the expense of local newspapers, which is just as well. The inherent liberal bias aside, the reporting has gone from spotty to dopey. The papers are now the size of comic books and read that way. Judging by reader emails, many of my subscribers are former newspaper readers who grew to resent the local papers they once supported. Journalists not only lied but they betrayed their biggest supporters. The comeuppance was inevitable, overdue, and fun to watch.”

“Transgender category canceled at Berlin World Cup swimming event after nobody signs up; World Aquatics is disappointed but wants to explore other avenues”
October 06, 2023
editor: REMIX NEWS author: MANDINER
“In a bold move, the international governing body of swimming, World Aquatics (formerly FINA) announced a new, “open” category besides men’s and women’s events at this year’s World Cup opening event in Berlin starting today, but it turned out to be a huge flop.
The open category — a euphemism for transgender swimmers — would have been a perfect fit for cosmopolitan Berlin, which, according to the federation, would have been the ideal location for such a pioneering project due to the city’s status as a “bastion of acceptance.”
Last year, World Aquatics changed its regulations and only allows transgender swimmers to compete in their new gender category if their transition happened before the age of 12. At this year’s World Cup, they planned to open the 50- and 100-meter events and were reportedly looking forward to expanding to other categories.
However, there were no entries in the “open” category events by the deadline. In a discreet but decisive move, World Aquatics therefore finally canceled the relevant races from the Berlin competition. They announced that although there was “no demand for this at the elite level at the moment,” the International World Aquatics Open Category Working Group would continue its work and examine the possibility of including this innovative category in the program of future senior swimming competitions.
The German Lesbian and Gay Association, however, pointed out that the push for a separate category is in fact “a step backward in the acceptance and equality of trans people.”
The association criticized that entrants are forced to “come out” by registering for an event that is clearly for transgender people. At the same time, the group points out there are some people within the men’s category who have an advantage over other men, for example, because of their height, arm length or lung capacity, and yet no one thinks they should be excluded from the competition.”
hey! ^^^^^^ that;s the one i posted yesterday (?) with the header cut off!
wonder how the heck i managed to do that…LOL
(free hotel room–family wearing mustaches)
Dr. Malone: “The influx of immigrants isn’t happening just to “blue cities,” it is happening all over the USA. For instance, the historic little city near where we live has had a huge increase of immigrants in the last six months. Most are from central American, basically Guatemala. But there was nothing in the local papers about this major shift in demographics.
According to the Virginia Department of Education in February, 2023 – Culpeper county has seen an 82% increase in English language learners in the past five years. Culpeper is a working town and had a fair number of immigrants prior to the past six months, so this newest influx is a huge increase. Is this happening in your town or city? Most likely it is…
“For only the second time in U.S. history, the unpublished DHS data shows, annual migrant apprehensions along the U.S. southern border surpassed 2 million. The data pertained to fiscal year 2023, which ended this weekend. The 2.2 million total of migrant apprehensions in fiscal year 2022 remains the highest-ever annual tally” (CBS News).
American culture can not assimilate this number of people this fast. And frankly, keeping our open spaces open is important to the quality of our lives. More fast growing cities and suburbs is not good for community, our way of life or for our vulnerable ecosystems.
It is also a question of where our tax dollars are going to go. Do we want to pay for a quality education for children or more English as-a-second-language teachers for children that have just entered the country? Do we want better roads and infrastructure or more money to the “welfare state?” Do we want the government to pay the deficit down – or do we want the US to go into more debt to pay to incorporate and feed/house more and more immigrants into our country?
This is one reason why next election is so critical. This is not a “far-right” issue, this is a saving America issue.”
OK, Norfolk Daily News has their website set so that I can’t copy any of it – this is an article about my niece, Annette! She is my older brother’s daughter. You may recall me doing an open way back when about her coming to NoVA and she and I touring the monuments in DC. We had HB convinced we had been arrested for wading in the reflecting pool! LOL
She hit the $3K and is hoping to bring in $5K – yep, they did it! NDN makes you pay for on-line but Mom has extra copies and it will be available free at some point, like this one is now. I sent her a congrats e-mail.
She’s a tough cookie! She used to do CrossFit training on a regular basis, including when she was stationed in Iraq. She was a fuels specialist and a supervisor. My Sis had told me that they made it; the only issue was a slight delay for her dog’s foot pads to recuperate – he got kind of sore.
“Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene Meets with Socialist Group Code Pink — The self proclaimed “America First” Congresswoman was pictured rubbing elbows with a radical-leftist, progressive, feminist organization with ties to socialist dictators.”
LAURA LOOMER
OCT 6, 2023
ENTIRE ARTICLE: “Rep. Greene’s photo op with Code Pink comes one day after she went on a Tweeting spree to defend Kevin McCarthy’s former position as Speaker of the House. She was seen on video voting to keep McCarthy as Speaker, and following his removal as Speaker of the House, Greene took to her Twitter feed to save face and push for President Trump as a possible replacement for Speaker of the House.
MTG has also claimed: “Not another penny for Ukraine!! I will NOT support ANY ONE for Speaker who will send America’s hard earned tax dollars to the corrupt country of Ukraine!! Defend America’s border!!!”
This is false. I clearly stated so in my response to her tweet: “You voted to protect @SpeakerMcCarthy yesterday who allocated and approved billions of dollars of aid for Ukraine. He flip flopped and said no more money and then caved when Zelensky was here 2 weeks ago. You are such a fraud! Even Back in January McCarthy was pledging to send money to Ukraine and you supported him. He never would have been speaker if it wasn’t for you. Here’s video of you voting against the Motion to Vacate yesterday. EVERYONE NEEDS TO WAKE UP AND PUSH BACK ON THIS LYING FRAUD @mtgreenee. SHE WAS @SpeakerMcCarthy’s BIGGEST ENABLER AND NOW SHE IS TRYING TO AVOID ALL ACCOUNTABILITY! We can’t allow for this.”
It should disturb everyone how Rep. Greene has chosen to take to the Capitol steps with Socialists who are known to be anti-American, anti-Israel, pro-Chinese Communist Party, and pro-Islamic regime, all for some extra camera time. MTG does nothing unless it will get her media attention, and behind the scenes, she does the exact opposite of what she says she will do.
In one tweet I posted, I said, “@RepMTG is so full of crap. She was more than happy yesterday to see McCarthy as Speaker when she voted to protect him. McCarthy refused to shut the government down because he wants to see a continuation of a Weaponized government. Once again, here we have @mtgreenee trying to be the center of attention after she was working behind the scenes all day yesterday to help @SpeakerMcCarthy. If she’s not the center of attention, she won’t support something. When will people wake up and realize what a fraud this woman is? This is Annette’s photography site – funny how our hobbies coincide – horses, photography, wide open country, the gypsy life…the black dog was her previous dog. She had left him with her Mom to care for when she went overseas; unfortunately, she didn’t watch him closely enough; he chewed up a rubber chew toy that ended up blocking his intestinal tract and he died. ‘Nette was furious with her! She purchased a 5th wheel camper – gorgeous thing with a fireplace – and she and her dog travelled around the country when she was on leave.
Just checked out the Portrait section – she has pics of my nephew and his family (the bottom 5 pics and yes, they are all boys – the youngest has always kept his hair longer but it’s darkened a lot – used to be almost white-blond); 2 of his sons go to the same school as Piper but they never see each other, apparently.
Of course it makes sense – makes all the sense in the world! That’s one thing about us – we are what we are and we aren’t ashamed of it! Both of the older boys went to the Lutheran HS in Norfolk; not sure if the youngest is or not. Robert is a Navy veteran.

A private trade association founded by the Biden administration’s energy loan czar Jigar Shah has become a gatekeeper for companies seeking billions of dollars in financing from Shah’s office.
The Cleantech Leaders Roundtable has seen a surge in its influence and revenue since its former president, Shah, was tapped to lead the powerful $400 billion Department of Energy Loan Programs Office (LPO) in 2021.
The group, which didn’t have a website until three years ago, now regularly hosts sold-out receptions featuring Shah for its paying members across the country. Last week, the DOE Loans Program Office and Cleantech Leaders co-hosted an invitation-only conference in Washington, D.C., for companies looking for loans—and Cleantech Leaders was in charge of the invite list and ticket sales.
During this time, companies connected to the trade association have raked in cash from Shah’s office. Last week, the Loan Programs Office approved a $3 billion loan to a solar company led by Cleantech Leaders’s board director. The group’s corporate sponsors have also pulled in funding.
The cozy relationship between Shah and Cleantech Leaders is raising questions about whether the organization’s members are getting favorable treatment in the loan process.
“It appears as if the Department of Energy has allowed a dark money climate group to be the gatekeepers of taxpayer dollars,” said Caitlin Sutherland, director of the Americans for Public Trust, an ethics watchdog group. “Friends, coworkers, and corporate allies should not be given preferential financial treatment when seeking access to government programs.”
A DOE spokeswoman said Cleantech Leaders “invited the Department of Energy’s Loan Programs Office to cohost Deploy23,” the conference last week, but called it a “nonfinancial partnership and not a government-led event.”
The DOE said Cleantech Leaders was in charge of the guest list and sponsors for the event. The official declined to comment on how much tickets cost, but said the conference was “made possible through ticket sales and event sponsorships.”
But the group’s tight control of the invitation list for a government co-hosted conference irked some energy industry insiders. One said it looked like a “pay-to-play scheme” and called it a “slap in the face to all the companies following the rules.”
Hmmm…a funny coincidink, Pat, re: our earlier e-mail exchange…? VERY long article but this struck me…you’ll have to read or scroll down a ways to get to this section.
“Consider this essay from clinical psychologist Jill P. Weber Ph.D., published in Psychology Today, titled Self-Victimizing Again? There is relief for the persistently victimized.
Do you attribute control of your successes and failures to yourself or to some fated force outside of your purview? Whether it is your weight, your emotions, your spouse, your children, your paycheck–if you continually find yourself feeling angry, resentful or upset by the events in your life, reflect on who you blame for life’s ups and downs. How a person internalizes a particular point of view about control speaks volumes about their ability to live with a sense of wellbeing and contentment.
In personality psychology, locus of control defines how much a person believes that they are ultimately responsibility for their successes and failures. The word “locus” is Latin for “location”–essentially either a person feels the location of their control over life is either internal (rests within themselves) or external (rests with fates outside of their control). The concept was clarified by Julian B. Rotter in the 1950’s. He demonstrated that locus of control is on a continuum, some people are highly external, some highly internal, and some fall somewhere in the middle. Since the 1950’s this research has been brilliantly expanded by Carol Dweck with her theory of success as based on a “Fixed” or “Growth” mindset.
People who have a high internal locus of control believe that effort, hard work, learning from setbacks, soliciting feedback, eventually lead to success. People who have a high external locus of control attribute success to sources outside of their immediate control, i.e. luck, other individuals, environmental factors, accidental chance. If you have a high external locus of control, you do not see how your own actions or lack of action may be at the root of how you generally feel about your life.
People with a high external locus of control continually blame environmental factors for their hardships. For example, if they perform poorly at work, people with a high external locus of control are more likely to blame their boss, while those with a high internal locus of control may blame their own efforts and abilities.
If you have a high external locus of control you may continually find yourself experiencing the same set of negative consequences over and over again; this may occur interpersonally, professionally, emotionally and even in terms of your physical health. If your philosophy about control is outside of your conscious awareness then you are essentially a slave to it, repeating the same negative dynamics again and again, all the while feeling at the mercy of circumstance.
Over time, repeatedly reenacting the same problematic patterns of behavior causes a self-fulfilling prophesy to manifest. A person comes to believe that they truly cannot impact their own future; thereby sealing their fate as nothing more than a cog in a wheel that goes nowhere.
If you grew up with parents who continually emphasized effort and personal responsibility, you may have an easier time with life’s ups and downs. On the other hand, if your parental models continually blamed external factors for their difficulty or if you genuinely struggled with events outside of your control (socioeconomic status, trauma, abuse, war or social unrest) you may be prone to having a high external locus of control.
Locus of control has been extensively researched and is a significant factor in pro-health behaviors, emotional stability, relational satisfaction and professional accomplishment. Having a high external locus of control may make some more prone to depression, alcoholism and obesity.
It is important for your future contentment to consider how you approach setbacks, what is your attributional style? Answer these questions to find out….”
“And there it is. “You , alone, choose which way you wish to control your life.”
How can you prevent yourself from the epidemic disease of self-victimization? How can you prevent the Administrative State and the Globalists from victimizing you? You have the power of self-determination. You can choose to be a victim, you can choose to be a warrior, or you can choose one of the other roles that empower you as an individual. But seek balance, recognize that there are many options, and be careful in whichever role you choose. Each alternative comes with strengths, weaknesses and risks when taken to extremes.”

We thank the Appellate Division for staying the NY Attorney General’s and Judge Engoron’s overzealous attempt to cancel our New York business certificates. Judge Engoron’s order erroneously sought to adjudicate the rights of non-party business entities that employ nearly 1,000 hard-working New Yorkers, have never been accused of any wrongdoing and, were never given their day in court – in clear violation of their fundamental Constitutional rights and Due Process. We will continue to vigorously defend our company and our incredible employees from this politically-motivated persecution.

I noticed yesterday that the spacing issue varies from site to site. It happened with the memes I posted yesterday – some are still running waaaay outside the box depending on the site where I am copying them, both here & at M’s. It has already happened to me this morning, too.

From Gregg Jarrett:

According to the sources, the former Mar-a-Lago employee also told investigators he was “bothered” and “shocked” to hear that the former president had provided such seemingly sensitive information to a non-U.S. citizen.

ENTIRE ARTICLE @ JustTheNews:

At the same time, the group points out there are some people within the men’s category who have an advantage over other men, for example, because of their height, arm length or lung capacity, and yet no one thinks they should be excluded from the competition.”

and why would there be ANY entrants? if they wanted to compete against OTHER me, they would do so in the MENS division to begin with

Someone else who needs a better editor….

For the sake of protecting President Trump I hope people realize this woman was the loudest mouthpiece for Kevin McCarthy who has been directing his donors to have fundraisers for @RonDeSantis, who has refused to endorse President Trump, and who was seen partying with Hunter Biden at the White House.”

Another Twitter user stated: “Republican representative @RepMTG Marjorie Taylor Greene is photographed outside Congress with Code Pink and calls them brave activists when they are spies. Observe how she takes a photo with an agent complicit in the Communist Tyranny of Venezuela and Cuba.”
The same Twitter user posted a video of the same Code Pink member talking about how happy she is that President Trump was “defeated” by Joe Biden in 20202. Why is self proclaimed Trump supporter MTG associating with radical Leftist Trump haters and socialists? Clearly, MTG is not who she pretends to be…”
