Facts about I Dream of Jeannie That You Never Knew

I Dream of Jeannie is a classic fantasy sitcom that ran on NBC from 1965 to 1970. Starring Barbara Eden and Larry Hagman, the show is about a 2,000-year-old genie-in-a-bottle named Jeanie who was acquired by astronaut Captain (later Major) Anthony “Tony” Nelson while stranded on a desert island after a space mission. The astronaut took the genie in the bottle and takes her home with him, and he becomes her master. Hilarious situations ensued between them, with Jeanie falling in love with Tony at first sight. Eventually, they get married in the end.

The show was released to coincide with fantasy comedy shows like Bewitched, which was airing over at ABC. Many critics have noted the similarities between the two shows, but I Dream of Jeannie became a pop culture classic on its own.

Here are some fun facts about the show that you never knew:

Barbara Eden was not the first choice of the producer

Being Jeannie was the role of a lifetime for Barbara Eden, since it catapulted her to stardom. Also, it’s hard to imagine anyone filling in Jeannie’s iconic costume than her. But Sidney Sheldon, the show’s executive producer, originally had reservations about hiring her. Sheldon didn’t want to cast anyone with blonde hair, to avoid comparisons with Bewitched star Elizabeth Montgomery. After various brunette starlets and beauty queens unsuccessfully auditioned for the role, they could not find anyone who could play the role as he wanted it. Eden was cast almost in an act of desperation, as Sheldon’s colleagues recommended her because of her performance in The Brass Bottle.

The show gave conflicting stories of Jeannie’s origins

When the series started, it was shown that Jeanie was transformed into a genie for refusing to marry Blue Djinn (who was played by Michael Ansara, Eden’s real-life husband back then). It became confusing when later on in the middle of the series, they mentioned that Jeannie came from a family of genies.

It was the last network series to be filmed in black and white

The first season of Jeannie was shot in entirely black and white because of budget restraints. Apparently, the studio execs didn’t expect the show to last for more than one season so they weren’t willing to spend extra bucks for the color film. Because of that, this was the last series from the network to be filmed in black and white. But as the show came out successful, they switched to color on the second season.

There was no theme song until the second season

The show didn’t have a theme song on the first season.  The familiar-sounding, catchy Jeannie theme song appeared in the second season, when a new, colored animated opening sequence was introduced.

Censors had problems with Eden showing her belly button

Due to strict television censorship at the time, Eden was restricted from showing off her belly button on screen. But there was one slip-up that caused a bit of commotion during the series. Also, her legs must always be kept covered with baggy pantaloons that must be thick enough so her legs won’t show through. Cleavage, however, was a fair game.

Barbara Eden was an on-set lion expert, too

Besides being the lead star, Barbara Eden also considered herself as somewhat of a lion expert on the set. During the first season, there was an episode where they featured a real lion on one scene. As Eden told her story in her memoir, Jeannie Out of the Bottle, she said she had some prior experience working with lions, so she was thrilled. She offered helpful advices for her co-workers on how to deal with the lion. However, her co-star, Larry Hagman refused to bond with the lion and didn’t feel the same way about the furry friend. When it came to do the scene, Eden was comfortable with the lion’s presence, but when it looked at Hagman, the furry friend let out a frightening roar. The frightened Hagman bolted out of the set, off the studio and into the street. Some crew members bolted off, too.

Barbara Eden was pregnant during filming the first episodes of the series

When the series began shooting in 1965, Barbara Eden was pregnant. During the first 10 episodes, the producers tried to hide her growing baby bump through different techniques, like adding several extra veils to her genie costume. Eden joked about it, saying “I looked like a walking tent.”

Larry Hagman handled his anxieties and frustrations on the set with booze

For an ambitious actor like Larry Hagman, it was hard to play as the second best star to Eden. Also, he would often get frustrated with how the script was written, plus he was carrying some of his own personal anxieties, so he drank away his sorrows. Eden wrote on her memoir that Hagman started every day at the studio drinking champagne, and then enter his dressing room in between scenes to smoke pot and drink more champagne to keep calm. This caused him to undergo a liver transplant in the ‘90s.

Also, Larry Hagman was problematic to work with

Because of Hagman’s alcoholism and unruly attitude, the show was hampered. The staff were irritated by his behavior, so the producers sent him to a therapist. However, it seemed to only make things worse because Hagman started to ingest lots of marijuana, LSD and more champagne “in the interests of maintaining a calm serenity.” He often lost his temper and once voiced his displeasure with the staff by urinating all over the set due to a disappointing script. And it didn’t affect only the staff. Legendary singer Sammy Davis Jr., who appeared in a season 2 cameo, became so enraged with the co-star that he actually threatened to kill Hagman.

Barbara Eden didn’t like that Jeanie and Tony Nelson got married in the end

It seems like Hagman wasn’t the only one who had problems with the script. The show ended with Jeanie and Tony getting married, which Eden didn’t approve of. Part of the whole fun of the show was the palpable sexual tension between the astronaut Tony and the mischievous and attractive Jeanie who both lived under the same roof, while Tony still managed to keep her out of his bedroom. The funny antics ran around watching Jeannie being willing to fulfill his wishes and calling him master, no less. But regarding the characters’ marriage, Eden said it ruined the point of the show and broke credibility, because Jeannie wasn’t human. “This just turned her into a housewife – more like Samantha from Bewitched,” she added.

Larry Hagman only found out that the show was cancelled from a studio guard

After the series’ fifth season, Hagman went to South America to take a vacation. Upon returning to the US, the actor wanted to get something from his dressing room on the set. He ran into a security guard who was perhaps surprised to see him there and told him that there was no sixth season in the offing. Apparently, nobody told him, and he only found out about the news from that guard. Hagman wasn’t surprised and said he halfway expected it, citing decline in ratings and the decision to marry off Jeannie and Tony. But he couldn’t help but observe, “Wow that was real Hollywood.” He lamented, “I expected some kind of formal, pleasant way of telling you you’re out of work.”

Phil Spector made a cameo on the show

Before he became a convicted murderer, Phil Spector was a big record producer during the 1960s and 70s. He appeared on a cameo on the show playing as himself when Jeannie had musical aspirations. Spector was game for poking fun at himself and the music industry in general.

The show had a fun little connection with The Monkees

While it only lasted for two seasons, The Monkeys, a fellow NBC sitcom, had some fun connections with I Dream of Jeannie as both shows referenced each other in some episodes. In one The Monkees episode, Davy Jones rubs a small table lamp and a beautiful genie (not exactly Jeannie) emerged, which led Jones to respond, “Imagine that – wrong show!” Then, cue the laugh track.

In I Dream of Jeannie, Jeannie puts together a rock band featuring Bobby Hart and Tommy Boyce, who wrote some of The Monkee’s most famous songs. At one scene, Hart is shown holding a copy of The Monkees’ first album.

Bill Daily had trouble memorizing his lines, but it turned out all right

Besides Eden and Hagman, I Dream of Jeannie also featured Bill Daily as astronaut Roger Healey. Daily was praised a lot for his comic ability, but little did people know that he suffered from dyslexia, which made him have trouble memorizing lines. The actor often ad-libbed his lines, creating some of the series’ best moments in the process.

The producers burned the set of the show

After the show was cancelled, the show’s producers set to work dismantling the show’s production. During the 50’s and 60’s in Hollywood, it was quite expensive to store collective sets and props, and it was not worth spending the money if it won’t serve any purpose anymore. To resolve this, the crew burned down Jeannie and Major Nelson’s “home” to avoid a big expense with no payback. Barbara Eden did manage to get a hold of one of the series’ magic lamps, which she kept in her personal vault for years. Eventually, she decided to donate it to the Smithsonian Institution, which is one of the most famous and visited TV props in history.

too dark outside to see temps or clouds…or hummers for that matter.
when it gets light enough, we’ll see if they’re sitting on the deck railing below where the feeders hang.

    1. Morning, Pat! I watched both of them – Bewitched and this one! Dark here still, too. Nipply – was 58 when I got up, now down to 57. But we’ve allegedly got a few days of 80’s before we plunge to highs in the 60’s this week-end…again, allegedly…time to open the door and put GT’s food out, I guess, but I’m tiring of this game, tbh. Progress needs to happen soon or I’m done with it.

gees you just stirred a memory.
i was physically abused by my first husband. by the time i met hubby, my first had been dead for years. but the memory and the fear never left.
the first time (second) hubby and i had a loud disagreement, he lifted his hand to scratch his face, but instinctively i recoiled expecting to be hit. it had been years, but that distrust returned in a second.
he immediately dropped his hand and this look came over his face. he stood his ground–not approaching me–and said I will never touch you in anger. NEVER. it may take you years to trust that, but you can take that to the bank.
maybe GT was treated badly and can’t trust…???

talks to Russell Brand about how the NSA was in charge of Operation Warp Speed, the history of the United States bioweapons program, and why Anthony Fauci is the highest-paid government official in history:

“The weird thing about the pandemic was this constant involvement by the CIA, the intelligence agencies, and the military. When Operation Warp Speed made its presentation to the FDA committee called VRBPAC…

It shocked everybody because it wasn’t HHS, CDC, NIH, FDA, or a public health agency. It was the NSA, a spy agency that was the top agency that led Operation Warp Speed, and the second agency was the Pentagon.

The vaccines were developed not by Moderna and Pfizer. They were developed by NIH. The patents are owned 50% by NIH. Nor were they manufactured by Pfizer or by Moderna.

They were manufactured by military contractors, and basically, Pfizer and Moderna were paid to put their stamps on those vaccines as if they came from the pharmaceutical industry. This was a military project from the beginning.

One of the things I uncovered in my book is twenty different simulations of coronavirus and pandemics that started in 2001. The first one was right before the anthrax attacks, and the CIA sponsored them all.

The last one was Event 201, which was in October 2019. One of the participants was Avril Haines, the former Deputy Director of the CIA, who has been managing coverups her entire life. She did the Guantanamo Bay and others.

She is now the Director of National Intelligence, which makes her the highest-ranking officer at the NSA, which managed the pandemic… All of these simulations were about how you use the pandemic to clamp down on censorship. How do you use it to force lockdowns.”

I brought 58 HOSTAGES home from many different countries, including North Korea, and I never paid anything. They all understood they MUST LET THESE PEOPLE COME HOME! Toward the end, it got so that countries didn’t even start the conversation asking for money, because they knew they would not get it. Once you pay, you always pay, & MANY MORE HOSTAGES WILL BE TAKEN. Our grossly incompetent “leader,” Crooked Joe Biden, gave 6 BILLION DOLLARS for 5 people. Iran gave ZERO for 5. He’s Dumb as a ROCK!

  6. “WHY did the Bushes, and the Texas GOP, try to nail Ken Paxton? Because he was investigating the election fraud committed BY BOTH PARTIES. Until the honest people (there must be some) on BOTH sides admit that “their” side’s done it too, we’ll never have a righteous voting system in this country (as we COULD have if we really wanted it)”
    MARK CRISPIN MILLER
    SEP 18, 2023

ENTIRE ARTICLE: “As long as we keeping thinking tribally about election theft in the United States, we’ll never see the end of it. What good Republicans and Democrats (however few there are) must do, therefore, is face the grim fact that both parties have been lofted into power through fraud—and that neither party really calls the shots. What we have is a Uniparty, with elections “won” or “lost” regardless of the will of the electorate, the whole production managed (since that day in Dallas) by the CIA.

This is why the subject of election theft has, for decades, been taboo, “our free press” and both parties jeering stridently at anyone who’s tried to talk about the evidence of fraud in any race. Thus those of us who sounded the alarm about the overwhelming evidence of fraud back in 2000 and 2004 were blown off by all sides, just as “our free press” and both parties now dump lividly on anyone who notes the overwhelming evidence of fraud in 2020. The only difference between then and now is that, today, the heresy is punished not by ridicule, as it was when the theft(s) were managed for Bush/Cheney, but—astoundingly—by federal prosecution, as in the crackdown after “January 6,” and the recent sentencing of Owen Shroyer. (See Celia Farber’s piece below.)

For a vivid sense of just how dangerous it’s always been to try to publicize the evidence of theft, regardless of which party was advantaged by it, read Votescam by James Collier and Kenneth Collier (which you can find easily as an e-book, in the Forbidden Bookshelf series: https://openroadmedia.com/forbidden-bookshelf.)

In any case, what this country badly needs is an election integrity movement—the (fledgling) one that I belonged to having largely been destroyed by Trump Derangement Syndrome, which turned all too many of its members into rabid propagandists for the DNC. Thus they zealously rejected a rare opportunity to enlarge the movement radically; for bridging differences to realize a democratic goal is radical. That failure, or refusal, was a civic tragedy beyond description; for, because of it, we’re now faced with, and (it seems) incapacitated by, a national divide that may soon escalate into a civil war—a great thing for our enemies on high (who have, no doubt, been doing all they can to bring it on).

(Scroll down for my friend Josh Mitteldorf’s cogent piece on the bizarre—and catastrophic—settlement of the Fox/Dominion lawsuit, and how it pertains to the long taboo on frank discussion of election fraud.)”

      1. You know, I just now realized how ironic this really is….for years, when I knew absolutely nothing about government, I was all-in on the Uniparty concept but supported a popular vote – one person/one vote/count each one – naive and stupid, clearly, but I never voted till after 9/11 because I thought my vote didn’t/wouldn’t count! Then I started on this journey and became informed and I was all rah-rah on a Constitutional Republic (still am, of course!). Now I am back to believing it doesn’t make a damned difference which way you vote, it still won’t be “counted!” Basically, an unsatisfying circle jerk!

    FTA

“Now, obviously, I’m not gonna wear a bikini,” she added. “But of all the issues that we have to deal with right now, ranging from the possibility of the government shutting down to what we do about Ukraine, we’re talking about the Senate dress code? That’s extraordinary to me.”

Collins was far from the only GOP senator to take issue with the change.

“I don’t tend to change anything. I expect to do the Senate the same way it’s been done for 20, 40 years with the dress code,” Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA), who turned 90 on Sunday, said. “What has been suggested stinks. It is unprecedented, and if you can’t count on the majority leader of the United States Senate to uphold the decorum of the United States Senate, who can you count on?”

  8. “Hunter Biden sues IRS over whistleblowers’ ’embarrassing’ testimony to Congress. The lawsuit alleges that the IRA “willfully, knowingly, and/or by gross negligence, unlawfully disclosed Mr. Biden’s confidential tax information.”
The Post Millennial, Sep 18, 2023, 2 Minute Read

ENTIRE ARTICLE: “On Monday, Hunter Biden’s attorneys filed a lawsuit against the Internal Revenue Service, accusing a number of agents of having attempted to “target” and “embarrass” him. Among those named are Gary Shapley and Joseph Ziegler, whistleblowers who testified before the House Oversight Committee and provided statements to the media regarding limitations they faced while investigating the younger Biden’s tax case, suggesting that the Department of Justice had gone out of its way to protect him.

According to Fox News, the lawsuit alleges that the IRA, via Shapley, Ziegler, and a host of others, “willfully, knowingly, and/or by gross negligence, unlawfully disclosed Mr. Biden’s confidential tax information.” It cites the pair’s status as whistleblowers as a fact that “cannot and does not shield them from their wrongful conduct in making unauthorized public disclosures that are not permitted by the whistleblower process.”

The first son is asking for the court to affirm the aforementioned statement, and require that the agency pay him $1,000 for “each and every unauthorized disclosure of his tax returns.” “Biden is the son of the President of the United States,” the lawsuit reads. “He has all the same responsibilities as any other American citizen, and the IRS can and should make certain that he abides by those responsibilities.”

“Similarly, Mr. Biden has no fewer or lesser rights than any other American citizen, and no government agency or government agent has free rein to violate his rights simply because of who he is.” The lawsuit goes on to suggest that “the IRS and its agents have conducted themselves under a presumption that the rights that apply to every other American citizen do not apply to Mr. Biden.”

Biden was slapped with misdemeanor charges related to his failure to pay federal taxes on over $1.5 million in 2017 and 2018. He nearly reached a sweetheart plea deal in July, but it was dropped when his attorneys were not able to secure a full, blanket immunity for Biden on any future charges.”

  9. Anyone living in Illinois but especially Chicago —- MOVE!!!

ENTIRE ARTICLE @ PM: “An Illinois law eliminating cash bail state wide is set to go into effect on Monday, officials have revealed. According to NBC 5 Chicago, this comes two months after the state’s Supreme Court ruled that the “Pretrial Fairness Act,” which is part of the larger “SAFE-T Act,” was constitutional.

The law faced dozens of states’ attorneys filing suits against it, and their appeals were heard by the state’s Supreme Court, which ruled in July that the law could stand. Under the bill, judges will determine whether suspects accused of specific felonies or violent misdemeanors who pose a risk to the community or another person, will be detained pretrial. Judges will also be required to determine if the defendant is a flight risk.

Defendants can be denied pretrial release if charged with counts that include: aggravated discharge of a firearm, unlawful sales or delivery of firearms, human trafficking, child abduction, reckless homicide, hate crimes, threatening a public official, residential burglary, and child endangerment.

Pretrial release can be denied if the defendant poses a “real and present threat to the safety” of other people or the community and has been charged with counts that include: animal torture, driving under the influence causing great bodily harm, and driving under the influence resulting in bodily harm of a minor under the age of 16, among other counts.

Pretrial release can also be denied if the defendant was charged with a “forcible felony,” which includes predatory criminal sexual assault of a child, first and second-degree murder, aggravated arson, kidnapping, robbery, burglary, and other counts.

If the defendant was charged with a felony, the court shall determine as part of the detention hearing “whether there is probable cause the defendant has committed an offense,” and if “there is a finding of no probable cause, the defendant shall be released.”

The bill states that “All defendants shall be presumed eligible for pretrial release,” and the state “shall bear the burden of proving by clear and convincing evidence that “the proof is evident or the presumption great that the defendant has committed an offense listed” in subsection a of the bill, and the defendant poses a threat to others or the community.

The bill states that “decisions regarding release, conditions of release, and detention prior to trial must be individualized, and no single factor or standard may be used exclusively to order detention. Risk assessment tools may not be used as the sole basis to deny pretrial release.”

In a statement published on Thursday, the Cook County Government said that “Cook County stands ready to implement all aspects of the Act, including the new initial appearance and detention hearing processes.”

“With the elimination of cash bail, Cook County stands as a beacon of justice where decisions are made on safety, not dollars. Together, with all our agencies and community stakeholders, we are confident in the successful rollout and the enduring positive impact of the Pretrial Fairness Act,” said Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx.”

when there is a law with set conditions on bail everyone would be treated equally. this allows a judge to make “guesses” on whom to incarcerate pretrial and whom to release.

  10. LOL – from Badlands Media – I much prefer Ashe over Burning Bright – you would probably prefer BB, the eternal optimist:

Our Take: “Since his ‘election’ to the US Senate, it’s been reported that PA Senator John Fetterman hides in the cloakroom, popping his head into the chamber only to cast his votes. This is due to the, now defunct, Senate dress code that previously required the big oaf to wear a suit.

He couldn’t do it. He couldn’t put on the suit because suits make him sad and, when Fetterwoman gets sad, he ends up in an inpatient mental hospital. So, until now, the Senate Chamber has been off limits for those most comfortable in basketball shorts and hoodies.

Apparently dress codes are ableist and that’s bad. Leader Schumer would never allow such bigotry in his chamber, so the dress code is out and Fetterman is back in the game, proving once and for all that we are not a serious country.” — Ashe in America

  11. VIDEOS: Decorated Ukrainian Nazi Awarded by Obama-Biden State Department Sexually Assaulted and Beat Women With Dildos — Joe Biden’s administration doesn’t want anyone knowing that Biden’s Asst. Energy Resources Secretary gave an award to a Ukrainian Nazi who was caught on camera sexually assaulting and beating women.

    LAURA LOOMER
    SEP 19, 2023

EXCERPT: “A decorated Ukrainian Neo-Nazi and Azov Battalion soldier who was once awarded and recognized in 2014 under the Obama-Biden administration by current Biden administration official and US ambassador Geoffrey Pyatt for his role in the Maidan Color Revolution in Ukraine has been caught on video sexually assaulting and beating women with dildos, pepper spraying innocent civilian women and kicking them as they beg for help, and physically attacking migrants and transgenders in the streets of Ukraine.

Maxim Yarosh is a Ukrainian soldier and one of the most well known members of the Neo-Nazi Azov Battalion in Ukraine currently fighting against the Russians in the Ukraine-Russia proxy war, which is unfortunately being funded by US Taxpayer dollars to the tune of over $250 billion.

In 2014, Geoffrey Pyatt was the Ambassador to Ukraine after he was hand selected and appointed by the Obama-Biden administration. During the Obama administration, the United States utilized Neo-Nazi paramilitary resources and street muscle in Ukraine to spark a color revolution that was fully supported by the United States State Department, and specifically then Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland. Now, in 2023, under the Biden administration, Nuland has been appointed as acting Deputy Secretary of State. Just as she did in 2014 under Barrack Obama’s command, Nuland is once again overseeing Neo-nazi political instigation and violence against Russians and separatists in Ukraine.

Based on an analysis and investigation that I have performed on Maxim Yarosh’s photos and videos, he is part of a larger Neo Nazi organization in Ukraine that has been tasked with instigating street violence and participating in violent assaults on anyone who opposes the revolution in Ukraine.

Maxim Yarosh and his Nazi gang members engaged in coercion against civilians. The US involvement in this violence should not be dismissed since the US has continued to fund these movements, and there have been documented instances of Nazi gang members committing murder and other violent crimes in Ukraine.

WATCH: VIDEO OF MAXIM YAROSH SEXUALLY ASSAULTING AND BEATING UP WOMEN IN UKRAINE WITH A DILDO

Photos os Maxim Yarosh included in the photo composite above show Yarosh posing with a wine bottle that has Adolph Hitler’s face on it, posing with the Nazi and Ukrainian flag, posing with Azov Battalion insignia, recording himself beating up migrants, transvestites, and women in the streets of Ukraine, and wearing a Ukrainian military uniform with two medals. The videos I have obtained of Maxim Yarosh show him beating up women with dildos, pepper spraying women and kicking them while they are on the ground, and chasing terrified women through the streets of Ukraine at night while filming himself and his escapades.

One of the medals on Maxim Yarosh’s uniform is the Combat Veteran of War Glory to Ukraine medal, which is placed on his uniform next to an Azov Battalion patch. In the photo above, Maxim Yarosh is also pictured wearing a World War II German Army Elite Infantry Officer Wool hat. This is the same type of hat worn by Wehrmacht officers during the Second World War.

After watching the videos of Maxim Yarosh sexually assaulting and beating up women and seeing the pictures of him wearing Nazi symbols and taking selfies with Nazi imagery, one has to ask: why did US ambassador Pyatt and the US Government award and recognize a Nazi Death Squad gangster like Maxim Yarosh?

This is even more disturbing knowing that Ambassador Pyatt received the State Department’s Robert Frasure Memorial Award in recognition of his leadership of the U.S. response to Russia’s invasion of Crimea and eastern Ukraine in 2014.

  16. “France: Foreigners commit 69% of robberies, violent crimes, and sexual assaults on public transport; Africans are responsible for 52 percent of crimes on public transport while making up just 3.2 percent of the population”
    September 19, 2023
editor: REMIX NEWS author: DENES ALBERT

ENTIRE ARTICLE: “Last year, 69 percent of violent robberies and other violent crimes, including sexual assaults, on public transport in the greater Paris region of Île-de-France were perpetrated by foreign nationals, according to the annual figures of the SSMSI, the statistics bureau of the French Ministry of Interior.

However, looking closer at the data, it is revealed that Africans alone are responsible for 52 percent of such crimes while only representing 3.2 percent of the population of France. Even for all of France, the data clearly shows that African nationals account for 42 percent of the above-mentioned types of crimes, way above their statistical weight within the French population.

Regarding crimes specific to public transport, the situation has actually not changed substantially over the years. The last time Remix News reported on such data in 2020, 69 percent of sexual assaults were committed by foreigners at that time as well. Overall in France, these crimes are also mostly (55 percent) committed by foreign nationals, the data indicated.

In a breakdown of the statistics from the city of Paris, 38 percent of violent robberies and other violent crimes were perpetrated by foreign nationals from the Maghreb region, which constitutes North African countries such as Tunisia, Algeria and Morocco, followed by Africans from countries outside the Maghreb region. In total, foreigners committed approximately 70 percent of all violent robberies in Paris. Another 8 percent of these crimes were committed by non-French EU nationals, and 6 percent by European nationals not hailing from the European Union.

The last time Remix News reported on general crime statistics from France, which was last year, the interior ministry announced that 48 percent of all crimes in Paris were committed by foreigners. One factor to keep in mind is that the French statistics do not break down crimes based on race or ethnicity; nor do they reveal immigration background. So, a French citizen whose parents are both from Algeria will be counted as a French national in the crime statistics. In Denmark, such information is available, and it shows that second-generation migrants with Danish citizenship actually have higher rates of crime, including murder and physical assault.

As Remix News reported in June, a poll conducted for top French newspaper Le Figaro shows that nearly three out of four French people believe there are too many migrants in the country, with the poll results coming after the country accepted a record number of foreigners in 2022 under President Emmanuel Macron.”

    FTA
WASHINGTON — Ray Epps, a Jan. 6 participant whose removal from the FBI’s Capitol Violence webpage sparked conspiracy theories that he was a federal informant, was charged in connection with the Capitol attack on Tuesday.

Epps is charged with one misdemeanor count, disorderly or disruptive conduct on restricted grounds. He was charged by information, which suggests that he plans to enter a plea deal.

Rep. Matt Gaetz Dismisses NBC’s Claim on 2026 Florida Governor Run as “Overblown Clickbait” in Comments to Gateway Pundit

In a statement to The Gateway Pundit, Gaetz clarified, “The NBC story is overblown clickbait. I ran into dozens of former colleagues from my days in the state legislature. They encouraged me relentlessly to consider returning to Florida. I wasn’t focused on any of that talk, though. My sole mission right now is to kill the [Byron] Donalds CR that funds Ukraine, Jack Smith, and a weaponized Biden government.”

Rep. Matt Gaetz made it clear that he will not support the Continuing Resolution (CR) proposed by fellow Florida Republican, Rep. Byron Donalds. Gaetz’s opposition stems from concerns over taxpayer funding for Ukraine and lack of fiscal responsibility in the federal budget.

Very wise of Gaetz to show that he’s focused on the business of running the country, not his political ambitions.

  19. “The science of imaginary genders is settled — Replace your bigoted biology textbook with this new, definitive guide.”
    SETH DILLON
    SEP 19, 2023

“The Babylon Bee Guide to Gender, available wherever harmful misinformation is sold.
Before science, the world was filled with primitive savages who thought there were only two genders. It was a dark, oppressive time when unaffirmed trans people were committing suicide by the thousands — but so secretly that there was never any record of it. Then, in the summer of 2018, science was invented and ground-breaking experiments conducted entirely in the imagination of activists proved that men could get pregnant, and women could experience both the pain of childbirth and testicle injuries. It was a time of enlightenment, inclusion, and jaw-dropping profitability at children’s gender clinics. But it was also a time of deep confusion due to widespread bigotry, biology textbooks, and so-called “common sense.” That’s why we wrote this book — not just to clear away your confusion (Chapter 1), but to shame you into compliance (the rest of it). Buy it now for less than you’d spend in tips at your local drag queen story hour.”

First responders were seen scrambling to revive someone on the ground at the stadium in a photograph shared online, as worried fans watched on. One witness described the alleged attack in a scene he said was ‘pretty hard to watch’. The full crazy story with video is here:”
