        1. OK – I’ll “see” you when you get back or tomorrow, whichever comes first. Had a smooth trip, chatted a bit with the girl at the bank about the coming changeover, picked up a couple of check registers (I still need to at least talk to the bank here), picked up my needed smoking materials, and was in and out of WM in 15 minutes. It’s so less crowded early in the day and less traffic! They had my favorite go-to frozen meal on sale, that I can always eat, Healthy Choice Sweet Sesame Chicken, for only $.87/ea!!! I grabbed all 4 that were left! And creamer for my coffee……ooohhhh….coffee….it tastes soooo good!!! LOL

      LAND GRAB ALREADY BEGINNING!
Darn investors are beginning to call Lahaina residents that lost their homes!
These investors want Lahaina land so badly!
You decide but IMHO this is a heartless mean evil tactic! Where will a Lahaina resident go with whatever they offer?
A replacement home is minimal 1.4M and there is not enough inventory out there!

Where does the author think the resource for decades long war has come from?! Opium!!
Perhaps famine is an inescapable reality.
To suggest that the Taliban has suddenly become more concerned with the people’s welfare than money is a head scratcher. Women are chattel to them and to suggest that the Taliban has grown in their esteem for their people is a tragic joke. So, yeah…this smells of CCP involvement.

I barely know him but he was, right from the beginning of this Witch Hunt, a nasty disaster for those looking into the Election Fraud that took place in Georgia. He refused having a Special Session to find out what went on, became very unpopular with Republicans (I refused to endorse him!), and fought the TRUTH all the way. A loser, he went to FNCNN!

Those Maui β€˜fires’ bear all the deep state hallmarks
What kind of β€œwildfires” burn in a perfect circle, and JUMP OVER WATER, igniting all the boats?

The government of Hawaii states goal for rebuild is to make the entire island of Maui the first Smart ISLAND. They want the entire island governed by AI as outlined in the Hawaii Digital government summit of 2023 that they have planned to host next month Monday, September 25, 2023 on Maui.

    1. I posted this yesterday at M’s:

β€œMaui Wildfires and the Theft of Sacred Hawaiian Land–Aside from the federal government’s bureaucratic failure, Hawaiians have good reason to be suspicious of the recent fires.”
      GREG REESE
      AUG 14, 2023

ENTIRE ARTICLE: β€œSurvivors of the Maui fire say that they received no warning and that the flames appeared so quickly that escape was difficult. Everything was suddenly in flames and many found refuge in the ocean for hours while their homes burned to the ground and into the same powdery ash footprint we’ve seen in recent years. So far, it is estimated that nearly a thousand people have died. Locals are worried this includes hundreds of children who were home due to school being canceled that day.

Several people are reporting that the government is not only doing little to help but they are blocking local efforts to do so and not allowing local donations through. And blocking life-saving medicine because it isn’t federally approved. The people of Maui are on their own for now. And aside from the federal government’s bureaucratic failure, they have good reason to be suspicious. Just like what we saw five years ago in Paradise California, there was nothing normal about these fires. Within a day of burning, it was like a bomb went off.

Local residents have been reporting bright flashes of light. One was captured by a home security camera that appears to have been the start of the Olinda fire. Many people are saying that it was Directed Energy Weapons. We know that most major governments already have them. And during the California fires, online weather maps recorded what looks like a laser from above striking an area just before it bursts into flames.

In his research, Denis Mills discovered that the incendiary aluminum and barium nanodust from chemtrails is most likely fueling the ferocity of today’s so-called super wildfires. And on the day before the Maui fires broke out, locals were reporting a heavy overcast from chem-trailing that they’d never seen before.

It’s also interesting to note that the Maui police chief was the incident commander for the Las Vegas mass shooting in 2017.

Lahaina is considered to be a historic and sacred land. It was the capital of the Kingdom of Hawaii before it was taken by the United States. It’s been occupied by native Hawaiians ever since who are defiantly opposed to the mainland outsiders who have been buying up land with no respect for local culture. Not just BlackRock and Vanguard, but Billionaires like Mark Zuckerberg who owns more land on Kauai than what the government of Kauai owns. And Oprah Winfrey who has bought over a thousand acres of land in Hawaii. Including a new 870 acres in Maui she bought this Spring.

In 2018 the Paradise wildfires broke out exactly where the United Nations have plans to somehow make off-limits to humans. And that same year a report on wildfire prevention was published that was focused on the exact same areas in Maui where the fires just broke out.

Governor Josh Green has been putting the World Economic Forum’s Great Reset agenda ahead of Hawaiian interests. Just weeks before the fire he unveiled an emergency proclamation on housing that eliminates the Land Use Commission. Allowing the government more leeway to build as they see fit. Such as building 15-minute Smart Cities run by Artificial Intelligence. Just like they’ve been planning for years.”

Posted on August 13, 2023 by Constitutional Nobody

ENTIRE ARTICLE: “Republican Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI) has issued an explosive statement on national television by warning the American people that Covid was β€œpreplanned by an elite group of people.” During an interview with Fox News host Maria Bartiromo, Johnson said that β€œa very powerful group of people” intentionally engineered the pandemic to β€œtake total control of our lives.”

Johnson associated this alleged plot with Event 201, which took place on October 18, 2019. The Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security, in partnership with the World Economic Forum (WEF) and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, hosted this high-level pandemic exercise in New York City. The event, held mere weeks before the initial Covid-19 cases surfaced in Communist China, outlined cooperative measures between governments, private entities, and globalist organizations in response to a major pandemic. Its declared aim was to mitigate extensive economic and societal impacts during and post-pandemic.

β€œThis was all pre-planned by an elite group of people,” the senator said. β€œEvent 201 – it occurred in late 2019, prior to the rest of us knowing about this pandemic. This is very concerning in terms of what has happened, what is happening, what continues to be planned for our loss of freedom,” he continued. β€œIt needs to be exposed but unfortunately, there are very few people, even in Congress, that are willing to take a look at this.”

β€œThey all pushed the vaccine,” he added. β€œThey don’t want to be made aware of the fact the vaccines may have caused injuries, may have caused death. So many people simply don’t want to admit they were wrong and they’re going to do everything they can to make sure they’re not proven wrong. We’re up against a very powerful group of people here, Maria.”

Johnson commended the independent journalists for their bravery in reporting truths that challenge mainstream media narratives. β€œThat’s the only way this is going to be solved is we need the truth to be exposed, we need more Americans to listen to the truth, to be exposed to the truth, to pull their heads out of the hands, open their eyes and understand what’s happening to this country,” he said.”

One other ironic point – PDJT , prior to July 2015 , never had a hint of impropriety or illegality – Since then , in 8 short years , he has committed (allegedly ) more offenses than Biden /Obama/ Clintons collectively have during their many years in β€œpublic service β€œ and has even risen to the level of being β€œa threat to democracy β€œ ( obvious distributed Dem . Talking point )

But the one interesting fact is that NONE of the β€œaccusations” involve or claim a personal financial motive or incentive -So very odd . You would be hard pressed to find any DC crime involving a DC denizen that DID NOT involve a financial motive one way or the other …Anyway …

β€œThe U.S. Supreme Court today declined to hear Moore v. United States, leaving in place a patchwork of lower court decisions on an important and recurring question about privacy rights in the face of advancing surveillance technology…

In this case, police secretly attached a small camera to a utility pole, using it to surveil a Massachusetts home 24/7 for eight months β€” all without a warrant. Law enforcement could watch the camera’s feed in real time, and remotely pan, tilt, and zoom close enough to read license plates and see faces. They could also review a searchable, digitized record of this footage at their convenience. The camera captured every coming and going of the home’s residents and their guests over eight months. As a result, the government targeted the home of a community pillar β€” a lawyer, respected judicial clerk, devoted church member, and a grandmother raising her grandkids β€” to cherry-pick images from months of unceasing surveillance in an effort to support unwarranted criminal charges against an innocent person.

Federal courts of appeals and state supreme courts have divided on the question of whether such sweeping surveillance is a Fourth Amendment search requiring a warrant. The highest courts of Massachusetts, Colorado, and South Dakota have held that long-term pole camera surveillance of someone’s home requires a warrant. In Moore v. United States, the members of the full en banc U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit split evenly on the question, with three judges explaining that a warrant is required, and three judges expressing the belief that the Fourth Amendment imposes no limit on this invasive surveillance.”

  17. We had a family gathering Sunday, some we haven’t seen since Christmas.

My dad, 84 now, was wearing a T-Shirt that said

    Dad
    Grandpa
    Great-Grandpa
    I Just Keep Getting Better

AND as the gathering was breaking up my oldest son Nathaniel & his wife announced they are expecting their 2nd child, due in March!

I have been praying for the wombs in my family & for God’s timing & grace in continuing to form the next generation…God is so good! I wonder if this one will be our first grandson…we’ll see!

Years ago, when we still had 3 boys & were living in Northern Michigan my husband thought we were done (we both were losing our minds w/ special needs stuff) but I prayed β€œDear Lord, I know I have no business asking for this because I can’t handle the kids we have, but could you send us another child, & could it be a girl & could she be healthy & could she be sweet?” That prayer was Definitely answered with All Yes’s (which is a rarity in my world). Now my hubby cannot imagine life without a daughter (& loves bragging that I β€œprayed her into existence) & since they moved into the neighborhood we see more of her & her daughter than even our son & his daughter who live even closer.

We are so thankful. I keep praying for God to preserve my parents’ life & strength. They finally travelled to OK to meet their only great-grandson (so far) & are anticipating my brother’s daughter’s second daughter coming in November & now my son’s second child too! PTL!!! ο»Ώ ❀

My unmarried son has a very serious girlfriend who he's likely to marry eventually. She's very focused on getting into law school & he is focused on his EMT & then Fire Fighting training in the city of Detroit, so engagement is probably at least a year away. Brandon doesn't have the family bug, though enjoys his nieces. His GF gets closer to the baby bug the more she sees the babies around here so who knows what's down the pike πŸ˜‰

Your GD is blessed to have such doting grandparents that can shower her with love & attention!!!

Our GD's were born 6/22, 4/23, & the anticipated baby is due 3/24….& it wouldn't surprise me if my daughter gets pregnant again before '24 closes out, but it's all in God's hands ❀ ❀ ❀

btw my husband & I still don't know very much about being grandparents LOL I've never changed either of our GD's diapers (but having 3 in diapers for 4+ years was Way More diapering than I ever wanted to see in my lifetime). 1. It’s a good thing to have for anyone, IMO. But, again, it depends on how many PWs someone has….I remember all of the sites I got to on a regular basis, like Imgur, WP, GMAIL, my bank, etc. but once in a while, I draw a blank. As you say, forgetfulness comes with age.

    3. OK, weird WP – see? I unbinned it and it posted twice…which is not a problem and wonky WP being wonky, I expect! Don’t worry about it, Val! Just sorry you have to go thru the drill of signing in every time!

  19. Whoa!!! I did NOT know about the FD leaving the fire unattended earlier in the day….this is from the 12th:

EXCERPT: β€œβ€¦..The government is worried about how we will react when we learn that the fire department left the fire earlier in the day and claimed it was 100% contained knowing that the winds were expected to be 70mph by the afternoon.

This is against all fire control protocols,” the source added. β€œThe fire department should not have left the original fire unattended. They are scared that the public calls for accountability will be more than they can control and protests and riots will occur. They plan to lock down Lahaina for several months. It will take months to clean up the hazardous and environmental contamination. They won’t have enough housing for All the displaced. There were 2,000 unaccounted for this morning. They have a list where they are trying to keep track. They found 700 today. But there are still 1300 missing. They are very worried that the community is going to freak out when they find out how not a single fire truck responded to the fires,” the source claimed.

β€œThe emergency sirens were not activated (hurricane sirens) and loss of life could have been kept down by better emergency management which utterly failed. I’m not trying to make waves or stir up problems but I was so angry and sad when I found out how many children are dead that I knew I had to post this and let everyone know what I have learned. It’s time for our officials to stand up, tell the truth, and face the music. They failed Lāhainā guys.

Our government is full of incompetent nepotism. The fire chief is the son of the former fire chief. We need to hold officials accountable for the mistakes they made. Please don’t hate the messenger. I’m just relaying what I learned today,” the source concluded. β€œGod bless Maui and Lahaina! Pray for all the victims.”

  20. From Bougie Dorms To Video Game Lounges, State Universities Burn Through Taxpayers’ Dollars

EXCERPT: “A Wall Street Journal investigation of public universities found massive increases in spending over the past two decades. Here’s a dirty little secret President Biden doesn’t mention when talking about his myriad student β€œloan” giveaways: Your tax dollars are being used to fund things like multimillion-dollar Italian monasteries and lounges for students to play video games.

Those are just some of the takeaways from a Wall Street Journal investigation into the finances of each state’s flagship public universities. The reporting shows a trend that, while not surprising, should still shock hard-working taxpayers. Institutions have raised tuition astronomically, in many cases frittering away funds on expenses unrelated to their core educational mission. And students don’t just end up paying more for an education of questionable quality β€” federal loan bailouts mean all taxpayers do too.

Spending Growth Exceeds Enrollment Growth — The investigation, conducted via a series of public records requests at the 50 state flagship universities, found massive increases in spending over the past two decades. Over that time frame, spending at the median university rose by 38 percent, while enrollment grew by only 21 percent.

Some might argue that the sizable growth in tuition over that time came because of cutbacks in state aid. Indeed, many states did reduce taxpayer spending on higher education in the years following the Great Recession. But the Journal analysis found that β€œfor every $1 lost in state support … the median school increased tuition and fee revenue by $2.40.” In other words, those tuition increases weren’t about backfilling cuts in state subsidies β€” they were about gouging students to fund wasteful projects.

Extravagant Spending — The former chancellor at the University of North Carolina told the Journal that β€œthese places are just devouring money.” And indeed, the investigation showed that much of the spending went toward expensive vanity projects rather than educating students. At the University of Florida, the number of communications directors totaled 50 in 2022, roughly double that just five years previously, while the number of deans grew from about 130 in 2017 to 160 last year.

The University of Oklahoma β€œspent $14.3 million to buy and renovate a monastery in Arezzo, Italy, to house a new study-abroad program. The monastery has a landscaped garden, faculty apartment, and classrooms featuring painted frescoes.”

Despite having the highest in-state tuition among the 50 flagship universities, Penn State University was projected to run a $140 million deficit in the academic year just concluded, and faces structural shortfalls such that it could blow through its financial reserves absent reforms….”

  21. Got busy with my camera again – 2 nice sized melons and a whole bunch of tiny ones starting. The coming heat should boost that as well as ripen the peaches.

My Trumpet Vines are blooming – there is a clump of blossoms on the back-side, too!
